Jo-Jo
I obediently ran after Hybrid, keeping silent. The less you let on about yourself, the greater threat you were. In my book, anyways. Maybe Simone had taught me something afterall. I kept silent, sensing all the machinery and half humans inside the building Hybrid was now torching.
As we entered the hallway that was behind the wall Hybrid torched, he whispered the plan. Save a vampire, yeah, right! Just their smell was enough to burn my nostrils. I would kill the vampire and make it look like the Bionics did it. Half-brained machinery always took the fall sooner or later. I nodded, silently, feeling my fingertips tingling at the thought of what was going to go down.
----
I sat in the dark depths of my mind, and Dustin appeared before me. He smirked as I sat on the floor with my head tucked over my arms. Simone. Get up. Move on and kill her. I always told you not to trust your greatest friends.
I looked up at him. Dustin, stop. What happened? Jo-Jo..? Is she?
He only nodded. Sheβs going to kill Hybrid, isnβt she?
Only a nod.
Dustin, what happened to William? Heβs not in the link anymore.
He frowned, and I knew. Slowly, almost casually, he pulled out a dagger from his back pocket. Walking towards me, Dustin towered over me, holding me there. He plunged the dagger into my chest, and I gasped. Wake up now, Simone.
I gasped in a huge lungfulls of air. βGod. Shit, what?β
The dagger Dustin had stabbed me back into reality with was lying in my palm. Clean and shining. I knew what I had to do. But could I get there in time enough?

A plan? ...good. Then you can help me kill them. They deserve it! This was a lot more venom than I usually used against anyone, even the lycans, whose scent always bothered me...wait, there was one here! Is that Simone or Jo-Jo with you? The Bionic smell is messing me up... Hopefully Simone; she had said something seemed to be wrong with Jo-Jo. It would be better if Simone had come instead of Jo-Jo, in that case. And, of course, I hadn't known Jo-Jo through everything that happened, so naturally I would trust Simone more. I was glad to have a conversation with someone, though.

I jumped out my window, and winced. What had Jo-Jo done to me? Made an air-magic baseball and hurled it at me? I ran, sniffing out Hybridβs scent. Unidentifiable, yet intoxicating. And then there was Jo-Jo. Candy poisoned apples.
I found the torched wall of a building not far after. It led towards a tunnel. The scent ended here, and I wasnβt sure if Hybrid and Jo-Jo had entered or not. I hesitated, and sat stake out at the wall. Nobody was coming in or coming out without me knowing about it.
I sent out my link. Watch out for Jo-Jo. She isnβt who she seems to be.
----
Jo-Jo
I scoffed. I desperately wanted to shoot air bubbles into the vampire, and kill her. Sheβd explode. It would look like she was shot. I waited for Hybridβs orders.

Kivan had found my scent, and followed it. There, he found Simone. "Hey; you never answere the link I had set up. The other vampires are going to be here soon to help. I think the Bionics took Midnight and William; did you at least get that part?"

I stood up, and handed Kivan one of my blades that hung from my wrist sheath, then walked into the tunnel. I padded along silently, hoping that it wasnβt too late for Hybrid, Midnight, or the humans. I swallowed. Or myself.

I heard Hybrid make a distraction, and wondered when Jo-Jo was going to help me out of this. There was no way I'd get through the electric bars without help from the outside. But what could I possibly do? I started tugging at the minds of the Bionics, causing both pain and confusion. If Simone could mess with what people felt with auras, then I was managing to do the same with their minds. "Die..." i whispered each time I attacked another Bionic. None of them could be killed by what I was doing, but it was good for me to hope that I might kill one this way.

Kivan paused to sniff. "I think your Strange is already attacking the Bionics..." He glanced back. "And the other vampires should have been here by now...is there some giant conspiracy I don't know about, or are they just being slow because they don't know what they're doing?" He was mostly talking to himself, because the silence had always bothered him. After all, they should hve at least seen a Bionic while they were there. And still, there had been none. "Maybe your Strange is attacking them all at once? Should we speed up a bit to help out?"

I let Hybrid go on ahead. If he wanted to die from a half machine then let him. I had more.. important things to do. I watched as he threw that explosive can into the hallway filled with Bionics. Smart thinking on my part to fill the can with air, making it even more explosive then it should have been. I stifled a laugh as the can also injured Hybrid. Why do you need my help, Hybrid? Your lover not here to protect you is going to be your downfall.
I shot out my wrist, and my air magic whipped around Hybrid, backing him against the wall and holding him there like unbreakable chains. I snapped my hand around, and my air magic floated casually around the vampireβs head as she sat in the cell, watching. I closed my fist, and the air constricted around her. Sooner or later it would begin to feel as if she was being suffocated.
My other hand shot out, and my air magic created a barrier holding back the Bionics, who would not hesitate to shoot anything and everything.
----
I ran down the hallway, leaving Kivan to think about things. I shouted back towards him. βCome on, Kivan!β
I stopped at a corner, and peaked my head around. What I saw only confirmed my short lived beliefs. Jo-Jo had gone off her rocker. The look in her eyes was like a rabid wolf. Haha. Without thinking, I pulled out one of the knives from my wrist sheath, and flung it at Jo-Joβs outstretched hand. Never missed a mark..Barely. The knife plunged through her wrist, and crimson red blood started pouring from the wound. She shrieked, and looked around angrily for anyone who had done it. Yet she didnβt see me. The magic in her hand weakened the grip she had on the air chains that held back Hybrid. I flicked another knife, this one dipped in poison, towards Jo-Joβs same wrist. It stuck, and she kept on shrieking in agony, yet she couldnβt let go or her magic would waver.
I went back behind the wall, and sat down. I wouldnβt interfere if Hybrid could get free.

Kivan had watched as Simone went farther down, then turned back, making a mental link. Dad, the vampires are going to have to be here soon.
...I know. We're moving as fast as we can.
It's not quite fast enough.
Then he turned back and ran after Simone, and saw her injuring Jo-Jo. He sniffed. This lycan was their enemy? He glanced around at the bionics that were left, and sent large balls of shadows to cover their heads, making it impossible for them to see. Simone; the smell of Bionics is blocking everything. Do you know where Midnight is?

As I fought the Bionics, I suddenly felt something press me against the wall, almost as though I was being chained there. I looked down, and saw no chains. Air magic. The bionics looked restrained too, so it couldn't have been them...not that they could do it anyway. I looked around and the first thing I noticed was Jo-Jo. She HAD to be the one doing it. I saw a knife fly out of nowhere, which nailed her square in the hand, which weakened her magic. Could it have been Simone's doing? I managed to slip out, then let out a roar and tackled her, pinning her to the ground. "I want an explanation and I want it NOW!" I yelled, charging up fire in my mouth. If she didn't tell me, I would torch her to cinders. If she had done anything to Simone, I would torch her cinders into nothing. Either way, she was going to die if I didn't get answers. I started to get angry, and my hands started heating up, giving her burns on her arms.

I shrieked in fury as two knifes plunged into my wrist. It felt like fire was climbing up my skin, and veins. Simone, and her damned poison knives! The poison didn't seem to affect me as much, and my air magic vibrated around me, knocking the knives out of my wrist and to the floor.
Hybrid jumped me, and he yelled. My torture to Midnight was stopped short. I lay under him, and merely laughed. "Torch me, Hybrid. It won't hurt."
I leaned up, and pressed my lips to his. Simone would think it different then it was. I had no emotion for this thing. I was saving my own life. My air magic reversed, pulling the heat from the charge he was saving in his throat, and pulling it into my lungs. I coughed and sputtered, and then shrieked again as his hands left burns on my arms. I exhaled, and the air magic stored within me started to flay Hybrid. The skin on his face began to form blisters as the air worked under his skin, and I could see the pain in his eyes, yet he wouldnβt budge.
----
I growled in fury, and ran out from behind the cover of the wall. I looked to Midnight. βKivan will get you out, promise Midnight.β
I turned my attention back to Jo-Jo and Hybrid. His face looked terrible, and Jo-Jo was going to pay for that. I took out my knives, and stood over Jo-Jo, who was too busy trying to flay Hybrid to notice me when I leaned down, and jabbed one of my knives into her throat. She screamed out in agony, and blood spurted from her wound, getting my pants all bloody. She would pay for that too.
Jo-Joβs air barrier against the Bionics was wearing thin. Kivan would have to get Midnight out, and us four would have to run like hell to get out of the line of fire. Hopefully somewhere safe.

[questions? problems? PM me or let me know here, cuz I wanna know if you have issues with what I wrote!]
As Jo-Jo pressed her lips to mine, I was taken way off guard, but then realized she hadn't done it for the reason I assumed. She stole my charge, and now she was trying to flay me. It's either you or me. I thought to myself. Either I would kill her, or she would kill me. And it ain't gonna be me! Suddenly, Simone plunged a knife into her throat. Jo-Jo's Blood spurted all over me. This was one of the most disgusting things I had ever experienced. I stood slowly, shapeshifted a couple of times to remove most of the damage, then I picked up her barely-alive body and shoved it aside. To everyone else, it looked like she was finished, but I wasn't like that. She had tried to kill me, but I didn't want her to die yet for some bizarre reason, so I secretly planted nanobots that would slowly heal her. I would explain to the others later why I had done this. I turned to the remaining bionics. I let out a roar and charged at them, both of my hands flaming. I rammed my hands into two of their heads and sent molten lava roaring through their heads, which melted the two standing behind them. I jumped on another and began tearing it apart viciously, then leapt off of it as the others blasted it, trying to hit me. I turned around quickly and did a flame-wave attack, melting a few of them. I yelled to the others, "Go! I can hold them off! Just go!" and then dove out of the way of a few lasers. I rammed one of the remaining 15 which sent it flying into a few others, giving Simone and them the time to escape. One of the ones that was standing charged at me, and I grabbed its fist as it tried to punch me. It tried to punch me again and I grabbed the other fist. I knew I wouldn't be able to hold this long, so I yelled to the others, "Hurry! I don't think I'm going to be able to keep this up much longer!"

It was then I realized how much of a monster Hybrid was. He shoved Jo-Jo aside, and I left her there. She would die soon, and if she didn't, she had become as insane as this whole situation. Hybrid seemed to be taking care of the Bionics. Much better than I could have. Bionics were the hardest things for me to kill, and I didn't take many jobs to kill them. I sent out a mind link to Midnight and Kivan as I crouched down, ready to spring if a Bionic came near me. Not that they would.
Midnight, Kivan? You two get out of here, and go somewhere safe. We'll find you soon, and I'll get William's body.
Hybrid told me to run, yet my feet stayed firmly in place. I just made a promise to get William's body. I had seen him, slumped over in the next cell, and it didn't look pretty. I sighed, and slinked into the shadows, reappearing at the cell door. I examined the lock as Hybrid was still busy with the Bionics. Taking off my high heel, I shoved the heel into the lock, and it clicked open. Putting my heel back on, I opened the door, and grimaced. Refusing to look, I took William's arm, and half walked, half dragged him to the hallway that led towards the exit. Either Midnight would find him and see for herself what had happened to William, or I would have to drag his body out and show her.

Jo-Jo
Blackness, my demon stood before me. An ugly twisted creature with horns like deadly daggers. He howled at me, and my eyes closed. I thought I was dead, not entirely. I felt the world slip around me. And then I felt myself being sucked back into reality. Apparantly it wasn't my time to die yet. I don't know how I didn't die, I just didn't. Someone had shoved me aside into a corner, and I slowly turned over on my stomach to watch the scene. Hybrid was fighting Bionics. I could kill him now, Simone or the others weren't in sight. I flicked my wrist, and waited for the amazing feel of air magic to swirl around me, and do my bidding. Nothing happened. Could the punishment for an almost death be the removal of my powers? I didn't think so. I gave up, for now. Slowly I made it into a sitting position against the wall, and my eyes closed again. So weak, yet so aware of how much danger I was in.
Simone could come back, to finish me off. Yet somehow I don't think she was too interested in me. My whole body ached, and I coughed quietly, trying to stifle any suspicion I was still alive.

Kivan had only stopped because the pain was unexpected. He watched me running, thinking back to Simone, I think she's going back, anyway. She got away from me. I never imagined she could have this sort of reaction... After all, I was only a healer, but I had already figured out how to cause pain in the heads of enemies. He rubbed his head, where it hurt the most. Then he ran after me.

Kivan glanced at me every now and then, but didn't try to speak or think to me. He seemed to be a little confused, and possibly a little worried, but I wasn't stupid enough to try to kill all the Bionics and the Strange on my own. Whichever Strange that had commanded the Bionics, anyway. I thought about the poisons I could possibly use against them; ones that would be like acid to metal and skin alike.
Setting

My vision hazed as someone spoke to me. Hybrid? I was still so weak. He basically told me to shut up, and I was in no state to argue. I was helpless as well, as he dragged me out, and put me down behind bushes and trees. My first thought was to crawl. Crawl away and gather my strength back. My throat ached, like the dagger was still there. I would kill Simone. I would if it was the last thing I'd ever do.
----
I grabbed at Midnight as she ran past me, but I let her pass as she started taking out Bionics. Wow, Midnight, good job..
Hybrid said it was time to leave. That was fine by me. I shouldered William's body as Hybrid tugged Midnight ahead of me. Hybrid rounded back, and took my hand. I really hated being treated like a child, but I was still dizzy from Jo-Jo's air magic abuse. Hybrid sealed up the hole, and I left him there. I followed Midnight and Kivan silently, William's corpse hanging over my shoulder. Would Midnight's customs allow her to sit vigil as mine's did? I didn't know William very well, but the bond was strong between all of us because of the mind-link. I felt as if I would have too, or maybe Midnight would like to sit vigil alone.

I swallowed before saying, "I think there was a Strange behind this. I only caught a glimpse of him before William died, but I believ it was a Strange; I wouldn't be able to tell you which one, though. But he's probably still back there..." I trailed off as I realized that my voice was starting to get a little shaky. Emotions were coming through again, so I shut up before I could start crying.
Kivan glanced at me before saying, "We'll have no choice but to kill him eventually; those two need to answer for what they've done. Hybrid already has; he just came back. But those two..."

I waited for a few minutes to make sure she was concious, then pulled a little purple vial from my pocket. I'd been saving this for a rainy day. I handed it to her and said, "Drink this. The serum in the vial will accelerate your healing process until you are fully healed." I said. I knew Simone would think she didn't deserve to live right now, but I think everyone could use a second chance. I had gotten mine, so now it was Jo-Jo's turn.
