"I can't die if you keep making things easy, you know?"

Description

Image

Name: "Name's Zach,"

Zachary Ackers

Age: "Twenty four years old, okay?"

24

Eye Color: "Don't you have eyes of your own?

Blue

Hair Color: "White as snow."

White.

Height: "I'm no shrimp!"

5'11

Weight: "175 pounds of asskicking muscle, that's how much,"

175 lbs

Build: "I'm an athletic muscular."
Zachary won't be confused with someone out of shape, not with his shape. He's pretty intimidating to anyone who isn't at least built good a bit, but he wouldn't be considered 'ripped'. With his height in combination, he makes most people - even those who have more defention than he - look small and shrimpish. But, without a shirt, you don't get too much definetion, aside from the six pack he has.

Description: "Devilishly handsome, duh,"
Zachary has medium lengthed snow white hair that is usually kept unkempt. His eyes are now a demonic-looking red solely due to the mutation, though most will see blue due to that same mutation being used to hide them. Zach has a sturdy face, his chine defined and he is considered quite attractive, not that it matters. Because of his daily exercise and training, he has a muscular build that does look intimidating. He can come off as a jerk just by the way he smirks a majority of the time. Then again, he can smile really warmly, enough so that he counters his intimidating looks, or he can twist his face into a ugly shape that might scare even grown men. It all depends on his mood. Zachary forgets to shave, and thusly he tends to have a stubble, though never a beard.

Clothing: "I like my style, so don't diss it."
Zachary is almost never seen without his trademark crimson-red, two-taild coat that is covered in a few buckles and buttons, and that covers his black undershirt and pants that all almost look like one piece. It's needless to say that just after looking at him, you can tell he has a fondness for red. Among the suit he wears gloves that reveal his index fingers and thumbs. He tends to stand out in a crowd.

Personality: "Cocky and arrogant, as far as you know."
Zachary is quite easily explained as cocky, arrogant and sarcastic. There really isn't a time when you will find him unable to respond with a snarky comment nor quip, and he often doesn't take much seriously. You won't find him scared at near about anything, which some might see as stupidity. Odds are, if you put him in a group, he's the one to keep the group's morale up just by making sure there isn't too much of that 'serious stench' permiating the air. Even still, Zachary isn't a bad person, but quite the opposite. Though he could feasibly take your head off with a proper hook, he isn't too 'trigger happy' with his fists, and outside of a fight, he prefers to talk things over instead of punching them out. He's quite chivalrous at heart, though one might not know it at first. If he has any pet-peeves, it's any form of violence against woman, and this is one of the few things that can truly anger him. Almost contradictory to that last statement is that he likes to compliment woman, and that may come off as flirtatious, even if that isn't his intention. In truth, Zachary is quite the actor. With his parents gone, Zachary has been in a hidden depression. His sister is the only thing keeping him going, and possibly the same way around. Being only 8 and without a family isn't something Zachary wants her to experience, and he plans on making sure she has a brother to depend on.

What is home? "I guess my fans keep me going."
If his build didn't provide enough evidence, Zachary's body is his most important asset in his career. He is a professional MMA fighter, and not just a plain one, either. He's considered one of the best, and his near perfect Win/Loss ration proves this. The only time he lost was because of disqualification, and currently, people wonder if it is in fact possible to knock him out. At the moment, he holds the world Heavyweight championship, so life is good, and he is in fact rich. But the more he thinks about it, the more he wanders.

Back in the beginning of his professional career, Zachary and his family, which consisted of his mother, father and sister were on a plane to his next fight in London, but something went wrong with the aircraft and long story short, he and his sister were the only survivors. Family was a very important thing to Zach, and even though he has all the money in the world, he's worried what will happen if he doesn't get back to her.

Favorite Color: "What? Do you really have to ask?"
Red

"....and the winner, by knockout, is your World Heavyweight Champion, Zachary Ackers!"

Thousands of cheers once again filled the air of the huge building that a title-fight had taken place. Aside from the screams of fans, Zach's arm was raised into the air as well, his signature smirk found on his lips, as always, as he gazed around the audience. So lively they were, so happy and ecstatic that their champion was still undefeated. Were they ever expecting a different outcome?

Zachary gave his usual post-fight greeting to the loser as he finally became able to support himself without assistance. It was a friendly handshake, followed by a 'good fight' and some palling around. Zachary wasn't a sore winner, and always remained friendly after a fight. It wasn't anything personal, it was just them doing their job and their passion, nothing else. How could you hate someone for that?

The champion didn't stick around for much longer than needed. He disappeared into his vehicle and drove away from all the fans, the media and everyone else, only wanting to see one person. The thought of seeing his little sister brought up a warm, welcomed feeling in him, but also a less than pleasant one as well. It hurt just as much as it pleased him to see her.

Zachary parked his car, retrieved his keys and entered his residence in a hurry, not paying much attention to the luxurious place he called home. It was a bigger place, the walls littered with exotic paintings that he didn't really care for, the floor had some form of expensive rug on it, and anyone could tell that it was something no unwealthy citizen could afford. Zach didn't personally decorate the house, he simply went with whatever he was told would look good. But all this stuff had gotten asthetically boring quite a while ago, and seeing his sister was more enjoyable than staring in awe at his own residence.

He passed through the doors and continued up the staircase that laid to the side of the living room, heading straight up them, though not at a horrible sprint. He had slown down by now. Once he had ascended the steps, he took a familiar left and a few steps later, a right, followed by opening the door before his face.

He was greeted by the brightest of smiles.

"Zachary!" came a squeal of excitement. "You won again, just like you promised!"

The man took a seat next to the brown-haired girl's bed, smiling at her before speaking. "Do I ever break promises? I told you your big bro has got this, didn't I?"

"Yeah! But did you get hurt?"

"Pfft! What? No~ho. A little kick like that?" he chuckled a bit nervously. "Nah, I didn't feel a thing!"

Claire deadpanned almost immediately, dropping her smile. "The announcers said you were 'rocked'."

The nervous chuckled slowed to a stop before Ackers spoke again. "Uh.... don't listen to them. They don't know what they were saying."

"....right." she sighed, but smiled again, much to Zach's pleasure. "I'm glad you're alright though." she giggled.

.....
.....
.....

"Huh?" as the life returned to Zach, he found himself in unfamiliar territory. Underneath him was green grass, not white tile. Above him sat the blue sky, obscurred by tress instead of any form of ceiling. The song of the rainforest was audible in comparison of his rather quiet abode. Zachary wasn't a detective, but it didn't take one to deduce that he wasn't in his home anymore. More than anything, he worried:

Did I lose a fight?

The sound of Levi's footsteps closing in on Emilia caused the girl to smirk. She heard Levi's fierce words as she closed in on her but she continued to walk away up until she so rudely poked her, repeatedly at that. Stopping immediately she listened to the rest of what the girl had to say, the smirk now gone. Once Levi finished she turned to face her rowdy player, maybe she had more to learn from them after all. She observed the stance Levi finished with; looking Levi up and down her eyes took on an artificial nature of focusing on what seemed to be random points of Levi's body as if her eyes were a machine scanning parts of a product.

When she finished she smiled up at Levi, "So this is what it means to be angry." With that statement the game master immediately took on the same stance Levi was in, even her facial expression imitated Levi, "Queen is not such a bad title, but like I said before I am the game master and this is my game." Smirking she continued, "It just happens that your life is on the line."

"You see I was going to have mother upload all the information you needed to know after I left," Her words were cold and emotionless along with her face as her smirk disappeared, cocking her head, "But you had to be impatient, very well... mother if you would."

As soon as those words left her lips all the players were frozen as information was being uploaded to the minds of the players and being stored within the memory bank. Information on the Dead System, Mad Box, rules, the game 'Game Over', death penalties, their last moments of their abductions, and just to be dramatic the last bit of information was the one thing that gave them reason to get back home. All this information was done verbally within their minds and visually. Once all the information was given to them in what to seemed to take an eternity when in actuality took on milliseconds, they were unfrozen and reality fizzed back into visual.

"Now do you get it?" The game master asked as she slowly walked backwards with her arms outstretch, "The only way out is through playing... GAME OVER."

Well, it seems that whatever happened, Zachary wasn't awake yet. Though he was surprised at this - he had never dreamed anything like this before. Maybe he was drugged or something, and that's why he was having odd dreams about waking up in a field with strangers with one telling them indirectly that she was batshit insane. He couldn't think of a time beforehand that he'd every think of a scenario such as this, because it made no sense to him at all. The only thing that did make sense was that she said they had to FIGHT to the death. Zachary of course took that literally, and started feeling a bit confident, though he wasn't entirely accepting of the situation still.

But it would seem like he had the cool head of the group, as one was a child and the other instantly set off with unpleasant words towards the crazy woman. She even poked the girl's shoulder a few times, obviously unhappy with this joke. Zach watched as the green-haired girl took to being a copycat, maybe just to annoy the other woman. Zach smiled. This smile soon disappeared as the green-haired crazy mentioned something about her mother and a buffalo (he couldn't really hear from where he was) and his mind was assualted by not only the rules of the game, but the memories of his abduction.....

"Well, I'm glad you're glad I'm alright." Zachary smiled towards his little sister. "Now, how about I go fetch us our dinner? I'm sure Rosie is done with it, right? She usually starts at six."

She smiled. "Yeah, so go get it!" she ordered.

Zachary stood himself up and started out her bedroom. His smile wasn't there anymore, now that he wasn't with her. Just a blank expression, like usual for him when nobody was around. As he descended the stairs, one could easily tell he wasn't happy. Not because his parents were dead - he had long ago come to terms with that, but because Claire was so limited. It hurt him to know that he got to walk around and do what he loved when she couldn't manage to even stand. She was robbed of her legs at such a small age that she hadn't really lived. While in truth, she didn't mind it that much and cared more about spending time with her brother rather than walking, Zach couldn't realize this, and moped.

He stepped into the kitchen, noticing a skinny, white maid. She smiled at him as was her routine. "Hello." she greeted him. "I noticed you ran straight up to see Claire. I didn't see your fight, so I don't know... was she happy?" she asked casually as she subconciously began making two plates.

Zachary smiled. "Of course she was. Have I ever lost?" he boasted quite confidently.

She smiled innocently. "Yes."

Zach shut up for a minute, mumbling something under his breath. "So anyways, how was she today?"

"If she could, I bet she would've ran fifty laps around the house." she started enthusiastically. "She was so excited that you were fighting near home, so you can imagine."

"Yeah, I could." he chuckled as Rosie began finishing the plates. A large potato, fried veggies and ham sat on each plate. "Here you go." she offered them to him. Zachary nodded graciously before heading out the room. Up the stairs and through the door once more, he found Claire still smiling. She glanced up at him expectingly and he handed her the plate.

"Thank you." she said before digging in.

....
....
....

Ow... his head hurt. "Why are you doing this?" Zachary demanded, now realizing that this was no dream, but actually happening. Surely it was on everyone else's mind, but he spoke up first. "I have someone to get back to."

Zachary raised his hand at the green-haired crazy to tell her to hold on and looked towards the new voice. Were people going to pop out of oblivion continuously, or was this just the last person? He hoped so, because he knew what this woman was saying, and that it was true. He didn't want too many people dying, actually, he wanted nobody at all to die. He glanced over the man and raised an eyebrow. She kidnapped a monk? What was the point in that? She must've traveled quite far just to fetch him, but then again, she had a child too so that must not be much of a problem for her - in terms of being unlazy enough to go wherever she went.

Then he called Zach by name. Still confused but also moderately happy someone recognized him, he smiled. "It's always nice to see a fan." Zach began. "Though I wasn't aware that Monks watched me." he gave a chuckle and didn't seem like he was pushing for anything because he really wasn't. "But right now isn't the time to stare in awe at someone like myself, for we're apparently supposed to play a game for our lives." his smile dropped as he spoket his, making it hard to think he was joking.

He turned once more to face Crazy Incarnate and pointed at her with one finger. "I don't think Mr....." he turned back to the monk. "What was your name?" he quickly asked then sighed and turned back to the girl again without waiting for an answer. "I don't think he knows what is going on. Can your 'mother' show him, or do I need to explain to him the details of the childish game you worked up?" Zachary shook his head lightly. It was quite obvious that he wasn't taking this as serious as the others, or at least he didn't appear that way.

"Even the most fun game in the world won't sell much if we're stuck in the lobby forever."

Bennie Dewhurst

Who were these people? Who was this girl who had greeted them? Why was he here? Why? Why? Why? He was tired of not knowing, but he was much too terrified to ask. All he wanted was to go back home, where his family and Alpine was. His entire frame quivered with pure fear, the boy was on the verge of crying. Bennie had yet to move from his seated position for the past few minutes - he refused to budge. He didn't like the sound of bickering, his ears were unfamiliar to the gruff and uninviting voices of the men. For once, in his life, he wanted silence. Was that so hard? He had been a good boy, he never asked for anything not within his parent's reach. What had he done to deserve this? Bennie scrambled towards a nearby tree, but still reasonably far, and pushed his back against it. The boy squeezed his eyes shut and pressed his hands over his ears - the sleeves of his hoodie muffling any outside noises. He didn't want to be noticed, he didn't want to be here. He had convinced himself that maybe if he ignored it, perhaps he would go back. Back to the warm folds of his duvet, back to the gentle caress of his teddy cat, back home.

Suddenly, a blinding light flashed through the gloomy inside of his eyes. Bennie jerked back in surprise but he did not open his eyes. He watched, stiff with a combination of curiosity and shock, as a script continued to run across his eyelids. The boy assumed it was information provided to them by the strange girl, but he could not read it fast enough. In random intervals, twitchy images were slotted in between the columns of texts. Each picture projected something valuable he had recently left behind. A half-open door, spilling light into the dark bedroom. His father sitting beside him on the mattress, a loving smile etched onto his face. The glossy pages of a storybook. The glowing stickers of the moon and the stars glued onto his ceiling. Alpine snuggling in between his slender arms. It then abruptly stopped, giving Bennie a sense of isolation.

It was a confusing concept for a child's mind to understand, Bennie was now even more homesick. Had that been done solely for that purpose? To remind the group what was patiently waiting for them back at home? The boy glanced back up at the girl, what was her agenda? Did she not like them or did she just like being mean? Did she not realise how much that short-lived memory had broken him inside? The boy was fed up with asking questions. he didn't want to be with these people. They were all strangers, Mother had told him never to speak to strangers - he hadn't intended to speak to them in the first place. His lip began to quiver and he could feel the edges of his eyes smarting. Without a second thought, Bennie began to cry. He began to bawl and blubber like any child his age. He wiped his dribbling nose with his dirtied sleeve before continuing with an equal amount of bravado. He was too tired to think properly. The inner turmoil of emotion concealed within him had burst out - and Bennie had openly welcomed it.

Emilia watched in pleasure as her final player appeared right before her eyes, she just loved the sight of seeing true life being recreated within her system. This was her prize and joy without it she felt empty... this was her reality. She listened and was rather impressed on how quick player number two, Zachary Ackers digested the information and accepted the situation. He even kept his composure and that brought a twitch to her forced smile.

"Yes you are correct the game has begun now that all four players are here, in other words I am simply wasting your precious time that you could be using to return to your family and friends." She was going to continue but as soon as she said the word 'friends' her smile dropped along with her arms and she simply stood there staring.

She was staring directly at Levi, the first candidate. What the others could not see due to their position was the reconstruction process going awry. Levi's face was literally disintegrating at the atomic level, first slowly then faster. As the process continued the others could see Levi's body literally disappear starting with clothes, hair, skin, muscle, fat, tendons, organs, bones, and so on until nothing was left. To the players this was something random, out of the norm but to the game master this happened often... files can be uploaded incorrectly. Unfortunately for this file, it was a living being.

"That ladies and gentlemen is what happens when you lose, just with more pain," With that Emilia turned away hiding her angered face, they weren't ready for an angry game master... not just yet. "If I were you I would start moving, these forests tend to come alive at night..."

With those words she disappeared like light disappeared from a room once darkness has engulfed it.
