Keeley's Story

Bella got out of the bright blue Impala. Her social worker was right behind her. She looked like the country girl that she was deep inside. Wearing a t-shirt, jean shorts, and brown and blue cowgirl boots, she bravely faced her new home. "Hello everyone. I'm Tammy and this is Bella." Bella looked at her new home, then back down to her slightly pudgy stomach. Things were going to be very interesting when she started showing. She knew she was pregnant. She had missed her period 3 and a half weeks ago. She had morning sickness and the growing pains. No one could know she was pregnant. No one wants a pregnant teen. She looked back to her new family. "Hello yall." She stood proudly.

Keeley rolled her eyes "Not another one" she thought she looked over at her mom, once again she had taken a girl her age and asked her to be nice and make friends. The last one that her mother and father had taken in got so jealous of Keeley she went psycho and tried to stab Keeley.

"Hello yall"

"Oh God shes some stupid redneck great that's just what we need. Deliver me from Paula Dean" she thought, she was just glad that her mother never made her share her room. Keeley shook her head and and turned to go back inside the house to try to avoid the whole happy family introduction, she hated this they weren't this happy family her parents tried to make them out to be. All the younger ones ran around like heathens and the older ones were a pain in the ass in their own way the only one Keeley could tolerate was Christopher or Topher as she liked to call him. He was the only one she could sit down and have an intelligent conversation with. She sat down in the living room and texted her friend from school about how bored she was.

Bella smiled and started eating too. She liked the little boy. The mother was nice too, but the other kids her age seemed to hate her. It would take some getting used to. Her stomach started to bubble, and she felt sick. She didn't wanna raise suspicions, so she continued to eat, but slower.

Keeley sighed the smell of pancakes was getting to her she could feel her stomach rumble from hunger.

"Well look at it in a positive light. You guys look about the same age, maybe she can be your new bff" said Christopher when he sat down on the couch next to her.

"Yeah that sounds just peachy Topher, but I don't think so. remember the last girl we had that was my age she turned out to be a psycho killer and tried to stab me. Not a really good record in my book, and that was just the worst. The other's have all tried to fight me more were so busy doing drugs or getting laid to worry about being friends with me", she said still texting.

Christopher chuckled "I will be right back" and he went off and proceeded to serve himself some pancakes.

Keeley looked up to see the new girl, Jonah, and Topher all eating. Jonah was a talkative kid that liked to play guitar and make up his own songs. Like allot of the younger ones Jonah got on Keeley's nerves. All the little one's thought she hated them but the truth was that she didn't exactly hate them. She just felt she had better things to do the listen to them go on and on about something that Keeley didn't care about.

Giving up on trying to stay away from the breakfast table she decided to get breakfast into herself, she sat down next to Topher and served herself still trying to ignore the new girl.

Christopher watched as Keeley entered the kitchen, she said nothing to anyone as she served herself and took a seat next to him. He looked from the new girl to Keeley then back at the girl. He understood why Keeley wasn't so up from making friends I mean if the last foster kid tried to stab him in a psycho rage he wouldn't be so up for friendship either. Aside from the psycho Keeley was also fight about the other teens who came into the house, none of them ever made it because they were to be doing their own thing. The girl before the psycho was a raging slut who in her short time there had made her way through the soccer and baseball team at his school and she had even attempted to seduce him. And the guy before the slut was a stoner and the guy before him an emo cutter. It could be said that this house had had its full share of weirdos and freaks, but as far as Christopher could tell this new girl didn't seem to have any physiologic deformities. "So Bella, have you ever ... tried to stab anyone? Did any kind of drugs? Skin a cat? Anything like that?" Christopher asked joking mostly but he really was trying to get a feel for the girl, just in case she was a nut job like the others.
