At first glance, your initial impression of Vander is that he's probably arrogant, cocky, and selfish. He has that confident stride, flirtatious smile, and that gleam in his eye that just screams that he's up to no good.

Vander would be categorized as rather attractive, he has long, well-kept hair that's a deep violet and pale skin. His features are soft and somewhat effeminate, though he still retains an odd type of masculinity despite it. Vanderā€™s eyes are a pale gray color that tends to reflect the color of his surroundings. His emotions are easier to read than a book, and he doesn't make an effort to hide them so you can easily tell what Vander is thinking or feeling, even if he doesn't say anything.

His sense of style is simple, yet somewhat elegant. Vander is usually found wearing armor that is easy to move around him to assist with his fighting style, preferring leather and cloth over heavy armors. He tends to choose purples and blues to bring out his hair, though whether or not this stylistic choice is conscious or just force of habit is unknown. Even when in ā€˜safe zonesā€™ Vander will have his sword slung over his shoulder and a dagger at his hip just in case it is needed.

Vander can be considered a mixture between rogue and minor summoner. Most of his skills lie in his quick, easy movements that allow for dodging attacks; high health that allows him to get hit many times, though not as much as a class that acts more as a tank; and use of a series of small, quick attacks that deal a decent amount of damage.

He fights primarily with a katana when in battle. However, he does keep a dagger on hand in case he gets himself caught in a tight situation. Vander is quite skilled in fighting with daggers despite usually using his katana and should not be underestimated even if he does not have his katana on him.

Finally, he has learned a minor spell that allows him to summon a familiar to fight by his side. The familiar levels up with him and is extremely loyal to both him and his party. The spell remains active at all times unless he dismisses it or it suffers too much damage and Vander usually keeps the familiar summoned as he likes the company. The familiar, which he has named Asta, has both a passive form and fighting form

    | Adventurous
    | Narcissistic
    | Confident
    | Flirtatious
    | Easy-going
    | Non-Competitive
    | Careless
    | Unpredictable
If you take away the current situation that heā€™s found himself in, youā€™d see that Vander is your typical teenage boy in quite a few of his personality traits. For one thing; he doesnā€™t put much thought into how his actions affect others and goes about doing things more for his own gain or entertainment. Call him self-centered or narcissistic, he doesnā€™t really care. Heā€™s just in it for the fun and if Vanderā€™s enjoying himself, then does it matter if anyone else is? Not in his mind.

Despite this, Vander does tend to be very people-oriented. He enjoys surrounding himself with others, especially if doing so increases personal gain. Heā€™s quite good at keeping his selfish intentions well hidden and many of his other personality traits do a nice job at attracting friends. Heā€™s very confident and personable. Vander knows what to say to turn others into putty in his hands and he can be quite manipulative without those being manipulated even realizing it.

Of course, he doesnā€™t do this on purpose, these negative factors are a result of his carelessness. If he really knew how those on the receiving end of his self-promoting actions felt, heā€™d probably feel absolutely awful. Like mentioned before, Vander is a very social person. He likes being around people and forming relationships and friendships and he truly values those that he becomes close to, despite his many traits that may make it seem otherwise.

Vander was the only child of two parents who worked extremely hard to conceive, so when he was finally born he was spoiled to death. His parents doted on his every desire and quickly found themselves with a greedy, difficult to please son. Vander wasnā€™t exactly a bad kid, and he never really acted the part of snobby, spoiled kid. However, because the household revolved around Vander he assumed so did the rest of the world and found himself caring more about himself and his own happiness than that of those around him.

This attitude was trimmed back a bit after his father lost his job when Vander was 10 and the family went through a rough patch. His father had a difficult time finding work due to the circumstances of the job-loss and his mother had never gone to college, intending to just be a full-time house mom, and also faced difficulty when looking for work. Suddenly Vander wasnā€™t handed everything that he wanted on a silver platter and, surprisingly, he took the transition rather gracefully.

Unfortunately, the family situation worsened and Vander began exhibiting signs of depression around the age of 15. Seeing their beloved son in such a way encouraged Vanderā€™s parents to work harder and Vanderā€™s father finally found a decent job and a few months later his mother found one as well. Things began looking up for the family and soon enough the household atmosphere began brightening.

Vanderā€™s parents bought him a computer when he was 16 and he soon found the wonders of MMORPGā€™s and immersed himself in them eagerly. These games helped him overcome his depression and as he became more skilled he gained more confidence and spirit.

The GameMaster watched as the group of teenagers woke up in the pitch black room. He programmed in a scroll that read: "You will play my game. If you do you May be rewarded, but if you don't you Will be punished. Enjoy and try not to die immediately. Oh, and choose wisely" In the room the GameMaster placed 5 Equip Packs for the Players containing randomized weapons and armour.

He gives the other players a quick glare and sprints towards the 2nd box in the left. He saw himself as a pretty lucky person, so if he got a crappy set it was okay. He'd get better items on his quests, or simply buy them. He mastered dual wielding and a scythe in as weapons in other games, so he was used to them, but anything else would be okay. As magic, he would master flames and ice. He kept a balance between these in other games he played:
Scythe: Lethal, but medium speed.
Dual-wield: Less damage per hit, but quick succession of hits.
Fire: Burn
Ice: Freeze
He was the first to pick a box, but... What equipment did he get?
He openned his inventory.

The GameMaster admired Jack's bravery as he rushed to the second box. The GameMaster admired this so programmed his powers as followed:
Weapon: Scythe
Skill: Crafting
Armour: Steel Plate

Amara watched as the boy ran for one of the packs after giving the group a glare. She couldn't suppress a giggle as she guessed this kid was the type that wanted to do things on his own. It worked on occasions, but she knew that most of the time you needed a group to complete quests and keep from dying in these types of games. So she only hoped that the others would be willing to form a party.

"I suppose I'll choose next." She said with a small shrug and smile as she headed towards the bag on the end. She'd played enough of these games to be comfortable in any class, but she knew her best classes were either a mage class or a ranged class. So she was excited to see what she would get as she picked up the equipment pack on the end. What would she get?

A scythe, Steel Plate, Crafting?... SCYTHE?!!! He hopped of happiness as he awaited for further instructions. He would not equip them just yet. He wanted to keep an element of surprise. He sat away from the other players, checking the items' stats and smiled. "This isn't any normal newbie game is it?" He said as he grinned at the girl who approached a box after him. He put his cloak on, but kept the hood off. He watched the girl pick one. "I could use a healer, but... Having anyone else in a party... "Hey, GM. What happens if our HP drops to 0?" He said grinning tauntingly. Jack wasn't planning on dying anytime soon, so he would have to decide his llay style. He had read and watched many shows where people died in video games, and he didn't even remember logging in... That would be fun.

Aizen groaned before lifting from the uncomfortable position had was placed in. Seriously, he could have hurt himself resting like this. He looked around before feeling his face slightly. "Wher... Where are my glasses...?" He said before searching around for them. He was blind as a bat without them and yet he preferred to read without them on. What a weirdo. He smiled finally finding them and placing them on his face. He looked around to see the others and the voices. Too much was happening way to fast. He sighed and ruffled his puffy shaggy hair before tugging at the bag in the middle. "What is this Christmas or something?....."

He raised his hand and a scythe his height appeared as he grasped on to it. "I can tank." He messed around in his inventory and equipped the steel plate. "Even though I'd rather DPS." He held the scythe with his right hand and moved it around a bit to get a feel of the weight. "Now, I can use the system's skills,... But I can wield it without any help, chaining my own moves. Game Master. Can we change class freely?" He said as he played around with his awesome scythe. "Large parties slow you down. And if you all form a party I'll solo. There's just no way."

Carnival Vopal glanced around anxiously. Her eyes skimmed the room, left to right. How had she got here? She noticed that two of the others had already grabbed a pack. She was still confused, but this was one thing she understood. A small smile graced her features. On first glance, it would seem like just that: a smile. However, the intentions behind that smile were a bit more... manipulative. Without hesitation, the blonde girl raced forward, scooping up the pack. She opened it eagerly, red eyes hungry for something good.
