Boarding School

Zeke was not expecting this dark haired girl to approach him and Anastasia but she did, and Zeke didn't want to be rude to her so he thought he'd indulge her and talk back if she said something but she came out swinging you could say first asking the two if they were dating then implying that she'd date either one of them or maybe she didn't mean date he did not want to read too much into it. After Anastasia introduced herself he told Ravena his name "Im Zeke and she got it right we aren't dating but thanks for the compliment, I guess" he had replied.

This girl was dead on when she could tell that he was new that's when Anastasia offered to show her to he activities fair, "Oh cool how about I go in get my paperwork squared away you already showed me how to get here you don't gotta wait on me. I may see if I can find my way there after I am done and thanks again Anastasia" he said kindly placing a arm on her shoulder and he smiled to himself as he got no bad vibes from her. He turned to go walk into the office and brushed against Ravena and froze for a second as he read her heart ... and lets just say it was not what he expected and the shadow-mans voice began to laugh in his head. Zeke didn't want to be obvious..."ummm.... later ..Ravena maybe I will see you around to" he said this entering the office.

Anastasia nodded her head and smiled at Zeke as he started to go on his way, but when he brushed against Ravena, she had a feeling there was something up. Though she wasn't going to say anything about it at that moment. She stood up and began leading her to the activities fair. "Have you ever been to a school before?" she questioned curiously as she knew there were people there who haven't been.

Anastasia slid her hands into her pockets and sighed as they stepped into the crowd. Many of the students there seemed to be very ignorant, but she kept the thoughts to herself. Yes she may think things like that but she was never one to come out and say mean things like that. That just wasn't the kind of person she was.

Ravena smiled at Zeke as he left and when he brushed passed her she definitely noticed but didn't say anything right then and there. She did get a weird feeling, seems like there was more to Zeke then she anticipated something magical but not a good magic, she had to find out because she felt that there is something special about him. Ravena followed Anastasia looking her up and down and Ravena could tell she had no interest in women but didn't mean she'd hid her own interest in her hell she was a beauty after all. "Have you ever been to a school before?" Anastasia had asked putting her hands in her pockets when they got around the crowd and Ravena noticed.

Ravena smiled as she grabbed Anastasia's left hand out of her pocket, seems like she had something on her mind and Ravena doesn't hold her tongue. "Don't tell me your shy, or uncomfortable around some of these stuck up pricks" she said at a louder then normal tone.... but then she quieted down "Or are you uncomfortable holding a girls hand at this school (she let go) and to answer your question yes I have lots of schools actually demi goddess kind of age slower then normal so I've been to my share of schools what about you tell me something" she said to her as they kept walking and she looked around the activity fair, she kept here ears open to hear Anastasia but her eyes were darting around the place, looking for something that might interest her.

Anastasia was a bit startled when Ravena took her hand out of her pocket and held onto it. She didn't know how to tell her she wasn't interested but in a way she figured it out herself and let go of Anastasia's hand. In response she slid it back into her pocket and listened to her as she spoke. Ravena was definitely an interesting character, though she wasn't too sure on how they'd get along as time went on. There was just something about her that made her feel uncomfortable. "Um, I've been to a couple schools before but was taken out when my parents thought it'd be best if I were home schooled but then they were forced to send me here," she answered, trying not to give away too much information. She just didn't feel as comfortable around her as she did Zeke.

Mason sighed as he removed his gaze from the gorgeous Native American beauty just yards away from him and began walking through the activities fair once again. There were definitely many gorgeous females around, he just wasn't sure how he'd be able to handle himself around here. After all, he was a natural flirt. He even flirts without meaning to at times.

The male glanced at the ground seeing one of the paper cranes that Leona had flying around the campus just a couple hours ago and started unfolding it. As he was unfolding the crane he noticed something inscribed on the paper, but just before he was able to read it he bumped right into someone. He placed the paper into his pocket as he glanced up finding two beautiful females. But the one he bumped into seemed to have a creepy, dark vibe to her, which he liked. The other just looked down right royal, there was no other way of thinking about her. "Sorry," he stated.

Ravena wasn't upset she could feel some tension from Anastasia but she meant her no harm she may be reckless and rowdy but she was not pure evil. "Look I get that I give off a bad vibe I noticed it with Zeke, and now you so in full disclosure I am just a free spirit who likes to have fun, daughter of hades and the red queen ... anything you wanna know about me or will you loosen up I don't bite... well not unless you ask me to" she says this with a smile on her face because she wanted to be friends but wasn't going to force Anastasia to be her friend.

As she was looking around a guy bumped into her, quite handsome different then Zeke more rugged and model-esque not baby faced cute. Ravena couldn't believe her luck, as the guy said sorry and Ravena had a wicked look on her face yet again, "If you wanted my room number you could have just asked cutie... its 105 and if you want hers you gotta ask her but now that you know mine I'm Ravena by the way and I'm not as easy as you probably think right now" she said holding her hand out... she had a good feeling about this guy.

"Look I get that I give off a bad vibe I noticed it with Zeke, and now you so in full disclosure I am just a free spirit who likes to have fun, daughter of hades and the red queen ... anything you wanna know about me or will you loosen up I don't bite... well not unless you ask me to" she heard Ravena say as she noticed a guy bump right into her. Before she was able to say anything she was speaking to the male, clearly flirting with him. She just smirked and shook her head a bit.

Mason chuckled at the female's words and introduced himself, "Mason," he stated. "I might show up some time, so don't forget you told me where you live," he stated with a smirk as he then glanced over towards the female to Ravena's side and politely bowed his head to her and began walking off. "See you guys later. I've got something I need to take care of real quick," he stated before going on his way. He pulled the paper crane back out of his pocket and began trying to read the words inscribed on it, but to his luck he couldn't understand a single word of it. It looked as if it were some sort of old Latin. He really needed to find Leona and give this to her, it might be important but after he talks to Leona, he would definitely go back and look for that Ravena girl. She was gorgeous.

Ravena liked to flirt and she was happy that he indulged her to, he said for her to remember she told him her room number "Oh I won't forget if your lucky maybe I can convince this one over here to be there with me" she joked.
Ravena smiled at Mason as he walked away, then turned her attention back towards Anastasia.... "I'm sorry but he has a really cute butt anyway did you have something to say before we got interrupted my that gorgeous man anyway I am kind of an open book" she said to her as she got the feeling she was going to say something.
Looking around the activity fair, Ravena got around a swim club now she wasn't a fan of swimming but her body in a bathing suit was fantastic.
"Hmm swim team, you want to sign up together or are you not good in water?" she asked

Anastasia chuckled a bit as she heard Ravena's next words. She just shook her head and walked with her through the activities. "Oh, I'm amazing in the water. After all I am a mermaid," she stated as she stood there contemplating on if she would join the swim team. As much as she liked to swim, she wasn't sure on if she would swim for competition. But she just shrugged her shoulders and signed her name on the signup sheet. "Why not?" she stated as she handed the pen over to Ravena. Besides, it's not like she were doing anything else.

Ravena's eyes widened when Anastasia said she was a mermaid as they may have been a species but they were rare, "Like mermaid mermaid as in pretty scales, fish tail, topless mermaid" she said in disbelief.

Ravena had never met a mermaid but she was happy that Anastasia told her something about herself, it wasn't much but made her believe they could be cordial to one another maybe even become friends in time. She saw Anastasia contemplate for a moment before handing her the pen. Ravena was even more impressed with Anastasia acting on a whim, she honestly didn't think she'd say yes. "I am impressed little mermaid I didn't think you'd say yes, almost pegged you for an uptight royal but your going to be my swim buddy" she said signing before handing Anastasia the pen.

Ravena waited for Anastasia to respond then had a question for her "What do you think about Zeke, and I know you didn't talk to that Mason guy but what ya think of him?" she asked

Anastasia chuckled a bit at Ravena's excitement about her being a mermaid and nodded her head. "Yes, I'm a mermaid and just because I'm a royal I don't believe I should act like one. I treat everyone the way they treat me," she answered as she placed the pen back down on the table and looked back towards Ravena. She was shocked by the question that slipped her lips but she didn't mind answering it. "Well, Zeke. He seems like a pretty decent guy. Has a lot going on, but who doesn't these days? Though as for Mason, I don't know. Something just doesn't sit right with me about him," she explained as she slid her hands into her back pockets. "Why do you ask?" she questioned a bit curious as to what brought it up.

Ravena heard her responses, and laughed how she responded to her assumption of her being a stuck up royal... but she listened when Anastasia answered her question. Well, Zeke. He seems like a pretty decent guy. Has a lot going on, but who doesn't these days? Though as for Mason, I don't know. Something just doesn't sit right with me about him,... why do you ask?" she said and Ravena was playing with her hair.

"Just curious your no regular royal but you still don't have a sense of impulse and danger, I mean Zeke is cute if he's more your type the safe guy is fine. Mason kinda looked you up and down and you just confirmed that me and Mason will get along real well. So make your choice or enjoy them both, and I will keep my options open but for you I'm always available" she said joking a little at the end.

Anastasia laughed a bit when she heard Ravena's words. "I'm really not interested in either of them that way but if I were to be it'd have to be Zeke," she answered truthfully. She began walking through the campus once again and spoke, "If you ever want to see me as a mermaid we could always head down to the beach whenever you have the time," she stated to her with a soft smile. Even though she had a strange vibe from Ravena, she still wasn't that bad of a person in her opinion. She just hoped whatever she was feeling off from her wasn't true.

Ravena listened to Anastasia reply.... "I'm really not interested in either of them that way but if I were to be it'd have to be Zeke" she said at first.
"No one said you were picking out your husband or even boyfriend I meant who do you wanna... you know come on I can't make it more obvious than that" she said to her.
Ravena continued looking at some other activities and saw some really boring ones, like the stuck up girls were all signing up for future queens of tomorrow and the guys were signing up for kingly mannerisms.

After Anastasia made that comment about her getting to see her as a mermaid she laughed outloud... "Oh sweetie don't say things like that to a bi-sexual woman I will hold you up to it... anyway I am going to head up to my room and get my things straightened out come by now or later if you want..." she said as her eyes glowed and shifted as both the activity booths caught on fire causing people to panic. Ravena just laughed and walked away headed to her dorm.

Victoria always thought that school was going to be a disaster but it brightened her day when she met Bryson he sounded like a gentleman with a heart of gold but she remembered what her father used to tell her looks can be deceiving but hey why should she listen to him now when he ain't even here. Victoria looked at him and then he said "So what's got you so interested in art?" "Well I spent a lot of time by myself when I discovered my passion for art I like to paint and draw and do all sorts of things, so what got you hooked on sports?" she wondered she didn't know a lot of guys who played in sports to her they were just men playing games but she thought this would be a good learning experience.

Leona poked at her own tray distastefully. "Yeah," she sighed. She brought a forkful to her lips in resignation. It wasn't the worst thing she could be eating right now, at least.

She finished her food (if one would consider it that) quickly, swallowing mouthfuls whole so the taste wouldn't remain in her mouth for long. With the last of it gone, she did away with the tray and fork in a flash of purple fire. "Shucks buster, magic sure is convenient!" she exclaimed, effecting a Midwest accent. She stood and stretched, pacing slowly in front of the bench then swinging her arms at her side. She had opted to take the moment to work on the issue of room transfiguration, and moving helped her think.

Anastasia laughed a bit and waved at Ravena as she started making her way to her dorm. Though just as Ana was about to go on her own way she noticed a couple of the activities booths catch on fire. She sighed and shook her head as she spewed water out of her hands, putting the fire out. As this happened she noticed many of the students and staff members just staring at her, as if they have never seen a mermaid use her powers before. Of course this probably was the first time, but she still hated the way everyone was staring at her.

Once the fire was out she just went on her way, glancing around at some of the other activities. She noticed a couple that she seemed interested in but couldn't make up her mind on if she would be able to take on more than two at once. She had already signed up for the swim team and the photography club. Finally Ana just shook her head and decided not to take on anymore.

After hearing Victoria's answer he was honestly shocked at why she turned to art. He always thought that Aurora and Phillip would spend as much time with her as possible. But he wasn't going to jump into her business, especially when he had no idea what was going on. He didn't want to jump to any conclusions. Though after hearing her question he sighed and answered, "Well, sports had always been a way for me to relieve my stress and keep fit and healthy. Ever since I was small I've always been into sports, it's a great pass time," he explained.

Drucilla tossed her trash in the trashcan and sat back down on the bench, finding purple flames burning Leona's trash. Why hadn't she ever thought of that? She sighed as she sat down, noticing her standing to her feet and pacing back and forth in front of the bench. Though as that was happening, she spotted a dark skinned male making his way towards them as if he had something important to say. She was a bit worried about what it was, she just had this horrible feeling buried deep in her stomach.

Dru stood to her feet and grabbed Leona's attention. "I think that guy over there has some sort of important news for us. He looks worried about something," she stated to her.

Mason sighed as he finally found Leona speaking to another female who seemed to be a lot like her in many ways. He could tell just by looking at the two of them. Maybe they were sisters? He just shook the thought from his head, right now he had more important business at hand. He stepped up to the two of them and glanced over at Leona. "I picked this up and was unfolding the paper and when I was doing so, I spotted this writing on it. I'm getting a bad feeling from it but I can't seem to understand what it says," he explained as he handed the paper crane that was now unfolded over to her.

Zeke got everything situated as he left the office, he had to ask around but he made his way to the activities fair. While walking down the halls he noticed some female attention he was getting but played it off. Making it to the activities fair he was excited and wanted to get involved into something. He was a great artist so naturally art of some kind but he liked football... "Art, sports... hmm maybe photography that might be good..., swimming no I can't swim" ... he said this to himself outloud, he had a habit of doing that.

A girl walked up to him, she was very pretty but she seemed to recognize Zeke

"Your king Naveen's son... Zeke right... do you remember me?" she had asked. It was one of Mulan's daughters who Zeke had met along his parents travels to other countries and kingdoms. "Oh.. your umm... Harumi right funny running into you here you've grown. Surprised you go here to... umm maybe i'll see you around" he said to her.
She was looking at him, with kind eyes as she wanted to talk but seems like this wasn't the place...."Yea I've get it first day but you've grown to... how about you take my number and we can talk when we're free" she said and Zeke hesitated but handed her his phone and she texted her phone before walking off with some friends. Zeke was wondering what that was about, but he decided to look into activities, as he did sign up for football, art and was looking for a possible third activity.

Ravena got to her room, she looked around it was much smaller then she expected... she sighed as she touched the wall and her eyes glowed and the room expanded, it was demigod magic as the room was the same size outside the door but inside was the size of her room back home. "Ok now to fix up my room.... IMPS" she called them as these little demonic creatures invisible to all except to some races but mainly gods and demigods who were loyal to her father put her things away.
After they did everything she laid in bed... bored so the thought she'd see whats going on around the school, and since the imps were invisible to races without a godly connection... she sent them to spy on some students in the school.
"Find me something interesting, please im bored out my mind except you... steal me a file on this schools roster I wanna know about some of the students here" she said to one of them ... the 4 of them disappeared wandering all around as she saw what they saw and switched between the 3 periodically.

Leona turned her head as the boy approached, noting the way his eyes fixed on her. He certainly seemed to want something of her, that much was true. "If it isn't the sleuthing inquisitor. What is it I'm being investigated for this time?"

"I picked this up, and when I was unfolding the paper I spotted this writing on it," he explained, handing it to her. Leona unfolded the paper herself and glanced down at it as he continued speaking. "I'm getting a bad feeling from it but I can't seem to understand what it says."

The note was in Latin, mostly. The language was so broken that any native speaker would've cried, and it took her a moment to begin piecing it together. As she did so, she brushed the hair hanging past the right side of her face behind her ear. "Let me guess," she said to him, affecting her voice as one would when speaking to a small child. "You were hoping I'd read it to you? Looking for a bedtime story?" 

Leona cleared her throat and straightened her back, dropping her mockery temporarily. "Minimus cadaver flos," she recited slowly and clearly, not bothering to fix the broken grammar. If the didn't know the language, it was unlikely he'd catch it anyway. "audivi prima schola hodie est. Cur ego, qui matris esse cognovimus, pro vobis sed..." Her voice faltered slightly near the end, eventually trailing off. 

She read the rest of the note to herself silently, furrowing her brow and nibbling her upper lip. The edge of the paper began to yellow curl slightly as if being held near an open flame, but stopped when Leona caught herself and looked back up at the boy. She gave him a thin smile. 

"It's nothing," she said, folding the note and stuffing it in her pocket. She gave a sweeping, theatrical bow. "Thank you, kind sir, for bringing this to me. You are a gentleman and a scholar." She turned to the bench before saying one more thing over her shoulder, her tone quite a bit more tired. "Leave."

Victoria looked at Bryson with big eyes trying not to say something she would regret later she always felt that way even if she meant the very best but always turned out bad he said something intriguing about sports she was never allowed to play sports she always wondered if her father wanted her to be a boy instead of a girl it would be definitely a lot easier then this a girl a petty girl oh how she disliked her father a times "Well that's interesting my father never allowed me to play sports." she said but looking at him she noticed how serious he was she had this cousin who was always joking around and was never serious he would play stupid pranks that would always get her in trouble but he didn't look like that guy to do that.

Anastasia smiled when she came across Zeke again, looking through the activities himself. She slowly walked up behind him and covered his eyes. "Guess who," she stated with a soft chuckle. It was nice having a friend around, someone she could be herself around. Though she still had a bad feeling around Ravena, she still didn't seem like such a bad person.

Bryson sighed and shook his head, "Well I say you should try to play some sports, even if it's not on a team. I believe you may come to enjoy it," he stated to her with a soft smile. "I wouldn't mind teaching you how to play one if you want me to. Your father isn't here, he doesn't have to know," he added as he slid his hands into his pockets and glanced around the campus a bit. He spotted a few students signing up for activities and chatting amongst themselves.

Drucilla chuckled a bit as she heard the male speaking to Leona. He did have some good intentions but was it really necessary to bring something up like that? She sighed as she sat back down on the bench as she watched the entire encounter between the two of them. When he finally decided to walk away she looked to Leona, "Who was that guy?" she questioned with a slight tilt of her head.

Though she wasn't going to lie, he was highly attractive, she just wasn't sure about him. She could tell he was a rebel but he just seemed too...what was the word she was looking for? Animal like, that's what it was. She laughed a bit and shook her head as she returned her attention to Leona.

Mason just sighed and shrugged his shoulders before walking away. All he was doing was trying to help. What if whatever he found was dangerous? He just shook the thought out of his head, figuring he shouldn't worry about her. She didn't seem to appreciate what he was doing so why should he care what happened to her. At that moment he remembered Ravena and her offer. He sighed as he slid his hands into his pockets and began on his way to the girl's dorm, looking for her room.

Once he got to her room he knocked on the door and stood there, hoping that she was there. Besides, it's not like he had anything better to do.

Victoria looked at Bryson all that talk about sports sounded fun "I would love to learn how to play sports which one do you suggest to teach me?" she said looking at him she slid her fingers through her hair slowly waiting for him to answer she didn't want to sound to eager but she didn't want to sound like she wasn't excited for all of this her father would never understand but he wasn't there it was time for her to try new things.

Ravena had gotten out the shower she put her imps to work stealing school records so she undressed and had just had on some black lacey lingerie while in her room. She heard a knock at the door and got out of her bed ... she walked to the door and opened it, and to her surprise it was Mason. She stood at the door looking at him for a moment, "Wow if I knew you would have taken my offer I wouldn't have anything on at all, Mason Wolf" she joked as she let him in and in a flash of light had on some black sweats and a black t-shirt.

"So what brings you here, those two rebel girls didn't want to play with the son of the big bad wolf"
she joked while putting her hair in a ponytail.

Zeke had signed up for football and was still looking at other possible activities such a photography or art till someone came up behind him and covered his eyes, "Guess Who" the voice said.
Zeke smiled as feeling her soft hand made him grab her hands off his eyes..., "You know I practically have a living shadow Anastasia ... but its nice to see a friendly face here" he said.

He turned and faced her surprised to see her alone he half expected Ravena or another one of her friends around but for the moment it was just her. "Didn't think you'd still be here, I got hung up at the office I got my dorm number and roommate this guy Mason Wolfe, would you by any chance know who that is? he asked

Leona shrugged. She felt drained, and wasn't in a mood to do much more than sleep at the moment. "Just some dude." She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. "We don't have class today, right? I'm gonna head back, try to get something done on the room." 

Leona walked backward a few paces, clapping her fist into her hand with each step. "I think i saw cakes at the Home Ec booth if you get the urge to chase your lunch with something with flavor," she said as she did. "If you do, though, bring me one back."

She turned, dropping her hands to her sides, and walked back to the dormitory. She climbed the stairs to her floor, only to be greeted with a 'scent' she was intimately familiar with - one she'd know almost all her life. 

"Necromancy is frowned upon, you know!" she joked as she jogged down the hall to the room where the 'scent' was emanating from, stopping in her tracks when she found the door open and a familiar face standing in its frame. "Mr. Inquisitor," she greeted stiffly. "I wasn't aware you were making house calls."
