Three packs, two deaths, and one ceremony. Where do you stand? [Semi-Literate | Accepting]

Introduction

It's mating time ladies and gents. At age seventeen, all wolves gather on a very special full moon. A blue moon. What is a blue moon, you ask? A blue moon is when you have more than one full moon in a single month. Our next blue moon is Friday, August 31st, 2012. Today is Sunday, August 26th. The wolves attend the same school, and only get out early the day of the ceremony. It's often that drama ignites between the packs, and often the males fight.

During this full moon, wolves have full control over themselves. Usually during the full moon, your wolf half takes over and you do not have control until the moon is fully gone from the sky. Of course, you can also shift at any other time, but full moons require you to shift. During the blue moon you are still required to be in wolf form, but you share control with your wolf.

Let's be a bit more specific about this. You always share control with your wolf, but not in this way. Usually, you get your body. The wolf can invade your thoughts, mess with your emotions, but overall you are in charge. You are born with your wolf, so it has been like this forever. But you cannot shift until you reach puberty, so it varies on the person. Though averagely, your first shift is around the age 11 - 13. But on full moons, the wolf takes over, and you are just a visitor in your mind. During a blue moon, you share a brain with your wolf. Meaning this is the perfect night to meet your mate, because your wolf will show you to him or her.

But what happens then? Certain wolves are sent to create a new pack, which is currently being called the New Pack. Original, they know. Then there is the Left and Right packs, the original packs. But the wolves numbers are decreasing, but in their plans for a new pack, they hope for more wolves.

What will happen when something goes wrong the night of the ceremony? Pairs are split, blood is shed, and a war is approaching.

  • Alpha - Lead Male and Female of the pack.
  • Beta - Second to the Alpha pair. If the Alpha's are ever harmed or unavailable, the Beta's step up.
  • Delta - They are not interested in gathering a following nor will they be led; the lone wolf. They will align themselves with various Alphas if both see the other as true equals. Is so, he respects the Alpha's position in the Alpha's own pack.
  • Gamma - Mid-Ranking wolves.
  • Omega - An omega is the weakest link. Usually the runt of a pack, this wolf usually is picked on/bullied and eats last during hunts.
  • The Pack - Any wolves that do not hold a special ranking, they will not be listing on the front page.

  • Feel free to post reservations in OOC, or don't. I'll be picking the most appealing character.
  • This is semi-literate, so I want at least two hundred words a post. But, I don't want more than seven hundreds words a post.
  • Quality over quantity, always.
  • Mates will be picked by me, you of course can put in a request but I can't guarantee anything. [I'm sort of a sucker though, so if you'll ask..it'll likely happen]
  • 'Perfect' characters are allowed! Yes, because I find this rule completely unfair. Perfect to one person is trashy to another. So how can you be perfect? AND THEIR REALLY ARE PEOPLE LIKE THIS.
  • I'm going to apologize for spelling mistakes now.
  • Try to post at least three times a week, but I understand if you get busy. [I know I do.]
  • First posts, let everyone post at least once before posting again. And be patient and wait for others, if three characters are talking, there is usually some sort of posting order. Respect that, unless the other people say otherwise.
  • Unfortunately, this is a completely hetero RP. Meaning there must be an equal amount of females and males before starting.

Sean laughed and shook his head, "Likewise. And I'm really not as smart as you seem to think I am..." he smiled and rolled his eyes in embarrassment. She was adorable. With a sigh, he easily lifted the blue-haired girl and walked from the school, nodding casually at the students he passed and saying excuse me and pardon me. Sean carried her off campus and down the street. He only lived a few blocks from school, even though his brother often drove him. Dean was out and about, so Sean was confident he wouldn't be there to harrass Boo. He looked down at her, You're not allowed to sleep on the bus anymore. I insist." He looked back up at where he was walking. Yeah, he knew. And he wasn't gonna let the poor girl sleep on a bus. And he kinda wanted to kill her foster parents... No, no more killing. He'd promised himself long ago no more death...

She actually laughed at his air guitar, though quickly quieted herself. "Alright, so I can just call you Mickey?" Her voice was almost shushed as she asked it, because she wanted to make sure she had it right this time. "Well then you may call me Kay, if you wish." It was what her snobby older brother called her, but she'd long ago gotten used to it, and actually came to like the nickname. It really wasn't that bad, and Kailey sounded too stuck up for her. Besides, her 'mothers' name was Kaitlin, really not that different. Then he began talking about college and math and a band... his band apparently. A small smile pulled at her lips when he mentioned this. "That's really cool, I'd love to see you play sometime, if you wouldn't mind..."

"Oh shush, I happen to think you're brilliant. Just shush and accept my compliment." When he came closer she wrapped her arms around his neck so that he wouldn't be able to get away without picking her up, though he already seemed to do so willingly. After they got off the school campus she laid her head on his chest and sighed, happy to have her Sean so nearby. This Friday was going to be crazy, god she was going to miss him when he got his mate. Maybe she could just like... secretly lock his mate in a room... and then she wouldn't have to worry about it. Though, then Sean would probably be upset, think he would never find the one. Damn, she could do that to him. Lost in her thoughts, she'd somehow moved her hand up his chest and her fingers lightly traced his jaw, and she softly bit her lip. When the next words escaped his mouth she nearly fell out of his arms. "W-what! Sleeping on a bus? Me? No, psh, no... Sean, no."

Sean sighed and looked down at her, "I'm not an idiot, Boo. You've been sleeping on a bus or in a library. Not anymore. Unacceptable. You're sleeping at our place. You can have my bed and I'll find somewhere to crash, but you're not sleeping on a bus." He wouldn't let anything happen to her. She must be tired, because she was randomly traced his jaw. The girl needed rest. Their flat wasn't too large, but she could stay there. Besides, if there was anyone who could protect her it was Dean or him. "And the lip biting is adorable. Just for the record.", he said with a shrug. They were a couple minutes from the flat, and his arms weren't tired. He could miss one day of school. He hadn't missed a day yet, and his teachers shouldn't mind. He was a little worried about Boo though... she didn't look well. He didn't think the pack would notice his absence. He was the Delta, most of them just called him Stray or the Stray, but he didn't mind. He kinda liked it. he was a stray.

"B-but..." The girl stuck out her bottom lip in a pathetic attempt to persuade him otherwise. "You just said you weren't nearly as smart as I think you are, so..maybe you're lying to yourself." Oh just shut up Boo, he knows. You wanted him to know! But not like this, he just seemed disappointed in her. Hanging her head in shame, she tried not to think about it. At least not for right now, it wasn't like Sean was going to put her down right here and start screaming, he wasn't an idiot. And she just really didn't think he would do that to her, him of all people should know that she's terrified of people. The only reason she acts so wild and crazy usually is because she doesn't know how else to act, and being herself didn't get her very far through middle school. Everyone hated her, called her emo or freak or, really whatever came to mind when they saw her. They teased her for wearing hoodies almost daily, but when she stopped wearing them they teased her for being fat when she was one of the smallest kids in the grade. Nothing she did was right, and then she she developed a crush on a boy... that was bad. He didn't like her the way she liked him, but she had thought he did.

"I can't take your bed from you. But if you're forcing me to sleep at your house, can't I sleep on the floor or couch or something? I mean, I'll even use Dean for a bed if I have too." Now it was just random babbling coming from her, guess the tiredness had finally caught up. "And I'm adorable, you know that." A tired smile formed on her lips, though she did her best to hide it.

Sean smiled down at her, "Sorry... You need to rest. I'm so sorry I didn't figure it out earlier. You always have a place with us. But no sleeping on Dean. I'd get jealous, and have to beat him up, and that'd be a mess..." He smiled as they walked. He knew she probably didn't want to talk about it, being her, but he felt sorry for her... he wished he was better with talking to her, but she knew him and that he was anti-social... he smiled down at her again, "And you can sleep wherever you like. But you're sleeping in a bed..." he looked sadly at her. Fate was so cruel sometimes. She was a teenage girl and she already had no home... for now, his home was her home. But he would be paying a visit to those foster parents... "Would you like me to stop by somewhere so we can get your things first?", he offered. He wanted her to be comfortable and feel at home. To him she was never and would never be the omega. She had simply been dealt a poor hand by fate, and she made the most of it... it was admirable, but she needed a break sometime. "And yes, you are adorable." He smiled down at the blue-haired werewolf.

The girl sniffled pathetically, giving up on trying to fight him. It was useless, he obviously wasn't going to take no for an answer, and she was too tired to even try and fight. Not that she wanted to fight with him, she loved her Sean, but sometimes it was entertaining to see him say big girl words angrily. Oh gosh, she really was tired, Sean was definitely not a girl, and she didn't usually call his choice of words, 'big words'. Concentrating on keeping her eyes open, she tried not to think about the fact that she was sleeping at Sean's house tonight. It wasn't like she hadn't slept there before, but the way he was talking it was like he wanted her to stay there for awhile. And it wouldn't bother her, but it would be really awkward probably. Especially when Sean told his brother their plans for her to stay there, she could only imagine that fight. Maybe she should go hide for that one, might be a good idea.

"I can sleep on meat-head." Boo fought back, but the thoughts of a soft bed drew her in. "Fine, but what about you? I don't want you to be bedless... what if I sleep at the end of the bed, and you sleep at the top? I promise my feet smell like straw-burries." They actually probably did, considering her shower this morning. "And we don't have to grab my stuff, you probably can't carry all of it and me, and I don't really want to walk." She stuck her tongue out at him before laying her head back against his chest.

Sean laughed, "You're cute when you're upset. No sleeping on the meat-head. And I'll be fine, I'll sleep on the couch or the roof. You know I like sleeping on roofs." He shrugged. He liked heights and climbing. Plus she needed a bed. Somewhere soft to rest her head. "And I don't doubt that your feet are incredibly fragrant, but you can have the bed." He smiled down at her again. She didn't think he could carry all her things and her? Was that a challenge? He'd get them eventually, but for now she was coming home with him. He reached the flat and kicked the door a couple times, hands full with Boo. A tall, lanky thin man with short brown hair opened the door and looked down at the pair. Sean simply shrugged and Dean stepped aside. He walked into the small flat.
When you walked in you passed a very small kitchen and table into the small living room. It wasn't much, but it had a couch, radio, TV, and a random assortment of artifacts Dean (an art history fanatic), obsessed over. He turned to face dean, "Hey bro. She needs a place to stay." Dean nodded slowly. "Make yourself at home." Dean turned around with a cup of coffee in hand and sat down with a book. That went well... for all that he was a 'meat-head', he was a good brother. He kept their flat incredibly neat and Dean was a great cook. Which was convenient, because Sean couldn't feed himself. Aye, the only thing he couldn't do. His mother had often told him he'd need to get married before college because he'd starve if he didn't. The thought almost caused him to laugh, but he didn't want to disturb boo resting her head on him. He turned to face the small flat again. It had light blueish grey wallpaper and the floor was dark grey. Overall a rather dull and boring presentation, but neat, and it was home. He leaned down and gently woke Boo, "We're here, Blue." He called her blue because her name was Boo and she had Blue hair... and because he was the only one that called her that. Silly, but it made her feel kinda his in a way...

Her eyes fluttered open at the sound of her special name. Blinking a few times, she had to look around to figure out where she was. But when she did a small oh escaped her and she smiled before leaning up and kissing Sean on the cheek. Rolling out of his arms, she barely had time to get her feet under her before hitting the floor. Stumbling over to Dean, she sat on the arm of the couch next to him and threw her arms around him. "I missed you Dean-yboo. You never called." Yes, she was still tired. And yes, she was probably only doing most of this because of that. Placing a similar kiss on his cheek, she laughed and laid her legs out over his lap. "Ooo, is that coffee? You didn't make me any?" Another fake pout as she made grabby hands at the coffee, not that she even really enjoyed coffee. It generally put her to sleep, so she only drank it before bed. Just like anything else that was supposed to wake her up, nope. Just put her back to bed. Usually she had to splash her face with cold water or something to wake up, though sometimes if she woke up by falling off the bus seat she was usually up after that.

He smiled when she woke up, and froze for a moment when she kissed his cheek. Well, that was new. Not entirely sure how to react to that... he simply stared at her, dazed while she stood up. He snapped out of it, however, when Boo walked over to Dean. Sean laughed, but dean was not amused. Dean grimaced, "Get off me. And no, this is my coffee. Go drink drain cleaner. Ooh, I think I have some arsenic in the fridge." That was dean's humor. He rolled Boo off of him and rose with his coffee. He glared at Sean who shrugged in return before Dean walked to the door, "I'm heading out to meet some friends, Sean. Because I have a social life. You should get one. All you have is the blue omega." With a cold shoulder, Dean strode out the door, calling, "Don't let it touch anything." And he was gone. Sean smiled and shrugged to Boo at first, but Dean's omega comment kinda pissed him off... but he didn't wanna upset Dean. He had just let him bring Boo home. Sean blushed and gestured around him in embarrassment, "Well, um, what's ours is yours... make yourself at home. If you're hungry or thirsty, i-err... there's water?" He blushed again, remembering how bad he was with cooking and feeding himself. He once drank half a glass of sour milk before his brother pointed out that it was expired... The place was home, in a sense.

Boo simply laughed at his comments, though she nearly fell off the couch when he rolled her off of him. Clinging desperately to the couch was the only thing that prevented her from falling. At first she tried to ignore his parting omega comment, though after a moment she gave him the middle finger. Granted, he was turned around and would never see but, still meant something to her. Being the omega bothered her more than anything, but only Sean knew that, maybe. She'd never actually told him how much it hurt her, but she never really felt like she had to tell him something for him to know. He was just always there for her, the big brother she'd never had and always wanted. Except for she really didn't want him to be her big brother. Turning back to her friend, she stood up and after immediately getting dizzy, plopped back down. "Um, no, I'm good." Neither her or Sean were good cooks, or at least that was what she gathered from past times they'd spent together. It was always his brother cooking or take-out. Not that she minded, it was nice going on a food run with Sean and sitting together in the dark. "What now?" Boo said before falling back onto the couch, legs still dangling over the armrest.

Sean smiled and walked over to her and sat down on the couch next to her head, "Now you can do whatever you like. If you're tired or stressed, rest. Can I get you anything? Pillow, blanket?... if you want, you can go sleep in my bed?", he offered. His room was pretty much a square with blank walls and a dresser in the corner and a bed centred beneath the window. Not much, but what he had was her's. She looked pretty tired, so if she wanted to sleep in the bed he'd probably have to carry her. Not that he minded. He kinda liked it actually. He was strong so it didn't bother him. Plus she was tiny. Not that she was weak, and she certainly didn't deserve to be omega... that still upset him. That's part of the reason he was a delta; he was still furious with the clan for giving her that stigma. She was no omega, she was so much more than that... "If you want to sleep, you can take the bed. I'll carry you there if you like, or we can sit here on the couch." He shrugged. He didn't care which, as long as it was with her.

"Um..hm..." As soon as Sean sat beside her, she pulled her legs over the armrest and curled up into a ball, placing her head on his thigh. "I'm tired Seany." Boo said with eyes closed, trying to hold back a yawn but only being successful with looking completely mentally impaired. But that didn't matter, it wasn't like Sean was going to make fun of her for looking funny. Or... well he wouldn't make fun of her out loud. She had no idea what he was thinking. The girl was tempted to shift into a wolf and crawl into Sean's lap, as she really wasn't much heavier in wolf form. Another reason she was omega, she was barely the size of a Husky in wolf form. Though it proved to be a good thing when they needed someone quicker and more agile, though it was a disadvantage when they went into actual fights. She couldn't take hits like the other wolves could, and she almost always needed a 'guard'. That was, if they even let her into fights, which was unlikely in itself. But she stayed in her wolf form, only sitting up for a moment to pull off the black flowy shirt thing, leaving her in the white camisole as she laid back where she was before.

Sean smile at the little girl lying next to him. She was so cute... And so fragile... He supposed that was why he always felt the need to protect her. She looked so peaceful... He lightly brushed some of her blue hair behind her ear and smiled. "Sleep well." Sean leaned his head back and closed his eyes. He could stay here til she woke up. He felt so bad she had been forced to sleep on subways and buses, he felt like he had failed her. Now she was tired though, and he would be here for her. He sat very still so as not to disturb her. He could hear his wolf trying to tell him something and he could hear Boo's name, but he silenced the wolf. He pushed it back as far as he could... Man, he wished he didn't have to share his mind... oh, well. Sean continued to lie there and wait for Boo to wake up. Or Dean to get home. If Dean got home and saw the girl asleep in his lap he'd probably flip... not that Sean cared. Right now he just wanted boo to be happy. He quickly sent Dean a text asking him if it'd be inconvenient to pick up some food or something on the way home. Dean went out a lot. And Sean didn't mind. Gave him more time with Boo alone.

He smiles again at her she seemed so out of place there but, so right where she needed to be to him. He always could almost see how people are feeling and if they need a hand. He could just see it in their faces and in her face he just say what looked to him like pain and worry. He nods lightly to say yes to her asking him if she could call him mickey. Then holds out his hand for a handshake as she tells him her nickname. "Well nice to finally meet you and get to know you a little Kay and as for seeing me play we have a show the day before the blue moon. I try to get my whole pack out to the bar that night. You see I know the owner and we all can get in on show night and even drank. "Allergic?" She asked, smirking softly after his performance. She couldn't help but laugh. It was funny, how he freaked out, punched himself, just because a spider was sitting on his shoulder. She watched the insect fall from his form, hurriedly crawled away into the crack in the wall. Her eyes settled on his for a moment and she shook her head. "Sure. Whatever you say." She answered simply. She kept a firm hold on her book and sighed. She really didn't want to go to class.

"Do you know of an awesome place to get coffee?" Cade asked.

Bars meant drinking, and partying, and probably drugs too. "Um, well I'd like to come... but I don't think I can really get into a bar." Biting her lip, she shrugged faintly and looked away from him. "And I guess that really isn't my... idea of fun." Her idea of fun was probably sitting at home and playing video games, or writing, or reading. Not getting drunk and drinking and being an idiot. But she did still want to see him play, so perhaps she would go on another day. It was really doubtful she could get into a bar anyways, she may have been seventeen, but looked about fifteen or sixteen. Which meant she definitely was not getting into a bar anytime soon. Not to mention she wasn't really looking forward to the blue moon, so she would probably stay up that night and worry her head off about having to shift into that terrible animal again. Oh what fun this would be. Maybe she would just skip on Friday.

"I'm serious! I mean, totally allergic. Like, I'll die." Yeah, of embarrassment because you're terrified of a little spider. It wasn't his fault though, insects freaked him out. Little six... eight... whatever legged creature all crawling around and stuff. It gave him goosebumps, in a bad way. It was just, gross. His brother had a spider once, woke up with the freaking thing crawling on his cheek. Scariest thing ever, he screamed and it almost went in his mouth, since then he hasn't been able to go to sleep with his mouth open. Meaning when he was sick, he barely slept.

Cadence spoke of getting coffee next, and he was grateful for the change in subject. With a grin, he nodded. "Yupp, it called Starbucks." He made a slight 'o' with his mouth before laughing. Everyone knew what Starbucks was, he just wanted to be a bit of an ass. "Why? Want to skip?"

Carmine's eyes fluttered open to the sound of sizzling on a pan. Of course, Jasper would be making breakfast at freaking six in the morning. She flipped over onto her stomach and pushed herself up wit her arms. Then she strethed in a cat-like way and sat back on her heels. Cam looked around to analyze where she was. My bedroom. Obviously. She let out a sigh, and threw her legs over the side of the bed. Today was just one of those days. One of those days where you really don't want to get up. She only had a few more days until the Blue Moon. Though she'd been longing for it, she also felt nervous thinking about it. After getting out of bed, she grabbed her clothes and a towel and made her way to the shower.

When she was finished, she got dressed and brushed her wet hair. Then she made her way to the kitchen and nearly ran into Japer, who was holding two plates of bacon and eggs. His face scrunched up in concentration as he quickly balanced himself again. Then he set the plates on the bar-like island in the middle of their kitchen and looked at her. "Morning, Cam." He said casually, as she went to go get herself a fork. "G'morning Jas." She replied, and looked at the plates of food. They both sat and ate in silence. She knew he was still mad at her for threatening yesterday to stay a wolf forever, but she didn't want to bring it up. I was only kidding anyways. He's literally half of me. I can't do anything without him. She thought, and sat back. "Yum. Thanks." She said, and reluctantly rested her head on his shoulder. "I... Sorry, Jas. " Carmine mumbled, not wanting to appologize. The guilt was killing her though. She'd threatened to leave him, run away and be a free and rebellious little wolf, and here he was, making her breakfast for christ's sake.

Jasper paused as he was about to put some bacon in his mouth, and shrugged her off. "I know you don't mean it." He said, and she continued staying quiet. She had no Idea which one he meant. That she didn't mean that she wanted to leave him? Or that she didn't mean she was sorry? Both, probably. Cam rose from her chair and put her dishes away, thinking about what he'd just said and deciding to be stubborn about it. She stormed over to the front hall and threw her coat and shoes on. It was about the time she'd usually leave for school anyways. Jasper had just finished putting his dishes away and came to watch her, leaning in the doorframe. She shot him a glare as she opened the door. "Don't say I didn't try, asshole." She hissed, and shut it behind her, leaving him to fuss about where she'd gone off to.

"You can never really tell what's going on with her."

"What do you expect? She's your father's child. Go and make sure she goes to school. She's practically failing science because she's always skipping in the morning."

"Alright, love you."
Jasper said, and hung up. He'd called his mother to let her know that Cam was probably going to skip today because of her exit. He put his coat on and then his shoes, and walked out the door, raising his face to the air. He followed her scent all the way to she school, where she'd just nearly had a cigarette hit her. She was about to say something to the person who'd thrown it when Jas threw an arm over her shoulder. "Don't even think about it. Keep walking." He said, and pulled her along. She wriggled free and crossed her arms. "You did that whole dramatic scene back there and stormed off, only to go to school?" He arched an eyebrow and chuckled. "Shut-up. I knew you would follow me," She said matter-of-factly, and the continued by saying, "so I went anyways".

Jas nodded. "Understandable. I'm going to go to the cafe at lunch with a few others." He said over his shoulder as he walked into the school. Carmine let out a sigh of releif as he walked away, glad to see he wasn't mad at her. Or maybe he was? Nevermind. She turned around and narrowed her eyes, searching for the person who'd thrown the cigarette. Once she saw him, she stomped over to the cigarette, her jaw clenched. She picked it up and looked over. He was sitting on a bench, next to some girl, who she now recognised as a new member of the other pack. The beta, actually. Cam walked over and stood right infront of them, her eyes still narrow. "Watch where you throw things." She snapped, dropping the cigarette on his lap. Then, her eyes met his. No. NO. NO. NO. It was Mickey the Alpha of the other pack. She, the Omega of her own pack, just dropped a dirty, used cigar onto the Alpha of the other pack's lap. She stood there in awkward silence and humility. Her eyes were still narrowed, though, and her jaw still clenched.

Stubborn. Fierce. This is my wolf's actions. Not mine.

"Thinking about it." Cade answered. She really didn't want to go to school. There was too many people on campus as it was. Her eyes however looked behind her, counting mentally just how much students roamed the campus. Her eyes settled on a few others and for a moment, she seemed lost. oh hell, she needed to get out of there. Her eyes looked back at the boy and shrugged. "I think a coffee sounds good right about now. It's not like the schools going to miss me. If anything, they'll just have one less distracted student for a day." She answered honestly.

Cadence seemed like ditching would be the best option right about now. The wolf inside her was just scratching to be released but she refused to let it. She wanted to eat...lately she's been wanting to eat a lot. Instead of satisfying that hunger, she resulted in just drinking liquids and some peices of jerky.

"Wanna go?"
