Name: Kamon
Age: 40
Race: Human?
Class: Warrior/Knight
Favorite Weapon: His broadsword. He is never seen without it.
Appearance:
Tall and strong, with flowing silver hair and bright blue eyes, he can be a horror to behold. Between his pale coloring and dark clothing, terrified enemies have been left gibbering madly about "walking death". His terrifying appearance has grounds in reality, of course. His entire body is laced with muscles, and covered with scars, both from magic and from blades. His entire left arm is burnt to a blackened crisp; the reason, he is rather tired of saying, that he is no longer left-handed.
Personality: Though in battle he becomes dark, silent, and generally fits the description of “walking death”, his image outside of battle has a slightly different flavor to it. Though he is still quiet, brooding, and generally not very social, he also has the problem of being distinctly unfriendly, whereas when he is fighting, at the very least he has the kindness to ignore the people around him. He is well known for tossing insults around, making scathing, sarcastic comments, and doing everything he possibly can to chase people away. Of course, there is still a man beneath the thorny, icy shell. If someone manages to burrow past the layers of hatred and cynicism, he is actually a fairly good friend. He will never be willing to have a long, engaging and deep conversation, but he will never tolerate anyone being mistreated. He will kill anyone who tries to hurt his friends, probably a few times over.
History: He has been a Guardian since he was in his teens, as his father was a High Summoner. He has been to Zanarkand, and survived the trip there and back. He has seen the horrors, he knows how the pilgrimage ends. He has been traveling all his life, serving Summoner after Summoner, hoping to someday find a way to stop the vicious cycle. So far, he has failed to find that way. But he is still trying. Some years ago, he ran into Troy, as he was traveling with the Summoner, Edge’s late father and mother, Amul and Leona. They had a quick talk and went on their way, but Kamon never forgot the man. Following the deaths of Amul and Leona, and both of the other Guardians who traveled with them, Kamon experienced a period of crippling depression. “The Walking Death” simply vanished from the face of Spira. It was assumed that he was dead. But he wasn’t, and eventually, he came out again with a new purpose. To find the boy called Edge, who Amul and Leona spoke about so often, and to stop him from killing himself in the Final Summoning. Or die trying.
Likes: Very little. Battle, maybe? Not really… pretty much nothing. (this is not true, but he would never admit it) (Oh… He secretly likes music.)
Dislikes: … think of something. That’s it. Yeah. Everything. (this is something else he will never admit is false… though it’s truer than his likes)
Hobbies: Killing. Being a Guardian. That’s pretty much it.
Fears: He would never admit this, but he is absolutely petrified of drowning. This being the reason he always stays
inside during boat rides.
Weaknesses: His left arm is a limp, useless, blackened crisp. Get rid of his right arm, and he’s pretty much screwed.
Life Goal: To find a way to destroy Sin, or at least bring the Calm, without killing a Summoner and sacrificing a Guardian.
