Looking up at Gregory and hearing what he said.. Man, she could've hugged him right then and there.
"Got it." She stood straight and gave him a little two-fingered salute, grinning before slowly something dawned in her mind. Her jacket. Still in the fireplace behind the logs, thrown with some care but not too much thought. It was her mother's and Yoru- if not known for her mischievous and strange eyes- was known for the iron grip she had on keeping and maintaining family history. Even though it would clearly be suicidal.. She was going to go back. There were experimental notes in the pockets, small trinkets, and memories entwined in the very fibers and patches.
Night time she was leaving, going to the castle and retrieving her things. The man and everyone else in the palace would be asleep and a fire wouldn't be going so it would be the perfect timing. Greg would chew her out if he found out so she'd have to do it quietly and secretly; Change night to late night. That's what went through her mind but didn't show on her face. Her fellow white-haired rebel knew her well and when she got some looks, he'd catch on quickly and pounce on the expressions.
Speaking of going back to the palace, hopefully the stranger would be asleep and forgot about her. He probably did- with the attitude of his, he'd probably become solely focused on the next piece of nice ass he saw and forget their meeting.
Hopefully.
So instead, she just smiled at him again and ruffled his hair- getting some soot in the white locks. "Thanks Greg. I owe you... 10. Ten times you've helped me so I owe you ten. My logic makes sense so don't bother correctin' me." Yoru snickered and gave him one last ruffle of the hair and a quick hug- out of happiness that he'd helped her out and to get him even more soot covered- before going off to a bathroom.
Sure she was a tomboy and was always happy to get down and dirty but hell, even she liked baths- especially when they were needed.
