Zane has blue hazel eyes and blondeish brown hair. His hair is a little long and some times, when not brushed, falls over his eyes. He's not very tall, standing a mere five feet four inches tall, and weighs maybe one hundred fifteen pounds. His teeth are pearly white, especially his fangs. His has lightly tanned skin.History: Zane doesn’t know much about his biological family, having been placed in foster care. He was dropped off to the Williams, the Calcorn's neighbors, when he was 3. That was were Darren learned of Zane's abilities. He only lasted about two months at the Williams, before being sent to a different place. Mr. and Mrs. Calcorn heard that the foster family that had Zane was sending him away and submitted adoption papers for Zane when he was 5. They made him part of their family, even knowing what he was, they didn’t look at him as being different, but as the same. He grew up with the Calcorn family, knowing he was adopted, but never felt the need to know his “birth givers”, as he calls them. The Calcorn family is his family. When Zane went through the worse stages, and having done really bad things, his fangs growing in, and he had to learn to deal with the urge to drink blood, the Calcorns stuck by him. No one knows that Zane has actually killed people, trying to satify his urge for blood. He has kept that a secret ever since it happened. The police reports claimed it was a wild animal, but Zane knew different, and it still haunts him. He had only made one friend, Alex Gaia, or Lexi as he calls her. They became good friends, and he entrusted her with his little secret about being a vampire. Lexi is the only person outside the family that was trusted with such a secret. Everything became better as the family grew, and he was able to have fun. Zane had always gotten into trouble when he was caught sneaking in, or out of the house, or out of graveyards. Every now and then, Zane looses control of the urge for blood, and attacks some stranger and ends up killing them.
Personality: Zane can be a nice and sweet when he wants to be. He loves to have fun and do things that are a wee bit crazy. He is also a big prankster, especially to the young kids in the family. Zane can also be described as trustworthy and outgoing. He will stand up for his family, and often get in fights protecting them. He believes he’s the only one that can mess with his family and no others. Zane also keeps his problems with himself, and not tell anyone out of fear of being kicked out.
Equipment: Zane wears a pendant around his neck, that he’s not sure where he got it. When he asked about it, he was told he had it before Mr. and Mrs. Calcorn adopted him. He has his strength, speed and fangs to help him. He is often found wearing a black leather jacket.
