Introduction
Once upon a time, God told the animals, “I’m inviting you all to my banquet tomorrow. Don’t be late.” Hearing that the mischievous rat lied to his neighbor, the cat, and told him the banquet would be the day after tomorrow. The next day the rat rode on the back of the ox and nimbly landed before the banquet hall. After him followed the ox, the tiger, and all the rest, and together they feasted until morning. All except for the cat who had been tricked.
The Sohma family has been living with a curse for as long as they could remember. They are possessed by the vengeful spirits of the Chinese Zodiac. Whenever they hug a member of the opposite sex, who isn’t a member of the Zodiac, they transform into their respective animals. They stay away from crowds to lower the occurrences of them transforming and stay to themselves more often than not.
Those who know of the Zodiac curse live inside the gate as they always have and those who do not live outside the gate. Some of the older Zodiac members have received permission from the head of the family to live outside of the gates, but only a few are allowed to do so.
This story will occur a few generations after Yuki, Kyo, and Shigure’s generation. The curse wasn’t lifted and they family remained cursed. You may not have the same names or pasts as the original characters from the series. You will obviously be related to that generation, but they are not allowed to be your parents. They can be your grandparents or something of the like, remember you are a few generations younger than them. Only if you want your character to be in his twenties or thirties can they be your parents, but please try to be reasonable in the fact that not all of the characters can be that old, we do want some to be teenagers or younger. Also try not to have too many younger Zodiac members, try to stay within reasonable ages.

Masahiro shook his head slightly, leaning forwards to reach across the space between them. He ran his fingers lightly through her hair, examining her through eyes that were remarkably quiet. This was the mood that found him after every bout of violence, a remarkable peace out of which nothing could possibly stir him. He wouldn’t have hurt a fly in this state.
“You’re lying,” he repeated calmly. “You’re not good at lying.”

The room was darker than it appeared and colder than it was. Taki stared at Masahiro's pale hand as it brushed her pitched black hair. Taki nerves were jumpy and flinched every time Masahiro's fingers brushed against her cheek. Taki could feel the god's eyes analyzing every single move she made. Taki cheeks flush. The dog toke a deep breath before responding to Masahiro. " Most people can't catch my lies but you are the Sohma god. I guess it one of many gifts. So, your right, I was lying and I'm sorry."
" Today at school I ate lunch with a girl named Akane Hirogatsu, the nicest girl at the school. She notice that I had no one eat with and nothing to eat. Akane offered me food but I refused, so instead she came onto roof with me and kept me company. She asked question about my favorite things. But when she asked me about my parents... I told her good they were, well... mostly my mom anyway. After lunch I couldn't stop thinking about them and how much they cared for me.
When I first came here, I was banned to ever see them or talk to them. I know the dragon erased their memories but I just want- I wanted to know where they live, if their back on their feet. If my mother okay, or if she dead. I want to see them. And I have kept my promise to be by your side at all times. Only once have I disobeyed you and that was only because I was scare of you. I think I desire to atleast see them and how their doing."

As Taki spoke, Masahiro's eyes turned to ice, and the air around him seemed to go cold. It was as though his gaze alone had power over the entire world, as though the world responded to his every mood.
And he wasn't happy with her questions.
He waited for her to finish, and then he sat in silence, staring straight into her eyes, expressionless and motionless. His hand hovered half way between them, frozen as he was, seemingly caught between strike and caress. But perhaps he should have moved that hand, should have struck. To many a physical blow would not seem as cruel as the words that slipped through his lips.
"You have no parents," he told her softly, in a voice that might have seemed gentle, concerned, if it were anyone but Masahiro speaking. "You have no family. No friends. Without me you would have nothing in this world. You would be nothing."
Shifting gracefully, he came to his feet, standing over her. He tipped his chin up, glaring down his nose at his own personal dog.
"Remember that, pup," he hissed at her. "You owe me your life. Without me you would be worse than dead."
He whisked around, turning his back on her and heading for the porch, to take his customary seat and stare out over the garden.
"Outsiders are dangerous," he told the girl icily. "Do not befriend that girl. Do not reveal our secret to the world."
And he wasn't happy with her questions.

Akihiko walked into the garden of the main house and saw Masahiro sitting on the porch, pausing for a second as the memories of earlier passed through his head. He frowned ever so slightly and started walking again. When he reached the porch, he stopped for a second. "Masahiro-sama," he said quietly before continuing to walk up onto the porch and past Masahiro. Akihiko looked over and saw Taki near Masahiro. He gave Taki a small smile. "Taki-chan," he said quietly as well as he headed towards his room.

Mitsuki Sohma
Mitsuki watched the fish in the pond swirl around in the cold water. She poked her finger in, and giggled when the fish nibbled on the tip of her finger. She then begin to yawn. "hm?" A red balloon was floating in the air while the wind gently pushed it. Her icy blue eyes twinkled before she slowly got up wobbling a bit. Running slowly out as if there was no care in the world. Her thin hand reached out as if she can grasp her fingers around the string of the floating balloon. Soon enough she made it to town. People eyed her strangely at her odd color hair and eyes. Mitsuki looked a bit to federal to be in the modern time. She was wearing a kimono and her bright ivory white hair hit the floor. As she continues running, she crashes into something or someone. She falls back and painfully lands on her back. Mitsuki peers up to see a girl.
Mizure Sohma
Mizure was near the god, and his personal "dog" as they spoke. Her eyes narrowed a bit at their interaction. Of all people it had to be taki who lost it all. It was sad and she almost pitied the girl, but she didnt. Sighing she softly spoke not wanting to offend the god in any way. "God-sama even though she makes a foolish mistake i could always erase the girl's memory, so dont worry." She swallows nervously hoping Masahiro didnt hiss at her. "Masahiro-sama," She looks at Akihiko, the rat. She didn't talk to him much but she knows enough. Mizure runs her fingers through her dark mute black hair as she took a step back.

Akane yelped as a little girl crashed into her, nearly knocking her off of her feet. But it was the little girl who fell this time, not Akane. She spun around, staring down at the child in something akin to horror.
"Are you alright?" she cried, crouching beside the child. Her hands fluttered anxiously over her, checking for wounds. "I didn't hurt you, did I?!"

She shook her head respectfully. "No Masahiro-sama not today, but if you want me to leave i would do so. " She questions softly. Her dark purple eyes show no defiance nor any hate it was calm.

She rubs her head as the pain slowly goes away, she looks up at her and smiles cheerfully. "Im fine..but why am i on the floor." Her voice asked in confusion. It seems her illness kicked in once again causing her to forget things randomly yet slowly. Mitsuki's head cocked to the side, before she got up weakly. "Anyways! my name is Mitsuki Sohma nice to meet you!" Mitsuki greets cheerfully like nothing happened.

Tezuka watched out of the corner of his eye as Akihiko left, and then returned his to Rukishi. "You're a jackass, you know that?" He wanted to glare, but it only sharpened his pounding headache. He shut his eyes, just wanting the world to go away. "If you're done, then go away. Akihiko has had at least two attacks today, you should probably see to him, if he doesn't try to kill you first."
Takuya sighed. Rukishi sure knew how to dampen an already sour mood. Amora seemed to sense his discomfort, and nuzzeled her way deeper into his arms. He looked down at her and smiled, petting her softly. She then sat down on the floor, leaning his head against the wall. He wondered if there was any way he could ever get out of living at the Main house. Even as he thought it, he knew it was impossible. Being one of the actual Zodiac, the Horse, there was no way Masahiro would ever let him leave.

Akihiko stopped and looked over his shoulder at Masahiro as he mentioned homework. "I do have homework; however, I got a bit busy earlier when I was cleaning up the mess that you made Masahiro-sama," he said, his face was warm and calm, but his voice was cold. Akihiko let his statement sink in for a second before turning around and giving a small bow. "I'm sorry if my statement has angered you in anyway, Masahiro-sama. I don't mean any disrespect," he said quietly as he straightened and turned around to continue to his room.

hatred. Taki griped at her long skirt with a tight hold. The dog's had to take deeps breaths to calm herself down- trying not be like Masahiro and only see red. But as every minute she was in that long the more she hated Masahiro, the more she hated the others, the more she hated everyone in this damn house... the more she hated the name Sohma! What a cursed name. The name should mean hell.
All that Taki wanted was to be outside that house.

Akihiko left Masahiro and the others and sat down on his bed for a few minutes before deciding to check on Mitsuki. He stood up and walked to Mitsuki's and knocked quietly before looking in and not seeing her. He frowned and didn't remember seeing her in the garden or anywhere else. He ran a hand through his hair and walked out of the house and stepped into his shoes before heading across the garden and out of the main house. He wandered through the city, looking for where Mitsuki could be, knowing that it probably isn't best for her to be wandering around the city by herself. He turned a corner and saw Mitsuki talking with Akane. He walked up to Mitsuki and tapped her arm gently as he stood next to her.
"Mitsuki, you shouldn't be wandering around by yourself. I don't think that Masahiro-sama would be all that happy about it," he said quietly. He looked over at Akane and smiled gently. "Hello again, Miss Hirogatsu," he said just as quietly as before.

Masahiro smiled slightly, evilly, at Mizure and patted the floor at his side. Then he turned his attentions once more to Taki. If there was one thing he seemed to enjoy more than abusing his zodiac, it was abusing them with an audience. Even if that audience comprised entirely of another member of the zodiac.
"Do you understand, Taki?" he asked in a whispering tone. "I don't expect you to. You're just a dog... why would you understand? You're not smart enough to know..."

"H-hello, Sohma-san," she murmured, bowing rapidly to him. "I-it's nice to see you again. Do you know... Mitsuki-chan... somehow?"
It was a stupid question, but she was too flustered to think of anything else.
"Do you understand, Taki?" he asked in a whispering tone. "I don't expect you to. You're just a dog... why would you understand? You're not smart enough to know..."

Akihiko smiled gently and laughed internally. "I do know Mistuki-chan, she's my cousin. I didn't miss anything too important in school after I left, did I?" he asked quietly. "I wasn't quite feeling too well, and I would ask my relatives, but they all left shortly after I did, so they wouldn't know." He smiled softly until a group of guys ran past them; one of them running into him and causing him to fall forward. There wasn't enough space between himself and Akane to let him catch himself, his eyes widened and the one thought that passed through his mind was - Masahiro-sama is going to kill me. I have a feeling I may end up in that room again -. He fell into Akane and he felt them both fall backwards, so he wrapped an arm around her and turned around on the way to the ground so that he would hit the ground first, trying to keep her from hitting the ground too hard. When they hit the ground, Akihiko turned into his Zodiac, a small grey rat. "Mitsuki, how many people do you think saw?" Akihiko asked quietly as he looked up at her.

It started snowing and it was to cold for anyone to be outside. Making Rukishi very sad, because their were barely any high school girls to flirt with. Yet, there's hope! Rukishi was walking down at sidewalk to see Akihiko and Mitsuki with a very pretty young girl. Probably a high school girl! Aaaaw, the rat has a crush! Time to ruin it! Rukishi picked up speed, then slowed down as tragedy happen.
A transformation...
" Akihiko! No!"
Taki nodded refusing to look up at Masahiro, fearing that he'll see how upset she is. " Of coarse I understand, I shouldn't have asked in the first place. Should've known the answer would be no... "Rukishi-kun what do we do!" Rukishi hurried up to pick up Akihiko clothes, stumbling a bit because of his nerves. In all honesty, Rukishi had no idea what do, their in public! Any you could have camera or a cell phone... take a picture or video. The whole family is at risk at the moment! He was trying to think of a place to go, but couldn't come up with anything. " First we need to get somewhere really private; where to other Sohma's don't go. If anyone from the main house see us, we all wil be in serious trouble." Rukishi glanced at Akane who probably is in shock in the moment. Aaaaaw, man this is bad.

Masahiro smiled then, slightly (only slightly) less unpleasantly.
"Good girl," he murmured, reaching out and fondling Taki's hair, as anyone might fondle a dog's ears.
Then he turned to Mizure, and his eyes sparked.
"Problem, Mizure-chan?" he asked evenly.

Akane was not expecting the fall, but that didn't matter. She was good at falling. She did it all the time .and managed not to hurt herself too badly. Normally she would have just jumped to her feet and started bowing an apology.

She lay on the ground, propped up by her elbows, staring open-mouthed at the tiny gray rat that she could have sworn had once been Akihiko. It certainly spoke in Akihiko's voice. Her eyes flew around, to Rukishi, to Mitsuki, to the rat... Akihiko... rat...
She shook her head rapidly.
"Wh-what... just happened?" she squeaked, then blinked, turning to stare at Akihiko. Suddenly, she seemed worried not about her own surprise, but about Akihiko. "A-are you alright?" she cried, completely over the fact: it seemed: that he had turned into a rat in the first place. "It doesn't hurt, does it?! Was it my fault?! I'm so sorry!"

Akihiko blinked at Akane's response when she started to worry about him. "I'm quite alright, but Rukishi-kun is right. We need to move somewhere more private so that when I change back no one else will be around to see," Akihiko said as he climbed up Rukishi's pant leg and onto his shoulder. "Anyways we should hurry, I'm not sure how much longer I'll stay a rat. Miss Hirogatsu, if you come with us, I'll explain what I can. Rukishi-kun, you don't think I'll be put in there again, do you?" he asked, flopping down on his shoulder and looking down at the ground.

She stops when he spoke to her.
"Problem, Mizure-chan?"
Mizure was about to shake her head until she caught Taki's sorrowful eyes. It caused her to snap.
"Yes there is Masahiro!" "why do you treat Taki-san so unfairly, your just the same as us!" She pants after the non stop yelling, but her eyes widen in fear. She rose her voice toward the god of the sohmas. Why did she have to snap! Why couldnt she hold it in. Her bangs shadowed over her eyes waiting for a painful hit.
"i-im sorry.." She whispers.

Before she heard a story about a girl named Tohru but the memory faded ever so slightly. It caused her to smile just a bit, though her eyes still remain to it dreamy look.
"if we need somewhere private.." She looks toward Akane. "We can go to your home?" She says suggestively.

Masahiro froze. All movement seemed to abandon him at Mizure's outburst, as though she were quite suddenly a very lifelike doll.
The smile that crossed his face was cruel and false. Slowly, gracefully, he came to his feet, sweeping his streaming black hair out of his face and turning to Mizure.
"Come with me, Mizure-chan," he commanded calmly. "And you as well, Taki-chan. It is time to remind you of your places..."
He turned then, striding away from them. Striding away from his favorite room on the estate... that black room where he took those who displeased him to receive their punishments.

She gets up and looks down at Taki.

No, Takuya is the calm, playful one. Tezuka is the one who got hurt, not crippled. But he is playful to the tiger. Like Kisa and Hatsuharu before, ya know? You had them backwards.

Yay! We made it to post 100!!! Hurrah! Hopefully the roleplay will last alot longer than the others I've created, once we got to like 113 posts, it died...*knocks on wood* I don't want to jinx us, but Yay!!!! I'm happy to say the least.
