Physical Description: In Ninmenjushin form, she looks like a human girl with a fox mask, fox ears, and a fox tail that splits into six at a tip. She has long silver hair (that curves in the back), indigo shorts, and black boots.

In Yin Mode, her mask is black with red markings. Her hair has pink highlighting in the front, her top is black/pink with little coverage over her body, her skirt and robe-like sleeves are black/red, and three of her tail tips are pink.

In Yang Mode, her mask is white with lavender markings. Her hair has cyan highlighting, her top is white/cyan and drapes over most of her torso, her skirt and sleeves are white/lavender, and three of her tail tips are cyan.

Personality: In general, Wakeme is shy and quiet, rarely leaving the house (even when Tamamo suggests to), but she loves her family a lot. Her Yin Mode brings out her daring and aggression, becoming enthralled with battle but letting down her guard. Her Yang Mode brings out her righteousness and diligence, only fighting for what's right but also becoming more timid. Either way, she lives for battle.

History: The only birth-daughter of Tamamo On'you, an aristocrat of the island of Shinzouka, she is also the foster sister of a few orphans. She goes outside of her home a few times, but still not often enough. She prefers to practice swordplay and archery. One day that she left, though, mysterious monsters kidnapped almost all of her family! They came back for her, but triggered something within her, making her body split into two - one dark, one light, and both half-fox! While learning about her lineage, Wakeme's two halves eventually came back together, all while seeking out her kidnapped family members. But could she handle the truth about her mother...?

Equipment: She gains three different channels. The first, Touhen, looks like a plain rod, but projects either a whip (Dark) or a sword blade (Light). Obviously, the whip is good for long-range combat while the sword is best for close-range fighting. The second, a Yukendama, looks like a large hammer, which is emphasized more in Yin Mode. In Yang Mode, it instead projects an orb tethered to the hammer, which becomes a source of concentrated long-range attacks. The third, Sparrow Bow, launches volleys of chi arrows. Yin Mode arrows fly farther, while Yang Mode arrows are bigger and more powerful.

Abilities: As a bizarre Ninmenjushin dubbed a "Splitsune" by her allies, she can switch between her Dark and Light halves, gaining access to many abilities. These modes affect her channels, as well as her chakra. As Dark Wakeme, she can use chakra of the Ice, Force, Shadow, and Fire elements. As Light Wakeme, she uses chakra of the Water, Flower, Light, and Thunder elements. It's tricky, but switching between these two modes at the right times can allow for powerful attack chains.

Other: The two sides are more sensitive to certain elements of chi. Dark Wakeme is more susceptible to Thunder, Water, Wind, Flower, Moon, and Light. Light Wakeme is weaker to Fire, Ice, Earth, Force, Time, and Shadow.
