I think so... I was just walking too fast and I tripped....T-thanks Izumi-chan. You're in 2C as well?"Izumi glanced back down at the girl, noting how short she was. Or maybe Izumi was just tall. Either way.
"Well, good, I'm glad you're alright,"
The small girl introduced her sister, who was already gone, and Izumi remembered the two were inseparable last year, and that Yomi the younger of the two was often picked on. Izumi mentally frowned, feeling protective. She herself was picked on some for her intelligence and general nerdy-ness, but that didn't mean she couldn't defend the girl if anyone said anything.
Kenzo and Yomi finished introducing themselves to each other and Izumi offered them both a small smile. "I see three empty seats by the window over there," She jerked her head towards the classroom. All three of them were late, and now the teacher had stopped her lesson and was looking at the door.
"Would you guys like to sit together? Oh yeah, Kenzo-san, you might want this." Izumi held his pass out to him. She lowered her voice slightly and leaned down towards Yomi so the teacher wouldn't hear. "And since you don't have one, Yomi-chan, I'll cover for you," She gave a kind smile.
Often, it took Izumi awhile to open up to someone. Until then she was, well, a bit of a snappy 'I'm better than you' type of girl. But she liked Yomi, and Kenzo didn't seen half bad, so, Izumi figured, to hell with it, I'll just pretend their my friends. That way, she was less likely to be rude, though sometimes, even to friends, she was slightly bi-polar.
"You get the seats..?" She said to Yomi, then calmly entered the room, moving up to the teacher with a confident look as she held out her pass.
"Kurosun, Izumi Sensei. Ikoma, Kenzo is about to come in, as is Ishida, Yomi... We were all involved in a bit of an incident in the hall that resulted in us being late. In her rush Haniko-sensei forgot to add Yomi-chan's name..."
She made up a quick calculated story that kept formal and straight to the point. The teacher, already knowing her reputation, excused them all with a smile, gesturing for them to sit down and join the lesson.
Izumi smirked to herself, rolling her eyes.
The stupidity of adults, going off a reputation to decide how a current event goes... Ah, well, I won't complain. She sat in the aisle seat of the three desks she'd seen, pulling out a notebook. She already knew what they were going over, and they had luckily missed the rules and expectations speech.
