"Hmmm..." Come to think of it, Red might have seen a sword of a similar material to this shard...likely because its wielder has been long talked about.

Terrus then noticed Duma panting heavily, not used to such prolonged periods of fast movement.

...then she got hit by a tranquilizer dart. "!!!" Before she could even shout out a single sound, Red subdued fast to the anesthetic, falling unconscious.

"Magus subject captured," he whispered into his recording headset. "Returning to base." With that, he fled, the only trace of his presence being the faint, far-apart indentions in the ground from the tip-toes of his boots.

It wasn't long before Red snapped awake. "Gah - !!" It took a moment for her to reclaim her physical orientation as she stood up from the ground. "I don't believe it...How could I let myself be captured by - ?! (!) Wait...they were...They were copying my magic skills!" She felt that this is something Sarina ought to know about, so she headed into the village.
Fleeing into the forest of Nikko Island, Karasz is now all alone. His cynical nature is making him hate towards others who still did not respect him. He'd be better off being alone in the forest all by himself. He will not eat, he will not sleep, he will not socialize with anyone he know.
"Why is she following me? I thought I told her to get lost. I will not help them anymore. I will not help anybody. I will not help society anymore."
He took out his sword and point it at himself. If anyone doesn't appreciate him helping them, then they should appreciate him as a dead man. He'll be much happier in Hellborne.

Suddenly, Red's Fairy Wings (connected) flew into Karasz's sword with a Buer Strike, knocking it away from Karasz. The blades fell to the ground, only to be summoned back to Red, who walked toward Karasz.

"You again... I thought I told you to get lost!!! Why are you still following a failure?! A nobody?! A fucking waste of human life?!"
"Karasz...you weren't the only one who failed to protect the children, nor were you the only one to fail negotiating with Alex," Red said. "The Noname Gang, Leilanie, your siblings...and myself, ESPECIALLY myself...all of us failed to do right."
"...What, you think one little failure is reasonable grounds for suicide?" Red chided. "So long as the chance keeps showing up, I refuse to give up that easily!"

"Well...yes, pay them no mind," Red agreed. "Wasn't really my main point...My main point is that unless a failure results in your death, I wouldn't call it a total defeat. So long as you're still alive, you can still dust yourself off and stand back up. And THAT is what I'm doing!"
"You're right... I shouldn't suffer failure this way." Karasz relived his spirits again, "I can still do the best I can to make sure everyone is safe."
