Elliane let out a fierce cry as she jabbed the training lance in the blue knight's direction, the larger foe parrying the attack with his own practice spear. The crack of wood sounded again and again, as the practice weapons smashed against each other in rapid succession. Elly grunted as she moved the oak staff she wielded defensively, keeping the Knight's training lance at bay as she pushed the attack away from her. The small girl twirled around lightly, and forced the pommel of the weapons against the knight, hoping to knock him down. But the blue armored giant took the front of the attack, and seemed unmoved, bringing his weapon forth, and jabbing Elly harshly in the sternum, knocking her back a few feet, landing on her back, her armor offering just a little bit of clanking against each other. She pushed herself up from the ground as the man in blue armor lumbered nearer. She took a ready stance again, and rushed him again.

Again and again, the sticks clattered against each other filling the air with harsh smashing sounds. The knight parried yet another one of the girl's attacks, and pressed the shaft of the weapon hard against her own, bearing heavily over the girl. Her arms were obviously weaker, but didn't give in. Her knees, however, buckled, and she fell to a kneel, bracing herself heavily against her foe. He pressed harder against her, her training weapon bending under the stress. She grinned though, as the man was focusing too hard on his submission attack.... Elly jerked her own weapon out from under the knight's, and swept her body to the right, allowing the other weapon to hit the ground with a heavy thud, and throwing the knight off balance. As he stumbled forward, Elly smashed her training lance against his back, causing him to topple face first onto the ground. She let out an excited cheer, before the knight began to get back up, his heavy blue armor clattering as he did.

Yet again, the wooden weapons were to meet, clapping against each other. The knight wasn't holding back anymore. His movements were faster, and harder, becoming more difficult to block. Elly could barely think, before she felt the blunt of the training lance smash her leather covered gut, knocking the wind out of her. She lurched over, coughing slightly, as she felt the lance rear back, and pound her in the exact same area, knocking her back, and causing her to tumble over. She caught her breath, as quickly as she could manage, and wiped the sweat from her forehead, before staggering back to a standing pose, and readying herself for another onslaught. The knight came forward again, and resumed his fierce attacks, Elly significantly tired from fatigue. She could just barely keep up with the man now, before his lance walloped her forearm, causing her to yip in pain, and release the grip on her lance with said arm. Her foe's training lance then shot under her arm, smacking against her armpit, and almost flipping her to the side. She hit the ground shoulder first, panting as she slowly pushed herself from the ground into a sitting position.

She again wiped her forehead on her sleeve, before standing up, and taking her stance again, her still aching arm hanging loosely from her side. She went all offensive, seeing how she couldn't defend herself as well with only one arm. The training lance jabbed forth again and again against the man, the spear being deflected every time. The knight's lance came forth, and jabbed her chestplate again, sending her toppling over again. This time she didn't rise, simply lie on the ground, panting heavily. Her eyes looked towards the sky, the day just begining. She heard the knight's armor as he approached her, the heavy metal clanking together like a hammer hitting an anvil. She felt the ground tremble as he got even closer. Her head cocked up at him, her mouth still gaping wide and panting. He looked down to her, before pulling off his helm, and revealing the blonde hair and broad face that were his features, moreso than his blue armor.
"I'd say that's it for now, Elly." He said, smirking. His huge armored arm shot down towards her, offering her a hand to get up.

Elly took his gloved hand, and pulled herself to a stand, leaving her training lance on the ground. He smiled, patting her back and shoulders free of the dust and grass where she fell multiple times. "You're getting better, Elly. Maybe in a year or two, you can finally stand up to ol' Gatrie." he said to her. She offered a smirk, before laughing lightly. "A year? Yeah right. If I keep this up, I could beat you in a half of one, tops!" She said antagonizingly.
"Oh? You think so?" Gatrie retailiated. "We'll just see then. But if you ask me, you waste your beauty on fighting!" He said, being his usual self, even around girls Elly's age.
"Hah. I'll have time for beauty when the war is over, you lug. Right now I'll focus on helping end it." She said in a noble, almost high bearing tone.
"Well then, 'Little Titiana'," Gatrie said, poking fun at her. " we'll simply have to end it faster, won't we?" He said, offering her a soft pat on the head. "But enough of that talk. We're not in the war yet, you know. We still have to see what Soren and the others decide to do. They usually let the bitter brainiac handle things like this. Mist is too emotional. And your mother.... Well..." He started.

Elly smiled at him nudging him. "I know what you're saying." She said happily. She would wrap her arms around him, and give him a slight hug. "Thanks, Gatrie. I'll see you later, okay?" She said, walking away from the Mercenary camp. Her mother and father knew she would wander around the town occasionally, and allowed her to do so. She began shortly into town of Grall, a town that bordered Daein and Crimea, but was actually Daein's. She wondered what the town had in store for her, as she walked the dirt path that lead into it....

Elliane strode the streets of Grall easily, sighing as she rested her a little stiff body. Training sessions with Gatrie were tough, but nothing like her father's. She just thanked herself that her father was usually helping his mother these days. The lightly armored girl looked through the town, seeing that there wasn't a lot of great activity. There was a goods shop or two, and an armory, but this small town perhaps was too out of the way for anything of great importance. She noted that she'd have to check the armory later, and see what they made and were selling.

Elly's eyes drifted over to a couple of street preformers. They looked like twins, a stern resemblence between them. She stood and watched for just a minute, before walking to their tip bag, reaching into her own coin bag, taking ten coins from it, and dropping them into theirs. She smiled, and walked on her way, feeling...oddly enough, no longer fatigued. She would shrug the feeling off, and continue into the town. She would go to the small marketplace, and buy a large green apple. She would continuously munch on the fruit as she resumed her walk through town. She would check all of the shops that sold anything of use to her, and the armory, having nothing more than iron weaponry. She'd walk back out of the armory, and from it's stoop, look around. Yet again, her eyes found the two twins. She smiled, and would finish the last of her apple, dispose of the core, and begin to walk over to them.

Elliane grinned as she got but a few feet from them, smiling gently down at them. "You're really good at that, you know." She said, placin her arms behind her back. "Your dancing completely distracted me from the fact I was tired. Have you been doing it long?" She would ask as she inspected them...

"That's okay. It's just like the clerics and priests that you see with healing staves. Everyone plays a role." Elliane said, smirking. "And, yes. Elliane. About about as green as it comes, but don't underestimate me either!" She annonced, puffing out her chest. "Whom might you two be, huh?" She asked, placing her hands on her hips. "I can't say I've seen you around too much - sorry."

Elliane watched as yet another man was relieved of his fatigue. "Amazing magic, you know...but I've heard that some dancers have found ways to use their dance to control magic through body movements, kind of like how a mage or sage controls them through words. But I've never seen it happen." Her eyes drifted down to Kayl. "Are you her guardian?" She giggle lightly. "Or a bard without an instrument. A lute or another stringed instrument would work well with her dancing. Maybe a bugle too." She said, smiling at him.
