❝Alexandra Ackroyd❞

Ever since taking command from her father, the hunting parties have become less frequent. It had been due to the rise of the number of hunts that had brought about the increased number of casualties in the first place. Everybody should know that one that is wounded makes them an even fearful opponent as they'd fight more fiercely, but obviously such was not taken into consideration, and in the end it had led to her father getting wounded. Alex loved her father, but he didn't mean he agreed with everything he said. He wished to aid the Hunters' Society in eradicating the threat, but Alex saw a different approach and aimed to bring peace between the species. However, she did have her pride as a hunter and a hunter must not surrender when under attack, so her ways would hopefully have the creatures asking for peace, seeing as her alone won't be able to change anything, only with those near her and in her region, at least till her father takes over.

For now, this was her operation and so far she had succeeded in luring out a lone vampire by being bait, a role she played well, which led to the vampires' capture, another role that she played well. Now the vampire, Viktor, was at her mercy but thankfully he agreed to aid her and so she granted his request while she investigated the forests of Hill-Valley where werewolves were traced to be located, but soon, those werewolves and the pack that dwelt in there would likewise be at her mercy. If she didn't have her way with words, she had her way with wiles, and so far they had proven successful, and were about to do so again as she noticed a divide in the pack that she was determined to exploit and use to her advantage.

If werewolves or vampires had anything to say about the hunters, they had to remember that it was them that started all this, but if all works out, hopefully she could finish it. It was a shame what it all came down to, but if nothing was done, the fighting would continue. However, it didn't mean they couldn't have fun in the meantime as Alex made her way to Viktor's cage and reached her hand into the cage to stroke his cheek, "Not long now Viktor. Just as I promised, for soon, you shall have a feast, See....I reward those who are good to me", as she closed two fingers on her left hand and kissed them before placing the same fingers on his lips, "Be good now", before she then removed herself and walked away.

Since his capture, they had kept him behind bars and so far he had responded positively, but despite such, he still required a guard. "He's all yours. I'll contact you when we're ready. Shouldn't be long now", she said as she approached Meagan, "Your in charge now", before she left camp and headed towards town for her date with Roman. Well, it wasn't really a date, though it might develop into one if Roman needs more persuasion which might be the case, though right now, the tide was in her favour with the tension that was present.

Upon entering the bar, which seemed to be the most likely place that she would find him, she scanned the room until she found a young male seated at the bar with shaggy dark brown hair. She smiled as she then sat beside him, "A handsome guy....seated alone....somethings not right there", she stated with a smile, before turning to the bartender, "Lager and Lime please, and whatever this guy's having....", before waiting to hear Roman's response. She had been keeping tabs on him, now to see how much he would cooperate, especially with a hunter.

Roman hated job searching. Not only was he forced to interact with people that he hated to interact with-also forcing his 'nice guy' routine, but he hated working. He could do stuff for the pack, but he had grown up taking care of himself and doing things for other people was so difficult. It wasn't as if he actually needed a job, but he hated to live off other people and refused to accept the help of the pack.

After a long day of un successful job searching and an unrewarding interview, Roman found himself three shots in at a local bar. He was wearing uptight uncomfortable clothes, or more uptight then he normally wore. A nice button down light blue shirt, slacks, and a tie. Though, by now the sleeves were rolled up to his elbows, the shirt unbuttoned a few buttons, and the tie hung loosely from his neck. Roman had his hand fisted in his dark brown locks which had been slicked back for the interviews and now hung loosely around his face.

"A handsome guy....seated alone....somethings not right there" Roman blinked and looked up from his whiskey, surprised written all over his face. The girl next to him was dead-beat gorgeous, with her long brown hair and matching eyes. She smiled at him and he couldn't help but grin back, almost instantly drawn to her, "Lager and Lime please, and whatever this guy's having...."

"Whiskey" He stated to the bartender behind the counter, nodding towards his own empty glass, "I'll take another as well, put all the drinks on my tab" Curse his damn chivalry, he had just had an unsuccessful day of job searching and was now paying a girls drinks, but...He couldn't help it. Roman looked back over to the girl, his wolfish smile still in place.

"Well, never thought I would see such a pretty girl in a bar like this" The bartender brought back there drinks as he spoke and Roman gave the large man and nod in thanks. Roman offered his hand to her in greeting, "Roman Wolcott, pleased to meet you. I like a girl that can handle her whiskey, hope that not too much for you" Roman was not the best flirt, but he could talk to girls politely. His dad had taught him manners above all else, so he tried to stick them...even though he usually couldn't talk very well in front of attractive girls.

Viktor sat silently in his cage with his bottom lip stuck out in a pout and his arms crossed over his chest as he propped himself against the metal bars. He had agreed to go along with whatever the Hunter's plan may have been, so long as he is fed and taken care of, but he had never agreed to sit in a cage for the entire journey. Sure, it was nice not to have to walk everywhere, but a cage was way too demeaning. He hated it, to say the least.

His eyelids peeled open to reveal an icy glare, which then shifted to one of the female Hunters as she approached. She poked her arm through the cage and stroked his cheek gently with it. He smiled at the gesture, but had half a mind to snap his head around and bite through her weak skin. Just the mere sight of her wrists alone caused a small burning sensation in his throat, but he had learned to ignore it after a while. He had more self-control than to just feed on the nearest mortal he could find; or so he'd told himself countless times.

"Not long now Viktor. Just as I promised, for soon, you shall have a feast, see... I reward those who are good to me," she said. He simply shrugged his shoulders and offered her no verbal response. He had learnt not to take notice to promises from women, which he took from his own personal experiences. These thoughts were shook away when he noticed that Alex had lifted her fingers to her lips and had placed a gentle kiss upon them. His eyes widened a little but not by a lot. She then moved her fingers over to his mouth and pressed them against his lips, only for a brief second. "Be good now," she said. If he had been mortal, his cheeks would have been burning brightly by now. He thanked the Heavens that his skin would stay its constant colour forever.

Viktor closed his eyes a second time but was still very aware of what was going on around him by the footsteps and voices. He heard Alex walked away from the cage to turn and speak to Meagen, whom he could only assume was her second-in-command or something like that. All he knew was that he was 'under her charge' from now on. "Oh, the joy," he muttered to himself as they'd finished their conversation and Alex had left the area to attend her date with Mr. Wolf.

With a loud sigh, he stood himself up and turned to the female, Meagan. "So, what's first on our to-do list?" he asked, assuming she'd have some sort of slightly interesting activity for them to be doing. He hoped so at least. He'd end up ripping his own head off if they had to just sit like this in silence. He was so bored...

Wilder inhaled deeply, letting the smell of pack and food wash over him. Gingerly, he reached over someone’s head to place the platter of smoked meat down in the middle of the table. They had already gone through one, so he nudged the redhead beside him. “Hey Anna, why don’t you make a plate to take out to Mark? Hes been smoking all day, want to make sure he actually gets to eat something.”

Anna made a small, agreeable noise in the back of her throat, disentangling herself from the others around her to grab a plate and start piling on the meat and vegetables laid out everywhere. Another carried the fruit salad and dessert and then she was off to the back yard, gait as smooth as a dancers.

Wilder liked having his pack at his house, liked the bimonthly barbeques they had. Not everyone could make it, of course, but there were currently nine of his own gathered around his kitchen table, Mark and Anna in the backyard, a handful of children around the coffee table, and himself. In fact, the only ones missing were Ben, who could never get away from the office, Ezra, who was always late, and Roman, who had insisted he had more important things to do. Wilder didn’t understand why Roman seemed to fight the pack so much – why he wouldn’t accept the help of a living space or job search. Half of his pack could hook him up with a job within a week and it wouldn’t be demeaning work. But the man had grown up independent, and the pack life didn’t fit flush with him.

But he was mean in a fight and that’s what Wilder needed.

The blonde’s eyes trailed over everyone at his table affectionately before they settled on the one human among them. She was young, just barely out of college, and plastered to the side of one of his less aggressive wolves. She was nervous and shy, but also pleased to be there. Wilder had mixed feelings about her when Bentley had brought her back from college. Bentley had insisted that she was different and asked to reveal what he and the pack was. Wilder had agreed, knowing that Bentley knew that if the human reacted poorly, they would get rid of her. It was always a hard decision to make. But the human, Harper, Wilder reminded himself, had had all of a one day panic attack before she calmed enough to accept his marriage proposal. Now there was a band on her finger with a matching one on Bentley’s and they were happy. Wilder didn’t like it and she wasn’t pack, but she wasn’t a threat either and she was welcome to pack events. As long as she kept her mouth shut.

The sound of growling drew his attention to the children and he frowned. They wouldn’t fully shift until puberty, but they still had the teeth and vocal of a wolf when they were upset. Jenny rolled her eyes in the way teenagers often did and pushed herself away from the table to settle the dispute. Though Jenny was too young to adopt one of the children herself, she still enjoyed taking care of them. The sixteen year old had a maternity streak a hundred miles wide. Unlike his second. Wilder’s eyes turned to Ash. She didn’t seem to really have a need for children, though that could change as she got older. Either way, as his beta, she wouldn’t be required to raise children if she didn’t wish it.

Many had been surprised when Wilder had chosen Ash to be his second. When Jackson, his old beta, had left to pursue law on the opposite coast, Wilder had been sad to see him go, They had been best friends growing up and it wasn’t easy to let him leave. Still, Wilder had worked with the pack there to get him integrated smoothly and they had said good bye. Then the internal fighting started.

Most assumed Oliver would step into the beta position. He was fifty, but still spry and as wise as the old men from fairy tales, but he had taken himself out of the running from the beginning, saying he was too old to compete with the young’uns. After the fighting – which wasn't deadly, as it was between potential alphas – Luke had come out on top. Wilder had been more than accepting – Luke was strong and people tended to listen to what he said.

Then Ash, who had watched from the sidelines, simply approached Luke and said she’d be Second. And Luke had backed down. Wilder grinned at the memory. Some wolves simply had a presence, and dominance that made others obey. Its how Wilder himself had kept his position. And even though Ash had been young, younger than any beta Wilder had ever heard of, she was technically an adult by pack standards and he had made her position official. She had been fifteen.

Now she was growing into a woman and Wilder was pleased. She stepped into the role he laid out for her when other packs or supernatural came. It threw them off, to have a female speaking to them, and Wilder liked that. She wasn’t soft and in need of constant protection, like some of the other females.

The alpha moved to stand behind the blond in question. “Any news on if Ezra will make it before midnight?”

Meagan woke up in a great mood. When Alex is done baiting the vampire she gets to have him to mess around with. It was as if the vampire was a new shiny toy that she planned to break. Skipping down the stairs she ran straight into Gerald. She growled and shoved him. "Move! I have a vampire to mess with!" Gerald was two times bigger than she was which was saying a lot. He taught her pretty much everything she knows and he was more of a big brother than a father figure. He also knew that she had been looking forward to this special day. "Okay, okay. I was just giving you your bag," he said handing her the black backpack. She smiled and grabbed it. She ran around him, grabbed her house keys, cellphone, and got into her Benz. She tossed the backpack to the passenger seat and started to the journey to headquarters.

She was thinking of all the things she could do with the vampire except take him out. She knew Alex wouldn't approve and she would like to stay on her good side. Also she was still a bit dangerous despite the fact he was supposed to listen to her. This is where the bag comes in handy. It is full of state of the art vampire repellant weapons and her trusty pistol filled with blue silver bullets. She has had that weapon ever since she found out her parents were hunters 10 years ago. It has her name carved on the side along with the last name many people know so well. Lowry. The neighborhood rich people. But now it was just Meagan.

She got to headquarters, but Alex was just bringing the vampire in. He was resting in a cage and she was teasing him. Meagan still didn't know what she should do with him. Alex said she was in charge and Meagan smiled big. Alex skipped away and Meagan sat down in a chair in front of the cage. "So, what's first on our to-do list?" she just shrugged she never came up with any thing. "I would love to take you out, but Teddy the guard would have my head," she said pointing to the guard that was in charge of keeping the vampire in line. "So I will just mess around with my weapons bag while you sit and watch me," she teased while reaching for her black backpack.

Ash sat at the table eating her meat in peace. She made no attempt to speak to anybody or join a conversation. It was just me, myself, and I for the time being. Her leg was sore from her daily run. Today she pushed herself, going an extra 5 miles. Now she was at 100 miles without stopping. She was slightly improving but in this pack, that was nothing. Everyone expected her to be like her brother. One of the beta's. Yes she had beta blood in her, but she never acted on it until now.

Ash reached over and grabbed another piece of the smoked meat. She was super hungry and she needed to fuel up if she was going to work out constantly like most of the fighters did. The children's screams and growls slightly frustrated her. Only because it wasn't peaceful. They were adorable and cute but sometimes they can be annoying. Looking up Ash registered all the people ho weren't there at the moment. Roman, Ezra, and Mark. Including Anna who left the room with a plate of food. It was Ash's job to keep taps on her pack. Her head moved up to her Alpha who she heard coming towards her before he saw him.

“Any news on if Ezra will make it before midnight?” He questioned and Ash put her fork down. "She's usually here by 9. 10 if she's out with friends and 11 if she's drunk." Ash said without batting an eyelid. Ash knew Ezra's like the back of her hand. She was always out doing something and was never at the pack house on time. Ash was always up when Ezra came to the pack house, so reciting the girl's schedule wasn't hard. Maybe a little creepy.

As soon as Meagan offered only a shrug in response to Viktor's question, he rolled his head back and sighed loudly. Oh, he could just imagine how fun this journey would be, sitting in silence whilst the Hunters and Wolves had free reign to walk about and do as they please. He honestly didn't understand why he was any different to the Wolves, they were just as uncontrollable as he with their temper, if not worse. If anything, they should be the ones inside the cage, and he should be the one that gets to poke fun at them and prod them with sticks.

"I would love to take you out, but Teddy the guard would have my head," Meagan continued, causing him to lower his head so that he could get a good look at her. She was pointing in the direction of a large and brutish-looking male. He sniggered at the nickname the Hunter had given him, but left it at that. The male was large and would seem intimidating to most Humans, but he was a Vampire and not a lot shocked him when it came to the size of muscles. He was skinny himself, but that just goes to show how looks can be deceiving. "So I will just mess around with my weapons bag while you sit and watch me," she continued, seemingly attempting to tease him.

It was like all the humour had been knocked straight out of Viktor. He crossed his arms back over his chest and pressed his back against the cage bars, then slid down them and kept getting lower until he was sat down on the cage floor. He brought his knees up to his chest and placed his arms over his knees, then rested his forehead on his forearms. "I'd rather not," he muttered, closing his eyes, "if you don't mind." He'd sooner crawl into a hole and starve to death than watch the pathetic Hunter play with her toys. Just the thought that those weapons could be used against him in the future was a horrid thought, enough to make him shake his head from left to right just to be rid of it.

He looked up at her briefly, before whistling and clicking his fingers in the direction of the brute guard. "Oi, be a doll and go fetch me something to eat," he said, more as a demanding order than a politely-worded request. "I'm hungry," he explained, briefly cocking his head to the side as he shrugged his shoulders.

Meagan giggled a bit when Viktor said that he wouldn't watch. She wasn't actually going to play with her weapons. She was just going to hold her pistol. Taking it apart and putting it back together was a past time. Keeps her busy while she bored, but since she felt bad for having something to do and the vampire not she decided against it. She left her backpack on the ground and then kicked it so it hit the wall behind her. Just then the vampire commanded the guard to get him food. The guard growled which made Meagan laugh. "Just go get it Teddy," she said. He hesitated, but reluctantly he left the room so he could get the blood packs.

She looked at the vampire and then leaned back in the chair. "Did you send Teddy away so you could try and hurt me?" she asked jokingly. The vampire couldn't get past the cage bars. She looked around cage to see how secured it was and then she looked back at the vampire inside. "Too cute to be locked up," she commented. It may be unprofessional to flirt with the vampire, but she is a natural born flirt what else is she to do.

Teddy came back down stairs with the blood bag. He tossed it to Meagan and she caught it. The bag was cold since they kept them in the freezer. She tossed it back and forth in her hands before tossing it to the vampire. "Drink up," she said.

Viktor had half a mind to snap the bars in half and rip out the brute's throat when he growled in response to his command. That pathetic male was lucky Viktor was locked inside of a cage, otherwise he would have been dead before he'd even have been able to draw another breath. And that made him think that maybe it was a good idea that he was locked away. He'd been convinced he could control his temper, but the feelings of hatred he felt towards the guard were so strong that it made him doubt his own will power. He sighed out of relief when Meagan ordered him to fetch the meal, then turned his head in her direction and flashed her a brief but visible smile.

"Did you send Teddy away so you could try and hurt me?" Meagan asked, causing him to make a 'tut' sound and shake his head. "Not to hurt you," he replied with a smirk. His flirting might have been a bit more effective if he wasn't sat behind bars like some sort of caged animal. He needed - and wanted - to be closer to her for that to work. She came closer, seemingly to inspect the security of the cage he'd been locked in. "If this cage wasn't secure, I'd have broken out by now," he said. Her gaze shifted to his and he smiled lightly at her. "Too cute to be locked up," she said, causing his cheeks to heat up, without actually changing colour.

Is she flirting with me?

That's when the brutish guard, Teddy, returned with his food, inside a bag of some sort. He frowned at the sight of it as he had just assumed he would be feeding fresh from the veins; apparently he'd been wrong about that. Teddy tossed it to Meagan and his frown grew deeper. "I believe that is supposed to be my food," he snapped at the guard, naturally just becoming very territorial and temperamental at the sight of blood. He watched Meagan toss the bag back and forth in her hands and his anger was rising very quickly, almost a little too quickly. His eyes shifted into a golden-yellow colour as he shot up and gripped his hands around the bars of the cage. His mouth dropped open to reveal his pearly-white fangs. She tossed it to him and once he had a firm grip on it he turned away from both the guard and Meagan to sink his fangs into the bag. He nearly gagged at the cold temperature of the blood; he preferred it warm, but he was in no position to complain as he was just glad he'd been fed at all.

Once Viktor had drained the bag completely dry of blood, he dropped the bag and pushed his back against the bars, not bothering to sit down. He needed a moment or two to recover from the shift, and slowly his features - such as his eyes and teeth - returned to normal. He took a deep breath and wiped some drops of blood from his lips. He turned to Teddy. "Next time, you give it to me first," he growled, his voice still quite raspy and rough. "I don't like getting angry when I'm not able to kill something to relieve my stress."

❝Alexandra Ackroyd❞

From the sidelines, she had taken a close interest in the pack of werewolves that dwelt in the forests of Hill Valley, taking closer attention to anything she can exploit and use, and such had revealed itself in one of the rebellious wolves. Alex could not deny that her own human history was without fault as humans of the past were barbarians, but in the revelation of the existence of werewolves and vampires, it seemed to answer why and how time passed, their existence must of faded somehow and seen as myths rather than a reality, allowing werewolves and vampires to pursue in their attacks on the vulnerable and ignorant of her kind. These werewolves and vampires were even more barbaric and savages than the humans of old, though she had to admit, they certainly had pretty faces.

There was the myth of the Sirens, beautiful women who lured sailors to them before they killed them. It was the same with Vampires to innocent women, and they could not be effective if they didn't have the looks to go with it. Look at Viktor for example. If she had been none the wiser, she would of been victim to his charms and that stunning face of his, but she knew it was all a ploy and she made pretty-boy pay by having the hunter become the hunted and having him under her control, rather than the other way round. It was such a sad sight to see him behind the bars in the cage she had for him, but it was necessary and she would do the same if it was another Vampire, for it was the person inside that was being locked away, the beauty outside was just for her to play around with.

Vampires were not the only ones who used their looks however, especially hearing reports of missing women. It seemed that what had given these monsters the edge, was not the fact that the humans were not aware, but the humans did not want to be aware, but rather be in their arms. Alex could see where, but it was a dastardly devilish plan, hence why she was using the same tactic again. It had worked for the vampire, and now it would work for the Pack's Alpha should this meeting go smoothly, as she saw the man alot more closely, now that she was seated next to him. At the distance, it was the hair, but upon closer inspection, he was certainly handsome and kinda cute with those puppy-dog eyes, though she wouldn't tell him that.

"Whiskey", he said in his deep manly voice, "I'll take another as well, put all the drinks on my tab", as he then smiled at her, and she back at him. He really didn't have to do that, but it showed how much of a gentleman he was, and it was genuine, seeing that he was not expecting her. Should this change anything? never. Alex was a compassionate woman, but when it came to her duty, this was strictly business, though nothing was wrong with mixing buisness and pleasure, was there? "Well, never thought I would see such a pretty girl in a bar like this...Roman Wolcott, pleased to meet you. I like a girl that can handle her whiskey, hope that not too much for you", as Roman offered his hand, and she took it, "Then I am a girl you will like very much, as you can't ever get enough of whiskey", giving him a wink.

She then proved her point by then taking the glass provided for her and gulped a bit down, before putting the glass down, "See?", followed by another wink. "It sure makes a change to enter a bar and see a decent guy, and a charmingly handsome guy at that, rather than stuffy old men who have never seen a woman before", as she turned away to see the said stuffy old man, before turning back to Roman, "See what I mean?", rolling her eyes, before taking another gulp of her whiskey as she compiled in her head what to say next.

"Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. How rude of me. I'm Alex, short for Alexandra, but I don't like that name. It is waaaay too long, not like Roman - short, sweet and ever so manly", giving another wink as well as giving a smile, before her eyes then focused on his tie as her fingers reached out for it, as she then asked, "So....what brings a charming guy like you in this neck of the woods?", using a play on words and giving a smirk at her own comment, before her eyes looked back up to look at his. Afterall, despite the outside, he was still a vicious werewolf inside which could take what he wants, so why dress in a suit.....

"Then I am a girl you will like very much, as you can't ever get enough of whiskey"
She was flirty, Roman could tell that instantly. Her smiles, her winks...they were enough to make any man a little nervous. He let his eyes roam over her a bit, enjoying himself for a moment while she downed the whiskey. He wasn't lying when he said that he enjoyed a girl that could drink and by the way she had taken that shot he knew she could handle herself. There was nothing worse then a girl who got slobbering drunk and hung all over you, especially if said girl is human.

Roman followed her pointed look and chuckled lightly, turning away from the 'old stuffy man' before the guy could notice that they were looking. It was true, he was hanging out in a bar that did not frequent the young. But he found he liked it better, less bodies inhabited bars such as this and that meant less noise. He was glad that he and avoided the pack meeting today, even though he knew that Ash and Wilder would be none too happy. He had better things to do then play wolf with a bunch of people that he really felt no connection with. Thats not to say Roman hated the pack life, he just didn't really enjoy hanging out with them, especially in human form. But there was something about running through the woods with his fellow wolves, feeling the wind through his dark fur and howling to the moon in unison. It was a different experience then simply changing by himself.

"Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. How rude of me. I'm Alex, short for Alexandra, but I don't like that name. It is waaaay too long, not like Roman - short, sweet and ever so manly" Pretty name, he almost wished she would go by Alexandra. He liked the sound of it, wanted to test it out on his lips, but she had said he didn't like the name much so he would respect that. "So....what brings a charming guy like you in this neck of the woods?"

He raised his brow, having to hold back a chortle of laughter at her words. Woods....He paused, taking a sip of his drink before answering her.

"Hard day of unsuccessful job searching lead me to drown my sorrows in drink. Doesn't look like anyones hiring around here. And you? Doesn't seem like a place a girl like you would frequent" He smiled at her, allowed her to play with his tie. Roman even leaned a little closer to her, his dark eyes burning into her own dark ones. He didn't usually let himself get wrapped up in human girls, but this one was basically throwing herself at him. He had a bad day and needed a little ego boost, so she couldn't have come at a better time. Besides, who was he to deny an attractive girl that wanted to play with his tie? He had once made a rule to stick with his own species, but they were all busy playing family barbecue.

Meagan giggled a bit at how hungry he was. He was only locked in there for about a few minutes, but she didn't know how long Alexandra has had him. She was thankful for the guard and the cage when she saw how territorial the vampire got when someone was messing with his food. Alex had warned her about that, but she wanted to see for herself. Now she knew. It was pretty interesting and she was that scared of him. Meagan has killed worse. She saw how he turned away from them so he could eat and she frowned a bit.

While he ate she stood and stretched her body out. She was sore from restless sleeping. She was excited for the vampire she was in charge of, but now she was bored and she definitely wasn't going to take him out. When he turned back around she placed her hand on her hip and cocked it to one side. The guard did not like the vampire, but it was evident that the vampire didn't like him either. Meagan shook her head. She was going to be in a room with two angry men. It wasn't going to turn out very well. Just then the vampire commanded the guard once more and Meagan just gave up on him. The guard just chuckled. "Or you can just shut up and be grateful you got food," the guard replied. He had a point, but Meagan wasn't going to let him mess with HER vampire.

"Get out Teddy!" she said pointing to the exit. The guard was confused by her request, but she was dead serious. "I swear if you don't walk out of this room I will throw you in the cage with the angry vampire," she threatened. Meagan could easily take the guard and he knew that. He nodded and walked out, but not before glaring at the vampire locked in the cage. She dropped her arm and sat back down in the chair in front of the cage. She let out a sigh and leaned back. "Forgive him cutie. He doesn't like vampires," she said stating the obvious.

❝Alexandra Ackroyd❞

Just as she had locked Viktor in the cage, the war was with who these monsters were on the inside, not with the outside. On the outside, they were a pleasure to look at, and though she could aim to charm her enemies and try and make peace that way, it would take too long and she certainly needed back up. Not to mention that she didn't see herself doing this all her life just for the sake of peace, when she was more than capable of ridding the world of the threat that they posed. If she was to succeed in ending the wars, then she had to do something big. If all vampires and werewolves were aware that the humans potentially could harm every single vampire and werewolf and that every human potentially could not be touched, then surely they would have to listen and would have to back down. It had to work. Charming was one way to soften the inner creature, but another was to startle and force a response that one can only hope would be positive.

Alex didn't mind the free drinks and throwing compliments, but when it came to the older vampires and werewolves that were ugly, then it would just make her sick. At least Viktor was cute and Roman here was handsome for her, as well as them both being respectful by the fact they hadn't advanced already. Should Roman wished to, he could of ordered whiskey as he had, but having a competition of sorts to see who could handle it better, in order to get them both drunk, so he certainly was a gentleman, despite there being a werewolf within him, so he was a gentle-man.

After taking more of his drink, he then replied, "Hard day of unsuccessful job searching lead me to drown my sorrows in drink. Doesn't look like anyones hiring around here. And you? Doesn't seem like a place a girl like you would frequent", shifting the topic to her which she was expecting and making her smile. "The unexpected can certainly happen, but that's where all the fun comes from", as her eyes looked up from his tie and saw his eyes and noticed he had drawn closer, before returning to the tie, slowly undoing it, "My pops has fallen ill as of late, so such has caused me to work on his farm and keep the trade going. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty when I need to, and since I have no brothers, it causes me to toughen up instead which makes whiskey pretty easy to manage. You on the other hand need some work. You look pretty cute, and you seem the strong type, but you need more than that...".

Despite the proximity of him to her, she decided a little separation would work nicely right now, as she came off the stool with one hand holding his tie, while her other hand took her glass and took another few sips, before continuing, "..appearance is also important, especially with your tie and the knot you used. If you don't mind me saying, yours need a bit of work. Allow me", as she walked round so that she was behind him, and then placing the tie round his neck with two strands falling from his neck down his shirt, with the shorter strand in her left hand and the longer strand in her right, as she then said, "Now watch what I do. This is called....the Oxford Knot, if I remember correctly", as her head peered over his left shoulder to see what she was doing, as she directed the strands this way and that, as a triangle shape at the top began to form alot more clearer than what it was before.

Once she was done with the shrands, she pulled away from his back and moved back to her seat but remained standing, "Chin up please", she asked, which she assumed he'd do without question, as she then pulled the shorter strand, so she could make sure the formed triangle was now at the top of the tie, before she let go and sat back down. "There..now your a picture..Elegant, and handsome to boot", adding a smile, "then again, it all depends on the job your looking for, maybe your simply looking in the wrong area, maybe...", deciding to stop there, since she had given him something to think about, since clearly the job that he wanted was a job already taken but it was a job that he would do better at, which reinforced what she said about looking in the wrong area, as he had turned his attention away from the forest, but clearly what he wanted was what was in the forest, or he wouldn't cause a stir as he had. Nothing was wrong with a rebellious spirit mind, so was she....

Roman watched her face as she spoke of her father, slowly undoing his tie. He snorted a little at her mention of him being 'cute' but other then that he stayed silent. As she got off the stool, he down the rest of his drink and turned his chair to face her. Why was she doing this to him? Girls usually hit on Roman, but not in this super touchy sort of way. He exuded a presence due to his werewolf self that said 'stay away' not 'come hither' as this little human was doing.

He became a little tense as she moved around him, but figured what was the harm she could do? He was enjoying it, although he knew how to tie a tie, this girl made him feel good every time she accidentally brushed against him as she worked. He grinned at her as she sat down in the seat next to him once more, a goofy sort of grin that he usually had in place around strangers.

"Chin up please' Roman tilted his head up at her order, gazing down at her and watching her work. He lowered her head once she spoke once more, reaching a hand up to softly run his finger tips over the knot. Elegant? Handsome? He almost burst out laughing at her description of him, but kept it down to a wider smile. He had never been described as elegant before, it was too funny. Roman rest his cheek on his hand as he leaned his elbow against the bar, watching her as she spoke.

"...then again, it all depends on the job your looking for, maybe your simply looking in the wrong area, maybe..." The werewolf raised a brow at her words, thinking through the various office jobs he had turned his pitiful resume in for. Yeah, he did not expect to get any of them....but then again, he really didn't think he could even handle a job sitting at a desk typing all day long. Especially now that he was a part of a pack, he would spend his whole day dreaming of what they were doing in the forest. No, he needed a job that would fit his particular persona.

"Well then, Alex, what do you think I should be doing?" He asked with a small smile, raising his brows at her. Maybe this wonderful girl could enlighten him on his future, cause he sure as hell had no idea where he was going. He was in a pack that he did not respect the authority, and a lone wolf in pack territory was no good. But then, Roman had felt pack life, and he did enjoy it. He just wasn't good at following orders.

❝Alexandra Ackroyd❞

Alex wasn't completely lying as she told him what brought her here. The art of lying and deceit was that they had to be convincing, and to be convincing, the story had to roll and not have too much of a long pause to come up with a story, for it had to be ready there and then or it would be a dead give-away. Her story wasn't really that hard, as she had told him that her father was ill, which wasn't so far from the truth since he was wounded. She certainly wasn't lying when she had said she was keeping the trade going as she was continuing her fathers' hunt, and she was dealing with animals just as she would on a farm since she was tending to one of the lost sheep now.

Many underestimated what women could do, but clearly what Alex had succeeded in so far, had surpassed her fathers' by miles, and if all works out as she hopes, then potentially she could bring an end to the war, but until that happens, she had quite a bit of work to do. There was no doubt he could do the tie himself, but the knot she was doing was much more professional-looking, and it also took a little longer to do, to be able to be close to him for a short while and brushing against him as she tied the knot. However, the knot that she was truly aiming for was the sealing of the deal between her and Roman, for she was aware by her intell of his situation and here he was, a perfectly strong guy drowning his sorrows because he couldn't get a job, when he had a great potential to become a great Alpha, her Alpha. Of course, she wasn't willing to let him get away from her so easily afterwards. It wasn't over till she said it was over, and her word was final.

She couldn't help but notice him inspecting her work as he felt the knot which was alot more bolder than it was before, and then seeing him smile as she complimented him, making him wonder if any girl had done so, or he merely wasn't the talkative type. Well, as long as he did his told, as he was already showing signs of being a good boy as he lifted his chin when she told him to, then everything should go perfectly well. So far her plan had worked well, as she wrapped Viktor round her little finger and had him assist her, though for the protection of others and protection for himself, she had behind bars knowing how aggressive Vampires can be, and now Roman would soon be in the same situation, though minus the cage since he had a part in her master plan, and as she had told Viktor and would say so again, she rewards those who are good to her.

"Well then, Alex, what do you think I should be doing?", he then asked after she had enquired about his job-hunting. The fact that he was wearing a suit gave the impression that he sought work in an office, but clearly it was not working out or he wouldn't be here. Roman was taking it all pretty easy considering, leaning his cheek against his hand that was held up by his elbow on the bar as he paid attention to her. Now she had him hooked after giving him time to dwell on the bait he had left about where he should be, and now he wanted more, which was something Alex was more than willing to provide as she smiled and took another sip since she had not had any since she had done his tie, which finished her whisky.

Once her thirst was quenched, she then replied as she brought her lager and lime and simply used her finger to stir the liquid, "Well....the advice that I was given which I will give to you, is that you do something that you love, something you enjoy, something you feel you are good at", as she paused to take her finger out of the liquid and into her mouth before proceeding to stir again, "The fact your dressed in a suit tells me you've been looking at office work, but looking at you, I think your a more hands-on guy, and your also quite charismatic which is a great quality to have in a leader, and pretty strong I'd say if you can handle your whiskey".

After putting the idea across of leadership, which no doubt would mean more to Roman than her in his book, she then stopped and turned to him, "Away from work for a sec, I wonder what you get up to. It certainly isn't fair that a sweet guy like you drowns your sorrows for work that isn't for you. I have some time for myself but my work is pretty demanding but I'm outdoors most the time which I love, love animals, though the birthing part is a pain so I am hoping my pops is better by then", giving a smile and a little chuckle, as she turned away from him to look at her glass, as she pulled her finger out and merely leaned her elbow as he had on the bar.

Alex didn't have anything against animals as they were nice pets, but the ones she did have a problem with, were those who did not do their told. The animals she was dealing with however were more dangerous and done as they pleased. So far, her plan with Roman was working, as she made him think about the job he should get and now making him think of somewhere that needed a leader, before talking about herself outside and how she loved animals, leaving Roman to take the final bait to see if she had him, which was in the form of her finger. Course, Alex did nothing without a precaution which she had incase it went horribly wrong, but she was sure it would work, though now it was a case of reaching the whole 'deal' business and they certainly could not do it in a public pub when her fellow humans were so ignorant to what was truly out there....

While he had asked her what she thought he should be doing, Roman did not think she would give him a real answer. It was simply friendly banter in a bar, nothing more. But when she opened her perfectly shaped mouth to give him her advice, he found his brows raised and mouth falling open a smig. Of course a girl like this would have brains as well, it only made sense that she be absolutely perfect.

His eyes flicked to her drink as she spoke, watching her finger roll around in the liquid before following it to her mouth. Her finger left her mouth and he flicked his eyes back up to hers, inhaling through his noes to calm himself. While Roman could handle his liquor, he was a few drinks in already when she had shown up. His werewolf side often came out of him when he drank, the side of him that was all predator. This girl, with her long dark hair and matching eyes, was tantalizing him with her words and movements. He had to hold himself back, though he did not show it physically, from going all 'wolf' on her. Roman would not hurt this girl, would not lay a finger on her, until he was absolutely sure he would not cause her harm.

"...your also quite charismatic which is a great quality to have in a leader, and pretty strong I'd say if you can handle your whiskey" A leader? She took one look at him in his shabby suit and bad flirting tactics and saw a leader in him? Roman could not help but feel happy at the thought, though he knew not to fully trust her opinion. She was a human, and even if he would make a good leader in the human world, that did not make him an Alpha. Though she was correct on his strength...he mentally shook his head, forcing and grin on his face to show that he appreciated the compliments.

She continued to talk, and he listened at attention. So she liked the outdoors, and animals to boot? He couldn't help the small chuckle that escaped him, but he hid it quickly by signaling the bartender for another drink. This girl was an interesting one alright, maybe something he could look into keeping around a little longer then just a one night stand. He was already drawn to listening to her more, even though he knew he should probably call it a night and pay a visit to the pack. But honestly, he wanted to sit here more. She thought of him as a leader, something no one had ever said about him, and he liked it. How many times had Roman thought about taking over the pack, but his fear of not being able to correctly take over held him back? How many times had he looked at Wilder with a look of pity and hate, just because Roman knew he was stronger then the puny Alpha?

"I agree with you" Roman finally spoke up, nodding to the bartender in thanks as he poured another whisky, "I'm not made for this stuffy suit, its a shame you could tell so easily. I love the outdoors as well and animals...but not the sort you talking about. I find my interest lies in predators more then sheep and cattle. If I could find a job incorporating that it would be amazing" He smiled at her and took a swig, then turned his chair to face the human girl.

"But see, I'm not really educated, didn't even finish high school. Its pretty hard to find a worthwhile job when your a drop-out, especially in this day-and-age. I hunt, and have so all my life with my dad...if there was a way to make a living off of that, or anything in the wilderness actually, I would take it, no doubt about it"

“Mmmm.” Wilder made a sound in the back of his throat as acknowledgement, brushing his fingers over Ash’s shoulder as he made his way around the table, visiting each in turn. Werewolves were tactile in general and to Wilder touching others was second nature, something he did without thinking. Some were more receptive than others, but none would turn down being scent marked by the alpha, or even the beta. It brought the pack closer together.

It didn’t take Ana long to return from the backyard, and Wilder gave her a brief smile before he bent his head down further to talk to Oliver. Oliver was the oldest member of the pack, pushing sixty. Oliver was also the only werewolf Wilder had ever seen to have a stomach that jiggled. Werewolf metabolism was high, extremely so. On an slow day, Wilder can pack down over five thousand calories. On a day where hes running or shifting, or even fighting, those numbers can easily double. It was like something out of a Greek museum – perfect specimens of beauty and health around his table. Except for Oliver.
Jenny had already calmed the children down and had returned to her spot at the table. After his rounds, Wilder returned to Ash’s side, squeezing himself between her and her neighbor. Wilder didn’t insist on sitting at the head of the table or anything superfluous like that. He was a member of the pack and integrated himself accordingly.

“Anything new?” He asked Ash in a conversational voice, helping himself to the platters of food.

❝Alexandra Ackroyd❞

Vampires and werewolves each had their qualities and their flaws, but so did humans. The largest flaw of course was their ignorance to these dangerous species who dwelt among them, oblivious to the dangers they entailed. In a school setting, vampires were like magnets where people were simply drawn to them by their looks, not necessarily doing anything to get attention except be there, whereas werewolves would be the sports players, the ones that play in the mud, being admired and respected across the school when they thrashed the opposing team and not to mention how well they played as they sprinted into action and sure had beautiful muscles to boot.

Growing up in her family and being aware of the dangers life had, her love life was alot more complicated since she had to decipher whether a guy was a handsome vampire, a cute and sweaty werewolf, or a dashing human, hence why she did not have a partner and leaving her free to use her womanly wiles to trap her enemies. As she spoke, she couldn't help but notice out the corner of his eye, the eyes of dear Roman who watched her finger but she kept her smile to herself, especially when he turned for a drink after mentioning how she loved animals so no wonder he wanted another to make sure he wasn't dreaming this whole situation.

"I agree with you...I'm not made for this stuffy suit, its a shame you could tell so easily", though it wasn't really hard to deceipher when employers of such places had turned him down, "I love the outdoors as well and animals...but not the sort you talking about" though little did he know, "I find my interest lies in predators more than sheep and cattle. If I could find a job incorporating that it would be amazing". Well, if he was after predators, the best job that fits that description is her job, especially to go after the most dangerous animals since they were not easily caught as lions and other wild beasts were. In order to hide her smile at such, she lifted her glass and drunk some, as despite being able to handle the whiskey, she wouldn't go mad on it as Roman had another glass.

Roman then spoke of his background of how hard it was to find a worthwhile job when he was a drop-out, before telling her "I hunt, and have so all my life with my dad...if there was a way to make a living off of that, or anything in the wilderness actually, I would take it, no doubt about it". Well, again, such a job was the job she had, though with him being a dangerous predator himself, his prey were not as dangerous, but right now, the hunter had become the hunted it seemed, but not her of course, at least not yet anyway. She did have to work out how to propose her idea and open up the wedge that was already open so that Roman would work for her, but now it was clear why he was hesistant to act against his alpha if he was timid and respectful towards the pack as he was to her, or maybe it was just to her.

"Well for starters, I wouldn't drink too much of that", as she pulled his glass away to tease him, or he might appreciate the sentiment, but realistically if he was too drunk, then it would be difficult for him to go through with the deal if he changes his mind. "As for school, it only teaches you so much anyway, but if your after hands-on jobs then you probably made the right decision, as can't have a handsome guy descend into boredom and wasting the lives of your life for doing something you'd never want to do, would you not agree?", she told him as her hand reached out to him comb his hair back so that his hair was behind his ears. A lot better.

"I need some fresh air now so I'm going outside", as she turned away slightly, before taking out a £10 note which she kept in her bosum and passed it to him, "I won't take no for an answer, if not to pay for the drink, then your delightful company", adding a smile, before sliding off the stool and walking outside as the cool air rushed straight through her. While Roman paid for the drinks, she gathered her thoughts of how to proceed now that she had him round her finger....

Alex pulled the glass away from Roman and he gave her a mock glare, but didn't fight it. He had drunk enough anyway and if this girl wanted him to stop then he would. Roman gave her his full attention as she spoke, letting his eyes roam over his face before flicking back to her own dark optics ever so often. He loved that she kept calling him handsome, even if he was aware of his good looks. Werewolves were social creatures, but Roman had spent very little of his life socializing.

"...descend into boredom and wasting the lives of your life for doing something you'd never want to do, would you not agree?" Roman nodded along with the statement, whole heartedly agreeing. He was bored, even this stranger could tell. Roman's eyes followed her hand as it reached up to comb through his hair, a very soft sigh escaping him at the touch. Like any canine, Roman's head and ears were sensitive. It was strange that this girl seemed to know all the right things to say at the right times, the right moves to make to draw him closer to her...He almost reached up and snatched her hand in mid air as she pulled away, longing for her to do that again.

"I need some fresh air now so I'm going outside", Alex spoke, snapping him out of his thoughts. He frowned as she turned away and handed him her money, opening his mouth to demand she take it back but was cut off by her own voice.

"I won't take no for an answer, if not to pay for the drink, then your delightful company" Roman watched her walk off, holding the money with a dumbfounded expression on his face. If he had been in his wolf, he would have snarled and chased after the girl. But, Roman had been raised to handle things in a human way. He passed the bartender her money and his own, took one last swig of the whiskey, and jogged after her out of the bar.

The sky was clear outside, yet a slight breeze created a nice chill. Roman rarely felt the cold, so he was fine in his cheap suit. He took a moment to stare at the moon, not quite full yet, but still absolutely beautiful. Like any wolf, Roman was always captivated by the moon on clear nights like this. A soft smile spread across his face as the luminous glow lit his face, almost feeling like the warming heat of the sun. A slow exhale escaped his nose before he turned to land his eyes on Alex, raising a brow at her while his smile tugged further across his face.

"You ran out mighty quickly, do I scare you or somethin'?" He joked, taking a few steps towards her while resting his hands in his pockets. Romans lanky form required him to bend slightly to talk to people people, especially girls. In the dark, his eyes held a soft glow that illuminated when caught in the right light, definitely not human. He tried to avoid direct eye contact normally, but at the moment he couldn't help but be captivated by the girl in front of him.

❝Alexandra Ackroyd❞

Hunting wild animals had been her life's work, but unlike her father, Alex's work has been more along the lines of understanding wild animals, to discover weaknesses, lure them into a false sense of security, and upon doing such would give her the right opportune time to strike. Her fathers' methods were truly outdated, to charge all your forces into the forest, reading to shoot and kill without question, but with the hunters' fierce attacks in that style, the wild animals would only fight back more fiercely. Now that she had taken charge, things would work alot more efficiently and soon, the wild things would be inferior to the humans once her plan comes into fruition. It wasn't that she wanted these good-looking creatures to be harmed, but that she wanted these wild ones to stop harming the rest of her kind who were so ignorant of the truth and oblivious to it all.

She had previously caught Viktor's eyes, wrapped him around her finger, before she fought back and had him at her mercy. Now, Roman would be the same, as it seemed that he was entranced by her, which was a high possibility as only idiots would ignore a beautiful woman afterall, but she couldn't stay in that stuffy pub for too long, especially round stuffy old men and especially when her time to unleash her 'fangs' of her own had arrived. Alex merely embraced the wind that passed through her with a soft smile and looked up at the moon, before hearing a voice behind her, "You ran out mighty quickly, do I scare you or somethin?", showing that her plan had worked and now it was just waiting for her to strike and see if she would work with her as Viktor agreed to do also.

With Roman near her, Alex then turned her head and leant her chin on her bare shoulder as she looked to him and saw his eyes shine more brightly than they did in the pub. To the oblivious human, they would think nothing of it, but Alex knew more as her smile grew, "It was getting way too stuffy out there, and besides, if I truly scared of you, then I would of ran a million miles by now, but it seems you can't get rid of me, and it seems I can't get you off my mind, maybe that's the scary thought", as she turned away and looked at the moon, "I love it here in Hill-Valley. In the big city, you can hardly see any stars at night when you look up, but here you can see the stars twinkle and the moon ever so bright and beautiful, shining on all those below it. No matter where you are in the world, everyone is connected when they look upon the moon, even in lands far from here, where a shepherd is guiding his sheep into a new field with his faithful companion to assist him in their protection from the big bad wolf...".

In this play however, Alex was the Shepherd, Roman would be her faithful companion, while the pack would be the sheep that they guide to the new field (or rather the labs) to protect them from the big bad wolf which is the war that has been going on for way too long, and a war Alex aimed to stop, no matter the means that she had to use to achieve her goal. "Looking up also reminds me of the Jungle Book that I read and watched as a little girl, where Mowgli spent his young days among a pack, and despite being human, he howled at the moon along with the wolves and lived in peace with them, until the animals all banded together to protect Mowgli from Cheerkan by sending him to live among his own kind", before she turned to Roman, "I am lost in my thoughts, forgive me. This is exactly why I said I love the outdoors, it sure takes me back", wondering if Roman would let on a story or two......

Viktor's eyes narrowed into dangerously thin slits when the guard merely chuckled in response to his command. "Or you can just shut up and be grateful you got food," Teddy replied, causing Viktor to snap his teeth and growl. "Yeah, you act all tough whilst I'm locked away, but as soon as I get out I'm going to hunt you down and drain you dry," he muttered under his breath as he took a step back and leaned against the bars to the cage.

"Get out, Teddy!" Meagan snapped, allowing Viktor a chance to chuckle at the guard. "I swear if you don't walk out of this room I will throw you in the cage with the angry vampire," she added. He turned to her. "Please do," he said, practically begging her. It was killing him not to be able to take his anger out on the brutish male. As Teddy left, they exchanged dark glares, but said nothing to each other, except for when Viktor stuck his tongue out and made childish noises. "Forgive him cutie. He doesn't like vampires," she said, again attracting his attention.

He was silent for a moment. "To be quite honest, I don't care about the guard," he said, shaking his head. "I just don't see why I'm stuck in this cage. I've already agreed to Alex's little plan, it's not like I'm going to run away, as I am a man of my word." He lifted his hand and ran it through his scruffy brown hair, before a thought popped into his head that causing him to grin goofily. "The least you could do is let me out for a little while," he suggested, "or perhaps come inside?"

After Wilder nodded his head in appreciation, she picked up her fork and dug right back in. She was thinking about doing a perimeter check. Also because she was bored. The sound of the door opening had her storm grey eyes look up for only a brief moment and look down again after they recognized the person as Ana. Ash looked down at her plate only to realize that it was empty. Sighing she went to get another piece of meat until Alpha Wilder squished himself between her and the person next to her. Ash put her hand down and waited for Wilder to say something.

“Anything new?” Ash shrugged. "Just a perimeter breach from a lone rouge." It happened not too before the dinner. Oh, and that reminded her that she had to interrogate the rouge. So scratch the perimeter run. Going back to the plate of delicious meat, she picked up two and chowed down. She needed the energy.

"It was getting way too stuffy out there, and besides, if I truly scared of you, then I would of ran a million miles by now, but it seems you can't get rid of me, and it seems I can't get you off my mind, maybe that's the scary thought" Roman nodded at her words staring at her as she turned and continued to speak as she looked at the moon. The moon light cast against her eyes and lit them up almost as if she was one of his kind...it made her appear ethereal and eternal. This girls words lulled him, she spoke ever syllable in a way that made him want her to continue for eternity.
"...the big bad wolf..." If he had been in his wolf form, his ears would have perked up at her words. He raised a brow, interested in her choice of analogy but choosing not to comment. Roman remained silent, allowing her to continue to sooth him with her melodic voice.
Alex sure did enjoy analogies though. While he understood the Shepard and the sheep, he truly had no idea what she meant by the Jungle Book. Some sort of pop-culture movie perhaps? Roman did not delve in things on the internet and such, so he really had no idea. Not that he would let her know that, he nodded along with her words like he understood. But she did seem to have one thing in common with all her little stories; wolves. It was enough to make him a little nervous, only because humans were not this interested in wolves that they would bring them up multiple times in a conversation. It was more then likely a coincidence, but truly it made him that more interested in her. Roman was not interested in humans, it was his own rule to stay out of their lives....accept this girl. She was drawing him in, even after just meeting her.

"Oh its fine, I enjoy your stories" he laughed and smiled at her, "It does the same to me, the outdoors, the moon. Opens me up and makes me want to just run and laugh. Its the night air that does me in, the light of the stars at the moon. There is nothing better then traveling alone through the forest at midnight. Do you camp?" He questioned and awaited her answer.

Roman's eyes traveled from her to the moon, allowing himself to relinquish his memories to his time with his father. They were both pure black, large wolves and could travel through the night time without being seen. It was a thrill to gallop by campers in the dead of the night and still not be seen. Deer would only lift their head, birds would take flight only on instinct. In those days, it was like they were the only remaining beings on Earth and it made him feel powerful. When his father died, he lost his silent footing. He could not longer travel in the same way, match his step. Joining the pack only meant he stepped further away from the silent night, but he had no choice. His memories were his only condolence that he had once been invisible to the world.

Come into the cage... Meagan thought to herself. The vampire must of lost her mind. She wasn't going to lock herself int there to keep him company. Meagan doesn't like tight spaces and she doesn't like being locked away in anything. She would rather let him out. Which she was going to do anyway. Viktor was of no harm to anyone besides the stupid guard, who should be long gone by now. She stood up and walked closer to the cage door. Alex would kill her if she found out that she has allowed the vampire out of his cage. Even it was for a little while. But Meagan is in charge and will do as she pleases. "I'll let you out, but no funny business," she said with a wink.

She turned the lock and it clicked in three other places. Alex wanted to keep the vampire on lock down. When the cage finished unlocking she pulled the door open slowly, but stood in front of it so that he had to get around her to exit. "You can not go an search for Teddy. Despite his attitude, we need him," she said with her hands on her hips. She walked away from the door and sat back down on the chair. Honestly she was expecting him to dash out of the cage and up the stairs towards the exit. If he tried, Meagan had her daggers in her pockets. He wouldn't make it to the staircase.

Meagan was a bit hungry herself since she skipped out on breakfast to be here and right on cue Gerald sent her a text message. He made food for her. She did a tiny happy dance before responding back to him. "Looks like your going on a field trip," she said to the vampire. She would leave him here, but she doesn't trust Teddy.

Image Viktor smiled brightly at Meagan as she walked closer to the cage, and he actually allowed himself to believe for a brief second or two that she was going to step into the cage with him, but he'd been wrong. "I'll let you out, but no funny business," she said with small a wink. He smirked. It wasn't exactly what he'd been hoping for but he was in no position to complain, although he knew Meagan was making a mistake in letting him out because it would be very difficult to get him back inside. "I make no promises," he said, returning her wink with one of his own.

His smile widened to reach his ears as he heard the clicking of the different locks. With each click he was being brought closer and closer freedom, and with each passing second he was growing more eager than before. The door opened and Viktor stepped closer, but stopped a few inches away from Meagan, frowning down at her as she stood in the path to his freedom. "You can not go an search for Teddy. Despite his attitude, we need him," she said, and he rolled his eyes in response. "I'll try, but again I make no promises."

Viktor watched Meagan closely as she walked away from him and took a seat in her chair, but wasted no more time in reaching for his previous goal of becoming free from the bars of the cage he'd been trapped in for some time. He stepped outside and took a long look at his surroundings, and sighed upon realising that there was nothing interest worth his time.

"Looks like you're going on a field trip," she said, causing him to turn his head to her. He shook it before leaning against the wall nearest to her chair. "I am not a student and I highly doubt you're going to have me researching anything," he muttered after searching his brain for the actual definition of a 'field trip.' He smirked down at her. "Where are we going anyway?" he asked curiously, "aren't you worried that Alex will return and freak out when she sees both of us gone, and more importantly me out of my cage?"
