Kiseki Okinawa's Story

“KIMIKO!” A five foot four blonde with forest green orbs dressed in her school uniform furiously rushed down the stairs towards the dining room. She swiftly dodged a flying pancake and stopped right in front of her younger sister before snatching her beanie right off the girl’s head. “How many times have I told you to stop wearing my stuff?”

The girl merely shrugged and walked out the door. Kiseki rolled her eyes and sat down, ready for breakfast. She’s lucky she’s related to me! Or else she wouldn’t look as cut and I wouldn’t have a problem deforming her face sometimes… I wonder if anyone made some onigiris…She looked around the table to see nothing but crumbs and some sauce and oil from whatever her siblings had earlier. She groaned in disappointment and stood up. She turned to see her youngest brother, Kyo, right before her holding a strip of bacon. “I saved this,” he said with a cheesy smile. Kiseki let out an “Awww” and touched her heart. “For me,” his smile was soon replaced with a devilish grin as he devoured the bacon.

Sigh, it was too good to be true. She scrunched her nose in disgust and took an apple from the fruit basket. “Tch, I didn’t want to eat anything from your greasy little claws anyway.” She said with her head held high as she made her way out the door, putting her beanie on in the process without a word.

Kiseki lived in a rich neighborhood which wasn’t walking distance from the school so she had to be driven there by Pippo, her chauffeur. As soon as she got there, she saw a group of students together. She instantly recognized the two second years, Jin Mantra and Izumi Kurosun. Kiseki didn’t know much about them except for the fact that they excelled in academics and whatnot. Rarely has she ever talked to them but she liked Izumi just ‘cause she proved those blonde jokes wrong.

She had the urge to run to them right when she saw the other two students with them. She had no idea who they were so she concluded that they were either freshmen or new students- not that freshmen aren’t new students. Kiseki smiled, loving meeting and greeting with either of those! She just liked making them feel welcome and gain some more friends. As she was about to skip to them, she noticed another unfamiliar face with auburn hair and dark chocolate brown eyes. Aww! She’s all by herself! I am sooo gonna be her friend! Merrily skipping towards the girl, she jumped right beside her with a huge ear-to-ear grin. “Hi there! I’m Kiseki Okinawa! People usually call me Kiseki but you can call me whatever you like! Well, as long as it’s not anything mean… Anywho! What’s your name? Are you a freshmen or just a new student in a higher grade? Ohh! I can just tell we’re going to be great friends!”

Jin smiled warmly at Kenzo lightly clapped him on the shoulder. He knew how tough it was going to a new school. "Hey, there's no need to apologize. It was completely my fault." He laughed and raised his hand to his head, "I'm just naturally clumsy." He bowed to the three girls and began to pick up his papers.

“Hi there! I’m Kiseki Okinawa!" Suddenly, the blood rushed to his cheeks as the Keseki skipped across the yard. He looked up to see her greting a freshman. He smiled, she was always so friendly and happy. If only he had the courage to ask her out. Jin shook his head, clearing out his foolish thoughts of love and picked up the rest of his papers.

The short boy ran back to the others and bowed towards Yuki and Kenzo. "I never did properly introduce myself. I'm Mantra, Jin. I can tell your both new here and could probably use some help around so How about I give you guys a tour of the school at lunch?" He turned to Haniko and, once again, bowed. "Sorry about being tardy Haniko-Sensei. I'd say I won't do it again but I'd probably be lying. I'd really appreciate it if you gave us a late pass because this really is all my fault."

He made a mental note to high-five Izumi afterwards for giving him the idea of passes. Though now that he thought about it she'd probably refuse and beat him on the next test like usual. Jin liked to think that they had a very healthy rivalry going for test scores. She would win some, he would win some. It was a never ending clash of intelligence's except however in two classes. English and Biology. English was incredibly easy for Jin, being able to speak it fluently from living in Canada for three years and bio, well let's just say this is where dark humor gets it's kicks. Especially when dissecting a fetal pig like they did last year.

Akimitsu Sato

The door handle was just beneath Akimi's fingers, but as soon as she layed a hand on them, she felt someone tug her back slightly, coming fae-to-face with a bubbly blonde she had never seen before. "Hi there! I'm Kiseki Okinawa! People usually call me Kiseki but you can call me whatever you like! Well, as long as it's not anything mean... Anywho! What's your name? Are you a freshmen or a just a new student in a higher grade? Oh! I can just tell we're going to be great friends!" the blonde said merrily.

Amiki opened and closed her mouth like a gold fish, not really understanding why she was talking to her. She quicky shook her head and gave the girl a friendly smile of her own. "Kiseki! I love it! My name's Akimitsu Sato, but feel free to just call me Akimi! I'm a freshmen, so that's why you probably haven't seen me around." she said chuckling. She could tell too that they where going to be great friends. "What grade are you in?" she aske, although she supposed Kiseki was a grade or two higher than her.

"Kiseki! I love it! My name's Akimitsu Sato, but feel free to just call me Akimi! I'm a freshmen, so that's why you probably haven't seen me around." Kiseki smiled as the girl chuckled. "What grade are you in?"

Without a warning, Kiseki linked their arms together, opened the door, and hurried her inside the building chatting animatedly, even giving out some unneeded information. “Why thank you lovely freshmen! This is my second year here at Fukushima High. I’m in class 2B! Mou, I wish you were in my grade so we could have lots of classes together! I could’ve also said that I’d wish to be in your grade but there were some certain things I’d rather not be reminded of. My sister actually went to this school last year too but she obviously graduated seeing as she doesn’t go here anymore. Hey! You know what we should do? If you have the time, we should totally hang out after school and get some bubble tea! I know this place called Ivy Noodle and let me tell you: the food is SO delicious you could just keep eating and eating and eating and eating until BAM! You blow up! Sadly, you can’t really eat as much as you want- even though your stomach is begging for more- unless you have a fast metabolism… That is, unless you keep all that weight in you and prefer being rolled down the sidewalk if not lifted up by a helicopter… We should totally get some new people to come with us, too! I have so many ideas going on in my head right now I seriously don’t know what to do… So, what class are you in?” Kiseki felt her cheeks warm up a bit. She hoped Akimi wasn’t freaked out by her. She knew she had a habit of talking fast a lot and it scared some people off sometimes. I just had to inherit my mother’s genes, huh?

Akimitsu Sato

Before answering Akimi's question, Kiseki linked arms with her and pulled her inside the school building. She then turned towards her and started talking animately. She told Akimi she was in 2B, that her sister had gone to Fukushima High before but had graduated, hence her not being here. She told her about a very good bubble tea place called Ivy Noodle, and asked her if she wanted to go there with her. Akimi smiled throughout Kiseki's whole speech. The girl sure talked a lot, but it didn't annoy Akimi in the slightest. She chuckled quietly when Kiseki finished, blushing slightly. She was just too cute and clearly a very fun person to be around.

"We ahould defenetly find more people to come with us! And sure! I don't have anything important after school, so going for a bubble tea sounds amazingly delicious!" she said, agreeing with what Kiseki had said. "Oh, I'm in 1B," she said checking her schedule. "could you maybe show me around? I kind of don't know where anything is and I'm afraid I'll end up lost... Of course if it isn't a problem!" Akimi said blushing slightly.

Kiseki squealed with excitement. Akimi just agreed to hang out after school and find more people to come along.

"Oh, I'm in 1B," she said checking her schedule. "could you maybe show me around? I kind of don't know where anything is and I'm afraid I'll end up lost... Of course if it isn't a problem!" Kiseki’s eyes lit up. “No problemo!” she said with a thick Japanese accent. “I'll take you to your class right now! But since I also have classes, I won’t be able to show you a tour. Maybe in lunch?” Her smile soon faded once she saw the time. “Aww, man! I’m gonna be late! I gotta get you to class right now!” Kiseki immediately power walked to 1B- which wasn’t too far away from where they were. “Break a leg in you first class Akimi-chan! I would love to hang around more and chit-chat but my teacher’s going to bite my head off!” She leaned in close and whispered to her, “My sister told me she was a total bitch!” Kiseki then leaned back and talked normally again. “But that was just her so I can’t judge. My sister was was known for giving teachers a whole tub of bullpiss anyways. I seriously don’t know where my parents went wrong… Anyways, sayonara! Gambate!” Kiseki gave her a quick good-bye hug and skipped all the way to the other side of the school.

Let’s see…. 2A… 2B… Wait! I am in 2B! She skipped backwards to see Jin once again, a purple haired girl, a boy whose face she didn’t quite catch, and a tall guy with the silkiest, most luscious looking hair she’s ever seen. Oh my… How can… How can he…? Gosh, they look so soft… Her fingers twitched. Gah! I can’t resist it! She ran to the stranger and jumped on his back. She knew she was going to get in a shit load of trouble for this but this man had some GORGEOUS hair. She’s not going to lie: she is jelly. She touched his hair and stopped, moving her hand gently and slow, careful not to mess his precious locks. Noticing she was still on the guy, she stood on her two feet once again and rested her hand on her hips. “Seriously… What conditioner do you use?” Her eyes were glued on his hair until she realized that she was being rude for attacking before introducing herself. "Oh! And I'm Kiseki Oikinawa. Sorry about that... You're hair is irresistable. You're obviously new since I don't know you, yes? Tell me, are you an expert in hair products? I've got this little brother who always gets things in his hair! And how the heck did you get your hair silkier than mine?"

Yori twitched when a third boy ran by them, totally ignoring her. This was getting irritating already.. She noticed the blonde had almost said something to her before the third person rudely moved into the room. Why didn't I think of that? It would've been easier than explaining myself. She rubbed her temples, shaking her head before turning her attention to the blonde boy, who introduced himself to the other boy as Kou. She didn't catch the other boy's name though. The dark haired one was still unknown to her.

Duh class is starting! I've been trying to get in for a while now! She closed her eyes and just nodded to his apology. Cool it, Yori. He's just a bit of an airhead. "It's cool." she mumbled to Kou before walking inside as well, taking the seat in the back corner, right next to the windows. Just like she wanted. She pulled out her notebook, starting to write in her journal. She'd done it every day since she started middle school. She documented her entire day. It was a lot more honest than her mental thoughts and words. The words on the paper was the true Yori.

She didn't even pay attention once in class, she just wrote the date, then continued with her day; Late. That really sucks, I wanted to set an example for Yomi today, but I think I failed terribly. I hope she isn't disappointed in me. I was almost late for class cause of this guy named Kou, he was rather attractive, but so was the other boy. Though the blonde is a little weird from what I can tell, he's got this weird air about him and he stood in the doorway for what felt like forever. The third boy just went to sleep once he sat down! I was a little rude though, but I can't let anyone think that I'm a pushover. They'll think they can pick on Yomi again..

Her thoughts were broken when she heard a lot of talking, closing her journal quickly. She noticed a really pretty blonde girl, just watching the events with a confused and curious expression on her face, perhaps the most innocent and least intimidating she'd displayed thus far. This girl...can talk.

Kou laughed at the girl named 'Kiseki' and ruffled her own hair. It was obviously she took the time to do it everyday for it felt almost as soft as his. "I'm no master at hair but I do suppose my hair stylist would know. If you like, I could bring the conditioner I use to school." He said still staring at the sleeping figure when suddenly the guy's arm fell from under him and his head banged the desk. Kou kept staring at the now red faced student who managed a hello. He smiled warmly at Kasei and ruffled his hair.

"Your hair is softer then mine." He commented with a mischievous smile. "And hello, I am Yukina Kou but I just go by Kou. May I know your name?" Kou asked still staring at Kasei and nearly forgetting about Kiseki.

Yori didn't even realize it, but she'd fallen asleep along the lines. She really was scatterbrained when she was worried. Now she'd have to ask someone what went on during the class. She hated having to depend on people, but it was Yomi's fault. She didn't get any sleep because of Yomi. She was too worried about her and now she was was sleeping in her classes from the lack of sleep, "I'm sure she's doing fine.." She reassured herself out loud in a whisper, stretching her arms and looking over at the other students in 2C. She decided to reach over, tapping the blonde. I think he said his name was Kou.. on the shoulder since 4th period was almost over, "Hey, Kou-san, right? Did you pay attention in class? If so, did I miss anything?" she asked with a yawn. She withdrew her hand, rubbing her eyes as she waited for an answer. She was a little less rude when half asleep. If he didn't know she'd just ask the other blonde girl who seem ensnared by him, or the boy who looked about her height. Though.. he was sleeping too.. that would do no good.. maybe that dark haired guy that was also blocking the door..

Akimitsu Sato

Kiseki's eyes lit up as she answered Akimi's question. "No problemo! I'll take you to your class right now! But since I also have classes, I won’t be able to show you a tour. Maybe in lunch?"

Akimi smiled thankfully and nodded her head, "Lunch's perfect!" she said.

She watched as Kiseki's smile faded once she saw the time. "Aww, man! I’m gonna be late! I gotta get you to class right now!" Kiseki immediately power walked to 1B- which wasn’t too far away from where they were, dragging Akimi along the way. "Break a leg in you first class Akimi-chan! I would love to hang around more and chit-chat but my teacher’s going to bite my head off!" Kiseki said. Akimi grinned as she leaned in close and whispered to her, "My sister told me she was a total bitch! But that was just her so I can’t judge. My sister was known for giving teachers a whole tub of bullpiss anyways. I seriously don’t know where my parents went wrong… Anyways, sayonara! Gambate!" Kiseki said, giving Akimi a quick good-bye hug and skipped away. Akimi chuckled and shook her head slightly; that girl sure knew how to put on a show. She was quiet the character in Akimi's opinion, but nevertheless she liked her a lot.

Akimi slowly turned around and breathed in deeply. A door with the number 1 and the letter 'B' engraved in it was standing in front of her and after deliberating whether it was a good idea or not to enter the classroom even though it was late, she grabbed the handle and pushed it open. She came face-to-face with a mad teacher, giving her a disapproving look and a whole lot of curious freshmen like her. Smiling sheepishly, Akimi entered the classroom and closed the door behind her, fidgeting with her uniform's sleeves.

"Well, it's good for you to join us... better late than never. Since this is your first day at Fukushimi, and I assume you where lost and not chit-chatting with your new friends, I'm letting this slip. Please take a seat." The teacher said, gesturing to an empty seat near the back rows. "Arigatō Sensei" Akimi said, bowing her head slightly and taking her assigned seat.

Following the others into the class, Jin had simply smiled and thrown the pass onto the teachers desk. The teachers were all used to him being late and didn't even bother to ask questions anymore. He took the seat beside Kasei and behind Yori and realized he didn't even know what class it was. 'Oh well, He first class is never that important anyways.' He reached into his binder and pulled out his favourite book, Ender's Game. Soon he was buried nose deep in the world of alien invasions and battle academy.

A loud crash startled Jim from his trance. He turned to see Kasei picking himself up from the desk and stifled a grin at the shy boys expression. 'He's really cute, especially with that scarf. I hope he's alright.'. Kasei's face changed from pain and embarrassment to smiles and jauntiness. Jim smiled and returned to his book.

About half way through third period Jin came to a shocking revelation. 'I'm in the same class as Kiseki!' He quickly scanned the class and sure enough, sitting right in front of Kou, was Keseki. Her beautiful blonde hair bobbed as she wrote. The small boy shoved his face back into his novel to hide his scarlet face. He didn't know what to think, his emotions were a mixture of happy was and fear. 'Oh god, what if I do something stupid! Then she'll never want to go out with me!

The bell for lunch rang just as Jin closed his book. "Ahhh, there's nothing like a good book." He yawned as he stood from his chair. He had almost reached the door when he noticed that the purple haired girl from earlier seemed to be staring at him. His legs carried him past Kou, who he politely waved at as he went by. "Can I help you?" He asked the girl. 'Crap, I gotta make this quick. I'm meeting Kenzo and the other girl soon.'

Kiseki jumped out her seat and rushed out the door after quickly jotting down notes from today’s lesson. She was going to show a new friend a tour! Why would she not wait to get out of class?

Kiseki had to jump to see over people’s head, excitedly trying to find Akimi. 1B was all empty except for the teacher sitting at her desk and there was no sign of the auburn-haired girl in the lunch room either. Hm… Maybe she’s outside! With no hesitation, she walked to the roof with a slight skip in her steps. “This is so much easier to look for her rather than running around the whole school.” She grinned at herself with pride and started looking down. Now… where could she be? She frowned, thinking to herself. She must hate me right now for losing her! Just as she was about to give up, she saw two familiar figures out in the garden. She then squinted her eyes to get a better look at whom they were.

“Yata!” Kiseki exclaimed once she saw that she had finally found Akimi and punched the air. She hurried down the stairs with a satisfied smile on her face. “Maybe I can invite others for some bubble tea while I-” She stopped in her tracks with a horrified expression. “But I can’t go to her now! She’s talking with a cutie and I can’t ruin this for her!” She continued going down the stairs but with a slower pace. “Wait a minute! That ‘cutie’ was Kei! What if she doesn’t like flirts? I am so not going to let him have his fun with her! That inconsiderate jerk… He can’t seriously be hitting on a freshman! I mean that is pretty smart if they don’t know his reputation… He better not make Akimi-chan uncomfortable!” With a determined look on her face, Kiseki made her way to the garden.

Just as Kiseki was about to confront Kei, second thoughts slowly made their way to her head. Iie! I can’t do this. I must trust Akimi-chan! I’m sure she can defend herself or tell him off if she’s uncomfortable, right? I guess Kei can be her guide then, too. With a sigh, Kiseki walked away from the garden and went to the roof, greeting people and saying hi along the way. How dissapointing. With a pout, she plopped on a bench and opened her bento. Mou, I should get myself a boyfriend… She slowly ate her onigri as thoughts of being forever alone rushed through her head.

Baka! What are you doing? You should be down there mingling with the new people! Not moping around and thinking about how lonesome you are! Kiseki nodded, agreeing with her little conscience. BUT! After finishing your lunch of course! You can’t let these precious onigiris go to waste!

Yori got her books together after talking to the dark haired guy. Thankfully she got his name which was pleasantly much shorter than the alias 'dark haired guy'. She was getting a little exhausted by mentally referring to him as that. She tossed her bag over her shoulder, having not had the chance to give her name to him in return. He seemed to be in quite the rush. She exited the classroom, looking down at the bento in her hands. She really wasn't sure if she would see Yomi during lunch, but she kept the thought in mind to keep her spirits from falling too soon. She walked through the halls, and she couldn't help but see her sister and a boy getting friendly in 2C. Yomi's already making friends and here I am sulking and whining about how lonely I am..

She took the stairs that led to the roof and sighed to herself. Yomi was a lot better with people.. but that was obvious. She was cute, charming, and sweet. All the things Yori was terrible at being in front of other people. She opened the door that connected the inside of the school to the roof. She blinked when she noticed another girl was on the roof. It was.. the girl from class 2B, her class. The one that was hugging up on that Kou guy. She tilted her head. Why was she eating alone..? She seemed charismatic and bubbly enough, so why was she not with a group of friends?

Yori walked over hesitantly. She was alone, this girl was alone.. why not try and move past being separated from her sister.. That's what the teachers wanted, right? She rubbed the back of her neck, "I used to come sit up here last year with my sister, she ditched me for a guy.. mind if I sit with you?" She explained in a soft voice. It wasn't very enthusiastic, but she was trying. That alone was more than she'd done in class, "I'm Yori Ishida by the way."

Yori Ishida? Hmm… Kiseki thought for a while as the familiar name floated around her brain. Ah! I remember now! “Oh I remember you! Say, isn’t there another one of you? Twins! I love it! You guys are just so adorable! Man, I wish I had a twin but I already have enough hyper-active blondes running around the house. It’s just too much already, ya’ know? But it would be pretty fun to trick a few teachers once in a while…” A little skit of two of her selves played in Kiseki’s head before introducing herself to the girl.

“I’m Kiseki Okinawa by the -” ACHOO! Kiseki let out a rather high pithed sneeze and shook her head before opening her eyes. “Heh, someone’s probably talking about me. Hope they don’t wear my name out,” she chuckled. “And about that whole sister-ditched-for-a- guy- thing you mentioned, I can totally relate!... Ish. But anyways, my story was that I was supposed to give a new friend of mine- Akimi-chan- a tour but she’s currently occupied with Kei… No worries though! We’re all big girls so I’m sure she can fend for herself unless he just plans on chatting with her," she paused before remembering her plans this afternoon. "Ooh! We’re also going to go grab some bubble tea after school! You should definitely come and bring your sister along with some new friends any of you guys made. Matter of fact, let’s look for some new people in the cafeteria right now! Here, you can have some of my onigiris so they don’t go to waste and we can get things done much quicker! I mean, if that’s alright with you… Did you catch all that? I know I kinda talk fast sometimes.” She sheepishly grinned and offered her bento box to Yori.

Yori just stood there for a while before sitting down across from Kiseki. The girl went rambling on and most of her questions were yes or no, so she just had to nod her way through it. She waited until the girl grew quiet, her thoughts seeming to get occupied on something, "Yomi.. That's my sister's name.." She spoke again, seeing as she had the chance to for a moment, "Her eyes are blue and mine are violet.. It wouldn't work well for us."

Yori began eating when Kiseki began talking again, blinking a bit before laughing slightly, "Bless you." She smiled, handing her a tissue. It was a little easier talking to her, or er, listening? She wasn't really sure if this counted as a conversation or not, but she was going to pretend it did anyway. Then she crinkled her nose when Kiseki mentioned Kei. That was one guy she knew all too well. She yelled at him once for hitting on Yomi. She even punched him in the jaw. "He really can't be tamed can he..?" Yori asked facepalming. As long as he wasn't hitting on her sister though, Yori really didn't mind Kei's presence. "Bubble tea?" She asked, having gotten a little zoned out herself. She was still a little tired from getting no sleep the previous night, but her nap during the first few periods made up for it. "You're the first person I've talked to.. Yomi's the one good at making friends." She went wide eyed when Kiseki mentioned looking for new people, nodding her head hesitantly, "S-sure.." She closed her bento, seeing as she normally never ate it all at once. She nodded, taking the box and starting to eat one of the Onigiri. She'd ate them before, Yomi liked making food with cute little designs on it, and she wasn't sure if Kiseki made them herself, but she had to admit it was good, "Did you make these?"

The small boy ran up the stairs, careful not to drop the platter of sushi. , with Yuki right behind him. He was actually impressed she was able to keep up with him, not many people could. In fact, the only person who had beaten him in a race was Tanihara Kohei, the school's star athlete, and even that was only by a hair's breadth. Jin had gotten many offers for different sports but declined them all. He'd much rather sit at home with a good book then be classified as a jock.

As they neared the top of the stairs Jin let out a final burst of sped and threw open the door. What was behind the door however was a complete surprise. The door had opened to reveal a blonde and purple streak. A streak which Jin, of course, ran right into. He yelped in pain as his knee bounced off the concrete, his teary eyes just making out the image of a flying sushi tray. Using his inertia, the boy managed to catch the tray before everything fell out.

He quickly placed the tray on the ground and ran over to see who he had hit. Two girls laid on the ground in front of him. One of them the purple haired girl from earlier and the other..Kiseki! His face instantly became flushed with color. Along with it came a huge pressure of guilt. "Oh shit! Are you guys alright? I'm really sorry!"

Yori gasped out when she was ran into, and she winced when she hit the ground, only her palms and elbows skinned up. She managed to catch herself with her hands and landed on her butt. She opened her mouth to shout an angry array of curse words at him, but she decided to give him time to explain himself, "O-ow.." she looked over to her elbow, one was fine, just a little roughed up, but the other was starting to bleed a little. Nothing serious, but it definitely wasn't something she wanted to get on her uniform.

"I'm fine.. I don't know about Kiseki-chan.." she mumbled, pushing herself up on her feet. She crossed her arms, sleeves down to hide her own injuries. "...The bookworm I asked about class earlier..?" She asked in a blunt tone, tapping her chin trying to recollect his name, "Jin-san, right?" She asked rubbing her wrists. Her skin burnt from the connection with the concrete, but complaining wasn't in her nature.. She'd gotten in fights with both girls and boys before over Yomi. Not to say she always won, though most of the guys never fought back. The majority only got someone to restrain her or took the hits. Her eyes were slightly watery, but she held it in and refused to let herself cry. She had it under control, she just hoped it wasn't noticeable by looking in her eyes. Great. I've been in my first wreck and it's only day one. She noticed the other girl, then sighed to herself, dusting her clothes off before defiantly introducing herself properly to Jin and the unknown girl, "Ishida, Yori. Class 2B."

“So you’re the transfer student aren’t you?” Masato said to Kohei as he sat up.

Kohei was indeed handsome and muscular, not hyper skinny like most of the other boys around. He thought Kohei was pretty intriguing. It wasn’t everyday a popular boy was generally interested speaking in him. Kohei was new to the school but many students drew to him quickly because he was likable, talented, and humble.

“Yes, I’m from Nagasaki originally. But my family moved to Tokyo recently so here I am.” Kohei replied while somewhat nervously shifting his weight back and forth. “You look like you could use some fresh air, Okuda-san. Would you mind taking me up to the roof? I’ve never gone there before and I’d like to see the view.” Kohei asked. He realized that Masato looked similar to his father when he would drink and decided to step outside for fresh air. He wasn’t sure if Masato had been drinking or not recently but it was a good excuse for him to spend time getting to know Masato.

“Um… sure Tanihara-san. I don’t mind. Maybe the fresh air will wake me up some.” Masato replied and he began to stand up. The two began to walk out of the classroom and through the halls continuing their conversation. “You look very familiar… Tanihara-san but I’m sure we’ve never met right?” Masato asked.

“Ah… you might have seen me on TV before. I’ve been in the Olympics as a gymnast. Most people have the same feeling.” Kohei replied with a sheepish smile.

“Ahhh…. You won gold for Japan recently!! Gosh, you’re a celebrity! Shouldn’t you be at some fancy private school somewhere?” Masato exclaimed with the same whimsical expression as usual, however his eyes widened only slightly.

“Well… I’m just an average guy that happens to work really hard in gymnastics and got lucky that’s all. Besides this school has a great coach and gymnastic program.” Kohei began to blush a bit. “Besides, I actually feel a little nervous speaking with you. I don’t mean to say that you’re intimidating or anything like that. but… well there were a few times that I happened to attend an events that had actual geisha there and I was really nervous to speak with them. They were so elegant, cool, and composed in all their ways. I felt calm and excited at the same time when they were around. You… I don’t want to sound too weird but you kinda give me the same feeling for some reason.” Kohei began to sweat a little in his nervousness.

Masato at first looked a little confused at Kohei until he wrapped up his point. Then he began to smile smugly. “Well I am an artist. Perhaps that has something to do with it. Also, I do like Izumo no Okuni a lot. But she wasn’t a geisha she was the founder of Kabuki. Nonetheless she was elegant.” Masato began to love Kohei’s humble innocence.

“My mother is a geisha… She’s very elegant but it’s always different when she’s in her work persona. You slightly reminded me of her for some reason.” Kohei replied. “Look I’m sorry if that sounded really strange! Forget I said anything please…” Kohei added nervously.

“It’s quite alright Tanihara-san. I understand why you’d feel that way and it’s not weird at all to me.” Masato reassured Kohei. Kohei was a bit of a mystery to Masato. This guy couldn’t be interested in him in a romantic crush sort of way. He was most definitely straight right? Masato thought about his work in the host club, where he was considered a modern day commercial geisha of sorts. They did similar things outside of being artists, however Masato was indeed and artist as well. Perhaps this was the reason he gave Kohei the feeling of being around a geisha, a part of Japan’s “mistress culture”.

The two reached the roof of the school. There were several other students up there speaking and eating with one another.

Yuki Hayashi

Yuki and Jin were finally onto the roof top but Jin was running a little too fast and rammed into two girls. She noticed Jin looking at the blonde girl and blushing heavily... Yuki just smiled and thought that Jin could talk to her for a minute. 'I knew that he didn't have feelings for me...' That thought made Yuki a little upset but she just kept a smile on her face.

"Ishida, Yori. Class 2B."

She looked over to the girl with purple hair and knelt down to her. "I'm Yuki Hayashi, Class 1A. It's a pleasure too... Bump into you."

'fu*k Jin, your in hot water now! You just knocked the girl you've liked for years unconscious. That's a great way to break the ice.' His thoughts were broken by Yomi's voice. "Huh? Oh, yeah. I'm Jin. He managed to say, obviously distracted. Jin's gaze turned to Yuki, hoping that she didn't see what just happened. Jin swore he could see a glimmer of sadness shining in her eye. 'Hmm, I'll have to ask her if something's wrong later.' Using what little muscle he had,the small boy picked up Kiseki. She was actually lighter then her expected.

"I'm taking Kiseki-Chan to the infirmary. She hasn't woken up yet and I'm really worried. Yuki-Chan, Yori-San, see that giant track out there? That's where gym is." he turned to Yuki specifically. "I'm really, really sorry that I couldn't finish, or start for that matter, our tour. Maybe after school one day you and I could, I dunno, hang out? What am I saying? I've got to get to the infirmary!"

Jin speedwalked to the stairs just as two boys were coming up. [b]"Masato-San, excellent timing! Could you tell the gym teacher that Kiseki-Chan and I are in the infirmary? Thanks!"/b] Without waiting for answer, Jin swerved down the stairs towards the infirmary. A little blonde in tow.
