Illnesses: Addictions

Personality: Leo is very careless, but in a different way than his brother. Though they both are a bit selfish, it's in different ways. Nate cares about himself, he gives off a vibe of loving himself almost too much. Leo on the other hand, only cares about getting a rush. It's a selfish need of his, and he only cares about getting it. He knows himself, and everything else seems less important or silly in comparison. There's only a short time in life, and Leo isn't one to waste his time on material things that lack a value to him. He does though, care deeply about the band. His commitment skills are terrible, but performing gives him a rush nothing else can, and he wouldn't risk losing that. He and his brother balance keeping the band in check, because both seem pretty unreliable.
He's extremely adventurous, and daring, hating to back down from a challenge. Exploring and finding more is what he lives for, and you'd probably never see him with a book in hand. Traveling is a passion of his, and roughing it is never a problem. He has so many stories about everywhere he's been, and rarely he's found complaining. His quirky smile and bright eyes give away his eagerness for more than what he has. He's never really satisfied unless he feels like he's living to his potential. He can't stand relaxing for more than a day or two, because he finds himself useless and quite bored. Moving around is essential to him, finding that sitting still is slightly uncomfortable after awhile.
At first meeting, he may come off as a bit of a handful, and maybe even mysterious. You could ask him anything you wanted to know about him, and he probably couldn't give you a fully straight answer. Anything regarding his opinion is usually flimsy and he's easily swayed on this he doesn't care about too much like his favorite movie, song, season, or anything along those lines. When it comes to things like religion and politics he could careless about what's happening, knowing it probably won't end up individually affecting him. He easily gets along with almost anyone he meets, even if they have nothing in common his attitude usually attracts friendship. Though, sometimes his humor or lifestyle doesn't agree with people, and thats when thing can get awkward. As for males, he gets along very well, being the young boy at heart makes it easy to relate to other guys, loving things like sports, cars, and other stereotypical things boys like. For females, his playful flirtiness makes him easy to get along with as long as he knows what kind of girl he's talking to, and he's not stepping on anyone's toes, (a boyfriend or such.)
Going off on the female related aspects of his life, he enjoys the idea of being in love, but lacks any commitment value. He has countless one night stands, and occasional friends-with-benefits, but even then it doesn't last long. He finds long term commitment dangerous, knowing himself well he knows he doesn't like to stay anywhere for too long, and fears he'd hurt someone. He's a real sweetheart, and would probably make a lovely boyfriend if he tried to put effort into keeping a steady relationship. His loyalty stands out to many, because he'd easily do anything for those he cares about. He just lacks the want to do anything close to the idea of "settling down." He hates the idea of "growing up" and refuses to talk about the matter.
Being careless and reckless has a price, and sometimes it costs him the people he cares about. To some others, his daily lifestyle and habits are dangerous and eventually it gets old. He doesn't agree with that at all, and is easily offended when other criticize him. If anyone were to bring up the fact that he should probably change his ways, he'd quickly try to avoid the conversation, or flat out say he wasn't interested in doing things differently. When persisted with the idea, he becomes frustrated, and will probably leave. He never really has any outbursts of anger, and one would only occur if he wasn't able to get some air or space.
Some may wonder, what's so bad about not wanting to fully grow up? But it's a little more complicated. You could say Leo is an adrenaline junkie, he loves a rush, and swears it's the only thing that makes him feel alive. Without that, he might as well be dead. He's a daredevil at heart, and would never feel in place anywhere but taking risks. Life threatening experiences send a jolt through his body like nothing else, and he feels like the very situation makes him feel good. It makes him realize that he could've died, and he's so happy just to be living. What's wrong with that? Those who love him sometimes worry that he'll be injured or worse, die. He tells them you can't spend your life worrying because you'll miss out, and that's his idea of living. He accepts other's lifestyles, and they should try to be understanding of his. So maybe sometimes he gets a little out of hand, like when he takes many bus, train, and taxi rides until he ends up lost and sleeping in a field, but along the way he meets interesting people and learns new things.
Maybe he's crazy, but he wouldn't have it any other way.

History: He was a child of two parents. No, his father didn't get drunk and abuse him, or his mother for that matter, and no neither of them were very mean to their children. They just lacked care. They lacked compassion. They were two people just trying to get by, do what they thought they had to and nothing more. They both worked, they both were present at home. They didn't give much affection, and always seemed to be bored with themselves, their lives, and their kids.
Their mother was a beauty queen at 18, she was gorgeous. Her mother, (Leo's grandmother) had entered her in pageants since she was 4. The little girl had grown up fine, but didn't have much of a social life. She was popular, and everyone seemed to envy her beauty, but she was untouchable. No one could really get close to her because she was reserved and closed off.
His father was an average kid. I guess the reason he never spent time with his own kids was because his parents never spent time with him. The moment he was 18 he moved out. He didn't want them, they focused on their dreams, never his. And because of that, he never could spend too much time on others, so set on figuring out what to do next, he never strayed far from the home though.
When he left, he stopped in a convenient store. That's when he met her mother. I don't know if you'd call it love at first sight, but they got to talking. She said she didn't want to be in the town anymore, but she had nowhere to go. He told her he had nowhere to go, but he was leaving. Somehow it lead to him inviting her to join, and eventually they were married.
They had two sons, who they neglected as much as their parents had to them. Their mother just wasn't the type to really lower herself to play with her first child once he'd come to a more roughhousing age, and at the same time left her second son to play alone, with his father, or his brother. On top of that, she didn't know how to be affectionate towards them, so she wasn't the classic cuddly mother. Their father was similar, mostly out working or just out in general. So they grew up somewhat alone, but dinner was always on the table.
Leo was always a happy child, and his parents did praise him for his well doing. He was always a pretty good kid, very adventurous. When his brother was born he was happy, and together they played a lot. By the time they were both walking and talking, their parents had bothered even less for Leo's brother. Mostly Leo played and talked to him, and taught him things other than the basics.
By high school Leo was already a pretty amazing guitar player. Though teachers and his parents didn't seem to appreciate the genre he played. His brother on the other hand, had begun acting out a lot, maybe for attention from his parents. Leo didn't really know, and mostly kept out of his brother's business. It wasn't until they both were in highschool that they formed their band. Nate had an interest for the music Leo played, and pretty soon he was trying to play instruments to join Leo. But, that all kind of failed because Nate constantly blamed the instrument for his terrible playing rather than the fact that he never wanted to practice. Leo suggested just being a screamer for the band, and Nate found he was actually pretty good. On top of being able to do it, he discovered he wrote pretty well too. WIP

So begins...

Blair loved being on the road, touring because it meant she got to see her fans and staying at home could get rather boring when you’re used to being on the road so much. They’d been on tour a week and both bands were still getting to know each other for the most part. They knew each other from parties and what they read, but they didn’t really know each other.

She’d kept to herself mostly. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to get to know the other, it was just how she was. Aside from Larey and Hudson, she didn’t talk much. She had slept a total of eight hours over the past seven days, her insomnia kept her from sleeping. But, she honestly didn’t mind it, the motion of the bus and the dim lighting of her bunk felt more like home to her than anywhere else.

They were currently on their way to Miami, Florida for tonight’s show. She glanced to her IPhone, the screen reading 6:23. Which meant she had at least another hour or so before anyone else was awake. She thought about texting Nate, they’d somehow become texting buddies over the past few days, she had to admit, he was an ass hole, but his constant flirting was growing on her. She decided against it though, he probably wouldn’t be awake.

She put her head phones in and pressed play, drowning out everything around her. She grabbed her make-up or at least that what everyone assumed it was. She pulled her curtain closed cutting her off from the rest of the bus. She pulled out a new needle and filled it with the toxic drug. She tied of her arm with a tourniquet as she slid the needle into the inside of her elbow wincing. She moaned softly as the drug ran through her veins like liquid fire.

She shoved everything back into her make-up bag and shoved it underneath her pillow as she lend back against the wall, letting the drug take over. She closed her eyes listening to the song play as it added to relaxing her. She hated being an addict, but in all honesty, the drugs controlled her nightmares and as fucked up as it was they kept her sane.

After laying there for a while with her eyes closed, she decided she was hungry. She quietly hopped down from her top bunk. She was in nothing but her favorite bra and boy short set., she didn’t bother to put anything on, considering Larey was normally the only guy on their bus aside from their driver and it wasn’t like she didn’t wear more revealing things on stage.

She made sure to keep quite not wanting to wake anyone else as she grabbed a granola bar and a bottle of water, sitting on the small couch a few feet from the bunk bed as she checked her Twitter. Commenting and Retweeting stuff from the fans.
