"If you try to reach inside of your heart
you can find forgiveness, or at least the start
And from that place where you can forgive
is where Hope, and Love, also thrive and live

And with each step that you try to take
and with that chance that your heart might break
Comes so much happiness, and so much strength
which Alone can carry you a fantastic length

For hate and anger will not get you there
and though you say that you just don't care
You can EASILY avoid the pain on which hate feeds
. . . the kind of hurt that No one needs

Just make the move, take that first stride
let go of the thing known as "Foolish Pride"
Maybe then you can start to repair the past
into something strong, that will mend, and last!"

The Story:

A few days earlier...
You arrive on the nameless island around noon the day after you received your letter. The flight was excellent, you slept good, and now you stand looking up at the mansion before you. It sits on a rocky cliff, lofty towers disappearing into the clouds above. Three sides of the cliff of Geraldine Manor drop down into a dangerous-looking ocean dotted with razor-sharp rocks, the fourth side is home to the longest driveway you've ever seen that wraps all the way down the cliff and ends at a huge landing strip/boat dock/helipad nestled on the beach. The driver has long since pulled away and you stand, gaping at the monumental sight before you, with your suitcase at your side. Realizing, you're too stunned to go anywhere without help, the butler of the mansion rolls his eyes and shuffles out across the green lawn towards you, trying to avoid bumping into various tropical plants and beautiful bird bath and water fountain sculptures. "Welcome to Geraldine Manor." The clean, short, and plump man says to you in a voice that sounds stuffed with a cold and owns an obvious accent, though you can't put a finger on where it's from. "I'm afraid you've arrived quite early and sometime before our host. Shall I show you to your room where you can unpack?" The question brings you back to reality and you nod. The man then proceeds to do what any good butler does and takes your coat before leading you into the house and up to your room. Your room is stunning and the view is one facing the ocean on the other side of the cliff. Quickly, you unpack and once you are settled in, the butler, Mr. Kentsworth, takes you down to the parlor to sit with the other residents of the household for a while before returning to your room for bed. As you approach the room something changes, you can feel it in the way the hairs on the back of your neck rise to attention...
And then Mr. Kentworth pushes open the wooden double doors and you see them. The other residents. There are eleven in all in the room and only some of them talk, sitting in an uneasy whisper. All eyes turn to you as you enter and you realize that most of these faces are unfamiliar to you... Though some are. Particularly one. All of these people you have seen around school or your little hometown, but that one person... What are they doing here? How could someone have brought them here at the same time as you? Was this a joke? And then there was another who looked at you with the same questions you are thinking. It could be the same person, or maybe someone entirely different, but the fact is that you have hurt someone badly in this room and someone has hurt you. Anger swells up inside you, but you sit calmly, trying not to let these people ruin your trip. And then the butler speaks. "As I have said, you all have arrived strangely early... Several days before our host in fact. Please enjoy the manor until our host shows up." From the corner of the room you see an amused smile play wickedly across the face of the only figure in the room you don't remember seeing at home. The face is one you've definitely seen before, but you can't put a name to it...

The Twist:

So much has changed since the day of your first arrival at the mansion. The first two days were made up of trying to stay away from those faces that shocked you that first night. They consisted of absolute bliss for the place truly was paradise. Anything a person wanted was theirs. If only you could have those days back now. On the third night you hear them, the voices. they come from the hallway and you can tell by the way they echo that they're the voices of conflict. Curiosity causes you to slip silently from your bed and peak your head out the door of you bedroom to see who is engaged in the argument. You are a little surprised to find that the two arguing are one whose face you cannot see, and the face of the one that held a wicked, somehow familiar smile that first night. The two of these people shout and scream, and as the argument races on, their voices raise higher and the faceless figure advances on the somewhat familiar one, pushing the two back slowly towards where you watch from, so in fear of being caught, you duck your head back inside and slip back into bed. You cannot sleep though until the argument is cut off suddenly by a muffled noise that you don't register as a scream until the next morning. It is on the fourth morning that everything changes. The body of the faceless figure from the argument the night before is found in the hallway, hanging from the ceiling, a rope around the neck and a gag in the mouth. At the feet of the lifeless body is a stool... The figure was only a couple inches from touching the stool. What a cruel thing. If they had only been able to stretch a little further... You can imagine the kicking and the writhing to reach that little four-legged bit of safety placed tauntingly at the figures feet. On the stool lies a letter.
The second letter:
Dearest readers,

I apologize for not arriving on time and for leaving you in the dark as to who is hosting your lovely vacation. Are you having a good time? I sure hope you're doing better then the unfortunate one above. Anyway, I'm sure you have noticed by now that I have selected my visitors carefully, for you probably know every face in the house, minus the staff of course. A couple stand out to you hm? You have been hurt badly in the past by one of these people yes? So badly, forgiveness never even crosses your mind. How sad that such a beautiful love be replaced by ugly hate. So here's the game my friends: The house is now locked. There is no escaping it for all the windows (if you haven't noticed) are barred and made with shatter-proof glass. You may not leave the house and even if you managed (which you wont) the helipad is clear of copters, the landing strip is empty of planes, the boat dock is vacant of ships, and even the driveway has no car. My house staff cannot fly, navigate, or map so there is no use in trying to force them to help you escape either. Are we clear that there is no escaping? Good. Now as I mentioned, you are locked in this house with a group of twel-er.. silly me, Eleven people including yourself. You loved one of these people once and they betrayed you badly. Could you love them again? You probably immediately answered no right? Well you see, I am doing a sort of experiment. I am testing levels of betrayal vs forgiveness. If you can learn to forgive then you have a chance at survival as well as love. Oh happy day. But if not, as you see above, the house is rigged with traps that are set to go off when they hear or monitor any form of conflict. Not all of these traps are as fatal or brutal as the one I have displayed for you, but you never know which you will set. From here on out you are on your own. It is your choice. Forgive and make it out alive, ignore my request and starve as your food supply dwindles, or argue and set the traps. I will return to you as soon as the only people left are those who have chosen to forgive. I am always watching. Please participate in my experiment, it's your own life we're talking about. Oh! and do enjoy the manor, it was built specifically for your entertainment.

Sincerely,
Your host; Owner of Geraldine Manor

Kalani Prim Rose

Kalani had been the first of eleven people to find the body and the letter. The room that'd been assigned to her by the butler, Mr. Kentsworth, had been a mere foot away from where the man hung in the hallway. She'd come out of her room and collided with it, almost knocking over the stool at it's feet. Then she'd stepped back and realized the true horror of what had happened. After she'd read the letter, Kalani was too stunned to do anything and someone was heading towards her down the hallway. Probably wondering why there was someone hanging from the hallway. So she'd dropped it and run.

Now she was sitting in a plush red chair in an empty movie theater in the mansion. On the screen multiple children's cartoons were playing, but she wasn't interested in them. She was thinking about what had just happened. It was the perfect place to think really, alone in the dark. Though despite this, her head spun and she cursed herself over and over again. I knew it was too good to be true. She shook her spinning head and groaned, plopping it into her hands.

It was happening again. She was losing everything. It all started the day she'd said yes to him. She should have never done it. Cheated on him. Though she could never forgive Romegio for what had happened with Jim, she did feel bad for cheating on him. Her life was always so delicate, never was there something in it that she could be sure she'd never lose. And now she was stuck in this huge mansion and she always felt like no matter how big it was, she was never far enough away from him. The first few days it had been easier, but now she was going to be forced to make contact with him. She had to get home to her brother, her adopted parents, her life. She couldn't die here. Her adoptive parents were sweet people, but they didn't know how to handle anything different. They grew up perfect and lived that way. They'd never be able to take care of a brain damaged young man even if they wanted to.

Standing, she decided to head out to the greenhouse. It was the closest she'd have to fresh air for a while and she was pretty sure he hadn't found it. Though if he had, it'd be way to easy for him to find her there, if he hadn't it could take him a while. When Kalani reached the elevator, she let the golden doors slide shut around her and pressed the "Roof" button.

There were two sections of the roof. One was the huge glass dome that held a pool and three hot tubs along with an amazing veiw of the island, sand to make it seem like a beach, and real palm trees looming over it. Though when you crossed this area to the glass door on the other side, you found yourself in yet another glass-encased room.

This room was humid and warmed her skin as soon as she entered, stickiness forming in her jet black hair. Around her, plants of all kinds grew and created the most beautiful garden she'd ever seen. Closing the door behind her, she followed the little stone walkway under her feet through what felt like pure wilderness to a little opening in the thick trees and wild plants that held a bench, deep, aqua pond, waterfall that stretched up towards the invisible top of the dome. Ignoring the bench, she kicked off her shoes, dipped them lightly into the pool and sat with a sigh. What do I do now? I have to talk to him... Maybe I should just wait until he finds me? Listening to tropical birds and bugs, the humidity didn't help her swirling thoughts and she felt a sense of peace. Maybe there were no traps up here. Maybe when he found her, she could shout all she wanted. It didn't seem like there could be anything dangerous in this little piece of heaven. Then again... When she'd first arrived, she'd thought the whole mansion was a piece of Heaven.

Kalani leaned forward and let the water soak all the way up to her knees. She was wearing a pair of denim shorts and a simple white tank top. Her hair fell in straight jet black layers around her native american face and caramel eyes that looked up at the mist above her that hid her view of the top of the dome. It felt like she was truly sitting in the wild for the pond and waterfall weren't little garden ponds. They were the real, glittering deal. The earth under her fingers was warm and soft and the water around her ankles a perfect, aqua blue. Now she was really relaxed, and again the question came to her... What do I do now?

Emery Aynne Jameson

When Emery had first arrived at the mansion she was ecstatic. She had finally thought she had gotten a break, and Lord knows she needed it. Her life had been crazy these last few weeks, between trying to hold herself together and pretend like everything was okay, her year-end examinations, her parents' social events and above all, avoiding Kiler while doing all of that. Things started going down hill within a few hours of her arrival. Walking down the stairs into the main room she was calm, she immediately had recognized a few of the people from around school and such, she'd even spoken to a few of them a couple of times. Then, while scanning the room casually she noticed one, all too familliar face. This can't be happening. You have got to be kidding me. She had ducked out of that room and back up into her room so fast that she barely had time to come up with a decent excuse for anyone who asked. She spent the rest of the night in her room faking a stomach ache. She knew it was childish but she wasn't ready to face him yet.

Things got even worse when she woke up to a dead body a few yards from her door. And now there was this darn letter. She had managed to avoid him up until this point but now she was faced with an ulimatum: Man up and face the boy who broke her heart or die. That may seem like an easy decision, and logically it is, obviously she was going to face him, but that sure didn't mean she wanted to or planned on doing it any time soon. She felt betrayed and knew that forgiveness wasn't something she was ready to do at this point.

She decided she needed t o leave her room. All of this isolation was driving her crazy and she figured that she might as well try to have a nice time here in the chance that she could very well die soon. She dressed in a pair of jeans and a simple tee shirt and fixed up her hair and applied a small amount of makeup and strode into the hallway. She headed down to the elevator and pushed the button marked with a "B". The elevator made its typical elevator noises and rocketed downward. When it stop and the doors parted Emery found herself in a large cavern like place. "Wow." She breathed, stepping into the dim lighting. The walls were made of rocks and in the center of the room was a massive pool of clear blue water. This was probably her favourite place yet, It was simple and nothing was very fancy but it was still so gorgeous; like being in an underground lake that only seemed to exist in movies.

Romegio Dante

Lying soundlessly in his dim lighted room Romegio was thinking, Why does she have to be here of all people? I accepted this vacation to get away from all the dramas of life and now I am stuck here with her... Well at least it will only be until this vacation ends, this island is big enough for us to never see each other. Playing with this thought in his head made him even more saddened. Why do I have to avoid Kali?, he thought. I wasn't the person who cheated on their partner... Romegio lied their in silent thought for a few seconds. "I didn't mean to hurt you Kali... you know I would never mean to hurt Jeff... He was your brother, but he was also my friend. Why can't you see that I would have only acted out of self defense?", Romegio said in his secluded bedroom. He knew what happened was an accident, but he also knew that she couldn't accept it. He knew that she only acted out of emotion against him, he thought that they needed space from each other. Distance makes the heart grow fonder as they say... But this vacation is ruining it... Maybe I shouldn't have accepted it, he thought. After a few minutes Romegio had changed into his clothes, which consisted of; a black Emerica "Emexico" shirt, dark green washed jeans, a pair of mixed matched green and red converse, and a Rastafarian beanie. Romegio then placed his iPod into his jean pocket and placed his skullcandy headphones over his ears as they played, "Hotel California".

After leaving his room Romegio continued walking down the hallway. Because he wasn't watching where he was walking he had tripped over, which he found odd. Looking up Romegio saw that there was a person hanging from the ceiling. This made Romegio paralyzed by fear as he couldn't believe what he was seeing. Why is there are dead body hanging from the ceiling?, he thought. He then noticed a letter which was now lying on the floor, curious Romegio picked it up and read the contents of the letter.

After he was done reading the letter he was even more stunned by what it said then the dead body which was hanging from the ceiling. So... Kalani being here wasn't a coincidence, it was planned. Someone knew what had happened between us and has placed us in a situation as to make us forgive each other. But not only us, all other guests have issues with another guest. Now I wouldn't be against this but now we are threatened by the possibility of death if we don't... This vacation just became more delightful", Romegio thought sarcastically. I wonder if any of the other guests know about this yet? After a few seconds Romegio had placed the stool upright and had placed the letter back on top of it. He had also written underneath the writing on the letter, "If you have read this do not act recklessly. We should all meet later to talk about this in the Parlor room. Take this seriously as you can see one of us is already dead. - signed Romegio Dante." Romegio was scared, he didn't know what to do but in his experience he knew it was better to create a plan then not to. Live and let Live was his motto, but if it's peoples lives on the line he couldn't live it at this moment.

Romegio then began to walk around the mansion looking for those who haven't read the letter. He instinctively had a feeling to go to the roof, he didn't know why but he knew he should. After walking for sometime Romegio had come to an elevator which he then used to go to the "Roof". Once he had reached the roof he looked around and saw the surroundings, it was beautiful. Why is it that in such a beautiful place, atrocities are happening?, he thought. Looking over the place he then noticed the Greenhouse which had all different types of plants within it. Romegio then walked towards the Greenhouse and opened the door. After entering the Greenhouse Romegio noticed a waterfall he then noticed that there was someone sitting within the room, it was Kalani. Oh... so this is why I felt like coming up here... How bothersome, he thought. He then walked up behind Kalani and said, "It's beautiful isn't it? Have you been enjoying your time here? Whether you did or not..." he then paused for a few seconds. "Life here is going to be anything but a vacation..." He stood there waiting for her to turn around.

#, as written by Thadine
Kiler Thurlow

He had never seen a dead body before.

Maybe that was why it stuck in his mind so much. The sight of the boy's hanged body was unable to escape his mind. It was like it was etched into his own brain, stuck there, repeating over and over again whenever he needed a reminder of a fate that could be possible for him, if he did not do what that letter spoke of. That damn letter. Everything about this place...he couldn't believe that he had been tricked into coming here. He thought that there would just be strangers here, no one he knew. Afterall, what was the chance of having someone one you knew all too well coming here as well? Very slim. Kiler knew that. He thought he would enjoy this place, it would be a vacation away from his home life.

But of course not. Everything he came in contact with, every opportunity, turned to a horrible situation. That was just the way it worked, and he had learned that. He just happened to have the worst luck possible. At the beginning, everything was wonderful. Most of the people seemed to be a bit isolated, focused on themselves, not socializing with others a whole lot. It was a few days in that he saw the one person that he did recognize. His vacation instantly got worse, yet he didn't have to try to avoid her. Emery, the one person he had gotten close to so long ago, was already trying her best to be alone and by herself. He didn't mind. Much.

The dead body of, he could assume, the person who was yelling at someone outside of the rooms, had just frightened him. He was always a light sleeper, and had heard the sound of people's footsteps down the hallway. His curiosity got the better of him, and he had gone out of his room to see what the thing was that people were waking up to see. He wished he hadn't seen it. He had to face Emery now, and only until the threat of injury or death. What kind of a sadistic freak welcomed people to a beautiful mansion, only to have them face the people they didn't want to remember, under threat of traps set up around the home?

Though he would have really enjoyed exploring the place more...he didn't dare to. What if he saw Emery somewhere, and they got in an argument? He didn't want to end up like that boy, or even the slightest bit injured. But then again, the words of the letter seemed to haunt him. Stay here until the food supply begins to dwindle down. Either decision he made, to go and speak with her, or ignore her, he would probably he punished. But the thing was...he was worried for his life. There was a minimum amount of food left. They could be here forever, all of them, if they all simply ignored the letter, and the letter was nothing to ignore.

Kiler sighed quietly. Too much thoughts, too much thinking was required with all of this. Maybe he should just go by with guy decisions? It was what he always did. But then again, those fast decisions were what lead him here in this huge mess.

He crossed his arms out on top of the table in front of him, resting the side of his head over his arms, staring out of the tall, wide windows that looked out to a beautiful ocean view. The dining room was where he spent most of him time now, sitting down and just thinking, watched the mesmerizing waves of the ocean roll up and down. He hardly went anywhere else, unless it was his own room, or maybe the library. Rather secluded areas, just to hide from everything and everyone.

Maybe their food supply wouldn't run out? Maybe this mysterious 'Mansion Owner' was just doing that to scare everyone into forgiving eachother quicker. But then again, that was highly unlikely. This person had the guts to kill a person. And what would they gain from seeing everyone happy with who they had once been happy with before? There were hundreds, thousands of questions running through his mind. He was drowning in thought, yet no answers were rising to the surface, nothing was reaching down to help him up out of his ocean of worry and possibilities.

He closed his eyes, struggling to clear his mind of all worry-some thoughts. Opening them again, his pale blue eyes focused once more at the waves rolling in the ocean. Strands of his sand-colored hair blocked some of his vision, yet he didn't bother to do anything. Everything was going to turn out okay. He just had to constantly remind himself of that. He had been through a lot, and everything had turned out fine. Nothing bad was going to happen here.

Well, at least he hoped. But for some reason, whenever he tried to think about the positive, the dead body appeared in his mind, and it was wearing a different face. His own.

The mansion was huge.

That was for starters. When Trinity received the letters, she accepted it, assuming it would be some sort of island, island. Somewhat close to home. But, hey, this was good enough. Well, accept for who else was here that is.

trinity wandered the corridors of the large building, her eyes looking around cautiously, unsure of what to expect. For spome reason, the sight of the dim, cold hallways reminded her of a horror scene waiting to happen. Like, who knew what could come out? But she would be ready. Just in case. Or maybe who else could round one of the corners. The name echoed in her mind, making her hands clench into frustrated fists. She had hoped whern she came here that she would be able to get away from Christian. But no, everywhere she went, he had to be there too. What was up with that?

Snapping out of her thoughts, she decided to explore outside of the mansion. Maybe find some place she could escape to if necessary. A hideout sort of things. Ever since she moved to Tennessee, she had definetely needed one of those. And let me tell you, she was pro at finding them. Trinity heard the noise of footsteps on stone switch to the soft thud of her usual flip flops on the manicured grass. She looked around, twirling a strand of her blonde and brown hair on her index finger.

Whatever happened here, she just had a gut feeling would change her when, and if, she left. Just the musty smell of her surroundings told her that much.

Kalani Prim Rose

Kali was so lost in memories, that at first when she heard the voice behind her, with her honey colored eyes closed, she thought it was a vivid daydream. The voice was so familiar to her, she could have recognized it if she were half deaf. A lazy smile spread across her face with the instinct of four years at it's sound. And then a sparkling red fish flipped in the pool at her knees and she remembered where she was. She shouldn't be hearing that voice and worse- it shouldn't bring her joy.

Kalani stood sharply and whipped around, black hair tossing from her shoulders to her back. It wasn't a daydream, he was standing there real as life. At first, her eyes took him in hungrily. She hadn't seen him in a week since that day and in reality, she missed him, but she was too angry and hurt to bring herself to admit it. When she had looked him over, she realized that he'd asked her a question and all she'd done was stand up and stare at him like an idiot.

Finally, Kali looked away and took a few steps back into the cold pool, letting the water tickle the backs of her knees. She could't talk for some reason so she only nodded before looking back at him. Why did he have to be here? Why did he have to find her? Why... Why did everything always seem to fall apart for her? He knew that too. He knew that she wasn't really the pretty cheerleader everyone wanted to be. No.. He knew her parents were adoptive and he knew she only acted perfect so that she could keep something stable in her life. Most importantly, he knew that he'd ruined it. Or at least she'd thought he did. Maybe he didn't know. Maybe he hated her so much for cheating on him that he couldn't even realize it.

After another minute, she finally found her voice. "Yeah, it's beautiful. Peaceful." She shrugged, ignoring his other question. She wasn't a liar, but she wasn't about to tell him that she'd hated every second she'd been here so far. He'd know why. Why'd he come up here? Did he know I'd be here? A few feet from her heels was a drop off that she knew she could dive into and swim until she reached a cave. She itched to do it. To rid herself of this awkwardness, but she knew if she did, she'd be ignoring him and she'd never get off this island.

Trinity Turlington

The crisp breeze suddenly blew through, blowing her wavy hair behind her. With an annoyed grunt she put her head down and watched the ground as she walked, her hands in her sweatshirt's pockets. She wore a camo sweatshirt with white skinny jeans. Underneath her sweatshirt was a tye-dye V-neck shirt. Her black flip flops slapped against the down in a hypnotic sound. Slap. Slap. Slap. Then she came to a gradual halt. Standing on a rather beautiful hill, with a view of the crystal waters of a dock and beach below. Her head slowly tilted to the side as she watched waves crash up on the shore. One of her favorite sights...

With a sigh, Trinity sunk to her knees and then sat back, her legs outstretched in front of her. She leaned back on her elbows lazily as she kept her steady gaze on the scene below, feeling the chilly breeze sweep through the clearing. She had the plan of steering clear of the mansion as long as she could. Stay outside. Which honestly wasn't much of a challenge for her. She hated being inside. Feeling confined to a room. Outside she had the freedom anyone could ever want. She smiled softly and closed her eyes slowly.

Noelle Borealeas

Noelle's eyes fluttered open, and she flipped onto her stomach and pressed her face against against the pillow, moaning. She wasn't all that tired, she just didn't want to accept the fact that Robert was somewhere on the island. She didn't particularly care about him being there, she'd almost accepted that it was an accident that he'd punched Isaac in the face. It didn't make sense, but she'd realized that acceptance was better than letting it boil up inside of her. Kaitlyn had been right, it would rot her insides, and sadly, bitterness was the road her brother had chosen. Though Noelle had accepted the mistake he had made, he refused to realize that Isaac was never her boyfriend and the crash was an accident.
With a heavy sigh, she sat up in her bed and stretched. She walked over to a small dresser and attempted to tame her mop of black hair with no success. She grumbled and covered it with a pink beanie, then darkened her eyes with thick eyeliner and walked out of the door, heading for the kitchen. Noelle didn't bother changing out of her sleepwear that consisted of a dark knitted sweater that slid off of her one shoulder and a pair of black pajama shorts.
She yawned and ran into something, stepping back, she raised her hand and opened her mouth to apologize to whomever she had run into, but the words caught in her throat and her eyes widened as she choked on a scream. She quickly regained her composure and held out her hand to stop the body from swinging. Her eyes went to the letter and, instead of picking it up, she kneeled over to read it. She felt her appetite disappear, but kept her cool and quickly whirled around and walked the opposite way, away from the corpse.
She didn't know where she was going, anywhere but there.

Romegio Dante

Kalani had turned around, she looked absolutely beautiful but then again she always did. Despite this though she seemed awkward as if she didn't want to be around him. I don't blame her for feeling awkward, Romegio thought. She stood there silently for a while not knowing what to say or found it hard to say anything. Kalani had responded to me by nodding. Romegio knew her all too well, he knew that she didn't want him to be there with her because of what happened between them. But he also knew that she missed him, because he also missed her. They knew each others thoughts better then others did, which made it hard for Romegio when he found out she had cheated on him. That day was the first time where he couldn't understand her, the first time he felt like a stranger to her, which made him feel like he meant nothing to her.

She had then looked away and walked a few steps into the pool as if trying to find a way to escape. Again, I don't blame her, he thought. Kalani had then said, "Yeah, it's beautiful. Peaceful." She had then shrugged at Romegio's last question, which he knew meant that she didn't want to talk about it. He found this fine, Who would want to talk about it?, he thought. Romegio felt as if she was trying to distance herself from him, to try and run away. He would've to, but he knew that there was something more important at stake then social comforts . And that was their lives.

Romegio continued to stand where he was and began to talk to Kalani by saying, "Yes this place is peaceful... well maybe I should've said, it was peaceful until their was a dead body hanging from the ceiling in a hallway." He said it straightforward, knowing that he couldn't take this matter lightly. "One of us is dead, and if that letter was true then we are all fighting for survival... I know that there will be some who will do nothing, but I just can't sit around and wait for something else to happen... Kali, the best chance for survival is for us to play this game, even if we are against it. He paused knowing that he was speaking out of turn, Who am I to try and make sense of this situation, he thought. "I don't need you to respond to this, but Kali... you have to make it out alive of this one... No matter what happens you have to promise me that you will get out of here alive." Romegio then began to walk towards the exit of the greenhouse. "I'm going to go to the parlor room... hopefully the others got my message... Join latter if you would like... I don't think I need to say this but, be careful Kali..." As he continued to walk towards the exit Romegio said, "Funny... I found a Primrose in a greenhouse... Ironic, no?"

Once he had left the Greenhouse Romegio had made his way down to the Parlor room, waiting for anyone who had received the message which he had left on the letter. As he sat waiting patiently an idea had manifested itself in his mind. Why was the message given as a letter? I guess it is because we had all been invited her via one, and there is no other way for us to receive a message since there is no internet access or working phone. This however is a secluded island, how would we be able to receive letters? The letter had also said that there was no form of transport off of this island, and that there was no escape from the island or this mansion. Thinking of this rationally there would always be a way out, we just wouldn't know the way. Since there are ways in and out of the mansion the one who had instigated this game wouldn't risk the chance of us finding it and getting out. This meant also that nothing could get into the mansion, meaning that receiving letters is impossible... Unless... The mansion owner isn't off this island, no in fact it would be easier for them to control this environment and game if they were situated at least on this island. That would make it impossible for us to escape the island. I also think that because of this game and it's structure that this person wants to control it even to the extent of making it impossible to leave the mansion, there could be no one entering or leaving the mansion. So the mansion owner could very well be inside this mansion with us... No matter what, I will find out who the owner is... I will do anything to get Kalani out of this death trap. Despite his looks and being seen as a muscle head jock, Romegio was highly intelligent. He swore he would find out who this mysterious owner is and find a way for all of them to get off the island. "Even if it kills me..."

Trinity Turlington

After a while, sitting in one place for so long got pretty boring. And not to mention stiff.

Trinity's eyes fluttered open and she slowly sat up, realizing she must have dozed off. Well, she couldn't blame herself, it was pretty peaceful right there. With a light chuckle she wondered how long that was going to last. Trinity soon got to her feet, bending down to touch her toes for a light stretch before twisting, back giving a crack. "Much better." she sighed and blinked. Then, she pivoted on her heel and began to walk back towards the mansion, taking one last look over her shoulder at the rolling waters.

As soon as the dim mansion came into view, the tropical girl came to a stop. Her blue gaze was locked on the place. "Wow." was all she said. She didn't know if she'd ever be able to get used to that. Just by the look of the place, it made her want to turn tail and sprint back to her little meadow. But instead, she took a breath and began to stride towards the large, dark, wooden doors that gave her an entrance into the side of the house. But what she didn't expect was the body hanging by a thick rope in the center of the dim corridor.

Once she had shut the door behind her, closing out the setting sun, she had walked a short distance, just to nearly run face first into a shoe. But, what had surprised her was that the shoe was a foot off the ground. She squeezed her eyes shut and looked up. A snowy white corpse hung above her. The gruesome figure made her gasp. Of course, she was surprised. But not as surprised as she would be if it was some jubilant Holiday Inn or something. The mansion looked creepy enough to contain this. Sort of.

A nudging sensation pulled at her feet, wanting her to run. As far away as she could, but before she had the chance, a letter caught her attention. Trinity fingered a silver necklace around her neck. With a silver key with a deep ocean blue jewel at the top. It was a reflex. She stooped down and grabbed the note, opening it. The words horrified her. Who would be so cruel to do this to somebody? "Harsh." she breathed, a rather stunned expression on her face.

This time, Trinity was aware of the dead body above her, and ducked under the 'floating' shoes. She continued down the hall, eyes open and alert for any more surprises. She saw an open door and peeked around the corner. Curious, but tentative, she slowly walked in. it seemed like some sort of living room. Or entertainment room. It was more modern, and a TV hung from the wall with a leather couch. In the corner there were some instruments. A guitar, piano, even a drum set. And a microphone. She itched to begin playing, but was too shocked. She managed to guide herself to one of the plush couches and leaned back, falling into it. There was a desk in the corner and a lamp. Also an antique bookshelf in the back, packed with books ranging from Little House on the Prairie, to The Hunger Games. But she just stayed where she was, staring at the fan, her mind spinning, thinking hard about what this could mean. How long do we have to stay here? Others must have the same issue as I do... she decided mentally. Trinity chewed her lip, her arm over the top of the couch.

Boredom of just sitting there finally drove her. She found the remotes location and flipped through different channels. She finally found MTV and watched some music videos that played. But her mind still wandered.

A lot.

Robert Trent

Robert twisted and turned in the bed as the images flashed through his mind. He looked down at his blood stained shirt and fell forward onto his knees crying. People bustled around him running to and fro trying their best to control the situation. Rain fell onto Roberts back while his face remained buried in his hands. He could hear creams, her screams? It gradually got louder and louder until Robert could bear it no more.

Suddenly he shot up, panting and sweating. He looked around the room, the screams persisted. "What the hell? Whats going on?" quickly he scrambled out of the bed and put on some clothes. He heard the others running out from their rooms with the same haste that had swept him out of his bed. At this stage his reactions were automatic he pulled the door towards him swinging it open with such force that it almost hit off the wall . His heart grew cold and his body stood stuck to the place he was standing. A lifeless and limp corpse. He saw people standing around with a letter almost as if it was some congregation, a ritual but these people had the same look of sheer horror on their faces as he did. The he realised that Noelle was missing and quickly looked back at the body. "It couldn't be could it? Does death follow her everywhere. Is this another one of her "friends" she decided she didn't need anymore?" Robert turned and walked briskly back towards his bedroom without reading the letter and without talking to the other people standing there.

Sarah Ann

Sarah heard several screams outside her room in the hallway when she woke up. She quickly tossed the covers over and jumped out of the plush silver sheeted bed grabbing her white tank-top and black skinny jeans throwing them on before racing out into the hallway nearly slamming her head on the cold and lifless body hanging from the ceiling. She screamed and felt her legs give out underneath her. She knew about this before anyone else had, and she had planned her act of heartbreak perfectly. Hanging infront of her was her supposed lover whom she had fought with the night before, and now the tears where streaming down her face as easily as she had sprung the trap on him. She looked away from him, from everyone else. "Get him down!" She cried hugging her knees and pressing herself against the wall, all the color in her face drained. She closed her eyes leaning her head back on the wall waiting for someone to listen to her and get the body down and get rid of it. She didn't bother checking the guests faces to see if they had any suspicions. She had been through twelve years of acting and had never once messed up a part.

Emery Aynne Jameson

Emery gaped at her surroundings. The masion was so beautiful and bright upstairs but something about this underground little hide-away intrigued her. She was amazed at the beauty of this simple place. Being down in the little cavernous pool house almost made her forget about everything else going on in her life. She determined that this was going to be her own little secret spot when she needed to get away from it all. She kicked off her shoes and slid them side by side, sitting on one of the simple chairs beside the pool. She couldn't resist the temptation any longer and slowy dipped her toes in the crystal clear-blue contents of the pool.

She glanced around behind her, she was alone, just the way she liked it. It was peaceful here, calm and relaxing. She didn't have to pretend here, if she wanted to scream or cry she could without having to worry about someone seeing. She contemplated jumping into the water, and of course she could just go back up to her room and change first but she didn't want to risk anyone following her down and then having to share her personal little spot.

She glanced over her shoulder yet again, determining that she was still alone in the large room beneath the mansion. She figured that the chances of anyone coming into the basement were very slim. She decided this pool and her alone time was too good of an opportunity to waste. She undid her jeans and slid them down and folded them into a pile and placing them on the chair she was once sitting in. She pulled her tee shirt over her head and tossed it on the chair lightly beside her jeans. She took a running leap toward the pool, springing herself off its edge and submurging herself in the clear blue water. It was that perfect temperature between warm and refreshingly cool. Emery smiled softly to herself, completely content. She knew this was exactly what she needed, a break, a break from trying to be perfect and hold it together, a break from thinking about their challenge, a break from thingking about Kiler and about what awaited her if she couldn't face it all. Death.

Kalani Prim Rose

"Yes this place is peaceful... well maybe I should've said, it was peaceful until their was a dead body hanging from the ceiling in a hallway." Kalani winced at his words, the image which was now burned onto her mind flashing across her closed eyelids. "One of us is dead, and if that letter was true then we are all fighting for survival... I know that there will be some who will do nothing, but I just can't sit around and wait for something else to happen... Kali, the best chance for survival is for us to play this game, even if we are against it." His words brought her back again and she opened her caramel eyes and bit her lip, watching him. It was so hard for her not to run to him and tell him she was sorry. It felt like torture for him to be so unreachable, but she couldn't do it. Even if she missed him, forgiving him would feel like betraying her brother. Again, he spoke, pulling her from her thoughts: "I don't need you to respond to this, but Kali... you have to make it out alive of this one... No matter what happens you have to promise me that you will get out of here alive." And at this she lifted her foot, ready to take the final step backwards, off the drop off, and into the deep end of the pool. But then he turned away and headed back the way he had come. "Funny... I found a Primrose in a greenhouse... Ironic, no?"

Kali smiled at his words and let a small chuckle escape her lips, placing her foot back down. "Yes." She whispered, barely audible, but loud enough for him to hear. "But it feels trapped." She watched him go and felt a small pang when the door shut behind him, but once he was gone, she collapsed into the water, breathing heavily for she was able to again. "Oh God.." She whispered to the fish at her feet as she stood once more and turned towards the waterfall. Kali raised her arms and dove off the end of the drop off, swimming under the pounding pressure of the water until she reached a little cave nestled behind it and pulled herself up. Dripping wet, Kalani lay, looking up at the roof of her little hideout. "This is going to be harder then I thought." And she didn't know whether she was talking about how hard it would be to stay mad at him or if she meant how hard it would be to forgive him.

Kalani pinched her eyes shut and open again. She had to forgive him. Though having to do something wasn't the same as being able to. Breathing slow and deep, she found peace again with the pounding rhythm of the waterfall that hid her cave, and stood, diving back into the water and out onto the damp earth. She slipped her shoes on and took one last look at the spot with the unused bench before she made her way back up the path and out of the greenhouse.

When the elevator doors slid open, she rung out her long black hair on the mansion carpet, making her way back towards her room. She was stopped by a girl, sobbing in the corner with her arms wrapped tightly around her knees. "Get him down!" The blonde woman shrieked, so Kali turned to find that she was staring at the hung man. This must be the girl that was arguing with him last night. That meant that the man was her love once... Kalani's eyes filled with sympathy and she stretched an arm out to the girl, pushing the door to her room open with her hip. "Come on." She said softly. "Come sit in my room for a minute and I'll call Mr. Kentsworth to cut him down." She said with a soft smile. As she said it, her eyes consciously scanned the hallway for Romegio.

Romegio Dante

Romegio was lost in thought in the parlor room when all of a sudden he heard someone shouting. He then stood up and opened the door, seeing no one he walked towards where the body was thinking that was where they were. Once he had reached there he saw that it was a girl, but he didn't know her to well. Judging by her reaction she must be that persons partner, he thought while looking at the corpse. I should probably ask her what happened last night, after she has time to take it in though. Don't want to come off heartless in this situation.

While watching the girl from afar Romegio noticed that Kalani had come down from the roof and was now comforting the girl. She said, "Come on... Come sit in mu room for a minute and I'll call Mr. Kentsworth to cut him down." He then noticed that she was looking around. Don't tell me you're looking for me now Kali, Romegio thought. Noticing though the state in which the other girl was in he decided that it would be better to help out.

Romegio walked towards the girls and motioned to Kalani that she should take the girl away. "We'll talk latter, just get her settled down for now. This must be a huge shock to her", he said while looking at the mysterious girl. "I'll get him down... I will need assistance with moving his body, but I wonder where we could put him seeing as we are now locked down in this mansion and all." Romegio noticed that it was not the place or time to be talking about such things, especially with the girl in front of him. "Sorry... didn't mean to offend... Take care of her Kali and try and get contact with any staff members, I think we'll need to talk to them."

After Kalani had taken the girl to her room Romegio began to take down the boy who was hanging from the ceiling. Moving a bookcase near the body he climbed it and stood on it to cut the boy down. After successfully cutting him down with his butterfly knife Romegio placed sheets under and on the boy's body. Romegio looked at the boy more closely, but he still couldn't quite place him in his memory, being unable to remember who he was. This was odd to him because he knew most of the other guests, even if not well they at least looked familiar. Romegio then searched the boy's pockets looking for any form of identification, but finding none. "I wonder who this guy is..."

Romegio then walked towards Kalani's room and waited outside for when the girls were to come out. He then started to think again. This mansion is crazy... Why would they give us no warning and wait until one of us died before introducing the rules. That's not fair game for any of the couples since any of us could've died before receiving this message. If the owner of this mansion is so much into control, which I believe, then they would've told us to give all the couples equal opportunity. This just doesn't make sense... But then again what does make sense now? I guess we will find out more about this person as more events unfold... Hopefully no more of us die before we can think of a way out of this hell.

Kalani Prim Rose

Kalani spotted Romeigo heading down the hallway towards her and the girl and nudged her door open further, glancing away from him quickly. She knew he could tell she was looking for him and being caught in the act made her flush a bit, but she was able to hide it by the time he reached her. Why is he always everywhere I go? It's impossible to get away from him. "We'll talk latter, just get her settled down for now. This must be a huge shock to her" she heard him say, and her caramel eyes found his. Did he think she was looking for him because she wanted to talk? Was she? Before she had the chance to think about it, he spoke again: "I'll get him down... I will need assistance with moving his body, but I wonder where we could put him seeing as we are now locked down in this mansion and all." Then he promptly apologized for saying it and turned away.

With a mixed sigh of relief and exhaustion, she bumped the door open with her hip once more and lead the girl inside, sitting her on her bed. The room was huge and elaborate complete with a mini fridge, four post bed, and balcony. Silently, she dabbed the girls tears away and gave her a sad smiled. "Don't cry. We'll get everyone out of here." She whispered and crossed the room, grabbing a soda from the mini fridge and tossing it across to the girl. "Have a drink. I'm going to call Mr. Kentsworth. He'll get the body."

Pulling her cell out of her pocket, she clicked it on to realize she had no service. "Of course." She hissed and grabbed the phone that had been installed into her room. When the butler had first showed her around, he told her that they sadly didn't have any phone service, but these phones in their rooms could be used to call around the mansion for room service, maids, or him. Kali ran a finger along the numbers and dialed in the one for Mr. Kentsworth's office. It rang three times, she got a busy signal, and then he promptly picked up.

"Sorry." He apologized. "I was in a phone call. Mothers." He said with a laugh and this made Kalani narrow her eyes. Didn't he know what was going on here? Why was he on the phone with his mother? And if the house had no reception how did she call him. "Anyway," his pompous voice cut into her thoughts. "May I ask who's calling?"

"Hi Mr. Kentsworth it's Kalani Rose. Room 18B. I just have a few questions." She heard footsteps outside her door now and figured it was Romegio coming back. Kali covered the phone. "COME IN!" She shouted before returning to her call. "First of all there's a dead body in the hall on floor eighteen... and I don't know if you've noticed but we've been locked in the mansion. Did you know about this? You seem like a genuine butler and I don't mean to make accusations, but if you knew about this then..." you've committed murder she thought, but didn't say it.

On the other side of the phone Mr. Kentsworth whispered something that sounded like "oh dear" and made a grunting noise before answering. "Well I knew a limited amount of information. The job paid well and our host told me what to say and what not to say. That's all I know. I'm really only here for the pay as is the rest of the staff and while I know more then they do I never thought there'd be death involved. I thought it was just a money scam... Yes... Well anyway as a good butler I'll come and get the body. Anything else you need Ms. Rose?"

"Yes. Who is our host?" Kali said, waiting out a long pause.

"I can't tell you. My own life depends on that and I'm sorry, but I'm not willing to die." And with that he hung up so Kali hung up as well and turned back to the girl from the hall.

"He's coming to get the body. I'm Kalani by the way. Kali or Kally. Whatever. You got a name?" She asked, noting that Romegio was now with them, but not acknowledging him just yet.

Noelle Borealeas

Noelle jumped when the sound of an earsplitting scream echoed through the halls from where she had been walking from. Seems that someone else found the body, too. She thought, turning around and walking back to where the scream had sounded from. She found three people, and tried to smile pleasantly, but only found herself looking incredibly down.
"Hi, are you guys okay?" She asked, "I guess I'm not the only one who ran into him." She sighed and looked up at the dead man's face, but quickly averted her eyes when the sight of his discolored, bloated face threatened dry heaves.

"My name's Noelle, it looks like you guys have everything under control, so I think I'm going to be in my room, if you need any-" Her sentence was cut short when she saw, out of the corner of her eye, Robert.

She closed her mouth, and nodded to them before walking off towards the room Robert had disappeared into. She stood outside of the door for a while, contemplating weather or not confronting him would be a good idea, probably not. She didn't want to be the first person to die. But still, Noelle found one hand resting on the wolf charm around her neck and the other hovering just inches away from the door. She chewed on the inside of her cheek, her mind racing to find good conversation starters, what she should say, anything, but her hands only dropped to her sides.

She heaved out a heavy, pained sigh and walked away, she'd talk to Robert later, but not now. Noelle's slippers padded along the hallways for a while until she reached the T.V. room. Credits scrolled along the screen and the room was dark with dim lighting. She flicked a strand of blue-black hair out of her eyes and continued, seating herself in a squishy red seat close to the door.

She felt more on edge than the normal, calm and collected Noelle, but the fact that they were in a mansion death trap didn't help much, either.

Sarah Ann

"Names Sarah." She managed to choke out as she wiped her eyes trying her best to calm down. She cracked open the soda and took a sip closing her eyes trying once more to slow her rapid breathing. "Thank you Kali." She wiped her eyes again and sat on the sofa watching the floor quietly as she called the butler. She glanced up at Kali as she asked who their host was and when the call ended she had to ask. "What did he say?" She stood up walking over to her and setting her hand on her hip as she took another sip of her soda.
Her facial expression was calm and collected as if she had never stumbled out of her room and into Xavier's body, as if she had never loved him, as if he was never even at the mansion. The only thing revealing that she was upset was the drying tears on her cheeks and the redness around her eyes. She

Romegio Dante

"COME IN!" Romegio heard Kalani shout from her room. Guess she knows I am out here, he thought. As Romegio walked in he noticed both Kalani and the girl who was now sitting down. He noticed that Kalani was talking on the mansion's phone talking to a staff member by the sounds of it. Kalani said into the phone, "First of all there's a dead body in the hall on floor eighteen... and I don't know if you've noticed but we've been locked in the mansion. Did you know about this? You seem like a genuine butler and I don't mean to make accusations, but if you knew about this then..." After a while of silence which Romegio could only assume was because Kalani was being addressed to by whomever she was talking to on the phone. She then said, "Yes. Who is our host?" That was a question Romegio also wanted answered, but he knew it wouldn't be that easy to find out who their oppressor was. Kalani then hung up the phone and said to the other girl, "He's coming to get the body. I'm Kalani by the way. Kali or Kally. Whatever. You got a name?"

The girl then replied to Kalani saying, "Names Sarah." She seemed to be trying to hold back tears, which wasn't unusually in such a situation. Not that I've been in many situations such as this, Romegio thought. She then said "Thank you Kali... What did he say?" Romegio noticed at this time that her demeanor was surprisingly calm as she said this. It's not uncommon for someone to be like that after someone close to them has died. It is very common to enter a state of shock, however I haven't met someone who was as calm as she was now, he thought. What am I thinking? I shouldn't try to analyze someone who is suffering from grief... But it's just that I have a weird feeling... Never mind, I'll dismiss these thoughts.

Romegio the leaned back on the door which he had entered into the room saying, "I too wish to know what the man had said, however I don't believe anything which he has said would be of much use either way." He then took out his butterfly knife and began to do fanning tricks with the knife. He noticed that both of the girls were watching him as he did this, especially Kalani since she didn't like it whenever he did play with his knives. "Don't look at me like that Kali... You know I need to use these when I'm nervous... Remember when we...", he began to trail off into memory, but stopped himself before he could say anymore.

Romegio continued to do tricks with his butterfly knife as he looked towards Sarah. "Anyway... there was one thing which I did want to know. It might be hard of me to ask you this but can you tell us what exactly happened between you and your partner. We need to better understand the situation we are in so that we can better prepare for what might happen... We know that confrontation leads to setting off traps, but what is the limit of this? ...I apologize if it sounds as if I am heartless, but I am not. I just want to keep the rest of our group safe from harm..." Romegio then started to pace as he was thinking, doing more tricks as he did. "When we can better understand what is happening, then we can try and get everyone to forgive each other... And if the opportunity arises...", Romegio stopped doing tricks with his butterfly knife and then he stabbed the wall with it. "...Punish whoever brought us here."

Sarah Ann

Sarah laughed in her head as she listened to Romegio ask about what had happened. His last line amused her inparticuarlly. "We got into a fight as simple as that. Before we got on the plane to come here I noticed some messages on his phone between him and some other girl. When I asked him about it he became defensive. Then i found out it was his ex he was sending the messages to. After i found out it was her we got into a huge fight about it so I told him I was leaving him. At that time I went to my room. I thought he would come back a few hours later, you know after we both had time to cool down." She choked on her words wiping away some of her tears and then continued. "He never came back and then when I woke up there he was." She began to cry again her hands shaking. "I feel so horrible. The last thing i said to him was id never trust him or love him again."

#, as written by conor
Robert sat on his bed, motionless and silent. He was trying to make sense of what he had just seen. "A dead body? Here?" He didn't know what to make of it or what to do next. Should he have helped the others, asked them what was going on? More importantly he thought, where the hell was Noelle? Was she behind this? Did she kill that person? Before his sister died the thought of Noelle killing someone sounded like the most hilarious thing he could possibly hear, but since the day his sister died he'd talked himself into believing that maybe she is just a stone cold killer. After all, its always who you least expect isn't it? The "innocent" one, the one everyone thought would never harm a fly.

Eventually Robert stood up. He walked over to his guitar, left next to the bags of clothes he had brought with him. He wanted to bring his violin to keep him happy but he was not allowed. It was to expensive to bring anywhere other than the stage. So he had to make do with his guitar. Lazily plucking a few strings he let his mind drift. Captivated by the wondrous and majestic view of the vast expansive ocean he forget all of his troubles for a few moments. When he snapped back he decided he needed to get out of here. He needed to pack his bags and just leave. The contents of the letter and the rules of "the game" still unknown to him as he stuffed clothes into his bag.

Kalani Prim Rose

Kali watched with narrowed eyes as Romegio twirled his knife. She had always hated when he did that and now that she had a reason to believe he was violent, she hated it even more. She was about to open her mouth and tell him to stop when she realized that the girl was talking. Her name was Sarah. Nice name. Kalani listened as she told them her story and sighed, watching as Romegio stabbed a hole in her wall and Sarah stared crying again. "Thanks Romegio. Stab a couple more holes in my wall while you're at it. Also, why don't you make someone else cry too." She snapped agrily, moving to the girls side and sitting beside her.

Kali placed a hand on the girls back and rubbed gently. "Please don't cry." She whispered, tucking her own black hair away from her native American face. "We'll find out who did this, but in the meantime I don't think he'd want you to cry over him. He'd want you to find a way off this island and be safe again." She sighed softly, pulling her legs up onto the bed and tucking them under her criss-crossed.

"Oh." She said, remembering the phone call. "And Mr. Kentsworth wasn't too helpful. He was genuinely surprised when I told him about the boy, so he didn't know about the whole plot, but he does know more then he's telling me. Though he said he can't reveal it to us or his life is in danger. Seeing as I don't like having my OWN life in someone else's hands, I'm not going to press further." Kali said with an exasperated sigh and dropped her head into her hands.

How is this going to work? She thought to herself. I can't even keep myself from snapping at him for flipping his stupid knife. What happens when Sarah's not here and we really go at it?

[Sorry this is soooo short]

Romegio Dante

Romegio stood silently as he listened to Sarah describe what had happened the other night. She said, "We got into a fight as simple as that. I thought he would come back a few hours later, you know after we both had time to cool down..." She then began to choke on her words as tears started to develop in her eyes. "...He never came back and then when I woke up there he was... I feel so horrible. The last thing I said to him was I'd never trust him or love him again."

Sarah, now crying, was being comforted by Kalani. Kalani then turned to Romegio and said, "Thanks Romegio. Stab a couple more holes in my wall while you're at it. Also, why don't you make someone else cry too." He could tell that she was angry at him, but he knew it was to be expected. Kalani never did like it when he was playing with his knives but to Romegio it is habitual, just like someone spinning a pencil in their fingers when thinking. She also disliked seeing people cry, a trait that Romegio and her both shared. Even though he hated it when people cried he knew that in this situation it would be unavoidable. Maybe I shouldn't have stabbed the wall, he thought.Kalani then comforted Sarah by saying, "Please don't cry... We'll find out who did this, but in the meantime I don't think he'd want you to cry over him. He'd want you to find a way off this island and be safe again."

Kalani then began to say, "Oh... And Mr. Kentsworth wasn't too helpful. He was genuinely surprised when I told him about the boy, so he didn't know about the whole plot, but he does know more then he's telling me. Though he said he can't reveal it to us or his life is in danger. Seeing as I don't like having my OWN life in someone else's hands, I'm not going to press further." Romegio thought on what Kalani had said. If it is true that the staff are in danger and unable to assist us it would be idiocy to attempt anything further... However if time passes long enough where their lives are at as much danger as ours, as I would believe they would be sharing the same food supplies with us, we could all starve to death... When that time arises I believe that the staff would become more then helpful... At least I hope.

Romegio then looked towards Kalani and said, "Well... If you insist." He then took out the knife from the wall and stood on one side of the room behind the girls. He then took out his second butterfly knife and began to do tricks with both in each hand. "This is a game of survival... We never know what might happen and what we may need to do... I just brought my knives here because they are of sentimental value to me... I dislike not having them with me for extended periods of time... Since they were passed down to me from my Grandfather." Romegio then threw the knives to the opposite end of the room as they impaled the wall. "You know... I always did like prime numbers... now you have a prime number of stabs on your wall." He smiled as he said his last comment jokingly, trying to push Kalani's buttons just ever so slightly.

Romegio then walked towards the knives in the wall and took one of them out. "... I'm sorry for your loss and for making you tell us your story... I'll go around and see if anyone else has found out, or needs to be told of our situation." He then began to exit the room but then he turned around to Kalani and said, "That second butterfly knife... Keep that on you at all times okay Kali. Remember though I will be wanting it back, no losing it now like you lost my Letterman jacket... Oh and after seeing me use it all those times you should know how to use it, even if just the basics. Remember to hold on to the safe handle, it's the one with the pin latch on it." He then turned around to finally leave but then said as he left, "... I'm not the only one between us who needs to worry about making someone cry you know..."

Trinity Turlington

Well then... Trinity thought and then began to walk down the halls once more. Her blue eyes scanned the corridors as she looked in a few rooms. The old wood creaked in certain areas beneath her feet. She sighed and headed back to the entertainment room she was in before and flopped back on the couch again, her head swimming with thoughts and questions that she didn't even know if they would be answered. Her hand rested on the silver necklace around her neck before she let her eyes flutter to a close and drift off to an uneasy sleep...

Kalani Prim Rose

Kalani comforted Sarah, practically able to feel the wheels in Romegio's head turning a few feet away. Or maybe it was just tension. Who knew? "Well... If you insist." She heard and lifted her head, caramel eyes finding him as he ripped the knife from the wall and took out yet another knife, flipping them in his hands. This made her teeth grind together and her eyes narrow on his angrily. He was doing it to bait her, she knew that, but she couldn't help falling for the bait. "This is a game of survival... We never know what might happen and what we may need to do... I just brought my knives here because they are of sentimental value to me... I dislike not having them with me for extended periods of time... Since they were passed down to me from my Grandfather."

"Well excuse me." She hissed acidly. "For being uncomfortable around you and weapons." She knew he knew what she was referring to and raised one trim eyebrow at him as he threw them into the wall across the room and said some smartass comment about prime numbers. It took all she had not to jump up and scream at him, but was cut off when he crossed the room, pulled them out, and told her and Sarah that he was going to talk to the other guests.

"That second butterfly knife... Keep that on you at all times okay Kali. Remember though I will be wanting it back, no losing it now like you lost my Letterman jacket... Oh and after seeing me use it all those times you should know how to use it, even if just the basics. Remember to hold on to the safe handle, it's the one with the pin latch on it." After hearing this, Kalani purposely crossed her arms and smirked, leaving the knife where it was, though when he left... Slowly Kali stood and yanked the knife from the wall, holding it in her hand. To be honest, she'd never lost his jacket. It was in her unpacked suitcase. She just hadn't wanted to part with it after they'd broken up for it was the only thing besides pictures she still had left. And now he was giving her one of his most treasured items because he wanted her to be safe? Why did he have to be so infuriating and easy to be mad at, then turn around and do something that made her hands shake? Couldn't he just be annoying? She turned to look at Sarah.

"Did you ever think you'd forgive him again. Until he was dead I mean?" She asked, eyebrows knit with confusion.

Looks like mirror took out Noelle without telling me... Hmm. Well Synicate's partner is pretty much a no-show so if you guys want to partner up that'd be fine. Just pick one of your two stories between you two. You wont have to re-make your character sheets or anything.
