Ella wore a white jacket with black fur inside the hood and a thin belt that went around her middle and still made her seem curvy, even through the thick jacket. On her feet she wore tall white boots with her jeans tucked into them. Her long blonde curls where left down, and her violet eyes stood out against the her white jacket, and the falling white snow. Ella had not been born to stomp around in snow: she had been born and raised in California until her father died, and her family shipped her off to one of their summer homes in Main alone. They sent her money every month, but Ell still hated her family.
Tilting her head back, she allowed a snowflake to land on her pale pink lips. The cold air burnt her lungs as she breathed in deeply, then created a fog as she breathed out. The peace of the still evening was broken as someone about Ella's age quickly came up to her. "Ella!" He called out, and she rolled her eyes. "Get over it, Mike. I don't want to see you again." The boy, Mike, huffed as he stood in front of her. "Why? Why would you act like you care about me, then make out with my best friend?" He asked her, pain in his voice. But Ella didn't care. He had never really cared about her, anyways. She was beautiful, so he liked her. That was as far as it went. "Because you bore me, Mike. Get. Over. It." Ella's musical voice was sharp, and he flinched as if she had slapped him.
Ella Turned to leave, but Mike caught her wrist. "Please, Ella! Don't go!" He begged, turning her back around. "Let go of me!" She said much more sharply now, her eyes cold as she tried to twist away her small wrist. Using her looks wouldn't get her out of this one; it was what got her into this mess. "Get let me go, now!" Ell growled, trying to pull back and away from him.

The snow fell silently yet the town still buzzed. She had been here for about a week, still had no sign of the person she was assigned to, or maybe she had seen him/her, but was per-occupied with some drama the humans where stirring up. She was dressed in a long black coat that covered up most of what she was wearing. Despite the cold, she wore shorts with leggins underneath them with ankle boots and a white tee shirt. It was something she could pick up cheaply, and to her surprise, the cold didn't bother her as much as it bothered the humans. Her long curly black hair was pulled back into a very messy pony tail and blew in the ice wind as she neared the coffee shop. She entered with the fresh smell of the coffee and already, it was fairly crowded.

She walked up towards the counter and ordered a vente sized caramel frappe; she waited and paid with the money she had 'borrowed' from the person she was staying with. Once she had gotten her coffee drink, she walked over towards the counter with the sugars and creamers. She hated the bitter taste of coffee, yet she loved the ice cream taste of it; so the only way she could drown out the taste was with sugar. She opened about five packages and poured them in, one by one before opening five more. She continued until there was about an inch of sugar on top of the whipped cream. People nearby her started to stare as she took her straw and started to stir it up.

Anne sat in a big rock, staring off at the lake from a distance. The wind was cool but calm, the way she liked it. She missed her parents, but she couldn't risk going back there, yet. But Lori, her maid, told her that they were going home the day after tomorrow. ' Those scientists, they better not show up there and suddenly grab me or something ' Anne thought as she stared up in the sky. She hated the fact that she was being chased around by scientists that keep wanting to use her for an experiment that she didn't know about. She can't keep on running away from them forever, there will be a time that she will have to fight them herself.

Her train of thoughts were broken when Lori talked to her. " Thinking about your parents? " Anne nodded as she faced Lori. Lori smiled back and leaned her head on her chest. " How about I let you explore the forest? Would you like that? " Lori asked her again. "Yes! Of course I would! Thanks Lori! " Anne gave Lori a hug then she ran back to their small house. She grabbed her bow and arrows and she headed to explore the forest.

Vince was finally aware of himself. He was conscious. But he lost something precious. He could not feel their soft, smooth feathers, matted behind his back. Instead what he felt was intense pain and for a while he couldnā€™t see anything.

ā€œWhat did I do?!ā€ He screamed within his head. Parting from heaven, heā€™d been carefully laid in an alley by the trashes. ā€œSo Iā€™m as worthless as trash now,ā€ he scoffed as he got himself up and kicked away the metallic containers of debris, littering the asphalt rubble.

He cursed the deity and blamed it endlessly. ā€œI donā€™t belong here, with these belittled creatures.ā€ He thought bitterly.

Finally he calmed down, once he was mindful of his fatigue. His eyes began to close and his body tilted forward and he staggered on to the ground.

Leon hummed a tune as he watered the plants by the shelf. He knew outside the walls he couldnā€™t bare the cold, so he simply solved that problem by staying inside. The flower shop was not open today, but father had told him to tend to the plants anyway.
He worked away tenaciously, the watering can dipping gingerly forward to release water into the pot of the plant.
He enjoyed watching this monotonous gesture and he tried to make the next go as similar as possible to the last.

Once heā€™d water all the plants, he slipped on a thick coat, and carefully wound a scarf around his throat to prepare for the cool weather outside. Heā€™d forgotten to bring his own coffee in the morning and same with the custard cake his father had bought him a day before, so readied himself for his journey to lunch at the nearby cafĆ©.
He hastily flicked the lights off the shop and reluctantly pushed open that little plug that kept all the cold out. Heā€™d done this a few times but heā€™d never gotten used to it. This didnā€™t rid the usual smile he had on his face.

It was as if standing in front of a big deflating balloon of frost and ice. For a second, he just blinked, perplexed and confused by the strange sensation; but he soon felt the cold against his face.
He tried to console himself, as he walked calmly on to the streets. He walked and walkedā€¦but soon found himself jogging. He reached the entrance, his panic almost turning to alarm, but he soon kept his temper under control.

He began to finish his order for coffee but at the last moment added a wrap, when realizing his hunger. He quickly took two packets of sugar, torn and pour them in. He noticed a girl take five and put them all in. He quickened pace away from her and sat down at a seat by a broad window.

Christian walked through the strrets of the small town covered in white. He walked quickly trying to ignore the looks of intrigue directed towards him as he walked by. Humans always did that when they saw him, he was once an angel so oit wasonly normal. His odd golden eyes didn't seem to help either. Human girls stoped and stared at him, some trying to speak to him. He did nothing but shoot them all cold glances that they took as a hint to leave him alone.

His phone began to ring in his pocket. It startled him and made him jump in surprise. He hated the damn thing, he still couldn't figure out how to work it. He let it ring, and left it alone.Probably Erica..... He'd been living with her since he had no where else to go. She was a nice woman and had been a friends with her for a while.

He continued walking, then stoped for a moment. There stood a little girl crying andhat' screaming. He looked around and saw people look at her, but they continued walking. He tried to get a grip on his anger, and sighed.People are that terrible. Do they not see her? How could they not do anything? He walked up to her, as she wiped her tears with her hand. More tears began to well up in her emerald green eyes. A look of sympathy croosed Christians gaze. He patted the top of her head, which surprised the little girl. He knelt down to her eye level. "What's wrong?" She looked at him and more tears streamed down her face. She looked down and managed to stammer out her words, "M...My leg...."

"Your leg is hurt? Where's your parents? Do you have a brother?" The little girl shook her head, and showed him by trying to walk. She yelped and nearly fell.Probably twisted it... He ran his hand through his black hair. He turned around and knelt so she could get on his back. He lifted her onto his back and turned his head. "Do you have a family member?" The girl nodded her little red head. "Aunty is at home. She's sick."

"Do you know which way your aunt's house is?" Fortunately the girl's house wasn't far. He returned her to her aunt who in turn thanked him as did the little girl. He said nothing in return. They offered for him to stay or to come visit, and he promised he would see them again. Walking back to where he was originally going to go he caught a glimpse of a beautiful girl with long blonde hair and beautiful violet eyes. She looked so angelic that it was almost hard to believe she was a human. He felt a pang in his chest. Was this the girl he was supposed to watch over. Almost as an answer he could feel in his chest that she was the girl, the human he had to watch over. He sighed, and began following her. He saw a boy following her yelling her name in a begging tone asking her to not go. She in response shot the boy she had reffered to as Mike a cold glance. How could she go from angelic and cute to cold so quickly? He was surprised to hear himself yell hey! and follow after her. What had he gotten himself into? Wasn't he supposed to just watch her from afar?

Her eyes swiftly followed a boy who walked in and sat by the window seat. He had a girlish feel about him, yet, it was very understandable that this was a boy. She walked towards the seat next to him and sat down, sucking on the ice drink. She crossed her legs as her dark icy blue eyes stared at him; the boy was some what interesting, yet, she did not want to get involved with him at all. Perhaps he was the person she was suppose to look after, but then again, what made him different from the person that was siting to the far right of her, or the person who was ordering coffee? Even if it was, and only God may help her if it was, why should she save him? Her life would be so much easier without the boy or girl to look after. If she just let him die, then she could be forever on earth, right? Though, the thought had occurred to her, she was just as naive as a small child back then, thinking that being a fallen angel had it all with no responsibilities.

Finally breaking her hard stare from him and closing her eyes, she took a deep sigh; not yet ready to loose him from her sight. This was all very irritating and aggravating. Her cup crushed a little and she could feel the coffee touch her hands. Another thought had occurred to her; why was she getting so aggravated over this small matter of a thing? What are the chances that this boy is the person she is suppose to protect? Close to zero right? She took another deep breath and started to suck down her coffee quickly, almost ignoring the sticky feeling that was developing in her hand from the spilled coffee. Once again, her gaze rested on him for a few minutes, maybe longer.

Ella twisted her arm from the boy's grip, and quickly walked away. Although her face only showed mild annoyance, her heart fluttered like a hummingbird's wings. The way he had grabbed her wrist reminded her of her father. She was aware of him calling behind her, but she simply rolled her eyes and turned a quick corner, onto a long and rather lonely-looking street. All of the houses where white with snow, and silent. The road was covered in a thick layer of snow that Ella trudged through, at first not noticing the steps behind her. As soon as she heard light footsteps behind her, she whipped around around took a step forward, a note of distress on her face as she glared at the person behind her. "Just leave me alone!" Ell huffed, but her eyes widened and she took a quick step back when she realized it wasn't Mike.

For a moment she stood there, her guard down for a moment as she took in the boy in front of her. He was very handsome, with dark hair and golden eyes that melted her heart- even if she only left her expression surprised and vulnerable for a moment. In that moment she stood with her long hair hair cascading down one shoulder, her long eyelashes catching small snowflakes with each blink, and a rather innocent expression on her face. It was rare someone to catch her with her guard down- but this was a small town where everybody knew everybody. And she didn't know him. It was odd feeling, and she stopped herself just before she could make a fool of herself. She covered her innocence with the face of a flirt, and she gave him a seductive smile that could break the strongest of hearts.

"Following me, are you?" Ella's musical voice chimed out in the cold evening, like a clear bell. She took a slow step forward, a daring look in her eyes.

Christian stared in awe at the angelic creature before him, her face held a look of pure innocence. Her long blonde hair and flushed cheekks made her even more beautiful. He felt his own cheeks flush for a moment and turned his head in embaressment."Following me, are you." Something in her voice reminded him of someone...Sarah...

He shot her a cold glance.Every horrible memory he had of that woman came flooding back to him. He sighed trying to get a grip on his anger. It seemed that fate wanted to torture him with the horrid details of his past. Still...he needed to redeem himself so if it meant that he had to deal with this girl then hhe would. He tried to drop the annoyance and anger out of his tone at her remark,"Just wanted to make sure you were okay. That looked bad back there, so i thought if I helped you I could stay at your place."

It was true, he needed a place to stay and he could protect her better if he stayed with her. Not to mention, Erica would be pretty eager to kick him out of the house. It seemed like it could work out.

Ella smiled and turned. "Sure, you can stay with me. What do I have to loose? I'm Ella" She let out a gentle wind chime laugh as she approached a pretty big home, that would be terribly lonely to live in by yourself. But Ella survived. "I hope you like dogs. I have puppy named Mouse." With a smile that made her seem like she was keeping a secrete, and unlocked the door and bumped it with her hip. The old door popped open and she let out a sharp whistle that was answered with a deep, threatening-sounding bark.

A grey beast, who's back was higher then Ella's waist galloped out of the house, straight towards the boy. He jumped up on the fallen angel, easily knocking him over. The Great Dane stood over him, his massive paws on his shoulders as he licked his face. "Mouse! Go easy on him!" Ella laughed, clearly enjoying this.

Deciding the handsome boy had enough, Ell whistled and the massive dog followed her into the house. She left the door open, so the boy could come in. She took off her jacket and boots, so wearing only a thin tank top, jeans, and fuzzy socks. "Come on in, you'll freeze out there!" she called, leaning against the open door.

Rosie walked through the streets silently. She watched carefully as some humans looked at her, confused at what she was wearing, and she smirked. Her pale legs looked even paler then usual because she was wearing hot pink jogging shorts she had taken from a random house. Her shirt was a lime green tank top the clinged tight to her. The frigid air that so terribly affected others didn't bother her at all. As Rosie walked she let her mind drift. Being a fallen angel wasn't as fun as she thought. She hadn't found the human she was meant to save, and even though she didn't act it, she desperately wanted to. Every time she saw a person about her age she questioned if maybe they were the one, but they never were. Her crystal blue eyes bounced across everyone passing bys face.

She was also looking for the other fallen angels. She hadn't seen any lately, and she was beginning to worry maybe they had all already found their people to protect. Rosie clenched her teeth together and continued down the street. She flipped her beach blonde hair back and forth and kept walking up and down the street.

While walking around the forest, she found nothing to hunt. Instead, she found an alley, one that she had never seen before. ' I must have not been that much of an explorer ' she thought as she slung her bow and arrow on her shoulder. Walking slowly and carefully, she peered from behind a tree to the alley. It looked abandoned to her, but there was someone in there. She looked behind her to check if someone had followed her. To her relief, there was no one. She immediately sprinted to the alley, to get closer to the person staggering in there. She sat down by his side, slowly, not to surprise him.

" Are you alright? " Anne asked him by poking him in the side a little. She knows it was a stupid question to ask, but she needed to know the answer to it. The guy did not reply. And Anne got worried. Even though she did not know him, she felt concerned about him. Tucking some strands of her hair behind her ear, she leaned down to check if he still had a heart beat, and if his pulse was normal. He felt alright to her. Anne immediately felt relieved after. Now, she had to wait for him to wake up.

When a girl came fourth and sat beside him, Leon was surprised. First he was shocked, but her decided that she had mistaken him for someone else, and decieded he wait till she realized her fault.

Wrap in one hand, he stared out at the scenery outside, feeling glad that heā€™d chosen a window seat. He sighed when he felt a certain stare towards him. It disappeared after a few seconds.

A little irritated that the girl hadnā€™t left yet, he turned to tell her that she made a mistake, but when he saw, he realized, she was a very lovely girl with something other worldly about her.

Irritated more, turned away. He was certain heā€™d never met, yet he didnā€™t have the heart to chase her away.

He sat, thoughtlessly gazing at the view abroad, and with a strange urge to speak, he turned and faced.

Heā€™d been so sure that he needed to speak to her. But he didnā€™t know what to say.
ā€œExcuse meā€¦ā€ He began carefully.
ā€œDo you know meā€¦?ā€

Waking up, Vince felt something warm. He also saw something blue in the distance. Or wait, was it right by his eyes? Assisting his head, he got up, and he felt pain come back to his body. In panic he grabbed the sleeve of the lady that was kneeling by him.
ā€œThis painā€¦ā€ He cried with hysterical eyes.
ā€œGet rid of it!ā€ He paused to breath, and then he glared at her again.

Getting up, he staggered nearer and grabbed he arm tightly.
ā€œGet me out of hereā€¦I need to get outā€¦ā€ He whispered faintly. The pain in his head prevented any clear thinking, as he leaned towards one wall, his grasp still firm on the ladyā€™s arm. He wanted to go. He wanted to leave this tainted land. But he knew didnā€™t know where to go. He know longer had a place. He no longer had an objective in life.

ā€œLady, guide meā€¦ā€ He began again. ā€œGuide me somewhere where I can be at peace.ā€
He began to cough uncontrollably. He couldnā€™t adjust to the empty back he now had. How did other fallens adapt?

Anne panicked slightly. But she helped the guy up slowly, and assisted him with most of his weight. He was quite heavy for her, but she managed to bring him to a secluded place in the forest where a small lake is present. She laid him by his side, turning him facing the lake. She knelt down beside him, getting a small towel from her small bag. Anne placed it in the water, for it to get cold. Then she placed it on the guy's forehead, to help lessen the pain. She left the wet towel on his forehead, then got some herbs that can be used as painkillers. Waiting for the herbal medicine to lessen the pain, she placed the guy's head on her lap for comfort.

" I hope this will lessen what you feel, at least for now. We have to get you to my place and get some real treatment " Anne told him, it was almost like a whisper. She didn't even know if he heard her, but she wanted to help him get well, as soon as possible. She had many questions to ask him. What's his name? Where did he come from? Does he have a family? But all that would have to wait until he gets better.
