Ami

Ami glanced over at the clock beeping loudly in her ear. Just what time was it? Rolling out of the bed, she almost broke her alarm clock when she went to hit the button to turn it off. Sighing loudly she had a killer headache this morning. Last night wasn't the best of nights for her. It wasn't exactly easy pretending to be some governors date for the night. Especially when he is almost pushing up daisies and you are only nineteen? The pure thought of the age gap between them gave her goose bumps. Ami looked at her brother who was sleeping soundly next to her. He slept like a brick wall last night, undeterred when she finally made it back home. Lucky for her though the old man wasn't looking to go farther then just standing next to him all night. She has yet to come across a job that would ask for anymore then that and she liked it that way. Frowning a little she decided to play a little trick on her twin brother. Crawling across the floor she peeked her head just above the bed. After determining if it was a good time to scare or not, she decided to act upon the moment. "Boo!" It was the best thing she could think of to say at the moment. Reaching her arms playfully out, she pushed him onto the floor. "How dare you sleep while your sister was out working. Shame on you." Giving him a smile to show she was only joking with him, Mimi turned around and walked over to the shower.

They all lived in and abandoned warehouse and had plenty of room for her and her twin not to share a room, but honestly she wanted to. She may be extremely close to the group members, but she always feels better being around her brother. After her short shower, Mimi went out by the kitchen area and decided to wait for the others to wake up. Her eyes caught a note that came from under the front door, which cut her off of her intended path. "What's this?" Picking up the red envelop she quickly tore it open to read what was inside. "Hmm another job huh? It looks like either Sebi or Devan would be good for this one. I mean who else is going to actually carry out an assassination?" She knew she definitely wasn't going to do this job so she would hand the note over to Sebi and Devan once they woke up. Mimi continued to the kitchen to make coffee for everyone. Grabbing her cup she took a seat on a bar stool and waited for the others.

Notorious for sleeping in, it was some time before the lanky form of Devan rolled out of bed. Undoubtedly he was one of the last of the GTM up. Unless there was something to do that day, Devan just about never set an alarm; though on occasion if a nearby room's alarm bled into his room, it would wake him, as the youth was a very light sleeper. Thankfully, this morning was not one of those mornings - as Devan was not a morning person and being awoken prematurely made him quite irritable.

Having slept in his clothes - black slacks and a white dress shirt - he drifted to the kitchen, hoping someone had prepared breakfast by now. But there was only the bright head of straight hair that was Mimi… with a cup of something in her hand. Devan shuffled closer like a wary animal, tentatively peering over the girl's shoulder to sniff at whatever was in her hand. Coffee. He wrinkled his nose, taking a seat one stool away from Ami and then placing his face flat on the counter. His arms moved forward, lying stretched out before him across the counter while each of his fingers waggled as if reaching for something just out of his grasp - but there was nothing. This was just Devan's way of more or less demanding something to eat. The boy could barely make toast for himself, such was his lack of culinary skill. Not that laziness wasn't a factor.

Kaze Odayakana

Kaze was always an early riser. There was always something about the nature in the morning and in the evening that he enjoyed. And of course, looking at his sleeping little family absolutely had nothing to do with it. He suppressed a small smile as he remembered what happened yesterday. Mimi had come home late last night, luckily for her, he had spared her something to eat before sending her to bed with her twins. They were really cute together! He chuckled and tightened his white apron, prepared to cook something for breakfast. Honestly, he was not the best cook of the world and he didn't enjoy cooking that much but he was the only one in the group that could cook something decent enough to eat. At least, his food didn't make anyone puke. He walked out of his room - a small room with boring gray wall and a frame on the nightstand contained a picture of his whole family together. They might or might not consider themselves a family but he considered them all his little brothers and sisters.

He met Mimi and Devan just as he came across the kitchen and he greeted warmly "Good morning, Mimi-chan, Devan-kun...how are you this fine morning?..." He stretched his arms and smiled at them "So, what do you want to eat this morning?...we have cereal with milk, grilled or sliced hard boiled eggs, pancakes and bacon with toast..." Smiling and picking up a cup of coffee, Kaze commented cheerfully "Ah, that's so sweet of you making us coffee like that...Thank you, Mimi-chan..." He took out a white envelop and put it on the table "Here's the rest of the payment...that old bald man sent us a thank-you note for a job well-done, too...great job, Mimi-chan..." He looked at the red envelop and read it carefully with a slight frown on his face "hmm...assassination?...another one so soon after our last one?...sorry, Devan-kun, you can't go on this one...the police have been suspecting you since they almost caught you in the last act...I'm going on this one...since it's fairly easy, too...just a lowly gang member..." He tapped his cheek and looked at his wrist watch "...hmm...I suppose I can let everyone sleep for a little bit more...you guys are probably exhausted..."

Aiyame

Awakened by the sunlight, Aiyame finally had awoken. Last night wasn't such a big night for her, she hadn't got any work recently, she has just been running around taking some money she plans to spend on a game tonight. "Meow~" she heard a soft cry for attention and turned her head to the right slightly, only to notice there was a tuxedo cat. His fur was pure black, except for the tip of his tail, paws, and chest. Aiyame simply stared at it till finally fully awakening from her slumber. She sat up and discovered she must have fallen on to the floor again while sleeping, but all the way by this old desk of hers? " Ah...that's right." She rubbed her eyes, trying to drain the sleep from them. She had stayed up most of the night playing her hand held console; a habit she is known for. As for the cat, she had found it fighting for it's life in an alley way, she had decided to rescue it and keep it here. Bringing strays in was another bad habit of hers, she was sure her family members would get agitated if they found she brought yet another animal home. It was not as if they stayed in their home, but they simply stayed outside for Aiyame to feed them. This cat was different though, she felt it needed to stay inside or it would get into more trouble again.

Aiyame stood up and got dressed into a simple black skirt and a long sleeved purple sweater. She went outside her room, holding the cat in her arms which seemed to be quite curious with it's new surroundings; but allowed her to hold it without struggle. She spotted some of the others in the kitchen and made her way over, smelling the bacon which seemed to lure her over. " Morning..." She said in a low tone, showing a small sign she is still a bit drowsy.
She sat by Ami and showed her the cat, she saw Ami as a older sister. " May I keep it inside? I promise to keep it well fed and make sure it doesn't get in anyone's hair. " She gave a innocent, almost pleading look. One of her special skills of convincing others. She forgot about the others and realised how rude she was to not say good morning to them " Ah, good morning. Kaze could you make me a plate of bacon please?"

Devan did not glance up upon hearing Kaze's voice. Only the group could get away with adding a -kun to his name without getting immediately punched or strangled. He only continued to wriggle his fingers needily. But the boy perked at the word 'assassination', sitting up suddenly and scowling a little at Kaze's chiding. Devan swiftly hopped off his stool and darted over, snatching the envelope out of Kaze's hands as quick as a striking snake. Devan didn't care about the police or the steadily increasing risk of getting caught. Killing was killing; the youth was practically addicted. If there was an assassination job, he needed it.

His gaze next flickered to Aiyame when she drowsily walked in. His dark eyes dropped to the furred form in her arms. No, no, no, no, no…. Damn it, Aiyame did this all the damn time. Devan visibly tensed; if he had had fur, he might have bristled. He locked eyes with the feline. In seconds the boy dropped the envelope, swiping a switchblade out of his pocket and aiming it defensively toward the cat, though his hand was shaking. A blend of terror and hatred poured into his features, and he backed up, his breath coming in hard, short spurts like he was on the verge of hyperventilating. It was difficult to tell if he was about to tackle the cat out of Aiyame's arms to kill it or just going to race off, but Devan was reluctant to butcher the creature in front of the others… Some of them didn't like him enough as it was. So the youth, knife in hand, turned to dash out of the kitchen and retreat to his room, where he pressed back against the wall there to try to calm his breath, shutting his eyes in concentration.

As long as he knew the cat was in the house it would be nearly impossible to get Devan out of his room - which meant the assassination job would probably go to Kaze after all.

Sebi

Oh, it was glorious. Every inch of the room was covered in money; coins, small bills, large ones, it was a dream come true! Sebi rolled around in the pile and started throwing it in the air. "We're rich Jiro, we're filthy rich!" The husky blinked and cocked its head to the side before opening its mouth to talk. "Sebi, don't let it go to your head, don't lose focus of why you're doing this." The redhead stared at the dog, awestruck. Had Jiro just talked to him like a human? Also, since when did he give Sebi advice? Everything went silent and then he heard someone yell right beside him. "Aah!" Before he could even recognize his surroundings his evil twin had already pushed him off the bed. "Noooo, it was just a dream!" The disappointment wasn't as bad as the pain that vibrated through his entire body when he hit the cold floor. By the time he recovered from his abrupt fall, Ami had already left the room. Oh, he was was going to get her back when she least expected it. For the time being, Sebi decided that he might as well fight the urge to go back to sleep and start his day. He ran through the regular motions: a hot shower, brushing his teeth, getting dressed, and trying to figure out what to do with his hair before ultimately deciding that it was better left alone.

After his morning ritual was complete Sebi made his way downstairs into the kitchen where he decided to be a rebel and sit on top of the counter directly in front of his sister. "'Morning, Devan, Chi, Kaze," he grinned and leaned in close to his sister's face to pinch her cheeks, "and of course I couldn't forget my dear Ami. Thank you so much for waking me up, I do love being ripped from my dreams and pushed onto the floor." Promptly after his morning greeting, Jiro trotted into the room with big, expectant blue eyes. "Jiro baby, kill!" The dog ran and jumped at Sebi, showering him in doggy kisses only after knocking him on the floor. He found Jiro a while back and trained him to be the perfect attack dog. His phrases were all backwards though to purposefully confuse people, Kill meant kisses, and Hugs and Kisses meant to rip someone apart. "That's my Jiji." Sebi sat up and moved to prop his elbows up on the counter with Jiro trying to mimic his pose. "We want pancakes!" Jiro barked once in agreement and the pair stared at Kaze with pleading eyes.

"Oh yeah, good job Mimi, you're still alive so job well-done." He flashed a quick smile in his sister's direction. The statement might've seemed a little passive, but everyone knew Sebi was very protective of his twin, he would mow down whoever he had to in order to keep her safe. "What's on the agenda for today? Bank robbery, manhunt, baby sitting a government officials unruly children?" His hazel eyes turned to look at the red envelope near Kaze and he got up to retrieve it. "Yoink! What do we have here?" He read over the the content thoroughly before setting it back down. "Ooh another assassination, I wanna go. I just taught Jiro a new attack phrase." The dog walked over to the other side of Kaze and nugged him with his nose, it was his own way of trying to persuade people.

Ami

Ami didn't even have that much time to herself before Devan had entered the room. She laughed at him for holding his hands out as if he was trying to grab something. "Sorry we all know cooking isn't really my thing." Another chuckle escaped her lips before hearing another familiar voice ring out to her. "Kaze!" She smiled widely at him as she did everyone in the morning. "Good morning to you too, oh and no problem with making the coffee. Besides your the one making everyone something to eat." Leaning on the counter more she placed her head on her hands. "Oh yeah the rest of the payment thanks. I'm just happy the job is done and over with." She couldn't stand the old man and his 'friends' from last night. Those people were way too fake for her to deal with all the time. "Oh yeah I figured one of the guys would take this job. Us girls have nothing for violence. Just ew." she shook as if she had a chill from the thought of having to kill someone. Just as she was going to say something again she saw Chi come into the room. "Good morning darling." She patted the seat next to her for the girl to sit down. She always wanted a younger sister, and she treated Chi just like one. "Aww the cat is so cute!" She reached her hand out to pet it softly under its chin. Mimi glanced up to see her brother in front of her. She half smiled when he pinched her cheeks. "Yeah I figured you would love the whole scaring you to get out of bed. Hi honey." She grinned at Jiro then heard Devan jump next to her.

"Hey Devan wait!" She stood up as well seeing as the boy had a knife now. Seeing the look in his eye, Mimi walked in front of Chi and the new cat. She wasn't going to let him harm the cat, not in front of her he wasn't at least. she jumped a little when he darted out of the room and into his own. Turning to Chi she shook her head. "Maybe its best if you leave the cat locked up whenever Devan is around okay? If you agree to this term you can keep it." She was a big softie and wanted to keep peace with everyone in the house. "I'll check on him." She was a little hesitant at first, but took a leap of faith and walked over to Devan's room. "Umm are you all right?" She slowly peeked her head in. "Chi is going to put the cat away, so you can some back out." She slowly walked towards him and slid her fingers around the knife before slowly sliding it out of his hands. "There all better right?" she gave him a smile trying to hide the fact she was about to have a stroke trying to take the weapon away from him. Mimi trotted out of the room and placed the knife back in its proper place. "Eek I hate knives!"

Aiyame

Aiyame was happy to see that Ami had liked the cat she had brought, the cat had purred by the simple touch of Ami's hand. She noticed Devan and his reaction to the cat, she knew well he wasn't a fan of cats; she just enjoyed picking on him. Although it did seem a bit harsh of her, considering his reaction was not of what she expected. Ami had protected the poor cat, just in case he decided to attack the poor thing. She snickered a bit, but felt a bit warm from Ami's protection even if it wasn't completely directed at her. When Devan ran towards his room, Chi felt a bit of satisfaction; not that should be the right feeling for this. When Ami ran after him, she looked over at the joyful twin Sebi. " Morning." she said bluntly before going to the bathroom and setting the cat there, hoping it knew who to use a toilet and not the floor for it's "business". Heading back she felt some one was missing, ( Referring to Male 4)sleeping in perhaps? Once returning to her seat she saw Ami returning as well, she gave a half hearted apology for the act incident before returning her attention to the others. " I was planning on heading out to the park today to enjoy some fresh air and perhaps pick pocketing some money. The new 2d fighting game, Cloud Nine, is coming out. I want to get some money for it and grab it tonight on Midnight when it releases, so I need some time to waste. Maybe we should all head out to the park to relax...? The ice cream man will be there I think." Aiyame wasn't concerned too much on her identity, she made sure to conceal it when out on duty; even then it's not as if the victim sees her.

She looked at the others, feeling a bit envious of them. Their skills? No, their height. She always felt like a child from this point of view of hers, the only time she feels a bit superior is when they sit down. Aiyamae stretched her arms out, waiting for the others opinion. It didn't matter if they were to decide to disagree, she just didn't want to spend the day alone.

He jumped when Ami cautiously walked into his room, taking a few reflexive steps back. He offered her no answer to her question, his dark eyes only staring intently; distrust and a bit of the fear from before still churned in them, and his face was deadly serious. His gaze flitted to the door at the mention of the cat. But putting the cat 'away' was not enough of a solution for Devan to leave his room - the youth would literally hole up in his room until the cat was removed from the house… or at least, until he was told the cat had been removed from the house.

He backed up some more as Ami stepped forward. Devan was as tense as a coiled spring half the time, even amongst the GTM. It sometimes made him nervous for his personal bubble to be intruded upon, not unlike a skittish animal whose instinctive thought is that its going to be harmed if anything else gets too close. He remained tense, his hand gripping the switchblade so hard his knuckles were white, as Ami carefully maneuvered her fingers through his to grasp the knife. But this only made Devan grip it tighter. It was nearly impossible to take a weapon from Devan if he didn't want it taken, especially if it was his weapon. He would have to be knocked unconscious before the switchblade could be removed from his person.

So Devan did not relinquish the knife, but continued to clutch it like it was his very soul, and, stubbornly, he remained in his room. Though his breathing had calmed, Devan would continue to hole up in his room until assured the cat had been kicked out.

A B E L

Abel flung open the front door and sauntered inside, not making any effort to quiet the wooden thing from slamming against its own frame. A trail of smoke chugged from behind him as he entered without any pretenses or explanations. "Honey, I'm home!" he called out to no one in particular, trudging over to his room to peel off his sweaty shirt and yank on a new one. He realized as he was tugging off the first shirt that he still had the nasty cancer stick smokin' in his mouth and readily crushed it on the sole of his boot. "'Hope nobody notices I forgot to put it out 'fore I came inside..." he muttered. Technically, he was supposed to be quitting (it cost way too much money) but he didn't think anyone actually expected it out of him. It's not like he bought the things, anyway. Well, not usually. Today he was offered it by a chick he'd been talking to. How the hell is he supposed to say, "No, thanks." when an addiction is staring him in the face for free? He made a distinct "tch" sound as he tucked the half smoked cigarette into his wallet where he'd resume smoking it later. He was a frugal guy, after all.

He hadn't slept a wink last night, though he tried. It had been one of his only free nights and he'd set a full seven hours aside for him to catch some Z's but, of course, insomnia doesn't let up just 'cause you tell it to, so after a good two and a half hours of laying awake as everyone else in the house slept like lambs, he'd hopped out of bed and gone exploring. Strolling the streets had lead to coming across a mugging had lead to beating some chumps near death had lead to chatting with the little lady he'd helped had lead to going back to her place and chilling with her room mates and playing beer pong under the pretense that he was 21. It'd been a pretty social day for him, to say the least. His head was just killing him, though. No hang over could push aside his appetite, however, as his stomach growled loudly in complaint. "Yeah, yeah." he mumbled, rubbing his abdomen lazily as he headed to the bathroom to wash his face. He opened the door mid-yawn, stretching his back so that his shoulder blades nearly touc-

"Meow~"

He stopped his lackadaisical warm up to curiously peer at the small furry creature that sat on the toilet seat. He raised his eyebrows and shrugged before turning on the water and spritzing his face. He gazed in the mirror only to confirm that he, indeed, looked like shit. Bags lay heavy under his eyes. He sighed and made his way to the kitchen where he heard the rest of 'em. "Oi, you guys know there's a cat in the loo?" he asked chirpily as he entered, a cheap imitation of a greeting. He ran a calloused hand through his black mane before hopping up on the counter next to Kaze. "Please tell me there's some food left for me." he added, less perkily. There was something about the desperation in his voice that carried the sincerety he felt in that. His stomach growled again.

Kaze Odayakana

Kaze's smile widened a little bit as he heard a familiar footsteps "...good morning to you, too, Chi-chan..." He said without turning his head, too busy preparing breakfast to take notice what Chi was holding in her hand. He vaguely heard that she was asking to keep something inside the house but once again, cooking distracted him from hearing anything more than that. He watched the pan, carefully kept the bacon from burning. He nodded his head in approval and put them on a plate for Chi. He turned his head and sat cheerfully "okay, here you go, Chi..." He barely caught sight of a black kitty as Devan bolted out of the room, quickly followed by Mimi. Confused by the whole thing, Kaze looked around, trying to find the cause of it. As he looked down and spotted a fuzzy ball of fur in Chi's hand, he frowned and shook his head, clearly disapproved. "...sorry, Chi-chan...you can't keep it...you know how Devan-kun will react with the thing...maybe it's best if you just send it to a vet and tell them to help you find a family for it..."

He put the plate in front of her and pat her head, trying his best to ignore the puppy-look on her face. Gosh, she was getting better at it. He winced when the furball jumped out and ran away to who-know-where. He just hoped it wouldn't be stupid enough to go to Devan's room. He would surely butcher the poor thing.

"Morning, Devan, Chi, Kaze,"

Kaze looked up and sighed in relief as he found a perfect distraction. "Hello, Sebi-kun...what do you want for breakfast?" he asked in a kind voice and chuckled as Sebi's dog - Jiji began to attack him with hugs and kisses. He was quite fond of the pup, too considered that it had helped them a lot with some missions...plus, it was kinda cute.

"We want pancakes!"

Sebi said finally and Kaze nodded his head "alright...coming right up!" He flipped the pancakes and sniffed. Well, they were coming up quite nicely. Without turning to face Sebi, Kaze spoke "...if you want to go then...sure you can...though you might want to say something to Devan-kun first...seems like he wants to go on this mission..." He put a plate in front of Sebi and explained "your pancakes, Sebi-kun..."

"I was planning on heading out to the park today to enjoy some fresh air and perhaps pick pocketing some money. The new 2d fighting game, Cloud Nine, is coming out. I want to get some money for it and grab it tonight on Midnight when it releases, so I need some time to waste. Maybe we should all head out to the park to relax...? The ice cream man will be there I think."

Chi spoke up and Kaze turned his head to face her "...wait a minute, Chi-chan...let me check something..." He took out a notebook from his pocket and flipped some pages before musing, mostly to himself "...I remember I have a mission today or something...hmm...where is it? ah-ha...I knew it!..." He closed the notebook and nodded "alright...we're free until 7:00pm...I have a mission tonight...negotiation...and...err...Abel-kun has to disguise as a guard for some filthy rich man...so if you and the others want to, we can definitely visit the park...until 7:00pm..." He ran a hand through his hair and asked again as he mentally counted the people in the kitchen "speaking of Abel-kun, where is he anyway? He didn't sneak out last night, did he?"

"Oi, you guys know there's a cat in the loo?"

A loud voice asked and Kaze looked up from the stove to see Abel walking to the group and sat down "speaking of the devils..." Kaze grumbled but greeted him nonetheless "Good morning, Abel-kun...had fun sneaking out last night?" He scowled gently and spoke to Chi "and Chi...please come and rescue the cat before it gets killed by Devan-kun...I don't want to clean a corpse this early in the morning..." Putting a plate of pancakes in front of Abel as the boy whined about food, Kaze continued "you should have at least told me you wanted to go out..." Finished making breakfasts for his family, Kaze sat down on a nearby chair and wiped off a sweat that was rolling from his eyebrows. He took off the white apron and put it on the counter. Finally decided to eat something as well, Kaze poured himself a cup of coffee and some toasts. Taking a bite, Kaze chewed carefully and swallowed. Looking at his wrist watch, Kaze mused "...why haven't Mimi-chan and Devan-kun come down yet?...Sorry guys, I have to go and check them...come back right away..."

As he walked to Devan's room, he met with a sight. Devan seemed to fall into his shocked state...again. Kaze sighed. Well, this time it was definitely Chi's fault. She should have known better than to take a cat into the house. He walked to the boy and embraced him, ignored the sharp knife as it cut his skin and made him bleed. He mouthed to Mimi "...Go...I'll take care of him..."

He turned and faced Devan with a gentle expression. He patted the frightened boy's back and circled it "...it's alright, Devan-kun...the cat won't harm you anymore...I'll make sure of it...shh...don't be frighten, okay? I'm here for you..." He saw the boy's tight grip on his knife and sighed heavily. Well, if he gripped it this tight, Kaze wouldn't be able to pull it out. Might as well calm the boy down before taking it away. He whispered gently again "...shh...I'm here for you, Devan-kun...". It was a good thing that he could calm his family down...otherwise, it might turn out to be a real disaster. Holding Devan's head closed, Kaze began to hum his favourite song.

"...Come stop your crying
It will be all right
Just take my hand
Hold it tight

I will protect you
from all around you
I will be here
Don't you cry

For one so small,
you seem so strong
My arms will hold you,
keep you safe and warm
This bond between us
Can't be broken
I will be here
Don't you cry..."

Devan glanced up, still skittish, at Kaze's entrance. Before he barely had time to move further backward, the other boy had moved to hug him. Devan bristled even more, tension rippling through his lanky frame. He was about to pull away, possibly even shove Kaze, but a glimpse of red caught his eye, and he froze. Kaze had brushed across his knife and now had a small, bleeding cut. Devan's dark eyes fixated on the wound, not blinking; he squirmed in Kaze's hold, his breathing picking up again. He wanted so badly to cut deeper until his knife and hands were soaked with red, but he wouldn't… This was Kaze. He couldn't do that to Kaze. But the other boy was determined to soothe him, rubbing his back in circles like someone might to calm a victim of great grief. It irked Devan, but he focused on the blood seeping out of Kaze's cut.

The youth's squirming steadily subsided, his breathing settled, and he even began to relax a little. Unbeknownst to Kaze, his gentle embrace and soft humming was doing nothing to calm Devan down - but watching his wound bleed was. Devan's gaze was locked on the red substance as it accumulated around the cut. It was everything he had not to rip Kaze open for more, but on the other hand just watching that small wound bleed was enough to calm him somewhat.

Ami

Ami wasn't very surprised at the apology she got from Chi. She didn't think the girl was too fond of Devan and so she never asked Chi about it. When Kaze came in the room she just let him take over the situation and let him do whatever he came to do. Gliding back to the room she gave Chi a faint smile. "Sorry I really wish we could keep the cat, but Kaze said we should get rid of it, so we should. Mimi had a thought to tell the girl to just hide the cat away from Devan and the others so she could keep it, but if Devan were to see there would probably be no holding him back from killing it. It was a little hard dealing with Devan at times, but she knew if they all gave him time hopefully he would come around to warming up to everyone. It makes a person wonder about what happened to him in his past though. Shrugging the thought off she glanced over to see Abel was finally up and moving. "I can only imagine the night you had mister." She poked Abel in the back of his head with a slight laugh before returning to her now semi-cold cup of coffee. "I thought I got back late last night, but you came in even later after me." She didn't really agree with Abel staying out that late doing only God knows what. She had a thought, but never wanted to pry too deep into his business.

Walking around to her brother she poked him on his forehead enough to push him back a little. "And you could have waited for your adorable twin sister to come back too." It sounded like she was being serious but everyone who knows her she was only joking. "Ugh guys I'm bored!" She tossed her hands in the air almost spilling her coffee everywhere then laughed once again. "We should do something out of the normal." Placing her now empty cup in the sink she stood in front of Abel and her brother with her arms crossed. "I know let's go shopping!" She missed the conversation about the park earlier, so she didn't know there were already plans in motion. Most would say she wasn't fit for the line of work she was in, but she liked being a contradiction to it all. "Well you guys probably don't want to go shopping." Now she had to think of something new. "Ah, I don't know so you guys decide. All I know is that me and Chi are bored." She didn't know if Chi was really bored she was just trying to persuade everyone to get out of the house. She glided over to Chi and placed an arm around her waiting for someone to come up with something good to do. "You know Chi we should go get our nails done." No matter what Mimi would always be a girly-girl.

Aiyame

Chi ate her bacon silently, feeling a bit disappointed about the fact she would not be able to keep the cat after all. She was never fond of Devon, it was hard to explain the reason as to why. She simply just was not fond of the boy, perhaps it was his personality that bothered her? It was quite difficult to even explain it to herself, perhaps she was just being judgmental? After she finished her bacon she looked about and discovered Abel had entered, complaining about the lovely cat of hers. It would seem she would have to get rid of it after all...however, she could be quite stubborn and wasn't about to let the poor thing run around again and possibly get hurt. Although she loved every cat or animal she found, she really like this one. Chi simply sighed, but perked up a bit when Kaze had mentioned that everyone would be available till 7:00PM.

"I know let's go shopping!"

She looked over at Ami, not surprised at the suggestion, just a little disappointed. Before she could say anything Ami spoke up again "Well you guys probably don't want to go shopping."
She was a little thankful, although Chi had her girly moments; she wasn't the most girly of them all. However she tried to endure some of Ami's shopping trips to keep her happy, after all they were the only two girls here; they needed some girl bonding. Suddenly a wave of relief hit her, Mimi had made her way over to her and wrapped her arm around her. The mention of her nails getting done didn't bother her too much, she hadn't experienced such a thing. " Well earlier I suggested taking a trip by the park, they have some close by shops and some other neat things...get some fresh air..." she felt comforted by Ami's presence. Chi would often feel grateful that there was another girl in this group of men, especially this type of girl. It reminded her of Misaki, though often those memories weren't always the most pleasant.
" By the way...Abel what were out doing last night...?" She stared at him suspiciously.

Abel grinned sheepishly when Kaze mentioned "speaking of the devils..." which could only mean that he'd been a topic not long ago. It was hard to tell if his smile was apologetic or smug, but it no one had enough time to analyze it as it transformed quickly to a devilish smirk as soon as it was brought up that he'd snuck out that night. He shrugged and avoided eye contact with that coy little "u" shape on his jaw, and might have gave a decent response if Kaze hadn't set a plate of pancakes in front of him. His entire face lit up like a bright, sunny sky. He gave the older male a sincerely grateful look, sure to catch his eyes with his own icy blue orbs (though he didn't actually voice his thanks) before digging in like a savage animal. He practically shoveled the delicious, syrupy goodness into his mouth like he hadn't eaten for days upon days upon days. Man, these hit the spot.

"you should have at least told me you wanted to go out..." the other had said as he took a seat and started to eat himself. "Imrwewwyshorry" he muttered, a guttural sound from deep in his chest, in between a bite. It was a cheap knock off of "I'm really sorry" but he didn't bother correcting himself, too caught up in the food. He vaguely understood that Kaze was going off to Mimi and Devan who, for some reason, weren't present at the table. He had finished scarfing down the food just as Ami approached. He wiped his face and cracked his neck, slouching in his seat obscenely. "I can only imagine the night you had mister." Ami had said chirpily, poking him in the back of his head. He smiled- a warm, genuine one. Mimi always seemed to bring out the better side to Abel, taming the beast or so to speak. He, for the second time, merely shrugged in response. "I thought I got back late last night, but you came in even later after me."

"Oh?" he asked, wondering why in the world little innocent Ami would have been running around after dark. "Right! You were the ~date~ to that old fart." he said, suggestively wagging his eyebrows on the word date. "The guy looked like a fuckin' mummy!" he barked, sharp laughter following. "I don't envy you." She went on to pester her brother some more and then, of course, talk of shopping and boredom and nails were hovering in the air. He internally groaned at the thought, but merely rolled his eyes in real life. "Well you guys probably don't want to go shopping." she added sometime later, and he was sure to exaggeratedly nod his head in agreement. "Hit the nail on the head there."

Chi, who was somehow usually the most sensible out of them all despite her baby face, finally spoke up. She seemed to be in a pretty foul mood, and he guessed it had something to do with the cat and - it finally clicked. Devan must have been having a little fit. It didn't surprise him. He pushed the realization aside to listen to the comedically short girl. " Well earlier I suggested taking a trip by the park, they have some close by shops and some other neat things...get some fresh air..." 'Don't we have jobs to do or somethin'?' he thought, as he wasn't around to hear that he had work as a "guard" later in the evening. His mental ranting was cut short.

" By the way...Abel what were out doing last night...?" the thing asked suspiciously. Well, he was finally put on the spot. He'd managed to avoid the question so far, but now there didn't seem to be a way around it. He rubbed at the back of his neck, knowing that he couldn't lie about it, but not wanting to confess. "Well, you see... I... eh... ah..." he sputtered, waving his hands around dramatically. He had a way of becoming overly animated when he was trying to come up with an excuse. "I couldn't sleep..." Well, that was true. "And everyone else in the house were snoozin' it up. It was like a festival of fiestas or somethin' I'm tellin' you!" he explained, somehow trying to put the blame on everybody else. He was basically flailing by now. "So, I left the house and...! And...!" Upon the realization that he really wasn't getting anywhere with this, he sighed and deflated, dropping his arms to his side and laying his head on the table. "I was out drinkin'." he admitted finally. "I mean, I didn't go out lookin' to drink. Some guys were muggin' this girl and I, of course, stopped them. Then we were talking and, I don't know, it just kind of happened, alright? I won't stay out so late from now on." he said, drained. He wasn't sure if that last part would be held out, but he'd try for at least a month or two.

"In any case, what do we got planned for today, huh?"
he asked, changing the subject in hopes of not getting scolded.
