Male

Appearance
Malachi has very exotic features due to his mixed race, and mythical ancestors. Built like a historical conqueror, it is clear that not much can stand in this mans way. He has short copper colored hair with long sideburns that trails into his thick beard, making him appear older than twenty-three. His piercing hazel eyes are tinted with streaks of gold, green and blue. He has naturally light tan skin, with faint freckles that form over and around his nose. Its no doubt he is strikingly handsome, with a pearly white smile that can brighten the darkest rooms.
Height: 6'11"

Skin Color: Tan
Hair Color: Copper

Academic
Top 10% of the Senior class. Quiet during normal periods, but very respected and popular when the bells ring.

Elective
Varsity Boxing & Sparring Team/ Choir

Extra-Curricular
Student Teacher for Philosophy, allowing him access to restricted parts of Onihaven.

Element
Earth

Powers
Earth/Nature Magic: being fixed to Earth he is able to control and manipulate anything of mineral and soil/sand/rock. He is no novice at his element, he has learned to speak to crystals as well as tapping into any properties they may have, metaphysical or toughness-wise.
Sensory/Clairsentient: He is highly sensitive to his surrounding to a point he can sense individuals around him, sometimes people can shadow themselves from him.

Nephilim: Having Angel ancestors has its perks and flaws. He is gains superhuman strength and speed, he is able to communicate with his angel ancestors through a telepathic link. His blood can be a healing agent to humans and most races, too much of it can send someone on a euphoric trance. Though he is prone to certain magics and barriers that normal humans could pass through with ease, called Angel traps and darker Enochian Magic. Outside of this, he has high endurance, allowing him to take a lot of damage, some that could be potentially fatal to others.
Ether Control: Allows him to control and manipulate the pure white, angelic, spirit energy within him and project it out. With this he can create bound-weapons, project force fields, and preform various Enochian magic.

Enochian Magic: An ancient magic taught to him by his mother to counteract certain magic that could potentially weaken and kill him. Mainly composed of drawing symbols(called sigils) with ether and calling on Angels to assist or to give him augmentations to help him with certain tasks.

Strengths
Control over his body. Fighting, he is able to fight just as well as he can cast spells. His ability to endure pain and take damage.

Weaknesses
Acrophobia, The fear of Heights. A bottomless pit of a stomach, his gluttony (which can be used against him). He is ticklish only on his neck. His thick Celtic accent may make it difficult sometimes to understand him.

Bio
Ever since Malachi was young he has trained to be strong, and strong willed. Being a man of color, his father made sure he grew up not taking no for an answer and as stubborn as an Ox, beating it into him with some sparring if he couldn't learn his lesson. His mother was always nurturing, teaching him her magics and telling him stories of Angels and the wars they've won against the darkness. This made Malachi fond of warriors, and always wanted to be one.

During his earlier years of school he was always made fun of because of his giant husky size, no one ever tried to bully him though---for the fear he would toss them into a trash-can. Magic didn't always come easy to him, learning took a lot of practice and dedication while he was at home. His parents didn't have a lot of money; with his father being an immigrant from Haiti and his mother inheriting only a Cottage with acres of land, most of their money came from magic, growing crops, and "good lotto guessing".

When Malachi became a man, the lessons throughout his life made him wise and strong; and not to be easily taken for granted. Outside his family and random encounters with demon-casters whom he had to destroy, he hasn't really met any other Casters. Malachi is really just a big teddy-bear that has a soft-spot for those in his life, though don't give him a reason to turn on you, he is a force to reckon with.

So begins...

Malachi boarded the train that would be his only mode of transportation to and from Onihaven University to Mythland City. He showed the elderly conductor the contents of his student pass,"Come on aboard sir, watch out for the little ones; wouldn't want to send them home mushed!" Mythland is a peninsula completely devoted to educating the youth throughout the region; from elementary to university campuses. This was the best of the best. The young man towered over everyone as he walked down the middle walkway of the train, ignoring the comments and chit-chat of the other students; listening to the clacking of his fitted, black dress shoes, only to find a singular vacant seat towards the back of the train. Most of his belongings were already in his dorm building; although he has yet to meet his dorm-mates, the faculty gave him the files of his peers. A burning feeling coaled in his chest that this year was going to be one to remember.

Malachi wore a plain white, short-sleeved button-down dress shirt that appeared as though if he made the wrong move it would bust down the seams, with the first four buttons of the shirt undone showing his bare, hair fuzzed chest; a pair of weathered black slacks which could comfortably slide on and off if it wasn't for the restriction of the leather belt that strapped them around his burly waist. An expensive name-brand watch strapped against his left wrist gleamed in the light as he unzipped a lengthy bag between his feet. He pulled out a pair of ear-phones with a recorder from the black gymbag he carried on board with him.

Enochian Prayers and Evocations Tracks One through Twelve. He mouthed along with the magic text, eyes closed, as though he was doing it on behalf of a distant memory. For an hour or so he did this, while many by many students exited the train to be dropped off at their designated campuses, until a sensory reaction broke his concentration. Before his mind could process his body's action, his hand had caught a paper ball that flew towards his face from the direction of a few elementary students that tried to hide from him behind a train booth. He took out one of his earphones,"Hey did you boyos' try to tag me with this?" He projected towards them."Oh man," One of them said under their breath,"I thought you said he was sleep!"

"Musegate Academy! Stop seven!" The conductor's voice traveled through the entire train due to the microphone in hand. The group of boys responsible for the paper-ball incident immediately exited passing by Malachi at an intimidated rate, not making eye contact with the gentle giant. Malachi snickered, scratching his beard, he glanced at the paper-ball only to toss it into his gymbag. No need for littering.

---

"Onihaven University! Stop eleven!"

Arriving to his campus felt so nostalgic. Malachi took in a deep breath, letting a grin cross his face as he griped his gymbag tighter. "Another year, another lesson." He chuckled to himself. It was roughly 45 degrees outside, while many people where bundled in layer of clothing, Malachi enjoyed the cool breeze, always been warm blooded. Moments like this made him stick out. Moments when he didn't realize his Nephilim traits weren't familiar to the ignorant humans or the novice practitioners of the arts whom he only ran into very seldom. Before he could take his first step, a Freshman only wearing underwear and strange face-paint ran into Malachi full force, bouncing off our giant scholar followed by a strange eye contact."Um--" The freshman begun to studded, glaring up at Malachi, shivering.

"New pledge?" Malachi asked, awkwardly. The boy simply nodded. Malachi snickered,"Figures. Crack on, lad. The fraternities wait for no man." The boy ran off full speed, in nothing but his underwear. Malachi couldn't help but to watch him as he ran off."Those undergarments," Malachi whispered to himself, his face let of a jolly red blush,"are so short." He shook his head to get rid of any fantasies that would have ran through his mind."Haven't been here longer that thrice the count and already the ole culchie gets a peep of fun. Oh boy, Onihaven, what do you have in store for me this year?"

Malachi skipped the first day free bakery and elective fair, since he experienced it year and year before; he thought it best to make it to the Dorm-building and tighty up before his dorm-mates arrived. The dormitory was further behind the school, by the biology laboratory, close to the green house and the tall fence that separated the campus from the forest; though it was a distance to walk, it was respected as one of the more beneficial dorms, especially for trouble-makers and party-goers.

Building 15. At last. He searched through his gymbag to find the keys to the building: boxing gloves, no; chalk powder, no; box of condoms, no; ah! Finally, the keys!

He entered, surprised everything was as he remembered when he brought his stuff a week ago. The layout was amazing. Dining room to the immediate right upon entering the dormitory. Spacious easily could seat seven people, the dining room led to the kitchen lavished with stainless steel appliances, the door passed the kitchen led to the exit, or the secondary entrance. He walked forward passing the dining room, if he continued down the corridor instead of walking up the stairs, it would lead him to the game-room, and a locked door which led to the unseen basement. Upstairs was the living quarters, already decorated with love-seats, couches, and sofas and a fireplace off to the back wall. Someone brought a TV! He could tell he was going to enjoy his roommates already. He walked to the right of the living room and immediately to his next right was the room he picked. He dropped his gymbag in the room, and took off his shirt revealing a short cut, black tank top. He let out a satisfied sigh as he begun to do some light stretches.

"What was that?" Something triggered his sensory abilities, but it was faint. It came from downstairs. Malachi took his time. Trying to be as silent as a 6'11" muscular man could. There was still that eerie ringing in his ear that he got every time his senses went off. Something was still lurking. He couldn't pick up on its aura. Was it human? A beast? Sometimes the smallest bug could even trigger him! No. this was different.

Thud

The basement? Malachi approached the red door that was underneath the stairway. It was bolted shut, with many different locks. Every time he asked one of the faculty about the door they never gave him a clear answer, and it was always a different story.Don't worry is what it always came down too. This was the first time he'd ever sense something from this strange door, now that it has his attention, it sent shivers down his spine."What are you?"

There was darkness, and there was light. Four points of light at the corner of his vision. Slowly they branched out further and further searing into his vision. With a burst of light Cress was in a room, a large red door, covered in locks . It was oozing something, a darkness, a feeling of pure nastiness. Cress backed away from it with caution backing into a figure. Encased in shadow he only knew he was large and imposing. Before Cress could say even a word the door burst open.

Cress awoke with a start, a cold sweat beading down his face, and his breathing was deep and heavy. He placed a hand on his head, and ran it through his hair trying to steady himself. After just a minuet or two he was calm, and his breathing had steadied. He took a moment to study his surroundings, surprised to see that he had managed to fall asleep on the train at all. He cast a glance to a group of particularly loud young boys and their particularly oblivious mothers. As Cress wiped the last of the sweat from his brow he almost wished the boys could have been louder and the mothers less attentive than they already were. It has been awhile since he had received a vision of that caliber, so foreboding and nasty. At least half the time they were stupid annoying little things, informing him of the weather for that day or telling him which side of the street to walk on so that he can bump into a ridiculously good looking guy. About the other half of the time they never came true at all. AS the train came to his stop he wiped the frown off his face, replaced it with a smile, grabbed his things, and resolved not to think of the vision. If it came to pass he could deal with it when the time came. No point in worrying about a vision that may not even come to pass.

As he stepped off the train winter practically smacked him right in the face. For most people the constant snow and cold would probably irritate and inconvenience them, but it only illicited a smile from Cress. He stood there for a moment in awe of what lay before him. Onihaven University was large and vast, looking particularly inviting on this fine winter day. He walked forward into the cold ignoring the others milling about but taking the time to smile at the particularly cute men he passed, even giving a smile to those few who looked at Cress strangely. Of course he looked strange walking into the snow with little more than a short sleeved shirt and a rather thin looking pair of jeans. but he didn't care much. It felt normal to him.

He wandered around the campus for what seemed like hours looking for his dorm, getting lost at least once and ending up at the complete opposite end of the campus. Finally after finding the good sense to ask for directions he found his building, It was large and seemed inviting. HE walked in wondering if he was the first one here as he had hoped to get here early. Once inside he took the time to explore, and was rather pleased with the amount of space. Even if he would be sharing it with three others. Not seeing anyone else he soon made his way upstairs to inspect the rooms, throwing his belongings into the first empty one he saw. He noted with curiosity, that one of the rooms already seemed to have someones things. Apparently there was someone else here, and of course there was only one place he had yet to check.

Cress made his way down into the basement "Hello?" he called as he walked down the stairs. He stopped in his tracks when he saw a rather large, heavily built man staring at a door. The door from his dream. His mouth opened wide slightly he looked at the man who he assumed to be one of his roommates. He looked the man over, up and down for a minute trying to be sure it was the man from his vision. He couldn't see his face in the dream but the height was roughly the same. He looked at the man with a smile."This might sound weird but I think I dreamed you? I'm Cress by the way."

Cold was something Rajnish was never gonna get used to. It was the kind of cold that he thought was only reserved for refrigerators and calming cells, not the normal climate of winter here. Rajnish rested his head on the window of the train, trying to get some sort of sleep during the ride. However, it was far too warm in the train to do so. He needed some coolness all around him to sleep and his head on the window was not cutting it. An Ifrit, or a half-breed, still needed some sleep and not having done so in the past two and a half days wasn't healthy as is mother would say.

It was his second year here at Omnihaven, but returning in the winter was still something he had not gotten used to. Bounding off the bus and having the winter air smack him harder in the face than an angry magpie was a jolt to say the least. The snow around his feet melted quickly as his own body temperature tried to compensate for the cold. As much as he liked omnihaven and the people in it, he really wished that he could adapt to this cold. Wandering the campus felt like an eternity, but chatting with some guys from classes he had from the year before was a treat. Some were happy to see him as he spent the summer back home in the mines, while others weren't so happy to see him. An explosion in the science labs would do that to one's reputation with people who didn't like a flare of emotion.

The dorms were a maze for the groggy half-breed, looking back at the number for the room on his paper and the doors. He grumbled to himself, though grateful for the warmth of the building but not at the loss of his own placings. A few chatters here and there and nearing the end of his rope as he descended to the basement level. It was actually comforting descending underground. Like the opal mines that were dug deep below the community and the source of most of their wears. He tilted his head to the side as he approached the door to the basement or rather the back of the very large man in front of the door. The kind of large that he only some ifrit teenagers got. His jaw dropped a tad, he'd never seen humans this tall before. "Oh. You's a tall poppy mate." he thought out loud as he looked up at the person at the door. "Ehhhh..g'day. Seems that I'm roomed with yeh.' he shifted his belongings on his back as he tried to look past the large man to take a peek at the other. "Seems to be mo' of us in the chamba'. Name's Rajnish 'ere."
