Introduction
-Ron Perlman, Fallout 3 intro.
Welcome to the (wonderful) world of Fallout. More specifically, the Capital Wasteland. The world of Fallout is pretty simple. Imagine the fifties. Now imagine if the cultural aspect stopped in its tracks, but the scientific aspect of society grew at a more rapid pace. That's basically Fallout. After several years of spying, plotting, and armed conflict, China and the US's 13 commonwealths launched nuclear missiles at each other, thus sealing the fate of humanity. But, all was not lost. Before the war, vaults; underground, self-sufficient shelters; were created by a Pre-War company, Vault-Tec. The ulterior motives of these Vaults was the fact that they were actually used for "social experiments" such as a door that doesn't fully shut, allowing the examination of radiation effects on humans, or the creation of super-soldiers, or the use of white-noise to create unquestioning soldiers. Every Vault had a different experiment, except several use for the military to house important figures. After the dropping of the bombs, which only lasted two hours, and after the radiation lowered to tolerable levels, humanity set out to rebuild.
On your travels, you will come across the good, the bad, and the neutral. You will face heartless raiders, merciless mutants, abominable animals, and treacherous people, but you will learn from your mistakes. You will either help repair the world, help destroy it, or let it be. Your actions affect us all.
Note: Try to be original in characters. Using pre-made characters from the game will be deleted.

Micheals mind went back to when Xantam mumbled his tanks to him. He felt slightly better about the whole situation now that Xantam was on a medical table.
The female doctor was already removing peices of the power armor. Micheal rushed over to assist. Micheal was relatively unscathed other than a few cuts, and bruised from when shrapnel from the chairs in the church hit him. Miniscule compared to the others. Once the armor was off, all that remained was the merc armor. two wounds, one was below the sternum, bleeding profusely. Micheal put his ear down to Xantam's mouth. Breathing is strange, the second puncture may have collapsed a lung.
"The top puncture wound is a collapsed lung. The other needs to get closed. I'll work on the one below the sternum, you work on the lung." Micheal instructed as he treated the top wound with a quick stim to speed up Xantams healing process. Micheal stitched up the wound below the sternum, and placed a gauss bandage on the wound. Micheal and the other doctor both met up on the lung, and assesed the problem. For a few minutes they stitched and sealed the wound, trying to minimize internal bleeding with stims.
As they got done Micheal brushed some sweat off of his forehead. He simply nodded to the doctor, and thanked her. She seemed perplexed as to why it was Micheal thanking her. Before any more words could be said Micheal announced he would help keept watch. If they needed Micheal all they would have to do is yell for him. Micheal exited the shack, and began to scour the village for any more stragglers.

Micheal managed to tell that the one who was attaching him was a raider by the looks of his hands. Rough and scarred. Not green, or mutilated like a ghouls. Micheal elbowed the raider in the side of his head dazing him for a few moments. Micheal managed to roll onto his back only to see the deadly gleam of a knife descending on him. With the sleight of hand only a thief could have Micheal raised his hand, and managed to block the knife with his hand. The piece of cutlery tore through Micheal's palm. Micheal yelled in pain, determined to kill the raider he retaliated by punching the raider in the side of the head three times, each time harder than the last. When the raider was completely out of it Micheal finished him with a quick bullet to the chest.
Micheal pushed the raider off with his good hand, and got to his feet. The raider gasped, his eyes bulging out as he looked down Micheal's revolver barrel. Micheal's revolver slowly went down, his forehead furrowed in conflict.
"God knows you deserve this bullet, but...." Micheal grunted as he pulled the knife out of his hand. He threw knife over his shoulder. He roughly lifted the raider to his feet, and exited the house. The raider clutched his chest as Micheal dragged him to the main gate. Micheal shoved the raider onto the ground outside of the town.
"If I see you again, I will kill you." Micheal warned the raider. He looked up at Micheal, and stumbled away into the darkness of the tunnels, still clutching his bleeding chest wound. Micheal looked down at his left hand, wincing as he did so. It was bleeding more than he was used to. Instead of sitching it, he simply dressed it with some bandages. It sounded weird, but Micheal didn't want to get some stitching supplies from the medical shack. He felt that he would be fine without the stitches for the time being. Plus the stitching supplies was probably dwindling even as Micheal immersed himself in his wound. He made his way back to the shack, and informed the remaining town guard that their stations were safe for the time being.
Now its a waiting game
