Yui Nightgale's Story

As everyone began to scream Yui closed her eyes, and accepted her fate. She had known it would happen someday, of course her death was coming sooner than expected but she had come to terms with it long ago. As the plane plunged into the icy depths, the plane began to fill with seawater. And the windows slowly cracked and broke open more water gushing in. She unbuckled her seat belt and used the seats to climb to the front exit, where she opened the door with effort and was sucked out into the blue. It was quiet out there. Yui floated with the current momentarily, before survival instincts kicked in. She swam for the surface unsure which way was up and which way was down, as she broke the surface she gulped in air before the high waves shoved her back under once again. As she broke surface a second time, she saw the glint of an island not to far off. She began swimming in the direction of the island, and as she got closer, her determination grew. The adrenaline kept her from feeling the pain as the the waves drug her under and her legs hit the reefs below. As she got closer, a wave drug her under a final time, and the force knocked her unconscious.

She was dead, she could see the bright light. Oh wait, that was the sun. She squinted her eyes against the bright sun, holding up a hand to block it out. She scanned the beach from where she lay, she had made it to the island, but she didn't remember how. The storm had long passed, and birds could be heard from the trees.
She made an attempt to stand, and failed. She collapsed into the sand, and examined her legs, there were deep gouges into them, and they were bruised something fierce, she suspected from the aching in the rest of her body, the rest of her looked just about the same. She made a final attempt, and succeeded. She scanned the beach, wondering if she was the only survivor.

Yui had a headache, the worst one she had ever had. She thought her head was going to explode. She moaned slightly and grabbed her head rolling slightly, she pulled her hands back in shock as there was warm gooey liquid on her head. She looked at her hands, turning slightly pale, as her hands were coated in dark red blood. She crawled towards the ocean, and began painfully washed her wound, every splash causing her to cry out in pain. As the water slowly began to clear, she ripped her shirt, and tied it around her head, to stop the new warm ooze of blood. As she tied it tight her vision started to fade as pain wracked her body, as it came back she began to scan the beach, seeing a fire on the far side. She stood and started towards it, hoping it was either survivors or possible rescue.

Nodding in agreement Gracelynn asked for both of them to stay by the fire while she went and looked for a place for them to stay in the treeline. Without waiting for a reply she got up and started searching the trees for a good solid place. Finding an area where a group of trees had grown together but left a large space under them. Smiling at the luck she quickly made sure there were no other critters in it. Quickly she got back to the others and started to transfer some the fire to the dwelling to make it more comfortable.

"I am going to go see if I can find any resources nearby, would anyone like to come with me?" Yui asked, as she stood up slowly. She didn't want to move too fast, for fear of hurting her head injury, which now was throbbing in slightly agonizing pain. She scanned the beach, and the far off distance of the ocean. It seemed like it went on forever, and that's what separated her, from civilization... separated her from home. She blinked back tears, as she waited for someone to want to join her.

"I will" Gaz spoke up and stood beside her. "Im not that cold so I don't have much of any reason to stay here by the fire" she nodded, and blinked her jet black eyes.

Gracelynn glanced down at the crabs the she had caught earlier, "I'll get some more food," Smiling she stood up.
