Going as far as to lie in his reports so to make sure his kids aren't discovered. A family man at home and a "Hunter" at work, he's someone that is sure to not cross. Especially if your a gifted.

With his kids being all he has left since his wife's death, his biggest fear would be if they were discovered to being gifted and taken in. Worse if he is to be given the order itself to turn in his own children.
Bio:
His life wasn't easy with his children. Working as a Hunter in tracking down gifted, he was almost in a panic when he learned that his first born son showed signs of being one of them as well. His wife struggled to keep him silent as they both knew just how they were treated when turned in to the departments. Agreeing with her, he kept the report a secret and told his son to never let others learn of what he was able to do. Then came his daughter, also giving signs of being a gifted as well. Feeling despaired by the thought that he was being punished in someway, things only worsened when his wife died from an illness a few years later. Leaving him alone to care for his children while keeping their abilities secret.
Due to how he did things, a rough relationship formed between him and his son as he continued to call him a "hypocrite" for still hunting gifted while keeping his children's abilities secret. Things were a bit smoother with his daughter, but he fears it wont stay that way for long. Now, he continues his work in tracking down gifted people and keeping them away from the risk of harming the public and away from sight.
