Job and Magic Abilities

Level 1
Intuitive Magic
A White Mage can use her spellcasting abilities for other purposes.

Level 1
Cure – 5 MP
An iridescent spark of blue light spirals around the target, trailing glowing specks in its wake. Cure restores (1.5 x M.DEF)

Level 3
Aero – 7 MP
A vicious gust of wind assails the target, tearing into it with razorsharp debris. Aero inflicts (1.5 x M.ATK) Wind Elemental damage.

Level 5
Poisona – 3 MP
A slurry of dull purple spheres washes over and through the length of the target, canceling all Toxin-type Status Conditions currently afflicting it.

Level 7
Elemental Guard - 10 MP
Strings of luminous violet light encircle the target, trailing long streaks of mystical energy as they orbit before vanishing. Element Guard bestows the status Condition Element Resist (6); the caster must specify which Element is affected when casting the Spell. Additional castings of Element Guard may add additional Elements; casting Element Guard for an Element the target already has a Resistance towards, however, will not produce any additional effect. Grants the target (1x Caster's M.ATK) as M.DEF when targeted by a spell with the called elemental.

Level 9
Blink - 10 MP
Fluorescent rays of magical energy twist in complicated spirals around the target, distorting vision and light to bestow the Status Condition Blink. The combatant phases between solid and immaterial states at
random intervals, increasing their ability to escape attack. Targeted starts with 3 evasions. If the gm rolls 1-3 the target will evade a attack completely regardless of what it is. Blink last 6 post.

Level 11
Fade – 18 MP
A blazing pillar of light issues forth from the ground beneath the target, growing skywards until the victim is wholly consumed by its sacred power. Fade inflicts (3 x M.ATK) Holy Elemental damage.

Level 13
Faith – 15 MP
A translucent shield of gold encloses the target, slowly rotating as golden motes dance around it in graceful circles to bestow the Status Conditions Armor Up (4) and Mental Up (4).

Level 15
Stona – 10 MP
Needles of rainbow light stab into the target, showering dust as stone cracks and splinters under the onslaught. Stona cancels the Status Conditions Stone and Petrify.

Level 17
Aera – 22 MP
Howling green winds encircle the target, drawing together in an ever-tightening funnel of air before disappearing. Aera inflicts (4.5 x M.ATK) Wind Elemental damage.

Level 19
Cura – 20 MP
Twin specks of glowing green light twine around the target, trailing a dusting of soothing magical energy to restore (3 x M.DEF) Hit Points.

Level 21
Protect – 20 MP
Four dull-blue crystalline shapes wink into existence around the target in perfect symmetry, glowing as they radiate a barrier of magical energy to bestow the Status Condition Protect. Grants the target (2xVIT) as P.DEF.

Level 23
Silence – 22 MP
A shining sigil appears under the target amidst a flurry of yellow lights, flashing white before fading away again. Target can not cast anything for 5 turns. If gm rolls a 1, it goes away earlier. Can not be used on bosses.

Level 25
Basuna – 36 MP
A gentle mist of green and gold blows over the target, canceling the Status Conditions Berserk, Blind, Poison, Sleep, and Zombie.

Level 27
Raise – 38 MP
Spirals of twinkling red light encircle the target, showering it with a gentle drift of ghostly, radiant feathers. Raise restores any target whose current HP is 0 or lower to 10% of their maximum HP. Undead monsters targeted by Raise – as well as combatants affected by the Status Condition Zombie – will not be revived; if their current Hit Points are greater than 0, they will instantly reduced to 0 HP, regardless of current HP, ARM or M. ARM values, or the Damage Cap. Does work on bosses but if undead it deals (15x M.ATK)

Level 29
Shell – MP 30
Twelve pearls of softly-glowing light enclose the target in twinned hexagons, adding the Status Condition Shell. Grants the target (2xMAG) as M.DEF.

Level 31
Dispel – 43 MP
A shimmering blue mist engulfs the target, its power tearing away beneficial enchantments in an instant except shield.

Level 33
Aeraga – MP 60
Lashing tendrils of wind wrap around the targets, forming a howling vortex that mercilessly spins and tumbles its captives about before finally relinquishing its grasp. Aeraga inflicts (7.5 x M.ATK) Wind Elemental damage.

Level 35
Curaga – MP 55
A brilliant constellation of blue and violet light encircles the target’s body, restoring (9 x M.DEF) HP before fading away.

Level 37
Banish – 65 MP
Beams of blazing white light saturate the area, touching off a chain of searing explosions which tears through all targets in short succession. Banish inflicts (7.5 x M.ATK) Holy Elemental damage.

Level 39
Protectra – 50 MP
Gray-blue crystals of magical energy form around the party, raising a protective barrier to grant them the Status Condition Protect.

Level 41
Esuna – 67 MP
Beams of warm violet light emerge from the ground around the target, cleansing away all debilitating magics and malicious enchantments. Esuna cures any negative Status Conditions, except those explicitly stated to be immune to its effects.

Level 43
Shellga – 65 MP
A chain of ghostly pearls twines around the party; a moment later, thin links of magical energy join them together in a series of elaborate hexagons, granting the Status Condition Shell.

Level 45
Vanish – 77 MP
Four ghostly mirrors with surfaces like mercury flash into existence around the target, rapidly spinning until they – and the target – disappear, granting the Status Condition Vanish. The combatant is turned completely transparent, rendering them invisible for all intents and purposes. Combatants affected by Vanish may not be targeted by normal Attacks, Spells or Abilities, though they will still take damage if the Group or Party they belong to is targeted; attacks with the ‘All’ designation will also affect them.

Level 47
Arise – 100 MP
Glowing particles of light shower down on the target, raising up a beam of golden-red life force to revive it in a shower of fathers. Arise restores any target whose current HP is 0 or lower to 100% of their maximum HP. Undead monsters targeted by Arise – as well as combatants affected by the Status Condition Zombie – will not be revived; if their current Hit Points are greater than 0, they will instantly reduced to 0 HP, regardless of current HP, ARM or M. ARM values, or the Damage Cap. Does work on bosses but if undead it deals (30x M.ATK)

Level 49
Reflect – 85 MP
A shower of green light splashes over the target, solidifying into layer after layer of shimmering magical protection to grant the Status Condition Reflect. If casted on a targeted monster and he decides to target himself or if flees hit then the target will shoot the spells back in multiple directions as a AoE. Be sure to try and dodge.

Level 51
Renew – 110 MP
Brilliant blue lights descend onto the target, releasing a burst of radiant golden energy upon contact to restore the target’s HP to its maximum value. Undead monsters targeted by Renew – as well as combatants affected by the Status Condition Zombie – will not be revived; if their current Hit Points are greater than 0, they will instantly reduced to 0 HP, regardless of current HP, ARM or M. ARM values, or the Damage Cap. Does work on bosses but if undead it deals (30x M.ATK)

Level 53
Wall – 85 MP
Columns of radiant red light emerge from the ground around the target, rotating slowly as they wrap it in a shell of protective magic before disappearing, granting the Status Condition Wall. An invisible barrier of impenetrable force surrounds the combatant, nullifying physical attacks. Whenever a combatant under
the effects of Wall is struck by Physical damage or Elemental damage reduced by Armor, that damage is reduced to 0. Can only absord (50xVit)

Level 55
Resist - 85 MP
Multi-colored bubbles of magical energy surround the target, granting it the Status Condition Resist. The combatant is inoculated against all harmful and abnormal conditions. For as long as Resist remains in effect, the combatant is considered to have Immunity to all Fatal-type, Mystify-type, Sealtype, Time-type Toxin-type, Transform-type and Weaken-type Status Conditions. Last only Last only 3 post.

Level 57
Holy – 150 MP
Motes of brilliant blue light begin to circle the target, moving in a deceptively lazy fashion as they gain in intensity; as the light reaches blinding levels, beams of holy energy erupt from the ground, blasting the target in a series of powerful explosions. Holy inflicts (18 x M.ATK) Holy Elemental damage; unlike other White Spells, Holy is not affected by the Damage Cap and may exceed 999 damage.

Level 59
Rebirth – 175 MP
A golden, cloudy sunset hovers over the battlefield as rays of light strike the dead and wounded, gentle drifts of feathers falling in each beam’s wake. Rebirth restores all eligible targets whose current HP is 0 or lower to 50% of their maximum HP.

Level 61
Shield – 200 MP
Glowing fragments of golden energy converge on the target, forming the outlines of a shield over its body before disappearing in a flash of light to grant it the Status Condition Shield. The combatant is fully enclosed by a glittering dome of magical energy, essentially cutting them off from the general melee. For as long as the Shield remains active, all damage done to the combatant is automatically reduced to 0. All Status Conditions – positive or negative – and Recovery effects, Items included, are similarly nullified. Any preexisting Status Conditions are also nullified. Last absorbs (75xVIT) post.

Level 63
Whirlwind – 150 MP
A distant rumble is heard as the sky darkens and fierce winds begin to whip around the caster. As the gale picks up strength, a violent twister erupts from the sky, tearing through the immediate area without mercy. Whirlwind inflicts (16.5 x M.ATK) Winde;e,elemntal damage on all eligible targets.

Skills

DANCING - 20
Defaults Attribute: Agility (AGI) Type: Intuitive
A character with this skill can tell a waltz from a gavotte, and knows enough of the general etiquette and required steps to avoid mashing people’s toes in the process.

SINGING - 20
Default Attribute: Spirit (SPR) Type: Intuitive
While not everyone is born with the voice of an angel, careful training can make all the difference. Characters with this Skill know all about projection and range, and have at least a few melodies memorized at any given time.

COOKING - 15
Default Attribute: Magic (MAG) Type: Learned
Knowing haute cuisine may not improve one's reputation as a fearsome warrior, but when the alternative is another week's worth of dried meat, nobody's liable to complain. A character with this Skill knows how to prepare and identify all types of dishes with a successful Task Check. Often you can control this yourself but if a task check ever comes into play I'll let you know.

INQUIRY - 15
Default Attribute: Magic (MAG) Type: Intuitive
The location of an ancient tomb, an obscure local legend, the address of the nearest inn in town – characters with the Inquiry Skill are adept of digging up the information they need as quickly and painlessly as possible. One Task Check must be made for each piece of information the character wishes to locate; the amount of time spent searching can vary between half an hour and several days, depending on the breadth of resources available to the character. A failure simply means the character isn't able to locate the information and may continue trying, while a Botch means the information just isn't available – or that the search has ended in serious trouble. (I'll lead you through this as GM)

Language – Common Tongue - 24
The standard Human tongue, lingua franca on most worlds. Most, if not all, adventurers will be fluent in this language to one degree or another. This Skill is given to all starting characters, regardless of Job.

Language – Elvaan - 20
Complex and florid, Elvaan has its roots in antiquity. Like all other aspects of Elven culture, it is a source of racial pride and jealously guarded against dilution from outside sources.

Language – Vieran - 20
Highly similar to Elvaan language in this world which that said could be known that Vierans did encounter Elves when they arrived on Celnaria yet the relationship was so distant and forgotten that overtime it slowly branched off where elves made their own language and Vierans progressed.

Lore (History)- Celnaria - 15
General knowledge of key events in an area's known history, including dates, personalities, and other minutae. Further specialised by country or region.

Lore (Magic)- White - 25
Magic Lore gives the character a fundamental understanding of the principles of sorcery as well as the training to identify individual spells and enchantments. Further specialised by type: Black, White, Time, Spellblade, or Blue.

ETIQUETTE - 20
Default Attribute: Spirit (SPR) Type: Intuitive
This Skill gives a character the ability to act and speak diplomatically regardless of the circumstances, observing and respecting the sensibilities of others. A successful Task Check allows a character to discern the most appropriate code of conduct in a given situation, and act accordingly; a failure results in the character misinterpreting the situation, with potentially disasterous results. Botches will almost always result in a diplomatic gaffe of the first order.

INTIMIDATION - 20
Default Attribute: Spirit (SPR) Type: Intuitive
Intimidation and browbeating are powerful tools if used correctly, establishing the character as a force to be reckoned with – even if they aren't. A successful Task Check is required to intimidate a target, after which the character can make her demands; failure means the target is unimpressed. A Botch, on the other hand, could potentially result in a nasty turnabout.

NEGOTIATION - 25
Default Attribute: Spirit (SPR) Type: Intuitive
The fine art of getting your way. A character with this Skill can use their powers of persuasion to do anything from bartering for an item to convincing that troublesome Captain of the Guard that, no, they really aren’t an Imperial sympathizer, thank you all the same. Negotiation is always used in form of an Opposed Task Check; when making her Task Check, the player must first declare her 'offer' to the other party, who in turn roll against either their own Negotiation Skill or an appropriate Skill Default – the weight of the character's offer will determine the basic CoS.

HEALING - 10
Default Attribute: Magic (MAG) Type: Learned
A character with this Skill knows enough about the body and its workings to diagnose and treat most kinds of sickness and injury. A successful Task Check is required for a correct diagnosis; another for the treatment if the character has the means to carry it out. Failure in either could have drastic consequences for the patient. Healing can also enhance a party's natural recovery (This can be first aid as well)

CUDGELS - 6
Default Attribute: Agility (AGI) Type: Intuitive
This Skill covers weapons that inflict blunt as opposed to piercing or slashing damage, including Rods and Staves.

NAVIGATION - 25
Default Attribute: Magic (MAG) Type: Intuitive
By using landmarks, the stars, and other environmental features, a character with this Skill can travel from location to location without losing his way. In addition, the character's well-honed sense of direction can be a valuable asset in mazes and other confusing locales. One Task Check is required for the character to find his way; subsequent Task Checks may be required in the case of particularly long or complex routes.

Family Ties
Effect: The character has a claim to greatness or notoriety through ancestors, parents, children, siblings, or extended relatives whose names and deeds are widely known.

Though only jotted down in history – Following the family's tree, you'll see that Mobobo is actually sixth generation of her family. Unlike her the other generations of the family and due to the fact that she is female she is could very well be seen as the last of the great sorceror's bloodline. To her regrets if they could've been help she didn't marry nor found the one who “deserves” her love, therefore has not bared anyones child. She is of course not reknowned and known due to the fact of many generations passed yet many other races do notibly speak of him if they lived that long but relatively do not “treasure” and smother her as if she were a princess.

Image

Allegiance
Effect: The character belongs to a group or organization that may be capable of helping her out during the course of her travels – a mercenary group, a band of thieves, loyal vassals of a king or kingdom.

Although she has left the Vidarian Mage Council, she claims to have strong ties with it. She was once the white wizard hence is why she has the robe to prove it. This also leads to her having quite some ties to the Mage college.

Ally
Effect: The character has an ally – a partner, a mentor, a loyal servant, or simply a good friend – they can lean on in times of trouble. Specify who the ally is and what their relationship is based on when choosing this Trait.

Although as much dislike that the roegadyn shows for Mobobo, It can't be helped that Impa will at times help her Mentor when need be. It could notibly be shown that there is a rivalry going on now that Impa is white wizard yet to Mobobo, she often is quick and this leads to Impa saying she hates her which was even said during the time she was her mentor but deep down therre is love for one another in a good friend type of way.

Contacts
Effect: The character has been knocking around long enough to pick up friends, acquaintances and contacts almost everywhere in the world; not always in the highest or most exalted of positions, but almost always useful in the right sort of situation.

Being in the the high council, She had many run ins and meetings with other kingdoms, especially Alexander. All nation leaders know her but this doesn't mean they're willing to help her all the time. As much friend's as Mobobo has, it could be well said she has 2x as much enemies.

Fame
Effect: No matter where you go, it seems like everybody knows who you are – and what you’ve done. While the baying throngs awaiting you at each and every town may be good for the ego, the wellwishers aren’t the only ones taking an interest.

Being known as this generation's “White Wizard” is one thing but it is said that in her thirty three years of living compared to the high priestess. She is most likely more powerful then Maloven was a hundred and fifty years ago, comparably. In addition she's a taru.. Although Taru's are incredibly great at magic and learn quicker then anyone. They are rarely on the council due to their short lifespan. One main factor that brings her fame is the fact that she herself LEFT the council without explaining why. Which was written down in Vidarian history.

Image

Charismatic
Effect: Whether it’s through good looks, riveting oratory, or blind animal magnetism – a Charismatic character has the uncanny ability to wrap people around her little finger in no time flat.

Beauty
Effect: While the definition of 'attractive' continues to be hotly debated in pubs the world over, a character with this Advantage taps into some timeless, universal standard of beauty that never quite goes out of fashion.

Appearance

Being a tarutaru of Celnaria, Our adorable little white mage stands to .8 meters which is about 2.8 feet. In weigh, she of course is quite light and easily moved as every tarutaru is being 32 kg (53 lbs). As far as skin complexion and color go, she is actually dark/tanned skin compared to the picture I placed as a reference. Her eye colors are interesting. The left eye is bright red as her right is light green. Her hair color resembles that in which is in the picture yet is a light purple. (Will create her and post the picture lol – WITH GEAR)

As far as gear goes, ever since leaving the council she is in more of the vidarian clothing. Not rags yet not too noble either. Her cloak flows down slightly passed her waist as her slacks then fall to the ground. As an undershirt – it is a black vest. She does wear earrings as well and often a necklace. Although she prefers her “old” boots, she wears the leather boots of made of the strong raptor leather.

Although rarely she is seen to have it on, it is no secret that in her bag and on occassions, she will wear her old White Wizard clothing. The only reason she doesn't is because it draws too much unwanted attention in which often she blows off as much as she can. These robes resemble to picture entirely being the classic and legendary White mage traditional clothing. In this campaign wearing traditional uniforms means you hold/held very high standings in the world for some classes. Mainly the mages.
Image
Personality

As cute as our little white mage may and seem. The word cute can't be said for what she is on the inside. This tarutaru by her zodiac can be quite independent, quick to anger, violent, courageous, Eager. From her passed, Mobobo was taught to never hold back and often took these to heart at young age. She was always eager to find out the truth and if something stood in her way, her anger kicked in. As she grew up, did tend to cloister herself way from others and was quite keen to know things others did not. This made her often go against many principles laid on her showing her to be very courageous which in fact was shown when she left the council. An amazing act, especially for a Tarutaru.

With this nature comes some of her stereotypical blood type traits that fall onto her, although not as ambitious as she seems unless hidden, she does actually have high hopes for particular things that will happen to her. Some in which may or may not come true during this roleplay but most of those ambitions come in on the spot which is why she rarely thinks of them in a long run. Her personality could be shown as robust in will due to the fact she is not one to back down and is often the one to show no mercy. Many people have noticed this, her personality being the type to mess and fool with peoples minds, breaking them down as she herself sits and laughs not taking insults but reflecting them. The laughter only is a symbol of her self-confidence, some people could say that it has never been shown from one person so much confidence. In almost any situation her will or fear isn't shown yet this doesn't mean that she doesn't have any fear but she tries her best not to show it and remain positive. Which often comes down to her being vain or in other words conceited. Even before being known as a white wizard, she was one who teased and had quite a conceited personality towards those lesser then her. She herself knew she had a lot of power and therefore came down to her ways of teasing, which comes down to her being insensitive to others feelings. She'll say what she wants, regardless if people want to hear it or not and has no reason to be otherwise or so she feels. Her teases can be quite cruel if not completely racist even towards her own kind. Which comes down to being ruthless, never giving others a second chance and if she does, its never her choice and would rather disposal them after the task is done. This can often be shown if she shows certain hatred towards someone... if one is dying she wont revive them if they were on her list. She herself is actually quite arrogant too which comes down to her believing “Care for yourself before others”. If she is close or knows the person well then she will MAYBE do something to help but if nothing benefits her then no way.

Other then such, Mobobo is actually pretty fun when dancing and singing. On top of that she is very intelligent when it comes to Languages and often tries her best to keep up with the history of Celnaria. In addition, she is well on her way with social skills which some people hate because she can be right and be a complete jerk at the same time. On this note she is great on navigation. She is worth it to be on a team, just hope she's not too much to handle.

History

Birth

Until now, for five generations Maloven was known as one of the most powerful black mages to have ever lived hence the family on this note felt as if they had to continue the legacy and not just in any magic but in black magic. It was well – Known that the family was only into black magic after Maloven died yet the dire truth was that no one could successfully succeed him and often even when it came down to the choice of a new “Black Wizard” their family was never chosen. The hopes were falling and even the off branches of the family who came in felt it was time for the main branch to stop until the newest child was born. The reason it seemed this child was special was because of the magic source among the child. It was said she was chosen, special, and harnassed a lot of magic, close to if not more then Maloven ever weilded in his youth. This in itself said by the High Priestess mad the family extremely happy yet the information that she had held was the future. Although as ever high priestess, she was unsure if such things were true but felt the achievement would come none-the-less and their families grateness would return. No one knew how Mobobo's story would unfold...

Age 1-3: Young and Learning

It wasn't long after being born when Mobobo was actually learning by the age. Life went by as if it were normal until the age of two when she learned and became to the least of poor in common language which was highly spoken around her family. This was expanded of course as years went by. Nothing else was really taught other then her fondness of dancing by her mother who had the curse of speaking in rhymes at the end. Mobobo had talked in such a way as well which only came later when she begin speaking properly. Originally her parents taught her when they had the time and she herself would often read alone which is obviously quite impressive even for a Tarutaru. This continued until her mother left the mage college to further expand her daughters knowledge upon the world.

Age 4-5: Home Schooled In Magic

When her mother came back becoming a mother fulltime, Mobobo began learning how to cook and expand her knowledge in life in general. She expanded her mind to the idealogy of many things. One of which was language. This was an interesting factor seeing that she herself was at an average speaking level already. It was only enhanced when a close family friend who was alive for most of their generation approached them. It was through a request that she learned Vieran and not a request by her mother but herself. The knowledge flowed into her like it did with the common human language yet a little slower and for a good reason to. The age finally hit when Mobobo had to learn the basics of magic. She was excited but noticed everything was black magic. Although untouched black magic never did interest her in the long run. It wasn't long until the tarutaru learned of the seven elements Fire, Earth, Water, Wind, Ice, Dark, Holy and their meaning behind the spells. This continued for many years.

Age 6-9: Learning her history and the beginning of mage college

When Mobobo hit the age of six she was on the college level black magic 1 taught by her parents and the nature behind it. It wasn't any secret but as her studies developed so did her personality. She began to become the girl we know today. Her mind was to herself in the right place ambitious, eager and on the right path yet something bothered her as she grew up and that was “Why?”. The word passed through her head during this age as if she were in her teens like a human or other creatures with longer longivity. Yet these whys could be of importance. “Why, Black Magic when there is so much out there? Why does it seem like this family is strictly for the black mages? Why does it feel like I am lacking information or ideas are withheld from me?” and so on. It only came time where Mobobo had her mother take her to Gaia's library where there she read up on the history of her family since Maloven only to finally understand it. The reason it lead to the library was because Mobobo's mother mentioned something about her being a legacy child. She wanted to ask her father but he sadly was never there which in circumstances she stopped caring about him sadly. After reading up on her history she wasn't quite sure of what she believed in and if in truth she probably believes what she currently does now. It wasn't long until the white wizard suddenly approached the family only recognize Mobobo. In a way the white wizard feared her but was amazed none the less due to her incredible mind. It wasn't long after conversing for quite some time that the madam known as “Lady Bell” decided in their best interest to enroll Mobobo into Gaia's college. Normally Taru's join the college at fifteen but the proof that the woman had was undeniable especially when she was basically seeing a legacy child of the great sorcerer with such an amazing mindset. Mobobo obviously accepted and attended the semester after the current. It was at the age of eight when she stepped into the large college yet even then and after that explanation she had something in the back of her mind that just wasn't letting go. “A legacy child” she couldn't stand being called that yet didn't express it until it was too late...

Age 10-12: Black Magic, I refuse it!

When Mobobo hit the age of ten, It came of age when her mother had began to come down ill from old age. She was nearly to the end and Mobobo constantly had to cut a few classes to tend to her at times. The tarutaru could barely stand and the first time in a long time her father returned to aid his wife. Mobobo couldn't help but yell at him. It was at this point when she broke the habbit of rhyming at the end of her sentences. The reason for yelling was because he never visited and such. The father had an excuse yet the argument continued until her mother stopped it. It was then when she finally got mad at her mother from being explained that he was doing It to make things easier, knowing she was the legacy child. This was the last straw. After an argument facing her parents she had enough and left saying “I am no legacy... I am Mobobo, your child... If you want a legend then keep your eyes open as I.. Reject black magic”. This did not make her parents happy at all and eventually came to Mobobo leaving her household to live among Gaia and it was then that she confronted Lady Bell asking her to personally train her to be a white mage. Though she wondered in her mind why she was doing this... It also struck an interest to see the one of maloven's blood going white mage then black. It made her incredibly curious so she accepted taking her in as a pupil and being her mentor and trainer. In addition to many of the staffs attention they were very surprised by this change seeing Mobobo taking classes in the art of White Magic which all came to how the child rewrote her own legacy.

Age 13-16: Overcoming the art of white magic and her legacy rewritten!

It had been a few months and over those months Mobobo had grown older being thirteen. The tarutaru didn't bother to see her parents because she figured they wouldn't be happy of her achievements regardless. The taru had been astounding as she learned the ways of white magics. It wasn't long until her intense magic was showing. Only the wizards noticed this but never spoke of it. They called her a legacy of her own kind but kept it from her so she wouldn't get too angry. It came to be three years later of incredible training that Mobobo had learned the art of white magic and became quite accustom to it. She then graduated among this very time from showing such knowledge and ability.

Age 20: I'm a professor

It had been four years since graduation yet that wasn't where her studies ended and that much was obvious. Cloistering herself often for days to enhance her white magic beyond limit. The tarutaru only came out to get sunlight and eat. On occasion she would also go meet up with the white wizard for Vidarian tea which was always pleasant. It always interested her but she did wonder how her rents were time to time... Her mother only visited her once a month if not two and often the meetings were brief only to say come “home and lie” in the true meaning behind it. It was obvious at this point though that Mobobo considered herself a woman and at that point she believed it to be true from seven years ago. She had no reason to go back them since she had what she wanted and was accepted for it and to her knowledge at least wasn't being seen as a legacy.

It had finally came the time when Mobobo was given the access and job of being the professor of White Art or at least one of them. Her life was rather calm until word came in when her parents have died. It was said that they had been trying to contact her for awhile about the situation since the father passed but nothing came in. Interestingly she was kind of sad but she treated it as a passing moment for what they nearly made her go through against her will. The white wizard confronted her about it but she claimed that “They were only the stepping stool of my real potential...” other then that classes were taught strict and even in live demonstration Mobobo was quite fearsome.

Age 21-25: I'm also a mentor

As classes moved along an interesting student came along. Her name was Impa as a Roegadyn she registered to go among the path of a white mage which was rare for her people but possible. It came to be quite an interesting sight especially when Impa watched and studied her teacher constantly. It wasn't long until personally the roegadyn asked Mobobo if she could have her as a mentor and be her apprentice. Mobobo accepted only because of her determination and the two studied with each other or more like she taught Impa most of what she knew but there was much wiser things in mind that she never revealed not even to the white wizard herself. It wasn't until five years later when they had to go a little bit of separated ways just due to the fact of the next big event to happen.

Age 26: The event of history (Becoming the White Wizard)

Everything was going ok for the Tarutaru, She and her mentor were discovering new ideals of the life stream yet life began to feel so repetetive as if there was more out there for her. Little did the taru know there was and it wasn't good news either. Being nearly over half her lifespan and considering herself getting too old was the beginning yet that was only minor. What was major however was the fact that word came to her bearing grim news. Her mentor had died and that very mentor was the white wizard herself. This was devastating which caused her to cloister herself for the rest of the day after a funeral. When time came her apprentice had helped her get things straight yet it was still unsettling knowing the one she looked up to for nearly half her life was suddenly gone... This only made her think of her parents to and to an extent she felt bad not having the same amount of care for them as she did for the white wizard. Days were long but it slowly began to come together after awhile.

During the months of loneliness excluding the attention of her pupil and only a few classmates who tried to comfort her which often was denied at times because she didn't need it the council had been rather on edge as they suddenly noticed the letter that was directed to Mobobo herself. It was during a class she was teaching in Gaia that the famous wizards approached her personally which they themselves were naturally a sight to lay eyes on and if they approach its serious business. They made Mobobo follow them to the council room presenting the letter itself. Mobobo was amazed by its content as basically gave the proposal to be the next “White Wizard”. Although hesitant at first she did accept the task and days if not months later the word had spread to nearly everyone in Celnaria mostly to mages. Her role was much more serious yet to her standings she did understand and only wanted to succeed her mentor who sat in this position before her.

Age 28-32: A White Wizard no longer!

Life went on and she did her task as a White Wizard, making new ordered laws on magic, dealing with diplomacy among the nations, taking action for what needed to be done. It was by this point when Mobobo had become seen as a leader more then a White Wizard and at this point she definitely succeeded if not completely overrule the position. Her apprentice, Impa had taken her position of professor of white arts which made her happy yet at the same time this often broke most of their communication due to Mobobo being busied. It wasn't til later on that her views became independent and her mindset came clear. She wasn't happy in Vidaria anymore yet the robes she wore represented her and she felt warm among them yet that aside she began to get less and less happy.

Surprisingly holding such power Mobobo used it for her own good in going deeper into parts of history and at one point decided to revisit it by a spell the Black Mages used which was limited of course. The part in which she had visited was when she herself met Maloven. They discussed the her present and the future to come of the world which of course the part of history was erased when she disappeared to return to the present. What was discussed was the truth behind the legacy. Although Mobobo wasn't truly interested in anymore she did really want to know the secrets in what really occurred back then. What she found out was that Maloven himself felt as if he was basically a weapon and a tool. He had been given praise much later yet in his present time it was nothing more then a simple draft issue. In this point of the event it was also revealed that the foe was Odin and that he himself saw Odin escape through the “void” which in Mobobo's mind was a portal. With this information Mobobo had returned yet did not speak of anything. In fact, even the council had been brought to attention of Mobobo's actions. It made her mad when the phrase that she was a new legacy came out. With that Mobobo smirked writing a resignation yet also promoted immediately through a letter that Impa was the new White Wizard. The two would have banished or outcasted Mobobo but they believed that in the time travel something else occurred in her mind and she needed the rest of her life to find out what it was... Impa however did not and often disliked the idea behind it. She even argued against it at first but ended up taking the position. Outside she said it was because she wanted to be better then Mobobo yet inside it was only because Mobobo had asked it personally and she considers her to be her mentor in heart.

Age 32 – Present: Ambitions to fulfill...

Mobobo now travels Celnaria looking for answers and exploring what is out there. It is notable that she has returned to Vidaria and Gaia on minor occassions but finds herself going to the libraries of Gaia. As of now word has gotten out of Mobobo's resignation and many people wonder why. At the same time everyone is wonder where the Tarutaru has gone since then. Only in Vidaria does anyone recognize her. If you're not one who is important then you probably wouldn't. Mobobo however is not afraid to say her name in public so if people should hear it, they may just be surprised.

So begins...

By this point Alsa could hear the crowd around them roar louder then the rain that fell upon them. She couldn't even hear the sound of there spells and weapons clashing. Adventurers who could've been helping stood in awe as the two took the thing on but she really didn't care and wasn't about to call out to them again. She was too busy anyways with the burned goobbue. The girl sighed ready to end the creature and before long the creature once again became Engulf in flames. Finally seeing the opportunity the girl rushed over and leaped into the air swinging her polearm down gashing across the face of the beast who roared out and fell to the ground shortly after.

As soon as the cremiere landed, she fell back and sighed as she rested upon the ground catching her breath. The crowd roared as soon as they saw the beast not moving. Some came to the dragoon but she only moved her hand as she mentioned for them to back away. Before looking over at the beast who seemed dead. The rain seemed to slow down becoming a mere drizzle and things seemed to lighten up as people clapped. She only guessed to some that this was merely part of the event but to Alsa, she personally didn't know what to think at this point. That thing just seemed too enraged as well as the creature being used as a display during the parade. She shook her head trying to figure it all out but suddenly the beast's body began to glow and everyone gasped and pointed. Some mentioning to look over in the direction. Alsa turned her head before moving her hair from her eyes as what seemed to be dark essence flowing from the creature's body. (Jaspon If you look over, you may recognize this from your training in the dark arts. Forbidden dark magic). Alsa the noticed as she stood and backed out of the crowd black robed man standing near the entrance to the alley way. She squinted slightly and what seemed to be as a soon as he was noticed he turned and walked away. This same man whispered speaking in Jaspon's mind. "You've grown strong... but..."

Alsa then began running towards the area to see whom this suspicious figure may have been but once she reached the entrance he was gone. It was right after this moment when suddenly the area had been shaded in darkness. Everyone in that moment noticed a big airship, very unusual in its size and the design was incredible to some eyes. Alsa looked up and noticed the ship heading west and it was only a short amount of time before it had went across the city only to disappear from ground level eye sight.

"What..in the world...?"

Mobobo had been watching the events unfold and even did a bit of fighting during the tournament just to defend her own. She had no interest in the whole thing excluding when she finally made it to her destination (Central Alexander). The woman simply traveled searching for answers and clues and to this day she finally got something she asked for. Before the fight began, the taru simply followed the robed man silently observing and she did in fact see the possession of the beast but because the creature wasn't important to her. She shrugged it off watching from a far. It did interest her when she saw the two heroes fighting the creature especially when she noticed a family face being the cremiere, she never did meet the girl when it happened but someone even more so familiar was Jaspon, she never had him as a student or so but she did in fact know he was a student of the college. The girl observed there fight, feeling at times that the lancer needed healing but she didn't want to blow her cover quite yet.

It wasn't until the end of the fight when everything began, the woman walked out and some people gasped as they saw the cloak upon the tarutaru. They went silent as the woman walked passed everyone and looked up at the creature's dark aura lifting and depleting. The girl looked over to Jaspon and pointed. Everyone's head followed.

"You're a student of the dark arts... Do you recognize this? If I'm not mistaken this is forbidden which means obviously we have a rogue around here but that's aside the point" she said as she noticed the cremiere began to chase after the robed man. She then walked over to the boy.

"We should probably follow--" Suddenly the area became shaded as she looked up into the sky. Her eyes went wide as she noticed the airship which she had in fact seen once before fly above her.

"S-so... it is true..."

Jaspon jumped at the wall of noise that hit him as the crowd roared upon their defeat of the beast. He looked to the crowd trying to smother a grin badly. Soon he gave in to the smile and beamed up at the crowd and contestants around them applauding their win. He tapped his staff to the ground and ran a hand through his soaked hair before picking up his hat, shaking it off and looking to the Cremiere. She looked exhausted from the fighting. As a mage, he was used to staying in the back lines so it wasn't taking quite as much of a toll on him. He looked up into the sky and closed his eyes as the rain slowed to a weak drizzle, the gentle patter of tiny drops feeling good on his skin.

Returning his gaze to the Cremiere woman, he began towards her. He managed only a couple of steps before a dull light illuminated the scene. The body of their enemy was glowing with a faint light. In any other situation he would have passed it off as natural. But in the pit of his stomach he could feel that something wasn't right. His eyes lingered on the body as a dark essence began to rise form the dead body. Jaspon took a step back suddenly, his jacket whipping back, and sucked in a sharp breath which caught in his throat. 'Dark magic? But that's forbidden.' Just as he thought this, a voice whispered in his mind making his body lock up and icy fingers to travel up his spine.

"You've grown strong... but..."

The black mage looked around for what - who - he knew was near. He just slightly glimpsed the sight of black robes disappearing into the crowd. The Cremiere followed after him quickly. He frowned slightly watching the essence fade away in the air. 'Mauv... What are you doing?' Movement in his vision brought his mind back. A Tarutaru, only three feet or so in height, was watching the essence as it finally faded away before them, the light now gone. Her gaze suddenly shifted to him and her finger lifted in his direction. His eyes widened slightly and his eyebrows pulled together with worry.

"You're a student of the dark arts... Do you recognize this?" He nodded and opened his mouth to speak, but her words cut in before his. "If I'm not mistaken this is forbidden which means obviously we have a rogue around here but that's aside the point." He frowned slightly. Interrupting was bad enough. But interrupting after asking someone a question was just plain rude.

The Tarutaru stepped in his direction. She barely got her words out before a shadow passed over them. Another drop in Jaspon's stomach made him only feel worse about the situation. Taking a deep breath, he lifted his gaze to the sky. An airship, unlike any had ever seen, flew above them, temporarily blocking the rain. His jaw dropped open. A voice at his side made him look down.

"S-so... it is true..." the Tarutaru muttered. Jaspon frowned again, looking quickly between the airship and the woman. He was confused, to say the least. It was bad enough that he had to deal with his old friend. Now there was even more to handle. This was probably not what his mentor, the TaruTaru, Mototo-Koroko, had intended for him when he sent him off to Alexander to explore the world and gain some experience.
"If you don't mind my asking, Ma'am, what is true?" he asked politely. He needed more information if he were to do anything.

Alsa, like the res of the town looked into the sky which had been shrouded by the dark structure among. The massive object that no one would know of other then those who lived over a hundred years or retain history well. The citizens of Alexander stood in awe, gasping and point yet she, the dragoon, could hear the crowd behind her although to the ears it rang of ruckus. Only a few questions and comments flew among them as the ship floated over them. It hadn't swayed her thoughts completely, however this only drove her to believe the three events were connected but "for what?" she wondered. The dark magic, the shrouded man, and the mysterious airship heading west were all floating over her head. Eventually she brought her palm to her head shaking it. The voices of the people weren't helping. Soon her hands formed fist only to tighten in frustration before looking back with her head slightly turned after lowering it and a sigh followed. Her body then turned to face outside of the alley way and she could see the guards of the city and some of the beast master guild representatives collecting the corpse of the beast and talking things over. It only made her scratch her head before making her way out.

Mobobo turned to look at the human and positioned her arms only to set her chin among her right hand's finger and had her left had holding her right arm's elbow. She did a humming gesture to the boy and only giggled. The woman did indeed have a want to express her joy in finding the information that she so desired but she was by no means going to give the information such as this to anyone. Let alone a "thaumaturge" (A student of the black arts) who just began an adventure. What the taru would do however would definitely be something she could entrust or ask perhaps.

"Well… There is a bit going on and I figured there had been a bit of trouble with a few rogue mages running about which lead me here… intuition seemed right once again. I do hope they taught you the difference between rogue mages and adventurers who are mages yes? Need'th I explain myself and those differences to similarities I will. Do not think just because I am Taru by the way, it is odd i do not speak as though I am one but aside and getting back to topic. There is little to be known even to me young one." Mobobo said as she looked and observed the scene. Watching the people as there attention was upon the ship that nearly seemed to be right above them at this point. It was getting a little louder then what she personally enjoyed. She gave an annoyed grumble but didn't express too much other then gesture for a second with her mouth. The woman then turned back towards the boy.

"Well let's join the girl shall we?" She said with a small clap before walking her way. Her hands gave a small clap as she walked passed the people which only a few looked towards the woman in that moment to see what it was about. The airship had passed over and the some of the citizen's were still stunned. People were still asking questions and guards trying to keep things civil and calm. It wasn't long until the small taru finally made her way out of the packed area. As she neared the alleyway she passed by a empty festival stall that held nothing of too much interest and a couple of guards talking among themselves. After passing by the two, they appeared to end there conversation as one ran into the other direction and the other walked towards the crowd. Finally the girl made it to close to the alley's entrance as she began to speak.

"Had I not witnessed it, It's quite a sight indeed! A legend reborn… quite a representing sight. Interestingly I had my own things to deal with and a lack of care, not to say you weren't important but to get back on topic. I would like to ask you… what did you see…?"

As the Taru giggled, Jaspon's lips pressed together into a thin line. Pursing his lips, he turned his head away and tried to block her from his mind. He had more important things to worry about. Most importantly, Mauvelant. 'Why is he here?' Jaspon thought with a frown. 'Did he follow me?' Jaspon shook his head and tried to think. Before he could get far, a familiar, annoying voice drifted into his ears.

"Well… There is a bit going on and I figured there had been a bit of trouble with a few rogue mages running about which lead me here… intuition seemed right once again. I do hope they taught you the difference between rogue mages and adventurers who are mages yes?" Jaspon took a deep breath and fought with himself to remain silent, swallowing down a rude retort. 'No, they just sent me out into the world and hoped for the best,' he thought instead to himself.
"Need'th I explain myself and those differences to similarities I will. Do not think just because I am Taru by the way, it is odd i do not speak as though I am one but aside and getting back to topic. There is little to be known even to me young one." His eyes narrowed slightly. 'We're not going to be getting along, I can see it now.' Something in the way she rambled on and the little things she said just put him completely off of her.

"Well let's join the girl shall we?" the old girl asked him with a clap, not that he was getting much of a choice anyway as she began into the crowd. Shaking his head, Jaspon reluctantly followed her. As they walked through the crowd, he would occasionally look to the sky while his mind went through everything. Mauvalent was back. He had dabbled in the dark arts, though Jaspon could see no reason why. Mauv was already a strong mage, stronger than Jaspon. Why then was he so power-hungry? The mage shook his head and looked to the sky again. And he had been there, all the time Jaspon was fighting. He had been watching his every move, studying his weaknesses. And yet, Jaspon had not seen him anywhere in the crowd. The images of figures standing, cheering, screaming, all flashed through his mind as he sorted them based on race, job and social status. But not one matched his old friend.

When they finally reached close to the entrance to the alley, the black mage hadn't even noticed. It was only an irritating voice below him that managed to finally pull him from his thoughts.
"... legend reborn… quite a representing sight. Interestingly I had my own things to deal with and a lack of care, not to say you weren't important, "he rolled his eyes and looked at the alley entance, "but to get back on topic. I would like to ask you… what did you see…?"

Jaspon sighed at her question. What had he seen? Dark magic. His old friend, now enemy. A mysterious airship. He waited a moment before answering, his lips pursed, as he watched the taru, considering how much he would be willing to share with her. For her to get all the information she asked for, she would have to give him the information he had requested first. Drawing in a quiet breath, he spoke.
"I doubt my account will vary much from your own. I saw dark, forbidden magic, a robed man and an airship, just like the rest." Jaspon glanced to the Taru and back to the alley. "I'm not sure what the ship was for," he swallowed silently, "or who the man was... but I know that the magic he wielded should not be used by anyone with sense left in them." 'What were you thinking Mauv...? he though with a sigh.

Turning fully to the alley, he began towards it after the Cremiere, his strides long and determined. He doubted that his robed adversary was still there but the mage could at least ask the woman if she had seen anything to give him a hint. He resisted the urge to glance back at the three foot taru. If she had followed him, she would at least be more concerned with keeping up with him than talking. He smiled to himself, and continued on.

When he finally reached the dragoon, he lowered his staff further than it had been and held out his cleared his throat quietly to get her attention but not scare her. He stepped forwards and lifted the hat from his head.
"Greetings. My name is Jaspon Morgan," he said with a slight smile. "I was wondering..." he hesitated, then tried again. "I was wondering if I could take a moment of your time to ask about the man you chased."

Jaspon left the question open for her to answer as she wished. He placed the end of his staff on the ground and leaned his weight against it slightly waiting patiently.

Alexander (Central)– Town Square

As Alsa made her way from the alley way she could only pick up on the words of the small Tarutaru, especially when mentioning the words "legend reborn". Its not like the cremiere had been completely bothered by being called out but she definitely did not want the attention. In a way as she looked towards the two walking towards her, she felt an sense of nostalgia but couldn't place her finger as to why. The woman seemed all to familiar yet at the same time she never met her but then it clicked in as to why as she noticed the robe being worn. The girl silently moved forward towards them as the question was posed.

"What did you see...?"

It seems the boy thought the question was directed upon him and answered it quickly. Alsa only sighed before speaking out.

"I believe she meant me..." She said as the boy lowered his staff. She never was able to observe the boy up close due to being in battle but the scent that the boy had was definitely of Vidaria. It only brought her to think that he was of the college. There is no other solution to this ideal especially when being so young. At least that is what Alsa thought that is. The girl tipped her hat slightly before re-adjusting and in that moment introductions began. The boy who identified himself to be "Jaspon Morgan" didn't stop although stuttered in hesitation to ask what she saw. The woman could only scratch her nose before turning towards the west only seeing the airship getting smaller by the second.

"Nothing... I can't say but It may had just been my imagination to see a mysterious figure walk off. Once I turned to corner he was gone. These events... I'm not sure if they were intended or not. I've never seen such a airship either which leads me to wonder if its a Garrom model. Technology seems to always be rising there" Alsa replied. She couldn't help but try to fit clues in. She herself knew that the Goobbue couldn't had been planned but the other two just seemed so unusual. The girl began walking pass them only to stop looking out to the crowd in thought.

Mobobo only sighed as the boy replied yet she did notice a few things when he began to speak. One thing was obvious that it did in fact affect him emotionally. She couldn't quite tell what it was though but these thoughts only halted as the cremiere began to speak. To the tarutaru, nothing that the cremiere said was useful. A mysterious if not a normal interesting style'd attire that could be foreign caught her eye and she caught suspicion among the crowd or else the man just didn't feel safe and wandered off. However it was the end that got her attention in the slightest for a man to simply disappear after turning the corner and goobbue's were not like the Malboros whom toxic breath will give you every daunting effect that even a white mage has to struggle to extract.

The woman was thinking to herself as they talked among themselves but couldn't quite pick out as to why the boy was so obsessed in this case. He is young and there is no way a boy of his age could be involved in such a person if not a rogue mage right? This was only what she was thinking until it may have clicked to her.

"I have a bit of a case on my hands. Thaumaturge Jaspon, what is making you so obsessed with knowing whom this person may be. Is there something you may want to clue us in on and why now did you come here to search for this person? Its not to pry personally but this bit of information may help me in the long run and to you dragoon if not both of you. I believe you are the champions of the festival, quite an achievement. How about we collect your reward and we'll speak about this further, although I can sense you two are rather cautious of my presence to the least although we have all been rather close. I feel there is a few things you will want to hear.

Alsa, Jaspon, and Mobobo walked to the stand which they collected not only a reward for the tournament but a reward for saving the city although they made it seem as if it was all in one to not stir up the citizens. The city relatively returned to enjoy the festival although the alley way had been blocked off to be under construction and repair. The three went to a near by tavern and sat down only for a moment in the far right to only to for the most part listen to what the taru had to say.

"For the most part, I'm glad you followed, I am Mobobo... however Introductions is not the reason I called. No.. the reason I am telling you two is because you two are the only ones who noticed something about this tournament else there'd be many in our position questioning these events. Even some of the other adventurers are frightened yet haven't noticed anything of these events. So what I will say to catch you up is that recently there have been a few rogue mages and I have taken it upon myself to seek out as to why." Mobobo began sighing in her seat as she grabbed the cup with both hands and rose it up to drink some of the juice given to her.

"You know, I don't know too much on this and I really don't think I should take any detours yet... It does rather interest me. Mainly what dawns me now is that the one legacy chosen White mage stands before us. Is this what the three mages have been dealing with recently?"

"Oh heavens no! I separated myself from the council and have been at it alone... The council holds me back from discovering the truth of what happens outside of our own world. We simply govern magic and strive to keep the source at balance yet, as a white mage i went beyond my duty and even driven young ones to higher potential and eventually I made- ... Lest I keep that from you two for now what comes now though is that --" Mobobo stopped suddenly hearing the doors of the tavern suddenly slam open. She turned her head slightly seeing four guards and it's captain walk in and suddenly call out.

"I hear the two adventurers and the former white mage walked into this tavern! Please reveal thy selves immediately!" He said loud.

"We are but right here captain" Mobobo said standing with a wave.

"The three of you have been summoned by the duke himself. We will wait for you outside to escort you" He said before walking out with the four guards.

"We best get to it.. don't want to stir them up yes?" She grinned the two.

Jaspon looked away and sighed. She had a point. The information that he held may very well aid her if she knew as much as she let on about whatever it was that was happening in the world around them. He closed his eyes and sighed again. Was it really wise to tell her of Mauv? Would she think differently of him for being so passive with his friend? So blind? 'What the hell do I care what she thinks?' Jaspon barked at himself in his mind. She had appeared out of nowhere and expected him to just follow her like an obedient pet. She would soon come to find that he was not one to be irritated. He turned his eyes back to her and considered for a moment, taking in every detail of her and storing it in his expansive memory. As much as he wished it would be, this was no time to show her his true feelings. Instead, he drew in a breath and spoke.

"I wasn't entirely honest," he hesitated, "about the man. I do..." Jaspon sighed and corrected himself. "I did know him. He was a close friend of mine from a long time back, but... he started to be influenced by the idea of power and sought out a way of increasing his strength. I was hoping to find him again, to talk some sense into him at the very least if I could, but now I've finally accepted that he is beyond saving if he is so willing to turn to dark arts."

When the Taru suggested going elsewhere to discuss the matter further - which Jaspon guessed was more likely to be himself and the Cremiere listening to her as she babbled on - he happily accepted. Their journey was somewhat short, stopping only once for their reward. He accepted it with a faint smile and a sincere, but quiet, "thank you".

Jaspon vaguely took in what the Taru - Mobobo - was saying while he scanned the interior of the tavern over his tankard. the people within were mostly adventures of all ages and races. The details of each seeped into his mind and remained. Once again, he began to sort through every face in an attempt to identify his - now - enemy. He found no one even coming close to match Mauvalent. Sighing, he took a small drink, noting the possible exits. Just as his mind began to register and make sense of the fact that Mobobo had been in the council of mages - something he really ought to have realised - the door of the tavern burst open. His eyes fell on the armoured bodies of four guards and their captain. The latter called out for them. Before he could even take another breath Mobobo had leapt from her seat with a wave to thee group, revealing their position.

"The three of you have been summoned by the duke himself." Jaspon's eyes widened at this. "We will wait for you outside to escort you." The captain walked out, the guards following obediently.

"We best get to it.. don't want to stir them up yes?" Mobobo said through a beaming grin. With a roll of his eyes Jaspon grabbed his staff, hat and bag, and started for the door behind hind his companions. The Duke no doubt only wanted to congratulate them on their win and thank them for saving the city. Though, it could very well be something more. Perhaps someone else had seen and understood the dark magic. Perhaps that was what he wished of them, a report of the incident. It seemed more likely than to simply thank and congratulate them, something so small in comparison to other, more important, things. Regardless, it would most certainly be interesting to watch how the exchange between the Duke and Mobobo would unfold.

Alsa and Mobobo quickly went to the exit of the tavern where they could feel multiple stares and glances of those enjoying there drinks. Alsa could hear a few whispers here and there but didn't bother to stop. In truth she had no idea what to expect or think at this point. To a minimal interest, she was rather curious of what the duke would want with them and what also got her was the fact that it was only a short while and suddenly the duke calls out to them. Perhaps he was close by? She grumbled slightly not as though anyone could hear it over the people talking. Mobobo on the other hand had been expecting such news especially when she's the one who made the appointment originally to begin with. It was on fortunate that these two were also asked to come along but she didn't quite see it as a hinderance. The small woman walked quickly ignoring the others and mind set on what she would open the conversation with when they made it to the duke. It only came so quick noticing they had just walked out of the tavern and were standing in front of the guard.

“Well let's get this over with, there is much to discuss” Mobobo said.

Alsa only shrugged obviously having no idea what it would be the duke would want. The guards quickly did a bow and began walking in the direction of duke's palace, assuming all three of them were following. The citizens stood clear of the guards and there followers giving more looks and stares curious of what could be going on. Children tugged on there parent's cloths and pointed curiously. Alsa just felt like jumping passed all of this and avoiding it all but knew she couldn't disrespect the guards of the duchy and needed to walk with proper etiquette. The walk was indeed a good one especially when they reached the stairs but eventually the sighs of relief came from Mobobo and Alsa when they reached the duke's palace and walked straight into the throne room.

“Ah! White Wizard Mobobo, I welcome thee to my palace, we're also quite lucky to have you be in our city when you were. To be quite frank I wasn't expecting all of these interesting events to take place but-” The duke began in a loud voice only going softer as the heros approached. The guards stood near the door excluding the captain who continued in front of them and then went to the side and out of the way.

“Yes, yes... I'm also glad you were free, listen and listen well for you are the mediator of the nations. I know you to also be quite a scholar which is quite fascinating and rather promising as the duke of this duchy – so you know what that airship was yes?” Mobobo quickly said.

“Yes... There was only a single picture in a book I have of fascinating airships of the war and fear grew when I saw that flowing over us and heading east... To catch you two up in case you were curious, that ship was known as “The Ark”. An interesting name isn't it?”

Alsa's eyes went wide as the name for some reason gave her chills. It was an indeed interesting name and rather powerful. Mobobo had a similar feeling although she did recall seeing It during the war but only turned her head to the side without speaking of it. “Terror” was the only word she could think when she heard that name however she did bring herself back to the conversation quickly and looked towards Alsa and then to Jaspon.

“Supposably, that ship was the very ship Odin himself rode upon and it was that very airship that nearly was our end. The craftsmanship of the west is incredibly destructive and it's the forbidden art of what you may recall from some of your studies, Thaumaturge. “Magitech”.

“What is Magitech...?” Alsa asked slightly interested because she never heard of such a thing.

“Its basically technology that infuses Magical energy to create weapons said to match gods themselves. Its corrupt however like any technology it runs out eventually. Interestingly, Magitech was used many many years ago but the war was so devastating and nearly destroyed an entire continent they had to put an end and regress. Besides that, Magic still goes beyond Magitech limits yet... thats only when we're together. We have our limits” Mobobo explained.

“Correct – the reasons I called you two as well is because I have a very important task for you. I did make sure to write a explanatory letter for your superiors and I wouldn't do this for just any task. Things have become very dire but I believe you three.. are special for the task. Listen, I need you to act as ambassadors and do what you can for our nations protection. At the least all I can ask of you is to deliver these messages to the three nations. I personally feel that goobbue was a threat and a warning that war is coming but I can not act without hearing from our three leaders.” The duke said lifting himself from his chair and walking towards the left window as his hands crossed behind his back.

“If only the leaders of light were here, they would be an amazing contribution to all of this... I fear Odin didn't die that day and there is something to this you know isn't there Mobobo?”

The woman sighed.

“I tampered in the past yes, but there are certainties I have to confirm before I make a concrete conclusion” She said.

“Well... Lets get this over with. Lancer guild is probably waiting for my return anyways...” Alsa said.

“You'll sadly be stopping in Ahn'veria I'm afraid young lancer. My personal airship is preparing as we speak, If you're fine with what you have heard then please have the captain take you to the royal port and talk to Cid”

The captain looked side to side with his arms crossed waiting to see if anyone had anything else to say. Mobobo shook her head and Alsa shrugged without saying another word. They then turned to Jaspon waiting to see if he had anything to say.

“Supposedly, that ship was the very ship Odin himself rode upon and it was that very airship that nearly was our end. The craftsmanship of the west is incredibly destructive and it's the forbidden art of what you may recall from some of your studies, Thaumaturge. “Magitech”.

Jaspon's eyes widened at the word. First dark arts, and now Magitech? He closed his eyes and rubbed them with one hand, the other supporting his staff.
"Has all the sense graced to this world been abandoned?" he muttered quietly to himself, the end of the question flaring slightly louder as he pulled his hand away. Sighing, he listened to Mobobo explaining Magitech to Alsa, and the Duke's request. The universe would choose his first journey out into the world as a black mage to start a war around him. Why couldn't he have had more chance to prepare? He barely even knew any useful spells to defend himself with. As his frustration and panic began to build, a scorching heat formed on his palms, but it was painless. A red light washed over his as the crystal on his staff began to glow. He took a moment to compose himself, taking deep breathes, then turned his eyes to the staff. With a light tap on the ground, it faded away.

When he looked up, Mobobo, Alsa and the Duke were all watching him expectantly. For a second, he didn't understand why and squirmed under their collective gaze. Realisation dawned on him. He straightened slightly, standing to his full height. His eyes fell on the Duke. While most would be cautious of locking gaze with one of such status and power, Jaspon had little problem with it. He refused to be intimidated. Pursing his lips, he considered what would be best to ask. Wasting time asking many questions would not be appreciated by anyone, so one question that was more important than the rest would be his best course of actions. Nodding slightly, he drew in breath to speak.

"I have one question concerning the possessed monster we defeated," Jaspon asked, projecting his voice loud enough to be heard, but in a neutral tone, as if unconcerned whether he found out of not. "Do you have information on whom it was that was responsible?" If the Duke knew nothing of Mauvalent, then he would have more room to deal with him without interference. Mauvalent was his problem, and Jaspon felt that it was then his responsibility to take care of him if the situation called for it. The less people who knew, the better.

So long as he could actually deal with him. Jaspon shuddered at the thought, similar to how he had reacted to the Ark being named. And only if Mauvalent wasn't involved in whatever this was. Jaspon found it hard to believe that he wasn't - the evidence was damning - but there was still a small flicker of hope within burning strong. If he was involved, however, then he was everyone's problem, and Jaspon would likely have to change his stance on the matter. Deciding to worry about it if it came to that, Jaspon waited for the Duke's answer.

"I have one question concerning the possessed monster we defeated"

Mobobo and Alsa squinted there eyes slightly with focus as he continued his question. They knew to a point that it had to have been coming. The boy had been quite focused on that since it all started. Alsa sighed and began to gesture with her hand raising it up before speaking but was cut off by the duke himself who was still rather calm and patient. It wasn't that the girl felt completely senseless towards the boy and his friend but there was no real way of knowing who the person was when he was so cloaked. The duke grumbled slightly pressing his index finger to his head.

"mmm.. No, I'm afraid not, in fact I didn't get reports of anyone suspicious. The only thing we can accurately determine is that It was indeed a Dark Magic user. One other thing we may claim is that he or she may be a agent of Odin's army. This is alas another reason why we're heading too the other nations because perhaps they may have more knowledge then we know." He sighed before crossing his arms in thought. The man couldn't help but move his hand over his blond waved back hair.

Mobobo seemed to be lost in thought when the duke answered the human black mage at the point but she didn't reveal anything until she noticed the silence. She looked among everyone in the room including the captain and only shrugged to hear Alsa suddenly begin walking out. The Taru couldn't help but wonder why this girl was so mysterious in her own way yet she could see that the girl did have some mild interest.

"I guess that is our que" the white mage said. The captain walked out the door opening them wide enough for everyone and shortly stopped seeing Alsa waiting in the hall. Everyone else seemed to follow behind excluding the Duke who had went back into his train of thought upon his throne. The walking order seemed to change as the captain was now in front of everyone followed by Alsa, Jaspon and then Mobobo. It had been a relatively quick walk as they walked down the elegant red carpet. They would be able to acknowledge the radiant warmth of the light as they walked down the palace halls seeing pictures of the previous dukes and famous heroes. Eventually they finally heard the engine from a far and it only grew louder. The captain bowed once he reached the door to the royal port and allowed access for the three to go on without him.

When the three went up the stairs that had been in there pathway. A relatively tall man, wearing engineer gear and holding a toolbox walked up to them.

"Oi! She be ready to take on the eight seas of hell and best the winds of Garuda when we begin! The name is Cid and I'm happy to be of service. C'mon over lads and I'll start us up." He said only seconds later look down seeing Mobobo with a rather mad face.

"Oh! My my lassy, My apologies. I didn't see you standing there! You folk are small and my eyes are becoming weaker as I age!"

Mobobo shook her head walking passed the rest of the group with a shrug. Alsa couldn't help but giggle yet at the same time follow the white mage. Everyone seemed to walk into the ship and only moments later It had taken off.

two hours later (Halcyon)

The elvaan city of Ahn'veria spotted Cid's airship from a far and the knight who was on watch quickly made haste to the Queen. She was in thought at first but quickly after a few seconds made the decision to get the infamous Mercenary Guild of there branch to come forth. Moments at the guild hall, Halcyon did see the royal knights come in with the order before talking to the guildmaster of that branch. She did catch some of it but couldn't hear it all. After they left he comes to you and explains that "you are to escort Cid and anyone on that ship to the Queen". Surprisingly you knew that this job would only be for the better to increase your branch's reputation even if its something so small as this and don't have a problem with it too much. Soon after two other guild mates join you for this escort and you quickly go out to the port ready. Some royal knights look at you with smirks or so but nothing with too much hatred. After waiting about fifteen minutes the ship arrives and you and your two guild mates walk up with a good amount of distance between you and the exit of the ship. When the airship stops and five minutes pass, everyone walks out in this order: Cid, Mobobo, Jaspon, Alsa.

Alsa sighs as she intakes yet another atmosphere, relatively cleaner then Alexander but definitely city based area. The cremiere stretched with her eyes nearly closing only to notice the three in front of them. "Eh... A welcoming party...?" She thought to herself. Cid walked up observing the three. A Mi'qote, A Roegadyn and A Tarutaru, all in rather standard adventurer attire.

"There be a problem with parking her ere? I only hope I didn't come at the worst time. Either way, I'm only the navigator. Who you seek are these three. I am afraid that we did catch a minor storm with the wind so I'll have to do some inspections but please do come in if there is a problem"

Alsa and Mobobo shook there heads. Even to Alsa it was obvious the man didn't know whom he was talking to and being recognized, he must have had to see that they were not of the royal army. Mobobo finally rose her hand walking out a little ways as she motioned Cid to return to his ship which he did.

"He is right though, Whom might you be exactly, you do not where the royal armor so I do have to ask this and another reason is that.... You stand in our way" The Taru said.

"She is right... You see we're in a hurry so if you're just looking to try to pick pocket. You best stand aside"

"No no! We're not thiefy-weefies! We came to escort you to the Queen! Right? Tell them Halcyon!" The male taru said near the Mi'qote. The galka was just silent but nodded with his hands in front of him obvious he had no intention or want to fight.

Jaspon only nodded at the information. It failed to improve his mood. He had hoped for someway of saving his friend, but that spark within had been extinguished. It had withered and died at the Duke's words. 'So, he's working with Odin.' The teen was at least reassured with the knowledge that no one knew who it was other than himself. Not even Mobobo or Alsa. while he had given a little information, there was still some hidden which protected the identity of Mauv. Following the others, a thoughtful look on his face,
Jaspon let his mind wander to wherever to led to. His mind returned only briefly to smirk at Cid's comment on Mobobo's height before slipping back into his thoughts.

For almost the entire ride on the airship, Jaspon stood leaning on the railings, looking off into the distance and wondering why his mentor had ever decided to let him go off into the world. While eager to see the world, and experience magic in real life situations, he had tried, and failed, to convince his mentor to reconsider. Despite knowing he was ready concerning his magical knowledge, he didn't feel ready to take on the world. It just didn't feel like his time. Pushing his thoughts away, he instead focused his mind on the view before him until the ground once again came in to clear sight.

Ahn'veria

Jaspon stepped out after Cid and Mobobo cautiously to meet the strangers, his staff raised slightly, a faint glow coming from the crystal as his hands warmed. It was not a very reassuring sight, though they were currently equal in numbers. 'But are we equal in strength?' Jaspon asked himself with a frown of worry. After Cid left them, Jaspon stepped closer to Mobobo. She may be annoying, but as a white mage her fighting capabilities were limited so she might need some help if things got bad. He didn't relax, but lowered the staff slightly, it's glow still covering the mages.

"No no! We're not thiefy-weefies! We came to escort you to the Queen! Right? Tell them Halcyon!" Jaspon followed the man's eyes to the girl in their group. She didn't seem very combat ready, but he knew from experience not to judge someone's fighting ability based solely on their appearance. He narrowed his eyes slightly, noticeably, but not maliciously.
"Do you really expect us to take your word? We know nothing of you. How are we to know this is not some trick?" He wanted to believe them, but a familiar caution danced at the edge of his mind. The black mage readied his staff slightly, as subtly as he could manage given the situation and its warning light. If anything were to happen, at least he'd be ready. He awaited their answer.

Ahn'Veria

Noticing the group's discomfort, Halcyon took a step forward with her empty hands clearly displayed. "We no harm. We mercenaries from Ahn'Verian guild branch. Friend is telling truth. Our Queen asks you come and we get you there safe." Halcyon paused for a moment to consider the newcomer's positions. They didn't appear aggressive, merely defensive. She desperately hoped that this meeting would go smoothly. Already, townspeople thought she was a useless addition to the guild, being a small female. Perhaps she could display her diplomatic ability when dealing with travelers. "Everyone on ship come along, a man name..." she paused again trying to remember the name, "...Cid."

She glanced around the faces of the three remaining ship members, her face honest, gauging their aggressiveness. Halcyon swallowed hard, this wasn't the first time that she had an escorting missions. Those were fairly common for her. However, there was something different about this group in particular that she couldn't place. They seemed more important than the minor nobility that she had dealt with in the past. Their clothing mildly reminded her of travelers, but then again, Halcyon wasn't one to keep up with all of the fashions in Ahn'Veria, let alone in the other lands.

"Please follow me. We lead you to castle and then you go along with you plans." Halcyon smiled at the group, awaiting their reaction. Their defensive weapons were beginning to make the vulnerable Miqo'te nervous. The Mercenaries were to always be on guard, but she wanted to show them that they honestly meant no harm. Reaching for her sword now would only cause unnecessary alarm.

Ahn'veria (Port)

Alsa began reaching towards her spear at this point squinting to the three in front of them. She wasn't sure what to think about this. They dressed merely like adventurers to her and seemed to have different sets of attire. The cremeire wasn't buying it but at the same time she never once stepped into this city, in fact this evening proved to be rather adventurous and full of unexpected events. It was only eight hours ago (real time) that Alsa stepped on to the steps of Alexander for the first time and now she finds herself taking a detour on the duke's behalf and much she doesn't want to stepping in Ahn'Veria. What a story she will have to explain when returning to Vidaria. That aside, she wasn't quite sure to be alert or just absorb the culture shock of the area. It began to click into her and wonders began stirring "Were there actual guards?". In Vidaria much of the protection of the city were divided among the scouts guilds and lancer guild. Could it be that she was merely overseeing such a thing and these were also the protectors of the city and peacekeepers? Alsa began retracting her hand from her weapon in this moment but didn't say anything towards them. Mobobo on the other hand was in thought on this as well.

The Taru by no means didn't expect a welcome party but usually It was by the Royal Guard. The taru held out her hand and shook her head.

"Well Hold on-" Mobobo began until suddenly hearing footsteps from behind her. Alsa and her turned there head's slightly seeing Cid walk out as he spoke.

"Ah! So that's who ye are lass! I thought I recognized ye. Haven't seen ye since you were a young... "Cub"? How Is old man Eberstark? I see he's trying to improve the Ahn'verian branch and I can only hope you were sent to be the leader!" He chuckled as he stepped in front of the three scratching his head.

"Cid..? Do you know these three?" Mobobo asked.

"Yes Yes! I'd say I've met them among my older days. It's been around twelve years or longer for this lass here. You've heard of the Mercenary guild ay?" He said directing towards the taru.

She scratched her head and frowned.

"Not exactly... well.. Its more like I just have no reason to pay attention to them... However, I have heard rumors of a branch having many failures. Perhaps this is it? This just makes me feel so much more confident in my survival through the elegant streets of Ahn'Veria!" Mobobo said with sarcasm at the end.

"Although..." She said walking up to the Miqo'te.

"I have a feeling this one... is actually a bit different from the other two standing.

Alsa rolled her eyes somewhat to her rude jest which she had been right but at the same time rather mean. She was use to it though, Mobobo was a very intelligent and blunt person which made her sarcasm come out all the more. Another thing she seemed to be right about was that this Miqo'te before them did have a different feel but she shrugged before speaking herself.

"you've yet to tell us who you are?"

"Ah! Her name... is...err..ehm.. Holly?! Yes Holly Right?!" Cid asked looking towards the Miqo'te pointing.

Alsa shook her head. It was obvious that the man guessed but what does she know for all she knew, it could've been right.

The taru next to Halcyon waved kindly "I'm Karoro" and the Roegadyn bowed "I'm Droc". Mobobo and Alsa only nodded. Cid saluted and then cleared his throat.

"Alsa" The lancer said.

"I'm Mobobo, A pleasure" Mobobo said. The taru crooked his eyebrow and went into thought placing his fingers to his chin. He noticed that she didn't speak like most.

"Listen lass, I'll need to work on me Airship and do a little maintenance before we head to the next city. If she is really in need of me, she being the queen 'erself. I'll go but for now please take these three for they are the ones who really need the 'tenttion. Oh and please be sure to make it quick. There is a bit at stake then normal" Cid said waving before walking into his airship once more.

"As he said, we are in a bit of a rush and he is un-needed for such a thing. I'm sure once the queen see's me. She will have a huge understanding"

"Let's just go and get this over with - Alsa said before walking towards the exit being impatient once more.

"Impatient as ever..." Mobobo said and everyone then seemed to follow along behind.

The walk was rather upsetting, Royal guards smirking yet most didn't care to even look. Over all and as Mobobo most suspected it was completely worthless having an escort through the city. One although there are more civil wars here then anywhere else, they are very kind to outsiders. Two, they were more then capable then defending themselves. They passed a bit of residence along the way, only to make it into the royal quarters which was far interesting to Alsa who the whole way seemed to be amazed by all the artistic buildings and castle ahead. Finally they reached the castle and were lead in by an actual royal guard, all the way to the throne room.

In which once entered they saw a woman sitting in her throne and what appeared to be a relatively young elf talking to her.

"Yes, yes... that is indeed valuable information. However, I'm afraid I need to decli-- Oh, my Olivert please go address and bring forth my guest... we may need to hold this discussion off for now..."

Jonathan hesitated, then lowered the staff, the crystal's light now no more than a dull flicker. There was still a lingering caution within him, but he felt that her words were genuine. He felt she was someone he could trust to a lesser or greater degree, at least in this situation. The exchange with Cid left him with a small smile. Following the others in, he allowed them to lead the the way while he lingered behind, viewing what he could of the Ahn' Verian castle. Everything around them was beautiful. But there was a distant doubt about this nation. A darkness hidden just beyond his view. Shaking his head, and passing it off as his tendency to panic, he continued after the others.

Now led by the royal guard, they entered into a grand throne room. At the furthest end sat the Queen. She spoke quietly with a rather young elf. Jaspon took a moment to take in every detail he could of the elf, then returned his eyes to the Queen. He couldn't quite determine what it was, but there was a growing feeling every time he looked to her form. It worried him. She worried him. Calling it paranoia again, he watched a she looked to them, whispered once more to her companion, then turned to the group. He moved his staff out of its position - halfway to battle ready - and willed the light to extinguish. It would not be a good idea to suggest a threat unintentionally. He waited for what would happen next.

Oliviert turned his eyes on the group approaching and swallowed down his words. There would likely be a better time to convince his Queen, and friend, but now was not it. He returned his gaze to her and inclined his head.
"At once, my Queen," he spoke quickly, turning with a slight frown. He began his walk towards the new comers with an appraising eye. A teenage black mage - no doubt a new adventurer, a Cremiere dragoon - who looked quite experienced, and a taru white mage, whom he recognised, but could not place. 'I'm sure it will come to me soon, when we are introduced.' Smoothing his expression into a charming, and welcoming, smile, he stopped not far from the group. He bowed gracefully, and then straightened.

"Welcome to Ahn' Veria, travellers. Her Majesty, Queen Sara'veilan, requests your presence. If you would follow me." He turned and began a slow walk towards the Queen. He had gotten on the wrong side of a Taru long ago by walking too fast for him to keep up with. He had no intention of making that mistake again. When he had reached the Queen, he gestured with his arm.
"May I now present, Queen Sara'veilan." To allow them to talk freely, Oliviert walked backwards out of their way, but close enough to hear and observe.

The young Miqo'te certainly enjoyed the company of the man named Cid. His friendly disposition planted a great smile on her face. She didn't remember him, but he obviously knew her and her companions. Though his reference to old man Eberstark confused her. She wasn't sure if he meant her father or uncle and she certainly wasn't the leader. Halcyon was still working on her understanding of the common language, but there was still a small barrier. She chose to offer a smile and a nod of the head.

Halcyon envied these travelers. Despite being a member of the guild for almost a year, she has never been permitted to leave Ahn'Veria. These people were obviously from different lands, having not heard of the Mercenary guild before. Her face pulled into a temporary frown as the small mage spoke of her branch's poor reputation, but was soon replaced by a blush as the woman's compliment registered in her mind.

Cid's attempts at her name were flattering, but incorrect. Upon the realization that she hadn't introduced herself, the young mercenary said, "Sorry, me name Halcyon."

The Roegadyn mercenary led the group to the castle. Halcyon walked along side the group. Despite the lack of threat to the adventurers, going by the book would only help the Mercenary guild. Once the group reached the doors of the castle, the royal guard took over the protection detail. Halcyon offered the guards a smile, their low feelings towards the guild didn't mean she had to be rude.

As the troop entered the throne room, Halcyon saw her mighty Queen adorning the throne. The monarch whispered with what Halcyon could only assume was a servant. The elf that had once held the Queen's attention approached the group and Halcyon straightened her posture and assumed her Mercenary presence. She was about to be in the presence of royalty and there was no way she would disgrace her family or the guild by looking sloppy.

She maintained her rigid manners, as they followed the elf to the Queen. Halcyon remained silent once the group had made their way across the room to the throne. Now was not the time for a loose tongue. Her eyes strayed from the glittering throne to the rest of the room. The girl had always thought of the guild as a castle of sorts, but the Queen's residents blew it out of the water. Halcyon could never hope to live in such an extravagant manner, especially with her guild's infamy. She was happy with her station in life most of the time, but on a rare occasion, she could find herself wanting more.

Ahn'veria (Port)

Mobobo and Alsa observed the young elf who addressed and introduced the queen of the nation. Alsa couldn't help but blush slightly hiding her face further into her longer white hair as she observed the elf. She couldn't help but find him attractive but all that ended when she found herself paused for a second as the group had already been walking down the isle towards the queen's throne. She adjusted her blue attire before walking forward rather quickly to first catch up and to not seem too rude in front of the queen.

Mobobo simply went with everything as all procedures go and say a word. As they made it to the queen she bowed along with Alsa when catching up.

"Do raise thy heads, I-- Hold on, would thee be from Cid's ship. I do not see him among you?"

"Yes, yes I'm afraid he's back doing maintenance but that aside it is we who you want to see" Mobobo said pulling out a letter and extending her arm to the side. Oliviert grabbed the letter and took it to the queen immediately who's eyes were squinted before her brow rose in curiosity. The woman sighed before opening this very letter and examined it's contents slowly. Mobobo took in her breath as she waited for the queen to finish and looked to the others. Alsa stood in awe looking around and to the queen, she's never been in such a place of royalty aside from the federation's high priestess chamber which even then was publicly available. Suddenly the queen sighed.

"Grim news... and here burn this in that plate Oliviert" She said holding the letter and pointing to the plate near her chair upon the stool to the right. Assuming it was done, the woman began speaking.

"To all who do not know I am Queen Sera'veilan, It is an honor to see you amongn us. I will address Cid later but to you all, the contents as I've said were grim but needed. The duke would be a fool to set into motion without our regards and... for them to see such a sight and experience unusual events at such a time.. I do not blame him... However my answer will have to be thought up and written to the least. Simply things are happening and to assume we'll be talking of war is just so daunting" She said rubbing her forehead with her fingers before observing each and every person in the room. Her eyes first went to Mobobo who she recognized and talked with a bit in the past. She found in odd how she wore her white wizard clothing even when she resigned. Next she went to Alsa, her eyes blinked seeing the blue attire and lance behind it. It was obvious she had been a lancer yet she had no idea she was the new Dragoon. The woman slowly but surely turned to Halcyon and her finger tips went to her lips.

"Perhaps.. before I give my reply you could do something for me." She said looking over to Oliviert and giving a sly wink.

"You see, you did come at a rather interesting time and It would be much help to me by doing this. My young elf here had just discovered something rather interesting and true for my reign. This only makes me want to move forward and do so, however... the problem is, I can not bare to send him alone as capable as he may be. I need you to follow Oliviert and go to "Trion's Tomb" Inside you may find a red stone... bring it to me"

Oliviert, you know there is a lot more to it then that but she pretty much said what they needed to know. Mobobo squinted and asked in curiosity.

"Just an ORDINARY red stone, my queen?" The taru said crooking her eye brow up.

Alsa couldn't help but feel slightly weighed down as the queen spoke. Something about her just felt powerful and as her eyes went to the throne it was well shown why too. She did look towards Mobobo when she asked if it was just a normal stone curious if she once again knew something that she was hiding to herself.

The queen shook her head before turning to Halcyon.

"You have your orders... as for you girl. I'm assigning you to this task as well... your companions will not be joining... I can't have more then three of you in on this but I can at least give you a good chance of redemption... So on that note, do you have any questions? If not Oliviert please tell them what you want them to know and then show them to the guest quarters. We will have them stay there tonight." She said before walking back to her throne and becoming in thought.

Oliviert took the letter and grabbed a candle, watching as its corner darkened and curled while the flames spread. He didn't particularly like acting as messenger and personal letter-burner, but she was his Queen, and his friend. Besides, he owed her lot from the many gifts and opportunities she had given. When fully burned, he left it and replaced the candle, coming back to the conversation just as it began to change to something he was involved with. The Queen winked slyly, and his lips curled slightly at the corner. He returned his facial expression before any could notice, he hoped.

"My young elf here had just discovered something rather interesting and true for my reign. This only makes me want to move forward and do so, however... the problem is, I can not bare to send him alone as capable as he may be." Oliviert stood up to his full height at her words, partly from pride, partly because he felt as if he had to prove something. As if she didn't think him capable at all and he had to prove her wrong. He scanned the crowd with his eyes, which fell on a pair of hazel orbs staring back. The young black mage frowned at him slightly, though not maliciously. He inclined his head politely. The teen returned the favour, albeit reluctantly, shortly after. They broke their eye contact. He couldn't quite tell if the teen was just being curious or was judging his strengths and weaknesses he was looking over. He looked up as the Queen spoke again.
"I need you to follow Oliviert and go to "Trion's Tomb". Inside you may find a red stone... bring it to me." Oliviert sighed quietly, barely audible. 'A little too vague for my liking, but I suppose it is for the best. We can't have them knowing too much.'

After her dismissal, Oliviert looked to the group and took a deep breath. Anything that needed spoken of could be discussed on the way to their rooms. He approached them, then turned with grace and bowed to his Queen. Straightening, he gave a quick charming smile to them all, then gestured for the group to follow and glided across the floor and out of the door towards the guest rooms.

Jaspon's eyes were darting every direction as the travelled towards their rooms. A tidal wave of relief had crashed into him upon leaving the Queen. He had felt uncomfortable bowing to the Queen like that, but he had swallowed his pride - something he found difficult - and bowed gracefully. Shaking off the feeling she gave him, he continued after Oliviert. He was keeping a decent pace, but slow enough for a Taru to follow comfortably. Jaspon had come to realise that this Oliviert, though seeming a decent man, was not all that talkative. He had barely said a word since leaving his Queen. Deciding to be the first to start one, he drew in a breathe to speak.

So, Oliviert... ?" Jaspon asked quietly, catching the man's attention. The elf looked over his shoulder with a quick smile and answered.
"Aristan. My name is Oliviert Aristan." Jaspon nodded at his words and gave his own name before continuing.
"So, what do you do at the castle? Obviously something related to the Queen, right?" He hesitated slightly at the word "queen" but managed to mask it enough for the elf to not notice. The same elf who looked now slightly uncomfortable.
"I'm just a Chemist," he said with a shrug. "However, my family..." he winced, though it would be hard to notice, he had learned to hide his reaction to his family a long time ago. "They have close ties to the Queen. We've been friends for a long time, so she trusts me to do the occasional favour for her." Jaspon nodded as Oliviert turned his eyes back to the front, the conversation over.
'Definitely not the talkative type...'

He considered trying to begin another conversation, but figured there would be plenty of time to learn about him. They were going to Trion's tomb together after all. His father had always said that you learned more of someone during combat, than in conversation. Once again side-stepping that train of thought, Jaspon turned his mind to reciting different spells he could remember reading of - almost every one thanks to his memory skills.

Ahn'Veria(Castle)

As the group came to a halt in front of the Queen, Halcyon bowed in time with the other members. A swell of pride filled her chest at the thought of being in front of the queen. Once given permission, she righted herself and resumed her mercenary stance, only to have it broken by her slight smile.

While Queen Sera'veilan went on to welcome the strangers, Halcyon listened carefully to the new information. Her uncle was careful to shelter her from the brunt of what happened outside of Ahn'Veria. She had long suspected that he never assigned her missions that would take her too close to the borders for fear that she would learn of the ongoings of the world. To hear the Queen speak of war and unusual sights made Halcyon yearn for the outside world. She wanted nothing more than to go out into the unknown and bring glory to her guild, but she was given small, manageable assignments that bored her.

Halcyon stirred out of her personal musings as she locked eyes with the Queen. Immediately, she averted her gaze in a sign of respect for the powerful woman. As Sera'veilan gave the outsiders a new task, Halcyon found herself once again filled with emotion, though this time it was jealousy. Knowing it was petty to feel such, Halcyon kept her face stoic. She was jealous that the strangers were given a task by the Queen herself. She was jealous that they could come and go from Ahn'Veria as they pleased. She was jealous that they had a good reputation and exuded strength while she was left with being seen as weak. Though one could hardly blame her. She was nearly 20 and had nothing to show for it.

Sudddenly, the Miqo'te found herself enraptured by the Queens words. The proud woman spoke, "You have your orders... as for you girl. I'm assigning you to this task as well... your companions will not be joining... I can't have more then three of you in on this but I can at least give you a good chance of redemption... So on that note, do you have any questions? If not Oliviert please tell them what you want them to know and then show them to the guest quarters. We will have them stay there tonight." Halcyon could have jumped with joy. She could have lost composure and hugged the Queen, but she didn't. She simply nodded in acceptance to her new assignment while celebrating on the inside.

Now was her chance to prove them all wrong.

Ahn'veria (Castle - Throne Room)

Mobobo and Alsa watched the woman leave the room only for the last second for Mobobo to speak in a normal tone of hers.

"Quite suspicious if not just too vague for my taste but it did drive my interest why we'd be digging through a dead man's tomb… for one stone…"

Alsa looked over to the taru and couldn't help but think the same thing. A red stone for what reason? Could a simple stone change the impact on an entire kingdom? The questions and ideas only went on for a short moment when Oliviert finally introduced himself wanting to be called "Aristan". Mobobo too took in some interest as the elvaan described himself although rather blunt and vague as well. However Mobobo did recognize him although he was relatively younger and held no real matter or meaning to her. She only came to Ahn'veria for two things. One was appointments to the queen and the other was because it was the next town that held the most history unlike the more recently built cities (Garrom and Alexander). Never did she pay any mind to chemistry although she did think it was a wonderful profession.

The two females noticed the elf gesturing towards the exit to the long royal hall. Mobobo and Alsa walked over to Aristan. Both with faces that seemed to be full of questions although it was few. Alsa began before Mobobo even started. She figured that although the taru does ask a lot of good questions. She best ask what is needed before that series began. Else she'd become too tired and uninterested by the time it was her turn to ask.

"Excuse me, but what is this stone..? --" She began before looking down to Mobobo and raising her hand slightly gesturing to her. Mobobo looked up and crooked her eye brow curious of what she was going to ask before folding her arms.

"I can't help but wonder after what she said. This is no ordinary stone, what exactly are we looking for and what significance is this stone for?"

Mobobo then spoke rather loud.

"I have an idea for that, my dear lancer! However I do not think he will tell us the description of her majesty was rather vague as it is…"

(Vivi as a reminder: Aristan knows It's the Ifrit Stone. If you need the back story for it, PM me and I'll give you all the information he has on it).

Alsa shrugged.

"Well lets at least hear the reply he will give. It may have --- well lets keep it local as of now for some causes at least. Lets just continue on. I need to get back to Vidaria… So what do you have to tell us for now... Aristan before you lead us to our quarters" Alsa said.

(Vivi - if you want to say the information to the group PM me and I'll tell you of it if you think you'd know what is around there.)

Oliviert listened to the words of the Cremiere, and the loud Taru. Their questions were not unreasonable. It was clear that the Queen had been too vague, even to him. It was only fair for them to know what they were hunting, and why, before they set off on their adventure. But he wasn't stupid. The Queen had been vague for a very good reason. If people knew of her plans, there could easily be some who would attempt to stop her from obtaining the stone. But what would the group do if they found out only after they had receive the stone? The elf remained silent for a moment considering, then nodded his head and turned to the Cremiere. The former white wizard seemed more experienced, but her outburst and general way of gathering information put Oliviert off. He much preferred speaking with the Dragoon, a strange thought considering his general attitude to most other conversations.

"You are right, of course, that this is no ordinary stone. Ordinarily, I would agree with my frie-" Oliviert hesitated, then tried to restart as if nothing had happened, but stressed the word Queen slightly as he continued, "Queen, but I believe it is only fair that you all know of what you seek." Noticing he was speaking a little faster than he would normally, but not much, he took a deep breath and continued at a better pace.
"We are leaving in search of the Ifrit Stone."

Jaspon stopped in his tracks and turned his eyes on the Elf. The information he had of this was hilariously little, but he had heard people talking of Ifrit once before. Curious to hear more he followed, listening close.

"Created from Ifrit's flames," he paused, reluctant to say what they needed it for in fear of how they would receive the news, "it allows one to use the Flames of Ifrit if they are able to wield it." He tried to look up to Alsa's eyes for a moment, but he couldn't maintain the contact and looked away. "So I have heard, and read. Something that powerful... it was my duty to inform my Queen." Oliviert looked away worried. In an attempt to avoid whatever they would say to this, particularly the loud one, he walked slightly quicker to the guest quarters entrance now only a few meters away and opened the doors to a large room. The group of people who trusted his Queen grew fewer daily, and this would help little to disperse the rumours floating around about her.

He gestured to a door on one side with his hand. "This is the men's area. You will sleep there Jaspon." He gestured to the opposite side. "Women will sleep through the opposite door. I'm aware there is likely to still be many questions, but I have my duties to attend to so I must leave you here. I will answer any of your questions in the morning when we set out." He smiled sheepishly and hurried away from the group, not wanting to reveal any more.He had already said too much. If the Queen found out he had told them she would not be happy.

Jaspon started to work it over in his mind, thinking on Oliviert's description of the stone. He knew very little about any of it. However, he still worried. He knew exactly what power could do to someone. He was still dealing with the effects of it. And now apparently everyone else in the world had to suffer too. Pushing his old friend, turned enemy, from his mind, Jaspon replaced it with a different face. The girl that had first met them, the Miqo'te. He wasn't entirely sure why had had trusted her, but he knew she spoke the truth. Something else that remained a small mystery was her role in all of this. Jaspon assumed from the greatsword on her back that she was some form of warrior - a fact which surprised him greatly considering her general appearance - so it made some sense to send her, the girl now being one of the two true physical fighters. Another surprise was her clothes which were different form the typical colourful look of other Miqo'te people. Wanting to avoid swarming his mind with questions, Jaspon instead turned to his companions, ready to wish them good night. unless they had anything to say.
'If they're going to be discussing this, then I better stay to hear them out.'

Halcyon bowed her head as the Queen left the room, as was customary of her guild. Soon, she noticed the rest of the group heading off to their rooms. With a smile, she realized that she was trailing behind the group she had previously been escorting. She heard their questioning and understood their want for better information, but this was not the first mission she had been given with little to no background. Perhaps she was naive to nearly blindly follow orders, but so far she had not been steered wrong. In her experience, questioning her betters tended to warrant punishment, therefore she reserved it for when absolutely necessary.

Despite not wanting to question, she greedily absorbed the information that would definitely be helpful later on. Though she had trouble understanding some of the words being spoken, it was clear that the elf knew much more than he or the queen were letting on. This would make it difficult to trust him completely. Halcyon was one to share all the information that she was permitted with her group. Especially when their lives could be on the line.

While they walked, she felt eyes on her. She glanced through the corner of her eye, surprised to find that it was the young mage. Not wishing to start a confrontation, she made no acknowledging motions. Though she wondered what he was thinking as he looked her over, she did not want to ask. With a grim internal laugh, she thought perhaps he doubted her abilities. Her soft face hid a fierce warrior.

Ahn'veria (Castle - Throne Room)

Alsa and Mobobo watched the elf leave them. There eyes following with silence only hearing his foot steps slightly echo among the halls they were in. Alsa who had her arms crossed could only repeatably tap her arm with her right index finger as the man disappeared. She then looked over to Jaspon and then to the ever so silent Mi'qote. Although she didn't pay too much attention to her after there first encounter she did finally put a note that she indeed had a unfamiliarity with the common tongue which is rare now in days, especially when you live in one of the major nations. She planned to make sure she'd "formally" meet her before calling it a night. To a strong point though, she didn't really even want to do that. If she could she would've got the information and went herself to get back to her home. She had other duties to attend to, not deal with another nation's duties or affairs. The Cremiere sighed moving her long white hair from her eye before talking.

"I truly wonder how someone wields this stone and possesses the power of a god… If you ask me, that is way too much power for one person to have. Even at that, summoner's hold the power of summoning "Avatars" which the practice to that has even been unknown. I wonder how much magic it takes to use the actual power without summoning? If you ask me, this 'queen' is far more fierce then she appeared" Alsa said to the rest of the group then looked to Mobobo who would be the most knowledgable of the group about the situation.

Mobobo looked back into the cremiere's revealed eye and shrugged.

"What? You expect me to have an answer to all of this? Well… actually I do at least to a point. Every time I met with the queen, i felt as if something was going to tremble as if she was reaching the darkness within me and grasping onto my fears but it may be over exaggerating. I do not know what happened in this region but we must be careful and don't take the queen lightly. As for this stone, Archives of the primal stones were erased. Power is too great for one person to know and some people kill themselves trying to get that power. The magic is simply too much which is what worries me even further. There are mages and then there are sorcerers…" The taru explained and answered. Alsa placed her hand to forehead, only her finger tips touching the top. It felt rather uneasy hearing that small information but she could relate. The girl looked to the Mi'qote and walked over to her, placing a hand upon her own hip examining the warrior.

"Definitely different sight then Vidaria, I am curious, You've been quiet the entire time other then escorting us. Do you have any information you'd like to share with us?" The lancer asked. She really didn't expect a commoner to know any better then them but she figured because they're working together, best get her input"

Mobobo decided to stretch and walk towards the room. She turned before standing by her toes opening the door and looked back at Jaspon.

"Don't think about all of this too much. Answers will come but do be cautious of what occurs tomorrow…"

She then went in and closed the door walking over to a bed and laying down with her eyes closed.
