Choko is flamboyant, waiting for a chance to strut her stuff. Yet, she is quiet and solemn. She carries a charisma and charm that attracts people like moths to a flame. She likes it that way. Choko is incredibly loyal, and is a devoted friend. Despite her shyness, Choko is quite brave and stands up for what she believes in strongly. She is observant and reliable, ready to give a helping hand. When a situation calls for wisdom,Choko has the answer, taken from her own experiences. She has a low self esteem, and often puts herself down. Choko is probably the most motivated of the Sohma's, never stopping until the job is done. Pressure gets the better of Choko, making her seem abrasive at times. Choko is honest and expects others to be on the same page. In fact, she builds relationships based on trust and honesty. Caught in a lie, expect a tongue lashing biting, blunt and to the point. Choko is practical and dislikes mockery and lazy behavior. She does many good deeds for others with exceptional results. She asks for appreciation, though she would never dare ask for it.Her eye to detail is prestige, which makes her great for business.Organization is a virtue of Choko's. Her room is neat and tidy, as is her appearance. It calms her knowing that everything is in its place. It calms her knowing she has control. She may look the feminine part, but she certainly doesn't act like it.She is quite frugal, often buying things on sale or discount. Choko enjoys purchasing expensive merchandise after hard work. She would have no qualms swiping the credit card on four-star hotels and restaurants.Eating good and looking good, it's the Rooster way.

Be Ok - Ingrid Michaelson
Choko was born to a worrisome mother and a loving father. When her mother had heard of the news that the last Rooster had passed, she was worried with the possibility that her child-this being said when Choko's mother had been six months pregnant-would be the next to be cursed. On Choko's birthday, suspicions became reality. Her father, had embraced the child and to his utter surprise, a small red bird lay in his arms! At first, Choko's father would bear through it, but as time went on, her father began avoiding Choko, eventually ignoring her completely. The father had trouble accepting the fact that his daughter would turn into a bird and began to get into arguments with her mother. Eventually, both decided that they would leave Choko at the Sohma residence and start over, live a new life. To Choko it was pure abandonment. The loss was devastating to her as a young child but now, she tries not to think too much of it. She attended the local school and passed with decent grades. She had been picked on the majority of her school years due to her unusual plainness. She been called names relating to women in the Edo Period of Japan. It hurt her, but as time went through, she began understanding the rest of the Sohma's miseries and learned to just bear through it, knowing that people have gone through worse and still stand strong. Though, the teasing did change her in a way-she began paying attention to trends and fashions, which helped make her the attractive woman she is today. She now attends college getting her degree in Accounting in hopes of one day owning a Flower Shop. She volunteers as a book keeper at the local library every now and then and is often seen in the garden.
