|{Quirks || Habits || Oddities}|

♣ Miles bites his nails a lot more than he should; when he’s bored, when he’s nervous, when’s concentrating on something. His nails don’t look like they’ve been chewed because he typically lets them grow out a little before he starts biting down on them. ♣ When Miles is zoned out and has his mind elsewhere, which is a quirk within itself, he typically pulls on his ear. He will generally be playing with his ear lobe but can sometimes be seen tugging on the cartilage as well. ♣ Miles blanks, a lot. He’s often off in some imaginary world in his own head and can actually zone out more easily than one can think. ♣ Doodling is something he enjoys doing when he should be concentrating on something else. It helps him to think. It allows him to capture what is going on in his surroundings by putting it down on paper. ♣ Miles has a nervous habit of rubbing his hands against his jeans until he can feel the friction from it. He started doing this as a child when his hands would get a little sweaty but it was a habit that grew on him. ♣ Candy is sort of Miles’ thing. He often has a mint in his mouth that he tosses around with his tongue. He doesn’t chew gum often because he’s in the lab a lot and can’t be chewing gum for safety purposes but mints are his thing.

{Dislikes}

• Sushi • Tea • Loud chewing • Bad and/or slow drivers • Heavy Metal music • Overly energetic people • Mornings • Advertisements (seriously, Miles would rather pay a monthly subscription to anything to avoid ads) • Bright colors • Cats

{Greatest Fears}

• Death. And it’s funny to say for someone who hopes to be a forensic scientist, where he will encounter death every day. But there is something about the inevitable unknown that terrifies him. Perhaps it be because he witnessed it firsthand as a young teen, or maybe it be because he knows that it happens to everyone – but there is something about death that will forever haunt his thoughts. • Clowns and dolls are something most people should be afraid of in Miles’ opinion. They’re creepy looking and that’s pretty much it. • Heights are something that many people are afraid of and it’s a very rational fear. But the thing about height that scares Miles the most is not how far off the ground it is but rather the urges he gets to go off the edge when he’s up that high. It’s those types of thoughts that terrify him, but he’d never say. • The sound of a whip or belt cracking is something that will freeze Miles in his shoes. A familiar sound that he heard far too often as a young boy will always haunt him and even now as an adult with his failure of a father far from him, he will forever be terrified of the sound.

{Greatest Joys}

• Rainy days are something that Miles takes a lot of joy in. The pitter patter of rainfall on the roof while he lays in bed is something soothing to him. Even thunderstorms calm him; it’s something about the rain – the way, perhaps, that when the trees shake and wind whistles, it’s washing away the negatives and getting ready for the positives. The same can go about snowfall, the beauty of it all is something that keeps him from getting too anxious about life. • The sense of safety is something that he values more than most people would. And perhaps that is why rainy days are his favorite things, because even after every storm, things always end up okay eventually. His father was a storm in his life and after he went to prison, the sun came out. His sense of safety was somewhat restored as Miles had gone away to school and his family moved on from the devastating events of the past. • Most people would be afraid of sharks, but there is something about them that intrigues Miles. They are seen as beasts of the sea but in reality it is humans that are the beasts. Sharks are powerful, they’ve got a tough exterior that is hard to break and in a way Miles is envious of that. He sees them as beautiful, magnificent creatures and he loves to go out to sea whenever he can to explore and swim with them to analyze them, so much so that he’s considered a change in major often. • His mother is his life. His mother is a prize to him, a goddess, his blood line that even if she veins were to dry out, he’d bleed just to save her. He looks up to his mother, he is proud of his mother, Miles idolizes his mother. The woman has dealt with so much hurt, so much anger, so much pain and she still goes on day by day with a smile on her face. She is strong and he has never been as proud of someone as he is of her.

{Life Philosophy}

“Whatever you are, be a good one.” –Abraham Lincoln

“My mom used to tell me this every day before I went to school. She’d look at me in the eyes with a smile on her face and she’d say ‘Mi’ That’s what she’d call me. She’s say, ‘Mi, whatever you’re going to be today, be the best you can be at it.’ I learned to live by my mother’s philosophy and I made it my own. I made it my own philosophy. I don’t know what I’ll be tomorrow, or even tonight, but I know that whatever it is, I’ll be the best I can be at it.”

{Bad Personality Traits}

• Arrogant • Blunt • Impulsive • Sarcastic • Overprotective • Private • Stubborn • Patronizing • Cynical • Detached

{Personality}

Miles is fairly charismatic when it comes to him getting what he wants. He knows how to persuade people and he know how to get under their skin. Whether it be swaying others into doing what he wants, or swaying them into the opposite direction, Miles often knows just what to say and how in order to push his own ideas onto others. Most would call this manipulative, Miles likes to call it persuasion. However, his charisma goes far beyond manipulation. He’s an attractive kid, and that’s undeniable. He has his way with words in more than just one way. He very seldom gets denied by a love interest and he takes pride in that. His ego is the size of a hot air balloon and it doesn’t seem to get any smaller. Miles knows how to win a girls heart – and more often than not he does. He’s very flirtatious and is often known as a player among former loves. Although he’s truly never without a girlfriend, or a love interest, Miles likes to think that’s he’s trustworthy and reliable. Perhaps in the work industry, but not so much amongst the girls.

His charming good looks and flirtatious ways cause for a lot more than an inflated ego – as a matter of fact, Miles is perhaps nothing short of an arrogant asshole. He hides behind his tough exterior and doesn’t let anyone see the crackling of his heart deep within his chest. Miles often places himself on a pedestal and likes to think he knows all and is better than all. Though, this certainly isn’t the case. He portrays himself as arrogant in order to dilute the idea that he is really a kind hearted soul deep down. Sometimes, Miles even scares himself though. He knows that in his younger years he was much more of a good kid, but growing up with a father like his scarred him. It changed him for the worse. Miles vowed to become nothing like his father.

Although Milles tends to use his looks more than anything else, that doesn’t mean he isn’t a bright kid. He thrives in his studies and has good grades, but he prefers to show off his bad boy exterior than his good grades. Miles enjoys a good party, and is often making light of any situation. He enjoys joking around and getting drunk just to have fun, but catch him on the wrong day and you’re in for a real treat. He’s got a short fuse and can often get aggressive fairly quickly. He often retorts to violence if pushed too far. Miles especially gets aggressive when one of his close loved one’s gets put in the line of fire. He’s extremely protective of those he loves, and that’s very few.

He’s been forced to work hard for where he’s ended up. Without the help of his father and with a mother who had a very low income, getting to college without collecting a substantial debt was extremely difficult but being headstrong the way he is, Miles was able to get to school and get a good job outside of school to pay off his tuition, along with the help of financial aid and scholarships. Miles isn’t the type of guy to be asking for help however, and even if he were struggling at the moment with money, odds are he’d keep it to himself – just as he does most things. Miles was never the type to constantly express his emotions or thoughts with others. He never thoughts other people cared. He never shared his concerns with his mother because he never wanted to worry her – the woman’s had enough to worry about, it was about time she had the opportunity to live a stress-free life.

All in all, Miles struggles to find who he really is. He plays the part of the asshole, the arrogant kid who puts himself before anyone else and although the may be the case in more cases than not, Miles has his soft spots – it just takes a while to dig through the rough ones.

{History}

From a young age, Miles always remembers his family being somewhat broken. Before they moved to America, his father was a popular man back in Greece, he was an artist and made substantial amounts of money for every piece of work sold. They lived a wealthy life which led to the arrogance that Miles may have very well inherited. Fame got to his father and his family and it led to trouble in paradise. Miles’ father, Dimitri, became an alcoholic and soon after began reigning rampage upon his own family. When Miles was just 5 years old, the family moved to America because the Ganas family felt that Greece was no longer the place for them. Though there was no more fame, there was still wealth. The Ganas lived a lavish life for quite some time until Dimitri began drinking again – with the addition to gambling.

Eventually, the money drained and Dimitri lost his job – no longer signed to an agency – and money was becoming an issue. Dimitri and his wife, Monika, had basic office jobs that just weren’t bringing in enough money. Dimitri became an angry man, often spending each paycheck on more alcohol and more bets. Monika and Dimitri fought often and soon enough, young Miles and Grace were caught in the middle of the rampage. Dimitri became violent towards his family and very controlling. He would beat his wife and then his kids. He became a roaring drunk that nobody ever wanted to deal with. Monika feared for the life of her and her children but was always too afraid to leave. She’d often send the kids away to the neighbor’s house or a friend’s house in hopes to get them away, but that would never last long enough. Soon enough, Dimitri wouldn’t let the kids out of the house at all unless they were headed to school.

Back in Greece, Dimitri had no more family other than his elderly mother and Monika had family in Italy but was not permitted to see them by overbearing Dimitri. It had been many years since she’s seen her family, and not once had Monika’s family seen her daughter Grace since they moved to America before she was born. Unfortunately, they never got to meet Grace. One drunken night, Dimitri came home after losing a bet. He held a beer bottle in his hand as he walked into his house, loudly crashing into furniture. When his wife attempted to quiet him down as not to wake the kids, he beat her until she fell over, causing her to hit her head on the side of a coffee table, knocking her unconscious. Young Miles came rushing downstairs to see the commotion that had startled him awake to see his father drunkenly attempting to poise himself and his mother on the ground. Miles rushed to her aid but was then taken into the clutch of his heavy handed father who began beating him as well.

The events of the night was awful to begin with but once Grace came sleepily trotted down the stairs right into the holds of her father, Miles knew that all hell was going to break loose. Grace began crying upon seeing the bruises and welts on her brother and mother. Miles tried to quiet her down so that his father wouldn’t hurt her but he was rendered helpless when his father took the young girl by the neck and started to push her around, smacking her with his heavy hands. Soon the chaos would end. With one last push of the young girl against the fireplace and a beer bottle being thrown, the young girl fell to her death. Miles ran to her side quickly, attempting to breathe life back into her. Neighbors who heard the ruckus occurring had altered police. But with no amount of help did the girl come back.

Dimitri ended up in jail, Monika and he divorced legally and Monika has moved back to Italy with her family while Miles is in college.

{Thoughts on Greek Life}

“Greek life? I’m literally living it.”

Partying is basically Miles’ life. He does it to escape his thoughts, his past. He doesn’t quite realize the road it’s taking him down but right now he’s probably too intoxicated to care. His personality it a perfect fit for the Sigma Chi Delta house and he wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. And while partying, Miles always keeps an eye out for the Zeta house girls, there are a few he wouldn’t mind getting to know personally.

{Plans After College}

“Who the fuck knows? I’m just hoping I don’t end up homeless and hungry. [laughs] In all honesty, I’ve been doing an internship in the crime lab downtown and I’m hoping for a position once I’m out of here.”

Currently studying forensic science with a minor in criminology, Miles plans to work with local crime scene investigators to become a forensic scientist.

{Build}

6’0 | Slim but athletic build.

{Eye/Hair Color}

Outer circle of a dark blue with a sea foam green in the middle.

{Distinguishing Marks}

“I live my life with a lot of scars from my past to remind me how much I’ve grown and to remind me what not to become.”

Miles has many diagonal scars running across his back, arms and legs. He has burns and has smaller scars on his chest, all from where his father use to hit him.

Miles also has several tattoos. His first tattoo is of a tribal hammerhead shark that covers most of his back that he got because of his love of sharks firstly, and his want to cover his scars secondly. His second tattoo is a compass on the inside of his left forearm. His third tattoo is a celtic sun on the back of his left calf. Miles also has a tattoo on his right arm of two simple black bands around his forearm that signifies the death of his sister and the love of his mother.

{Style}

Miles has the type of style that your average guy would have in the sense that he’s either dressed down or dressed casual. He doesn’t really dress up, although he does wear a button up, tie and khakis under his lab coat while he’s in class on presentation days. Miles can be often seen in something as causal as jeans and a t-shirt, that can be seen here and here, but can also be seen in something casual such as, this or this

The campus was alive with excitement, anxiety, nerves, and anticipation. A new school year had begun the second students began moving back onto campus, but now, it finally seemed to hit them. For some, it was their final year at the beloved Fulton University, one of the top universities in the country. For others, it was their first year. Either way, there was a sort of buzz all around campus, a tingle each and every student felt as they greeted this year of opportunities and adventure. And what better way to start it all off than with the one thing on everybody's mind - Rush Week. Granted, these would only be the preliminary rounds, but who knows what could happen on the very first day...

As the track slowly moved to its conclusion and after receiving a nod from one of her favorite radio partners, Naomi officially turned the dial for the sound down, speaking into her microphone clearly with her ever present and rich British lilt. "That was 2 On by Tinashe, the best song of Summer 2014. You heard it here at Fulton U Hot 103.4." Ronnie, or Ronald when he was in their political science class with Dr. Skarsgaard who truly did not care for pleasantries or students, much less, grinned at her making a face at him for pressing one of the controls, which caused a squelching sound appear just after she finished her sentence. He played too much sometimes and she had half the mind to reach over the table of controls that separated them just to swat him on the head, but opted against it. She had to go soon anyway. She rolled her eyes at him before continuing, "This is your girl Nomi, NomiIzMe, and I'm about to turn everything over to my co-host, RonnieB. Don't get forget to holla at your girl at the beautiful Zeta Nu Delta House stand at the 2014 Fulton University Activities Fair. Hope to see you all there." With a mock salute and her favorite mix of India Arie and a beat from DJ Mustard, Naomi spelled her own exit and turned everything over to Ronnie, nodding to him as she set down her headset before exiting the large recording area.

Once outside in the busy hallway, she hoisted her bag over her shoulder and made her way through the crowd, the gold of her Zeta Nu Delta custom-made bracelet catching a glint from the sun, which peeked in through the barely closed blinds of one of the hallway windows. Smirking to herself as she saw a few noticeable freshmen males whispering to themselves and glancing over at her, she twirled a few strands of hair with her pointer finger, shooting them a sultry grin accompanied by a wink before turning the corner. The move was harmless and judging by an exclamation followed by a quiet roar of excitement from where they had, it had the desired effect. She didn't mess around with freshmen guys and never would, but it definitely was fun toying with them. Not that she would ever lead them on or anything of that nature, but flirting was harmless. Besides, she wouldn't be a true Zeta if she didn't have a bit of a flirt in her. A more genuine smile flitted across her face at the thought of her girls and without hesitation, Naomi whipped out her phone to text them just as she pulled into one of the many bathrooms on the first floor to simply check on her image.

To: Zoey, Amelia, Sierra
Omw 2 the booth. 1 of u better b there

Naomi wasn't particularly worried about any of the girls showing up late, she decided, as the text was sent. She had already specified that one of the other sophomores would set up with some of the baked goods Naomi had made the night before. She slid her phone into her back pocket before primping her hair. She had chosen one of her more fun outfits for the day. It was eye-catching enough to remind everyone that she was a fashionable woman, but simple enough to not do too much in. Naomi could be a lot of things, but she wasn't that much of a show-off. Besides, that tomboyish edge was her thing and she always had to make sure it was on point. After reapplying the natural-looking shade of pink lip gloss on her lips and that her hair was still on point, she gave herself one more appraisal before leaving the bathroom and heading out to one of the larger grassy areas of Fulton University, where the Activities Fair was to take place. Every year, the location changed and she actually preferred the area they chose for this year. It was spacious and open, and left room for some of the campus' more physically active organizations to show off. It was like a tame Zeta/Sigma party, except without the booze and heavy grinding. Just a paid DJ and everyone weaning out their favorites.

Once outside, it didn't take her long to get to her booth, which was closer to the Sigma table. She frowned a bit when she didn't see Miles yet and decided to find her favorite Sigma, setting her bag down beside her chosen chair and taking a seat. Folding one smooth leg over the other, she grinned at the Zeta who had watched the table in her absence before pulling out her phone to text Miles and her other best friend.

To: Miles
Slacking on your pres duties?

To: Sam

Kyle groaned into his pillow as he felt the sheets of his bed being pulled off of him. He was awake now, the light brightly shining in through the window blinds. His head felt heavy as he lifted it; the hangover was minimal compared to other ones he'd suffered. Turning to the beautiful brunette beside him, hogging all the blankets, nudged her slightly.

"Grace," he cooed. She stirred slightly. Shrugging to himself, he laid back and stared at the fan on his ceiling slightly whirring as it blew over them. This was a common occurrence, Grace in his bed, and he of course did not mind it. He couldn't remember when it had began but it hadn't ended yet. Although the two seem unlikely of a pair, he's found a way to get along with the princess. Maybe it's the sex. Probably. Still, there was some sort of a friendship that had grown between the two that he couldn't begin to explain.

Besides the fact that Kyle wasn't typically one for relationships, the two have never considered dating. In fact, they specifically find themselves in Kyle's bed because Grace has a status to upkeep. Party boys like himself don't fit nicely into a classy girl's world, even if the two end up drunk at the same parties and walking home together often. Grace's job as an Alpha is to mainly date Betas, and Kyle has no problem with this. In fact, he enjoys their weird times together, how could he not?

He glanced over at the clock, 11:19. FUCK. He probably should've been setting up the activities booth about 20 minutes ago. The other guys had probably started without him but he'd get shit from Miles about it later. Speaking of which, Grace probably had some plans to be ordered around by Queen Elysia. On top of that he'd made some plans with the cute freshman girl he'd met the day before.

Quickly getting up he stumbled around the room grabbing clothes to throw on. "Grace!" he said, sort of a loud whisper. She mumbled a bit, so he threw a pillow at her head. "Hey!.." she snapped, "what do you want? it's so early.." and burried herself deeper.

"It's 11:23." he answered, slipping on his shoes and ruffling his hair in the mirror. It was messy but not very dirty. Kind of a sexy bed-head type, luckily for him. "You should probably hurry if you don't want to be late," he suggested, "the guys will probably all be heading over soon but if you wanna make it on time I'd take the window." He laughed a little, trying to imagine her scaling down the side of the house in heels. "Just use the ledges as steps ok? be careful." If she was being sassy, he ignored it and walked over to kiss her goodbye. He kissed her quickly and gave her a sly smile, "Good luck," he chuckled as he left the room, "I'll text you later."

He ran into the bathroom to quickly brush his teeth, and check himself in the mirror one more time. He knew he looked fine, but it was a nice reassurance. Pulling his phone out of his pocket he checked the time again. 11:30. Just in time to meet Karma downstairs.

He noticed a text from miles;
Are you at the booth?

He responded;
Omw now

Coming down the stairs he found that she'd made her way to the house easily enough, and had already caught the attention of his brothers. She was talking with Javi, a sophomore photography major. Kyle didn't know too much about him but he seemed like a pretty good guy. On the other hand, Sean, who was drooling over her from the living room, was a bit of a sleaze sometimes. Kyle wouldn't really be one to judge though.

He sauntered over to the two, Karma's backside to him, which in its respect looked very nice. She'd told him when they met that she was a model, and he could see why. He found her cluelessness a little funny though, she had to know tons of boys fawned over her constantly. It'd be ridiculous to not notice after two approached her in the first minute she stepped into the house. He smirked when he saw her, he'd always had a thing for blondes. And brunettes. And definitely red heads. Girls with hair really.

He slid in beside her, placing his hand gently on the back of her shirt, careful not to touch skin. He liked to be a little gentlemanly. "Morning Javi," he greeted, his voice smooth and deep. He then turned to Karma, "and morning to you as well, gorgeous," he slid her a sly smile. "Sorry to interrupt, but we're a little late." Javi nodded curtly and moved aside for them to go. He heard Sean mutter, "Figures she came for Kyle.."
He smiled at that, and raised an eyebrow at Karma, "Ready, darling?"

Naomi had to roll her eyes as Jack left because, as usual, he just had to have the last word. "Prick," she found herself grumbling as she found herself much too focused on the back of his head, but it was loud enough for Zoey to hear. A few of the other Zetas told her they were going back to the house to get other things and Naomi smiled them off, twirling a few curls in her fingers. She had just reached over to snatch up the half-eaten cookie Jack had placed back down on their table when her phone pinged at receiving a text. Tossing the soiled food away, she pulled her phone out and smirked at the text from Miles, rolling her eyes. "I'm beginning to think it's a Sigma thing, being late and all," she told Zoey just as two girls who were obviously freshmen came over.

"Hi, I'm Danielle. And that's Katy. You're from the radio, right?" The redhead said and her blonde friend waved, taking in the assortment of foods, which had actually warranted them getting an extra table. "Yep, NomiIzMe, but you can call me Naomi. I'm the president of the beautiful Zetas of Zeta Nu Delta." The girls beamed down at Naomi's warm smile, which was definitely brighter than the earlier reserved smirk of contempt she had reserved for Jack when they were in public. It was brighter and friendly, a mix of sweetness concealing devilish intent and a bit of the Zeta signature. 'Cool, my sister was a Zeta. Class of 2008." Danielle exclaimed and Naomi nodded with a brighter smile. "Then that already makes you an honorary little sister. Before you eat anything, you both have to do one Jell-O-shot and post a pic of yourselves with at least one Zeta on all of your social media sites." Naomi had purposefully chosen their entrees as items to party in. This wasn't a tea party, this was an Activities Fair. There would be something from every sorority and there was also a big party afterwards. She wasn't trying to be unfair and disallow the freshmen from experiencing the wholeness of their Rush Week. The two girls gave each other an excited look before each taking a shot, which Naomi was quick to replace, and downing it at the same time. The Zeta booth roared with excitement and to her surprise, Danielle had been the first to whip out her phone and posed somewhat over the booth with Naomi and her friend. Grinning, Naomi smooched the redhead's cheek, already liking her. "Don't forget to check out all the other booths. And don't forget about us for Saturday night." While there was a rivalry between all of the Greek organizations, Naomi made it a point for every freshman to check out all of the booths. Not because she was trying to win brownie points or a good Samaritan award, but because it was fair. A guy might find he likes partying just as much as every other Sigma, but felt more at home with people who were as studious him, like with the Kappas. Why should anyone force their sorority on someone without giving them a chance to look at all their options?

She still needed to work out the logistics with Miles, but she had plans for Saturday for both the Sigmas and the Zetas and it was to be off campus. No huge dinner party or spa date like the Alphas typically threw, or some guys' night like the Betas, but definitely something fun. She was in the middle of texting one of her girls when she heard a familiar voice. ”Want to kill me now or would you like to wait for after the fair?” Her smile was wide and toothy and Naomi rushed from her side of the booth to throw herself at the Sigma president, arms wrapped tightly around him despite seeing him just a few days ago and her feet leaving the ground for only a few seconds. She giggled a bit before pulling away, grinning up at Miles as she replied, "If I kill you, who else is gonna give me piggy back rides, love?" She added a wink for good measure before seeing her second favorite sorority booth being set up, and glanced back at Zoey and Miles. "Be right back."

On her way, she had glanced back over at Elysia to see the Alphas adding more tables to their side and had to smile, a giggle bursting past her lips. Elysia didn't really think this was a banquet, right? It was nearly 94 degrees outside, she had her girls out in blazers and ridiculously high heels, and they were set up like they were having a luncheon with the first lady of Fulton U? Who the hell did the Alpha president think she needed to impress? Obama? She shook her head and when she met Elysia's gaze, she offered the Alpha president a mock salute. For a second, she paused by the Betas tent before reaching over the booth and pulling a water bottle out of one of the coolers. A sophomore Beta was quick to complain, but she shot him a look before glancing at Phillips and Jack and said sweetly, "Thanks, boys. Hi, Benny," with the last part being directed at Bennett. Not sparing Jack another glance, Naomi waltzed over to the Theta booth, hips swaying in their naturally entrancing way as if on a rhythm that only she could feel. She glanced at her phone again when it alerted her to another text and hurried to send a quick response just as she reached the Thetas.

To: Karma
Np :D Ur perfect n ur gonna do fine. Just check out evry 1. They're gonna luv u

"Well, if it isn't my second favorite group of ladies," she exclaimed upon her arrival, making sure to smile especially brightly for Poppy. A fellow Junior, Lianne, gave her a mock look of contempt. Lianne and Naomi had connected freshman year and while they weren't besties, like with Poppy, the two were still extremely close and seemed to always joke with each other. Lianne had been perfect from day one; she was the current student body president, captain of the volleyball team Naomi played on, and a political science major with dreams of someday joining the UN. And with the same amount of sass that defined Naomi. "You're still a traitor." Naomi only preened. "And you still love me, traitor and all," she replied smartly and though the brunette rolled her eyes, she hugged the Zeta anyway and the others, particularly Giselle who also offered a wink, waved and greeted her. Finally, Naomi's gaze specifically on Poppy, whom she was quick to hug. "I couldn't go the day without hugging my favorite Theta, now could I?"

Zoey shook her head but couldn't stop herself from grinning when Naomi referenced how Sam would have to make it up to her later. She was definitely right about that. Zoey's mood wasn't easily dampened, and Sam forgetting to wake her up on time wasn't enough to ruin her day, but it had offset her vibes. Although it would only take seeing his adorable face for a second for her to forgive him, she was getting impatient. He hadn't even responded to her text, nonetheless shown his face yet this morning.

It shouldn't have surprised her when the Beta boys set up camp only a few feet away from the Zeta booth, despite an excessive amount of open space elsewhere. Just like the Alphas, the brother house had to make sure all eyes were on them. In one way, that wasn't horrible - nearly every member of the fraternity was easy on the eyes, but that didn't combat their distasteful personalities. There was no better person to represent the Beta guys than Jack Reynolds himself; the most arrogant and entitled smart ass of them all. As if on cue, the President approached the Zeta booth and didn't waste a moment before unleashing a few jabs at Naomi. They only evoked an eye roll from Zoey, who knew well enough that the back-and-forth digs shared between the two house leaders had more emotions than cattiness behind them. No one else would know enough to sense the sexual tension between the pair (yet, at least) but Zoey had gotten the secret out of Naomi last year. Naomi was her best friend, which meant that Zoey wanted the best for her, and Jack Reynolds certainly was not the best. However, she knew that what the two had wasn't anything serious as of now, and that meant that she didn't feel the need to put a stop to it. Naomi knew better than anyone what Jack's true colors looked like. She would know better than to fall for someone like him.

As Naomi got up and spoke told Jack to excuse himself, she turned her head backwards, scanning the small group of Zeta girls who were setting things up. She couldn't see Amelia and Sierra, which certainly surprised her, as they were two of her favorite Zeta pledges from last year. If Jack hadn't left with a parting cheap-shot to her, she would have inquired about their whereabouts with Naomi. His words caught her off guard though, and she was just happy that Sam wasn't there to hear it. Not only did she know it would have pissed him off, but she also had a feeling that he would have tried to pick a fight with Jack over it, and that wasn't something she wanted to deal with. She had slept with Jack during their freshman year rush week. He was cute, she was drunk, and it just kind of happened. Later she would find out that it was part of a hazing ritual that the Betas encouraged back then, but in the moment, she probably wouldn't have cared even if she knew. She wasn't embarrassed for having slept with him for a couple of reasons. One, he was undeniably attractive. Two, she was wasted, and three, she didn't know how annoying he was at the time. Naomi couldn't use reason three to justify whatever she and Jack were doing.

She nodded in agreement when Naomi muttered something about him being a prick. "Keep that in mind when you consider sneaking off with him tonight after the Jamboree," she said in an equally hushed tone. She was serious but spoke lightly because again, she didn't see Jack as being a big problem right now. She hoped that Naomi still had enough sense to just keep their relationship in bed.

When Miles approached, Zoey smiled softly in acknowledgment but wasn't nearly as excited as Naomi, who nearly jumped onto the boy. She was friends with Miles, but not exceptionally close. He frequently came to her with his girl problems but that was where their relationship ended, usually. There wasn't a lot of depth to it. Seeing his face reminded her of the texting conversation she had had with him a day earlier about Grace, which reminded her of her Alpha friend. She hadn't seen her all morning, which was unusual, seeing that probably all of Elysia's girls besides Grace were already at the booth.

To: Grace Drexler
I expect a hello from you. Come find me :*

After texting Grace, she nodded as Naomi dismissed herself and then glanced back at Miles. "Tell me that you've got something to spike these with at your booth," she said playfully as she grabbed one of the virgin Jello shots from the table.

Longboard

Grunting because the light from the window successfully made it passed her dark magenta curtains, Amelia awoke to the familiar sound of her phone vibrating on a hard surface. Tossing herself over Amelia slowly ran her fingers through her velvet red hair, her eyes closed still basking in the comfort of her bed. "Mmm." after a few minutes of enjoying the plushness of her bed the dancer stretched out and yawned. The covers were halfway falling off the bed exposing her barely clothed body. All she wore to bed, all she ever wore to bed was either a tank top or T-shirt accompanied by underwear and last night was no exception, her sleeping attire consisted of a grey Harry Potter tank top that had the deathly hallows on it along with a pair of rather sexy looking panties.

Lazily stretching out her arm Amy managed to snatch her phone up without knocking it down since she was to lazy to turn her whole body leading to her not looking where her hand was searching. Upon unlocking it she was greeted with a rather cute picture of her brother holding his new King Corso pup. At the bottom of the picture text was a message.

From: Hyung
언니 야 ! 나는 마침내 그에게 이름을 함께했다 . 그것은 마끼 의 .
(Hey unnie! I finally came up with a name for him. It's Makki.)

Amelia smiled at the text from her brother, Makii was a cute name it meant the youngest one and Makii was the youngest pup out of his litter.

To: Hyung
이 형은 그 귀여운 이름입니다! 난 당신이 주어진 당신의 애완 동물 같은 귀여운 이름있는 줄 몰랐어! 롤
(Hyung, that's a cute name! I didn't know you were capable of given your pet such a cute name! Lol)

With that sent the dancer sat up in bed and yawned once more before getting her pretty butt out of bed. She shuffled her feet to the bathroom and went through her daily morning routine. Once finished she looked at the time as it read 9:00am. With a big smile on her face and the towel still wrapped around her from her shower, Amelia all but jumped into her outfit, grabbed her long board and was out of her room. She greeted her other sorority sister with her little regular spin and a snap of the fingers, they giggled though as they always do when she did that and the bright smile on Amy's face was all the same, bright and energetic. Amelia thought that she'd go down to the schools dance studio and get a warm up this morning before the events started and when she was this hyped up there was no stopping her. Even her sorority sister knew when she was in good mood and that little spin was what proved them right.

Placing her board on the ground, the dancer flipped through her phones playlist for a second before selecting a song, her favorite song she'd play when she was really excited or just feeling really good. She couldn't wait for the events to start and to recruit new people, plus she was all about making new friends. Getting onto her board, Amy kicked off and smoothly skated down the cement path. She had to restrain herself from dancing to the song, her legs anyway because from the torso up she was going at it.

"I don't wanna be without you girl! Got me slowly dying. Where did we go wrong my girl? Why can't we keep on trying? I don't wanna be without you girl! I gave my heart to you. Going outta my mind, cause I love you, I need you girl!" she sung the lines and backups, she sang absolutely everything.

The dancer skated, no cruised smoothly to the dance studio just singing and dancing with such passion yet fun. Once there she picked up her board and entered the building, finding it busy she frowned a bit but it faded fast. She wanted to share her excitement with someone so secretly she was hoping someone was here so she could dance with. Amelia spent no time plugging in her ipod and setting her things down but as soon as she did the dancer heard people outside the studio. The door opened and three of her dance partners walked through. This is a fracking miracle! she thought as she ran over to them practically tackling the first girl that walked in, Jessica. The names of the others were Minah and Alex but everyone called her Mini. These three were Amelia's best girls she has ever worked with and good friends.

"Hey guys I missed you, wanna dance!?" Amy was speaking fast like she did when she got too excited and her Korean accent was present, it always was when she talked really fast like that. They all agreed and laughed, Jessica patting Amy playfully on the head telling her how cute she got when she got all excited like that. Amy smiled much like a child would, with a bright smile and pecked the girls cheek. " Now let's get to work then!" shouted out Minah who looked just as energetic as Amy now. With a nod Amy got into position with the other girls, the music began to play and they began to dance.

The dancing just stopped after practicing it more than 10 times. They finally got it down and Amy laid on the floor a bit exhausted but still ready to do more. She had all but lost track of time and when the clock read 10:30 Amy decided to wrap up the practice there. The dancer had gotten good exorcise out of that was ready to take a quick shower and head down to the booth with her other sorority sisters. After bidding her girls goodbye she cruised back to the sorority house, took a shower and ate something. Sometimes Amelia had this habit where she wouldn't eat in the morning, it's not that she was starving herself it was more like she would forget because she would't feel really hungry. While getting dressed she ate a granola bar at the same time and when she needed both hands she would bite the granola bar and hold it there.

After she successfully got dressed and devoured that granola bar Amy packed her backpack with a variety of snacks. Opening her dresser she pulled out her feather bracelet and slipped it on then grabbed her beach ankle bracelet and put that on too. As she was checking herself out in the mirror her phone vibrated in her pocket and she took it out unlocking it and checking the message.

From: Naomi
Omw 2 the booth. 1 of u better b there

With a smile Amelia began to write back. Her fingers moved swiftly over the letters and in 10 seconds her message was done and sent.

To: Naomi
Aye, aye captain! On my way!

Grabbing her board, Amy was out the door again but this time she wasn't wearing any shoes, instead her shoes were in her backpack along with her socks. She thought that she'd go with no shoes on something she loved to do. Instantly when she got outside the campus was crawling with students, it was funny how a measly two hours can change everything. Amelia thought it wise to play her song before she began to ride because she wasn't about to flip through her phone and navigate through all these people, she was sure to fall. Once her song was played on loop the girl began her little trip down to the booth. Her feet were steady on the board but above her hips were a whole different story. She was working her body to the song and that half tank top and short shorts made it hard for boys to pay attention to where they were walking. Upon passing a group of boys she winked at them then sent one of her charming but sexy smiles towards them. Even though she was gay that didn't stop her from flirting with both genders especially the boys. The two girls that were staring at her though rather intensely from a booth, the Alpha Theta Pi's booth to be exact were greeted with a kiss blown to them.

They were dressed to impress of course, like always a rather good quality of theirs. In fact Amelia stopped in front of the two, they were girls she hung out at parties before maybe made out with once or twice. She wrapped her arm around the shorter one.

"Why hello there."

Her conversation with the girls was short, sweet and flirty. They told her to try one of their brownies and she humbly took it whispering a thanks to the girls ear that made her shiver. Satisfied with her teasing the asian took a bite out of the brownie and smiled that oh so vibrant childish smile of hers. "Damn, these are pretty good. Thanks for the sweets hun." and with that she crossed the concrete path to the Zeta's booth on her board but not without tipping her hat to Elysia with her friends right beside her. " Damn good job on the brownies, beautiful." her praise was joined by a smirk, a rather seductive one even though she didn't mean for it to come out like that. Maybe it was directed to Emerson? Whatever it didn't matter now, what is done is done and now she has a brownie so she was happy but when she saw the Zeta's booth her heart skipped a beat. Look at all this food and sweets.

Setting her board behind the booth, on the grassy part Amy walked up to Zoey and smiled. "Morning!" she said with a smile as she reached passed Zoey to grab a cupcake and began licking some of the frosting off of it. "Mmm, so whats up Zoe?"

Naomi's text message woke him up but it took another ten minutes for him to actually pull himself out of his bed. Sam knew that he was running late but wasn't too worried about it. He assumed that Miles and at least the sophomore Sigmas would already be down at the fair, working on their booth. As he grabbed a change of clothes and headed towards one of the bathrooms, he realized that a lot of other guys seemed to have slept in too. He caught a glimpse of Miles jogging downstairs and he passed Kyle on his way down the hall. There were probably a couple of sophomores at the booth so he still took his time as he showered and got dressed, but it was fitting that the Sigmas were a bit off schedule. As avid partiers, they always lived up to their reputation of sleeping in the next morning.

He was positive that he and Zoey had agreed that instead of him waking her up and getting breakfast together, that they would just meet at the fair. According to the sarcastic text message he just received from her though, she clearly had thought otherwise. He shook his head but instinctively smiled just at the sight of her name showing up on his phone. The pair bickered relentlessly but at the end of the day, loved each other unconditionally.

To: Zoey
Don't pin this one on me! U said u were gonna set ur alarm

He was already approaching the Activities Fair when he sent the text but wanted to get his side out before he found Zoey. God only knew he wouldn't be able to get a word of defense in when he was actually with her. Plus, he figured that he needed to check out the Sigma booth before wandering off to find Zoey. However, upon approaching the Sigma booth, he realized that he had killed two birds with one stone. Along with his brothers, he found Zoey stepping away from the booth, after accepting a bottle of something from Miles.

"Come on, really? It's noon and you've got freshman to make a good impression on," he said, plucking the bottle from her hands. He was grinning, but it was sourced more from just seeing her and not from her antics. She hated him for it, but he felt it necessary to police her drinking. It was one thing to do it at parties but even as a Zeta, she didn't need to be doing it now at the first event of the week. Naomi was the Zeta president, but as her right hand girl, he felt like Zoey needed to be mentally-present to help out today. After a swift kiss, he smiled at her and took a few steps closer to the Sigma booth. "I'll bring some food over to you in a minute." He doubted that his brothers had organized anything special, and especially not compared to whatever the Betas and Alphas would have put together. He was right. Miles was grilling Kyle for their display which Sam thought to be decent, but was definitely weak compared to its surroundings.

"I don't think we did too bad," he said as he approached the pair. "The douches will gravitate to Jack, the geeks to Emery, and we'll be left with the good ones," he shrugged. "I will say, though, that those burgers the Betas are cooking smell pretty good. You wanna grab some for me and Zoe?" he said. Sam didn't get along with Jack and wasn't close with any of the other Betas, but he knew that Miles was at least civil with Jack. Worst comes to worst, he figured that he could head over to Emery's booth and take some of whatever they were cooking for he and Zoey.

Zoey grinned as a bottle was tossed to her. "You're the best," she thanked Miles as she spun around to return to the Zeta table, only to almost run right into Sam. He snatched the bottle of liquor from her hands and made a comment about how it was only noon and she needed to focus on talking to the rushers and not drinking. With a roll of her eyes and some sass of her own, Zoey pulled the bottle back from his hands. "Thanks for the advice, but I've got my dad on speed dial for lectures like those." She knew that Sam meant well. He had his personal reasons for being way of alcohol and Zoey had proved that she could get slightly out of hand after one too many drinks, but she wanted him to be her boyfriend, not father. His good intentions aside- if she wanted to drink, you could bet your ass that she was going to drink whether Sam approved of it or not. After returning his peck, she nodded at his offer of food. "Don't take too long this time!" she warned, turning her head back after she had already started towards the Zeta booth.

She returned to her seat in front of the table and when she was convinced no one important was looking, she poured a small amount of vodka into a few random Jello shot glasses. We'll see who can handle the heat, she thought to herself, remembering how Naomi had instructed some of the freshman to take a shot when they got to the booth. She then topped one with a more-than-generous amount of alcohol and downed it herself. The best way to start a day.

After placing the bottle in a bag by her feet, she spotted Amelia approaching. She smiled instantly, knowing that the girl was usually nothing but cheer. "Hey! Nothing really. Naomi just ran off somewhere and I'm ready to go back to bed," she explained. "What about you? Where have you been hiding all morning?" It probably had something to do with dance since that seemed to be the girl's entire life. Not that Zoey blamed her. She had seen Amy dance before and the girl was quite good.

Zoey was glad to see Naomi return, not just because she loved her friend, but because she was getting tired of having to repeat the same speech to passing freshman every two minutes. Naomi had been voted president for a reason, and her enthusiasm and dedication to the sorority were two that topped the list. However, she didn't seem to be in as good of a mood as she had left in and maybe it was out of her own dislike for him, but Zoey wanted to blame Jack. Naomi's request for alcohol wasn't unusual and Zoey knew she was pulling a Sam, but she shook her head. "Do you really think a good citizen like me is going to give alcohol to two underage girls this early in the day?!" she asked sarcastically. Zoey was frequently the one making checklists of what types of liquor everyone wanted when she made her almost daily runs to the liquor store. Still, at least when she was sober, she did take on a bit of a maternal role in the house and since she had no plans to remain sober today, someone was going to need to be coherent enough to represent Zeta.

Leave it to Zoey to suddenly turn responsible when she received a request for alcohol. Not that Naomi wasn't appreciative for it since it did remind her that she was supposed to be behaving, and not being reckless. She sighed as Amelia returned her hug, sticking her tongue out at Zoey before exclaiming petulantly, "Thanks, mom. You suck." Naomi then turned her attention to Amelia fully.

She had fallen madly in love with Amelia's energy from day one and they've been close ever since. The fact that they connected that easily and they both were performers really solidified Naomi's love for her, which was why Naomi had been so happy when Amelia became her little sister. They spent a lot of time goofing off and choreographing routines at the Zeta house - too much time, really, but it was always fun. Naomi hadn't realized it until Amelia had gotten there, but the Zetas needed another person like that and if willing, she could definitely see Amelia as her vice-president next year and the possible president once Naomi graduated, but she wasn't going to tell the dance major that. Not yet, anyway. "You're the best." She said as Amelia set her IPod up. Suddenly, their music overpowered the Betas and Naomi could feel the familiar tingle of excitement in her soul once the music filled the space.

Naomi fell into the rhythm only a second after Amelia, beckoning a few Zetas who had seen Amelia and Naomi messing around with the song too many times to not pick up on a few moves. She moved seamlessly - free and unbothered by the obvious attention she was getting. That's what performing did for her; it brought Naomi to another realm where the outside world didn't matter and all she needed to do was feel the music as it thrummed in her veins. Jack could have very well been watching and she wouldn't have given one single fuck. She laughed when they came to the patty cake section of the dance, the sound bubbling from her mouth uncontained and carefree, before falling back into the routine with a pop, grinning at the sight of interested freshmen who were getting in the groove. Ending on a slight pose, Naomi quirked an eyebrow at Amelia's words, not knowing where she was going but obviously trusting her.

When the song changed and Amelia began fooling around, Naomi clutched her belly, her laugh loud and thoroughly amused before she too got involved. It didn't matter if there was a routine to this; it was just to have fun and be free. She pointed over to where Miles and Sam were, beckoning them and even pointed to Bennett to see if he would come over. She pulled in a few freshmen who, at first, were wary on joining, but Naomi wasn't taking no for an answer and yanked them on over anyway. They danced and grooved beneath the Florida sun. Naomi slowly winded her body and even twerked on a few fellow Zetas. All too soon, the music stopped and the crowd that gathered applaued, and someone had wrapped their arms around her waist from behind, causing a surprised squeak to blurt past her lips before Naomi recognized them. Grinning, the crowd dispersed, with a good number of the girls coming over to talk to the Zetas and Naomi more than willing to talk them, swiping at the sweat that had gathered on her brow. As she came back to their side of the booth, she swiped a Jell-O-shot and downed it, only to be surprised by the bite of alcohol. She immediately glanced at Zoey. "Why am I not surprised!" She exclaimed, not really mad but with a playful and chastising tone.

."Well looks who's big man on campus. Lead the way. "
He smirked, generally amused at being called a big man on campus. In a sense, he was, given his status at the Sigma house along with all the parties they threw. Growing up he was never one to be very popular, but college had changed that a bit. He had always liked parties and having fun in the most exciting forms he could imagine, but college gave him a place to find people to do it with him, and he found that important. Being at the Sigma house built a family for him that he knows he didn't have before. Even after graduating, some of the brothers he'd probably keep in touch with for as long as he was able.

Karma nudged him, "You could have warned me that your whole frat house are sports illustrated fans. I've never seen guys get that excited about a girl they've already seen half naked. " he laughed, figuring it was a joke because probably every boy on campus had seen half naked at least once. On the contrary, he hadn't even recognised her until she brought it up. Then it clicked of course. She laughed at that, possibly a little too hard, but it was cute and he couldn't help but chuckle as well. In general so far he found her to be quite charming in an adorable way. She was girlish in the way she walked and stood beside him. Innocent in some way, maybe childish but she was obviously mature. Playful would be the right word maybe. Or just flirty. Even when she asked him curiously about all the girls he was probably fucking he smiled.

"From what I can tell you can have any girl here and if I had to guess I'd say you've had your fair share so why are you parading a freshman, though a super hot freshman if I do say so myself, around? " He raised an eyebrow at her, amused. "Sorry if that's a bit blunt. " She bit her lip. See, adorable, he thought.

"Well," he began, "if you must know, It is true, you are super hot," he quoted, "and yeah maybe that's why I noticed you jogging by, but I don't know. You seem fun. In a person way. Someone who's up for an adventure. You're easy to talk to, from what I've experienced, and it seems like people are generally drawn to you. I see that as a good sign." He smiled, being sincere with his words. He did believe all the things he said, but considered he could be completely wrong. He hardly knew her. "Does that sound accurate?"

He slipped his hand onto her back again, directing her towards the fair while she looked down at her phone. Her blond hair brushed his fingers lightly, and he couldn't help but watch her as she texted her friends and put her phone away again. She was quite beautiful, no one could deny that. Even now as they stood on the outside of the event he could feel people glancing over and giving their stares for a moment.

She smiled turning to him, "I have to find Elysia's booth. I don't know if you know her? She's the president of the Alpha's? I've known her since we were three so she's like the big sister I always wanted. I have to see Naomi's too. I met her during orientation and she's kinda trying to get me to be a Zeta."

He raised his eyebrow, "A Zeta?" he nodded, "I think you'd fit in pretty well.. Alpha? You're too nice to be an Alpha. But I can show you both of the booths. If you don't mind I'll be taking you to the only actually important booth first." He laughed. "Which I probably should've been at already, but I couldn't pass up getting to show you around. Wasn't sure if I'd ever get the opportunity again."

He lead her to the Sigma's booth, pacing himself a bit faster than average. "Nice of you to join us, pal." Miles sarcastically spit towards Kyle as he approached the table. "I’m going to go ahead and take it that you didn’t put any of this together? Looks fine but we could’ve done better, don’t you think?"

"What?" he exclaimed, "Miles it looks great. If it were done any better then I couldn't take credit for any of it." He joked, slapping Miles on his back in a friendly manor. He knew Miles was probably annoyed at him, but Kyle had planned out a good part of it and organized the Sophomores to set it up. The booth was fine and no one would remember what it looked like tomorrow anyway. He followed Miles' gaze to Emerson, who was currently making her appearance into the fair. It was kind of like watching a movie, slow motion, her short hair being tossed over her shoulder. All the Alphas kind of seemed to walk in slow motion. At least Kyle imagined it that way for his own amusement. He knew Miles still had some baggage from he and Em's relationship, but in Kyle's opinion it was maybe for the best. Lucky, Sam came to divert the attention.

Along with a bottle of alcohol and Zoey, Sam approached the two.
"I don't think we did too bad, The douches will gravitate to Jack, the geeks to Emery, and we'll be left with the good ones.
Kyle smiled in agreement.
"I will say, though, that those burgers the Betas are cooking smell pretty good. You wanna grab some for me and Zoe?" Sam asked Miles.

Kyle cut in then,"By the way," he said, "I want you all to meet my lovely new friend, Karma." He took her hand and pulled her closer to the two of them since she'd been standing a bit away. He smiled his classic smirky grin. He leaned closer to Miles, speaking a little quieter, "and if you don't mind she'll be the reason I'm not managing the booth.." He knew he was pulling some strings, but it's not like it was hard to manage and he figured as punishment Miles would put him in charge of cleaning things up. Which, in turn, he would actually do.

He hadn't really looked at Zoey yet since she'd arrived, but he took a moment to look at her now. Her caught her eyes, only for a moment, but maybe held them too long. He smiled slowly at her, then widely as he looked back to Miles and Sam. Whatever happened between Zoey and him was the past, and he was happy to see Sam and her together. Besides, Karma could be promising, he thought as he gave her hand a small squeeze.

Karma was pleased with Kyle's response. "Spot on gorgeous. ". It was pretty damn accurate if she was honest with herself. She usually liked having a little mystery. She didn't do it to be coy or anything like that. More like she always felt that you should leave them wanting more. Especially guys like Kyle. Even though she didn't have much practice with guys, she leaned from some of the hottest women in the world how to intrigue a man without tricking him. However for some strange reason she felt no need to be wary of him.

She bit her lip when he mentioned he didn't want to risk missing an opportunity to show her around. " You wouldn't have. I go for runs every morning at six am and at eight pm. Your house is on my route too so I'd estimate that if your a early riser you'd see me twice a day if not you'd see me once and it you hadn't made a move I would have sweetheart. " She said with a cheeky grin.

She laughed lightly at his assessment that she would fit in with the Zetas better. " Oh please you have to say that, they're your sister house." She grinned up at him and winked. As soon as they arrived at his booth, Miles, who she had already met was on him. She couldn't help the little shot of pleasure she got when Kyle took her hand. When Kyle introduced her to Miles she sent Miles a wink, " We've actually already met" She said lightly kissing miles on his cheek European style, "Freshman orientation. Tiny dress, big blonde curls. " she added helpfully. She loved that dress, it was a baby doll dress that rested way high up on her thigh. She paired it with over the knee socks, a pair of light blue doc martens and a tiny backpack. Super adorable, it made her feel like a baby doll. She nodded at Sam and sent him a small smile before smiling at Zoey.

When she felt Kyle squeeze her hand she gently squeezed his back and snuggled deeper into his side. She didn't miss Kyle saying that he was going to miss managing the booth to stay with her. Lightly, she bit her lip to hold back a grin. She turned to look for Naomi or Elysia and spotted a familiar pair of hooded sharp green eyes. Bennett, one of the freshmen said his name was Bennett. When his eyes met hers and she realized she had gotten caught looking she simply smiled widely and grinned. She spotted Jack too and smiled. She met Jack when he and Elysia had gone to school together but she doubted he remembered her much.

Finally she found Naomi and grinned when she saw them dancing. " Well want to brave the Alpha's or risk getting dragged into dancing?" She said quirking an eyebrow.

Miles stood close by to his booth, with his back turned to it as he noticed Emerson inching her way closer to her new girlfriend, Elysia. There was a bittersweet sense in seeing Emerson but Miles knew that it was perhaps best he didn’t talk to her. Although, there was a riveting pain in his throat that urged him on to say the crudest things that formulated in his mind. You have to be fucking kidding me? You left me for that bitch?! What the hell can she give you that I never did? It’s bullshit and you fucking know it. There were multitudes of names that rattled his skull as he contemplated actually walking over to them and spitting out his hate. He decided against it though. He turned his attention back to Kyle who had a girl glued to his hip. “What? Miles, it looks great. If it were done any better than I couldn’t take credit for any of it.” Kyle jokingly patted Miles on the back but Miles certainly wasn’t amused. Miles noted the girl hanging just behind Kyle and smiled softly at her. “By the way, I want you to meet my lovely new friend, Karma. “ Miles looked the girl from head to toe. She was really cute, Miles couldn’t deny that. They had actually already met that previous week. He hadn’t caught her name but he definitely remembered her. “Freshman orientation. Tiny dress, big blond curls.” Kyle leaned in closer to Miles and softly spoke into his ear to keep the girl from hearing, “and if you don’t mind, she’ll be the reason I’m not managing the booth.” Kyle continued. Immediately, almost as if it was an instinct when it came to Kyle, Miles rolled his eyes and sighed heavily. He leaned away from Kyle and looked around the courtyard. The crowd wasn’t ridiculous, it was definitely something Miles could handle on his own but that wasn’t the point. The point was that this was a group effort to gain new freshman pledge potentials and he needed his right hand man there to help out with the decision making. “Yeah, fine Kyle. But you owe me.” Miles knew that if Kyle and this girl were to end up together, he’d get side tracked with house work. He looked the girl up and down again and smiled. “You like older guys huh? Well careful with this one.” Miles joked – partially. Miles excused himself from the two and nodded back to Sam to sign that he was going over to the Beta table to grab food.

“Jack, my dear boy, don’t think you guys look pretentious enough with this booth. Why don’t you try a little harder next time?” Miles smirked toward Jack and his boys as he moved closer to them. “Hey princess, make me a few burgers there, will ya?” He called out to the kid at the grill whose name he never cared to learn. Why learn names of the ones that are irrelevant? Miles never wasted his time with the people he met; he was resourceful like that. Miles never believed in a wasted friendship. Everyone walked into someone else’s life for a reason and if Miles can’t find that reason to begin with, he either gives them reason or opens the door on their way out. That could be said of his friendship with Jack. The two weren’t the best of friends but it’d be a lie to call them enemies – more like a friendly rivalry. The two helped each other when they needed it but had the courtesy to stay out of each other’s way otherwise. Before the two Presidents could delve deeper into any actual conversation, music was loudly surrounding the courtyard.

With the drop of the beat, Miles attention moved from his ex-girlfriend to his best friend and some of her girls. An iPod had been plugged in and now he was being summed to dance with Naomi. She was pointing out random people with the hopes to grab someone, as if it were some type of show. Miles laughed and hopped over to Naomi and started dancing alongside her. A crowd formed around everyone dancing. Miles had no shame in breaking out into dance or song for that matter. He didn’t care if he looked awful or if anyone loved him – it was all about the fun in that moment. When the dancing had all stopped, Miles took a deep breath and smiled as he jokingly bowed to his audience. As the crowd dispersed, several of the students made their ways to the booths. A couple had stopped at the Sigma booth and Miles sparked up a conversation with a few them. He gave flyers out with details of the events of the rest of the week. “Make sure you look into Sigmas. We’ll make it worth your time.” He said as they started to look around at the other booths. “Let’s pick up the fucking slack here boys, I’ll be damned if these Beta shits take my men away!” Miles called out to the boys at his booth.

There was always something happening around Bennett and rarely anything happening to Bennett, unless of course he placed himself in the situation. He learned from a young age never to meddle in someone’s business that wasn’t relevant to oneself. Therefore, he usually stayed to his own unless he felt the need to meddle. Although that wasn’t often. The boy was leaned up against his booth now, watching as different houses mingled while others ignored everyone else. Bennett was big on observing people. He noticed the look of disgust in Miles’ eyes when his vision was directed in Emerson’s direction, he noticed the look of pure hatred in Naomi’s eyes as she was forced through sit through some bullshit spewing out of Alexandri’s mouth.

The only thing that snapped Bennett out of his observational trance was the sound of his name being called by Jack, “Hunter, Bas, Dan, Charlie, any of you want to go hang out at the Alpha booth?” Of course Bennett was going to say yes to that. Why anyone would want to stir away from girls that beautiful and poise was beyond him. Perhaps it was because of their stature though – Bennett felt comfortable being with other people who came from similar backgrounds and therefore was always more comfortable with the Betas than he was with anyone else, despite his friendship with Naomi. That was a little different. They often butt heads but somehow they still managed to work well together. Bennett was just about to head over to the Alpha booth when Miles came over to their booth and started, what seemed to be, joking with Jack. Bennett could pick up on Miles calling the Beta boys pretentious and Bennett wanted to laugh at the thought. Miles wouldn’t know high class if it bite him in the goddamn ass. Bennett let his mind wander with thoughts, often receding to the thought of how simply better he was than most of the other chumps in the other houses – failures, is what Bennett often referred them to.

Suddenly, within a quick second, music resonated in his own head as much as it did the large courtyard. He peeked over to where the music was coming from and saw Naomi calling to him, pointing to him, trying to get him to join in the dancing. Bennett was all for dancing in the club but he’d rather not make a fool of himself out in a crowd of people. He smiled at Naomi while playfully rejecting the invite to dance. But while he looked in her direction, Bennett’s eyes fell upon what he could have sworn was a goddess. She clung to the arms of a blond boy, Kyle. Their eyes connected and something in Bennett jumped, he smiled at her and nervously put his hand in his pocket. When the girl smiled back, Bennett fluttered a little. He suddenly wanted to rush over to the dancing – really he just wanted a reason to talk to her. Bennett straightened out his shirt and started heading over to Naomi’s booth. As he walked by, he brushed shoulders with Karma just slightly, “Hey,” he gently smirked and raised an eye brow as he made his way past her.

Naomi grinned back at Zoey, shaking her head with amusement. While anyone else would have been upset since the Jell-O-shots were supposed to be minor-friendly for the sake of the school, leave it to Zoey to just say, "fuck it." And Naomi, despite how moral or how much of a good girl she could be, just loved being bad and could only be grateful. "Have I told you much I love you lately?" She exclaimed, waving to a few freshmen from orientation week. Her eyes fell on Karma and Kyle, who weren't that far away and Naomi quirked an eyebrow. She glanced from Karma to Kyle, and then back to Karma again with a questioning smirk. She even almost missed Zoey's questions with her curiosity, but glanced back to her best friend once it clicked in her head.

"Actually, that sounds like a great idea. We have an hour before the jamboree and no one's doing anything. I'll put it in a mass text," she said and pulled out her phone before considering. As much as she knew that some of her friends hung out with people she didn't really talk to, why not invite everyone she liked? Everyone could chill out and if they didn't like each other, they could always just not show up. It wasn't going to kill her. Besides, it was hot and she wanted the col water of the ocean on her skin. Not to mention to wear the new bikini she had bought with her mother's new boytoy's money. "Emery? Hmm...I think he was at the Alpha table, not really sure." The placement this year definitely put certain houses by people they normally wouldn't be associated with. Maybe it was the school's new way of creating relationships, she surmised while typing out her message, hoping she didn't forget anyone.

To: Bennett, Sam, Miles, Sierra, Amy, Poppy, Giselle, Daniel, Emery
Idk what y'all plan 2 do, but Zetas r hittin up da beach b4 da jamboree. Any1's invited.

Biting her lower lip softly, Naomi glanced over at the Beta table before shaking her head. She really needed to stop doing this. She was making herself obvious the more she looked in his direction. However, she also couldn't help it and decided to interact with people as a distraction, but not before sending one more text.

To: Jack
Didn't think I'd invite ur guys 2 da beach w/out u. Didn't want u 2 be lonely, Reynolds. Don't ever say I didn't do anything 4 u

Her first target was Karma, who hadn't drifted off yet and who Naomi was more than happy to greet. Side-stepping a few people who were in line for either Beta or Zeta foods, Naomi made her way to the blonde, smiling widely. "Hey, gorgeous. You look great!" She exclaimed and nodded to Kyle with the smile still present. "Hey, Kyle." Naomi turned back to Karma then. "See any booths you liked yet? Ooh, and what are you both doing after this? The Zetas and a few other people are hitting up the beach before the jamboree." She stated, including Kyle in the end. After all, who the hell didn't like the beach?

Crowds weren’t so much thinning as they were organizing. There were people everywhere essentially, but they were all where they felt they should be. Except for scattered members of each house mingling with each other. It slightly aggravated Miles – the fact that everyone could simply run off from their work and talk to others while meanwhile he felt as though he had to stay stuck to his position because of the fact that the sophomores still didn’t know exactly what to do to with the ropes handed to them and anyone who actually knew how to do anything was off running along with some blonde bimbo.

As Miles’ eyes wandered from the corners of the courtyard down to the phone in his lap, a group of freshman walked up to the booth. Miles hadn’t noticed as the guys at first as he was very concentrated on doing absolutely nothing in the time they walked over. One of the guys cleared their throats and Miles’ eyes shot up. “Hey guys, how’s it going?” The boys stared without saying a word at first and then one of the standing in the middle nudged one of the others. Miles burrowed his eyebrows in slight confusion. He didn’t say anything though and just stood there waiting for someone to say something and when none of them, Miles opened his mouth to speak. “Well… are you guys interested in becoming a Sigma?” At that time one of the boys sputtered nervously, “Is it true that in your sophomore year you beat the hell out of one of your professors and almost got kicked out of school?” The kid’s words came out like word vomit, spitting up all of the things he was thinking and could no longer control it. Miles chuckled at the speedy speaker and the boy took a step back. “What your name kid? The boy spoke up immediately, “I’m Trevor. These are my friends, Luke, Quinn, Gage, and Wes.” Miles shook hands with each one. “We want to be Sigmas. How do we get in?” Miles made eye contact with Gage, the boy who spoke up. The corner of Miles’ mouth drew up into a smirk. He pulled a few flyers off the table and handed them to the guys. “Here, this should give you some details on how to go about that.” Miles’ phone pinged in his pocket, he pulled it out to see a text from Naomi about going to the beach. “We’ve got some shit going down at the beach in a little. Why don’t you guys swing by? We’ve got more going down later too. I’ll hit you guys up huh?” Miles passed around his phone and each of the guys put their number in his phone – smiles spread across their faces and Miles knew that this was only the beginning of the show.

While Miles talked to the guys at his booth and the others mingled, Bennett’s phone pinged in his pocket with a text from Naomi, it was an invite to hit the beach with the Zetas. He smiled at the text and looked up at his phone to see if he could find her in the crowd. Naomi was mingling with Karma and Bennett saw this as his chance to get closer. His phone pinged again and he pulled it back up to eye sight to see a text from Paige. He swiped his phone open and clicked on the text to open it but he didn’t respond. Bennett slid his phone back in his pocket and walked over to Naomi. “Naaaayyyyooommiii!”” Bennett clamored happily. He walked closer and put his arms up for a hug. He saw Kyle and Karma standing in front of Naomi but pretended as if he didn’t see them at first. “So the beach is happening huh? I’m down, may need a ride though.” He turned after his hug to look at the stunning girl that stood by him, and also Kyle. Bennett smiled gently at the girl, “Hey. I’m Bennett, I don’t think we’ve met.” The boy smiled at her as he looked in her eyes but refused to look away or to look at the boy next that stood next to her.

X Settling in next to Elysia, a familiar face caught Emerson's eye across the courtyard. She quickly looked away from the familiar blonde boy, for the distaste in his expression, visible even at this distance, was enough to make the confident girl feel briefly uncomfortable. Of course, as per the rule of threes she must now meet another romantic interest, prior anyway, in the form of Amelia Park. Of course, Amelia and Emerson are far less raw that Emerson and Miles, and the two get along regardless of their high school relationship, which puttered off in a somewhat mutual way when Amelia and her family returned to South Korea. Emerson smiles at the girl, although she cannot take credit for the brownies: Emerson is not really much of a cook. Well, she can make meals, so rather she is not much of a baker. It all burns in the oven, or ends up too gooey or too dry. If she ever made brownies as good as the one provided at her house's booth, it would be labeled the eighth wonder of the world. Emerson smiles back at Elysia and returns the kiss with a brief one on the mouth before turning towards the Zetas, which had begun to dance.

X Thatch arrived on time for the little festival of recruiting, he genuinely did. In fact, suiting his habit of being an early riser, the young man had been one of the first ones there. This is also probably because Sophomores were sent ahead to help set up. However, after the first hour or so, the Sigma sophomore disappeared, making it seem reasonable for people to not realize that he had ever arrived. Until, that is, one of his brothers found him happily dozing off under a tree. The young man is an infamous napper, perhaps because he believes that sleeping in the sun is never a waste of time, and so the Sigma who finds him merely rolls his eyes, realizing that they should have known this would be the place to find Thatcher. Fortunately for the young man, he is woken up just in time to watch Naomi, Amelia, and some of the other Zeta girls put on a dance number for the crowd. Truth be told, he himself could never dance like that, although he is passable at swing dancing, and so he admires abilities in others that he lacks. He notices Amelia wink at Emerson and Elysia, and the way that Emerson raises her eyebrows and smiles makes him wonder if they ever had something in the past. It doesn't impact him much, though he hasn't been Emerson's biggest fan since the latest break up with Miles.

X It is clear in Emerson's expression that she takes this as an issued challenge. Of course, if one is being perfectly honest, the competitive woman is likely to take almost anything as a challenge. Part of her relentlessly ambitious nature is a desire to surpass any expectations, and one for a fantastic year seems to fit the bill. "Is that a promise, or a challenge?" Of course, she unlinks her arm from Elysia's when a blond freshman, who Em has heard plenty about by now, comes over and begins rushing through her words, everything sounding like one large run-on sentence. A little bit faster and she'd be spreading, Emerson thinks, and chuckles very softly, mostly internally, at her own very lame joke.

X Thatcher pushes himself up and heads back over to the Sigma booth, stretching his arms upwards toward the sky as he does so. The nap was perhaps a bit early in the morning, but he's been up since 5am so it hardly feels that way to him. Instead, it served as the perfect refresher. Thatcher doesn't need coffee or soda to keep him alert: green apples, exercise, and liberal napping does the job for the rather healthy young man. It's immediately clear that a lot of the Sigmas are wandering around rather than manning the booth, and Thatch can hardly blame them. Houses competing for the best recruits with food, music, and other forms of temptation, though subtle, makes for a good time. It's even more interesting to watch now that he isn't one of the lost freshman being courted. Of course, upon coming to this school Thatch had pretty much already known where he wanted to pledge: Sigmas were by far the most fun, least overbearing, and most relaxed of the fraternities. Sure, plenty of his fraternity brothers liked to live fast, but there was definitely a life for someone who liked to stroll and enjoy things, like Thatch. He walks up to Miles, the pres, and grins sheepishly. "I may have dozed off, sorry man. What can I do?" perhaps because he is still a sophomore, or because he is awake and ready to go from the nap, Thatcher is eager to help out.

X "I could go for the beach," Emerson remarks. She could use some relaxing after the debate, as the final round had been brutal. It had been against the girl who got first, actually. Thinking about it Emerson sighs: there are very few people she can tolerate defeat from, and that girl, one of the top LD college debaters in this area's circuit, was one of them. They were constantly switching off between wins, and it drove Emerson wild. Of course, she secretly loved it as well, because nothing very easy is really worth doing, as far as she's concerned. "I need a reason to try on that new swimsuit," she adds.

Sam wasn't surprised when Kyle waltzed over with a stunning freshman glued to his side. He introduced her as a friend but Sam was sure that if there weren't already some "benefits" in that friendship, there would be by the end of the week. He assumed that there was already more going on between the pair though. She was only a freshman, so they must have met recently, but living in the room next to Kyle meant that Sam often heard more than he wanted to from Kyle's room. Luckily, the Sigma walls were pretty thick, but he could have sworn that he'd heard a higher pitched, muffled voice on the other side of the wall last night. He gave her a quick up and down look, trying to figure out where he recognized her from more than actually checking her out, before giving up and settling with a polite smile. "Nice to meet you, I'm Sam," he offered before Miles gave her a fair warning on Kyle. As Miles left to get food, Sam lagged behind a bit, only to offer Kyle a quick smirk and thumbs up as he nodded his head towards the young blonde. Miles had good reason to tell Karma to be careful with Kyle but simply judging by the girl's beauty and demeanor, he probably needed to watch his back too.

Sam thanked Miles for the burgers he returned with, but didn't have time to say much more to him, as the Sigma president reluctantly made his way to the Zeta booth. Music had started playing and as he glanced in that direction, he spotted a crowd forming around a few people dancing. He didn't see Zoey in the mix but wasn't going to interrupt the show, so before returning to his girlfriend, he made a pit stop at the Kappa booth. "Is Andy around?" he asked one of the sophomores who stood at the edge of their booth.

"He's at the Theta table with Poppy, I think," the guy responded simply.

Sam nodded but as he turned away, couldn't stop himself from smiling slightly. He should have known. Andrew was his closest friend in the Kappa house and one of the smartest guys he knew at Fulton. It shocked him how someone so intelligent, kind and insightful hadn't realized yet that Poppy wasn't the perfect girl for him yet. The two seemed to click just as well as he and Zoey, and maybe even better since both of them seemed too sweet for the the constant bickering he and Zoey engaged in.

When he returned to the Zeta table, he found the music lowered, Naomi and Amelia gone, and Zoey chatting with a freshman. "A burger for my lady," he said playfully as he slid the plate in front of her and took a seat on the empty chair next to her. He'd probably have to get up when Naomi or another real Sigma representative showed up, but everyone seemed preoccupied with other things at the moment. He had gotten to the booth after Dorothy had finished speaking, and with a hot burger in front of him, he wasn't paying attention enough to the girls' conversation enough to offer more than a friendly smile to her.

To: Naomi
I'm in

He responded to Naomi's text quickly, knowing that if she was going, Zoey most likely was as well. He spent the past summer and many before as a lifeguard for the Disney World water parks and resorts, but even after a grueling routine, he could never get enough of the water.

As the boys that were interested in the Sigma’s booth dispersed and took to look at the other houses booths, Miles’ eyes focused again on his ex-girlfriend, whose sight always either infuriated him or infatuated him. There was rarely ever n in between with Emerson and the way Miles felt for her. He was either head over heels for her or he was fed up with her entirely, and perhaps that’s why their relationship suffered every time that it did. Both were very head strong in everything that they did and both felt everything and did everything intensely. When Emerson and Miles fought, it was always a fight to bring down the walls of a house or bad enough to have the neighbors peek out their windows in the middle of the night. But when they loved, they loved enough to give color to a world in black and white. At the moment Miles resented Emerson and Elysia for their relationship; he didn’t know who he hated more though, Elysia for attempting to break them up or Emerson for allowing it to happen. He likes to think he hates them both equally but everyone knows that Miles can’t truly hate Emerson – no matter how hard he tried he couldn’t.

Miles was caught off guard when Thatcher approached him asking if there was something he could do to help. The boy still had sleep lines across face and his hair was very slightly disheveled. Miles looked around the booth and scratched his head in thought. “Uhmm, yeah Thatcher…” Miles looked back at Naomi and remember the invite to the beach. “Help me clean this up,” Miles continued, “A few of us are hitting the beach. Help me put the cooler in my car and put the table and shit back.”
Miles tried to call out to Sam and Kyle to get help putting things away so they can get a head start to the beach to set up some coolers and speakers for music.

As Miles and Thatcher started to pull their things together, Bennett stood nearby having a conversation with Karma. She introduced herself, “Karma, Karma Cohen.” Her name for some reason brought a smile to Bennett’s face, he thought it was a pretty name, but then she continued, “I’m a freshman.” Bennett gently chuckled at the fact. He shook hands with the girl as she introduced herself – her hands were soft, Bennett thought. He shook back, “Bennett, Bennett Atkins. I’m a sophomore.” He said smiling back at her. Soon after the girl ran off, promising she’d be back quickly. Bas watched her hop off, shrieking, as she met with a friend. He smiled as she hopped up and down, shrieking god knows what into the other girls face. There was an instant attraction to the girl – so much so that Bennett completely forgot that she was seconds earlier attached to Kyle’s hip.

Time//Day
3:20// Tuesday Afternoon

By three in the afternoon, a few of the non-Greek organizations had begun cleaning up their areas and dispersing and when twenty minutes passed, so had some of the Zetas. They were still in the process of moving things since the fair had drawn to a close and the setting up for the jamboree would be commencing soon. Naomi had sent off Kyle, Bennett, and Karma after a few more minutes, not really thinking about inviting Kyle to their beach excursion - not out of not wanting him there, but because it had slipped her mind until he had already disappeared into the crowd. Besides, Miles would tell him, right? Before they began cleaning up their own section, Naomi had run across a new girl near the Zeta booth who had been talking to Zoey. Once Karma had confirmed that she needed a ride and Naomi had agreed to be such, she had returned to her girls and seen the rusher checking out snacks and talking to other members. When one of the Zetas saw Naomi, they pointed her out to the new girl, whose name she had been told was Dori. "Hey, well, I'm Naomi. We'll probably start heading out soon, but you should come to the beach. A few friends and such are gonna be there, and who knows? You might just fall in love with us." She had said, ending on a wink before waving the girl off and making plans.

While Naomi had gotten Ever, Rebecca, and Angel and a few other notable Zetas who weren't going to the beach to assist more with the cleaning up, she still found herself helping out - not because no one was following her orders, but because she didn't want to put everything on them. She had just returned a few of the tables given by the Student Government Association when she decided to send out another mass text, including Thatcher who she hadn't seen at the fair at the time.

To: Daniel, Zoey, Karma, Bennet, Miles, Zoey, Amelia, Sierra, Sam, Poppy, Giselle, Thatcher
Headed back 2 my house 2 get changed. Any1 who needs a ride, c u in 30 mins. Otherwise, c evry1 at the beach :D

Sliding her phone away and waving off Lianne, Naomi headed in the direction of the Zeta house. She was immediately swamped with girls running in and out of their living space; some because they were going to be late for classes or work, and others simply because they had plans for the rest of the afternoon. Laughing at one of the girls who practically squealed upon seeing her boyfriend and practically pouncing on him, Naomi closed the door behind herself and jogged upstairs to get to her room. Luckily for her, being a senior and a president had its perks, which included a slightly larger room, which was a single. She definitely appreciated that, she realized, as the silence there was enough to remind her that she did, in fact, have plans. Running her hands over her face lightly, she decided to take a quick shower. It was a thing of hers; she could never change in to one outfit without at least taking a quick dip in the shower unless she was getting ready for bed. Once out, she applied a sunblock on her smooth skin with the same warm, sweet and nutty fragrance she was known for. Afterwards, Naomi rifled through her selection of swimwear before deciding upon one of the newer ones. She hadn't actually meant it when she told Jack that she had been planning on wearing a new bikini; she just needed something to say to get back at him. However, she liked the strappy zebra-print bikini her mom had picked out in her attempts at winning the "Mother of the Year" award. "Yeah, right," she muttered to no one in particular at the thought before finishing up.

Once she was officially ready dressed and her bag was full with her towel, wallet, and a few books and magazines to read, Naomi slid on some sunglasses and was applying some rose oil lip balm as she descended back down the stairs. The house was only a bit quieter with the sound of pitter-pattering from various rooms and the hallways. With about ten minutes to spare, Naomi traipsed into the kitchen to make herself a smoothie, which consisted of strawberries, bananas, vanilla yogurt, and blueberries. Once it had gotten to a smooth consistency (she hated ice in smoothies), she poured the thick liquid into a travel cup with an attachable lid and straw. She took a sip just to taste it and while sucking that down leisurely, walked out of the house, ready to hang out at the beach. Naomi walked across the street to her 2014 Tahoe, climbing in and cranking on the radio while she waited for people.

As the activities fair winded down to an end, Miles and Thatcher worked to put away the items of the booth. Miles wanted to get out of the clothes he was wearing, into some board shorts and onto the beach. For some reason he suddenly felt stressed out simply being at school. He needed a moment to de-stress and he knew the best way to do that would be to chill on the beach with a beer in hand. It was the best way Miles knew how to relax at this point in his college career and he was moving as fast as he could to get his hands on a cool beer can. He lugged several items over to his Jeep, putting the items in the back seat. He filled the car up as much as he could so that he wouldn't have to make several trips. He hopped in the front seat and made his way to the Sigma house. He pulled into the drive way and started unloading the car of his items. He didn't bother to open up the garage that was at the end of the driveway, to put the items in. Instead he just set everything in front of the garage door and ran inside to get changed.

The perks of having become the house president meant that Miles gets the bedroom upgrade as well as the duty upgrade. Miles hated having one of the smaller bedrooms when he was a younger member of the house but upon becoming president and getting the larger bedroom, Miles knew exactly what he wanted to do with it. He styled his room with a very classic look. His bed was nice and big but left plenty of room in the rest of his room for the rest of his furniture. Miles' bedroom was always well kempt and clean. One of the biggest pet peeves Miles had was a messy room. As he walked into his room to get changed, he noticed his bed was undone and he groaned. He almost wanted to stop to clean it but he wanted to be away from where he was more than anywhere else. Miles turned to the hallway before closing his bedroom door, "My car leaves in 15 minutes. If you need a ride, have your ass ready and downstairs before I come down. Otherwise you're on your own." Miles shut the door behind him and started to rifle through his clothes.

Bennett was in his room changing when he received a text from Naomi. He was definitely going to need a ride so he knew he needed to pick up the pace and decide what he was going to wear already. Bennett hated not looking presentable, even when he wore sweatpants or dressed down, he made it a point to look at least half way decent. He through together an outfit and texted Naomi back.

To: Naomi
Headed out to your car now. Better have a seat open!

Bennett quickly made his way through his bedroom door and down the stairs to the foyer. Bennett called out that he was going to the beach and hitch a ride with Naomi. He walked out of the house and headed straight for Naomi's car.

While the top portion of Naomi's body was kept in the vehicle, the rest of her leggy form was on full display, her long legs hanging out the driver's side door comfortably. It was when her phone buzzed that she pulled herself completely in the vehicle. crawling to an upright position to fully type out a response to Amelia.

To: Amy
Idk about both, we'll see

It wasn't that she was trying to exclude either Kellin or Kyle. Once Amelia, Bennet, and Karma arrived, she would have only one seat left unless someone wanted to sit in her trunk. Granted, it was spacious enough, at least for a female body and Naomi herself used to love sitting back there when she was in someone else's car because she could take a nap. However, unless someone wanted that or opted to lap up, there was no way all of them were fitting in the car unless everyone wanted to be squeezed in. She didn't have to wait long for her fellow Zeta because Amy was soon walking over and in retaliation to the girl's stuck out tongue, Naomi made a goofy face, which consisted of her tongue sticking out on the side and her eyes going to the sides. "Hello, my love." She said and smiled at Amy's sign of affection. At the compliment, Naomi swiped at the curly strands she left from the updo dramatically while exclaiming, "I try!"

Naomi giggled a beat afterwards as Amelia climbed into the passenger seat and pulled her own legs upwards, her lithe form allowing for her feet to rest on the seat and tucked firmly towards her plopped bum. Considering the fact that she wasn't known for sitting in certain positions for too long, her actions and show of her flexibility weren't uncommon. She peered down at her phone and answered Amelia distractedly, "Um, go ahead. These people need to hurry up. There's a wave calling my name." The last part was directed more to herself, or to the folks she was waiting for and as she swiped over the screen of her phone with her thumb, Naomi also reached over to the cup holder for her smoothie to sip on it. Luckily, it didn't take long for Bennet to text her just a few seconds before Kellin appeared. Smiling back at the blue-haired beauty, Naomi sent out several messages.
