So begins...
Isaac examined his patient's wound carefully. The wound itself was nothing special, something you might get falling hard on the street. The interesting part, however, was the dry crust sitting on top of it. The blood had dried long ago, leaving a dry crust on top of the wound. This is as normal on a wound, as it bleeding. The problem was that, if he has been told the truth, the wound had occurred more than a month ago, and with the size of this wound, it was never good to leave it be for this long. The crust was covered in dust, and as far as he could see, some mold was growing. "Tell me truth doc. Will I die?" The man was agitated, but not necessary because of the wound, but more from Isaac's appearance. "Yes, you will eventually." "What? No, I mean, will the wound heal?" Isaac took a last look before grabbing his bladed syringe. He used it mostly as a weapon, but it sometimes came handy as a medical tool. "Yes, it will." Isaac then slowly pushed the blade between the crust and the wound. The man started to whimper in pain, Isaac ignored him. The wound itself was no problem he just needed to clear off the crust. He methodically used the syringe to slowly peel the crust away, until only the wound was visible. "What now? Do you patch it up or something?". "No." Isaac cleaned the syringe and placed it back in his tool belt. "Now I heal it." He then put his index fingers and thumbs on opposite sides of the wounds, as if he was pinching it. The sides started to smoke and turned a bright white. "What are you doing?!" The man almost screamed, but he was to scared to move. The wound kept smoking, and the sides started to close until the wound completely disappeared. Isaac stepped away. "Its done. I would like to receive my payment now, I have other patients to attend." The man, still shocked from what happened, pointed at a small bag on the desk. Isaac grabbed it without counting it, he could see it wasn't much but he didn't become a doctor for the money, nodded at the man, and left the house.
Isaac walked slowly, with his hands on his back, his right one holding his left one loosely. People stopped to stare at the man with the strange bird like mask. Isaac, as always, ignored them and just kept walking. His next patient lived somewhere close to the market, which facilitated things. There were't many houses close to the market. As he was walking he noticed a lighting bolt close to his general direction. He stopped and thought about this for a moment. It was obvious to him what a random lighting on the middle of the day meant, however he decided to wait a few moments. Just as he thought, moments later a figure appeared from the sky and descended, using fire to glide and stop his descent. Isaac consider going to where the other genesis where soon to be located, but then decided against it, he still had one more patient. He continued walking the way he was moments before, ignoring yet again the people staring at him.
Isaac walked out of the house of his last patient. This last one had been extremely easy to cure, it was just a broken rib. He had cured her, collected his payment, and now he was walking to the place he last saw the lighting strike and the flaming individual. Walking calmly and somewhat relieved that no one was staring at him anymore. Whoever, or whatever, was bringing their attention, Isaac hoped it would last for a while, since he preferred to keep a low profile.
As he reached the origin of the lighting, he saw a group consisting of three people. Nothing special about them, except that everyone was looking at them as if they might explode at any moment. Isaac walked to them slowly, with his hands on his back. When he got close to them and said "You must be the cause of all this commotion I presume. As well as the lighting and fire display."
Sky nodded and then bowed hearing the other's names, "I am Sky Minato" he said laughing at his own name, "Oh the irony that I am named Sky" he said as he soon nodded, "Might as well." he said as he bowed again, and walked with Jak and Circe, 'well, at least I can fly if things get horrible' he thought as he looked back and noticed people starting to go back to where they were. Sky had relaxed a little as he adjusted his gauntlets. Although he did notice someone, he basically said hello to them, "Well hello sir, may I help you?" he said with a confused tone.
"Such an elegant name Circe it has such a positive ring to it." Jak said softly as he looked towards her, the genesis of lightning he thought to himself. Such a beautiful woman, so powerful with a smile he released her hand giving one last bow and looking over to Sky. "Yes very Ironic." Jak commented with a gentle smile. He attempted to remain as friendly as possible, they all seemed different but similar in his mind a driving force had to be connecting them all. It was within Jak's nature to behave like he did, as long as no one tried to harm him or his friends he was a very kind person his temper might get them into trouble with the wrong crowds but he didn't mind.
Jak's eyes darted over his shoulder and upon a strange doctor looking man, a pointed mask covering his face hiding his facial features. The rest of his outfit looked that of a average doctor, but he could tell that his man was something much more different he had to be a genesis. The power that was emitted by Sky and Circe was also expelled by this man, turning to give Isaac his full attention Jak began to speak "Such a beautiful display right? But yes we are the cause of this outbreak of fear, I rather not shake up the towns people but I need to get here quick. I'm Jak, the beautiful lady to my right is Circe and he's Sky, care to join us Circe is something to talk about."
He attempted to be well spoken and diplomatic when talking to strangers, well he was about to go adventuring with the two he had already found. Where could the other genesis be located hopefully they would gather around soon, whatever Circe had to speak to them about must be important
"Such a beautiful display right?" Said the one who, as Isaac assumed, had control over fire. Although beautiful weren't the words Isaac would use to descrive the light show that had recently happen, although it did what it was intended for. "But yes we are the cause of this outbreak of fear, I rather not shake up the towns people but I need to get here quick. I'm Jak, the beautiful lady to my right is Circe and he's Sky, care to join us Circe is something to talk about." Isaac nodded at them, looking at each one for a brief moment, gaining all the information he could. This was something he tended to do when he met people that he believe would be of importance. "I am Isaac Hoffen" He introduced himself calmly, there was no need for a show when a common introduction was enough. He considered for a moment about joining them, he didn't have any patients left, for now. However, he did come here not just to see who originated this revolt, but to converse with them. "I will gladly join you, this is, after all, the reason I came here." He stood there and waited for Circe to announce what she wanted to discuss.
Circe Hammond
The people around the group of three were starting to settle down.
"You must be the cause of all this commotion I presume. As well as the lighting and fire display." A man in a strange bird mask said, Circe figured that he must know what was going on. As Jak introduced them to the man, she thought about what she would say. Of course they would have to find the others... maybe they were already here. And they would have to stay together for now, maybe they could rent a flat. She figured that the best idea was to just start talking.
There was four of them now, all introduced, Circe, Jak, Isaac, and Sky. Circe smiled at the four and rubbed her hands together.
"Let's walk, shall we?" She said, moving out into the street. "As you probably have figured out... I am the Lightning Genisis, I think that we should stick together, seeing as we all have something in common."
" Blake Jeger, ma'am" Blake replied and bowed to her. Angela's smile softly returned. Was this an act to try to impress, or was he just simply trying to return respect? Although his name seemed to fit his appearance and actions quite nicely and it was said in a way that was still frightening, she could tell it was the truth. As he continued to explain how she had earned the right to know his name, she nodded once to show that she understood and agreed. Angela watched his gesture and listened to his words. " I fear the Genesis you seek may not stay stationary for too long. So please be swift." He stated. 'He said please' she noticed. "You're right. Let's continue" Angela replied, quickly following behind Blake. Angela was still unsure of him coming, but he was right. There was little time for chat, and the others could disappear before they even have a chance to see them.
As Angela and Blake grew closer to the area where the lightning bolt had been witnessed, she grew more and more confused. Where were the other Genesis? Had they already left..? Angela began to think more about this. This was bad for them to loose track of the others, but slightly good. If Blake was trying to kill them all, he wouldn't be able to if they're lost. This was almost perfect. Now she could almost propose to go separate ways now, and she could find the others on her own. Angela nearly smiled at the thought, before she spotted a strange group of people. One of which was a woman, two men and.. she couldn't tell what the last one was. Could they be it...? If so, Angela had to pretend not to see them. But she had already been staring at them for so long, Blake might have noticed... She wasn't sure if she should reviel them, or pretend as if they weren't there. She was nervous, and remained silent.
Sky nodded, "Well as you know, I am the Wind Genesis, and by the looks of it more were drawn by the lightning..." he said before jumping up and landing by the two whom ran up causing a gust of wind around him again, "Evening." he said eying the two, one seemed like a Vampire (If only Sky knew...) which was unsettling to him a bit, but the other seemed to be a knight to him, she seemed though, nervous, of course by what he could tell by her breathing and smiled a little, "You okay...?" he asked as he looked at the woman straight in the eyes, "I'm of no harm." he said with to him was a stupid smile.
Angela was quite surprised when the man ran towards her and Blake at inhumanly speeds, but she was soon relieved to know that it must have been the Wind Genesis. He started with a greeting, then asked of her current state. Angela looked up to Blake for a moment, still cautious of him. Blake seemed 'cheerful' that he and Angela had found the other Genesis, but she'd have to worry about what he had in store for them later. For now, she wold need to meet this friendly new stranger.
For the first time in so long, Angela let a chuckle escape. "I'm fine. I was just wondering if maybe you and your friends could be the Genesis, and it seems I was correct.." Angela smiled to the fast one and held out her hand respectively, for him to shake. "My name is Angela Mesi, the Genesis of Water. and you..?"
Circe Hammond
As Sky commented on the newcomers and raced over to greet them, Circe smiled. These two had to be some kinds of Genesis... she could tell just by the way that they looked.
"I guess we should go greet them as well," she said while grabbing both Isaac and Jak's hands and running over. Due to Circe's incredible speed and the other three people's locations, this took under two seconds.
She smiled at the newcomers and curtsied, letting go of the other two mens' hands, and waited for Sky to tell the newcomers their names.
Sky smiled, "Well, I guess I'll have to introduce, I'm Sky Minato, the one whom just ran up here like The Flash is Circe, Sir rocket-hands back there is Jak, and Mystery man is Isaac" he said smiling, "they are the few we've met so far" he said as he bowed a bit, "its a pleasure to meet you Angela" he said smiling as he caused a minor breeze to flow by.
Jak gave another friendly smile to the man in the mask who introduced himself as Isaac " Nice to meet you Isaac, I assume you are one of the genesis. I can feel the same energy within you that rages through my body although we are of different but similar types. Drawing some power from the sun, fire gives birth to light ya know." Jak finished addressing Isaac, the likeness in the elements made him smile gently. Someone who drew upon a common ground to fight, Jak was hoping to find a powerful ally within Isaac. Circe's gentle voice rung out when she announced herself being the lightning genesis. Something that Jak quickly deduced from her display of power, nothing about this group was too surprising until Sky pointed out a pair not to far from them.
Jak looked over to where Sky now stood, a female knight and a white haired male stood together watching Sky as he introduced himself. "I guess I'll go check it out since it peaked his interest," he said but before he could move Circe took his hand sprinting over too the three. Jak gave Sky a wave and darting his eyes from the knight and the white haired guy trying to pick up if they were genesis or not. Once he figured out that they were Jak smiled " Great the gang is almost all together, Jak Fira the fire genesis." He said giving a formal bow before the knight and the other
"Sky Minato.. What a perfectly fitting name." Angela responded, looking over to the others with a grin, presuming they were Genesis's as well. And each one seemed to be just as polite as Sky, or she could hope. She looked over each one of them as he told her their names. Circe, Jak, and Isaac. The one who wouldn't show his face. Angela guessed Circe was the Genesis of Lightning, but she wasn't sure what the other two were. But Angela let out a sigh of relief and closed her eyes for a moment, knowing now that they were all sure to be people of Genesis, of god like powers and like her. She blinked and looked back to Sky cheerfully. "And it's a pleasure to meet you as well, Sky! But it was only destiny. The Genesis were bound to find each other eventually..." Angela chuckled again, and looked back over the others one last time before the question began to form. There were only five..? Angela was so sure there had to be more... "So far? How many are left to find...?" She questioned Sky, hoping he had been keeping track.
Derek sees two more people join the odd group as he eats. well that's an interesting bunch. . . .wait, hold on. he blinks and takes a good look at them. Each had something unique about them. . . . Something he couldn't place. Then he saw some of them use their powers. you have got to be kidding me. . . . Six. . . . I find six right of the bat. Derek chuckles himself and gets up. He slings his pack onto his shoulder and strides over to them. Again, he's the biggest and tallest person there. Everyone seemed to give off a different feel to him. One was dark and seemed vampiric in nature. Another seemed to carry a breeze wherever he went, the girl next to him reminded him of a thunderstorm. He couldn't place the one in the bird mask but chose to ask later. Next was a boy that had the feel and heat of the forge about him. Lastly was a girl in armor who smelled like spring rain. Derek grinned with delight.I found them, grandpa I actually found them. Derek drew himself to his full height, which was close to seven feet, and stressed the group. "Excuse me ladies and gentlemen. . ." He crossed his arms and showed of his stone skin armor. ". . .would any of you happen to be a Genesis?" He was obviously being funny but still carried a solid and forms or about him, giving a playful and warm smile at the six individuals before him.
"Nice to meet you Isaac, I assume you are one of the genesis. I can feel the same energy within you that rages through my body although we are of different but similar types. Drawing some power from the sun, fire gives birth to light ya know." Said the one called Jak. Isaac just nodded in response, all that needed to be said about his powers were already said, so he added no more.
"I guess we should go greet them as well" Circe grabbed his hands and carried them with great speed before he could react. Unlike Isaac, she liked to rush things. Sky was already talking to the newcomers, at least with the woman, since the other one said nothing. Isaac took one moment to look at them.
"Well, I guess I'll have to introduce, I'm Sky Minato, the one whom just ran up here like The Flash is Circe, Sir rocket-hands back there is Jak, and Mystery man is Isaac" Sky introduced all of them, with a respective nickname to each one. Mystery man? Isaac though, and almost chuckled, almost. He hoped that he wouldn't refer to him like that in the future, at least without Dr. in front.
He eyed the newcomers again. The woman was talking openly with Sky, while the man just stayed put and said nothing. It wasn't hard for Isaac to guess which genesis he was, due to his appearance.
Circe Hammond
"I guess just the six of us have found each other..." Circe said. "There must be others."
Circe paid attention to Sky introducing the group and noticed a large man looking at them. The new man walked over to the group of six and asked if any of them happened to be a Genesis.
Circe laughed and said: "Well this is turning out splendidly!" she smiled. "I am Circe, the lightning Genesis and this is Jack of fire, Sky of wind, Isaac of light, I presume, Angela of water, and..." Circe realized that she did not know the tall dark man's name. She turned to him expectantly.
Jak sat out the introductions, although they were his ally's he was lost in his on train of thoughts. The genesis resonated deep feeling within him and Angela gave off an aura that he naturally disliked, when Circe mentioned that the knight was a genesis of water. Jak quickly understood why he didn't like her aura fire and water naturally didn't mix, although he would try to get over the effects of being complete opposites. "Yea I guess we did find each other, it was pretty quick thanks to Circe randomly shooting lightning and drawing us like moths to the flame," Jak commented turning to the huge man that made his presence known very quickly. He asked if they were any of the genesis, and casting his look over the man Jak responded "Yes yes we are, and I suppose you are also one of the genesis." He said with a slight smile
Jak backed away slightly he didn't like large crowds but he spoke again trying to gather the attention of everyone "Hey I know standing here and making a huge commotion about finding each other is cool and all but I know a place we could talk that isn't so open to spy's. My dad has a blacksmithing place not to far from here." Jak smiled and motioned his hands over in the direction they should walk in.
Blake had kept himself quiet as everyone else round him spoke. He was using this to take in all the information he could as it seemed introductions were flying around everywhere. Circe of Lightning, Jak of Fire, Sky of Wind, Angela of Water. He could only assume that the rather large male who had approached them belonged to the earth, that or his eyes deceived him. Of course then one Blake only had to glance at and he knew. Issac of Light. Opposite Genesis had this effect upon each other that varied between the Genesis but with two such primal Elements of Dark and Light. The effect was quite prominent.
Glancing across and catching Circe's expecting gaze he spoke swiftly and shortly. " Blake" he said not adding what Genesis he was as he assumed by now that much should of been worked out. Granted with some of the others it was more difficult to spot, but with one such as himself it should be easy. Though he soon turned his gaze upon the Fire Genesis, his suggestion of heading back to a forge to speak. " Now while i wont deny that at some point preparations will be needed... i find your suggestion of spies within the same sentence of also mentioning someone close enough to name as your dad Puzzling"
Isaac kept looking at Blake. The effect of both Light and Dark genesis being so close was fascinating, as if life and death were face to face. He wondered how light and dark magic would interact with each other, the possibilities were almost endless. He would have to ask him later for a demonstration of his powers for a small experimentation.
He stared at space while he managed his train of thoughts, while the others kept talking. He saw, on the corner of his eye, a child fell and starting crying due to a cut on the knee, his friends getting closer to see the cut. Isaac looked at the child, and concentrated a little. The sides of the cut became a bright white and started to heal itself. The children got away scared, while the child looked at it open mouthed. When the cut finished healing, the child looked at it relieved, and then continue to play with his other friends. Isaac smiled under his mask. His powers allowed him to extend the field of his job further than his normal patients.
"Hey I know standing here and making a huge commotion about finding each other is cool and all but I know a place we could talk that isn't so open to spy's. My dad has a blacksmithing place not to far from here." Said Jak, and Isaac looked at him. "While I agree that you little demonstration of powers did give away our position, I find it quite improbable the chance of being spied right now." Isaac responded. Although he could be wrong, he found it highly improbable that someone already knew their location previous to their encounter. "Yet, it would be a good idea to talk in a place that allows more privacy."
Angela stood confused, but still pleased that almost all the Genesis were together. But where could the others be..? Maybe they hadn't seen the lightning bolt as she did, and were still wondering around the city... That wasn't good. Angela was about to propose that that should start looking for the other Genesis as soon as possible. But before Angela could speak, a rather muscular and tall man walked up. "Excuse me ladies and Gentlemen..." He started. Angela turned to see the voice, but immediately flinched back at his sudden appearance. She was defiantly surprised to see such an abnormally large figure. But as he went on to ask if they were any of the Genesis, she relaxed. Unlike Blake, this new figure seemed a bit more cheerful.
"Well this is turning out rather splendidly!" Said Circe, smiling from ear to ear. Circe took the first opportunity to introduce the newcomer to the group. Though when she came to Blake, she stopped because she had yet to know his name. When he announced it, Everyone took knowledge then continued to speak. Everyone must have suspected the newcomer to be a Genesis, because it was a little difficult to believe he wasn't. He was too huge to not be. Angela began to wonder if he was the Genesis of Earth. Earth was a strong element, and needed a strong source. And he it the bill perfectly. Well they found one more, or... technically he found them. Now that there is six down... how many were left to find? Dark and... a few others, but the names wouldn't come to her mind. Oh well, they were bound to show up soon.
Angela hadn't noticed it before, but a small feeling of discomfort began to grown somewhere inside of herself. She knew it wasn't something that she was feeling directly from Blake. He made her feel as if he'd suddenly flip his hand and kill everyone. her feelings toward him were somewhere between totally trusting him, and wanting to get away from him as soon as possible. No, this feeling she flt now made her feel like she was melting away. But was it really that hot outside? She took her gauntlet off and rubbed the sweat off her forehead. Strange.. it wasn't hot outside at all. In fact, it was quite cool. Angela sighed and slid her gauntlet back on, telling herself it might just be the Armor.
"Hey I know standing here and making a huge commotion about finding each other is cool and all, but I know a place we could talk that isn't so open to spy's. My dad has a blacksmiths place not too far from here" Said Jak. Though Angela's armor and sword were crafted by blacksmiths, she disliked the environment they worked in. It was way too hot, and you could sizzle your skin on anything you touch. Every time she walked in to ask of some repairs, it gave her a feeling that made her want to... melt? Hold on. That could have been it! The reason she was suddenly feeling hot could be because of Jak... he was of the Fire Genesis. They were 'natural enemies' Angela slightly frowned towards him, taking her gauntlet off once again to rub her forehead.
Oh god, now everyone seemed to like the idea of Jak's and wanted to go along with it. Angela huffed but kept quite about it. She didn't believe spies to be that much of a problem, after all they are usually weak and can go down quite easily. But again, they are fast, unlike Angela. Maybe going to the Blacksmiths was a good idea, unless someone had another place in town that wasn't so hot. Angela stood silently with a tired and bored expression, but she was still at half attention. She needed to make sure Blake wasn't going to murder everyone she just met. After all, guarding was one of her main jobs as a knight.
