Nalia Silverhelm's Story

Nalia was in the library. She was sitting in one of the large window seats reading a book. She sighed as she looked out the window and saw yet another carriage appear carrying yet another suitor. If only she could tell her father how she felt. But then Fox would be put to death and she couldn't let than happen.

She closed the book and stood up, brushing off her light blue dress as she did. She handed the book to a nearby servant, giving them a nod of thanks as they went to put it away. Then she wandered off to find her lover.

Nalia was stopped as she walked through the castle's halls. It was one of her father's personal knights. "Milady you are needed in the entryway. Another suitor has arrived."

Nalia smiled, "Thank you Sir Baine. I will go as soon as I find Fox. It would be improper of me to be without him in front of guests."

The knight gave a nod and went to tell the king. Nalia made her way to Fox's room and knocked on the door. It wasn't just any knock though, it was their secret knock, letting the other know that it was them and that they were alone.

Nalia opened the door, walked inside, and closed the door behind her. "There's another suitor downstairs. Let's go get this over with." Nalia reached into her dress' pocket and took out a ribbon. She tied her black hair back with it, like she always did when meeting with suitors. Or to keep it out of the way when her a Fox were.... Busy.

Nalia snickered quietly at Fox's statement, hoping her father didn't hear. Judging by the cough, he did. She turned to him. "Father he's a horrible snooty jerk. He only wants me because I'm a Princess."

The king put a hand on Nalia's shoulder. "Darling you don't know that. Give him a chance."

Nalia grumbled something and walked away. She went back to Fox's room, not wanting to go back to her own. Her suitors knew where it was, they knew where to find her. So she used his room to hide sometimes.
