"Don't get me wrong, I still have the instinct to haul you out to a window and shove you through it. But its masked and faded." He smiled, because he was partly joking, though the upturn of his lips was cold, lacking any warmth or humour, but that barely mattered as the other angel missed the gesture with his back being turned to Luce.
"The name is Lucien, by the way," He added, digging his hands into the deep pockets of his trousers now that he did not know what to do with them.
Luce gave a forced smile, "It's not every day I meet an angel whose had their wings...well...you know. Its all I can do," He shrugged.
"Anyway, I'd better leave you to it. I've got to make sure no one's nicked my pack, and then book a room," He explained, crossing his arms over his chest, fingers tapping out a tuneless melody on his forearm as he calculated how much money he exactly did have on him (enough to pay, thankfully), then considering his opinions in the ways of work for his specific skill set (He had been a blacksmith upon his way into the village, and perhaps the women could use some deft hands for crafting?). His wings practically bristled with the prospects of remaining in one place for more than a short week.
Understanding that he is not alone, Lucien perked up again, "Will you be remaining here? With them?" He gestured
Lucien hummed his understanding, slinking from the bathroom with all the stealth he could muster with bulky wings protruding no matter how tight he folded them. Squeezing through the room doorway and disappearing into the hallway, he made his way down the wooden stairs entering ,once again, the alcohol laden main hallway. Collecting his things from the shadowy, forgotten corner, Luce fished out his few coins, which he used to pay from his meal and a room.
