Name: Bambi Michelle Nicholson
Nickname: Normally, people just call her Bambi. Or 'Party Girl'. Sometimes 'Stoner'...just, if you do...don't call her it to her face.
Age: 22
Major: Photography
Sexuality: Heterosexual, but she's been known to 'experiment' when she's been drinking.
House: Zeta Nu Delta
Thoughts on being a Zeta: "Well, I've gotta be honest with you...anyone who tells you being a Zeta is a walk in the park, they're damn wrong. It takes balls to be a member of THIS house. And you need to be one of those girls that can take a lot of shit people will throw at you, and just get back up again and move on. Because people WILL give you shit. It's part of life. But on the upside, if you like parties, popularity, putting your place inside Fulton at risk on a daily basis and generally don't give a shit about anything that should be important to you, we're your girls."

Likes:
  • Parties - if there's one thing Bambi LOVES, it's a good party. And by good, she means totally fucking out of control, with police involvement and everything. And being the president of what is referred to as 'The Party House', she doesn't disappoint.
  • Music - this is one of her favourite things about parties...just having some AWESOME tunes playing that are so loud you can't hear yourself think. It seems to just put people in the mood for having a good time, which she likes.
  • Gaining new pledges - Rush Week is Bambi's FAVOURITE part of the academic year at Fulton, and when it comes to getting girls to pledge Zeta, she goes all out. And with how likeable she actually is, it's usually no trouble to get enough pledges.
  • Drugs - this is probably the only thing that Bambi does that not many people like about her. Not to say she's ADDICTED, as such...but at parties, she'll experiment with just about every drug anyone has brought, without a single thought of the consequences. She never seems to become dependant on it, though, which is a good thing. She just likes a pill or a line when she can.
  • Boys with dark hair - this is probably her biggest weakness when it comes to choosing a potential boyfriend, hook up, or just a friend. There's just something about dark hair that's ALWAYS attracted her, and continues to do so.
  • Flirting - although she's not TOO friendly in a flirting sense when sober, once she's had a drink she changes completely. And the thing she does most when she's drunk is flirt. Like, REALLY flirt. Th only downside to it for her is that she'll end up hooking up with a guy that night, and wake up and regret it in the morning.
  • People who have guts - Bambi has a LOT of respect for any girl or any guy she sees doing something risky, without care or just standing up to someone else instead of just taking shit and staying quiet about it. Probably because she has that trait, and doesn't really see many other people with the same trait in everyday life.
  • Boys - Bambi has a slight obsession with the opposite sex, to say the least. And, lucky for her, she gets some of the attention she gives them given back to her. Whether that's just because she organises good parties or not, she doesn't really know...but she doesn't care, either.
  • Masquerade parties - probably her favourite type of party, as she just loves the idea of nobody really knowing who they're talking to, kissing, or dancing with because their face is hidden by a mask. Although she doesn't get many chances to throw this type of party each year, she does her best to get one or two in, just for her benefit if nothing else. She also loves them because the masks and outfits can be GORGEOUS.

Dislikes:
  • Bitches - mainly the girls in the Alpha house are what Bambi means by this. Not one for conflict on most occasions, she doesn't appreciate the way they try to start a fight with everyone else in Fulton, and she just thinks they're immature and should shut the fuck up and grow up.
  • Plastic surgery - although an athiest, Bambi believes strongly in the fact that your body was made the way it was for a reason, and you should never change it. She has NEVER had any form of surgery done, and never plans to, with this reason being the major reason against it.
  • Too much sun - Bambi is a considerably pale-skinned girl, and desires to stay that way, meaning sun is an enemy. This is more from the fear of having a tan than having a sunburn, which sounds odd, but she just has a hatred for it and will try to keep herself pale.
  • Overplayed mainstream music - Bambi is the type of people some people can call a 'Hipster', meaning that if it's on the charts she probably won't like it. That being said, she DOES like SOME mainstream music...just not when the radio station's played it 500 times in a week and everyone in class spends their whole period talking about how great it is.
  • Boring people - to fit in with Ashleigh, you have to be able to keep her entertained. And if you can't, you might as well say goodbye before you say hello.
  • Rules - not that she follows them anyway, but one specific type of thing she has NEVER gotten or appreciated is any rules. They're just pointless to her.
  • Beer - although Bambi's a drinker, beer has NEVER been her thing. She'll do shots, vodka, fruity cocktail drinks, pretty much everything except beer.

Fears:
  • Losing her reputation - if there's one thing she fears most, it's not being the cool, calm and collected individual she is now in a few years time. Popularity is pretty damn important to her, and she'll do whatever she wants and whatever she can to make it so she stays like that.
  • Being kicked out of Fulton - this is something that she just can't bear to think about. She plans to stay until she graduates, and getting herself kicked out is a HUGE worry.

Personality: Bambi is the type of girl that you'd LOVE to have as your friend: she's got a big heart, she can make you laugh, she's cool, and she can make your night AMAZING. As one of the older girls, she's extremely mature for her age on most occasions, parties being the only exception to this rule. This is when she completely lets her hair down and just loses herself in the music and in the atmosphere.
Often thought of as having absolutely no cares in the world, she is always calm and never gets stressed or freaks out, even under all the pressure she is under being the president of the Zetas. This is a trait and lifestyle she likes to ancourage among the other girls in her house, as well as possible pledges on Rush Work, as she sees stress as one of the worst things in the world and things that absolutely NOTHING is worth the amounts of stress put on people to achieve it.
Bambi is an incredibly intelligent young woman, and she is proud of that, although not enough to want to show it off to everyone. She's pretty much as down to earth as they come, and she'll put others before herself usually. Although it can be hard sometimes, as there are some people in this world she just can't stand.
Always the first to begin downing shots at the bar or have a go at a new kind of drug in the bathroom, Bambi's also a complete daredevil. Normally more so when she's drunk, but she has her sober spontaneous moments, too, such as streaking through the grounds of Fulton a few years back for a dare, TP-ing a campus house with the rest of the Zetas when she was a Sophmore, and single-handedly defacing a newly-erected statue of a much-hated teacher without having ANYONE be aware she was the one who'd done it. She's one of the top troublemakers in Fulton Uni, and she's pretty sure that she will go down in the school's history.
Although she tries hard to be a good girl when she can, she always seems to stop herself and become one of the bad girls when drinking or at a party. This 'dark side' of her is often the thing that pushes her into hooking up when she's drunk, something she wishes she hadn't let herself do when she wakes up the next moring. She swears she'll never do it again, but then does the exact same thing the next time she goes out...which is the way the vicious cycle goes.

History:Bambi's birth mother had her when she had just turned seventeen, and was going through a particularly rough patch in her life, so because of this and because of the fact she did not want Bambi going into care, for the first few years of her life she was mostly raised by her mother's best friend. Aside from this minor hiccup at the beginning of her life, she lived a particularly good life, slowly visiting her mother more and more as the years got on and she got better at being able to raise a child, and then eventually moving back home with her when she was about to turn three.
Growing up, Bambi had ALWAYS adored her mother...her protective side, her carefree nature, and most importantly, all the love she recieved from her each and every time she visited and which was given constantly when she moved back home. And when she started school, she would spend her day bragging about how cool of a mummy she had, and how they did EVERYTHING together and how lucky she was.
One thing Bambi NEVER tried to make herself see is the bad side of a person...she would ALWAYS look for the good. Which, needless to say, sometimes did more harm than good. But anytime someone would hurt her, she would simply get over it, get back up again, and move on. Which has been her life motto and, to her, the most important life lesson around.
Because of her positive upbringing, Bambi became a well-rounded child, and then a well-rounded teenager, often excelling in everything she did and never complaining about anything. This helped her make a lot of friends with ease, cope with most things she was put through, and enabled her to be a successful and pleasant girl with her feet planted firmly on the ground.
It was just after her fifteenth birthday that she became interested in parties, and, with her mother's permission, would spend many nights out in town with her friends and sleep over at their houses. Whereas with most parents who would say no and cause their children to disobey them, Bambi's mother would say yes, and this is possibly why she can have a good night without going completely over the top. Soon after, she became introduced to drugs, and found that she had the ability to take them whenever she wanted yet not face an addiction because of a level of tolerance that she had. This was beneficial to her as it meant she could let go and it would not take a massive toll on her body like with most.
When it came to enrolling in Fulton and pledging into a house, she immediately pledged Zeta and has NEVER regretted the decision to do so. With her ability to organise AMAZING parties, to not stress out about anything, and her daring nature and willingness to do just about anything without being scared to do so awarded her the title of President of the Zetas. Mission accomplished.

Juliet VanCamp

Carefully applying yet more lipgloss to her lips while looking into the little compact mirror she held in her other hand, Juliet smoothly ducked under the arm of a young boy - possibly a pledge, but she had no idea - into the Auditorium. Her body brushed against his slightly and she quickly flinched away, mouthing the word "Ew" without actually saying it aloud, but she didn't think he minded. Judging from his expression, anyway. He was probably just pleased he got to touch her on his first day. And, she had to admit...he wasn't that bad looking. So she gave him a small, cheeky smile, flicked her hair over her shoulder and carried on. Juliet had no reason to say thankyou - as far as she was concerned, she deserved this kind of treatment - but, again...something this boy didn't seem to take any notice of.
She had previously been smiling, but that smile wilted when she looked around the auditorium and saw it's lack of people she associated with. Was she really the first Alpha here? And where were all the Betas? Sigmas?
The last thought stopped her, and she quickly pushed it to the back of her mind. "You know Natalie told you to stay away from any Sigma boys. It'll ruin you." She muttered quietly to herself, as she made her way up the steps towards the back of the Auditorium. She'd remembered Natalie's instructions well...she just wasn't sure she wanted to follow them. In all honesty, she preferred the Sigmas to the Betas, in some ways. For the first thing, those boys liked to party. And sex. They liked sex. So it was no suprise they were her go-to-guys for that kind of thing. There were a few Beta guys that interested her - mainly Jacob, their President - but all in all, she preferred the Sigmas. They were just...bad, for lack of a better description.
But still. None of them were here yet. She was alone for now.
"Fun times..." She remarked with a small huff, a sarcastic tone to her voice, and took her seat, tossing her small pink bag down onto the seat next to her; after all, there was no way she was putting it down on the floor.

Ashleigh Jade Foster

Walking through the campus towards the Auditorium, Train's '50 Ways To Say Goodbye' playing from her earphones into her head, Ashleigh Jade smiled slightly to herself. Looking around, she wasn't as nervous as she'd been before the academic year started anymore. Maybe this year wouldn't be so bad after all...she would have to make sure she avoided Natalie Greyson, Juliet VanCamp and the rest of the Alphas, and actually, her Sophomore year could be kind of fun. She had a whole year of time with her best friends (her Theta Chi sisters), her big brother Jace, and possibly maybe even a boy or two. Okay, two was probably pushing it, but...one, she hoped. She hadn't really had any male attention beforehand...or at least, anything she currently knew about, and she was ready to make it happen this year. She just needed to get over the shyness.
She had one particular guy in mind, but...judging from their housing differences and just their general personality contrasts, she doubted he'd ever have any feelings for her. So she'd probably just have to see where this year took her before she made any major decisions.
It wasn't as if she was saying she would settle for anyone - after all, if she did get a boyfriend, she'd have to recieve a major change to her body. And she wanted the right person. There was no settling involved when it came to that.
Quickly being pulled away from her thoughts, she accidentally bumped into someone and dropped her bag onto the floor, the entire contents spilling out and covering the floor. With the constant stimulation of her mind combined with the constant stream of music she'd been hearing, she'd completely forgotten to watch out for passers by.
"S-s-sorry..." She squeaked, quickly gathering her things and looking back up, only to be pleasantly suprised by the floppy blonde hair and warm smile of her older brother Jace Foster. "Oh...it's you. In that case, I'm so not sorry." She teased, a bright smile creeping onto her face.
Jace laughed softly, wrapping his arm around his younger sister's shoulders and pulling her towards the door of the Auditorium.
"C'mon, Barbie...another school year awaits..." He grinned, waving towards some of his friends as he led his baby sister over.
"I actually prefer to be referred to as Polly Pocket. Barbie's just so...mainstream." Ashleigh's true self was beginning to come out now, and she, for the first time this year, felt completely comfortable.
"Barbie's clothes are harder to get off, too..." Jace winked, and Ashleigh immediately thumped him in the arm.
"Hey!" She squeaked, pouting slightly. "That's just so uncalled for. You're my brother. You're supposed to stick up for my life choices...not ridicule them in front of me."
"Nah...I'm pretty sure it's the last one I'm supposed to do." Jace said with a smile, opening the door to the Auditorium.

Bambi Michelle Nicholson

The dark bags underneath Bambi's eyes had been thankfully easy enough to cover with makeup, although it took her a while to do so. They actually weren't too bad, to be honest...she'd been a lot worse many times before. But she still felt a little shitty - clearly, last night wasn't a good night for a party - and because of that, she just wasn't in a great mood. Sitting at the front of the Auditorium, arms crossed and surveying the crowd of people who were already here, she just wanted to be back in bed. She liked sleep. She loved rushing week, however, so it was all worth it. It would just take her a little time to fully wake herself up, that's all.
"And here's to another year of getting completely shitfaced, making memories and going down in Fulton history." She said quietly to herself, a small smile on her face, and put her earphones in, shoving her iPod into her pocket.
