Flight. Despite the name of her Soul power, it is in reference to animals that fly. Ang Meng can take control of birds and see through their eyes. She can take control of multiple at once amassing a large army of flight power if she needs to. Ang Meng can direct them attack her prey, or she can use them as a means for scouting.
A pair of long daggers, and a set of throwing knives.
Ang Meng can be disoriented by assaulting her senses with intense, heavily concentrated smells. Strong perfumes and such give her pounding headaches along with difficulty in breathing and thus she stays away from such things. If she were to be bombarded by a concentration of scents (perfumes and the like), she could be rendered immobile, giving the advantage to her opponent.
When in a fight, close quarters combat is her forte, however due to the length of her blades, she has to get really close. Throwing daggers will only get her so far. Up against crossbows and the like put her at a huge disadvantage. In addition, fighting multiple people who use long swords can be disastrous for her if they work well enough together to take her down.
Ang Meng has a no-nonsense type of attitude. Duty first always which is that of serving and protecting her Prince; of which she takes very seriously. When chided by her Prince for 'doing too much all the time' she simply stares, or occasionally returns the comment on his behaviors. She doesn't smile often, laughing even less so - however it can be coaxed from her with the right type of humor (and perhaps a bit of alcohol, if one can get her to drink that is.) She does not tolerate any kind of laziness and expects those that she works with to put in the same level of work and dedication that she does. She will lay down her life for her Prince as well as the others who serve him.
Ang Meng likes spicy food (the hotter the better) and if she does drink, she can drink quite a lot while still able to handle herself in a fight. She likes darker ales that are not too sweet. Though it might not look it, she truly enjoys the company of her companions and her Prince. She dislikes sweets and won't even eat fruit if it's too sweet to taste; preferring meat instead. Don't try to get her to eat a vegetable either.
Ang Meng is from the city Ocedo. It's dark streets reflect the hardiness of its people. Life in Ocedo is not easy for many and Ang Meng is no exception. She is not from a prestigious family - not that she knows of anyway being that she's an orphan. However, she was taken in by such a family at the age of 14 when she stole from them in an attempt to get food and keep living. The Mother and Father had just lost a daughter of their own to sickness. Feeling for the young Ang Meng, they took her in. It was not an easy time, trying to adjust to the kindness shown to her. However, with steady work and patience, they gained her trust.
Ang Meng's Father taught her the sword soon after. Helped her to meditate her fears and anger away - at the very least, get it under control - and to strengthen her Soul. When she turned 16 she was brought to the Capital where she met the young Crown Prince. There, along with a handful of others, she was offered the opportunity to serve her country and her Prince. Ang Meng has never looked back since and she owes her life and service not only to the Prince but also to the Mother and Father who gave her life.
