"Danni, I need you to go out and get me a few things." Isiakly told her as he stood in the doorway. His eyes were glazed over as if he had been drinking excessively...again. "When you get back, I'll take you out again." He smirked, exposing razor pointed teeth. Danni shivered at the thought of going out with him again. Last time, she had been beaten and almost didn't survive. She hated having to deal with him, or any other Balaal, for that matter.
"Alright." She replied then forced a small smile he probably wouldn't be able to see.
"Here, get yourself something nice for tonight." He said, tossing her a pouch full of Gil. After winking at her, he left.
Danni gathered all her things, which was not very much. She had a few bangles, her dolls, and then potions and phoenix downs. She pocketed the Gil and walked out of the shop, using the backdoor.
She ran as fast as she could. She wanted to get as far away as she could. "I have to get away! He might kill me this time!" She thought then nearly ran into a man with his sword out and guards interrogating him. Her blue eyes widened when she examined the man. A thought suddenly entered her head. "He could help me!"
She set her bag down and pulled out a doll, Mog. It looked like a normal Moogle doll. Nothing more. Her eyes focused on a few of the guards as she slowly closed her eyes and got ready for battle. "If they ingage, I help. If not, then I will just fallow him. If Isiakly finds me, I will just have to beg this man for his help."
Danni opened her icy eyes and pushed strands of her black hair back, along with the strands of purple and blue. She held the doll close to her chest, then whispered a few words in its ear to awaken it, and her own magic.

He was puzzled, as she looked at him with some sort of expectation. He raised an eyebrow.
"Can I......help you?" he said, bewildered.

If Isiakly found she had been asking people for help, he would kill her. If the man refused, she was just out of luck all around and would die. There was no two ways about it.
She stood, waiting for the man to answer when suddenly she heard the voice of a person that made her cringe. Her stomach turned and her heart began to pound with fear. Biheal, Isiakly's older and meaner brother. He was the one who had wanted Danni to begin with. He was the one who killed at least 10 of his servants ever couple of months.
"Danni girl! Come here." He called then smirked. "Who is your friend? I didn't think you were one to talk to people. Isiakly won't like you talking to men." He said then walked towards them.
Danni squeaked then took a few steps back. "I need an answer, sir." She whispered, her voice begging him to say yes. Her hands tightened around her doll as her magic was intensified. She was starting to panic, which made her magic levels unbalanced and go sky high. "Please help me." she added, keeping her eyes on Biheal.

"Wrong move." Cid said jabbing the guard in the face. He was soon surrounded by guards. He figured that would happen. No problem. Cid tightened his glove and punched then ground casting Thundara killing off almost all the guards. The last two jumped back almost to run away but they kept there ground. Cid ran up to the last two guards and punched them in the stomach, instantly knocking them out. He looked around when he saw the others around him fighting. He smirked then Let out a yell,"Listen up you guards! This day will shack your world!"

She shook her head a little before thinking about everything. She didn't want to get the man in trouble yet he looked like one who was strong enough to take Biheal. If Azura lost, Danni was sure to be dead.
"Did she steal something?" Biheal asked, pulling out his sword.
Danni shook her head then declared her attack. "Blizzara!" She yelled before Biheal was hit with it. With ease he shook the attack off then glared at her. "Dumb girl." He growled then lunged at her, ignoring Azura altogether. He grabbed her doll and tossed it to the side before grabbing her arm with one hand. "You little ungrateful wretch!" He yelled then raised his blade, about to slash through her.

When he started walking fast away and told her they needed to go, she grabbed her bag and walked as fast as he was. She smiled as she looked at him. "Thank." she stated then wondered how much money she had gotten. It would never be enough, no matter how much she paid Azura, but she wanted to give him something.

Good.
He led the girl down a street, turning into an alleyway to hide. Once everything seemed to have calmed down, Azura spoke to the girl. "I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name", he said to her. He looked out into the street. People clambered along, resuming their everyday activities: shopping, trading, even some were gambling. Azura smirked, watching a boy steal from a food stand. The shop owner didn't seem to notice.
Seting his blade against the wall, Azura sat back, waiting for the girl to respond to his question.
He closed his eyes, stroking his demonic arm with his left hand.

Danni suddenly heard the sound of someone running. Instinctively, she pushed herself up against the wall and pulled her hat down. Her eyes stared out of the ally way until she saw a few kids run. A large sigh escaped her lips before she pushed her hat back and looked back to the man. "Oh, and what is your name sir?" she asked, since she hadn't caught it earlier.

She had inquired about his arm, about why it looked the way it did. He decided not to answer, but he just smiled at her in response to the question. When she asked what his name was, he bowed in return, a knight's bow, down on one knee and head tilted down. "My name's Azura" he said. Standing up, he looked down the street. "I think it's safe to go", he said.
They walked out and around the market area. Azura stopped. He had something on his mind.
"That balaal", he started, "what did it want with you?" He was quite curious as to why someone could have a vendetta against Danni. It didn't seem to make sense to him.

As they walked out and around the market area, Danni watched as Azura stopped. His question was one she had hoped he wouldn't ask until they were away from the area, but she knew it was coming eventually. "I belong to his brother. I am...." she paused, not sure if she should use past tense or not. "I am a slave. They use me for my magic skills and for other stupid jobs. Biheal always wanted to buy me off his brother, but he said no. But I am running away. I am tired of being a slave. There is more in life than just serving them! There has to be! The Goddess tells me so." She said then took a deep breath while trying to calm herself. She didn't like going into the subject of her servitude. "If Biheal would have caught me, he was going to kill me. If Isiakly catches me, he will probably do the same." She finished then sighed. "Sorry." It was the last thing she could say. It was the only thing left to say.

"I have never been out of Vacia but that sounds pretty good." she told him then smiled. "Where are we going to go?"

She fallowed him into the market and into the shop 'Faz Supplies'. In walking inside, she felt a little weird but ignored that feeling. She looked to the man who Azura spoke with and smile a little when Azura stated her name for her. She knew her face showed how scared she was to be in a place like this, but her hat covered it until the only thing that was visible was her mouth, and barely that.
When Azura told her it was going to be a while, she nodded and sat on the bench next to him. "Can we trust him?" she asked in less than a whisper as she leaned over, nearly laying her head on Azura's chest. She didn't mean to get so close, but she didn't want anyone else to hear her either.

Danni jumped to her feet when Faz walked back out with their papers. She smiled to the man lightly but gave a genuine smile when he made the comment about her taking care of herself. "Thank you sir" She said as Azura lead her to the door. "Take care." she added then walked out behind Azura. She smiled as she fallowed him towards the West Gate. Her heart swell with joy at the thought of actually getting away.

Danni fallowed Azura towards the West Gate. She smiled and began to relax a little. She was finally getting out. She watched everyone around her but until they got to the slums. She pulled her hood down and kept her eyes on the ground, not wanting to see the place she used to live in. She knew all to well what those people were going through and the way they lived. She once lived there.
They continued to walk until they were a little ways away from the gate. Suddenly a roaring voice she knew called out to them. She turned around, grabbed a doll from her bag, and got ready. "I'm leaving." she mumbled while shuttering.

"Yes. That's right. Don't even think about it". The balaal was mocking Azura, letting him know the consequences of trying to kill him. Azura gritted his teeth. He would love nothing more than to cut the monster down. However, he had his and Danni's escape to think of. He couldn't just kill him in plain sight of everyone else.
Or could he? He got an idea.
"Go, I'll catch up", he told her.
He drew his sword and looked at the creature, eyes intent on bloodshed. Azura licked his lips lustfully. "You're goin' down", he said, his voice tainted with Ghaal's low growls.
