Just about two decades ago, a phenomenon has arisen: People who can detach and reconnect their limbs and heads at will, no matter if it happens magically, mechanically or per mutation. Even with a severed head or arm, all parts can still move. Normal people at first called them freaks but now the term "doll" is more common. Normal people often avoid them and they are discriminated against from time to time. At Katagara high school, dolls aren't common but a few of them attend the school. Those who are there want to open a club for both normals and dolls called the Doll Awareness club to fight against ongoing discrimination and avoidance. Initially only the dolls and one human attend.

Katagara high school: A rather small high school with about 700 students classes 9th (4) to 12th (1). Classes are for example 1A, 1B, 1C etc. 4 being the youngest and 1 the oldest. The school has a large gym, three floors and many classrooms. On the ground level there is a small cafeteria and kiosk. The school has a large courtyard and a school garden at the back of the school. Races: Playable races are humans, nekos, kitsunes and inus both as normals and as dolls.
