is anyone going to post?

1st official day of my 7th grade class, and what happens? some idiot figures out that there is a werewolf in his fongusparn. and suddenly everyone is wearing silver. during potions, whatever Teclando bully that i got paired with today leaned over and said "i heard that there is a werewolf in Anklan." i do my best to ignore him, and keep putting things in the pot, but he's really persistent. "you have any ideas? a rumor has been circling that its one of the third graders." i roll my eyes and look down at the pot. "well?" he asks. "i think that maybe if you stop jabbering about werewolves, you will get more work done!" i look up, and the potions teacher is standing behind me. Ms. Azana is one of my favorite teachers, and i'm so glad that she came over here. she looks at me and says "what have you done so far with your experiment?" i smile and say "well, in my other experiments, mixing the powdered dragons blood with unicorn hair has been successful, so i'm trying mixing griffin feathers in as well as some owl pellets and seeing what happens. if you want to watch, though, i don't know precisely what the mixture will do. i'm hoping that it will work as an invisibility spell, since griffin feathers have been used as a main ingredient n most of the invisibility spells we have read about." by this point, i seem to have caught the attention of most of the class, except a couple of Teclando thick-heads in the back. i take out a small glass bead and a eyedropper. i get some of the mixture into the eyedropper and squirted it on to the bead. to my surprise, instead of becoming invisible, it turned into silver!!! i backed away and said "excuse me? i think i cut myself." and ran from the room. damn! stupid potion that almost blows my stupid cover. everyone knows that there are werewolves, but usually they learn dark magic. i'm special. i learn light magic. and everyone goes berserk 7 years after they meet me because they think that they are going to get their jugular veins ripped out. if they knew that the werewolf was the know it all with the white hair, the vegetarian, they would laugh and say you were lying. they have no idea at ALL.

I'm in potions. I get paired with a Dark Magic person. Most of them are OK, but this guy is really, really emo-ish. "So what do you want to make for our potion?" I say in an attempt to start conversation. He grunts shrugs, and turns away. Yet another blockhead who forces me to do all the work. I mix some Shards of Pacmen, Lizards' Tounges, and Owl Feathers. I'm not sure what it'll do, but there's a safety block on potions in the classroom. So it can't do anything too bad. This is always my strategy in Potion Experiments: throw stuff together, see what happens. I pour it all on my head. The class doesn't even bat an eye: they are used to my crazy shenanigans. My whole head turns silver! I see that has also happened to everyone in the class who has used their potion yet. But our potions were totally different! What is going on? Although silver looks quite cute on Aquarius, I can't help noticing.

I go back to class and discover that everyone's potion turned whatever into silver. I realize, somebody messed with it to figure out ifthe werewolf was here! I look across the room and see a Qwazankari girl whose entire HEAD has turned silver! She has obviously done something stupid and poured it on her head. I walk over to her, pull my wand out of my purse, and say garinda. Her head turns back to normal, and she looks at me, confused. "Why did that just happen?" She asks. I say, "someone has been tampering with the potions . I think that they are trying to make a crude werewolf test. It didn't affect anyone in this class, did it? I hope not. I would hate to be teased and bullied like that. It would be terrible." She looks pensive, and studies the rest of the class. "How did you know what spell to use? I couldn't think of anything." I sigh and say " i started magic training before i got to school. I learned a lot of spells that aren't exactly conventional." She looked fine with this, and asked what my name was. "Sarissa. And yours?." "Tiara. Thank you or making my head normal again."

My bag swings at my hip as I stroll through the empty halls, they're so quiet during classes. Speaking of classes I'm now well and truely running late for mine. The corner of my mouth curls into and unbidden smirk and I look at the creased leaf of paper with the class number and details scrawled on it.
A sudden noise distracts me as a girl comes running out of one of the neary classrooms. She seems distressed but my attention zeroes in on the number on the door that swings shut behind her. Bingo. Seventh grade potions class with mixed fongusparns. My first class at this school. I haven't done a lot of potions so it's the only seventh grade class I'm taking. Mercifully I have proper ninth grade classes in everything else. After seven years of school together everyone seems to know everyone, but at least they won't know yet that I'm older. Give them day, it's not even lunch yet. I grin again, this time baring pointed teeth. Let 'em come.
There seems to be a bit of a commotion going on inside the class and I use the distraction to slip in and find a seat while the teacher deals with the plague of silver transformations going on.
"Shove over, Jack," I tell a thick looking boy I don't know. There's a silver bead sitting on the desk and a seat at the desk empty of a lab partner. I drop my bag on the floor and pick a glass jar from desk as I take the spare seat. Owl pellets. I wrinkle my nose and put the jar down. Another flask is labelled dragon's blood. It seems darker than the stuff I've used before, a slight metallic sheen. But what do I know?
The girl from earlier comes back into the class and begins dealing with one student who apparently dumped the contents of her potion over her head. Apparently silver was not meant to be the colour of the day despite the reeslts of everyone's potion.
"Don't you you add some sort of root or fungus to aborb a metal compound? Or is that for reducing acidity and for metals you use that dried herb - you know? What do you call it?" I realised my weak recollection of remedial theory was going on deaf ears as my apparant partner was caught up in the excitement.
"I reckon this'll flush out that werewolf, don'tcha think?
I ignored the question. "I dated a werewolf once," I said casually just to pull his leg. I flashed a toothy smile. "But it's hard enough when one person in a relationship wants to rip out your throat once a month, let alone when the guy does as well. Plus, they shed."
I laughed at the look he gave me trying to both figure out exactly what I was saying and whether I was serious. The first step took him longer than it should which confirmed my growing suspision that I'd gotten myself a dud of a lab partner.

"Y-yes...Hayako, yes, I've got it under control...yes I've made sure to bring the herbs...I've already done four protection spells, as well as the banishing spells that I can use for protection. I'll be fine, really! I ju-...no, of course not!"
"No cell phones in class, Bramson," the teacher murmured darkly.
"Hai, hai sensei. Look, Hayako, I have to go, really it's important...no, the teacher already asked me t-! NE?!" The teacher had used telekinesis, a skill Kenji had been unaware the man possessed. "N-ne!"
"Miss," the teacher spoke lowly into the phone, "You are disrupting my class." Kenji paled. Hayako wasn't going to like that...
"...WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE YOUNG MAN! WHY I HAVE HALF THE MIND TO GO TO FWSERGYNAMOPKLODEWA RIGHT THIS INSTANT AND WHIP YOU A GOOD ONE ON YOUR BACKSIDE! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHO I AM? I AM HAYAKO NAMIMATORI! TAKE THIS PHONE TO THE HEADMASTER AT ONCE AND I'LL HAVE YOU FIRED, DO YOU HEAR ME?!"
The class got a little bit quieter. Kenji had resolved to attempting to cover his face with a large spellbook he kept with him.
"...Mr. Bramson?" the teacher said dully. Reluctantly, Kenji lifted his head from the desk and looked up at his teacher. "See me after class. And please," the cell phone flew back to Kenji, and he barely managed to catch it, "refrain from using cellular devices during classes. Have I made myself clear?"
"Transparently so," Kenji rubbed the back of his head nervously. He put his phone in the pocket of his pants, the pocket that was on the outside of his right knee.
Kenji remained silent for the rest of the mathematics lecture. Dealing with people was such a pain!

Thank GOD that class is over with. someone decided that they needed my seat more than i did, but that wasn't hard to deal with. (level 22 levitation spell, and just finding another seat to put them in really fast.) another few people had body parts turn silver, but by this point the teacher had it under control. then she gave us a lecture. "Attention! If I find out who put these in the bottoms of the cauldrons, I will personally suspend you from all classes except arithmetic and history for the next six months!" i looked at what she was holding and gasped. those... are... "the second most dangerous substances in the magical world. Unicorn horns." wow. "I don't even know where you can get those! if you touch them with your bare skin, and are untruthful or you hurt someone earlier, it can burn you to ashes! and whoever put those in the cauldrons was obviously a liar, so how did that happen? i knew that in reaction to certain substances, it will turn organic material silver, but who would have though that someone would be stupid enough to use them?!" since i'm back at my room, i get a response. "dunno. why did you stop taking me to classes again?" i sigh and flop down on my bed. "i stopped taking you because you were TALKING all the time. remember? a couple of dark magic werewolves figured out what you were?" sigh from the back corner as my cousin walks over. a wolf. my life is really screwed up, you know that?

The bell rings for the class I don't go to. Yes, I always skip this class. I hate it. I don't know what I should do in my "break", however. Then I remember that this period the potions teacher always goes out to lunch. I remember overhearing a girl saying that they have unicorn horns in that class. With one, I would be invincible. I know how to get into the room. All I have to do is crawl in through the back window. I join a line of kids going outside. I act like I have a class out there too. Then I make sure no one is watching and take a quick detour to the back of potions. I slide open the window and hop inside. One I'm in there, I realize I will need something to pick them up with. I know I've lied before.

So, today just got a whole lot more interesting. in a very not good way. after the class after potions, i got a little magic hologram thing from my from the potions teacher, just like everyone else in the class, saying there was an emergency and they had to come back to the classroom RIGHT NOW. when we got there, Ms. Azana looks like she has just had a full blown panic attack. "students..." she begins in a shaky voice, "I am very disappointed. When i left the room after your class left, some person snuck in and decided to take the substance that i mentioned earlier from my desk. I don't know who it was, but when i find out, there is a good chance you will be expelled." A couple of students standing in the back gasp. "it was bad enough that the horns were here in the first place, but this is insane. I do not understand why anyone would put themselves into this position. All I can tell you is that if the horns show up on my desk within the next week, i will consider the matter dropped. Otherwise, i will have to subject all students in the class to a truth charm and interrogation. please do not make me do this." with that, she dismissed all of us from the room. I don't know who did this, but i hope they put them back. i DON'T want to be put under the hurampola charm; among other side affects the truth charm makes it impossible to say anything but the truth for 1 week. If people keep up the werewolf hunt, i'm not sure what would happen if someone asked me about it. I don't want to know, either. I want to strangle the idiot that put those blasted horns there in the first place...

Mod 3: Social Studies/Geography. My least favorite class in the entire school. Seriously. i hate it. who needs to know what continents are in the air and which are in the mantle and i'm never going to visit Nakat so i don't see why i need to learn about its main exports. Really, its a waste of time. And that's why its the class i skip.
So, instead of going to that class, i go find more secret passages. nobody has ever mapped the school, so i am working on the first one ever with one of my friends, who isn't technically a student. This is because nobody can see her. She was a student, but she isn't anymore. She is a ghost. Briana is one of the several ghosts at the school, and she is from a while ago. she has seen most of the different ways the school can set itself, so shes helping me with the map. The only places off limits to the students are the teachers lounge (which takes up too much of this place, about 1 floor), and the roof. That's where the fireworks are. Any student caught up there is going to be suspended for 3 months. other than that, I've mapped about 9/12ths of the 1st floor, and its working pretty well.

After the potions teacher told us that the unicorn horns had gone missing, I knew exactly who had done it. It was Tiara, the one who turned her head silver in the middle of class. When I saw her sneak through the window of the classroom, I knew she was up to something, but I didn't know what until today. The thing is, I like Tiara. I think she's really cool, and I don't want her to hate me. I know I should tell Ms. Azana who did it, but I don't want to ruin Tiara's plans. But if she doesn't return the horn, we will all get interrogated and both of us will get in trouble. So I decide to talk to Tiara privately.
We both have Mod 6 history, which is super boring, so I ask if she wants to skip and hang out for a while. She looks a bit confused, but agrees. Anything to

get out of history! We go up to my room and sit down on the bed awkwardly. "So," I say, "you heard about the unicorn horn being stolen from potions class?" She started fiddling with her jacket, a sign that she was nervous. "Yeah, everyone's been talking about it." "So who so you think did it?" I ask, looking her in the eyes. She refuses to meet my gaze, but says, "I don't know. It could be anyone." I decide to cut to the chase. "I really think you should give it back." She looks shocked, and says, "so now you're accusing me? I thought you were nice!" Then she stormed out of the room. Great. Now shes mad at me. Well, at least I tried. *sigh*

Everything was going fine until the dragons invaded.

More explanation: the dragons, nasty, fire-breathing brutes with an allergy to chicken, have attacked the school. blech. i'm not kidding about the nasty. they STINK. So about two days ago, an entire colony of them has flying over, and some idiot was on the roof. setting off fireworks. at the dragons. so now nobody is allowed onto the top level, and classes have been postponed. for until the dragons go away.
Now, don't go thinking that nobody is doing anything about it. They are. Its just that dragons move in enormous groups and there are only so many chickens and humans (or close to humans) are kind of inflammable.
