Introduction
It is an unknown time in the future where advanced cybernetics allows people to take on different personas. But the cost is high as becoming a cyborg is a irreversable procedure. Because of this only the fewest take up on the offer to be changed. Others only choose partial cybernetization. But due to mixed feelings among society, the cyborgs often seek one another and often form communities with richer cyborgs often offering other cyborgs to live in a shared apartment complex.
Just recently founded, Furco offers the transformation into a furry cyborg with the slogan "its cheaper and safer than splicing" with a full program such as links to a furry community, community apartments, a catalogue full of upgrades, full time service and much more. They also stay within the legal area such as giving everyone an electronic ID and not allowing more than 65% of the brain to be modified. Though everyone who is interested is first taken to a presentation that explains what will be done with them and how the cybernetic bodies could look like.
The bodies are mainly a mechanical cybernetic body with a metal brain encasing. A fur skin is pulled over the metallic body to hide the metal appearance of the furry body. Though the furry appearance already is there in metallic form. So only the skin makes it seem non-mechanical. The bodies need to be charged at least one hour a day. A full charge or an eight hour sleeping period is enough energy for five days. Critical errors will be noticed by the maintenant team to which a service member will prompty repair. The body is also extensively upgradeable for money of course.
Programs and upgrade possibilities will be posted in a separate place in the roleplay tab.
Kakamoura city: A large city of 1.8 million. It is a friendly place with a low crime rate. It is a place where people can live out their lives with little or no restriction.
Community pinboard: The community pinboard is a board for anyone to put up flyers for a club, interest circle, outing or any other event within the community.

At 7 am, the lights in the room went on. On a bed there was a female furry with light blue hair and blue and white fur. "Dream phase end." A female voice said. The voice sounded digital but it seemed to come from the furry even though she didn't open her mouth. A cable ran from her head into the wall. The furry opened her eyes and detached the cable from her head. "Good morning Imatis." Another voice said.
Imatis got cleaned up and put on a white dress shirt, a short dark blue skirt and a dark blue suit jacket as well as a blue high fitting collar. She then headed out of her apartment.

Leaving Building One:
Imatis headed out of apartment building one into the Furco Apartment Complex courtyard. It was large and had greenery. Not very many people were up at the time. Imatis headed over to a cafe where one of the early bird cyborgs worked. The furry cyborg at the cafe had rather orange fur, was female and resembled a fox. "A mocha latte please." Imatis said. The attendee nodded and immediately made what Imatis had ordered. Within a minute it was done. Imatis swiped her hand over the counter and the payment was already made. Just going over the counter with a hand wont do anything. The cyborg acknowledges the payment while doing so allowing the payment to be made.
Imatis then sat down and drank her coffee. Thanks to artificial tasting sensory and an artificial intestine, Imatis was able to enjoy it.

Only a reality to wake up too. linking silently the panda furry sat up and removed a cord from the base of her neck. Sitting up and giving a stretch before dressing in relaxing Japanese styled clothes and heading out into the world.

Yue walked out of the apartment building where she made her home and passed by the courtyard her favorite place and into the city. Things were not quite busy here but had a little more life as people, very few mind you, began to awake. Yue walked into a small cafe where few people sat around among them a rather shocking and well upgraded female furry that grabbed at Yue's attention. Smiling softly she walked over to the counter. "A hot chocolate please." The female behind the counter raised an eyebrow before quickly and quietly making Yue her hot chocolate. Yue smiled and took the warm beverage and passed her hand over the counter. When everything was confirmed the panda furry cyborg took a seat with a good view of the strange and very much upgraded furry.
Taking a sip of her drink she smiled in appreciation...

Imatis saw the panda furry and smiled. "Good morning." She said with her smile. Both of them seemed to be early birds since only few were wandering around the apartment complex at the moment. Imatis still had some time until she needed to be in her office to upload the news to the electronic pinboard and continue on her research to better the bodies of the residents. Only half her customers lived at the complex, but those who live at the complex got a discount on Furco items and enjoyed a couple other advantages. Hopefully there wouldn't be protesters in front of the company building again. The protesters claimed that it was immoral to trade in a working organic body for a mostly mechanical one and that the furries weren't human anymore. But many people here didn't want to be human but be furries as it was their choice and no one should interfere with the rights of others.

Yue smiled back and waved. "Hello~" She sipped her hot chocolate and hummed to herself. She looked around noticing a lack of people. "Things are really quiet today... I hope it's not because of all the protests..." She frowned sadly and sighed lifting her cup to take a relaxing drink of warm hot chocolate. She lowered the drink and swallowed taking a breath. Before opening her eyes again her gaze once again landing on the furry across from her.

If you have any complaints, I can make adjustments accordingly. You have a flower shop right?" Imatis said to Yue. Imatis was often more interested in how comfortable people at the complex felt because client satisfaction was the top priority.
"You may know who I am since I run the company that made all this possible. She blinked thinking about getting a pet and what that would require from her. Blinking back Yue looked at her. "So you know my name somehow... Whats yours?" Yue smiled brightly.

"Well I am Imatis. And yes we allow up to two pets here. If you want a mechanical pet, we offer those at a fair price. Compared to organic pets, the mechanical pets only need electricity and love. With love, I mean they will shut off if neglected." Imatis explained. "Anyways, give me a minute. I need to upload the new upgrade offers to the pinboard. Some of the people here like to keep themselves up to date." Imatis then took out a small device and pulled out a cable from it. She then inserted the cable into her ear and her eyes lit up. After a few seconds she was done and then disconnected the cable again.

Yue smiled. A mechanical pet sounded nice but... Not quite as nice as a real one perhaps she would get one... Maybe. Being brought back from her thoughts she blinked at Imatis as she was called who was talking about a pin board. She watched amazed as the robotic furry plugged in a cable did something easily and then unplugged it. "That was amazing!" Yue lept out of her seat. "Your amazing Madam Imatis~ First you tell me you did all this and now you well... Just wow." Yue bubbled with happy feeling of excitement.

Imatis needed to find better materials and take a deoxidization bath. Rusting would be bad for her body below the skin. "Now lets go shall we, nene?" Imatis said then having her hand at a position like a paw and her ears perked up. It somehow seemed cute and it was definitely Imatis intention to be so. She saw it necessary to be as fun as she was serious. It was a balance.

Yue smiled. "Sure... It's my day off anyway." Yue stood and smiled. Imatis was pretty cute for the big boss of all this. And she was also very kind. Maybe... Maybe this would be a friend for Yue to keep. Ever sense shed arrived things seemed very lonely. Probably because most people here had something to hide or were already with a crowd of richer furrys like themselves. Yue wasn't really rich anymore so she was not part of that crowd. "Sooo where's your lab anyway Imatis?" Yue asked blinking her large eyes curiously at the girl.

"Well then follow me." imatis said and led the way. The way went across the complex' park and through a passage way. After a couple minutes of walking, they got to the Furco companys building. It was large and looked modern. Both humans and furries were hanging out in front of the building. With the appearance of Imatis everyone stood up and bowed in respect for Imatis. They then entered the building where the labs were.

Once in the Furco Lab building Imatis said: "Well here we are. Over 50 people work here working on the companys famed innovation. People working here are granted breaks so that stress doesnt get the better of them and they arent allowed to work more than an hour overtime. I dont want anyone to be too tired to work. This building has a cafe, a large lunchroom, bathrooms of course, a central courtyard, a medical room and an experimental surgery room as well as the usual surgery room for overhauls, modifications and transformations. We are currently working on kits to make your own child for those who cannot reproduce due to extensive modification. Of course some have kept reproductive organs. Two subjects have artificial reproductive organs that work semi-well at the organ. We are shortly before a breakthrough to make organic or semi-organic furry babies."

She followed Imatis and listened. "It's so... Big." She marveled at the size of the labs. She looked over and around barely catching everything Imatis said until her ears pricked up at Imatis words. "Reproductive organs? Wow the future really is now is that's possible!" She frowned. "But you guys are going to get allot of controversy on the subject... Best tread lightly.

They would prefer splicing over what Furco stands for, but in the past two years we have seen what bad result splicing can have, such as dozens of deaths and patients gone crazy." Imatis said.
Outside a protest was forming again. "Maybe I should call the police. They are on our property this time." Imatis said. She opened a window and called out: "Can you please get off my companys property, otherwise I will be forced to call the local law enforcement." "There is that CEO that turns people in such abominations!" One protester yelled. The protesters started throwing stone that didn't affect Imatis. "I warned them." One of Imatis ears popped out mechanically. "Yes, police. I have an angry mob on the Furco premises. Even when calmly and friendly asking them to step off the premises, they started to throw stones and other hard objects at me. Thank you." Imatis said, then her ear popped back in. Within minutes, the police had arrived. But since they didn't even listen to the police, the police shot with watercannons at them.
"It is sad that we have such close-minded people here." Imatis said with her ears drooping slightly.

Opening the window Yue yelled out loud enough for everyone to hear. "Would you want us to judge you!" The crowd stopped and looked up at her. "You complain when people judge you... your body, your opinions, you... What gives you the right to judge others? Nothing!" The crowd looked down obviously ashamed. "Your allowed your opinion on Imatis yes... But are you allowed to persecute her for her opinions and those of her supporters... No... So put down the rocks and step away...Please." She smiled. "I wish you all a great day~" Pulling back in she closed the window and watched as half the crowd left. Of course the other half were being stubborn and threatened to throw more rocks... Luckily the police was there.
Yue blinked and looked over at Imatis. "Well... At least we know half of them might be little more open minded... Please don't be sad madam Imatis." Yue smiled comfortingly at Imatis and looked back outside.
