Introduction
Queen Miciah has been assassinated. Following a trail of dead guards, Sothe found her in her dying moments. She never even heard the man enter through the door, or dispatch the guards....
With Michiah out of the picture, Pellas retakes the throne, due to his mother's unwillingness to rule. Enraged, he now points his finger at the country that has never had a strong relationship with Daein: Begnion. A war soon erupts between the two countries, engulfing the entire east of Tellius into war...but that's not all that's happening...
Sothe needs to find out who assassinated Miciah, and why they did it. He has no leads, but if it kills him, he will find who did this to his love. He gathers what militia he can, and sets out on a quest to find clues...
Elincia is confused. What had been a peaceful time in the last few years has been destroyed by a little mistrust. She doesnt know whom to side with. Begnion has long sided with Crimea in times of war, but as far as is known, the assassin COULD'VE been from Begnion. Sanaki wasnt above those tactics. All this made her head spin. She wished Ike were here....he'd know what to do.
Meanwhile, Goldoa and Phoenicis merely keep their head down. They want nothing to do with this war.
Kilvas has decided to make some profit from this, becoming mercenaries for Daein.
Gallia waits on Crimea's reply to war. The new king Skirmir supports Elincia, as they have been close allies since the rule of Cainghis.
The NEW Greil Mercenaries are also siding with Crimea. Ike left at the end of the war with Ashera, leaving the Mercnaries in Mist's command. She's an inexperienced commander, but she firmly stands by Elincia's side. Most of the Mercenaries have retired anyway, and made way for new recruits.
Seeing Crimea gain support from Gallia and the Greil Mercenaries makes each side eager for their support, adding pressure to Elincia's situation.
The blood tide rises within Tellius, as war rages on. The fate of Begnion, Daein....All of Tellius now lies on the shoulders of valliant heroes on all sides...

His gear leaned on the wall next to him, his massive tower shield, and greataxe. His blade was always on his hip, in a large black leather sheath. He rarely carried a helm on him nor did he need it. He was a tall man, and a large one too. He could easily pick another man up with one arm. He listened in on the conversation, his dull blue eyes keeping visuals on the door.
"Pelleas, I'm not sure what else we can do. You are aware that Begnion is a significantly larger country, with quite a few more men then ours." an older general said.
"Not to mention, their moral is tons higher! It does not look good for you, Mi'lord." another chirped.
"Well." Pelleas said, looking amongst the men surrounding him. "Then we'll just have to out-fight them. If there is anything in this war we have, it is supplies. We have always been a country of plentiful supplies. And use unorthidox tactics, hide in buildings, in crates, archers fire down from atop roofs. There is simply no way we're going to just 'give in', gentlemen!"
"But, your Highness..." the all stuttered...
"But nothing, General. You are dismissed, and as are you all. If you need me, I will be in my private study. I need to think as well..." Pelleas finished. Darron pushed himself from his sitting position, his armor clanking and pounding against itself generously. He walked over to the door to Pelleas's study, stepping inside. It looked normal. Nothing out of place, no motion...nothing wrong.
Pelleas stepped around him, nodding to him in return. "Thank you, Darron...would you leave me now?"
"Your Highness." Darron said sternly. "I am obligated to protect you, wherever you reside."
"Darron. I understand your concern, as Miciah died recently. I assure you, we are all burdened by this loss...but you mus'nt be paranoid. There are only two ways in and out of this room; through the door, and through the window. Someone would have to be an imbicle to try and scale a castle to get to me. So the only way someone is to get through is through those doors..." Pelleas spoke to Darron as he walked towards a dark oak desk in the room.
"Sire, you..." Darron tried to interject.
"I am capable of defending myself, no? You've seen my skill with magic, and If anything, I can say a spell faster than a man can run. Please. Stop your fretting, and relax, friend. I am safe enough." Pelleas told him gently. Smiling, Pelleas turned around gazing out the large window behind him. Darron nodded. "As you wish, Sire." he stated, turning around and stepping out the door, closing it behind him. Maybe Pelleas was right....maybe he was being too cautious.
Darron walked from the war hall, decending the stairs, and stepping into the main hall. He walked slowly down it, his eyes locked in front of him, glazed over, lost in though. He was brought back around when he stepped into the courtyard. The sound of steel against steel? It must've been coming from the barracks. He plodded across the courtyard to the barracks, swinging open the door. Sure enough, the soldiers that were inside the building were sparring. He smiled, walking amongst them. Perhaps he could make some fun out of this drab day after all!

Pworo watched as Begnion soldiers destroyed the puny wave of Daein infantry. He was doing his job, but he hated seeing Begnion win. Of course, he never let his true feelings toward the country be known, or else he would probably be killed by his fellow soldiers. At the slightest chance, Pworo would switch sides, hence the reason he didn't make friends with any of the soldiers on his side.

"Alright boys! Arm up! We're moving out! There is a Begnion outpost about two hours from here that we're seiging. Our boys are having trouble making it past the archers, so we'll need to go and back them up."
Darron lit up with excitment. "Begnion dogs? They're as good as slain!" he exclaimed. "What are we waiting for?! Lets get mounted up, and get moving!" Darron yelled with anticipation. In just a few minutes, Darron along with another battalion of Soldiers were on horseback, riding full speed at the Begnion outpost. They would reach it temporarily....and sooner than later, Darron hoped. He was too eager for battle...
The group finally arrived at the outpost. Daein snipers and marksmen were firing back at the Begnion ones, but they had the severe advantage of cover. His forces were setting up a Ballista, but it would be another long while before it was ready to fire even a small bolt. He grinned, raising his massive tower shield in front of him. He heard the several "Plings" of arrows bouncing off of the hardened steel. It was a empowering sound, as if he were a juggernaut among the average troops....oh wait! He -was-. He looked around the battlefield, and raised his axe in the air. "MEN OF DAEIN!" he shouted at the top of his lungs, his deep voice booming across the plain. "LET US SMASH BEGNION'S PUNY ENCAMPMENT! LET THEM KNOW THAT THEY HOLD NO FIELD AS LONG AS DAEIN HAS SOMETHING TO SAY OF IT!". With that, he began to charge into the battlefield. For him, it was more of a fast walk into the battlefield. His armor was extremely heavy, even for him. But he had plenty of protection, and didnt have to worry about being hit by dangerous arrows, like the common soldier did.

Pworo had made it to a dense forest, and he climbed up a tree, his bow slung on his back. He could see the fighting from where he was, and would wait for a chance to see if he couldn't join Daein. He was scared they wouldn't trust him, but he would try anyways.
Setting

He was now inside the outpost. Begnion must've not been here long. They had few supplies, and not everything was unpacked. Another man found his way to Darron. "Take this, you bastard!" he yelled at the bulk in front of him, swinging his blade recklessly. Darron brought his foot to the myrmidon's gut, then brought his other knee up to his face. He literally walked over the man, crushing him with near 300 pounds of mass. He grinned to himself. "This is too damn easy! I might as well do this by myse-...Hey! Get off of me, punk!" Darron exclaimed, an enemy soldier managing to sneak up behind him, and hop on his back. Darron began to shake, trying to fling the man off of him, with no avail. The man was armred with a dagger, and stabbing the weaker joints of his armor. "Would...you....get...off?!?!" he yelled. Finally, Darron jolted his elbow back, into the soldiers groin, causing him to let go. Darron's axe met his shoulder, and near hewed the man in two. " Tha hell! Tha'll teach you!"
Darron continued to battle inside. His troops seemed to be both suprior in number and skill. He grinned, yelling again throughout the outpost.
"KEEP PUSHING! NO QUARTER! PUSH THESE WRECHES FROM THEIR HIDING PLACE!".
Again, Darron entered combat. This time, with a rather large swordsman. Darron smirked, roaring as he picked up his shield, and ran to the man, trying to bring his axe down upon him. The swordsman cut the handle of his axe, leaving Darron armed with a pole. Darron barked at the man. "Hey! Those are expensive!" The man came at him with the sword again. His speed was rather impressive, but Darron's armor created an effective barrier. Darron continued to try and smash the man in the head with his stick of an axe, but he kept dodging. "Hold...still....so I can clobber you!" He called to the swordsman, whom was still attacking him. It was a stalemate so far: Darron couldnt catch the swordsman, and he couldnt hurt Darron. Darron roared, dropping the wooden handle to his axe, reaching out and grabbing the swordsman with his right hand. Panicing, the swordsman burried his sword into Darron's shoulder. Surprisingly, the high quality Wa-doo pierced Darrons armor, causing him to groan. "Aaauuuooo....that. WASNT. VERY. NIIIIIICE!!!!" Darron roared, bringing the swordsman into him, headbutting him. A loud crack filled the air as their skulls met. Darron dropped the swordsman, and pulled his blade out of his armor. "Concider yourself a prize winner. You're the first of this battle to pierce my armor." he grinned, walking back over, and reaquiring his axehandle. The swordsman, still dazed, was unable to defend himself as Darron brought the hand down on his back. He proceeded to beat the swordsman with the hilt of a weapon, untill he was black and blue. "Congratulations, boy. You earned an arse kicking. But you keep your life, today." Darron said, ending his assualt with a fierce kick to the ribs.
The battle progressed untill the inevitable resolution: Daein being victorious. Darron panted as he watched the rest of the troops run off into the distance. "Run, cowards! Ruuuuun!" he called after them.
He walked outside of the outpost holding his wounded shoulder. He grinned to himself, realizing he was in his prime. He had just fought a skirmish, with only one major wound. He had a few minor ones, but only because his foes had ambushed him a few times. He also had quite a few holes in his armor, from where his attackers tried to wound him. He observed these, and chuckled at their foolishness. Attack a marshall head on? What were they, stupid?
He walked around, finally deciding to set on a rock with a tired groan. He looked around him...

It had been about two hours now and they were getting rilided up. Two fights had almost broken out and some of the men were getting touchy feely with the bar maidens. Then one crossed the line, he spanked Koran's friend right on the butt. As Koran stood his chair fell out from under him, he took a full out run at the man and tackled him over. He began to attack the man mercilessly. "YOU BASTARD NEVER TRY THAT AGAIN!" After Koran felt the man had enough he stopped punching and stood up. Everyone else was quiet just staring at him. "Letโs go." He said to the bar maiden with his hand extended. She took it and the two fled from the bar.

Darron looked down at him. "What we always do, boy. Wait for say from fishies higher on the food chain than us. All we can do it recoperate and rest. Do you have the statistics from that skirmish?"
"Yessir." The soldier replied. "It was a little more honest than we thought. About an eighth of our men are dead, and a fourth are wounded. Their archers really put a hurting on us."
"Fine, fine...thanks. Dismissed." Darron said causally, saluting the soldier in return.
He retook his seat on the rock, leaning forward. He thought to himself for a while, contemplating what Begnion's next move would be. Surely they would retaliate, but how soon? With what numbers? It took at least a day for word to reach Begnion command, so he figured he had at least that much. He honestly could use intelligence right now. Where were those damn Crows when you needed them? They made great spies...
He pushed himself to a stand again. He figured he'd best find a quartermaster to mend his armor, and see if he could find another greataxe. They were rather rare among the infantry though. He started the walk inside, dragging his tired feet.

In the morning the two gathered up and set out, they took enough food and water to last about three days, in the mornings the soldiers were all off protecting their side of the border so the town had cleared up. After about an hour of walking they arrived at the border gate. Koran walked up and a spear was thrust out in front of his face. He pushed it out of the way and got right into the mans face. Then he realized who it was, the man he had beaten up yesterday smiled in his face. "Ello mate."

Not too long ago...
Micaiah, the once destined Apostle of Begnion,; though through her supposed death never was able to claim the position; was now the ruler of Daien. She was just, and fair. With Peace looming over the continent of Tellius, the world was finally being rebuilt after years of war and bloodshed. Things we're going too well to stay that way for long however. There were creatures on the world that wanted nothing more then chaos and complete destruction of the world. Scythe was one of those creatures. The world didn't deserve peace. It needed to die and take everyone with it.
The day of the assassination.
Scythe was planning it for weeks. The death of the queen had to be out of nothing. No warning, no reason, no witnesses.
She was in her room alone, at least that's what she thought. Scythe had been there for hours. Hidden in the darkness, just waiting to make his move.
"Please stand down early tonight. We are in an age of peace there is no need to stand guard right outside my room all the time. I can handle myself if I need too, but I'm sure things will be fine." Micaiah called out to her subordinates. They had to listen to her, she was the queen. She was just lucky that Sothe wasn't around then. He had been on a mission and hadn't yet returned. Was she really lucky though? If she knew the future would she think it was luck for Sothe to have not been there? No, no one would.
Micaiah was settling down for the day. She had taken a bath, changed, and was ready to get into bed. Next to it she paused, placing her hand on a Thani tome next to her bed. That's when Scythe made his move. He jumped out, slamming Micaiah in the back of the head with the blunt end of his Scythe. The Thani tome fell next to her on the ground. She placed a hand on it and struggled to get to her feet. She turned to face her assailant. She looked at him. "Answer... me... one... question... Why?..." She asked.
Scythe eyed her up. That blow did more damage then anticipated. He could've ended it in one move using his ability. "Why, you ask? The world must die. Your death will start the chain that will lead to the worlds destruction. Don't worry though. I'll make it as painless as possible from this point."
Micaiah just stood there opening up Thani. She unleashed a light attack grazing Scythe's left arm. Scythe only grinned. "Your magic will not be able to harm me so easily. Perhaps you should've kept better magic with you." Scythe's weapon began to glow blood red. He swung the Scythe at he torso. She didn't move. She just accepted her fate, as she wasn't ready to fight an opponent such as Scythe. The blood splattered across her bed and back wall. After it was over she lay on the ground in a pool of blood, a gash almost cutting her in half, and Thani on her chest stained with her blood. Scythe escaped through the window, disappearing into the darkness.
He didn't want to admit it but her magic did more damage then he let on. It would take a few days to heal after he used Blood Rage on her. Things had been set into motion though. Now to sit back and watch the chaos unfold. Off to Begnion he went.

Smiling, the girl nodded her acknowledgment of his little feat. "When're we leaving?"
Looking out onto the streets, Tyr gave a light shrug. "Can't say. I think we can get some more good from this place if we hang around a little longer, just until things calm down." Shea didn't say anything, but he knew her well enough to know what she was thinking. "You know, if you're that bored I could always teach you to juggle." At this she looked away and Tyr knew he had made her content with waiting quietly for a while. "Don't worry, it won't be like this for long. Something'll happen, I can feel it."

He sighed. It was mid spring, yet already burning up. He knew the summers were going to be harsh this year. But other things resided on his mind too. He had a small thing bothering him. Though he hadnt been majorly wounded, it reminded him that he and everyone else were mortal...he had remembered walking in on Miciah's corpse, nearly hewn in half. He hoped that his dear Pelleas had taken precautionary measures, and at least guarded himself with his tome, and hired royal guard members to support him. He knew Pelleas was no pushover when it came to magic...not to mention Balberith, his most powerful spell, was a literal black hole. And as far as he knew, you really couldnt get more powerful than a black hole...
The assassin must've been quite the strong fighter. Not that Darron wasnt, but it worried him. Who was behind this terrible murder? That boy Sothe was behind an investigation, with some Mercenaries of his own...he wondered if they had any success.... Darron realized how far he had wandered in his little night walk from the base, as he drowned in his mind. He turned on his heels, and began to walk back, his thoughts washing over him again. Begnion was the likely murderers. He knew that the ruler, Sanaki, was not above sending assassins. Spys were common among their ranks too, seeing how begnion was the richest country, and could afford these luxeries. But Daein had their advantages too...though he had not seen him in a day or so, King Naesala was a greedy crow, who could be influenced by shiny bobbles. They'd be easy to control.
Darron looked up just in time for him to almost run into the wall. He would really have to stop doing that. His mind was full, and he couldnt empty it. There was far too much going on. Maybe, he hoped, that somethign would happen to help him keep his mind off of things...

Re: [OOC] Fire Emblem: Fading Radiance
However, is somebody wants to restart this, I think it needs something.
More direction.
From what I saw there was no real movement in the plot, and everything was the players ideas.
My recomendation? Keep players like Peleas, Sanaki, the assassin, etc as NPCs and have the players form a special unit dedicated to searching out the truth.

If anyone wishes to remake this though, I'm just a pm away and am willing to give it another shot, so definitely message me.
Until we rp together again.

Re: [OOC] Fire Emblem: Fading Radiance
I think one of the issues is that the RP place was MASSIVE. Tellius is big continent, and you want to experience all of it...but you cant. If everyone is too spaced out, there isnt any interaction. Not interaction, means nothing eventful, which makes the RP dull. So make the RP big enough to feel like a world, but small enough to where you're not dealing with massive proportions.
Another thing is that we didnt get many of the positions filled. Perhaps it would be best to skip those in a future RP, and have a GM control the NPCs entirely.
Well. Again, thank you for being so willing to put something into this, and I'm sorry that you got nothing out of it. I'd make it up to you if I could, but I dont know how.
Sincerely, Vio-Lance.
Re: [OOC] Fire Emblem: Fading Radiance
I'd make up my 2nd character but if this is deserted and won't be able to really continue, then why bother (don't take that the wrong way).

I didn't say she ever did. i said she was destined to be it being Sanaki's older sister. I'll edit it to make it more clear though.
