Image✖ Physical Description/Clothing Preference ✖:

Body type|| Hakon is often questioned and the subject of concern when it comes to his body type. He is thin, built more like a dancer with no visible muscle. However, he is rather lanky and often times thought to not be eating enough because he is so thin. Otherwise he stands at an average five foot nine inches and weighs about 121 lbs.

Skin Tone|| Hakon is rather even toned in skin color, leaning on to the pale side during the beginning of the year due to it being cold and him refusing to go outside.

Hair|| Unlike most guys his age, he actually keeps his hair quite long. Normally reaching below the waistline, naturally his hair color is a platinum blond color, but often dyes it a leaf green or a lighter shade of green.

Eye Color|| His eyes are a very vibrant shade of green, he says that sometimes he catches them glowing. Wither this is real or not isn't known, but more than likely not.

Clothing Attire|| Hakon is a very odd individual when it comes to clothing. Ranging from clothing that look more at home on a dancer to clothing that actually looks normal from time to time, his style often stays somewhere between feminine to being acceptable for both genders. leading to more confusion to his actual, physical gender. Fur is also common within his clothing, ranging from a small fur band on his arm or fur scarf to a full on pelt skirt that looks like it is made of the various animals. Usually this is wore more for comfort rather than a styistic choice as he will often run his hands through it to calm himself. Also, he has a preference for wearing collars and cuffs of various styles and colors. All of them very expensive upon closer inspection as any with gem studs are actual real gemstones and high quality leather.

✖ Birthmark/Piercing/Tattoo/Scar/Noticeable Features ✖:
Most of his skin is relatively unmarred except for an odd bite mark on his arm that seems to have been a dog bite and under the his cuffs two scars from a suicide attempt long ago. These wrist scars are almost never seen unless he truly trusts the person he's showing them too. Aside from that, Hakon tends to keep his nails long and filed to tips, looking more like claws. His teeth are also a source of surprise as his normal canines look more like that of an animal. Much longer than they have any business being. This is not natural, these are actually dental implants that are replacements from an accident that involved him getting blindsided by a soccer ball and loosing all four of his canine teeth.

✖ Gift ✖: Herbalism. Hakon is very well versed in the use of plants, herbs and other natural items for mostly medicinal use. Mostly for he does other things with said natural items. He knows how to treat many aliments with the plant life around him, often using what he can find. On the opposite side of this, he also knows how to poison those around him with the same plants and animal parts without leaving a trace. Due to this occupation, he often smells like either the outdoors or incense. In addition to healing, he is also able to make incense to induce a certain feel, or even match a memory of someone to calm them or to terrify them.

✖ Hobbies/Skills ✖:
  • Baking- Although it is a rare occurrence to watch him eat, he does love the art of baked goods and is relatively alright in the craft. Cakes, breads, cookies, muffins, anything that requires an oven and bread like objects, he can possibly make it.
  • Skull painting - This one is probably make many many people all kinds of uncomfortable. Although he is not very good at painting, he does have a love of making dead things beautiful. Normally he goes out into the local forest and finds the skulls of dead animals.
  • Eating - Every once in a while, Hakon will eat in front of people. And when he does, he will eat like a demon starved of souls. For such a small thing, he will eat everything put in front of him most of the time. The reserved and nervous will give way to a kid who will fight to the teeth for a piece of sushi.
  • Crafting teas and incense - As per his gift, he does enjoy the long hours in a room filled with natural scents of the various plants, herbs and items he's collected and ground into whatever he needs or wants. The joy in crafting a successful new tea calms him from the outside stresses that plague him.
  • Belly dancing - although Hakon wouldn't call himself a dancer, he is very good at tribal style belly dancing and often does dance in this way to relive stress or just dance for no reason at all.
  • Animal based mannerisms - This habit is possibly the strangest thing about him, that his mannerism can also be either seen in cats or lions. Ranging from purring and nuzzling up against someone he sees at as friend or loved on to hissing, clawing and even biting someone he doesn't enjoy being around. His walking all fours with no problem and even running on all fours with ease like he's been doing it all his life and even becoming territorial when it comes to the places he often resides in (his room).
  • Ambidextrous - as a child, hakon had his dominant hand broken (right) and had to learn with his non-dominant hand. Has a result he knows how to write and handle most things with both hands with ease and often does to save time.
✖ Personality ✖:
On first meeting, Hakon can range from being standoffish, to very friendly depending on the environment. Meeting a person, one on one, he often circles around a person and tests their boundaries on being touched and such. By default, Hakon can be rather distant, often times swimming in his own thoughts and ignoring the world around him until his attention is given or taken by something and rather shy. Mornings can leave a harsh impression for someone for he is rather crabby and blunt towards people because he would rather still be sleeping than dealing with people at the time.

A friendly Hakon is a rather lively one. Hospitable and very touchy; he often makes himself known through touch and small noises as his English is somewhat poor and his accent rather heavy. He likes to be close to the people he calls friends and loved ones, often leaning or 'perching' (resting his head on the 'perch's' head and hands on their shoulders) and making purring noises around them. He is there for them and will often defend them with the fierceness of a lioness and mauling wit...or just a straight up mauling.

An unfriendly Hakon is the near opposite. Cold, sarcastic, and as blunt as being beaten over the head with a sledge hammer. An unfriendly Hakon can and will ruin your day with a single burn. He makes it very clear that he doesn't like. A loud hiss, a lunge with his 'claws', straight up biting them and forcing them to the ground to be mauled; Anyone Hakon sees as someone unworthy of his time will know very quickly to either leave or be harmed in someway.

On his own, Hakon is very odd. Him singing to himself is also not unheard of as that is how he learned some of his English and will insert lyrics into a conversation as to get across what he is trying to say with mixed results. He also seems wise beyond his years at times, musing about various instances on life and other wonders; though he keeps this hidden from most others unless he happens to get himself high off his own work by accident. There are times however, that he does dive deep into a dark depression and self doubt. Often locking himself in his room and actually still has little self worth in himself but doesn't often show it outright. He also is worshiper of the god Dionysus, which often influences some of his behavior as well, but doesn't talk about it much....until a revel comes up and then all bets are off in terms of him being sane and/or sober.

    • He poisoned his mother and father with foxglove to escape them, this was an accident at the time but he still has nightmares about this as he believes it is his fault.
    • There are instances where he does snap and go emotionally cold, usually in very stressful times.
    • His surname is actually supposed to be Falkenrath due to being recently officially adopted just half a year ago, although had been with the family since he was 13; he still has yet to change his surname. His adoptive family has been a source of headache due to the family name being well known in higher social circles and causing people to try and cling to him for his new found wealth. As such, he goes by his birth name more times than not and would rather not be called out on it.

☢Bio ☢:
As happy and somewhat carefree as Hakon seems to be now, his childhood is something he would rather erase from his memory.

Hakon Astapora Sigrun was the result of an affair between his mother and a client of hers. The resulting pregnancy and birth caused his father to be rather distant and cold to the little one. Little Hakon was aware that he wasn't wanted as his mother never said a kind word about him and his father often putting him outside like an outdoor pet and leaving him out there for day at a time once he was around the age of 5. This started his path toward him turning to plant life for what ever medicine he needed and food. Also, he was so isolated from other children, he picked up many habits from the cats in his neighborhood learning more about family from them than in his own house.

Around the age of 9, he had already had a proficient knowledge of the local plant life from sneaking off to the local plant nursery and learned their uses to heal. But the wound in his heart had only started to fester. His mother had already mentally checked out and his father was starting to beat him. Everyday the abuse got worse and worse until he couldn't take it anymore. He had learned that the foxglove in his front yard was very sickening when eaten and in an attempt to get them to leave them along he tore pieces of the flower and stems in their coffee. That was the last time he saw them alive. They died from the poison of the flower. A memory still burned into his mind to this day

He was in the foster care system until he was 13, often being bullied for looked so much like and acting like a girl. This constant harassment and the guilt of his parent's deaths did result in one unsuccessful suicide attempt that he still has the scars he hides them due to the shame he feels from them. He was taken in at the age of 13 by the Falkenrath family; a very wealthy and well known family in the Germanic country and officially adopted only six months ago. During this time, he had started to worship the god Dionysus and gained more confidence in himself...while also becoming more and more unhinged at times and becoming more in touch with his more primal self. This did lead to some difficulty once he started to socialize in the town he started to live in, even earning the nickname of "The meaned", the adoption went through finally after 4 years and long arguments of wither Hakon was normal enough to be adopted. The paperwork was only just getting finished as the letter and card came in the mail during a stint of working on new healing ointments at the time. Having never been outside Europe, he flung himself at the chance at travel outside the continent and hopefully leave the reputation he had of being more beast that human...alt

☢Hospital Mental Evaluation ☢:
Hakon Astapora Sigrun is a rather odd case. While his (of the time of this test, he identified as male) animalistic mannerisms and seemingly scatterbrained train of thought define him as abnormal but harmless at the very least. There are some signs that are cause for concern. The first is his high aggression towards those he has a dislike for. In extreme cases he has mauled people causing serious injury to those he "mauls". Another is his seasonal bouts of insanity. Every season he seems to go into a sort of frenzy that he says only can be sated with strong drink and loud music. These nights are sources of headaches for those in rooms around him and often times results in a very crabby and aggressive Hakon. The third is is of major concern. He calls them emotional shutdowns, but these are times were he lock himself in his room and proceeds to rip apart anything in his room with a rage that seems to have long been suppressed since he was small. These are a rather rare occurrence and seem to have some sort of trigger. Other than these concerns and his strange way of being, he is able to be let out into general society as a part of acclimating to being around people.

☢ Other ☢: Most of the time, he can be seen with This little guy while wandering around during stressful times.

So begins...

A computer monitor sits at the head of the table,
the screen black other than a thin white line
running horizontally across it. The line shakes
when the robotic voice sounds, a visual
representation of the 'voice'.

"Greetings, students. I am SW2K74, and I am your headmaster.
I know what you all must be thinking, how is a computer going to teach us anything?
I also know there's a few of you thinking about the amount of things you can
get away with, not having to worry about the headmaster rounding the corner.
For the latter, I should warn you there's cameras in nearly every room. Sorry kids.
As for the other, you shall find that out soon enough.
For now, I leave you with a list, and a banquet prepared by the finest chefs I could find.
Sleep well tonight little birds, for tonight is just the beginning.

The white line fades and up appears the list.

Tristen has always hated boats, Louella loves them. Coordinating vacations in the past had always been made difficult by this; take the jet for Tristen, or the yacht for Lou? This time they weren't given a choice, they couldn't fly to the islet, it was barely large enough to house the Gifted Mansion (not really, but it definitely didn't have a landing strip). Tristen's driver drove them from France to Pireas, and then they hopped on a boat using the two tickets that had been included in their invitation to the Academy. Tris hadn't been overly fond of the idea of going, he was well aware he was better than everyone else, he didn't know why going to some school in the middle of the Aegean Sea was going to make any difference. Lou, on the other hand, was thrilled at the prospect of getting away from the boarding school they'd been thus far attending, and as she wasn't permitted to go unless Tristen did as well... Well, that happened. So the six-hour boat ride was admittedly less than pleasant for him.

Their bags were taken at the door, presumably as everyone elses were, and brought up to their rooms. They were required to show their cards, in which Lou held up their joint card, The Lovers, and Tris made a comment in French under his breath about how they better not have to share a room. They were each given their respective keys then, and led off to another room. Odd as it was, they weren't permitted to go up to their dorms yet, and were instead instructed to take a seat at the long table in the dining hall and await further instructions. They both noticed the computer screen rather quickly, but when they turned around to ask about it, the maid was gone.

They sat across from each other, not too far from the head of the table, as per the name cards on their plates request. There were twelve chairs in all, not including the space the monitor was occupying at the head. Tristen silently examines everyone who walks through the door, all while maintaining a boring conversation with an excited Louella to mask the fact he was judging everyone. Though he was finally freed from her grasp when a green-haired girl took the seat next to his sister, and she began shyly introducing herself to the green.

Come time everyone had shuffled in and taken their seats, the lights dimmed and the voice spoke, and finally list showed up on the screen and the lights went back to full brightness in the room, Tristen is fairly positive he made a mistake in letting his sister convince him into coming here. Lou turned to her new green haired friend excitedly, while Tris let his gaze roam to the guy next to him. "Rook, I presume?"

Just in time for the waiters to come bustling in, carrying their feast.

[OOC: Just to make things easier, let's assume these name cards has all 'pairings' sitting next to each other, ^^.]

If the green had known that he had to take a boat to this gods forsaken mansion, he would have become a hermit for the rest of his like. Yes. He. Or at least that was what he was for today. Hakon felt male for the day, but perfectly fine with the effeminate attire he was wearing. From the northern cost of Germany to a little islet in the middle of the Aegean sea cause a bit of an issue. The train ride from Gützkow to Athens, Greece was fine and all. In fact he enjoyed having a private cabin to himself and mostly lounged through the trek. It was the six hour boat ride to Petalida that made him want to die. The green was never good with boats, preferring to have both feet or hands and feet planted on solid ground. The disconnect between what he was seeing and feeling made him feel like he wanted to keel over the side of the boat the entire six hours. Needless to say that the green was never getting on a boat again so long as he could help it.

Once on land, and taking a bit of time to get reaquited with his limbs against solid ground, he showed his card tot he person taking his bags and was given the key to his room. The green found it odd that he wasn't allow to go to their rooms yet, in all honestly he was quite miffed about it for he wanted to sleep of the rest of the sea sickness he was still feeling; but the words 'dinning hall' struck a cord with the male as the thought of food being stuffed into his face made him all too happy to do as they said. However, he did note in the back of his mind how sad for him to be so easily manipulated by food of any kind after not eating for a couple hours. Something he had to work on.

Once settled into his seat, the green started to fiddle with the card that had sat on the plate denoting his place at the table. His claws making slight scratching noises on the textured paper. It read his full name, but most of the time he only gave out what ever name he felt like using for the time being and frankly it made it less confusing for anyone he would happen to get close to.

If he got close to anyone.

He chirped as he noticed the lavender haired girl attempting to get his attention and introduce herself. Hakon didn't say much, only tilting his head to the side in confusion and leaning close to her as if to sniff her before the computerized voice and dimming lights caught his attention again with a similar chirp and purring noise. Once the lights were back on, and the relief of whoever made the list to give his preferred name he turned back to the lavender girl who was now even more excited. He could almost feel it radiated off of her. "*Es ist a pleasure to meet you *Einhorn. Really! I am not zat exciting! Uh...Zat is iv it ist me zat you are excited about." he said, shyly. He gave her a nervous smile and clasped his hands together, showing the fangs that had only been put in a month ago, but looked as natural as if they had grown with him. Before he could even say anything further upon realizing that he didn't call her by name, but by imminent mental association the smell of food moved his head as the feast was arriving. The lioness was hungry from his travels and a very loud, very audible mix of a low growl and purring could be heard from the green as he watched the food being set down. Shifting his collar in impatience, a green one with blue sapphire studs and black ring in the front; a similar design to the cuffs on his wrists aside from them not having the ring on them, he tapped his two index fingers together as we watched them handle the food. A way to a lion's trust was his stomach at this moment, and his was going to make it evident was his trust was very much earned at this point.
*Es ist - 'It is'
*Einhorn - Unicorn lit. "one horn"

Petalida, Greek Islet

Standing in front of the door to the mansion, with a blue case hanging on a strap from his shoulder and a black suitcase sitting directly to his right, Nathan Alshane found he had to convince himself that yes, this wasn't a bizarre dream.

The flight from America to Greece had been dreadfully long and unusually turbulent, and he had been more than happy to step the plane. The boat ride from there to Petalida wasn't exactly fun, either, but he had enough battery life on his 3DS to survive the trip. And now, under a fading blue evening sky, here he was, standing in front of the "Gifted Academy"...

Still, the letter they sent me was so strange... Reaching into his pocket, Nathan took something out and held it up in front of the door, as if to obscure it from his vision. It was a card, depicting two wolves staring upward at the moon, which was making an unpleasant expression. Behind them, a scorpion crawled out of a puddle of water. At the top was marked "XVIII", and at the bottom, "THE MOON."

This strange card had been mailed to him, along with the letter saying he was invited here. Without really understanding anything, Nathan decided on a whim to attend this Academy, thinking he'd be better off here than in his hometown. Of course, anything's better than having to deal with...

"Is something wrong the matter, sir?"

With a startled yelp, Nathan jumped backwards before finding a butler standing there, looking at him with a slightly amused expression. "Huh? Oh...no, just, uh...s-spaced out for a bit," he quickly replied, moving to put his card back into his pocket.

The butler raised a hand in a "halt" gesture. "Don't put that away just yet, sir. If you would be so kind to show it to me first?" A bit more confused, Nathan held it out for the butler to see. "Ah, the Moon. Then, you must be...Mr. Nathan Alshane. Am I correct?"

"...yeah, it's me," Nathan replied. For some reason, it felt hard to answer any questions properly without stuttering. Man, this is not off to a good start... "Um...so what am I supposed to do?"

The butler raised his all-controlling hand again, and a maid walked over to meet them, looking as though she'd rather do something else. "She will escort you to the dining hall. You may leave your bags here; we shall take them to your new room for you."

"Wait...d-don't I get to see my new room?" Nathan asked, feeling a bit worried about this. "I mean, what if I can't find it later?"

"Oh, I'm sure you'll be able to find it easily," the butler chuckled. "Ah, that's right...here. This should be your key..." Nathan wasn't sure from where he pulled it, but he now saw a silver-colored key being held out in front of him.

Slowly taking the key and putting it into his jacket pocket, Nathan started to follow after the maid to the dining hall. He was already starting to prepare himself, thinking about how to go about introductions. I've got to think of something good real quick... At that point, he passed a very reflective vase, and looked at his own face in it. "And I see in my reflection that I have the dumbest hat ever," he muttered to himself, trying to force a smile on his face with the self-insult. "Yes!"

Nonetheless, as he was guided into the dining hall, he just couldn't feel any hint of happiness. The maid showed him where he was to sit at the long table--there was a card with his name on the plate--and Nathan pulled the chair away from the table and immediately threw himself into it in a slouching position, feeling immensely depressed from his attempts to cheer himself up.

His eyes snapped upwards again when the lights dimmed, to see the screen at the end of the table which began speaking to them in a digitized voice. What the hell is this...? Is the headmaster really fond of making jokes or something? I mean, come on, "SW2K74"...you gave us your name in the invitation you sent to us. What, are you trying to say you're actually some kind of secret agent or something?

Still, it was ever so slightly unsettling to be greeted by this rather than a real person. It was good that the food was brought out as soon as it finished speaking, because Nathan didn't want to devote any more thought to it. Just as he straightened up and reached out to snag some food with his fork, however, his eyes landed on the screen again. For some reason, a number of letters had appeared on the screen. His name was written up there, on the second line, right next to another one: Chess Belle.

Huh...? What's that about? he wondered, silently taking the chicken leg he was aiming for. Whatever...I guess I'll just enjoy the food for now.

"To say goodbye is to die a little." At least, that's how the saying goes. However, such was not true for one Rook Justitia. His decision to attend the Gifted Academy had not be his own, but rather his parents. They saw a chance to be rid of him and they took it without hesitation. The only member of his family reluctant about his departure was his younger sister, the pride of the family. He bore no animosity towards her, though he couldn't say he did not envy her. Even so, he did as was told and packed his things, including his sister's guitar which she had forced upon him despite his meager amount of practice.

Now, had he known about the distance he would be travelling, the lengths he would go, in order to attend this school, he may very well have put up more of a fight against his parents. First there was the plane ride from Tokyo, Japan over to the Athens International Airport. From there he had to take a taxi over to the port where he was boarded onto a ferry to the island where the Academy was situated; the middle of the Aegean Sea. The flight itself wasn't so bad. There was on-board wifi so his laptop could easily connect to the internet, allowing him to browse some pages. The cab ride was not to bad either. It was a quick ride, after all. However, the ferry ride was absolute terror. A boat ride into the middle of the sea with someone who was hydrophobic was not something that was a happy thought. Rook spent most of his time in his cabin, though that did not do much to relieve him of the boat's swaying.

Upon his arrival on the quaint island where the academy was built, he knew then of the absolute glory that was dirt. At his arrival to the doors of the academy, Rook came to a butler standing by the door. "Good evening, sir. Might I ask for your letter to confirm that you are indeed a student of the academy?" the butler had said. Rook didn't reply with words, but simply handed over the letter. The butler sifted through the letter, pulling out Rook's tarot card. It was a simple design of an old man with a staff holding up a lantern. Along the top were the words "The Hermit" along with the roman numerals for nine. The butler returned the items to Rook before gesturing over a maid. "Welcome to the academy, Mr. Justitia. Please leave your bags here and they will be delivered to your room and she will escort you to the dining room."

Rook felt quite uncomfortable with the idea of leaving his bags behind with the unknown man, especially since a plethora of it was equipment for his computer. Nonetheless, he did what he was told and left his bags at the doorstep and followed the maid towards the dining hall. "Not bad..." Rook muttered to himself, scanning the detail of the halls. Definite didn't shirk any work here.

Soon enough, he had entered the dining room, the maid seemingly vanished after showing him to his seat. His seat was beside a male who, to put it simply, felt like a threat. Of course, that could very well just be the result of Rook's lack of social contact. The lights dimmed and the screen towards the end of the room lit up and began its dialogue. "Not bad with the programming, I would say..." Rook mumbled under his breath. He didn't understand the whole alpha numeric name that was stated, but he figured it was probably just a model serial number.

Of course, it the first thing that struck him as a nuisance came after. The list showing pairs. Rook, the hermit that he is, was already against it. That being said, the message did say that they didn't necessarily have to spend time together.

"Rook, I presume?"

From the corner of his eye, Rook glanced towards the source of the voice. It was the slightly menacing male sitting beside him and he was watching him. Shifting uncomfortably in his seat, Rook glanced over at the other male's nameplate and, sure enough, that was his supposed pair. With a slight scowl on his face, Rook reached over and grabbed a pitcher from the table which was slowly being adorned with food and poured himself a glass of white milk. "Yeah. That's right." Rook replied, taking a sip from his glass of milk. "Look, I'm not gonna pretend that I fathom the idea of being all buddy-buddy with you so, if you would be ever so considerate, can you not stare at me with those beady eyes of yours?" Rook continued to take small sips from his glass while pulling out his phone, hoping that was enough to stop that conversation in it's tracks. Dealing with people first thing after dealing with the water was just too much for his body to handle.

Chess sat with her eyes closed, the sound of the ocean lapping against the sides of the boat causing little birds to dance in her vision and the taste of freshly squeezed lemons to slither across her tongue. To most people the ocean would taste like salt and sea air, maybe even sunscreen, but to Chess her palette was a little well... More unique. It wasn't an insult, it's just that most people nerves were not crossed wired. Most people could not see sounds and taste them as well, they would never know the joys of a rich coffee voice or how relaxing the color purple was. The horn on the water taxi began to beep and Chess jumped, nearly bumping her head on the roof. "Alright little lass, we're here." He said as he pulled into the dock and opened the door. Chess jumped out, grabbing her bags and thanking the driver.

The journey from London had been long and arduous and Chess was a bit late because the lift in her house had broken so she had a bit of trouble getting her bags down the stairs. Just as the female shouldered her bag with her art supplies a man and woman came to greet her, both dressed to the nines in old fashioned maid and butler attire. How amusing! Chess could only assume they were employees of the gifted program. What else would they be doing on an islet of the shores of Greece?

"Good afternoon Ms. Belle," Chess was in awe. How they they know it was her? Was she the last to arrive? "Might I see your card please?"

"Oh! Yes of course!" She placed her bag on the ground, rifling through the mess for a few seconds before withdrawing her hand and revealing the Empress card. The two nodded to teach other and the butler placed something on Chess's bags before asking the maid to lead Miss Belle to the dining hall. Chess followed eagerly, her eyes wide in awe of the place. She had been in castles before, Chess was often invited to have audiences with the Queen after her lung transplant because the story had made it's way around London, all the way to her cousins in Devon shire.

Chess was ushered inside what she assumed to be the dining hall. There was a long, rectangular table with twelve seats and place cards in front. Most everyone was there, with but a few seats left to be filled. The maid showed Chess to her plate, pulling out the chair and allowing Chess to sit down before pushing it back in. "Thank you," Chess said and nodded her head in appreciation. The woman merely backed away, leaving the dining room. Chess hung her bag on the back of the chair, turning over the place card in her hands to see the word Empress printed underneath. What did it mean? Chess wondered when the lights suddenly dimmed and a presentation was given. When the lights came back on, illuminating the hall once more, Chess noticed platters of food spread across the table.

Her stomach growled, she had skipped breakfast in order to catch the train to the airport after the whole broken lift fiasco and reached for the platter closest to her, suddenly feeling self conscious and only taking a little bit rather than what she really wanted. "Don't be a piggy Chess, you've only just gotten here." The girl murmured as she picked up her fork and dug in. How rude! Chess hadn't even introduced herself to the students sitting nearest her! She chewed quickly, swallowing just as fast and wiping her mouth on her napkin. The boy beside her didn't seem interested in making conversation, rather he was busy stuffing his mouth with a meat stick as big as his head. "How do you do?" Chess asked anyways, figuring a good first impression was the way to go.

"So, here I am." Hanako said out loud, looking upon the island in front of her. It was very beautiful, and also well kept. Hanako really liked that. As she walked down the path to the school, she tripped, and scraped her knee, her book that she had in her hand, and her suit case flying out in front of her. "Geez.." Hanako mumbled, getting up and grabbing her book and suitcase.

She looked at her knee. Every time she fell and hurt herself she wondered what is was like to feel hurt. Hanako shook that thought away and got up. The journey from here to Japan was tiring for her, and not to mention she almost never travels. She got here by boat, and just figured out she can get a little sea sick.

As soon as she got up, these people with fancy suits on came rushing to her. Hanako believed they were butlers? They took her stuff, and quietly started guiding her to her room. "Here we are M'lady." He said, smiling. "I just need to see your letter from the headmaster to let you in." He asked, and Hanako took out her letter from the back of her pocket and handed it to him. The Bulter carefully looked t it, while the others unpacked Hanakos belongings in the room.

"You may go in." He said, and Hanako nodded, walking into her room. It was very, VERY nice. There was a card beside a computer that had just talked to her. She looked at the card. 'The Fool', why'd she hae to bring that around with her? That'd kinda embarrassing. "Oh well." Hanako mumbled and took it.

After Hanako got out of the shower she got changed in a beautiful lacy dress. Hanako was in awe of this whole experience, and it was just the first day here. She did her hair into a nice up do, and put a tad bit of lip gloss on and smiled. "Time to go~!" Hanako chimed, walking out the room, and putting some shoes on. She started to walk to the dining room.

Hanako was overly surprised when she got there. Everything here was just so beautiful. Hanako saw her name place, and went to go sit there. 'The Fool', there it was again. She really hated that name, it made her sound like something shes not. She looked at the card beside her, 'Samuel'. She wondered who that was, the name sounded like a guys name. She looked at the food in front of her, she was kind of hungry.

She grabbed some bread buttered it, taking a big bite out of it. It tasted amazing, since she hasn't ate in forever. She poured some more things onto her plate, and tried a slimy looking thing. She made a face as soon as it touched her tongue. "It's snail, a delicacy around the world." A maid behind her said, and she nodded, swallowing the gross thing. She shivered and kept eating, waiting for the others to come.

Belphagor adjusted the top-hat he had on, it had been on straight. How silly. It was now at a jaunty angle, this was preferable. He scanned the streets before him, then sighing e looked on his shoulder to see his doll.

"Ai?" He asked softly.

"Yes Rhys?" A falsetto voice answered.

"Where am I?"

"On an island. Headed to your new school Rhys." Bel nodded and looked up ahead to see a building, some servants came rushing out to him, squawking like peacocks, no. Like chickens at the slaughter house. They mentioned something or rather about a card, and some letter. Bel simply showed them his letter and pressed past the three loud servants. They managed to catch up to him however, and proceeded to lead him up some stairs to a room.

"We have taken the liberty of putting all your belongings in here Mr. . . S-Sin is it?"

"Sì" Narrowing his eyes at the butler Bel quickly smiled at him. "Grazie." Looking at the bedside table he saw a card. The Devil. A pang shot through him. Almost of sadness. He pushed it aside and noticed the butlers were telling him that he needed to go eat with the others.

Others?

Bel made his way down into the grand area where everyone else, well everyone who was there, was eating. Glancing about he realized he was supposed to be seated by someone called Valentine? Yeah, Cassandra Valentine. Striding confidently, Ai on his shoulder he sat down at the place marked with his name. Looking to the seat next to him he thought briefly about what sort of woman this Cassandra Valentine would be. More importantly he wondered what the rest of the "Others" were like.

Glaring down at his plate Bel began to eat, his blood-red eyes scanning and judging everyone he could fixate them on. I'll need to gather intel on my fellows, maybe smooth-talking will work with this crowd.

The Island was beautiful, and the school even more so. Sherry stood alone before the impressive building, eyes blinking up into the midday sun as she soaked in and disregarded the information her hyperactive senses were delivering to her brain. Two bags sat at her feet where her families servants had left them before re boarding the ship she had arrived on and leaving.

Without bothering to pick them up, she could already tell that the building had servants who would do the job for her, taking her bags to her room without prompting, she began to walk down the path and towards the building. Any second now a butler or maid would appear to lead her to where she was expected, and if by magic, Sherry's ears picked up another pair soft footsteps of a young women (probably in her early 20s, wearing a multilayer skirt which was causing the slight swishing sound of fabric) swiftly approaching her.

Turning her head back over her shoulder, she offered a brief nod of acknowledgement to the maid, who smiled back in return. Once she came level to Sherry, she began to speak.

Good day Lady Sherry Hisakawa. I assume you're journey was pleasant?, she offered, drawing Sherry's piercing gaze to her face once more. The mask she wore was perfectly constructed, and not many would of been able to pick up on the slight tick above her eyebrows which would indicate the women's irritation at her... job presumably, or the perspiration gathering above her lip suggesting she had been outside in the heat most of the day, possibly guiding the other students.

"Quite. I presume I am one of the last few to arrive? Considering you appear to have already led quite a few of the other students down this path today and your desire for the day to end.", she responded in a monotone voice as she returned her eyes back to the path ahead.

There were other students, and considering the headteachers tone in the letter it would be safe to assume that he would like all the students to meet and interact, most likely location for this would be a dining room considering the time of day and social standing of the head.

"Correct milady, though there are still 4 more students to arrive. Please follow me to the dining room where you may become acquainted with your peers.", the maid offered in a polite and measured tone (Suggesting she had not cared for Sherry comments) before taking the lead. They continued for some time in silence, before approaching a large door, the dulled sound of cutlery on china and murmur of conversation telling Sherry's they had reached their destination. "Your bags have been taken to your room, have a nice evening milady.", the maid offered with a slight curtsey before moving away done the hallway and leaving Sherry alone.

Upon pushing the door open, she found herself looking at a long table with 12 sitting places set, and already 7 of these seats had been occupied. Each place was marked with a name, indicating who sat where. Moving towards her seat she spared little attention to the people occupying the room, already pretty aware of their life story without having to look.

Taking her seat, she turned her attention to her card, paused and blinked. The Star could be considered an ironic title to give the girl, not only where stars know to be used in the art of fortune telling but also existed above the world where they were able to observe the happening of humans with a objective view, however this irony was lost on the girl and she soon turned her attention to the card at the place next to her, absent for now, The Hierophant was the title above the boys name. Sherry quirked her eyebrow curiously before picking up the outer most fork and beginning her meal.

August 1st, 2015
I don't even know which Greek Islet we're on anymore, but whatever, I'll still say it's Petalida because laziness.

Slouched in his chair and wearing incredibly dull shades of white, gray, black, and brown, Nathan realized every part of his appearance probably clashed horribly with his surroundings. But, well, that wasn't exactly something that could be helped anymore, was it?

Without looking at anyone else, he reached for another dish. That was the scary part, honestly--whenever he looked into other peoples' eyes, it always felt like they had bad intentions. At best, it seemed they wanted him to stop talking about them; at worst, they looked like they wanted to murder him. And that was only one feeling he got from talking with other people...

Abruptly, someone sitting to his left spoke up in a British accent, trying to strike up conversation with him. Oh, no. Nathan's body immediately froze up, still with food snagged on a fork and hovering a few inches from his plate. Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap, crap, crap, crap, what do I say to her, what do I say to her, what do I say to her...dammit, Nathan, think of something, think of something, come on, she's just being nice, this isn't hard!

He was very, VERY glad he had arranged his hair to hang over his left eye, thinking she wouldn't be able to tell what thoughts were going through his mind. Yeah..I'll try to act like a nice guy. She'll like that, right?...even though I'm probably not actually that nice anyway.

Resuming his hand motion and bringing the food to his plate, Nathan turned to look at her with a very small smile, hoping no part of his expression looked fake. "Oh, I'm, uh...I'm doing fine. How about you...?" Good work, you've already started stammering. Way to mess up within your first sentence, idiot.

The girl who had his attention right now was a bit shorter than Nathan himself, possessing auburn hair that was arranged in two pigtails which hung behind her head, reaching her shoulders. Then his eyes landed on the name card...Chess Belle. Wait, their names had appeared together on that screen after the "headmaster" was finished talking...

"Oh...so you're Chess, huh?" he asked, taking his own name card which had been on his plate and placing on the table so she could see. "I'm Nathan. Dunno how much you'll like being around me, but I'll try to act respawnsible."

Only after the words left his mouth did he consider the fact that making puns was probably not the best idea when trying to make new friends.

~Samuel J. Livingston~

August 1st, 2015

Samuel, having flown all the way from Holliday, Utah, to whatever Greek inslet that he was plopped down on, had caught a bit of jet lag, and his left ear felt as if it was half-deaf from the constant changes in air pressure. He attempted to clear it out by yawning, but to no avail.

He had only been standing in front of that mansion for a little over a minute, with his single orange duffel bag hanging from his shoulder by a wide, yet thin black strap, and yet his mind was already in motion. He noted the camera that was staring at him, and he faked what would seem to be a genuine smile and wave.

Although Samuel knew that there would be way more than one camera, it only sent a twitch of irritation through him. He muttered under his breath, "Now why would they need cameras for a school dedicated to the gifted..." He had only just finished his statement when he realized why, although he decided to not let it linger any longer, and pushed it to the back of his mind.

After taking in the sights, Samuel finally stepped forward and up to the main doors. Before he came to a total stop, he heard footsteps coming from behind him. He put on a friendly persona before turning around and smiling warmly to what appeared to be a butler.

"I can bring your belongings to your room. Your card and letter, please?" the butler asked.

In a flash, Samuel remembered the letter, as well as the card that came with it. "Sure, here you go."

"Please, make your way to the dining hall so that you may join the others."

"Uh, okay then." Samuel hoisted the duffel bag off of his shoulder and into the butler's waiting hands, walking past him and pulling the large doors open. He stepped inside, gazing around the entry room in mild awe. After a moment or two, he decided to finally make his way to the dining hall, noting every hall and room he came across. The layout was imperative to know, even if a little bit. If something interesting occurred and he was forced to book it, he'd be able to navigate throughout this foreign location.

At last, he came upon the dining hall, where most of the other gifted individuals were already seated. He found the plate with the card standing atop it saying "Samuel Livingston". He took his seat, with a petite girl with straight black hair sitting to his right, while another girl with blonde/orange hair who seemed like a bit of an airhead sat happily to his left.

The lights suddenly dimmed, and the monitor at the end of the table started speaking in a robotic voice. He really didn't pay attention; instead, he studied the appearance of the girls to his immediate flanks. He soon figured out that he'd have a mental and psychological rival unlike anything he'd ever seen before.

An airhead, that's how others always perceived her. Chess wasn't sure if it was due to her small size or bright smile, but she was always being underestimated. How she loved to surprise others with her knowledge! Chess could see that even now, despite the fact that she had proved herself and gotten into what was supposed to be one of the best schools in the world they were most probably doubting her presence. Chess never belonged anywhere, she never fit in and she wasn't sure why. The girl always did her best, but in the end she almost always stuck out like a sore thumb.

"Nathan, it's a pleasure to meet you." Chess smiled despite the bad pun, she could tell he was nervous and decided that she would simply put his worries at ease by giving him the pleasant expression she most always wore. His voice tasted gray, like a cloudy sky. "Despite what you might be thinking I'm not named for the game, rather I'm named for my great grandmother Charlesse . Chess was what her friends called her so my parents thought it would be cute to name me the same thing." It was a lie. Chess was actually named for the classic black and white checkered board game but others normally found this so odd that she had decided to revamp her naming story to something a bit more classical.

After all, Chess was such an uncommon name, especially for a girl and the fact that Chess could not actually play chess did not help her case any. The girl turned to her plate and took a bite, chewing slowly in order to savor the flavour of her food and maybe in order to avoid more conversation. She could tell that Nathan was not used to speaking to people, the exact opposite of her. While Chess had been at first rejected by her classmates, she had eventually been accepted by them and opened up to become the bubbly, loving girl she is today.

Chess realized there was another boy on her other side. Unlike Nathan though, he was tall and a bit... Scary looking. Chess did not enjoy the looks he was giving her, as though he were sizing up a meal and she swallowed hard, nearly choking on her bite of buttered bread. "How do you do?" There was no point in avoiding conversation as eventually she would have to speak to him. "My name is Chess, who might you be?" The girl inquired with a warm smile.

Tristen hadn't been overly fond about coming to the academy, and it took the boy next to him less than a few sentences to remind him of that. At least at boarding school he only had to deal with the rich, shallow kids that usually had daddy issues. Here he was going to have to deal with this oddball group that all thought they were some kind of special. The only comfort he was going to have here was Louella, and that was something terrifying as well. If she ended up being the only person he could stand enough to be around, he'd probably go mad.

"C’est dommage*, but suit yourself mate." Tristen manages to refrain from rolling his eyes, instead putting on a bored expression as he faces forward again. His sister and the the Green are chatting animately, or well, his sister is chatting and he feels a bit bad for the other. His gaze subtly moves over everyone else gathered at the table, practically imperceptible, as he fills his plate with some of the lighter foods out on the table. A glass of wine would have been amazing, he thinks, but since there was none he was content to settle with lemon water. The lack of alcohol was probably a good thing anyways, especially after a boat ride, and he would have never heard the end of it from his sister.

*translates to "that's a shame".

Louella wasn't bothered in the slightest by the dimming lets or the robotic voice. Couldn't have cared less, didn't blink twice, just waited until the lights came back on and turned back towards the girl next to her to continue introducing herself. In all honesty, the level of unconcerned she was, was probably concerning. "It's really so nice to meet you, I'm Louella, but you can call me any variation of that." She said cheerily, not giving the other girl much time to say anything. There was a moment where she deviated from her goal to sneak a look over at her twin, who didn't seem to be having a good time with his pair considering they weren't talking at all. She really hoped that she and Astapora could get along well, not having her boarding school friends around anymore was going to be tough, but she figures it'll be a ton easier if she found one good friend.

Her attention is taken again when the girl finally speaks, sounding shy and making her feel one part bad and three parts glad. As long as Asta didn't sound annoyed, right? "I'm just excited to get to know someone! This place seems so... big and intimidating, but less so when you have someone to explore with." If her twin was paying any attention to them, he probably would have already apologised to the other girl in advance for her tendency to come on strong to strangers, but fortunately he seemed otherwise occupied and she was free to speak to Asta. "So you're the High Priestess, yes? What are you here for?" She asks, a little hesitantly. Personally, she had no idea why she was here. For her twin it was simple, he had an amazing mind, but she wasn't particularly special in any way.. so she wouldn't know how to answer the question she had just posed to her new friend, if it was thrown back at her. "Oh, and um, Einhorn?" Her pronunciation wasn't amazing, almost laughable, but she did her best. Besides, she was busy filling her plate with fruits and sweets.

"C’est dommage, but suit yourself mate."

Rook had absolutely no idea what the other male had said in the first part of his sentence. He had studied enough English to speak it fluently, but this language was... well, foreign. Luckily, Rook was prepared for such an occurrence. He quickly inputted the phrase into a translation program on his phone and got the instant translation. Shame? What is a shame here, exactly? That I'm not going to be getting to know you better? Ha, get your head out of the clouds... Rook's inner monologue was cut short upon his realization that he did not quite remember his "pair's" name. He locked his phone and angled it to the side as to see the person's reflection in the dark glass. Noting that he appeared to be looking elsewhere, Rook quickly glanced at the other male's name printed on a slip of paper on the table. Kay Ainsworth, huh?

He looked back at the reflection of Kay on his phone and then followed the direction in which Kay had appeared to be looking. Right across from himself sat two others, one with long silvery hair, the other with long green hair. Kay seemed to be staring specifically at the girl with silver, given the angle of his pupils. Rook couldn't help but wonder what the reason was. Perhaps he had a thing for the short, silver-haired girl? Maybe something happened between the two? After all, they were both here before he had arrived. It is a possibility they had spoken prior to Rook's arrival. With a scoff, Rook unlocked his phone once more.

The seats around the table were quickly filled and, with food decadently assorted on the tabletop, it appeared as though the others had begun to mingle. Rather, it was certain they had begun. The level of volume was certainly higher than it was before; not chaotic, but higher. To another person, this would probably feel like a normal occurrence. However, to Rook it felt suffocating. It felt as though he were enclosed in a room with sound blaring from all sides. Something that a person who always preferred the silence would only understand.

"Is the need to hear your own voice such a necessity?" Rook muttered just loud enough for some to hear, though without a specific person in mind. "Mataku*. When will I be allowed to leave this table? I have better things to do than listen to these clowns converse." Taking another sip of his milk, Rook pulled up another application on his phone, this one meant for hacking. He had tried it once before, hacking into the academy's system that is, but failed. He knew it was, with the powerful firewall they had, an impossible task, but it was a way of keeping his mind from idling to death.

* means Geez or Good Grief

~Samuel J. Livingston~

Samuel said nothing as he watched the Italian jerk up to his feet and smile maniacally. He was virtually unfazed, though; he knew that a creep like this would be erecting at least a few haunting images here and there. In fact, as the man strode over, Samuel donned a genuine grin. He was slightly perplexed, however, at the doll mounted onto the guy's shoulder, but it seemed like it had nothing to do with the current situation, so he paid no attention to it.

He listened to the man berate him for interrupting his chat with the French woman and for spoiling his appetite. His grin only turned more smug as the Italian completed his sentence.

It was a bold move on his part, sending the King advancing on the psychological game of chess that Samuel was playing with him, but he saw the kinks in the attack and dove right in.

Smiling even more, he pushed back, "The name's Samuel. I assume you're not familiar with the American accent, because that's exactly what my voice contains. I believe we have never spoken before because you've been trying to place that French girl over there-" he pointed at the girl the man had just spoken to- "under your control. You've been assigned the "The Devil" Tarot card, but even an ape can figure out that fact."

Samuel leaned in close to The Devil, his own eyes mere inches away from him. His voice was a mere whisper. "I can guess that you've been waiting for someone to swoop in and save the girl, and I proudly recommend shutting your childish mouth up. It's a shame that you're using your God-forsaken gift right out of the gate like this. I can tell you're a master at using it, which means that you've used it to torment countless other people to bring them under your control. You may think you're the stronger man here, but keep in mind that I sit on the throne, and me alone. Any attempts that you do to try to take it away from me will be obliterated. Because you see, you've started a fight that you'll never be able to escape from. No one can beat me at the art of deduction. No one."

Samuel leaned away from The Devil, returning to his original position. He shifted his gaze to the woman who was being fought over and read her expression. After a moment, he noticed that all of the other kids had looked up from what they were doing to watch the action. Perfect, he thought, smiling to himself mentally.

~Samuel J. Livingston~

Samuel turned his head to look at the French woman, who was apparently named Cassandra Valentine. She had told both himself and The Devil to not attempt to "protect" her, even though he knew that the creep had attempted to do the polar opposite to her.

He was just about to reply back when she snatched a bowl of vanilla ice cream from the table and nearly sprinted out of the room, refusing to look back.

The average person would feel guilty, or at least uneasy. Samuel practically wanted to laugh out loud. "My counterattack was spot-on. I don't care how the woman feels about me, but at least the creep wasn't able to latch onto her. But I bet he'll be persistent. I'm not gonna be allowing him to challenge the throne."

Samuel looked around at the remaining students, since a kid who looked like he was ready to punch something stormed out, and of course Cassandra, had already left the room. "Well, I guess we all should get going. This grub is getting cold, anyways, and I hate cold food. Don't you?" He gazed at everyone in the room before turning away.

He was blatantly optimistic, since things were going so well. He put his hands into his pockets and left the room at a leisurely pace. Since the Old Geezer hadn't said where to go or what to do after the "dinner", Samuel decided to check out his room. He'll be able to relish this accomplishment for a good while.

- Sherry Hisakawa -

Sherry glanced up at the sound of chairs being pulled and moved about, the individuals that were once seated in them moving away from the table and leaving the room.

Over the past half hour or so, much had taken place and she had remained impartial, curious to see how those she would consider her peers interact. At first a young man with black hair had sat down next to her and displayed blatant interest in her... ability if the way his own strengths were to be taken into account. It peeked her own inquisitive mind as the boy showed superior deductive skills but refrained from engaging in conversation with the american so that she would not contaminate the experiment with her interaction with the participants.

It seemed the centre of the commotion that had taken place was a pretty French girl, who demonstrated a tendency towards mistrust and aggression, who was on the receiving end of some unwanted flirtation by a white haired male with a mysterious doll resting on his shoulder. The same dark haired boy who had tried to start a conversation with her had run to the brunettes rescue for which he received no gratitude but rather disdain and irritation for his actions, deemed as unnecessary according to the female.

As the girl stormed out, the second one to have left the room, and soon followed by the dark haired boy who had attempted conversation... "His name... What was it again... Samuel? Possibly..., Sherry mused for a few seconds before turning her attention to the white haired boy again.

Damaged. The doll had fallen to the floor and the boys whole demeanour had changed from when he had first arrived. Gone was his confidence and now replaced by invisible tears and a desire to escape. He was the next to leave.

Bring her napkin up to clean her mouth and placing her knife and fork together on the plate to indicate she was finished and the servants could take her plate away, she silently raised from her seat and made her way towards the exit without sparing another glance to the rooms inhabitants.

"It would appear I have stumbled across something interesting...", she mumbled out as she wondered the halls. She could already figure out the way to her dorm room but felt no desire to go to a place where she would be left alone with nothing to do. The library or a laboratory appeared to be the most promising, and the mansion would definitely have both.

However, Sherry found herself heading away from the library, apparently in the south wing considering older blueprints of other buildings that had similar structure and layout, and towards the dorms. It was not hard to guess the boys location, and so she soon found herself outside his door, listening to his quite conversation with himself.

Again her curiosity was peeked. She should of learned by now though, that interacting with others only ever caused harm to them... But she had to know why he had been so sad, and why he was so dependent of that doll of his.

Raising her hand, she delivered three swift knocks to the door before waiting.

It was honestly quite interesting as to how quickly the situation in the dining room had deteriorated. The two males, silver-hair and black-hair, had seemed to be fighting over the a female. Rather, it seem more like the dark-haired male had just been wanting to pick a fight as a means of showing who should be the alpha male. Nonetheless, their argument had been making Rook's milk taste sour. Being in proximity of such a high-octane argument just simply ruined the, otherwise simplistic, mood of the evening. Rook was just about ready to leave the table when a large bang emitted, shaking the silverware and nearly spilling his glass, had he not quickly held it down. The source being the male with the animal-print hat. "Sorry. Bit of a stomach pain." He had said, before standing up and leaving the room. Now, Rook knew was no doctor, but it didn't take one to know that it was more than just a bit of stomach pain.

Following the sudden exit of the male, the female whom the two from before had been bickering over stood up as well. He didn't quite catch what she had said, but she did not look pleased. She picked up a bowl of dessert before following suit, and leaving the room. Rook turned back to the other two males as it seemed it was the turn of one more to exit stage left. "Well, I guess we all should get going. This grub is getting cold, anyways, and I hate cold food. Don't you?" This question put out by the male with darker-hair. He too spun around and left the room. Then there was the silvery male. He faced the rest of the people who had remained seated and, quite surprisingly, apologized for the event displayed before them.

As the silver-haired male walked out, Rook noticed the slight tinge of sadness contained within the voiced apology. Silently taking another sip from his cup, Rook noticed one more body leave the room. This one belonged to a girl with glasses, though it seemed like she left with no intention of making contact with the rest of the remaining occupants of the dinner. Perhaps she too is just not a people person. Rook thought to himself, finishing off his glass of milk.

Taking a quick glance around the table, Rook noted that there was but a remaining six who had yet to leave, if they had the intention to do so. Just then, Rook was corrected as another person, rather late, walked into the dining room followed by a small dog. Rook let out a rather long sigh and begun to fill his plate with food. With the exeunt of five people, the room felt both calmer yet suffocating. Rook considered himself to be one of the lucky ones. At least, for the time being. It appeared as though the person whom he was partnered with, Kay Ainsworth, was not among the many oddities of the group. Either that or he was the most odd. Rook stared at his now full plate with distaste. Despite having had nothing but a glass of milk, he felt rather full. Perhaps it was more apt to say he had simply lost his appetite. He pushed his plate forwards before leaning his chair backwards so that two of its legs were suspended in the air. "Well, for better or worse, at least it feels a bit calmer here." He voiced aloud, "I didn't know what to expect from a school for 'gifted' people, but it sure as hell wasn't this. Then again, I guess you could consider such absurd levels of stupidity a gift in its own right."

It didn't take long for the green to desend upon the food set before them all like a vulture that had been starved for carrion for weeks. Granted he had breakfast...about seventeen or eighteen hours ago, but still looked less like a lady and more like a beast gnawing away at a fresh kill. Piling on every kind of meat and bread that the table had with both hands in a sort of rhythm as he paced himself in stuffing cooked flesh and baked goods down his throat without a seeming end to it. The sound of bones crunching snapping as they were eaten with the wings themselves, harder bones creating a small pile on another plate. His fangs making quick work of anything tough and mouth becoming a void for the ravenous lion.

In this frenzy of feasting, only looking up to drink some of the lemon water to the side of him and to watch the drama unfold before him. He hadn't gotten a chance to meet everyone on a one on one basis, but at least from what he could see, the devil had done nothing to deserve such abuse. One would say the priestess had sympathy for the devil, perhaps? The girl he was greeting and seeming to hit it off he couldn't get a bead on at this moment. The two boys in front of him didn't seem to care too much, one looked like a business man and had an air around him that he couldn't place and the other drinking his milk seemed to care even less. At the very least the commotion had calmed down and on the up side no one was really watching him eat...or at least commenting on it.

That was until he heard something that made his blood run cold. A small bark. A puppy's bark right next to him. To the others, this may have been responded to with an 'awwww~' or requests to pet the pup. For the green, however...This cute noise sounded like a demon cackling at him, unlocking a deep seeded fear that caused a very near automatic response. He made a noise that sounded very similar to a very angry and very loud lion's snarl, fangs bared as he stood and backed away from the small creature and failing to even notice the male holding it. The plate that was still full of meat was scooped up in one hand and his new partner by the waist so that he was holding her under his arm like one would a sack of potatos and proceeded to book out of the dining room it as fast as he possibly could with a look of absolute terror on his face.

_-_ᴡʜᴏ: "Alone" in a corridor
_______________________

As soon as she’d left the dining hall and turned left she could feel the rush of adrenaline seeping away and the shivering of what she’d done began to set in. She could also feel a faint wetness at the corner of her eyes that only served to infuriate her even more. Her cheeks burning as the embarrassment of her outburst hit her ran to the left after she barged shoulder first into a wooden door on the right of the stairs that lead to the upper floors. Spinning round a corner as the door banged loudly off the wall and swinging back towards its frame slowly; Cassie paused with her back against a wall before slumping into a heap, her backpack falling from her shoulders and a shower of pens and pencils tumbled out alongside her sketchbook.

Leaning her head back till it touched the wall she closed her eyes and took a few ragged breaths before steadying her breathing properly, and allowing a faint smile to grace her lips. Once she’d regained a little composure she lifted the bottle of wine to her lips and gulped down a few mouthfuls before gasping for air as she realised she’d swallowed a little too much. In the aftermath of before she burst into unnerving laughter as she half choked herself and deciding to put the bottle down instead reached for the bowl of ice cream she’d also stolen in her hasty retreat, leaving her artwork sprawled across the floor where several sheets had drifted from her bag along with her tools.

She’d only managed to take a few spoonful’s of the pure delicacy that to her tasted akin to ambrosia when the door she’d barrelled through before was again slammed open and a tall girl with long flowing green hair charged towards her, mewling and looking on the verge of tears. Shocked and confused Cassie’s eyes darted from the girls face to the plate of meat in one hand and finally to the giggling girl that appeared to be being carried under the arm of green. Not sure what to make of neither this nor what had occurred to result in the bizarre scene before her she simply stared, her spoon halfway to her mouth. Her stunned silence was broken as the pair darted past, with green kicking Cassandra hard across the shins and stumbling before ricocheting off the wall and vanishing around the corner at the end, with her absence being followed by angry yelps of pain.

Dropping the bowl to the floor with a thud she pulled up her jeans a little to better massage the pain out of her now aching leg and glaring down the corridor. She was torn between following after them, hitting the green haired girl with her bottle or just sitting here and hoping something similar didn’t happen again. Finally after glancing around her she settled on remaining where she was and took another sip from her wine.

“I wonder if all schools are like this?” she grumbled to herself as she reached over to pick up some the bits of paper and sighing when she saw a couple had been crumpled by Green’s passage. “Typique!”

Everything happens rather quickly. An obnoxious dark haired boy stands up and makes a fuss, another boy comes in, rather late to the party if you ask her, there's the sound of a puppy barking and then suddenly she's being dragged out of the room sans one shoe and has a faceful of green hair. Not that she actually minds or anything, she'd just like a little bit of warning next time so she doesn't lose a flat. On the upside, at least her new friend hadn't just abandoned her, even if Lou had no idea where she was being taken.

It wasn't until they got to the kitchen that they finally stopped, blowing straight past the artist girl and through the swinging doors. Astapora set her down and promptly climbed into the cabinet under the sink, the door shutting with a clatter that echoed in the large cookery. Louella stared at the door wide-eyed for a few moments before sinking down to pull off her other flat, figuring since she didn't have the other there was no point in wearing this one. Holding it in her left hand, she shuffled forward to knock on the cabinet with her right, "Asta?"

She settled down on the kitchen floor, ignoring the few people still actually in there cooking, and poked the door open to peek inside. "Are you okay in there? Whatcha doing?" Any other person might have been having thoughts about how this was probably the strangest situation they'd ever been in, but, Lou was much more worried about her green haired girl. Well, that, and peeking over her shoulder to watch for when her brother would inevitably show up. He hadn't seemed to be getting along with his partner, so it wouldn't have surprised her if he had followed them.
