Role: The Misguide

Gender: Male
Nickname(s)/Alias(es): The Bloody Song, the Dead Harmony, Mother Nature's tear, the God's Judgment
Age: 19
Love Interest: TBA

Image
Appearance:
In order not to be mistaken for his twin brother, Wei lets his hair grow long and tie it into a loose ponytail, giving him a slight feminine look...even though he always claims that it will make him look more 'manly', but... well...no one really believes him. He's a pale young man with a build that suits for dodging, speed and quick attacks - lean but not overly muscular. He's light on his feet and ready to strike when the danger arises. His skin is perfectly smooth and soft, an advantage when it comes to have a brother who can heal any kinds of injuries you may have. Wei has a very special pair of eyes - light brown - yellow. Their color can change whenever the light reflect them on different angles but the most commonly seen color is light brown. His lips always curl into a dark smirk whenever he's near his 'clients' and into a sad frown when he's alone or with his brother. His voice is very soft and quiet, but it carries with it a sense of calmness and maturity. When he talks, it almost always comes out as a whisper instead of a sentence. He has a very beautiful laugh though we can use our hands to count how many times he has actually laughed out loud instead of chuckling darkly or smirking deviously...

Preferred Clothing:
Unlike his brother, whose favorite clothes are the Shun's traditional red clothes, Wei prefers wearing military clothes with light colors. His usual clothes consist of a deep green Chinese military uniform with a red armband that has a yellow star on it (though it was colored tan in one colorspread). He usually wears this outfit whenever he has to go on an assassinate mission. His reasons are that the blood will be washed away more easily, the clothes are comfortable and don't restrict his movements and he can blend in with the nature at ease while he's wearing it. Normally, when he doesn't have a mission or when he's selling information to his 'clients', he also wears the Shun's traditional clothes like his brother, though he is no where near as strict about his code of dressing like his brother. The Changshan he often wears has very light colors such as white, light yellow, light green, pale gray...etc. He carries with him a flute whenever he goes because he strongly believes that music can be played anywhere and anytime as long as a person has the urge to do so. Therefore, you shouldn't be very surprised when you hear him plays with his flute at 12 in the evening...

Height: 5' 75"
Weight: 142lbs
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Light Brown - Nearly yellow

Personality:
Wei is a very, very gentle and kind person. He hates hurting people and often prefers solving a problem by negotiation first. He's very shy toward strangers but quickly warms up as time goes on. He's sensitive and very clingy to his brother despite the fact that he's the older one. However, even with his different personality, Wei is often mistaken for his brother and has found himself in trouble for incidents that Feng has caused. When he is not being mistaken for his brother, all the other people tend to forget that he exists due to the fact that he always hides behind his brother. He is also passive aggressive and never seems to take his revenge in a direct way. He disapproves of his brother's 'dirty mouth' and often scolds his brother for his 'inappropriate language' but deep down, he's secretly happy that his brother is protecting him whenever someone tries to threaten him. He hates it when people mistake him for his brother and they are the only times that Wei acts aggressive.

He's very shy and timid, hates meeting new people and moving to new places but he hides it very well. He has created a mask of a very manipulative young man and evil with his trademark smirk and his yellow eyes. He hates human contacts and despises being touched by any others except his brother but never shows it. He portrays himself as some sorts of 'mad scientists' type of person and creates a false illusion of who he really is. He doesn't have any closed friends and he has no one but his brother to depend on and therefore, he's very clingy and possessive of his brother - a fact that both annoys and amuses Feng to no end because Wei often goes to ridiculous length to prove that Feng belongs to him and only him. Oh, please don't mistake it, Wei does have many 'friends' due to his gentle nature but he doesn't think any of them as his true 'friends' and therefore, the only person that he can trust is his brother.

When he is alone with his brother, his gentleness and shyness disappear. They are replaced by a sadder personality that he seems to have at that time seems to belong to someone twice his age if not even more. Surrounding him is a very sad calmness and maturity that not many teenagers can possess. He's obsessive about the nature to the point that it turns into a sicked, twisted sense of rightness and wrongness. He believes himself and his brother are the only pure being in the entire world and that the humans are deserved to die all. He wants to kill all the humans and restore the balance of the world, which he thinks that has been destroyed by human beings. He likes to think himself as the 'God's judgment' or the 'Nature's tear'. His ways of thinking could have been very good if he's not actually that sicked or twisted. Instead of helping the people, he believes killing them all with be the most efficient way to 'end the world's suffering'. He also has a kind of animals which he adores and that is the stocks. One reason is that he thinks they resemble the innocence of the world. Another reason is that he loves being able to be as free as they are. He is often seen feeding them or giving them a bath.

Oddities:
When he's alone with his brother, he becomes more...sensitive and often bursts into tears at the scene of some forest being cut down or some animals dying. His brother often teases him and calls him 'girly' but he doesn't mind it. He often claims that it has to be his 'love for the Nature' that has made him do so and he proudly says that he is born to be the one that helps the world to become a better place. Of course, the fact that he could 'help' the world or not is still in question but as far as Wei concerns, he's destined to unique the world and end Mother Nature's suffering.

Skills/Talents:
  • Excellent observation skill: This is one of Wei's natural talent. He can read people easily and judge them correctly based on their emotions, body language and other things. He takes great pride in teaching his younger brother this skill though he's quite annoyed that his brother only does it because it makes him happy...He wants his brother to realize it is an useful skill as well. With his observation, he can find the most efficient way to deal with certain kinds of people...a skill which he happily has.
  • Good Martial Arts Skill: He has been trained since a very young age and is excellent in Martial Arts, a blessing considers the fact that he is the one that fights half of the time and needs to be constantly sharpened his skills in order to take missions for the mafia.
  • Information Seller: His 'part-time job' is an information seller. Because of his power, it is very easy for Wei to collect information and sell it to anyone who wants to buy. Of course, the fact that he can collect more information, know more people, their weaknesses and have more contacts around the world only make the jobs sweeter in his opinions.
  • Good with animals: The Shun's children are always good with animals, all kinds of animals because of the way which they have been raised in but both the brothers are somehow better with animals than other children. The evidence can be found in the fact that stocks or birds in general extremely attach to Wei and are often seen flying around the teenager like some sorts of companions that Wei keeps.
  • Very good with flute and other traditional musical instrument: Wei is very talented in playing the flute and is often found playing the flute for his brother or the stocks. The songs Wei plays are often sad songs or lullabies. Wei can play other instruments as well but it is no where as good as his the flute.

Preferred Weapon: None - his only weapon is his younger brother.

Power(s):
  • Memory Manipulation
  • Sound Manipulation
  • Weapon Master

Abilities:
  • Memory Manipulation: This is Wei's weakest power even though it has the most potential. Basically, Wei can control as well as modify, fabricate, suppress, influence, repair, restore, erase, detect, and view mental memories. He can change memories to confuse, wipe away certain memories to cause amnesia, discern and provoke nostalgia, and enter the victim into a psychic vision replaying the memory. He may even effect his own memories selectively forgetting as he sees fit though he never tries it. To use it, he will need the victim to stay still for at least 2 minutes while his fingers touch their forehead. The limitations of his power are: It needs focus and causes a great deal of stress on his mind if he tries to use complicated applications, he can get overwhelm by others' memories, often confuses others' memory with his and of course, if he isn't careful, the chance that he might lose his memory is high and there are only two words to say about it EXTREMELY DRAINING.
  • Sound Manipulation: This is his second strongest power but it has many, many applications. Basically, he can control sound...to a very large extend. He can create sound waves to attack enemies, make the sounds higher or lower to affect the enemies' hearing, or even make a shield out of the sound waves. The only limitation of this power is that it is extremely draining and dangerous and his imagination...and his control as well, of course. If he loses control, not only he can be in danger but his loved one as well. Therefore, he avoids using this in combat situation but more in relaxing situations such as controlling the music, for example.
  • Weapon Master: This power is actually quite simple but very deadly and efficient and it is also the strongest power that he has. This power allows Wei to control and have the knowledge of any kinds of weapons that are currently in his hands no matter what kinds of weapons that are. For example: If he picks up the katana, he will instantly know how to fight with one and some basic moves such as dodging, or blocking...etc. Of course, the limitation of this power is that he will forget how to use that weapon once he doesn't have physical contact with it and he cannot do any flashy moves but only the basics and if he wants to learn how to use it, he has to learn it the hard way. He cannot 'turn this power off' or 'turn this power on' since it is a natural and automatic power that he has developed when he's endangered.

Personal History:
His family - the Shun Family, is proudly to be one of the very few families in the entire world knowing the true meaning of the world 'normal'. They are absolutely normal, with no power, no special ability, no 'freakish, abnormal' gene and they have 'remained pure' for generations - at least until Wei and Feng were born. Wei is the older twin - born 5 minutes earlier than Feng. It was the happiest day of the whole Shun family because according to their traditions, if a Shun woman is able to bear healthy twins, it's a sign of luck and wealth. Both Wei and Feng used to be treated like princes and spoiled like no other child could ever hope to be...until one day. Now, before I continue with the history, let's study something about the Shun Family. It is a very old and strict family. Some legends in the family say that they have existed since the beginning of the world. They despises humans with non-human power and often call them 'freaky things'. It is said that there used to be some members in the family that had powers but they all died early in 'unknown accidents'. Over all, the Shun Family hate superpowers. The Shun Family also love the nature with a passion and they dislike what the humans are doing - destroying the nature with technologies. They teach their children the love for nature at a very young age and until now, there is no information recorded about anyone in the whole family that disliked or destroyed the nature. Now, let's get back to the story. As I have said before, Wei and Feng were the princes of the Family. They're the Head of the Family's children and they received only the best kind of things possible. Both of them, like the rest of their family, love the nature and both are very bright boys. It brought join and happiness to the family knowing that their children will one day grow up to be great men just like their father.

However, fate doesn't want to give them what they wish for. Since an early age, Wei and Feng both knew they were different from the rest of the family. Not their faces or their hair or their eyes but the inside...they knew they were...not normal. But both of them didn't say anything in fear of what their family would do when they knew their children were 'demons'. The first sign of their power was showed when Wei and Feng were just 4 years old. The accident in which Feng had healed himself was witnessed not only by his older brother – Wei but also by a young maid as she accidentally stumbled upon the scene. Wei, in his panicked state of mind, erased her memory subconsciously and caused her to forget about the whole accident. Strange things happened over and over again as Wei realized he could control a human’s memory. Wei was not as naïve as his brother and knew exactly what it meant. He was the demon of the family; they were the demons of the family. But his love for his brother prevented Wei from telling anything as he kept his silence and helped Feng many times after that. A year later, when Feng had healed Wei himself from the cut, Wei had run out of reasons as to while his wound had been miraculously healed like that and he decided to tell Feng the truth. Feng, being the smart boy that he was, realized that their family would kill them if they knew about this something that Wei had figured out long ago. They tried their best to become the best of the best, hoping that if one day their secrets were uncovered, their family would still think of them as the same - the brightest children of the Shun Family.

Oh, how naive they had been! At last, the cat got out of the bag as one night, when the whole family (30 people) were having a huge dinner to celebrate their children coming to their age to inherit the title 'Head of House', both Wei and Feng (at the age of 6) were extremely happy because to the clan's tradition, once the males became the heir, there couldn't be anything to stop their position and both were ready to tell the family about their power right after the ceremony when Feng, being the clumsy one, accidentally cut his fingers and in front of the entire family - it was healed...in a freaky way. Their family were both shocked and outrage by the fact that some 'snotty brats' decided to cheat on the Shun Family and hide their demonic powers and even their father couldn't stop the family from reaching the decision that they both had to be burnt alive according to the family's traditions. The time drawled near as Wei and Feng were tied into a large tree, ready to be burnt to death...Feng, still being the naivest child out both brothers, cried out that 'there was nothing wrong with having a power' was the first one to be burnt alive and Wei watched in horror as their family -their aunts and uncles, father and mother burnt Feng's eyes. He struggled but it was no use. As last, Feng snapped. The boy turned into a katana and cut the rope before flying into his brother's hands. That was when something changed in Wei as well as the boy cut the rope and suddenly, his head was filled with knowledge of how to properly use a katana and he had killed his entire family in one single night before fleeing with his brother by his side.

But the damage was done anyway. Wei’s innocence was forever lost as they both had been forced to witness the great tragedy that they had caused their family. Wei had collapsed in tears after they left the house because he was always the gentle one but he had to be the one that killed the entire family...Feng could only comfort his brother and give him the support he depressedly needed in those dark hours. After that, they had joined the 'underground world' and lived a life of death and darkness. Wei had shortly after that discovered his two other powers and had abused his powers in order to earn money to support the brothers. While he was doing so, he began to think and slowly, in the mind of the 14-year-old teenager, began to discover his dream – the dream of a perfect world where everything could live together perfectly – everything but humans. He had hidden his dreams from his brother, afraid that Feng wouldn’t support him and therefore, he had distanced himself from Feng. But one day, both Wei and Feng had gone back to their old house - the Shun Family - now was nothing but a dead graveyard as they both searched for the 'hidden library' according to one of the legends. Their actions were not in vain. They were able to find the library, millenniums years old as they read and read and found out about the history of their own planet, how their planet had become this...Wei had finally decided that he had to tell his little brother about this intention and he was extremely surprised when he heard that his brother agreed whole-heartedly with his plans and with that, they came into Portum Animas in order to do some 'researches' and scheming. With Wei's ability, he quickly became the information collector of the underworld and he and his brother became the assassin, doing jobs for the mafia. But they wouldn't lay low for too long...all they needed now was to find the right chess pieces in order to fulfill their plans...'Humans, wait right there...we will show you the results of your deeds...the moment you decided to destroy the nature, you have sealed your own fate'

Other: Wei and Feng share very special bonds that only twins can have and they understand each other to a degree that there is no need for word or actions. Wei Zhen Shun ~ Feng Chen Shun

"...please, brother...those bastards deserve it!!!"

"...be careful with your language...and the answer is still no"

"...pretty please?"

"no"

"...come on...don't be such an ass, brother...I promise I...we won't make a scene"

"for the last time, Feng...I won't just let you go out and kill someone because you feel like it...we have to keep our cover!"

Wei growled out finally and turned his head, avoided his brother 'super puppy eyes' as they stared at him pleadingly. Who did his brother learn it from he would never know. But personally, Wei would prefer if he never figured that out. He sighed and covered his nose as he continued dusting the old books, completely ignored his younger sibling. It was a rather hot day today and truth to be told, Wei would love to have some relaxed time, eating ice cream, feeding his birds or watching the sunset ...or even simply laying on his bed, sleeping. Of course, he couldn't do that now, could he? The nineteen-year-old boy refrained himself from sighing again as he put some books on their respective places. He ran a hand through his sweaty long hair, silently admitted that he was quite bored as well...maybe a change of scenario was what they both needed right now. He turned his head and looked at Feng, whom, at the second of seeing his brother's defeated look, had begun to jump up and down, grinning like a fool. Wei snorted and said finally, empathized each word he said "don't.even.think.about.it" Feng just continued to grin and jump up to hug his brother, resulting in the older of two blushing furiously "...you're the best brother in the word, Wei!!!" Wei pushed Feng out as he turned his head to hide his pink cheeks, pretending to busy himself with another stack of books "...just shut up, you damned brat..." Feng chuckled and waved his hand in a dismissive manner "...yeah, yeah, love you, too, Wei..." Wei pursed his lips and said after a while "...though we won't go anywhere until we close the shop, you understand?"

Feng was having a fun time teasing his brother. Wei was so shy that he could freely tease his brother and still get some kinds of reactions from him. Seriously, teasing his brother had become somewhat of a new sport for him now and Wei's blush could always make Feng grin wider. He nodded his head frantically as he heard his brother asked him a question. Well, he didn't say they had to go out now. He just wanted to stretch his legs...and hands...and everything else after so many hours sitting in this crampy bookstore and acting nice to the customers. Why did he even agree to sell books again? Oh yes, his brother had practically forced him into doing it...with those blasted eyes of his. Feng rolled his eyes. What time was it again? Oh yeah, still had 4 more hours to go. 'Just great!' Feng thought sarcastically 'at this rate, we'll turn into old men before we could even think of helping the nature' Wei sent him a glare. Apparently, he could read Feng's facial expression...again. Feng could only look apologetically. 'Well, sorry for doubting you when what we only do is selling information for some cheap cents' Feng thought heatedly with an irritated huff. He vaguely heard Wei spoke slowly, as if carefully explained himself to him again. Dammit! Feng was not some kinds of toddlers. He understood the plan perfectly. He just didn't understand why it had to take them so long to prepare. He wanted some actions. He was stirring crazy here!

"Feng, you must understand...we have to be patient...It's the key to success! And it's not some information we are selling for cheap cents! By selling them, we can to a certain degree, access to a person's information...and we know what they know...don't you see it?" Wei said, nearly in tears because of his own anger and helplessness in making his brother realize how important their jobs were right now. Feng looked at his brother and bit his lips as he saw the other teenager had nearly cried...like usual. He sighed and patted his brother's back "...stop crying, Wei...I'm sorry...I shouldn't haven't been so...impatient...It's just...It has been so long since I last...had a mission...and I couldn't bear feeling like a sitting duck" Wei sniffed and wiped his face with his sleeve "...I'm sorry for being such a crybaby...I just want to make you understand..." The bell rang and Wei looked up, hastily wiped his face before Feng's hand stopped him "...I will go and talk with the customer...you stay here and clean your face..." Feng finished sternly.

Wei hiccuped and asked silently "...you're sure you can handle it...I can help you if you-" "...no need to make a fuss of everything, brother...there's no bastard I can't handle" Feng said confidently and pointed at his chest before walking out of the room. Wei corrected his brother half-heartedly "...language, Feng..." but shut up after Feng had walked out to handle their job. He sighed and mumbled "...do I have to be such a weakling?..." But no one could answer Wei and right now, Wei didn't have the answer to his own question. He would have to wait then...He looked out from the window. It's getting dark...He hoped he could close the shop soon...maybe a trip to lake Kalliope would help him clean his head and 'de-stress' himself...God knew he had worked a little too hard lately. He checked the wall clock. Wei wondered if there's any 'special' customer tonight...
