Childhood/Family Life:
Zoey comes from a middle class family. She was born and raised by her mother, Mila, and father, Bill, in a small Maryland coastal town. Her mother was a first-generation immigrant who moved from Bulgaria to Brooklyn, NY when she was a child. There, she met Bill Brady, who became her best childhood friend. They were lucky enough to grow up together and fall in love. After marrying, they relocated to Maryland, where they opened up a small burger shop together in Baltimore. It took less than a year for them to get pregnant with Zoey. Three years later, their son Angel was born and three years after that, their last child, Anna was born. Growing up was a pleasant experience for Zoey. She had an exceptionally close bond with both of her parents and her two younger siblings. She was a smart girl who rarely struggled in school, and she was an avid swimmer throughout her youth. Her bubbly personality allowed her to make friends seamlessly and there was nothing exceptionally unusual that interrupted her young years.

High school was when she began to socialize more than her parents approved of. She became heavily involved in partying and was picked up more times than she can count for underage drinking. Luckily, many of the officers in town knew her parents and frequented their restaurant, so she was never actually charged with anything and was always just driven home. Even if she wasn't getting into trouble legally, the drinking became excessive and during her senior year, she ended up having to get her stomach pumped at the hospital because she had consumed so much. Zoey wouldn't consider herself an alcoholic because if she wanted to stop drinking, she could, but she definitely abuses alcohol and her liver will probably pay for it down the road. Although her behavior as a teenager didn't go over well with her parents, they've assumed that she's grown out of those behaviors now that she's in college. They couldn't be more wrong, but Zoey does a good job at pretending that she's given up her partying days. She does well in her classes and holds a job on campus, and she thinks that those positives outweigh whatever negatives come with letting off a little steam at parties.

Quirks//Habits//Oddities:
Binge drinking // Sings in the shower // Almost always has a candle lit in her room // Keeps her room spotless // Late sleeper // Rarely answers phone calls but constantly texts // Bad driver // Bites her lower lip when nervous // Constantly misplaces things

Good personality traits:
Loyal // Entertaining // Caring // Perceptive // Seductive

Bad personality traits:
Impulsive // Heedless // Flirtatious // Self-indulgent

Personality:
Zoey is best described as being the life of the party. She's energetic, entertaining and adventurous. She's the type of girl to never back down from a challenge, especially in a social setting. Whether that means chugging a beer or taking her fifth Fireball shot of the night, you can bet that she's going to be game. This definitely makes her fun to hang out with, but a lot of the time, results in her being irresponsible. She never gets into too much trouble, but she definitely fears that one night when she goes overboard (which is often), that she'll be arrested for public intoxication, or will even be drunk enough to try driving. The morning after parties, she doesn't regret anything more than hookups that she doesn't know existed until her friends tell her who she slept with. She tends to become extremely flirtatious when drunk and it often ends up getting her into sticky situations. It's usually expected that the girls are the ones who want more than one-night-stands, but Zoey is usually the one who rejects any advances towards actual relationships with guys that she sleeps with. It's not that she doesn't want a boyfriend, but she's scared to give up her freedom and thinks that's what happens in real relationships. In this respect, she can be guarded and often prefers to only show her deep emotions or desires for people when drunk.

It surprises many people who only see her at parties when they find out that she's actually quite intelligent. She puts an equal amount of emphasis on her academics as she does partying, and it pays off. She isn't the type of girl who wants to debate or discuss intellectual things in a social setting but when it comes to reports, exams and school work, she can put her knowledge to work. Although she can be pretty wild when she's drinking, her friends know her to be an adoring and loyal friend. She isn't spiteful and tries to avoid drama at all costs, so most of the time, she's in good spirits, is optimistic and looks to help her friends whenever she can.

Greatest joys in life:
Alcohol // Partying // Family Vacations // Holidays

Greatest fears:
Getting arrested // Driving drunk // Ghosts // Rape

Life philosophy:
"You must not reduce yourself to a puddle just because the person you like is afraid to swim and you are a fierce sea to them; because there will be someone who was born with love of the waves within their blood, and they will look at you with fear and respect."
- T.B. LaBerge

Thoughts on Greek Life:
Overall, Zoey's college experience has been great so far, and Greek Life has only enhanced it. She's made great friends and connections, is constantly partying, and enjoying life. Her sorority sisters are like family to her and she's devastated that she's going to be leaving them this year. Although her connections with the other Zetas is generally very strong, she does clash with some of the Alpha Theta girls. Whether it's the way that they act as if they're better than everyone else or how they think the Beta Gamma Omega boys are strictly theirs... something about them just bother her to no end. She loves the Sigma Chi boys and while she doesn't hate the Theta Chi or Kappa Alpha kids, she finds them to be too refrained. It's not like she knows many of them very well though, so she's based her opinion off of their stereotype.

Plans for after college:
Zoey has always been interested in science and medicine. She was on a pre-med track until last year, when she decided to remain a biology major and go into optometry rather than medicine. Next fall, Zoey will head off to The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. She was accepted into their top-ranked optometry program and will get her degree in optometry there. Following that, she wants to either move back to Florida or to California, to work as an optometrist.

Build:
Height: 5'6
Weight: 120

Hair Colour:
Brown

Eye Colour:
Hazel

Distinguishing Marks:
She only has her ears pierced.

Style:
Zoey doesn't have any specific style. Her most signature looks would probably be the tiny dresses she wears to parties, and the sweat pants and t-shirt look that she'll wear the next morning to class when she's fighting a bad hangover. Besides that, she dresses for the weather and occassion and likes to shop anywhere from Forever 21, to Urban Outfitters, Tobi, or H&M.

The campus was alive with excitement, anxiety, nerves, and anticipation. A new school year had begun the second students began moving back onto campus, but now, it finally seemed to hit them. For some, it was their final year at the beloved Fulton University, one of the top universities in the country. For others, it was their first year. Either way, there was a sort of buzz all around campus, a tingle each and every student felt as they greeted this year of opportunities and adventure. And what better way to start it all off than with the one thing on everybody's mind - Rush Week. Granted, these would only be the preliminary rounds, but who knows what could happen on the very first day...

As the track slowly moved to its conclusion and after receiving a nod from one of her favorite radio partners, Naomi officially turned the dial for the sound down, speaking into her microphone clearly with her ever present and rich British lilt. "That was 2 On by Tinashe, the best song of Summer 2014. You heard it here at Fulton U Hot 103.4." Ronnie, or Ronald when he was in their political science class with Dr. Skarsgaard who truly did not care for pleasantries or students, much less, grinned at her making a face at him for pressing one of the controls, which caused a squelching sound appear just after she finished her sentence. He played too much sometimes and she had half the mind to reach over the table of controls that separated them just to swat him on the head, but opted against it. She had to go soon anyway. She rolled her eyes at him before continuing, "This is your girl Nomi, NomiIzMe, and I'm about to turn everything over to my co-host, RonnieB. Don't get forget to holla at your girl at the beautiful Zeta Nu Delta House stand at the 2014 Fulton University Activities Fair. Hope to see you all there." With a mock salute and her favorite mix of India Arie and a beat from DJ Mustard, Naomi spelled her own exit and turned everything over to Ronnie, nodding to him as she set down her headset before exiting the large recording area.

Once outside in the busy hallway, she hoisted her bag over her shoulder and made her way through the crowd, the gold of her Zeta Nu Delta custom-made bracelet catching a glint from the sun, which peeked in through the barely closed blinds of one of the hallway windows. Smirking to herself as she saw a few noticeable freshmen males whispering to themselves and glancing over at her, she twirled a few strands of hair with her pointer finger, shooting them a sultry grin accompanied by a wink before turning the corner. The move was harmless and judging by an exclamation followed by a quiet roar of excitement from where they had, it had the desired effect. She didn't mess around with freshmen guys and never would, but it definitely was fun toying with them. Not that she would ever lead them on or anything of that nature, but flirting was harmless. Besides, she wouldn't be a true Zeta if she didn't have a bit of a flirt in her. A more genuine smile flitted across her face at the thought of her girls and without hesitation, Naomi whipped out her phone to text them just as she pulled into one of the many bathrooms on the first floor to simply check on her image.

To: Zoey, Amelia, Sierra
Omw 2 the booth. 1 of u better b there

Naomi wasn't particularly worried about any of the girls showing up late, she decided, as the text was sent. She had already specified that one of the other sophomores would set up with some of the baked goods Naomi had made the night before. She slid her phone into her back pocket before primping her hair. She had chosen one of her more fun outfits for the day. It was eye-catching enough to remind everyone that she was a fashionable woman, but simple enough to not do too much in. Naomi could be a lot of things, but she wasn't that much of a show-off. Besides, that tomboyish edge was her thing and she always had to make sure it was on point. After reapplying the natural-looking shade of pink lip gloss on her lips and that her hair was still on point, she gave herself one more appraisal before leaving the bathroom and heading out to one of the larger grassy areas of Fulton University, where the Activities Fair was to take place. Every year, the location changed and she actually preferred the area they chose for this year. It was spacious and open, and left room for some of the campus' more physically active organizations to show off. It was like a tame Zeta/Sigma party, except without the booze and heavy grinding. Just a paid DJ and everyone weaning out their favorites.

Once outside, it didn't take her long to get to her booth, which was closer to the Sigma table. She frowned a bit when she didn't see Miles yet and decided to find her favorite Sigma, setting her bag down beside her chosen chair and taking a seat. Folding one smooth leg over the other, she grinned at the Zeta who had watched the table in her absence before pulling out her phone to text Miles and her other best friend.

To: Miles

Zoey had hoped that this year, she would adapt some better habits. While Sam had brazenly suggested she limit how much she drank, she had decided that waking up at a normal hour would be a more attainable goal. Only a few days had passed since she moved back to the Zeta house however, and that goal seemed to fly out the window. She was running late this morning, like usual, and while she rarely stressed about showing up late to a class, today she was frantically trying to get ready for the Activities Fair that had probably already begun.

Sam had promised her last night that he'd come over this morning to wake her up early, so she had put off straightening her hair and ironing the sundress she wanted to wear. Now, as she glanced at the clock, she was certainly regretting it. Her hair was a mess of knotted brunette waves, her closet filled with wrinkled clothes that had been only pulled out of her suitcases a few days ago, and to make matters worse, her phone was nowhere to be found. Even if she wanted to text Sam to yell at him, she couldn't.

"Would someone call my phone?! It literally disappeared!" she shouted as she poked her head out of her bedroom door. Misplacing things was Zoey's specialty but since she hadn't been drinking last night, she was even more annoyed with herself for losing it. Luckily, just as she finished her request for help from the Zetas, she heard her phone beep. She darted towards the source of the sound and after a bit of rummaging, managed to pull it out from underneath her mattress.

After retracting her earlier statement to the other girls in the house, she tossed the phone onto her bed without reading the text she had gotten. She assumed it was Sam, and decided that she would complain to him later, but for now, she had to make herself look half-decent and get out the door. After one last look through her closet, she shimmed out of Sam's sweatpants and the tanktop she had been sleeping in and replaced it with a casual, definitely last-minute, outfit: tiny white jean shorts, a long-sleeved t-shirt with the sleeves rolled up, and a pair of sandals. She did her best to brush out her dark tresses but didn't have enough time to do anything with the loose waves besides brushing them out. She wasn't thrilled with the look but decided to leave anyway. After a countless number of early morning classes, she knew how to rock the "just rolled out of bed" look by now.

She didn't pass any of the other Zetas as she hurried out of the house, but did stop to chat with some familiar faces on her way to the fair. Zoey definitely had more friends than enemies, and her social nature made it almost impossible for her to skip a friendly conversation, even if she knew that she needed to be somewhere else. The normally ten minute walk probably took her around thirty, but luckily, when she arrived, the Zeta booth was occupied by Naomi and at least one or two sophomore girls.

"Blame Sam for making me late," she announced upon arrival. The bitter remark was met with a playful tone and smile, however, as she took a seat next to her best friend. A grin instantly appeared on her face when she spotted the plate of baked goods, but she resisted grabbing one of the delicious-looking brownies on the tray. "That's what smelled so good when I came in last night," she reasoned out loud. She knew that the house had smelled exceptionally sweet when she had come in from helping Sam unpack and organize his room the prior evening. Although Naomi's cooking was always on spot, she would give the freshman a chance to sample the goods before she devoured them. "So, what's on the agenda for today?" she questioned as she glanced at her phone for the first time all morning. She was only then seeing Naomi's text, but obviously didn't need to respond now. However, she did have someone else she needed to text.

To: Sam
Thx for waking me up on time!!!!!!! Best bf ever!!!

The Beta members were filing out of the fraternity house like a moving crew. Instead of carrying their luggage into the house, as they had done days earlier, today they were hauling out their Activities Fair equipment. Along with the expected items with information on the fraternity, the boys were carrying grills and coolers filled with steaks, burgers and hot dogs. The Beta Gamma Omega name spoke for itself, but the extra incentive of some good food couldn't hurt their prospective of nabbing the most promising freshman guys. Besides, anyone who knew Jack knew that he'd never pass up an opportunity for some good barbecuing.

Jack stood outside the front door of the Beta house, clipboard in hand, as he made sure everything was in order for the event. The clipboard was more for the show than it was for any real organizational reason, but he did check off every section of his "needed supplies" list as he watched them being carried out by Betas. "Phillips, there better not be any alcoholic shit in that cooler," he commented as one of the sophomores stepped past him. The slight frown and sudden about-face made Jack shake his head. "Let's keep it classy today, men. We're looking to attract Beta material - not the trash we leave for the Sigmas." He gave a mock salute to a few more passing guys who were lugging out tables and grills, and then glanced down at his list. Everything seemed to be taken care of. Today was guaranteed to be a success.

"Disney, make sure those get set up next to the Zetas. We don't want the smoke blowing on our Alpha ladies," he said with a smirk as Antonio and a couple of others began to carry out some of the grills. He hadn't seen Naomi yet this week and what better way to welcome her back than by reminding her that his fraternity topped her sorority any day? Of course, he also expected, and admittedly enjoyed getting a reaction from her. Their public relationship wasn't nearly as intimate as it was in the bedroom, but it was almost equally as passionate. Just in a different, less-than-friendly way.

Jack grabbed a water bottle from a passing box and emptied it in a matter of seconds. "Don't let any of these rookies burn that before I get down there, Atkins," Jack said light-heartedly as Bennett moved by with a cooler filled with meat. Just as he had with Antonio, Jack saw a lot of his own qualities in Bennett and had developed a stronger bond with him than some of the other younger Betas. As President, he knew that he had to essentially be a "Big Brother" to all of the younger guys, but some of them were easier to connect with than others. "And you make sure Elysia knows that's top-of-the-line organic steak too. Mom and Pop Reynolds don't skimp when it comes to funding Beta events."

When the last of the Betas had exited the house, Jack followed the group towards the center of campus where the event was being set up. He was pleased with how everything was looking. As he hoped and expected, the Betas were going to dominate the fraternity scene. It wasn't like there could be much competition anyway. The Kappas were just as exciting as watching paint dry and while Jack had respect for Miles, the Sigmas weren't even comparable to the Betas. Sorority wise, Jack planned on heading to the Alpha stand, but first, he needed to make sure that he could get a rise out of the Zetas.

"Looks good, guys," he commented as he toured the area that the Betas had set up their booth and grills in. As directed, it was stationed nearly on top of the Zetas. With a satisfied smile, he stepped towards the stand that Naomi, Zoey and one or two of the other Zetas sat behind. "For someone who's supposed to be a decent cook, I'm disappointed to see that this is all you could come up with, Malone," he said, shaking his head as he helped himself to a cookie from their table. There was no question that Naomi could cook, and Jack knew it first hand. Although their relationship was usually only sexual, they did occasionally hang out on the down low. Some time last year, there had been a larger-than-normal Sigma party that left the Beta house empty for a few hours. The two definitely spent some time in the bedroom but was probably even more memorable was the food she had whipped up after. He was still convinced that he was more savvy in the kitchen, but the night certainly solidified the attraction he sometimes hated having for her.

“Ate Wankantanka, Mitawa ki, wazi ya tanhan, ka te na Wa ska ki u ya ye ki, Hena un taku ya kage ki, ya glu ska kta, he ca nu. He iye cel, Wakantanka, Anpetu ki le, Micante Ki Mi ci yu ska ye, He cel tohanl, nitokab woyasu ki el, wahinajin ki, ima ya cu kta.” Elysia's voice was filled with serenity as she held her tree pose, facing the slowly rising sun that was nearly at its peak in the blue sky above. Her eyes were closed and her head was canted to one side as she prayed, feeling the familiar presence of peace ebbing through her veins as she completed her morning ritual. She dropped her leg so that she stood firmly on both feet, bowing to the golden orb that peeked over the trees as if in worship.

“Ate Wakantanka, Wiyohiyanpatan, wi hin nape, ki, He ciya tanhan Wiconi oyasin, hin na pe ki, Wiconi mitawa ki el, anpetu wanji a ke mi qu, Heon wo pi la eci ci ye, micante ki eciya tanhan.” She finished her prayer and exhaled slowly before rolling up her yoga mat and dashing indoors, closing the balcony door behind her. Checking the clock, she saw that it was precisely eight-thirty, giving her enough time to grab breakfast while the sophomores set up Alpha Theta Pi's booth.

She was in and out of the shower in a flash, leaving her bathroom [and her body] smelling of pomegranate. She went through all necessary hygiene procedures that included moisturizing, brushing her hair, and assuring that her tattoos weren't fading. Her eyes narrowed as she looked at her shelf and noticed that a bottle of her hair conditioning was missing [again] and knew that it was probably Natalie... Again. Angry, the cogs within her mind were sent to work as she thought how to deal with the issue. Public humiliation was always a good way to send a message.

It wouldn't be the first time that Elysia had done so to one of the Alpha girls. However, she was far angrier than that. Had it been a first offense, she wouldn't really worry too much, but it wasn't the case. She'd received a number of complaints about the Junior last year for borrowing things from other girls and forgetting to return them. She would even sometimes just straight up take things without asking. Like now. With Elysia's conditioner. Elysia could obviously afford to simply order more of the expensive organic and natural product, but it was the waiting and the principal. She wasn't going to order another bottle and wait two weeks for it to be shipped from Athens and she would make it known that theft wasn't condoned in the sorority.

Sighing in an agitated way, she found that her day had been fouled before it had truly begun. She still had the chance to make the best of it, slipping into one of her many, many, many formal Alpha outfits before fixing her hair in a fashion that was both simple and elegant, soon after applying a light layer of makeup that didn't scream Look at me!, but rather...enticed, as she would say. The vain young woman was pleased with her appearance, admiring her reflection for a bit before deciding that she really needed to get a move on.

She grabbed her favorite green clutch and headed into the hallway. Unlike the other girls, she didn't have to share her room with anyone. It was one of her favorite perks of being President -- She hated sharing a room during her freshman and sophomore years simply because she never got to share a room with a girl that she liked. It wasn't a secret that their former president, Mariah Monroe, didn't get along. The racist little bimbo had been far more than pissed when Elysia was voted in as their President.

Smiling, she only wished that she had more time. While she didn't like everyone in the sorority, she always had their best interest at heart. She gave gentle smiles and paused every now and then to help one of her sisters zip up or apply eyeliner. It was mostly just juniors still hanging around and getting ready; She had the sophomores up and out the door at six o'clock to get everything ready. Of course, she had sent a few seniors and juniors with them to make sure that they didn't mess anything up. They had all been awake since five in the morning.

It wasn't that they had procrastinated; They had their boards and pamphlets ready to go last week. But they had spent most of the morning picking out outfits, giving each other manicures and pedicures, and rehearsing what to say to rushers as well as cooking. She knew that Beta Gamma Omega, their brother house, had meat on the menu. She also knew that Zeta Nu Delta, their "rival" house, had baked goodies on the menu. Elysia planned to one-up everyone and had brought her girls together to bake their famous three tier Alpha Theta Pi chocolate-red velvet-vanilla cake, embellished with stripes and polka dots and flowers. She saw that some of the girls were downstairs now, going the extra mile and making cake pops to take out to the booth along with something truly drool-worthy.

“Amodini! Are those your homemade pita chips and cranberry apple pecan feta dip?!” She gave an excited squeal and clapped rapidly as the Indian young woman turned and smiled with flour all over her face. “Yes, ma'am!” Elysia congratulated her on her exceptional work with their sweets, surprised and delighted to find out that Amodini had added vegetable and dip trays to the menu. Amodini was one of her favorites, though it might have something to do with the fact that she was two years older than her and more mature than most of the other girls. She flaunted it sometimes, teasing Naomi. Elysia could certainly put her foot into her food when she wanted to, having spent many a time having cook-offs with Jack when they were kids, but she enjoyed not having to cook. She admired everything and grabbed one of the breakfast burritos that had been served, quickly munching it down as fast as she could without messing up her lipstick or getting anything on her clothes.

She grabbed a bottle of soy milk on her way out with the other girls, heading to the designated for their booth. It wasn't that too far away and she was ecstatic to see everything put together. The Alphas always went over the top when setting up their booths because they aimed to attract a particular crowd. They all dressed formally, flaunting expensive mani-pedis, wrinkle free clothes, and matching colors. They all sported the signature colors of Alpha, emerald, pearl, and rose, so it was easy enough to tell them apart from the other sororities. It wasn't something that they had practiced before, but Elysia had assured them that it showed a sense of unity and precision. It also prevented some of the girls from showing up in less than impressive outfits. She had hired – okay, she didn't hire them so much as she simply told them – a few random guys from around the campus to help the girls carry everything to their table, which was set up right across from the Zetas.

“Lay he hun nee key lee la washtay!” She called out to her girls in her familiar Lakota greeting that most of them knew by now, her accent coming to the surface as she waved. She could see Betas on the horizon, heading for their booth set up on the other side of the Sigma booth. A smirk crossed her features for no particular reason but was quickly replaced by a soft and welcoming smile as she mentally prepared herself for meeting the new prospects. She gave Naomi a soft nod of acknowledgment as she passed before taking her own seat, sitting with her knees tilted to one side and her hands folded politely upon her lap.

“Put your best smiles on, ladies!” Her brown eyes -- for once, she wasn't wearing colored contacts -- scanned the area and she spotted Zoey Brady, lifting her chin in thought. She hadn't seen Grace all morning and she was sure that the alcoholic would know where she was. Not that Elysia was going to ask. She sighed and wondered if Emerson would be around soon, turning her head and smiling at the guys as they finished setting down the Alpha's massive cake, thanking them softly with a sultry smile and a gentle hand over theirs before she sent them off. She glanced at Naomi, a triumphant smirk on the competitive female's face. Her eyes moved to see Jack and his Betas nearby, a soft smile on her face. She didn't move to greet them just yet, pulling out her phone and texting with a wicked gleam in her eyes.

It didn't take long for Zoey to show up and when she did, Naomi could definitely tell the girl was not ready for the day. Luckily, this was only for a few hours and there would be a jamboree later for Zoey to actually be prepared for. Naomi found herself laughing at the expression on Zoey's face as she explained why she was running late and nodded understandingly. "I don't know why you even asked Sam, he's just as bad as you are with time. You should have just called me," she told her best friend. It was always great knowing that her best friends were together and she could just hang out with them. However, a smirk flitted across her face and she said, in a lower register so that the other Zetas couldn't hear, "Besides, I'm pretty sure he'll be more than willing to make it up to you later." She winked for good measure, waving at a few Thetas she had remembered from her freshman year as they set up their stand. It took a moment for her attention to return to her best friend, Naomi's mind preoccupied with looking for someone she shouldn't even be worried about. However, a moment later, she glanced back at Zoey, "You'll see."

Naomi felt pretty satisfied with what the Zeta Nu Deltas had provided. In their signature royal blue and gold colors, their booth was big enough to bring attention to them, but not showy. They were a lot of things: wild, reckless, flirtatious, seductive, and impulsive. But on a real level, the Zetas weren't the show-offs of Fulton University. They didn't need to be, partly because showing off suggested an ego neither the Zetas or Sigmas would show off just to gain attraction. They did that any day of the week. It was also partly due to the fact that there were other organizations whose livelihood was showing off because that was all they were ever good for. Speaking of, she saw the Alpha and Beta booths being set up and to roll her eyes at the massive size, particularly eyeing the Betas since they were standing so close to the Zetas. Before she could even question where he was, Jack was there and in Zeta territory.

"Well, if it isn't the King of Douchebaggery," she said, loud enough so that he could hear but also mostly to her girls as if the Beta wasn't even standing before their table. Seconds later, he was making commentary on her food and Naomi smirked to herself before allowing her gaze to meet his eyes, unflinching and poignantly unaffected. "Well, your Royal Assholeness, if I knew I were baking to impress your very refined tastes, I would have simply put frosting on cardboard." After close to three years of going back and forth with Jack, Naomi's retorts bordered on nonchalant and unbothered sarcasm, only rising to aggravated rage once he pushed her. Which Jack seemed to love doing for reasons Naomi didn't want to even attempt to delve into. For now, however, she was more than willing to dish out sub-par ammo. After all, Jack seemed to always expect a fiery retort from her, which was hilarious because after all this time, he should know her better. She wasn't going to stoop to his level - not yet anyway.

Still with a smirk on her face, Naomi allowed herself to cast a weary glance over at the Betas before a flash of blonde caught her attention across the field. Elysia and some of the other Alphas had finally arrived and before their 'competition' could begin, Elysia had given Naomi a brief show of cordial acknowledgement. A small smile made the corners of her mouth twitch slightly, but she didn't allow her gaze to stay on the Alpha president for too long. Jack was still there and Naomi wanted him gone. There was only so long she could pretend like she wasn't affected by his closeness. Slowly, Naomi stood and walked around so that she was in front of the Zeta booth, standing directly in front of Jack to assure that he maintained a distance from the safe space of her girls. She almost had to give herself a minute since besides the various food odors outside, she could practically taste Jack's body wash with this proximity. Focus, her mind had to shout. One more glance at the massive display the Betas called a booth and she said, "I am actually impressed, Reynolds. A booth big enough to house your ego..." She gave him a slow once-over, eyes raking over the athletic form before meeting his gaze again. "Now, if you don't mind, we'd like you to move. Too much douchebag in one location might ward off potential members. We don't need that kind of stench in our territory." Once that was said, she glanced back over at the Alphas, the perfect picture of suburban housewives as they preened in their pink and green. Elysia seemed rather pleased with her display and while Naomi had to say that she was impressed, the Alpha president didn't really think all Naomi had done last night was bake, right? If you're going to send spies, the least you could do is be prepared for retaliation, she had said last night as she finished with her last pan of brownies and had begun to work on a completely different project.

Just as the thought struck her mind, her favorite people had decided to make their appearance. "Hello, my loves! Bring them over here!" Naomi had been correct earlier. Zetas and Sigmas didn't necessarily need to show off. It didn't mean that they didn't, per say. Besides, whenever Elysia or even Jack was involved, Naomi's competitive side like to rear its ugly head and well, the result was perfection. A few of her Sigma brothers came in with coolers for the sodas the brother/sister houses had already bought and then another set were carrying trays of mini sliders, which had just come out the oven. She had gotten a few of the Zetas to watch the food while she was at the station since she had promised she would be at work earlier. She ushered them over, eyes raking over the spinach artichoke dip with homemade chips, the loaded baked potato skins, the cheesecake Naomi had let set in the fridge last night which was decorated in the Zeta colors with their Greek letters on top. That would go in one of the emptier coolers with just ice until they felt it necessary for it to come out. After taking one of the pecan bites for herself, Naomi smiled wickedly at the minor-friendly Jell-O-shots whose contents were the Zeta colors and had to glance back over her shoulder at the Alphas, particularly at Elysia whom she flashed a very sweet smile. This is war. And she was more than pleased that her sponsor and big Zeta sister was willing to help out.

Once checking what they had so far and the guys going over to finish up setting up for the Sigmas, Naomi pranced back around the table to sit beside her bestie, grinning at Zoey. "I might have gone overboard this year." She said, her grin only widening.

Jack smirked as Naomi fired back a few insults of her own. He tried to pinpoint what it was about her that turned him on. Could it have been the accent? The attitude, maybe? He did appreciate anyone with confidence. However, it wasn't like Elysia turned him on this way, or even Grace. Something had to be different about this girl to have such an impact on him and it was getting to a point where he needed to figure out what his feelings for her really were, and where they came from. "You're telling me that isn't what this is?" he questioned, returning to reality as he tossed the bitten cookie back onto the plate as she referenced icing covered cardboard.

He straightened up as she stepped around the table and in front of him, and he didn't do a good job at hiding his look-over of her as well. It was brazen, but as far as his Beta brothers knew, Jack was just over here to remind Naomi of her place and stir the pot a bit. That was all they needed to know, too. At her request for him to move, he put his hands up in a surrendering motion and took a few steps back towards the Betas. "Alright, alright. But hey, if you ladies want any Beta meat, just shout my name," he smirked. He was going to leave them with the innuendo, but couldn't help himself but to add in one more comment. "Or better yet, scream it. Zoey, you'll show 'em how to do it, right?" He hadn't acknowledged his fellow senior before, but gave her a cheeky grin and wink before making his exit.

The Activities Fair welcomed organizations from all across campus but judging by the stands set up, it might as well have just been a Greek fair. None of the other booths were comparable to the over-done displays that the fraternities and sororities sat behind. Not like Jack was complaining though, because between the Betas superb grilling skills and the picture-perfect look the Alphas had going on, the brother-sister houses were destined to dominate again this year. Any rusher that they wanted would be theirs by the end of the week. That was something that he was sure of, and something he knew Elysia was sure of too. He spotted the blonde seated in front of the Alpha table looking nothing short as perfect as she instructed her girls to complete the finishing touches to their area.

What surprised him wasn't the massive cake set beside her, or the matching outfits the girls wore. He was more shocked to see that neither Grace nor Emerson were seated at the table yet too. Emerson's absensce was peculiar for the obvious reason of her being a senior Alpha and more so, Elysia's current girlfriend. Grace could very well have been still at the house finishing some task Elysia had set for her. It wouldn't have been too surprising, considering that the president tended to be harsh on the junior, but he would have expected Elysia to want the whole gang to be there by the time the fair started. If nothing else, Grace was unarguably a good representation of the Alphas aesthetically speaking.

He knew that he should properly greet Elysia but decided to wait a while. Even if she looked calm and collected, the perfectionist inside of her was probably stressing about making sure that everything was on-point, and he didn't want to get in the way. Plus, he kind of wanted to wait for Grace to show up. Maybe he'd get lucky and would start the year off with her with the same connection he felt for Naomi. That would make things a lot easier, to say the least.

"Dan, how's the food looking?" he called out to the junior Beta who he hoped was monitoring the younger guys manning the grills. As he waited for a response, he took a seat in front of the Beta table and examined a stack of pamphlets that one of the guys had set down on the end of it. He had to admit, they looked pretty good. It outlined all of the recognition that the Betas had received for their service work, the many notable Beta alumni who had gone on to become majorly successful, and many of the other boast-worthy points of being a Beta.

Antonio was not an early riser. In fact, he preferred to sleep in, basking in the comfort of his blanket. However, it wasn't even ten before the sound of fists beating on doors, feet running up and down stairs, and a flurry of swears filled the halls of the Beta Gamma Omega fraternity house. Antonio sighed and dragged himself out of bed before his roommate had, reaching the shower first. Always the polite one, he didn't spend any more than twenty minutes with his bathing. He didn't even bother styling his hair that much, just running his fingers through it and using some gel to keep the spikes in place. He had shaved the night before so he wouldn't have to worry about it today, exiting the shared bathroom quickly for his roommate.

“S'all you, man!” He gave the other sophomore a pat on the back and waited until the door had been closed before he dropped his towel and began to work his way into his clothes. He was normally seen around campus looking dressy, a fan of button downs, vests, and a good pair of non pleated dress pants. However, he stuck with a pair of straight fit jeans, a blank tank top, and a black and red plaid button down over that. Just because he was looking to recruit dudes today didn't mean that he couldn't talk to some ladies. He slipped his beanie onto his head, letting some of his spikes peek out from under the front, and sprayed some of his favorite Antonio Banderas brand of cologne on before heading out.

He was downstairs and in the kitchen in an instant, needing only his phone, snatching a muffin out of Jason Phillips' hand and quickly dodged a punch aimed for his ribs. “Oh! Gotta be faster than that!” His Hispanic accent was thick as he laughed his way to the fridge, grabbing a bottle of coconut milk, gulping it down as though it were the elixir of everlasting life. Everyone in his fraternity knew that he had a serious problem, never going any longer than an hour without having at least a sip of the stuff. He couldn't help it though; His mother was always introducing him to new foods and coconut milk had been his favorite drink since he was five years old.

He finished his drink quickly before putting himself to work helping the others get ready to put together their booth. He was excited for his first Rush Week as an actual member rather than a pledge.

He was tasked by Jack to help carry out the grills and make sure that they were set up near the Zetas. He smirked and gave a light nod. “You got it, jefe!” He turned towards the others and motioned for them to follow him as they began filing out. “You heard the man! Let's go see how long it takes Naomi to pop a vein.” He laughed with his fellow brothers as they continued on, spotting their site eventually. Just as Jack had asked, he guided the grill-bearers right next to the Zeta booth. He glanced over to see a number of Alpha girls fixing their hair and setting up their goods. As he was not one of the guys tasked to barbecuing, he gave Jack a wave while his President bickered with Naomi, taking himself over to the Alpha booth. He basked in the immediate smiles and waves but took to standing in front of Elysia. “You said you had something for me...?”

He had gotten a text on the way there, Elysia telling him to come and see her. He watched curiously as she reached under the Alpha's table and pulled out a gift box wrapped in their colors. His brow shot up as he took it, quite gingerly, and inspected it. “Calm down, Disney. It's not a prank. Just open it,” she huffed. Antonio gave her a long stare before opening it, balking at what was within. “Is this the new Canon?!” It was a rhetorical question, as he knew that it was. “These aren't supposed to hit the shelves until next year! How did you...?” He gave her an incredulous look as he dropped the box but held onto the camera. Elysia was clearly irritated by him simply dropping the box, shown in her eyes rolling as she picked it back up and put it back under the table. “My uncle got it from his photographer who has it because... He's Marc Jasal. ”

Okay. That sort of explained things. “Okay... So, why give it to me?”

Elysia gave a light smirk and nodded towards Naomi, her voice lifting in an obvious move so that the Zeta President would hear her. “Because I want the pictures to look absolutely perfect while you document Naomi's disappointment as we – again – rock the Rush Week.” Antonio gave a laugh at this, with Elysia not at her, and gave a nod. “Alright, I can do that.” He checked to make sure that an SD card was already in place and Elysia tapped his shoulder as he stood.

“Also, don't forget to get shots of us,” she said as she motioned to her and the other lovely ladies behind her. Antonio gave a nod of affirmation before taking a few steps back. “Alright, let's break it in! Get together, ladies! Big smiles!” He waited until the had all gathered, forming two lines on either side of their booth, all of them striking comically outrageous poses. Once he'd taken the picture, they all dissolved into laughter. “We'll catch a serious photo later, when every Alpha is here. But... For now.”

Antonio watched as Elysia motioned for two more tables to be brought in and he couldn't help but to balk some. When Elysia and Naomi competed, they really competed.

Naomi had to roll her eyes as Jack left because, as usual, he just had to have the last word. "Prick," she found herself grumbling as she found herself much too focused on the back of his head, but it was loud enough for Zoey to hear. A few of the other Zetas told her they were going back to the house to get other things and Naomi smiled them off, twirling a few curls in her fingers. She had just reached over to snatch up the half-eaten cookie Jack had placed back down on their table when her phone pinged at receiving a text. Tossing the soiled food away, she pulled her phone out and smirked at the text from Miles, rolling her eyes. "I'm beginning to think it's a Sigma thing, being late and all," she told Zoey just as two girls who were obviously freshmen came over.

"Hi, I'm Danielle. And that's Katy. You're from the radio, right?" The redhead said and her blonde friend waved, taking in the assortment of foods, which had actually warranted them getting an extra table. "Yep, NomiIzMe, but you can call me Naomi. I'm the president of the beautiful Zetas of Zeta Nu Delta." The girls beamed down at Naomi's warm smile, which was definitely brighter than the earlier reserved smirk of contempt she had reserved for Jack when they were in public. It was brighter and friendly, a mix of sweetness concealing devilish intent and a bit of the Zeta signature. 'Cool, my sister was a Zeta. Class of 2008." Danielle exclaimed and Naomi nodded with a brighter smile. "Then that already makes you an honorary little sister. Before you eat anything, you both have to do one Jell-O-shot and post a pic of yourselves with at least one Zeta on all of your social media sites." Naomi had purposefully chosen their entrees as items to party in. This wasn't a tea party, this was an Activities Fair. There would be something from every sorority and there was also a big party afterwards. She wasn't trying to be unfair and disallow the freshmen from experiencing the wholeness of their Rush Week. The two girls gave each other an excited look before each taking a shot, which Naomi was quick to replace, and downing it at the same time. The Zeta booth roared with excitement and to her surprise, Danielle had been the first to whip out her phone and posed somewhat over the booth with Naomi and her friend. Grinning, Naomi smooched the redhead's cheek, already liking her. "Don't forget to check out all the other booths. And don't forget about us for Saturday night." While there was a rivalry between all of the Greek organizations, Naomi made it a point for every freshman to check out all of the booths. Not because she was trying to win brownie points or a good Samaritan award, but because it was fair. A guy might find he likes partying just as much as every other Sigma, but felt more at home with people who were as studious him, like with the Kappas. Why should anyone force their sorority on someone without giving them a chance to look at all their options?

She still needed to work out the logistics with Miles, but she had plans for Saturday for both the Sigmas and the Zetas and it was to be off campus. No huge dinner party or spa date like the Alphas typically threw, or some guys' night like the Betas, but definitely something fun. She was in the middle of texting one of her girls when she heard a familiar voice. ”Want to kill me now or would you like to wait for after the fair?” Her smile was wide and toothy and Naomi rushed from her side of the booth to throw herself at the Sigma president, arms wrapped tightly around him despite seeing him just a few days ago and her feet leaving the ground for only a few seconds. She giggled a bit before pulling away, grinning up at Miles as she replied, "If I kill you, who else is gonna give me piggy back rides, love?" She added a wink for good measure before seeing her second favorite sorority booth being set up, and glanced back at Zoey and Miles. "Be right back."

On her way, she had glanced back over at Elysia to see the Alphas adding more tables to their side and had to smile, a giggle bursting past her lips. Elysia didn't really think this was a banquet, right? It was nearly 94 degrees outside, she had her girls out in blazers and ridiculously high heels, and they were set up like they were having a luncheon with the first lady of Fulton U? Who the hell did the Alpha president think she needed to impress? Obama? She shook her head and when she met Elysia's gaze, she offered the Alpha president a mock salute. For a second, she paused by the Betas tent before reaching over the booth and pulling a water bottle out of one of the coolers. A sophomore Beta was quick to complain, but she shot him a look before glancing at Phillips and Jack and said sweetly, "Thanks, boys. Hi, Benny," with the last part being directed at Bennett. Not sparing Jack another glance, Naomi waltzed over to the Theta booth, hips swaying in their naturally entrancing way as if on a rhythm that only she could feel. She glanced at her phone again when it alerted her to another text and hurried to send a quick response just as she reached the Thetas.

To: Karma
Np :D Ur perfect n ur gonna do fine. Just check out evry 1. They're gonna luv u

"Well, if it isn't my second favorite group of ladies," she exclaimed upon her arrival, making sure to smile especially brightly for Poppy. A fellow Junior, Lianne, gave her a mock look of contempt. Lianne and Naomi had connected freshman year and while they weren't besties, like with Poppy, the two were still extremely close and seemed to always joke with each other. Lianne had been perfect from day one; she was the current student body president, captain of the volleyball team Naomi played on, and a political science major with dreams of someday joining the UN. And with the same amount of sass that defined Naomi. "You're still a traitor." Naomi only preened. "And you still love me, traitor and all," she replied smartly and though the brunette rolled her eyes, she hugged the Zeta anyway and the others, particularly Giselle who also offered a wink, waved and greeted her. Finally, Naomi's gaze specifically on Poppy, whom she was quick to hug. "I couldn't go the day without hugging my favorite Theta, now could I?"

Zoey shook her head but couldn't stop herself from grinning when Naomi referenced how Sam would have to make it up to her later. She was definitely right about that. Zoey's mood wasn't easily dampened, and Sam forgetting to wake her up on time wasn't enough to ruin her day, but it had offset her vibes. Although it would only take seeing his adorable face for a second for her to forgive him, she was getting impatient. He hadn't even responded to her text, nonetheless shown his face yet this morning.

It shouldn't have surprised her when the Beta boys set up camp only a few feet away from the Zeta booth, despite an excessive amount of open space elsewhere. Just like the Alphas, the brother house had to make sure all eyes were on them. In one way, that wasn't horrible - nearly every member of the fraternity was easy on the eyes, but that didn't combat their distasteful personalities. There was no better person to represent the Beta guys than Jack Reynolds himself; the most arrogant and entitled smart ass of them all. As if on cue, the President approached the Zeta booth and didn't waste a moment before unleashing a few jabs at Naomi. They only evoked an eye roll from Zoey, who knew well enough that the back-and-forth digs shared between the two house leaders had more emotions than cattiness behind them. No one else would know enough to sense the sexual tension between the pair (yet, at least) but Zoey had gotten the secret out of Naomi last year. Naomi was her best friend, which meant that Zoey wanted the best for her, and Jack Reynolds certainly was not the best. However, she knew that what the two had wasn't anything serious as of now, and that meant that she didn't feel the need to put a stop to it. Naomi knew better than anyone what Jack's true colors looked like. She would know better than to fall for someone like him.

As Naomi got up and spoke told Jack to excuse himself, she turned her head backwards, scanning the small group of Zeta girls who were setting things up. She couldn't see Amelia and Sierra, which certainly surprised her, as they were two of her favorite Zeta pledges from last year. If Jack hadn't left with a parting cheap-shot to her, she would have inquired about their whereabouts with Naomi. His words caught her off guard though, and she was just happy that Sam wasn't there to hear it. Not only did she know it would have pissed him off, but she also had a feeling that he would have tried to pick a fight with Jack over it, and that wasn't something she wanted to deal with. She had slept with Jack during their freshman year rush week. He was cute, she was drunk, and it just kind of happened. Later she would find out that it was part of a hazing ritual that the Betas encouraged back then, but in the moment, she probably wouldn't have cared even if she knew. She wasn't embarrassed for having slept with him for a couple of reasons. One, he was undeniably attractive. Two, she was wasted, and three, she didn't know how annoying he was at the time. Naomi couldn't use reason three to justify whatever she and Jack were doing.

She nodded in agreement when Naomi muttered something about him being a prick. "Keep that in mind when you consider sneaking off with him tonight after the Jamboree," she said in an equally hushed tone. She was serious but spoke lightly because again, she didn't see Jack as being a big problem right now. She hoped that Naomi still had enough sense to just keep their relationship in bed.

When Miles approached, Zoey smiled softly in acknowledgment but wasn't nearly as excited as Naomi, who nearly jumped onto the boy. She was friends with Miles, but not exceptionally close. He frequently came to her with his girl problems but that was where their relationship ended, usually. There wasn't a lot of depth to it. Seeing his face reminded her of the texting conversation she had had with him a day earlier about Grace, which reminded her of her Alpha friend. She hadn't seen her all morning, which was unusual, seeing that probably all of Elysia's girls besides Grace were already at the booth.

To: Grace Drexler
I expect a hello from you. Come find me :*

After texting Grace, she nodded as Naomi dismissed herself and then glanced back at Miles. "Tell me that you've got something to spike these with at your booth," she said playfully as she grabbed one of the virgin Jello shots from the table.

Behind him the courtyard started to fill up with more former students and even more new students. The alumni have all started taking their places at their proper booths. The Alphas were setting up their booth, as well as the Betas and the Kappas. The houses were one by one lining their tables up and decorating their station to capture the attention of those they hoped seemed fit enough to be introduced to the world of Greek life. Miles one second had a girl around his neck and then the second after she was gone. That was Naomi for you though – thought Miles – the girl was a difficult one to hold onto and not many people did. It’s amazing that Miles and Naomi are such good friends in the first place. The two, at first glance, wouldn’t seem like the type of people to be friends, but in reality Naomi and Miles were the closest of friends one could imagine. As Naomi excused herself, Miles leaned over on the Zeta booth and dropped his face into his hands and groaned loudly, brushing his hands into his air and then looking back up and the girls at the booth. The girl that had been wrapped around his neck was saying hi to some sophomore who waved and smiled at her, as she continued to the Alphas table. Miles smiled at Zoey, who seconds after asked for anything to spike her virgin Jello-O shot. Miles chuckled to himself and stood straight up. “To be entirely honest, I might.” Miles pulled his phone out of his pocket to see a missed text from Kyle, who was now on his way to the booth. Miles rolled his eyes and shoved his phone back in his pocket. “I swear one of these days, I’m going to strangle him,” he said, more to himself rather than to anyone in particular, in reference to Kyle and his tardiness.

The Sigma booth was already set up and that’s probably because of the sophomores that always tried so hard to kiss ass to the seniors in the house. Miles nodded over to Zoey to follow him over to his booth. The Sigma President pulled his flyers out of his bag and set them down on the table in front of him. He had blue flyers with information about the Sigmas and what the fraternity was all about, the yellow flyers were advertisements in hopes to get some new freshman to sign up. He lined them up at the corners of the table to also hold down the tablecloth just in case a beach breeze blew by. In the middle of the table were a few clipboards with signup sheets. The booth was set up as a table, with a wooden stand above the table. Painted in blue and yellow across the painted white wooden plaque were the Greek letters for Sigma Chi Delta, ΣΧΔ, with the words Sigma Chi Delta underneath each letter, painted in blue, outlined in yellow. Against the two poles that held up the wooden slate above the table, was a black poster with pictures of events from the past and accomplishments of the house.

The table was nicely presented, it wasn’t anything exaggerated or over the top but it was nicely set up enough to grab someone’s attention. Along the side of the table were coolers with drinks in it, whether or not the drinks were alcoholic was nothing something that Miles would readily admit to but they didn’t hold the appearance of alcoholic drinks, and that’s all he would say on the matter. Miles also had a few of the bottles and cans spread across the table. One would be very well aware of which house this was when they walked by.

Miles propped his bag on his leg and pulled out a small bottle, he dropped his bag to the floor and tossed the bottle into Zoey’s hands. “Go wild girl.” Miles let his eyes wander around and he could see Kyle jogging in his direction. Miles was just about ready to rip him a new one but figured it’d be best for publicity if he did that else where, but he’d make sure that Kyle heard what Miles had to say. “Nice of you to join us, pal.” Miles sarcastically spit towards Kyle as he approached the table. “I’m going to go ahead and take it that you didn’t put any of this together? Looks fine but we could’ve done better, don’t you think?” Miles stepped around to the front of the table and looked at the table that was supposed to represent his fraternity. He had two hands on his hips and he simply sighed when looking at the booth. He shook his head, as if to say whatever and turned around to look back out at the courtyard. With his hands crossed now in front of his chest, he saw his ex girlfriend making her entrance to the courtyard and he suddenly felt a pain in his chest. He rolled his eyes and she made her way to her new girlfriend, Elysia. Miles was visibly upset about the two being together, and would rarely crack a smile when the girls were together.

Grunting because the light from the window successfully made it passed her dark magenta curtains, Amelia awoke to the familiar sound of her phone vibrating on a hard surface. Tossing herself over Amelia slowly ran her fingers through her velvet red hair, her eyes closed still basking in the comfort of her bed. "Mmm." after a few minutes of enjoying the plushness of her bed the dancer stretched out and yawned. The covers were halfway falling off the bed exposing her barely clothed body. All she wore to bed, all she ever wore to bed was either a tank top or T-shirt accompanied by underwear and last night was no exception, her sleeping attire consisted of a grey Harry Potter tank top that had the deathly hallows on it along with a pair of rather sexy looking panties.

Lazily stretching out her arm Amy managed to snatch her phone up without knocking it down since she was to lazy to turn her whole body leading to her not looking where her hand was searching. Upon unlocking it she was greeted with a rather cute picture of her brother holding his new King Corso pup. At the bottom of the picture text was a message.

From: Hyung
언니 야 ! 나는 마침내 그에게 이름을 함께했다 . 그것은 마끼 의 .
(Hey unnie! I finally came up with a name for him. It's Makki.)

Amelia smiled at the text from her brother, Makii was a cute name it meant the youngest one and Makii was the youngest pup out of his litter.

To: Hyung
이 형은 그 귀여운 이름입니다! 난 당신이 주어진 당신의 애완 동물 같은 귀여운 이름있는 줄 몰랐어! 롤
(Hyung, that's a cute name! I didn't know you were capable of given your pet such a cute name! Lol)

With that sent the dancer sat up in bed and yawned once more before getting her pretty butt out of bed. She shuffled her feet to the bathroom and went through her daily morning routine. Once finished she looked at the time as it read 9:00am. With a big smile on her face and the towel still wrapped around her from her shower, Amelia all but jumped into her outfit, grabbed her long board and was out of her room. She greeted her other sorority sister with her little regular spin and a snap of the fingers, they giggled though as they always do when she did that and the bright smile on Amy's face was all the same, bright and energetic. Amelia thought that she'd go down to the schools dance studio and get a warm up this morning before the events started and when she was this hyped up there was no stopping her. Even her sorority sister knew when she was in good mood and that little spin was what proved them right.

Placing her board on the ground, the dancer flipped through her phones playlist for a second before selecting a song, her favorite song she'd play when she was really excited or just feeling really good. She couldn't wait for the events to start and to recruit new people, plus she was all about making new friends. Getting onto her board, Amy kicked off and smoothly skated down the cement path. She had to restrain herself from dancing to the song, her legs anyway because from the torso up she was going at it.

"I don't wanna be without you girl! Got me slowly dying. Where did we go wrong my girl? Why can't we keep on trying? I don't wanna be without you girl! I gave my heart to you. Going outta my mind, cause I love you, I need you girl!" she sung the lines and backups, she sang absolutely everything.

The dancer skated, no cruised smoothly to the dance studio just singing and dancing with such passion yet fun. Once there she picked up her board and entered the building, finding it busy she frowned a bit but it faded fast. She wanted to share her excitement with someone so secretly she was hoping someone was here so she could dance with. Amelia spent no time plugging in her ipod and setting her things down but as soon as she did the dancer heard people outside the studio. The door opened and three of her dance partners walked through. This is a fracking miracle! she thought as she ran over to them practically tackling the first girl that walked in, Jessica. The names of the others were Minah and Alex but everyone called her Mini. These three were Amelia's best girls she has ever worked with and good friends.

"Hey guys I missed you, wanna dance!?" Amy was speaking fast like she did when she got too excited and her Korean accent was present, it always was when she talked really fast like that. They all agreed and laughed, Jessica patting Amy playfully on the head telling her how cute she got when she got all excited like that. Amy smiled much like a child would, with a bright smile and pecked the girls cheek. " Now let's get to work then!" shouted out Minah who looked just as energetic as Amy now. With a nod Amy got into position with the other girls, the music began to play and they began to dance.

The dancing just stopped after practicing it more than 10 times. They finally got it down and Amy laid on the floor a bit exhausted but still ready to do more. She had all but lost track of time and when the clock read 10:30 Amy decided to wrap up the practice there. The dancer had gotten good exorcise out of that was ready to take a quick shower and head down to the booth with her other sorority sisters. After bidding her girls goodbye she cruised back to the sorority house, took a shower and ate something. Sometimes Amelia had this habit where she wouldn't eat in the morning, it's not that she was starving herself it was more like she would forget because she would't feel really hungry. While getting dressed she ate a granola bar at the same time and when she needed both hands she would bite the granola bar and hold it there.

After she successfully got dressed and devoured that granola bar Amy packed her backpack with a variety of snacks. Opening her dresser she pulled out her feather bracelet and slipped it on then grabbed her beach ankle bracelet and put that on too. As she was checking herself out in the mirror her phone vibrated in her pocket and she took it out unlocking it and checking the message.

From: Naomi
Omw 2 the booth. 1 of u better b there

With a smile Amelia began to write back. Her fingers moved swiftly over the letters and in 10 seconds her message was done and sent.

To: Naomi
Aye, aye captain! On my way!

Grabbing her board, Amy was out the door again but this time she wasn't wearing any shoes, instead her shoes were in her backpack along with her socks. She thought that she'd go with no shoes on something she loved to do. Instantly when she got outside the campus was crawling with students, it was funny how a measly two hours can change everything. Amelia thought it wise to play her song before she began to ride because she wasn't about to flip through her phone and navigate through all these people, she was sure to fall. Once her song was played on loop the girl began her little trip down to the booth. Her feet were steady on the board but above her hips were a whole different story. She was working her body to the song and that half tank top and short shorts made it hard for boys to pay attention to where they were walking. Upon passing a group of boys she winked at them then sent one of her charming but sexy smiles towards them. Even though she was gay that didn't stop her from flirting with both genders especially the boys. The two girls that were staring at her though rather intensely from a booth, the Alpha Theta Pi's booth to be exact were greeted with a kiss blown to them.

They were dressed to impress of course, like always a rather good quality of theirs. In fact Amelia stopped in front of the two, they were girls she hung out at parties before maybe made out with once or twice. She wrapped her arm around the shorter one.

"Why hello there."

Her conversation with the girls was short, sweet and flirty. They told her to try one of their brownies and she humbly took it whispering a thanks to the girls ear that made her shiver. Satisfied with her teasing the asian took a bite out of the brownie and smiled that oh so vibrant childish smile of hers. "Damn, these are pretty good. Thanks for the sweets hun." and with that she crossed the concrete path to the Zeta's booth on her board but not without tipping her hat to Elysia with her friends right beside her. " Damn good job on the brownies, beautiful." her praise was joined by a smirk, a rather seductive one even though she didn't mean for it to come out like that. Maybe it was directed to Emerson? Whatever it didn't matter now, what is done is done and now she has a brownie so she was happy but when she saw the Zeta's booth her heart skipped a beat. Look at all this food and sweets.

Setting her board behind the booth, on the grassy part Amy walked up to Zoey and smiled. "Morning!" she said with a smile as she reached passed Zoey to grab a cupcake and began licking some of the frosting off of it. "Mmm, so whats up Zoe?"

Naomi's text message woke him up but it took another ten minutes for him to actually pull himself out of his bed. Sam knew that he was running late but wasn't too worried about it. He assumed that Miles and at least the sophomore Sigmas would already be down at the fair, working on their booth. As he grabbed a change of clothes and headed towards one of the bathrooms, he realized that a lot of other guys seemed to have slept in too. He caught a glimpse of Miles jogging downstairs and he passed Kyle on his way down the hall. There were probably a couple of sophomores at the booth so he still took his time as he showered and got dressed, but it was fitting that the Sigmas were a bit off schedule. As avid partiers, they always lived up to their reputation of sleeping in the next morning.

He was positive that he and Zoey had agreed that instead of him waking her up and getting breakfast together, that they would just meet at the fair. According to the sarcastic text message he just received from her though, she clearly had thought otherwise. He shook his head but instinctively smiled just at the sight of her name showing up on his phone. The pair bickered relentlessly but at the end of the day, loved each other unconditionally.

To: Zoey
Don't pin this one on me! U said u were gonna set ur alarm

He was already approaching the Activities Fair when he sent the text but wanted to get his side out before he found Zoey. God only knew he wouldn't be able to get a word of defense in when he was actually with her. Plus, he figured that he needed to check out the Sigma booth before wandering off to find Zoey. However, upon approaching the Sigma booth, he realized that he had killed two birds with one stone. Along with his brothers, he found Zoey stepping away from the booth, after accepting a bottle of something from Miles.

"Come on, really? It's noon and you've got freshman to make a good impression on," he said, plucking the bottle from her hands. He was grinning, but it was sourced more from just seeing her and not from her antics. She hated him for it, but he felt it necessary to police her drinking. It was one thing to do it at parties but even as a Zeta, she didn't need to be doing it now at the first event of the week. Naomi was the Zeta president, but as her right hand girl, he felt like Zoey needed to be mentally-present to help out today. After a swift kiss, he smiled at her and took a few steps closer to the Sigma booth. "I'll bring some food over to you in a minute." He doubted that his brothers had organized anything special, and especially not compared to whatever the Betas and Alphas would have put together. He was right. Miles was grilling Kyle for their display which Sam thought to be decent, but was definitely weak compared to its surroundings.

"I don't think we did too bad," he said as he approached the pair. "The douches will gravitate to Jack, the geeks to Emery, and we'll be left with the good ones," he shrugged. "I will say, though, that those burgers the Betas are cooking smell pretty good. You wanna grab some for me and Zoe?" he said. Sam didn't get along with Jack and wasn't close with any of the other Betas, but he knew that Miles was at least civil with Jack. Worst comes to worst, he figured that he could head over to Emery's booth and take some of whatever they were cooking for he and Zoey.

Naomi laughed fully at Gigi's quick response while Poppy made more of a retort towards her best friend. Naomi had loved their chemistry the second she had met the two and it always served to entertain her. She loved best friends like that - relationships like that. It was a shame Poppy was graduating this year while Gigi stayed, but the two of them would no doubt keep in touch after Poppy walked across the stage. "You guys are so..." Naomi didn't finish as two familiar faces flashed in her peripheral, one a bit closer than the other and already reaching the Theta table. Well, well. If it isn't my little "friend" from orientation. Miss me?" Sebastian Collins asked and Naomi grinned a bit, casting her eyes fully in his direction.

"Of course, love." She could still see him approaching and focused her attention and energy on Sebastian, at least until she could get the kid on the path of exploring the other booths. "Well, if someone would check his school email, he'd know that it's the Activities Fair. Go be productive and check out the booths. There's free food and all you have to do is hear everyone give you crappy information for two minutes." That thing was definitely behind Sebastian now and Naomi, tense already, cast the boy a weary look. And she was serious about calling Alexandri those terms because he didn't deserve to be acknowledged by his name and most of all, he didn't deserve to be anywhere near any of the Greek organizations. He wasn't good enough to be a Beta or a Kappa, and the Sigmas would chew him alive. He never needed to even consider looking at a fabulous Alpha or an intelligent Theta, and he damn sure didn't need to look at her beautiful Zetas. He needed to take the nearest flight back to Russia with his racist, bigoted, narcissistic, rude, insufferable -

Naomi didn't react much when he asked about her name. She simply stared blankly, willing him to get this on with so she could either curse his name to the lowest levels of hell or punch him like her cousin Sonny taught her back in the fifth grade when she was getting bullied, and her Nana had warned that if she came home with one more ripped uniform, the next thing that was going to be ripped was Naomi. Not only was his presence rancid, but the putrid scent of his cigarette floated to her nose, sending a wave of bile to her throat and disgust to her stomach, which she was beginning to think was more because she was in the bastard's presence, but what was she going to say? "I wanted to apologize for yesterday. It was wrong of me to judge you for the color of your skin and I am truly sorry. I'm not gonna ask for you to forgive me. Just wanted you to know that I feel bad for it."

Bullshit. Bullshit. Bullshit. Bullshit. Bullshit! That was the mantra going on in Naomi's head as she allowed his words to sink in, allowed them to ice over, but not heal the wound she had in her heart where her respect for him as an individual should have been, and she hummed monotonously. Because at the end of the day, those words don't come out, out of nowhere. No, they symbolized deep feelings of hatred and his apology was nothing more than the apology so many black people heard by the late eighties by white individuals they might have been in high school with who realized that if they didn't stop their racist ways, they could be excluded from opportunities that their white privilege would have already afforded him. And Naomi was in her right mind to tell him about himself, and yet...

Why bother? The anger fumed beneath the stony disposition she offered Alexandri, rankling in such a way that she could feel it deep in her bones. She was the youngest and first minority president of a Greek organization at Fulton University, known for being a predominantly white institute. She was in the top 5% of her class and top 10% of the entire school in terms of grade point averages. She was well-liked and she was the mature one in this situation, not this child - and yes, she was going to call him a child despite probably only being a year and some months older than him. The point of the matter is that she would be justified in simply calling him out, in not believing him and turning the little shit away. However, as her Nana and Poppy had taught her, forgiveness was bigger than hatred and her being as hateful as he had been would do no one any good. Besides, she wanted the freshmen to have fun - not him specifically, but all the precious babies - and her blowing up yet again wasn't going to do anything other than sour some people's moods. And she couldn't be the reason why no one came to the Zeta booth.

"Fine," she said with a flippant wave, tone as light as she could make it despite the edge she could feel clawing at her throat. "Pretend it never happened and let bygones be bygones." She didn't want to see Alexandri now and had half the mind to text Miles and Emery to not let them come even remotely near their tables. But she didn't. Naomi gestured to the other booths before saying, "You should go check out the other booths like all the other freshmen. It'll be fun and I'm sure one of them have free booze." That part came out because suddenly, Naomi was in a place where liquor needed to be her best friend or someone needed to play some music she liked. Feeling done with Alexandri, she dismissed him by turning her full attention to her girls, eyes falling more on Giselle for a moment than Poppy. Because she knew. She knew that between the two Thetas, Giselle knew - knew that Alexandri was a full-blown liar and Naomi was two seconds from giving him a shiner if he didn't get the hell away from or, or she didn't go back to her tent. Naomi hadn't even known that Andrew was there and nodded in his direction. Smiling tightly, she decided to bid everyone goodbye, "Alright, loves. Zetas have a lot of snacks if you want anything. I should go back before anyone decides to set out that cheesecake in this heat. See you at the jamboree tonight and you better wear something cute, Poppy." She gave the blonde a pointed look before moving back in the direction of her own booth, unscrewing the top to her bottle and taking a sip of the cool contents within, allowing them to chill the heat of her anger before she got back to her girls.

To her pleasure, Amelia was finally there and Naomi was quick to hug her little Zeta sister, surprising herself by needing affection - of all things - at the moment but not pulling away until the sophomore hugged her back. "Please tell me you've got some dance for us to perform because I've got music and a lot of excess energy to burn off right now." She and Amelia had danced to many times in their dorm to not have something up their sleeves, but Naomi was leaving it in the sophomore's hands to lead. Because if she really wanted to burn this excess energy, she'd either go punch Alexandri or snatch Jack up and fuck him in some unknown location. And another part of her was pretty sure she could do the former first and then still do the second, but that was bad and she wasn't trying to seem suspicious today. She also glanced over at Zoey, "And I was wrong. There needs to be alcohol. Tell me you've found some."

Zoey grinned as a bottle was tossed to her. "You're the best," she thanked Miles as she spun around to return to the Zeta table, only to almost run right into Sam. He snatched the bottle of liquor from her hands and made a comment about how it was only noon and she needed to focus on talking to the rushers and not drinking. With a roll of her eyes and some sass of her own, Zoey pulled the bottle back from his hands. "Thanks for the advice, but I've got my dad on speed dial for lectures like those." She knew that Sam meant well. He had his personal reasons for being way of alcohol and Zoey had proved that she could get slightly out of hand after one too many drinks, but she wanted him to be her boyfriend, not father. His good intentions aside- if she wanted to drink, you could bet your ass that she was going to drink whether Sam approved of it or not. After returning his peck, she nodded at his offer of food. "Don't take too long this time!" she warned, turning her head back after she had already started towards the Zeta booth.

She returned to her seat in front of the table and when she was convinced no one important was looking, she poured a small amount of vodka into a few random Jello shot glasses. We'll see who can handle the heat, she thought to herself, remembering how Naomi had instructed some of the freshman to take a shot when they got to the booth. She then topped one with a more-than-generous amount of alcohol and downed it herself. The best way to start a day.

After placing the bottle in a bag by her feet, she spotted Amelia approaching. She smiled instantly, knowing that the girl was usually nothing but cheer. "Hey! Nothing really. Naomi just ran off somewhere and I'm ready to go back to bed," she explained. "What about you? Where have you been hiding all morning?" It probably had something to do with dance since that seemed to be the girl's entire life. Not that Zoey blamed her. She had seen Amy dance before and the girl was quite good.

Zoey was glad to see Naomi return, not just because she loved her friend, but because she was getting tired of having to repeat the same speech to passing freshman every two minutes. Naomi had been voted president for a reason, and her enthusiasm and dedication to the sorority were two that topped the list. However, she didn't seem to be in as good of a mood as she had left in and maybe it was out of her own dislike for him, but Zoey wanted to blame Jack. Naomi's request for alcohol wasn't unusual and Zoey knew she was pulling a Sam, but she shook her head. "Do you really think a good citizen like me is going to give alcohol to two underage girls this early in the day?!" she asked sarcastically. Zoey was frequently the one making checklists of what types of liquor everyone wanted when she made her almost daily runs to the liquor store. Still, at least when she was sober, she did take on a bit of a maternal role in the house and since she had no plans to remain sober today, someone was going to need to be coherent enough to represent Zeta.

'Craziness is like heaven'.

Kellin woke up with an expression of pure horror. She'd slept in by not far off an hour more than she would usually and 20 minutes more than she could get away with. She sat up wide-eyed and her hair stretched out past her shoulder, static and an embarrassing mess. She groaned miserably when she caught a glimpse of her reflection in the rotating mirror resting on her bed side table as a constant reminder of her short comings. She swung her legs out of bed cursing bitterly as she scrambled around her room grabbing at clothes hanging out of drawers and chasing time to gather up her things before people noticed her absence downstairs. Diving into a pair of roll-up ripped skinny blue jeans, she hopped around her room and standing in the mirror, only half-dressed and 'flying low' she started raking a brush through her mess of hair and tried to get it looking at least slightly decent. Once she'd brushed it she realised she basically had a half straight and half crinkled look going on, so she voted for chucking it up on the top of her head in a slightly scruffy bun. Image She didn't even have time to put contact lenses in (to her own dismay) and had to clean her glasses on her loose floaty vest as she pulled it on over the top of a tighter black one. She checked herself in the mirror and became aware of the fact her zipper was completely forgotten and thankful she'd caught it before she left her room, she pulled it up and slipped into some beaten up burgundy converse. Grabbing a cardigan and pulling arm warmers on (more as part of her quirky fashion sense then for the practicality of wearing them) she ran out the door- her alarm ringing away still as she slammed the door behind her.

Tapping at her phone furiously, she was rushing out of her door as quickly as she possibly could; she typed out a message;

To Paige:
Over-slept like a year, cover for me? If it's needed? PLEASSSSEEEEE?

She had no recollection of what could have been going on today but she was certain, something was happening and it really worried her that she didn't remember. She knew obviously it was the best day back in classes and everything like that but there was something else, she was almost sure there was something else but then again, there probably wasn't since she didn't even know what day it was at this point in time. She made her way downstairs and then off towards the hall and she looked around at all the tables and blinked slightly, it felt busier than usual but that was probably the buzz about everyone coming back. She sighed slightly and with an exhausted expression made her way over to the Theta table and looked around at the others rubbing her forehead with a sigh of relief to be downstairs and to see that nothing too important seemed to be going on right that moment. She sat down, cross legged on her chair and sighed taking the moment to drink from the bottle of the water, she'd rammed into her bag on the way downstairs. Then she looked up as she put the drink away again and looked at the other's striking an all too typical 'Kellin' cheery smile.

"Hey guys! I have had the most insane morning so far- well not insane but busy- no dysfunctional," She corrected herself multiple times as she leant back in her chair, tilting her head back over the edge of it in exhaustion, wondering why on the first day back at school she had to be so late. She couldn't stop thinking how she must look like absolute shit and she'd probably forgotten everything she needed for that day but she kept cracking smiles and tried not to get all whiny and stressed about it. It was too late to fix any of it anyway, she should have been prepared and a thousand times more organised. I'll do that tomorrow, I'll be ready. She thought to herself and then she scoffed at the idea and shook her head almost amused Nah, no I god damn won't.

"Hey! Nothing really. Naomi just ran off somewhere and I'm ready to go back to bed, what about you? Where have you been hiding all morning?"

Childishly smiling Amelia held the lollipop to one side of her mouth as she ate the rest of the of the cupcake. " Aww and here I wanted to hug her good morning!" the dancer pouted slightly but it quickly turned back into that cute smile of hers.

" Well milady, I have been dancing all morning. I felt the groove and needed to let it out, I finally got that choreograph I was working on down!" she almost beamed with pride as she struck a comical superhero stance with her hands on her hips, valiantly looking towards the sky. The young woman laughed a bit at her own silly action after realizing it was a silly thing to do and dropped her hands.

Suddenly Amy felt arms around her and tilted her head back slightly enough to see who it was. She smiled again when she saw it was Naomi and turned in her arms to hug back. " Naomi!" she smiled and spoke a bit muffled because of the tight hug, not like she minded at all actually, she loved affection.

"Please tell me you've got some dance for us to perform because I've got music and a lot of excess energy to burn off right now."

Smiling to herself, Amy already knew what song she felt like dancing to. It was a routine the whole group new and had fun doing. Pulling her phone from her pocket she plugged it up to the small but loud portable speaking that amazing bass then went over to her backpack and slipped on her socks and shoes. The choreograph was a collaboration of both Amy and Naomi but there was also another song the dancer wanted to dance too but she thought she would leave that one for last, as a surprise because it was a fun little dance they haven't done in a while. "Request is mine, captain."

The song began to play and Amy flawlessly went with the grove, letting Naomi join in when ever she wanted. She knew that her sister knew the choreograph so she could jump in whenever she wanted with the correct moves. During the part of the choreograph where they had to do the patty cake Amy couldn't help but to laugh for that couple of seconds before returning to the foot movements. By the time the song finished, Amy wasn't at all tired she smiled and looked over to Naomi. "I've got a surprise for you." she cooed as she spun her hat back around and lowered it a bit so it looked like it covered her eyes.

Once more another song began to play and Amy couldn't help but to joke around a bit in the beginning and point towards Zoe signaling her to come over with a finger. This song was a three person dance and Amy had actually taught Zoe the whole choreograph for this song because of that reason. When that bass hit though so did Amy and hard, she caught Kellin from the corner of her eye as she danced and winked at her with a smirk. She did the same with random people watching her to grab their attention more making a few people blush. Amy also did winked at both Emerson and Elysia earning a rather interesting response from them.

After that good five minutes of dancing the dancer exhaled loudly. " That. Was. Awesome!" the girl didn't even notice the small crowd they had attracted around their booth. At least her dancing brought them some freshmen and she felt a bit accomplished about it. Without a second though the asian bowed with a bright smile then collapsed on the grass panting a bit then loudly exclaimed. " I wanna go to bed now!" which earned some laughs and giggles from the crowd.

For a second it looked as if she was going to fall asleep in the cool shade but instead Amy shot straight up walking over to Kellin. She crouched down next to her chair and greeted her with a kiss on the lips that took her a good second to pull away from. "Mmm, Morning beautiful." she smiled before holding her hand out to her. " Wanna dance? I think I got a nice smooth song we can dance too."

Leave it to Zoey to suddenly turn responsible when she received a request for alcohol. Not that Naomi wasn't appreciative for it since it did remind her that she was supposed to be behaving, and not being reckless. She sighed as Amelia returned her hug, sticking her tongue out at Zoey before exclaiming petulantly, "Thanks, mom. You suck." Naomi then turned her attention to Amelia fully.

She had fallen madly in love with Amelia's energy from day one and they've been close ever since. The fact that they connected that easily and they both were performers really solidified Naomi's love for her, which was why Naomi had been so happy when Amelia became her little sister. They spent a lot of time goofing off and choreographing routines at the Zeta house - too much time, really, but it was always fun. Naomi hadn't realized it until Amelia had gotten there, but the Zetas needed another person like that and if willing, she could definitely see Amelia as her vice-president next year and the possible president once Naomi graduated, but she wasn't going to tell the dance major that. Not yet, anyway. "You're the best." She said as Amelia set her IPod up. Suddenly, their music overpowered the Betas and Naomi could feel the familiar tingle of excitement in her soul once the music filled the space.

Naomi fell into the rhythm only a second after Amelia, beckoning a few Zetas who had seen Amelia and Naomi messing around with the song too many times to not pick up on a few moves. She moved seamlessly - free and unbothered by the obvious attention she was getting. That's what performing did for her; it brought Naomi to another realm where the outside world didn't matter and all she needed to do was feel the music as it thrummed in her veins. Jack could have very well been watching and she wouldn't have given one single fuck. She laughed when they came to the patty cake section of the dance, the sound bubbling from her mouth uncontained and carefree, before falling back into the routine with a pop, grinning at the sight of interested freshmen who were getting in the groove. Ending on a slight pose, Naomi quirked an eyebrow at Amelia's words, not knowing where she was going but obviously trusting her.

When the song changed and Amelia began fooling around, Naomi clutched her belly, her laugh loud and thoroughly amused before she too got involved. It didn't matter if there was a routine to this; it was just to have fun and be free. She pointed over to where Miles and Sam were, beckoning them and even pointed to Bennett to see if he would come over. She pulled in a few freshmen who, at first, were wary on joining, but Naomi wasn't taking no for an answer and yanked them on over anyway. They danced and grooved beneath the Florida sun. Naomi slowly winded her body and even twerked on a few fellow Zetas. All too soon, the music stopped and the crowd that gathered applaued, and someone had wrapped their arms around her waist from behind, causing a surprised squeak to blurt past her lips before Naomi recognized them. Grinning, the crowd dispersed, with a good number of the girls coming over to talk to the Zetas and Naomi more than willing to talk them, swiping at the sweat that had gathered on her brow. As she came back to their side of the booth, she swiped a Jell-O-shot and downed it, only to be surprised by the bite of alcohol. She immediately glanced at Zoey. "Why am I not surprised!" She exclaimed, not really mad but with a playful and chastising tone.

."Well looks who's big man on campus. Lead the way. "
He smirked, generally amused at being called a big man on campus. In a sense, he was, given his status at the Sigma house along with all the parties they threw. Growing up he was never one to be very popular, but college had changed that a bit. He had always liked parties and having fun in the most exciting forms he could imagine, but college gave him a place to find people to do it with him, and he found that important. Being at the Sigma house built a family for him that he knows he didn't have before. Even after graduating, some of the brothers he'd probably keep in touch with for as long as he was able.

Karma nudged him, "You could have warned me that your whole frat house are sports illustrated fans. I've never seen guys get that excited about a girl they've already seen half naked. " he laughed, figuring it was a joke because probably every boy on campus had seen half naked at least once. On the contrary, he hadn't even recognised her until she brought it up. Then it clicked of course. She laughed at that, possibly a little too hard, but it was cute and he couldn't help but chuckle as well. In general so far he found her to be quite charming in an adorable way. She was girlish in the way she walked and stood beside him. Innocent in some way, maybe childish but she was obviously mature. Playful would be the right word maybe. Or just flirty. Even when she asked him curiously about all the girls he was probably fucking he smiled.

"From what I can tell you can have any girl here and if I had to guess I'd say you've had your fair share so why are you parading a freshman, though a super hot freshman if I do say so myself, around? " He raised an eyebrow at her, amused. "Sorry if that's a bit blunt. " She bit her lip. See, adorable, he thought.

"Well," he began, "if you must know, It is true, you are super hot," he quoted, "and yeah maybe that's why I noticed you jogging by, but I don't know. You seem fun. In a person way. Someone who's up for an adventure. You're easy to talk to, from what I've experienced, and it seems like people are generally drawn to you. I see that as a good sign." He smiled, being sincere with his words. He did believe all the things he said, but considered he could be completely wrong. He hardly knew her. "Does that sound accurate?"

He slipped his hand onto her back again, directing her towards the fair while she looked down at her phone. Her blond hair brushed his fingers lightly, and he couldn't help but watch her as she texted her friends and put her phone away again. She was quite beautiful, no one could deny that. Even now as they stood on the outside of the event he could feel people glancing over and giving their stares for a moment.

She smiled turning to him, "I have to find Elysia's booth. I don't know if you know her? She's the president of the Alpha's? I've known her since we were three so she's like the big sister I always wanted. I have to see Naomi's too. I met her during orientation and she's kinda trying to get me to be a Zeta."

He raised his eyebrow, "A Zeta?" he nodded, "I think you'd fit in pretty well.. Alpha? You're too nice to be an Alpha. But I can show you both of the booths. If you don't mind I'll be taking you to the only actually important booth first." He laughed. "Which I probably should've been at already, but I couldn't pass up getting to show you around. Wasn't sure if I'd ever get the opportunity again."

He lead her to the Sigma's booth, pacing himself a bit faster than average. "Nice of you to join us, pal." Miles sarcastically spit towards Kyle as he approached the table. "I’m going to go ahead and take it that you didn’t put any of this together? Looks fine but we could’ve done better, don’t you think?"

"What?" he exclaimed, "Miles it looks great. If it were done any better then I couldn't take credit for any of it." He joked, slapping Miles on his back in a friendly manor. He knew Miles was probably annoyed at him, but Kyle had planned out a good part of it and organized the Sophomores to set it up. The booth was fine and no one would remember what it looked like tomorrow anyway. He followed Miles' gaze to Emerson, who was currently making her appearance into the fair. It was kind of like watching a movie, slow motion, her short hair being tossed over her shoulder. All the Alphas kind of seemed to walk in slow motion. At least Kyle imagined it that way for his own amusement. He knew Miles still had some baggage from he and Em's relationship, but in Kyle's opinion it was maybe for the best. Lucky, Sam came to divert the attention.

Along with a bottle of alcohol and Zoey, Sam approached the two.
"I don't think we did too bad, The douches will gravitate to Jack, the geeks to Emery, and we'll be left with the good ones.
Kyle smiled in agreement.
"I will say, though, that those burgers the Betas are cooking smell pretty good. You wanna grab some for me and Zoe?" Sam asked Miles.

Kyle cut in then,"By the way," he said, "I want you all to meet my lovely new friend, Karma." He took her hand and pulled her closer to the two of them since she'd been standing a bit away. He smiled his classic smirky grin. He leaned closer to Miles, speaking a little quieter, "and if you don't mind she'll be the reason I'm not managing the booth.." He knew he was pulling some strings, but it's not like it was hard to manage and he figured as punishment Miles would put him in charge of cleaning things up. Which, in turn, he would actually do.

He hadn't really looked at Zoey yet since she'd arrived, but he took a moment to look at her now. Her caught her eyes, only for a moment, but maybe held them too long. He smiled slowly at her, then widely as he looked back to Miles and Sam. Whatever happened between Zoey and him was the past, and he was happy to see Sam and her together. Besides, Karma could be promising, he thought as he gave her hand a small squeeze.

Karma was pleased with Kyle's response. "Spot on gorgeous. ". It was pretty damn accurate if she was honest with herself. She usually liked having a little mystery. She didn't do it to be coy or anything like that. More like she always felt that you should leave them wanting more. Especially guys like Kyle. Even though she didn't have much practice with guys, she leaned from some of the hottest women in the world how to intrigue a man without tricking him. However for some strange reason she felt no need to be wary of him.

She bit her lip when he mentioned he didn't want to risk missing an opportunity to show her around. " You wouldn't have. I go for runs every morning at six am and at eight pm. Your house is on my route too so I'd estimate that if your a early riser you'd see me twice a day if not you'd see me once and it you hadn't made a move I would have sweetheart. " She said with a cheeky grin.

She laughed lightly at his assessment that she would fit in with the Zetas better. " Oh please you have to say that, they're your sister house." She grinned up at him and winked. As soon as they arrived at his booth, Miles, who she had already met was on him. She couldn't help the little shot of pleasure she got when Kyle took her hand. When Kyle introduced her to Miles she sent Miles a wink, " We've actually already met" She said lightly kissing miles on his cheek European style, "Freshman orientation. Tiny dress, big blonde curls. " she added helpfully. She loved that dress, it was a baby doll dress that rested way high up on her thigh. She paired it with over the knee socks, a pair of light blue doc martens and a tiny backpack. Super adorable, it made her feel like a baby doll. She nodded at Sam and sent him a small smile before smiling at Zoey.

When she felt Kyle squeeze her hand she gently squeezed his back and snuggled deeper into his side. She didn't miss Kyle saying that he was going to miss managing the booth to stay with her. Lightly, she bit her lip to hold back a grin. She turned to look for Naomi or Elysia and spotted a familiar pair of hooded sharp green eyes. Bennett, one of the freshmen said his name was Bennett. When his eyes met hers and she realized she had gotten caught looking she simply smiled widely and grinned. She spotted Jack too and smiled. She met Jack when he and Elysia had gone to school together but she doubted he remembered her much.

Finally she found Naomi and grinned when she saw them dancing. " Well want to brave the Alpha's or risk getting dragged into dancing?" She said quirking an eyebrow.

Zoey was full of giggles at the sight of Amy and Naomi up there dancing but not because they were making fools out of themselves. The pair were talented enough that they didn't look as silly as some of the others that came up to dance with them, but it was still an entertaining sight. She was still laughing when Amelia pointed towards her and directed her to come dance with them. Although Zoey was usually the first person dancing at parties, her one Jello shot had done virtually nothing to get her intoxicated. She wasn't self-conscious to the point where she would care if people saw her dancing, but she was still more ready to crawl into bed than to let loose.

Her attention shifted from the scene in front of her back towards the Sigma booth. As she had left Sam minutes before, she passed Kyle and a freshman that Zoey had met briefly a few days earlier. The way that she was clinging to the Sigma hadn't sat well with her, for no good reason at all, and Zoey knew that. She had hooked up with Kyle years ago and once she started dating Sam, they left any sexual feelings they had for each other in the past. Kyle had probably hooked up with numerous girls since then and it had never bothered her, so why was it now? She forced the thoughts out of her mind and tried to justify them as a result of just being annoyed with Sam this morning.

As she focused on the Zetas who were now finishing up, her smile returned. Amelia dramatically collapsed under a nearby tree, probably appreciating the bit of heat relief that the shade offered and Naomi went straight from the Jello shots. She happened to choose one that Zoey had splashed with vodka and quickly noticed. "I have no idea what you're talking about!" she replied, although her grin spoke otherwise. "Did you see Emery while you were out earlier? I need to ask him about our work schedule this week," she asked, mostly out of boredom. She tilted her head back as Amelia jumped up and headed towards the Theta booth, before returning her head back towards Naomi. It's so hot today. I say we squeeze 'hour at the beach' onto our list of Zeta duties for today," she suggested with a smile. Naomi was President, which meant that a lot of the responsibility for Zeta events fell on her shoulders, but as her best friend and a senior Zeta, Zoey knew she had to be involved as much as needed too. Being a Zeta meant that fun and sorority responsibilities almost always overlapped though, which was definitely helpful in that.

Naomi grinned back at Zoey, shaking her head with amusement. While anyone else would have been upset since the Jell-O-shots were supposed to be minor-friendly for the sake of the school, leave it to Zoey to just say, "fuck it." And Naomi, despite how moral or how much of a good girl she could be, just loved being bad and could only be grateful. "Have I told you much I love you lately?" She exclaimed, waving to a few freshmen from orientation week. Her eyes fell on Karma and Kyle, who weren't that far away and Naomi quirked an eyebrow. She glanced from Karma to Kyle, and then back to Karma again with a questioning smirk. She even almost missed Zoey's questions with her curiosity, but glanced back to her best friend once it clicked in her head.

"Actually, that sounds like a great idea. We have an hour before the jamboree and no one's doing anything. I'll put it in a mass text," she said and pulled out her phone before considering. As much as she knew that some of her friends hung out with people she didn't really talk to, why not invite everyone she liked? Everyone could chill out and if they didn't like each other, they could always just not show up. It wasn't going to kill her. Besides, it was hot and she wanted the col water of the ocean on her skin. Not to mention to wear the new bikini she had bought with her mother's new boytoy's money. "Emery? Hmm...I think he was at the Alpha table, not really sure." The placement this year definitely put certain houses by people they normally wouldn't be associated with. Maybe it was the school's new way of creating relationships, she surmised while typing out her message, hoping she didn't forget anyone.

To: Bennett, Sam, Miles, Sierra, Amy, Poppy, Giselle, Daniel, Emery
Idk what y'all plan 2 do, but Zetas r hittin up da beach b4 da jamboree. Any1's invited.

Biting her lower lip softly, Naomi glanced over at the Beta table before shaking her head. She really needed to stop doing this. She was making herself obvious the more she looked in his direction. However, she also couldn't help it and decided to interact with people as a distraction, but not before sending one more text.

To: Jack
Didn't think I'd invite ur guys 2 da beach w/out u. Didn't want u 2 be lonely, Reynolds. Don't ever say I didn't do anything 4 u

Her first target was Karma, who hadn't drifted off yet and who Naomi was more than happy to greet. Side-stepping a few people who were in line for either Beta or Zeta foods, Naomi made her way to the blonde, smiling widely. "Hey, gorgeous. You look great!" She exclaimed and nodded to Kyle with the smile still present. "Hey, Kyle." Naomi turned back to Karma then. "See any booths you liked yet? Ooh, and what are you both doing after this? The Zetas and a few other people are hitting up the beach before the jamboree." She stated, including Kyle in the end. After all, who the hell didn't like the beach?

Grace felt like rolling her eyes at how Delilah switched the subject so obviously, trying to mask whatever fear she had of Elysia with how great the cake pops were. She didn't, only because she appreciated the girl's efforts to act like things were okay, even when Grace knew otherwise. Although Delilah could be detrimentally naive about most things, her positive attitude was also a breath of fresh air, and Grace knew that was especially true when compared to her own. Maybe it was why they had clicked so well last year when Delilah was rushing. "They do look good..." she said, examining the desert table for herself before quickly switching positions on the matter. "But bikini season never ends in Miami, and I'm not going to let these deserts ruin my look this year." She glanced around idly before running her fingers through her hair and mentally praising herself for doing so well with her appearance in such little time.

Her good mood was quickly disappeared when Elysia spoke up and put her and Natalie in charge of the refreshments table. Luckily, she hadn't heard Antonio state that Jack had requested her for the Beta table because she certainly would have responded differently. Now, inside she was scowling, but outside, her face remained emotionless and eventually brightened with a fake smile. She didn't respond to Elysia, partly because it didn't seem necessary, and partly because she was sure that whatever she said would be passive aggressive enough to get her into more trouble. She did manage to offer Delilah a 'kill me now' expression, but changed it back into a smile as soon as she turned to face the rest of the girls. Once she reached the refreshment table, she glanced over at Natalie who seemed to be equally displeased with their situation but was less careful about showing it than Grace was. She had rushed with the blonde, making them both juniors, and although Natalie wasn't a favorite in the house, Grace didn't hate her. In fact, she was one of the best people to gossip with, and like her, she was good at changing faces when it came to being respectful to Elysia's face and less-than-so behind her back.

"Can you believe her? Sending us over here like we're sophomores!" Natalie ranted, but luckily, in a hushed tone. Like a good Alpha, she managed to do it with a smile on her face as they handed lemonade to passing freshman.

As soon as they got a moment alone, Grace nodded. "She's obviously mad at me for showing up late. What did you do?" She was sure it had to do with Natalie's habitual acts of theft in the house but waited for the girl's explanation.

"Literally nothing! I've been doing everything she asks me to do all week and I get stuck here?" She paused mid rant to hand a glass of sweet tea to a boy who had stopped in front of them. As soon as he was gone, she resumed. "And told not to answer any questions about the house? Tell me that wasn't so bitchy when she basically said that Delilah was more fit to answer questions than us." Although she thoroughly doubted Natalie's claim that she was sent to the table for no reason at all, the girl made a good point. Did being late and having sticky fingers suddenly make them less fit as Alphas than Delilah, who had been a member for less than a year. Possibly, but Grace wasn't going to accept that. "And, you know, if anyone deserves to be over here, it's Emerson. She only showed up like five minutes before you anyway."

The last part of her rambling caused Grace to raise an eyebrow. Emerson's reason for being late was much more understandable than Grace's, but she didn't know that, or care to know. In her mind, it just made sense that Elysia would obviously give special treatment to her girlfriend and although Grace seemed to clash less with Emerson than she did with Elysia, she felt like she should have expected this. "So typical," Grace muttered under her breath. Although Natalie was shameless with her gossiping, Grace was more careful. Even though they were speaking in near whispers and none of the other girls would be able to hear, she didn't trust Natalie any more with her dirty gossip than she would with her wallet.

Her freshman year was off to a shaky start. Dori was scheduled to move in with the rest of the freshman yesterday, but she didn't make it to the school until the early hours of this morning. The first hitch was expected: her foster parents couldn't afford (or didn't want to front the cash, as Dori would say) to have her fly straight from Kansas City to Miami, so she was put on a multi-stop flight that was supposed to land in Fort Lauderdale around three in the afternoon on Monday. She would then have to take an hour long bus ride to Fulton. It was an inconvenience compared to how simple things could have been if she had just flown into Miami or had parents who would drive her and her luggage down, but had things gone as planned, she would have been fine with it. In a perfectly "just my luck" fashion, however, things didn't. Her flight left Kansas an hour late due to storms, and was delayed once again for two additional hours during her layover in Detroit. When she finally landed in Florida, it was nearly seven o'clock and to make matters worse, two of the three bags of luggage she had brought were missing. After three hours of dealing with customer service and hitting dead end after dead end, the bags were discovered in a different terminal. By now, no buses were running the long route to Miami and Dori was forced to spend the night in the airport hotel, which luckily, was complimentary as an apology for the luggage mishap.

This morning, she took the first bus to Miami and after a bit of rush hour traffic, arrived at the university at around eight-thirty in the morning. She was flustered from the previous day's chaos but consistently reminded herself that she needed to remain positive. She was finally doing something with her life and if she started on a bad note, there was no way that she was going to excel here. If nothing else, at least the weather in Miami was delightful, she considered. After hauling her luggage to the wrong dormitory and then finally to the correct one, she managed to check-in and get all of her paperwork sorted out before finally arriving in her room for the year. She had been lucky enough to be placed in one of the newer dormitories so while she shared a common room and bathroom with two other girls, they each had small, but separate bedrooms. The girls' names were listed as Jessica and Karma, but when Dori got to the dorm room, neither girl were there. She helped herself to the only unclaimed bedroom and although it was certainly a step up from some of the dorms she had toured last year, it was still your typical barren dormitory. Her first step of the day was making her bed, which consisted of putting on a simple set of white sheets and a purple comforter that brought a pop of color to the room. She hadn't brought any posters or photos to hang on the wall, so besides setting up some of her school supplies on her desk and plugging her phone in to charge, there wasn't much left to do. She wasn't satisfied with the room's look, but she didn't have much time to fret over it anyway. She realized how hungry she actually was and after fingering through the folder filled with papers that the dorm adviser had given her, she saw that there was an activities fair scheduled to start within the next few hours.

After changing out of the casual tank top and gym shorts that she had arrived in and into a more presentable outfit, she left the dormitory and navigated her way across campus to one of the dining halls. She was on a limited meal plan but after such a painful commute, she wasn't about to skimp on some comfort food. A bagel, blueberry muffin and cup of yogurt later, and she was finally on her way to the Activity Fair. For once, this destination wasn't hard to find. The entire grassy air of the courtyard was filled with different stations representing different organizations. Dori was definitely interested in getting involved with clubs on campus so she took her time as she moved from booth to booth. She put her name and email address own for a fair amount of clubs: the Spanish club, study-abroad program, fashion club, African heritage club, community service leaders, and intramural basketball to name a few. Although she didn't plan on actually dedicating herself to every one of them, she was interested in at least going to the first meeting for each of them and figuring out if she wanted to be involved after giving it a shot. Plus, nearly everyone she spoke to at the booths seemed outgoing and kind. Even if she didn't plan on joining every club, at least she was making friendly acquaintances along the way.

As she approached the end of the courtyard, she found the most amount of people and as she got closer, she realized that it was because this was the Greek life area. There were six booths representing the three fraternities and three sororities and although passing the fraternity booths was easy, she wasn't sure where to start with the sororities. Hell, she wasn't even sure if she wanted to join a sorority! Each of them had their own unique look but they all shared the appearance of being well put together, especially compared to some of the club booths she had passed earlier. Between the apparent dress code among the girls and the elegant display of foods, the Alpha Theta Pi booth struck her as being the "royalty" sorority. The girls all looked very prim and proper - the type who Dori imagined would attend débutante balls and take etiquette lessons on their days off. It was probably far from true, but their coordinated outfits and over-the-top food tables gave her the impression that they topped the school's social hierarchy. When she stopped to get a glass of lemonade from the table, the two girls working the refreshment table seemed to solidify that image for her. The blonde and brunette were both gorgeous, as was the boy conversing with them, but their smiles and attitudes seemed superficial. Although Dori didn't engage in conversation with either and continued on her way after grabbing the drink, she got the sense that they weren't in great moods. She wasn't aware of the reasons behind it, but it didn't give her the best vibes. As she continued though, she caught the eye of another Alpha, who was probably of Asian-decent and appeared to be closer in age with her. This girl seemed to be much more pleasant, but still thinking the house probably wasn't for her, she just took one of the pamphlets that the girl was distributing and offered a cheerful, "thanks!" before walking to the next booth.

Despite having a big breakfast, Dori couldn't resist plating a loaded baked potato and slider when she reached the Zeta table. Maybe the smell of the Betas barbecuing had something to do with it, but suddenly, she was ready for lunch. "This is amazing," she gushed to the brunette manning the table, after almost finishing the baked potato in a few bites. In an effort to make it clear that she wasn't just there to mooch off of the free food, she took one of the Zeta fliers off of the table and gave it a quick scan. "So, do I have it right that you guys are like, the party sorority?" she grinned, then eyeing the Jell-O shots on the other side of the table.

Sam wasn't surprised when Kyle waltzed over with a stunning freshman glued to his side. He introduced her as a friend but Sam was sure that if there weren't already some "benefits" in that friendship, there would be by the end of the week. He assumed that there was already more going on between the pair though. She was only a freshman, so they must have met recently, but living in the room next to Kyle meant that Sam often heard more than he wanted to from Kyle's room. Luckily, the Sigma walls were pretty thick, but he could have sworn that he'd heard a higher pitched, muffled voice on the other side of the wall last night. He gave her a quick up and down look, trying to figure out where he recognized her from more than actually checking her out, before giving up and settling with a polite smile. "Nice to meet you, I'm Sam," he offered before Miles gave her a fair warning on Kyle. As Miles left to get food, Sam lagged behind a bit, only to offer Kyle a quick smirk and thumbs up as he nodded his head towards the young blonde. Miles had good reason to tell Karma to be careful with Kyle but simply judging by the girl's beauty and demeanor, he probably needed to watch his back too.

Sam thanked Miles for the burgers he returned with, but didn't have time to say much more to him, as the Sigma president reluctantly made his way to the Zeta booth. Music had started playing and as he glanced in that direction, he spotted a crowd forming around a few people dancing. He didn't see Zoey in the mix but wasn't going to interrupt the show, so before returning to his girlfriend, he made a pit stop at the Kappa booth. "Is Andy around?" he asked one of the sophomores who stood at the edge of their booth.

"He's at the Theta table with Poppy, I think," the guy responded simply.

Sam nodded but as he turned away, couldn't stop himself from smiling slightly. He should have known. Andrew was his closest friend in the Kappa house and one of the smartest guys he knew at Fulton. It shocked him how someone so intelligent, kind and insightful hadn't realized yet that Poppy wasn't the perfect girl for him yet. The two seemed to click just as well as he and Zoey, and maybe even better since both of them seemed too sweet for the the constant bickering he and Zoey engaged in.

When he returned to the Zeta table, he found the music lowered, Naomi and Amelia gone, and Zoey chatting with a freshman. "A burger for my lady," he said playfully as he slid the plate in front of her and took a seat on the empty chair next to her. He'd probably have to get up when Naomi or another real Sigma representative showed up, but everyone seemed preoccupied with other things at the moment. He had gotten to the booth after Dorothy had finished speaking, and with a hot burger in front of him, he wasn't paying attention enough to the girls' conversation enough to offer more than a friendly smile to her.

To: Naomi
I'm in

He responded to Naomi's text quickly, knowing that if she was going, Zoey most likely was as well. He spent the past summer and many before as a lifeguard for the Disney World water parks and resorts, but even after a grueling routine, he could never get enough of the water.

"Of course it's a great idea, I came up with it," Zoey responded with a smile as she watched Naomi tap away at her phone screen as she invited the others. She pulled her phone out to do the same thing, but since she shared a majority of her friends with Naomi, there was only one friend who she could think of who the invite probably hadn't been extended to. Grace. Just as she began to text her, she received a text from the Alpha reading, "Elysia hates me. Come say hi to me <3". "Speaking of the devil..." she muttered, barely noticing as Naomi disappeared again from the booth. Grace's text wasn't really surprising, especially since Zoey had suspected something was up when she didn't spot her at the Alpha table earlier. However, she didn't exactly have a whole lot of sympathy for Grace in this instance either. From what Zoey knew of her, Elysia could be a complete bitch, but Grace was no sheep either. Besides, she had chosen the Alpha house for a reason and had probably dealt with girls far worse than Elysia when she was rushing.

To: Grace
I'm too tired to get up :P. Come to the beach before the jamboree? Jack's gonna be there ;D

She may not have commented on it, but Zoey had definitely caught Naomi's eyes lingering on Jack moments before. Naomi didn't have to hide it from her though, since Zoey was well aware of whatever it was she had with the Beta President. The mere fact that both of them hid their relationship from the rest of the world was enough of an indication to Zoey that they shouldn't be involved with each other though. Even though Zoey thought that Jack would be lucky to get a girl like Naomi, she was going to do everything in her power to prevent Naomi from stooping to that level. She had no need to doing anything outside of the bedroom with an ass like Jack Reynolds. Maybe that was why she didn't mind playing along with Grace's crush on Jack, and at times like now, even encouraging it. When she saw Naomi giving him looks like that, she feared that her best friend really was falling for him and if she had to toss someone just as selfish onto him to prevent that, she would.

The traffic around their booth had slowed momentarily, but just as she was about to text Sam and demand he hurry up with their food, a girl who had been hovering over the food table spoke up. Zoey glanced up, slightly surprised to see someone show up alone, as most of the freshman tended to travel in packs during the first few weeks on campus. Everyone was trying to find their niche and making friends was an essential part of having a fun freshman year. This girl didn't appear to be bothered by traveling solo and was actually quite friendly.

"Our President, Naomi, made them so I'm not surprised," Zoey smiled, tempted to take one for herself since Sam had apparently fallen off of the face of the earth with her food. "I don't know if anything here can compare to the nachos she makes when we're wasted though," she added, more to herself than to the freshman. Anything seemed to taste good to Zoey after shotgunning a few beers, though.

The girl had definitely heard the remark though, because her next comment was, "So, do I have it right that you guys are like, the party sorority?"

"I mean, we definitely know how to have a good time," she responded, trying to be careful with her words. Maybe she was just in one of her maternal moods, but she felt like the freshman in front of her was still young. At her age, Zoey probably already had the tolerance level of a 30-year-old man, but she wasn't going to corrupt anyone. Not until they officially pledged Zeta, anyway. She leaned closer, "Unless you want to spend the next four years in a stuffy blazer or sitting alone in the library, Zetas your best bet, though." Okay, maybe she was biased, but she wasn't in the mood to recite the list of charity events they volunteered at last year and how being a Zeta would help her professionally down the line. Besides, Zoey was sure that at least the Alphas were going to be ruthless in their attempt to get every decent-looking girl to rush Alpha. Not because they planned on allowing them all to join, but just to be able to say that they rejected an insane number of them to make themselves look more exclusive.

This girl seemed like Zeta material, anyway. Realizing that she hadn't even caught the girl's name yet, she decided to introduce herself. "I'm Zoey, by the way. A senior Zeta," she reached out a hand to Dori. "Let me know if you have any questions, and the other Zetas are floating around too if you want to talk to them. Amy's a sophomore, super nice... she was dancing over here earlier but I don't know where she ran off to. She's a good one to talk to though, so if you see her, feel free to ask her anything. She just rushed last year so she'll tell you that we aren't too mean," she winked. "And obviously Naomi's good to talk to too. She just ran off somewhere but if you have any major questions, stick around for a few and she'll be back."

She had ignored Sam's interruption minutes before but once she finished her semi-helpful response to Dori, she acknowledged him. "Took you long enough," she said, wanting to sound angry but not being able to sound more than slightly annoyed as she made eye contact with him.
