January 4, 2160. It was midnight, the ground was packed with freshly laid snow. Snow flakes slowly drifted through the skeletons of long dead buildings, The twisted steel making a slight whistle from the cool breeze. The sky was in twilight from the sliver cresting moon. in the distance gunfire rang out, along with screams of rage and sadness. the streets were in almost complete disrepair. Old destroyed shops were on the sides of the streets, looted. nothing of value was here, except a makeshift shack. it smelled of hard liguor. the gun shots rang in the distance.

William crouched as he slowly made his way through the rubble, hood covering his head. His wolf side was snapping and clawing to get out, but he breathed and kept focus on the task as hand. Apparently there is suppose to be a small storage of food here, and William did not want to lose his chance at it.
'Where is it?' he gritted in his mind. His breath caught in his throat, arching his back feeling the unwelcoming warmth of his wolf stir in his heart. He felt disappointed he couldn't hold out longer, the sound of his bones snapping and rebuilding, his flesh slowly shifting with his body, becoming fur. William let out a loud growl as his skull recreate, trembling with pain. At least he wasn't passing out like when he was younger from this.
'Shit!' He laid on the ground, squirming and kicking trying to control it.

Jack woke up after passing out from the whiskey. He really had to lay off the stuff. He walked slowly to his locker. Then he heard Growling.......that woke him up. He ran to the locker and grabed his .308 bolt action rifle, then silver bullets. he then put on his Black duster and gas mask and ran through the splinterd door holding the rifle tight while loading a silver bullet. Then he saw it....a man about the age of him on the ground.....growling.

The shifter growled unhappily, half dragging himself away so he can finish off. William eyed him with a sense of fear from the silver that glistened in the man's hand as he put them into the gun.
"D-Don't!" He cried, his voice from his jaws slowly changing to a canine's. His body was only half-shifted, him gasping and growling, withering around. His back arched upwards, the fur peaking from his worn out jacket. God, what an unlucky day for him. William shook his head, irritating his own virus.

Jack hesitated......but why? He was a were wolf.....at his most venerable state.....Then Jack had a idea. He put his gun on his back then kneeled besides the creature......then pulled out a syringe filled a greenish liguid. it was a werewolf controller.....highly expensive, and almost dangerous, for it oly works when the werewolf is changing.....he plunged the needle into his veins.

William snapped at him, letting out a small snarl of pain. Damn that freaking hurt! His body felt stiff as he pulled away, his pupils dilating. His head lowered, panting and tail flicking back and forth. The wolf's paw patted at the ground, finally letting out a whimper. He heard the sound of glass knocking against the ground, glancing over to see a little red tail peaking from behind a fallen wall.
Slowly the pain grew again and his bones moved back to before, making him startled. Once it stopped he sat back, slightly terrified. "Oh..mygod" He murmured, looking down seeing not fur but skin. His clothes were a bit stretched but he didn't care, he was human. In the night.
"W-What did you do?"

"W-William Trance!" He stuttered, backing up and rubbing the side where the syringe stabbed him. "I am from the lower coastal region" William kept glancing at the red tail.

Winter was a very odd girl, her snow white skin contrasted compared to the rubble, the ruins and the rest of the apocalyptic state around her. She seemed almost lifeless, but not as lifeless as the skull she held in her hand who she liked to call Daisy. Most found it to be such an odd name, it didn't seem to fit a well, skull. "You do realise you're going the wrong way right?" The skull chattered away, its bone jaw clacking and making odd noises as it spoke.

Winter did not reply, she knew she wasn't going the right way, she had spotted a wolf in distress. A quite beautiful one at that. She approached it and watched as it struggled to remove it's head from a jar. The pale female tilted her head to the side curiously as the skull spoke once more. "Stupid creature, it'll probably die soon if it can't get it's head out." Winter shot the skull an icy glare, quickly silencing the smart mouth. She knelt down beside it then reached out and helped remove the jar from the wolf's head. She then simply looked at it, curious about how it might react. Winter loved all creatures, she was curious about the way they worked.

Winter then realised she wasn't alone as she turned to see two men. She looked then up then down then her eyes shifted from both their eyes. Simply staring, studying them, no words.

Edilon shook her coat and blinked a few times. She licked her nose and tried processing where the jar went. She looked at the people around her, and hesitated before her instincts kicked in. She got back, looking at the two men and the woman who mysteriously showed up and freed her. She tried making herself look intimidating, but she didn't do very well. Edilon began barking. Her bark was rather feminine, but annoying and loud. She stopped to see if they were afraid yet.

The wolf shifter watched, feeling his wolf stir a bit. He let out a small growl but that was it, standing up and stood behind the rifleman. William became slightly protective of him, since he did after all press the wolf down for the time being.

Lydian was bored, hungry and annoyed. Bored because he hadn't found anyone interesting to play with yet, hungry because well, he was greedy; the vampire had had plenty to drink before arriving to the next area, he just felt like a little midnight snack. And annoyed because he felt bored and hungry and these feelings were not gone yet. Simple as that.

"What does a guy have to do to get a little entertainment around here huh?" Lydian groaned as his voice echoed so sullenly around him, the place was so lifeless and uninteresting. That was until, he heard something in the distance. A devious smile formed on his lips as he was in the premises of the sounds in no time at all. From a very unstable rooftop, he watched from a far. From a young man trying to deal with his pitiful transformation, to a paranoid human surprisingly helping the young man, and then to a silly wolf, who managed to somehow get its head stuck in a jar. Well, until some pale white female entered the scene that is. "They'll have to do."

With those words, he jumped down from the roof, some of the roof seemed to come down with him though, how annoying; then dusting himself off, he looked at the group with a judging, sly, smile. "Applaud you all for being the only entertaining things I've come across for days now." The Vampire gave them a toothy snicker, not uncomfortable with revealing what his species was at all as he slowly clapped for a brief moment. "All we need now is some music and it's a party." His sarcastic tone and fake smile could most certainly bring one to cringe.

He himself cringed however at the sound of the annoying barking. "Most certainly NOT the kind of music I had in mind."

Oh I hear something or am I drunk again..Nah I hear something" She said running to the sound she climbed a near by tree and held it with one hand letting the other sway, "Ohh~ Interesting~" she putting on a sly smile and her gas mask, "Hey if your gonna kill him mate I would love to see a fist fight!!" She yelled loud enough for them to hear she directed her attention to the one with the gun smirking.

He snarled a loud growl, coming close. "But would it best to have allies?' He said quickly, eager finish his sentences before there was blood spilled. "Imagine it: A rifleman, wolf virus and vamps in a group, no one would expect that when attacking. It is a great line of defense AND offense." William let out small nervous trills, acting like a wolf with his tail tucked between his leg, trying to persuade his alpha.

The person beside her wasn't threatening her, but she didn't like him. She crawled away. Her barking wasn't solving anything. She found a way to escape from this madness. She bolted underneath the legs of the man with the gun and took a sharp right turn, running straight behind the supply shed. She sat down, adjusting herself. Finally, they were out of sight.

Winter was not surprised by the gun that was pointed at her for a brief moment. Death was common, death was to be expected every day and that did not bother her, she found death interesting. She liked how peaceful and beautiful the shells of living things looked once they held no soul. She realised people forget that the face or appearance of something living is just a vessel for what lies beyond all of that, it was the soul's way of communicating.

Two new faces. A Vampire, he was a man who seemed to stare death in the eye and simply laugh at it. It was a free and possibly fun way of living, but very foolish too. The sudden loudness of a female voice from afar made her turn ever so slightly just to catch a glimpse of a girl who acted like she had come to watch a movie or a boxing match, she too played death. This was all a game, the way the man pointed his gun at every person he met showed her and everyone else he was paranoid and deep down afraid of death. Every human couldn't help but be afraid to die, they lived to die, one who did not fear death was someone who wanted to die and deep down already dead.

"Winter." The female finally spoke up out of no where. "My name. It's Winter." She was no longer paying the feisty people any attention, she had studied them all now, now she wanted to know how they'd act with a friendly greeting as she gently caressed the bare bone of the skull. Watching them all. Her voice was soft and clear, almost emotionless, he voice was quite peaceful and fluttery, almost surreal.

The rifle certainly pointed to him quite quickly, this guy was paranoid and he had every reason to be. Human's are easy targets, with or without weapons and silver bullets. "So sorry, but I'm afraid the silver in that rifle is as useful as a horse with no legs." The Vampire cooed taunting the Human. Indeed silver did not harm Vampires, other things did though such as the removal of his head but you know, he was far too fast to allow that to happen.

Lydian's eyes shifted to the cowering young man that seemed to be trying to convince the human to back off. Hm how interesting, what could he possibly benefit from wanting to keep Lydian alive. He cocked his head to the side, eyeing the werewolf curiously with a grin, studying him, completely oblivious to the simple attraction the wolf felt towards the Vampire. Oh how oblivious he was when it came to the law of attraction. "Yes listen to your pet, I can assure you this little group would be far more fun than wasting away on alcohol in your little shed." His playful words were meant for riling up, he was curious how easily these people got angry and offended.

He was having a pretty good time until he heard a female voice from afar and all happiness slipped away from his face. Another Vampire. You'd think they'd stick together but no they were competition, almost every Vampire was greedy and wanted food for themselves and he was not the type to stoop to drinking the blood of vermin. Lydian gave the female a slight sidewards glance, showing how disinterested in her he was before watching the wolf girl flee. "Poor thing, probably afraid of her own shadow."

Lydian had to admit he wasn't expecting the pale woman to suddenly speak up and say her name. It was out of place and far from the topic at hand, but he liked it. "You all, can call me Liam." He gave a short bow before waiting on the others to greet themselves, he simply smiled at them all, a rather untrustworthy smile but the untrustworthy look to him was not intentional, he was just happy and a bit of a trickster. His eyes glanced at William and he gave him a quick and short wink as he grinned, testing to see how he would react. Lydian wanted to know everything about them, except for the other Vampire, if she wanted him to pay her any attention at all, she would have to go to him because he was stubborn.

His cheeks reddened a bit, almost letting out a low whimpered whine. William was going to have to wait for his wolf to actually get more of his power back to decide if this person seemed willing to be his or vise versa. But it wasn't unheard of with wolves imprinting on different races and becoming love sick for the person. Dear god if a wink can do that to him, what does a-.
"Nice you meet y'all, then" William blurted to distract him mind. "Is there a certain destination people are going to?" He still wanted to scope around the grounds for the food, his own hunger nawed at his stomach. It felt irritating, it would of making his fur stand on edge. The moon was halfway through the sky and the war sounds were becoming louder, feeling the soft rumble under their feet.
William backed up a bit, obviously disliking it.

Edilon looked around the corner of the shed. Most of them probably didn't notice her departure. She turned back around. The smell of blood made itself apparent. But from what? She sniffed the ground and pawed at it. she began digging in the dirt right next to the shed. The smell of blood became stronger.
