Description: Torako has naturally curly black hair that is layered. His hair is mostly cut around chin-length, though there are some longer pieces, most notably so is a portion of his bangs. His eyes are actually a dark shade of purple due to trauma when he was very young. Unfortunately, he also has extremely poor vision because of the injury and usually wears contacts, though he has been known to wear his glasses on occasion. He's slim, but not extremely so, and he has quite a bit of core and upper body strength. He is usually seen in a pair of black jeans, a red t-shirt, and a black jacket. He's been known to change up the colors or his style every now and then, but he always seems to wear a black and red dog collar around his neck, complete with a fish-shaped pet ID tag that says "little tiger" on it; a very uncreative pun on his name. He also carries around a music composition notepad and a pencil, both of which he keeps safely tucked in the inside pocket of his jacket.
Personality: Torako is blunt to the point of rudeness and his favorite word seems to be 'idiot,' which he calls his friends a lot, though it's actually quite affectionately. He's often quiet, but when he has an opinion he's not afraid to speak up. He often gets lost in his thoughts and has been known to hum melodies while he's distracted. He doesn't seem to notice that he hums them anymore and gets rather embarrassed when somebody points it out. He's very stubborn, but extremely patient. For some reason unknown to him, young children tend to flock to him. He can sing rather well, though he does his utmost to avoid anyone knowing that since he thinks that it's embarrassing. He gets very annoyed when people point out his eye color or poor eyesight, especially when they ask him if he needs help because of it. Something random this way comes.

History: Torako Shinta Toushi was born on February 22nd to Kara and Kenji Toushi. His parents were always ones to make jokes or puns about anything they could, so naturally, when they had a child on the so-called "cat day," they couldn't resist the opportunity to name their little boy Torako, which is made up of the kanjis for 'tiger' (tora) and 'child' (ko). When he was still very young, his parents got in a rather bad fight one night and infant Torako was caught in the crossfire. A couple weeks in the hospital later and it was revealed that the injury had damaged the pigments and vessels in his dark blue eyes, thus creating his rather unnatural dark purple irises. After that, his parents went back and forth between living together and being separated, though they finally got divorced when he was fifteen. He lived with his mother until he was eighteen, when he promptly moved into the dorms at his university of choice, where he studied music composition and learned how to sing to the best of his ability. He is still attending the university and lives in the dorms.
Anything Else: He usually wears contacts, but when he is studying, working, at home, or reading he wears his glasses, which have very thin wire frames.
