Introduction

It is a land of myth, and of magic. It is a land of power, and of promise. It is a land of fantasy, and of freedom.
In Fantasim Land, you can come in contact with your wildest dreams, your most incredible fantasies… or your darkest nightmares. And unfortunately, this seems to be the case.
Fantasim Land was created by a powerful Light-Earth fairy. Her name was Eve. Eve Lightearth was the first Queen of Fantasim Land. Since then, the world has been a prosperous haven of magic and refuge for those magical creatures of the world. All creatures were accepted here - fairies and mermaids, vampires and werewolves, witches and elves...
As the land thrived and the world grew, Eve passed on the title of Queen to her daughter. And then to her granddaughter, and then her great-granddaughter was Queen. The people loved and trusted the Lightearth Queens, and they remained in absolute power.
For as long as anyone can remember, Fantasim Land has been ruled by the powerful Lightearth Queens. Magnificent and beautiful, these women were good, kind, loving rulers. They nurtured and cared for their Kingdom and their people, and Fantasim Land thrived.
Everything was green. Everything was beautiful. The people were happy. They rejoiced and celebrated. People came from far and wide, seeking freedom and prosperity, happiness and love. Things couldn't possibly be better for the glorious Kingdom.
However, as things tend to do, things went wrong.

Everything seemed perfectly normal within Fantasim Land. The young princess Ophelia had just become Queen, and all was going normally. That is, all went normally until a troupe of castle guards stormed the inn, arresting all those who resisted and setting fire to the place. The fire was quickly extinguished, and panicked citizens hurried to the castle to report the incident to the Queen. Ophelia just laughed, though, and those who reported it were thrown in prison.
It only got worse. Soon, guards were terrorising the people. Much of the city was burned and charred. Many people were executed, thrown in prison, or banished to the dark woods. Children were stolen, homes were raided, and much of the Kingdom's beauty was destroyed. The people lived in terror each day.
With the birth of Queen Ophelia's daughter, Kiara, people began to live each day with hope. Perhaps young Kiara would overthrow her mother. Perhaps young Kiara would restore peace to the land. But she didn't. If anything, Kiara was even worse than her mother. The people were cold, hungry, and miserable.

Queen Ophelia soon passed away. Kiara was assassinated by a rebel force, though the rebels were quickly overthrown by the Queen's army. Kiara's teenage daughter, Cassandra, was crowned Queen.
Now, Cassandra rules the Kingdom. Nobody is quite certain what kind of a Queen she will be, though. Were the influences of her mother and grandmother too powerful for her to be a good Queen? Will a positive influence arrive and change the Queen? Or perhaps a negative influence, one to worsen her even more? Nobody's sure, but one thing is for certain: There's hope yet for the young Queen.
There are several different locations within Fantasim Land. All locations are available to all members, and all of them have some perks…but some might be a little dangerous. Or, perhaps, a lot dangerous. Please take care to only post within location threads; the "Fantasim Land" location contains old content and is no longer active.
The Castle – Located right in the middle of the bustling town, Queen Cassandra’s palace is magnificent, glorious, and symbolic. Filled with a rich history, marvellous décor, and twisting corridors, the castle has housed the Royal Lightearth family for generations, spanning millennia. The current Lightearth Queen, Queen Cassandra, resides in this castle now. However, she is not to be tampered with. Her grandmother, Queen Ophelia, was a very wicked woman and she taught young Cassandra her ways. By entering the castle, you may risk your own life - but it is the only way to meet with the Queen.
The Inn – Bustling with people of all shapes and sizes, the inn is the late-night place to be. In the inn, everyone is equal. Visitors and citizens without housing arrangements can rent a room, grab some drinks, or meet new people. Tear up the dance floor if you want to, but watch that you don’t offend anyone, or perhaps a fight might break out… Guards frequent this location, and it is a popular place for the Queen's terrorism, so it could easily be a dangerous place to stay.
Hot Springs – A beautiful temple once stood around the steaming pools of natural sparkling water. Now, though, they simply sit on the edge of town, surrounded by a few trees and lush green grass. They are a place to bathe, a place to relax, or a place to sit with friends and loved ones and socialize. It is relatively safe and untouched by the carnage within the city...for now...
Royal Gardens – Once regal and magnificent, these gardens held thousands of different types of flowers. Now, though, it is a barren wasteland, like the hearts of the wicked Queens.
Cemetery – In Fantasim Land, all those who have passed lie in the town cemetery, located right on the edge of town against the walls that keep evils outside. The millennia of Lightearth fairies that have ruled over Fantasim Land rest in one crypt, while all habitants rest beneath graves of their own. It is an eerie, spooky place, typically filled with an odd green fog and perfect for witches to perform rituals. It remains relatively unchanged, despite the rule of the wicked Queen.
School – The school of Fantasim Land is a place of learning for all the youngsters of the kingdom. It is small, sure, with only five rooms and a little playground, and though it once was warm and welcoming and full of teachers eager to help you learn, it is now a very dismal place. Children learn their skills, but they do so in a very dull and dreary way. Furthermore, guards and soldiers frequent this location, snatching up children to work as servants or soldiers for the Queen.
Town Square – Located right outside the castle, Town Square was once known for its beautiful, massive fountain centre-piece and busy cobblestone paths. People once came here from all over to sell their goods and to purchase services and goods for their own use. Now, though, it is a dreary place. The fountain has run dry and the elegant fairy standing in the centre of it has been destroyed. Her rubble fills the bowl of the fountain, a sad reminder of the world that once was.
Marketplace - What was once a bustling centre of commerce in the land has now dwindled to the bare minimum. Only a few shopkeepers can afford to stay open, and operating a shop or stall int he marketplace can be a risky business.
Waterfalls – The waterfalls are glorious to behold, and a very calm place to be. You can swim in the cool waters of the lake, perhaps even duck beneath the falls for a quick shower. You can sit on the edge with some friends and talk, or you can simply sit and watch the breathtaking natural waterfalls run their course. They are safe from the terrors of the city, though guards frequently come near during their patrols.
Dark Woods – These woods, on the western edge of the town, are very dark and mysterious. They are said to be the home of outcasts, those thrown from the city for their misdeeds. The Queen frequently banishes people to these woods. They are an excellent place for vampires to feed, or for witches to cast their spells, but those who enter must watch out, for many stories are told within the town of sims entering the woods…and never coming out…
Sunny Forest – On the eastern side of the town is a forest opposite from the Dark Woods. These woods stream in sunshine and are filled with sweet fairies, pixies, and even some unicorns! It is eternally day in this forest, and the sunlight never goes away! It is a small haven, especially within the wreckage and pain of Fantasim Land.
Rumbly Mountains – The mountain range is north of the town, and though it is a bit of a trek, it is absolutely breathtaking to behold. Dragons inhabit these mountains, and sometimes when you visit you can even meet a dragon, though they are often very antisocial towards those from the town. The mountains themselves, meanwhile, are magnificent, tall, and rocky. It is cold at the peaks, surely, but beautiful and worth seeing. Perhaps, if you wander in far enough, you might come across some ancient caverns, or a small volcano...
Unicorn Meadow – Located just off the Sunny Forest, this is a flowery meadow full of, well, unicorns! Unfortunately, the Queen's wicked ways have left the unicorns struggling to survive, and constantly running from hunters.
Ocean’s Shore – The sea is located south of the town, and it is wide and vast. The salty waves crash against the sandy shore of the beach and the smell of the air makes for a relaxing ambience. In the sunlight, the beach is fun and energetic, and when the pure white moon reflects off the sea, it’s very calm and romantic, a perfect getaway for you and your friends or loved ones.
Battlefield – Many a battle have been fought on these barren wastelands, with so few trees and plants growing. The rocky ground is cold and harsh, and many people come here often to remember those who have been lost.

((Sorry I took so long and wrote so little. I had a hectic holiday and then managed to come down with a horrible case of the flu. I've felt like ive been hit by a truck the last few days.))
Katzi squinted in the darkening light and pulled her hood up over her head. It was getting a little bit chilly in the forest, the closeness of the trees making the sunlight only trickle in.
((That's all good ^_^ Hope you get better soon!! Being sick is no fun lol))
"It would be nice," she agreed softly. She gently took his hand. "We can go and sit in the garden if you like, or we can open up my bedroom window and look at the stars from there. My bedroom window covers the entire wall, just like the one in the throne room, so it's more than big enough." She grinned at him sweetly, her pretty green eyes sparkling.
((Aww, I hope you're feeling better! In my family, instead of feeling like we've been hit by a truck, we say we feel like we've been hit by a bus...because my mum is a bus driver... XD))

"Good evening," she replied with a smile. "Your dog seems quite inquisitive."
Hell slowed and crept cautiously as trees started to thin and show signs of burning. His fur spiking up along his spine down to the tip of his tail.
((Took some time but finally feeling better. Sorry again about not replying quickly. Lol which is worse hit by a truck or by a bus lol))
"Speak, woman. Why have you entered our woods again when you brought so much destruction last time? And why," he sneered "have you brought a dog with you?" The other two growled beside him as they glared at the two.
Katzi gulped, her voice seemingly frozen as she tried to think.
((That's all good I'm glad you're better :3))
Hell growled deep in his throat, baring his teeth in a very canine fashion. "Who do you think you are calling a dog when you still have to get naked to shift. It's dogs like you that make real wolves look barbaric. " His hand found its rest on the hilt of his blade with out his intention.

"I say we gut the bitch, Garret died protecting her so I don't see why we should let her live." She clenched her fists and glared at the blue-haired girl. Katzi shifted backwards with a small wimper.
The second male crossed his arms, he had long black hair that covered most of his face. "Hush Nya. You know as well as the rest of us that her family has protection from our pack."
"Enough you two. Katzi what it? I remember from last time. Why are you here?" This time he completely ignored Hell.
Katzi gulped and looked around at the clearing. "I uh.... didn't get the help I needed last time I think I need to um...speak to your...leader?"
Something in the first mans eyes shifted and he gazed at her curiously before turning to Hell. "She doesn't seem capable of answering our questions. Wolf, Our 'leader' was severly wounded in the last battle protecting this girl. Why are you with her?"
"I am--"
"Katzi. Yes we know very well who you are young on, you have been here before just as your mother before you has. You family long ago established a truce with us and I'll be damned if I break it now." He sighed and scratched his chin in thought. "Very well, you both will come with me, I am quite curious as to why you do not seem to remember us. Hell did you say? Do make sure that our little human can keep up." He shifted again and all three of them walked back into the trees they had come from, sending a yip to the two in the clearing. Katzi gulped.
"I don't understand..." she muttered before staring at the ground a moment. "But I feel like I'm running out of time." Without another though she ran blindly in the direction of the wolves.
The setting changes from Fantasim Land to The Castle
Cassandra sat upon the uncomfortable golden throne of the castle throne room, struggling to wrap her head around what had transpired in the last two days. Her mother, the Queen of this land, had died. It had been sudden and unexpected - the work of an assassin. Somebody who was clearly skilled and obviously knew what they were doing. With no ruler, the guards and servants had turned to Cassandra, asking her to take her new position as Queen.
The seat felt foreign beneath her and she was continually shifting positions. In the time since she'd become Queen of Fantasim Land, she'd been presented with at least a dozen questions from her staff. Her mother had kept no advisors, but Cassandra longed to have an advisor of her own, somebody who actually knew a thing or two about how to rule. All Cassandra knew was what her mother had taught her: be cruel, be harsh, and make sure they know who's in charge.
That turned out well for her, though...
Cassandra's pale fingers curled around the arm of the throne. She could feel her leg quivering, and she was certain that the guards were eyeing her suspiciously. There were two guards present in the throne room at all times, watching over her and protecting the entrance to her chambers. They had been her mother's chambers before her, and she'd slept in a room elsewhere in the castle, but since becoming Queen, they'd become her chambers. They felt just as foreign and unfamiliar to her as the throne did - in fact, her chambers almost felt forbidden. Her mother's clothes were still in the closet, though she and the servants were working on emptying the closet a little at a time, making space for Cassandra's own clothing.
Now, there was nothing for her to do but sit. She could order the guards and servants around, but there was nothing she wanted or needed. She was still trying to get settled in her new role, and not quite comfortable asking large favours of her staff. It still seemed odd to call them her staff, even, but they were. These people worked for her in her castle. They were meant to guard and protect her, and to serve her. She'd grown up with them around, so why did they feel like strangers to her? And the people of the Kingdom, they were even more like strangers to her. She didn't meet with the people, didn't socialize with them.
All she knew about her people and the kingdom was what her mother and grandmother had taught her: the people are there to serve you, and the people don't matter. She wasn't meant to care about them or their lives. They would come to her when they had problems, she was told, but their problems weren't supposed to be important to her, and she wasn't expected to fix things in the city. None had come, though, so she hadn't yet really had the opportunity to gauge just what kinds of problems they would bring before her.
The setting changes from The Castle to The Inn
As he used stealth to get around the city, he looked around for any large groupings of guards that would cause him too much trouble. John could take a couple guards but if they called for backup he would be overwhelmed quickly. In truth he wasn’t even sure the guards knew to look for him, but it was better for him to be careful then locked up or worse. He looked down at his sword at his waist,
“I’ll die before I let them take me.” He said resolutely.
He wondered what to do next. As John continued down the street past the main plaza in the center of town he looked over his shoulder one last time to make sure he wasn’t being followed. To the best of his knowledge there was no one there. About twenty feet in front of him was an inn he had known since he was little. John debated whether it was a good idea to go in or if it would be too dangerous. It was beginning to turn dark out, and the tavern part was getting livelier. Due to how tired he was getting he shrugged off his suspicion. As he opened the large wooden door of the inn with a loud creak he could hear boisterous laughter of the patrons. He almost thought his entrance into the inn would make more of a commotion, but his fears were unfounded. He took a quick glance around the tavern and conveniently the front desk was near the door. He walked over to the innkeeper which was clearly preoccupied thumbing through a large leather-bound book. The man was a bit large with unkempt hair and a small pencil goatee. John cleared his throat to get the man’s attention.
“Ah-hmm.” John said as to get the man’s attention.
“Yes?” The man said without even looking up from the book.
“I’d like a room for the night.” He said putting ten gold coins on the table.
Without looking up the innkeeper took the coins and put them in a pouch behind the counter.
“Name?” He said.
Luckily, he had thought of a name to use before he attempted this transaction.
“John Lightheart.” He said without hesitation.
The innkeeper wrote something in his book and handed the knight a key.
“Room 13, up the stairs to the right. It’ll be on your left,” He said, finally looking at John.
John took the key and went straight to his room. He wasn’t sure if the innkeeper knew who he was but there wasn’t much he could do about it, he couldn’t go back home now. His house was still in tatters and his father’s blood still lay on the floor. He opened the door to room 13 and walked over to the oil lamp on the table. John lit the lamp and set it down, then went back to the door. He shut and locked the old wooden door, took his pack from over his shoulder and set it on the floor. John took off his sword belt and placed it in arms reach of the bed. He was so tired, and he would have a very dangerous thing he had to do tomorrow. As soon as his body hit the bed he passed out, not even caring enough to take his armor off.
