PERSONALITY:
Adele is a creature of charisma; a woman with a natural charm that only sometimes falls into the category of beguiling. Her confidence is intoxicating, and she has a way with pulling people into her world of glamour and glitz, inviting them onto stage and having them dance with her in the limelight. She knows how to speak, no doubt about that, and would make an excellent politician if she didn't have such an aversion to the current political space. Quite simply, she has a knack for winning people, for making them flock to her, and delight in her company, intimidating as it can sometimes be. There is something intoxicating about her, that makes people simultaneously eager and envious.
Pleasant personality aside, Adele is no foe to confrontation. She is fiercely opinionated, and isn't afraid to call out or lecture those she deems in need of such an education. She can place a sharp edge in her smile, a surprising wit flickering from her lips like flames of a fire, unapologetic in its tendency to burn.
She is social and vain, born for the limelight, but also excellent when it comes to creating relationships. Her friends are invaluable to her, and she is ferociously protective of them, and loves nothing more than late nights spent playing silly teen games, talking about crushes and consuming unhealthy amounts of sugary delectables. She gives surprisingly good advice, and certainly does not shy away from compliments, be it receiving or giving. She is very blunt in this sense, open to say what she is thinking; if that thought happens to be, "Woah, her eyeshadow is poppin'." Then so be it.
But she isn't always as kind as she would have you think. There is a sharp ambition to her, one that is always simmering beneath her seemingly serene surface. It is something she picked up from her father; a powerful acumen, a mind for business, and of building and burning bridges in the name of success. Her selfish streak is typically well-hidden however, for she also knows that image is everything, and one's reputation, however immaculate, is always susceptible to destruction. Her tactics are odd, in that she is both honest and manipulative, able to work behind the scenes but always playing fairly. Her moral compass has yet to twist beyond this idea, to skew away from fairness, although her father would prefer she let it bend sooner rather than later. Instead, she speaks directly. She approaches with vigour and purpose, and confronts problems directly. In the face of conflict, she attacks the issue head on, and either sorts it out, or acts as though she has it sorted when she doesn't.
This latter resolution is hardly effective, but Adele has a touch of irresponsibility to her character that she refuses to acknowledge. A perpetual fear of failure and/or rejection that keep her from committing to things that she isn't certain enough about. Her romantic relationships tend to be rocky for this very reason, as she tends to place her pride before her vulnerability. The bitterness leaks into her summery personality, the poisoned apple in an otherwise delightful fairytale, and although she tries her hardest to resist, sometimes her hunger proves simply to much for her. Even then, though, she'll smile and flatter, playing the part of perfection incarnate, even as the poison creeps ever closer to her heart.
