Meagan walked towards the step expecting him to follow, but instead she heard him mutter something smart. She left it alone and decided to answer his next two questions instead. "We are going to my house," she said not telling him why. He should be happy that he is getting out, but then his second question made her second guess what she is doing. "Yes she will, but that is my problem not yours," she said. Meagan leaned against the wall near the steps.

"You could always go back into your cage and I can have Teddy watch you until I get back," she taunted knowing that he wouldn't want to be in that cage again. Which was going to be bad when they come back to HQ. She walked forward until she stood in front of her black backpack. She reached into it and grabbed her favorite weapon, her pistol. "Safety first," she said tucking it into her pocket.

"Now hurry up. Gerald is waiting for me and I'm starving," she complained grabbing the vampires hand in attempt to drag him up the stairs. She was strong, but he was still a vampire. Her strength can only take her so far. And she wanted to make it to the house and back before Alex got back to HQ. The last thing she needed is a lecture about how dangerous this is.

❝Alexandra Ackroyd❞

She had him right where she wanted him. She had caught his eye in the pub, complimented him on several occassions and getting close to him and now he was with her, looking into the moon above, though she was thankful that it wasn't a full moon since he'd be more of a wild beast to handle, though that didn't mean she couldn't do it. Everything was falling into place and all according to the plan she had for him, reinforced by her analogy and story-telling, both of which related to wolves and linking back to looking at the moon which wolves loved so much, and also linking back to what she had said earlier of how she loves the outdoors, for how it keeps everyone connected wherever they were, as the same moon was the exact same moon her father was looking at from his bed, as such brought everyone together. It was a nice feeling. If only, if only.

As she was 'lost' with her stories, she explained that being outdoors merely took her back, in this case, back to her mission as Roman laughed and smiled, "Oh its fine, I enjoy your stories. It does the same to me, the outdoors, the moon", as Alex smiled in response only knowing all too well, "Opens me up and makes me want to just run and laugh. Its the night air that does me in, the light of the stars at the moon. There is nothing better then traveling alone through the forest at midnight. Do you camp?", he asked her as he looked to the moon.

"Camping certainly is fun, providing you are....with the right company, that is", giving a playful response before adding, "having a strong leader to keep the camp entertained, and a hunter to keep the campers fed, not to mention a good old camp fire song, or is that the drunken song I'm thinking about...", her sentence drifting into a chuckle. To speak about camping, maybe this was an idea that Roman wished to propose, leaving her to suggest that Roman become the strong leader that he desired to be, or continue to be weak and be a prey to the hunter before him.

"With the right company?" Roman asked with a raised brow. He took a few steps so that he was in front of the girl, gazing down at her with the moon framing his curly black locks. He tilted his head in a canine like fashion, running his eyes up and down her body boldly, "Are you insinuating something?" He questioned, a small deep chuckle escaping him.

He was of course kidding, but he had grown tired of this back and forth him and Alex had been sharing tonight. Obviously she was flirting with him and he with her, but neither of them had taken a step past heated glances or words. Roman was anything but patient and had often been told he operated like he had ADD. But he just had a brain that moved faster then most, maybe because of the lycanthrope or maybe just because he ran on a different wave length. Whatever the reason, he liked things to move fast rather then slow.

Roman locked eyes with the human once he had finished talking, his deep brown optics flicking between hers. He was nervous of course, realizing that he may have stepped over one of those human social boundaries. He liked this girl, or was interesting in her, but whatever this was he was not ready to run her off just yet.

The time was almost ripe as Roman stood forwards, taking the bait and ready to be plucked up, "With the right company? Are you insinuating something?", he then asked with a grin upon his face, ready to move onto the next step but was he truly ready, was he truly prepared where a hunter becomes the hunted, where the prey becomes the predator. In response Alex gave a wide smile in return, "Maybe....", slowly turning her head away due to the proximity between them so that it appeared she was not so confident or thinking through of how she wished to proceed despite already knowing, but clearly showing by this action that she was interested in him as she hadn't backed away from him and therefore had accepted him in.

Giving some time and looking down to the ground, she then looked back up at him, "Are you volunteering....", her smile still on her face as she then turned to face his shirt where she watched her fingers running circles against the fabric and onto his skin, occassionally looking up to meet his eyes here and then as she spoke, "...because if you are, I'd need you to be the strong leader I spoke about, while I be the hunter, so what do you say...", her finger now had risen from his chest area and now against the side of his face with her eyes looking into his and her lip lightly bit by her teeth but only gently, before freeing her lip as soon as she laid her left hand against his right shoulder, while her right hand once again moved his hair behind his ear, waiting for him to make the first move, before she took him down after giving him a taster of what 'could have been', just as she had done with Vincent, though Vincent didn't really need that much and she was much more straight to the point with the Vampire, being aware of the strength they had and that she had no room for failure. Thankfully she succeeded, and now Roman would be her next success in a matter of seconds....

A small smile spread across Romans face at Alex's coy response of "Maybe...", her body language indicating she was slightly unsure. In order to remedy that he took one more step closer, now very much within her reach and encroaching on her personal space. Roman inhaled, enjoying the wild scent she permeated..even if she was human. The smell of a human was so much different then his fellow wolves, it usually stunk and had him stepping away rather then forward. But Alex's scent interested him, drew him in more...

"Are you volunteering..." The human reached out to touch him as she spoke, smiling up at him enticingly as she drew circles on his chest. Roman resisted a grumble of appreciation, a very wolf like sound that he knew would have her running for the hills. Or maybe not...but he could not have himself revealing the secret all werwolves must keep.

"...because if you are, I'd need you to be the strong leader I spoke about, while I be the hunter, so what do you say..." Roman raised a brow at her words, a small smile of amusement crossing his handsome face. Her words...they were too well placed. Something was wrong, he could smell it in the air around her. She was not a normal human and this was not a normal visit. Slowly the girls hand traveled up to his face, a circle of warmth encompassing his cheek. He sighed, looking down at her as she bit her lip gently. Roman almost shoved her against the wall right then and there, but he held back. Humans were delicate, fragile....he could break her in a moment if he was not careful. Roman's eyes slid shut as her hand delved into his hair once more, tucking it behind his ear. He shivered at her touch, the spot behind his ear sensitive as any canines. The way she touched him though...it was like she knew how he would react.

Slowly Roman reached a hand up and grasped the one that was in his hair, pulling it away but not removing his grip. His eyes glowed unnaturally in the night as he fought his inner instincts, the wolfish optics burning into the humans. He smiled, a cavalier sort of smirk that would leave most humans shivering. "What do you mean by a 'strong leader'?" Roman whispered out as he brought her hand to his lips, kissing it lightly, "You speak in the strangest of ways, human, it makes me think you know more then you are letting on" He continued, closing his eyes softly as he kissed her hand once more, traveling higher.

"Your questions...the way you touch...you have put yourself in the worst of situations, girl..." As Roman trailed off, his grip on her hand turned deadly as he squeezed her fragile human wrist, the now brightly glowing yellow eyes boring into hers, "Who are you?" Roman growled out, twisted her arm against his chest so she could not escape him. Roman was done with these games and if he was right, this was no normal girl. She spoke too oddly, too calm in the presence of a supernatural being. Normal humans were not this sure of themselves, did not know the exact movements and actions to take to draw him in. She was a siren, some sort of beast meant to tempt him. While Roman had goals within the pack, he did not need the help of some sniveling human girl.

❝Alexandra Ackroyd❞[size]

[size=86]The proximity between them was even closer with her act of nervousness but she knew that within seconds now, the softening up was over and she would literally play hunter and he be the hunted, unless he knew what was better and wished to work with him afterall. He could always leave here and continue his usual routine of looking for jobs that did not suit him and having to pout and drink his sorrows in the pub, but he knew that there was more to him that met the eye and so did she. He wished to take over the pack and be 'alpha' and despite the hunters and the werewolves and vampires being enemies, she too wished for him to take over the pack.

As she felt his hand holding hers, but rather than holding gently, there was still a grip present which conveyed the idea that she had now provoked an action. Afterall, her methods went one way or the other, but they all came to the conclusion she desired either way. If she was following her fathers' orders, he'd be dead already, but she was not doing so, but if her plan ended up falling to pieces because of one stubborn mule, then she could easily use more up-to-date methods and take out these supernaturals rather than the old-fashioned ways her father uses. If you were going to fight and fight to survive, then you had to fight fiercely and harshly with no backing down. Such would be the fate if this part of the plan went pear-shaped.

Of course, Alex always had her Plan B ready if such did happen, since she knew that her father's men, despite following her orders now, would not wish her to get into any harm so if Roman attacked her, then she would expect the reinforcements to arrive within seconds to leave Roman as a goner. Alex was no woman to mess around, and Roman then gave up and revealed his identity when he called her a "human" before he squeezed her hand tightly which she responded to my straightening her face and sharpening her eyes to not let the pain get to her, just the way she had been trained, not to satisfy the assailant.

"Who are you?", he then growled, twisting her arm against his chest so that her back too was against him. The thing was, females were seen to be weak hence why many underestimate her, and why Roman was underestimating her right now, especially by calling her a "girl". It was interesting though how he opted to kiss her hand rather than her lips, but he had his chance. Though he would not get that chance again, he did have the chance to lower his offensive or else Alex would go to her offensive, though she had no choice but to attack him back in order to free herself as there was only so much her arm could take so she did not have the time to waste.

"I...I..", she began with a stutter so softly, before she then begun closing her eyes and imitating herself as if she was about to faint, loosening her hold and falling forwards. Roman afterall wanted answers and he could not get them if he was being too hard on her, so taking this in mind, she used this ploy for him to catch her, before using her foot to trip him up, her kneecap to push him down and finally her elbow from the arm he was holding to into his stomach, ending her attack with the drawing of a silver blade from her hilt hidden in her trousers with her free hand that now was positioned at the top half of his chest, before looking back up to him, "..am your worst nightmare if you do not let go off me, or this nice silver blade will go right through and into your drum", preferring to say drum than heart as they both beated.

"Oh, and incase you think I won't, trust me I shall, for any movement you make against me, I will push this blade through", laying down the ground rules and clearly showing she was much stronger than a girl before she continued, "I do not want to hurt you however as I truly wish these fightings to end, as surely you and your pack and others dislike running from place to place, as surely like me, you would rather settle down, and such is what I aim to do. I'd hate to ruin a pretty face but will if I must, unless you choose to co-operate, but I must compliment you on your moves. I am aware that you wish for more, and no doubt would make a finer alpha than that of...what's his face...", her sentence drifting so that he could speak.

"I...I..." Roman blanked for a moment from her stutter, suddenly afraid he had come to the wrong conclusion. She fell forward and he moved his body to support her weight, only to fall into her trap. She whirled faster then he had seen any human girl move and suddenly he was in her grasp.

Roman felt the cold tip of the silver knife even through his shirt, running his yellow eyes to rest on the weapon, "..am your worst nightmare if you do not let go off me, or this nice silver blade will go right through and into your drum". Roman nodded his head slowly, his brain still trying to catch up to the sudden turn in events. He raised his eyes to rest on hers, noticing instantly her change in character. So she had been playing him, whoever she was. Romans hands twitched to reach forward and tear her throat out, anger growing inside him. How had he allowed this puny girl to get the better of him?

As she began her speech, Roman attempted to calm himself. He breathed in deeply, listening to her words and sorting through the meaning. Of course, he did not trust a syllable she let out, but he would listen (only because of the silver at his heart).

"...I am aware that you wish for more, and no doubt would make a finer alpha than that of...what's his face..." She trailed off.

"Wilder" He rasped out, finally realizing what her ploy was. She wanted to take down the authority of the pack and replace it with him, only he wasn't sure why she was doing this. Yes, he hoped to take over one day as alpha, but what did that have to do with this girl? Roman examined her, now that he was not under her spell, he could see how battle hardened and strong she appeared (for a human).

"You still haven't answered my question, who are you?" Roman asked again, stepping forward and holding back his wince as the blade pricked his skin through his white shirt, "Do you expect to be able to meddle in the lives of the pack and escape alive? They would tear you apart, use you as a meal to feed the young. You are in over your head, human. While I appreciate your concern, you will end up killing yourself if you continue as you are. And while I hope to take over someday, I do not plan to make a move anytime soon..."

❝Alexandra Ackroyd❞

Many women were seen as vulnerable, hence why they have been targetted by these supernatural kind time and time again, and why Alex took her business seriously, for she was not a woman to mess with, and such was the message that she wished to convey. A lesson that Roman would be learning as he nodded and understood his position as well as hers and realising that there was more to Alex than what meets the eye. As expected, he remained obedient and listened to her as a good dog does. What was she kidding, Roman was certainly no dog but a fierce werewolf and despite her games, he was cute just as Viktor was handsome, but both of them were dangerous unless she did something about that.

"Wilder", he answered him, recalling the name of the pack's alpha. Course she was aware of certain information through her research, not to mention the suspicious deaths of women in these parts that remained unexplained, but only for the moving blind side of her race who could not see clearly what was going on around them. For the rest of the humans, they still retained the fact that werewolves and vampires were mythological creatures alongside the nymphs, the sirens, the centaurs, and all those fantasy creatures you see in the movies. Little did they know, and little were there who did truly know what truly was out there, and why they needed to act fast.

"You still haven't answered my question, who are you?", he asked again as he stepped forward while Alex remained firm in her grasp of the knife as her hand and the knife she was holding became inseparable, as if they were one. "Do you expect to be able to meddle in the lives of the pack and escape alive? They would tear you apart, use you as a meal to feed the young. You are in over your head, human", he then told her which Alex only responded with a smirk. He was not the only one to oppose her plan with the huge undertaking she had taken upon herself, but if all went according to plan, then both sides of the war could be at ease and be at war no more.

"While I appreciate your concern, you will end up killing yourself if you continue as you are. And while I hope to take over someday, I do not plan to make a move anytime soon...", coming to his conclusion as she merely sighed, before then conjuring her response, "I would of thought you would have jumped at the opportunity, but maybe you don't have the guts as I thought. Sure my plans are risky but least I am man enough to do it rather than my father. If my father was in charge, I would have the orders to kill you and all others of your kind, but my father is too old-fashioned in his approach, so its either end the war or I shall take a more offensive stance as I easily could of taken you out as I put on your tie....", she explained so he was aware that despite her risky moves, she still had openings to succeed.

Leaving her words to settle for a few seconds, she then continued, "Everything I have told you thus far is true. My name is Alexandra to answer your question, Alexander Ackroyd, and just as I said before about you being a strong leader and me being the hunter, I am exactly that, and anyone who meddles with my plans will be the ones to watch out. I truly see you as a more fitting leader for the pack, especially if my plans succeed and peace is achieved, but you are right that my plan is a risky one and one that you believe will get me killed, which is all the more reason why you should work with me. I get the peace between our people and put an end to this war once and for all, and you get the pack that you've always wanted. A win-win situation if it all works out, and I believe it will....", remaining positive. Afterall, she wouldn't be going through any of this if she believed it would fail. Sure it would be a challenge as they had to take down Wilder who probably was the one responsible for the mysterious deaths, and then there was the beta who would be in the way for Roman.

Roman stared at her as she spoke, never retreating from his close proximity. While he now did not trust the human, he couldn't help but still be heavily interested in her. What kind of simple being like her took such an interest into the lives of things that could rip her apart in a milisecond? Did she have a death wish, some sort of kink for creatures of the supernatural, or was she just stupid? Roman frowned at the thought, ruling out the low IQ card for his own sake. She had bested him, even pulled silver on him, and that did not happen easily.

She continued to explain herself to him, thankfully answering his questions with out a problem. While her proposition interested him, he continued to be confused behind her motives. He was too used to a world in which each being took care of themselves. While wolves were pack creatures, he did not lower himself to trust any of his fellow weres. Maybe if he had grown up in a pack setting he would understand that bond, but he would never know. This human for some reason wanted to save the pack, wanted to save creatures that killed humans for their own enjoyment.

But she had a point. He knew of the hunters and how they had succeeded several times in capturing fellow wolves, tracking them down and using technology to their advantage. It would only grow worse as wolves decided to fight back, no doubt leading a full blown out war. Somehow, this girl had decided that he was the one to stop this. He had dreamed of taking over as pack Alpha, leading the wolves away from war and death. He could teach them to live as shadows, just as he and his feather had done for such a long time....wolves that lead double lives, human and animal.

Roman took a step away from her, trusting that she would not stab him now. He continued to meet her gaze while he crossed his arms, covering the burning red spot on his white shirt where the silver had pierced his skin. Could they work as partners, both working to meet each others goals....which some how aligned, despite their differences? She seemed so sure of herself, Roman could not help but also feel the same way.

"You propose I work for you to bring down the pack leaders?" He asked her, working through the details, "It will be dangerous, Wilder and Ash are a powerful duo....despite their flaws. And I am not only speaking for you, but for me as well. If I were to align with you, I would be a traitor of the pack, a crime punishable by a horrible death. Wolves to not take lightly to treachery. I need something from you to be sure that I will not be outed....that you will not use me and then dispose of me. The pack can never learn of my treachery"

Roman swallowed, hydrating his suddenly dry throat, "If you can promise me that, I may agree to this....but I need a day" A day to think, a day to plan....a day to convince himself that this was a horrible idea. Because as of now, his instincts itched for him to agree, to take down Wilder and Ash and claim leadership. But his father had taught him to be weary of things that seemed too good, to easily obtainable.

❝Alexandra Ackroyd❞

There was two constants in this world, life and death. No matter how 'immortal', there was a beginning and there was an end. Everybody had a strength and everybody had a weakness, no matter how they tried to hide it, no matter how 'immortal', as there were ways, ways in which Alex used which had brought her thus far, so far. The challenge however was achieving her goal, as there was so much more to do. As she had told Roman, her father would not of approved of her ways as she could easily order her men to charge in and continue the hunt, but what would hunting bring....only more deaths which would only bring more fighting.

"You propose I work for you to bring down the pack leaders? It will be dangerous, Wilder and Ash are a powerful duo....despite their flaws", he explained. The task before her wasn't going to be easy, nor did she say it was easy, because if it was, she would not be here gaining the assistance of Roman, nor would she of kept Viktor as he was just another obstacle in her way. Experimenting on dead or alive supernatural creatures made no difference really, but in the long run, she did wish to put an end to the fighting. Afterall, there was nothing truly wrong with them except for their aggressive stance against those of her kind, and right now, the supernaturals had the upper hand by the fact that only some of humanity knew of their existence. Fact was, these supernaturals would not survive if it wasn't for the humans, but keeping up their aggressive stance would only make the other hunters becoming more aggressive, hence her desire to help create a better future.

Despite being wrapped around her finger, it seemed Roman was not totally opposed to her idea, as he could of attacked her, regardless of the silver but he did not. Such showed that there was a chance that her plan would work, especially if a human can work with a werewolf. However, there was problems for him which he spoke of which concerned him, that of treachery where the price of such was death. Such was the case now for him to commit to what she proposed but once it all worked out, it shouldn't be a problem anymore. Humans were the same when others betrayed them, so in Roman helping her, it would seem he was 'betraying' the pack, despite the action being in their best interest. It was either work with her and help in creating a better world, or prepare to flee and have little rest because the hunters were coming, and not with her fathers' pathetic old ways either.

"The pack can never learn of my treachery....If you can promise me that, I may agree to this....but I need a day", he then requested. Alex smiled, "I believe I can agree to that. If the pack learn of your treachery then I would not have your assistance, so I believe such is in our mutual interest", being careful not to say that he would not be of 'use' to her if he was labelled a traitor, as despite him saying that he wanted to be sure she would not use him and dispose of him, she was 'using' him as they speak by leading him into this course of action. "Same is said for 'disposing' of you. I believe you, like me, wish the fighting to end so I have no desire to 'dispose' of you, so you can feel rest assured of that and simply take my word for it...".

With such established, her eyes glanced to his arm which covered the area where the knife was, before returning to him, "If a human and werewolf can drink together, I am sure a human and werewolf can work together and hopefully meetings like ours will go alot easier in the future. As for dealing with Wilder and Ash, I agree we need time to plan. It would be ideal for both of us to deal with each of them separately....", thinking aloud in order to gain some input from Roman could give before they departed ways, as well as assess his current thinking process and if he was up for what she proposed.

"Fine" Roman growled out, eyeing her cautiously. He took a few steps from the devilish girl, his dress shoes tapping against the ground loudly. The wild was calling to him, rushing in his ears like the ocean beats against the shore line. He needed to change, to run through the forest and rip apart an animal and feel. This girl was to human for him....she was making him think like them. He needed to feel the rush of instincts and the call of the wild before he made anymore decisions.

As his werewolf heritage washed over him, his eyes changed from dark, ocher human orbs to glowing orange wolven eyes. A slow, lecherous smile spread across Romans face while he let his eyes trail down her body slowly, not bothering to hide himself at all.

"I'll find you then. Tomorrow" He growled out in a deep warbly tone, the Change already affecting his voice, "And give you my decision."

Roman turned to leave, but paused mid step. He looked back at Alex, glowing eyes drinking her in, and slid of close to her. Well within her personal space, he leaned in close to her head, his chest bumping against hers as he leaned his neck down to the junction of her shoulder. He inhaled, the sound coming out more canine then human, and seeped her scent within his nostrils. With the Change already underway, he could smell every thing on her. Her feminine, light, foresty scent that he had detected earlier combined with her darker aura to give her a presence that he would not forget....and would be able to track across the city if need be.

Before she could push him off with her silver blade, Roman retreated and offered a small bow, "Till tomorrow then" He mumbled, casting his eyes up at her before turning away and leaping into the dark street.

He broke into a run almost instantly, avoiding the street lights as he raced towards the forest only a few blocks away. His heart raced, its speed picking up as dark fur bristled along his body and claws shot out from his human hands. As soon as he hit the tree line, he allowed the Change to fully take him. Jumping head first, he shed his human skin mid flight, clothes tearing at the seams, and landed as a dark magnificent wolf. He did not give pause after his transformation, only continued to sprint through the forest as he let himself fall to instinct.

"Fine" were the words that came out of Roman's mouth as he accepted her reasoning. All that remained now was the meeting tomorrow when they can work on bringing down Wilder and Ash. First Viktor, now Roman, but all this was the only the beginning. So far she had affiliated herself with the aforementioned supernaturals, but she had yet to make any progress on her plans for such to become a reality. The time was drawing closer however, for tomorrow the attack would begin, the attacks on the weak vulnerable females in this area would stop, while more men were dancing to our tune and obeying her commands.

Her eyes followed Roman's as his eyes were no longer that of a human, following them as he 'checked her out', before telling her that he would find her tomorrow to give her his decision, a decision she believed would be in her favour. Alex never liked to put a whole amount of work into her affairs unless she believed that the outcome would be that which would be to her benefit. Alex played her roles well, having used her innocence to lure Viktor and her charm to lure Roman, both of which succeeded and both of which would aid her when the time comes. She would however be having a hard time if she did not possess the figure that she had, so the fact Roman did look her over showed that she was still having an effect on him.

Roman did however say he would find her, so when he turned away, she knew he'd be back when he turned back, not flinching when he was close to her, but with her blade at the ready to be thrusted into his side if he tried anything, before pulling back, "Till tomorrow then", now that he had got what he wanted. All that remained now was waiting, but first and foremost she had to get back to camp as she put her blade away and headed back. It was the wisest decision for both Viktor and Roman to aid her, as both of them got something out of aiding her, and no doubt ending the hunts would be of relief to them also, as well as to herself. In the end, should her plan work out, the fighting will stop, but the difference is, the humans would be ontop. Either way, with Roman working with her to represent the werewovles and Viktor working with her to represent the vampires, there was already there some connection at least, the foundation of peace between their races.

Despite the success of the meeting, Alex was not so pleased when she reached camp and found Viktor out his cage and Meagan no where to seen, such meant that Viktor must of got out as escaping would not of been easy unless Viktor got in reach of a key. Either way, none of them were to be seen and such annoyed her, as she then grabbed her phone and instantly rang Meagan, waited for her to pick up, before speaking up, "Meagan...I have good news and bad news. The good news is, I believe all is well on my end, but the bad news, I believe things are not so well on yours....Why aren't you at your post? and where is Viktor?", saying such as calmly as possible, hoping such would get her to report back straight away with no dilly dallying. She didn't need this!

He had to admit it was nice getting out of that cage, felt more free to move. But that slowly died as he was dragged to get some normal food. About 5 minutes into their walking he heard Megans phone go off. Looking at her she must not have heard or is just ignoring the thought of it ringing. He signed and said to her "Uh, Megan your phones ringing in case you didn't hear it. He then mumbled something after he said that, but than just proceeded walking on. He thought about what the HQ would be like. He just hoped it would be worth being out of the cage which he already knew the answer to that was. Yes. Viktor smirked as he walked alongside Megan, he was very tempted to just run off and be free from the Cage. Knowing sooner or later he'll be going back into that caged locked in there for who knows how long.

"How long exactly is the walk to your house...? he asked her as they made their way there. Not really knowing what exactly it looked like. Thinking it was probably nice, sure he was hungry but he didn't complain about it knowing he'll eat when and if he's offered food. He hoped they'd arrive there soon even though he liked being out of his cage and all, he would like to see her house and what it's all about from her saying he'd like it. He smirked at the thought of it turning out to have huge cells, which wasn't likely. Was probably nice to live there, and everything. But he liked his living spots, he wondered who the man waiting there was and like. He doesn't recall hearing the name before but his name sure does sound interesting and quite strange to him. Though most things were, but that didn't matter to him right now. Viktor just hopes he'll get his true freedom soon, and not have to be i that cage for so long anymore. He knows he'll be forced back in the cage sooner or later, though which stinks.

Wilder nodded, letting them lapse back into silence. It was a routine thing for her to take care of a rogue. She’d take one or two others with her, just in case things weren’t as they seemed and follow it until it left. If needed, they might give it… incentive to leave. After a long moment of companionable silence he spoke again. “I am going to take the children out tonight and run around with them. Perhaps after you deal with the rogue, you’d like to come join me for a real run.”

Wilder tried to make a point of it, to immerse the children into the life as much as possible. His father, gentle soul that he was, was often willing to play babysitter and insisted that children who regularly dealt with the wolves of their back had an easier time shifting when it was their turn. He had become alpha to late for the new teachings to affect either of the twins or Ash, but both Jenny and Aiden had made the shift with a level of comfort Wilder had never seen or heard of. He chooses to think of them not as anomalies.

So once or twice a month he went into the woods with the children old enough to toddle around, with the help of a few adults in case any mishaps occurred, and shifted fully. The children, especially those young enough to be unable to grasp the situation, treated him more like one of his show dogs than the alpha that he is, and that’s fine with him. It’s a bonding experience that he thinks will draw the pack closer, make them stronger, and in the future secure his own position. After all Aiden, who started when he was far older than the others, has an almost unhealthy devotion to please his alpha.

But soon the children would tire and Wilder would itch for a real run, the chance to stretch his legs. Then the rest of the pack would join – after having spent the last few hours sleeping off a food coma. It was a perfect night, in Wilder’s mind.

❝Alexandra Ackroyd❞

Why couldn’t the girl simply follow orders? All she had asked the girl to do was to keep an eye on Viktor and not let him out his cage…..what does she do? Takes him out the cage and goes on a picnic with him *facepalm* going on a picnic, with a vampire. Did the girl have any idea what she was doing? Did she not realise the potential threat Viktor posed? Sure she had Viktor round her thumb that he was going along with her plan after being outsmarted by her, but now Meagan lets him go and practically offers herself. It did not matter if Viktor was working with them or not, he was and always will be a vampire, he was and always will be a threat to others and to himself, for even it was questionable that he could control his lust for human blood which was why he was caged to protect himself as well as the others.

With Meagan breaking her word and disobeying a direct order, Alex immediately had her dismissed before tying a bind round Viktor’s hands, followed by her arm which weaved into his to hold him in position, reminding her of the day she had enticed him so much until she was the one to release her ‘fangs’. She won fair and square, or at least that’s the way she saw it. Afterall, it was usually the job of the vampires to catch humans off guard, make them fall in love with them before striking. A mere case of role reversal if you ask Alex, as it was about time that vampires had a challenge on their hands and not had it easy. The vampires were smart however when picking out their targets, but clearly Viktor had underestimated her, and instead found himself being played by his own tactics. The irony.

”Just like old times, hey Viktor”, she said with a wink, pulling his arm down a little so that she could peck a cheeky kiss on his cheek before heading back to Headquarters. Course by losing Meagan she was a hunter short, or rather a huntress short. Under her regime of ending the wars between these supernatural creatures and the ever so blinded humans, she also did not fancy the idea of a guy watching her back, girl power and all that sha-bang! As she was thinking of a replacement, she remembered one of her friends who was doing pretty well with herself, but of course even the government, as pathetic as it was, could not see the truth that these vampires and werewolves were real. Thinking of this, she was curious if Mikaela would be up for becoming….a defender of humanity….quite the title huh….

Grabbing her phone out of her pocket, she then dialled Mikaela but was on answer machine, so she decided to leave a message, ”Hey Kayla, it’s Alex. Not sure if you are busy right now but could really use your help as have a job you may be interested in, if you can meet me in the old cabin in the Hill Valley woods. Hope to see you soon…”, closing her phone and continuing her journey back to camp…..

(OOC: Timeskipping to the next day to get things rolling, so will be Alex/Mikaela/Viktor and later Roman, maybe to help Roman confirm what to do, Roman/Wild could spend some time with ach other before Roman goes to Alex so we can get Mikaela involved since Meagan has dropped out since can’t rp anymore)

Wilder came to his senses quickly, as he always did when he woke. The press of warm bodies around him was a comfort, the small snuffling sound of the children sleeping calming him considerably. Last night had gone well. He, Anna, and Jenny had stayed with the children while Ash had taken the rest of the pack for a proper run. Both he and Jenny had transformed, letting the children get used to them, know them in both forms, and play to their hearts content. Anna had stayed human, ensuring they always had a pair of hands in case they were needed. Before midnight the children had fallen asleep, nestled in the fur of the two wolves, and Wilder had been content to sleep with them, letting their scents fill his nose.

Now it was morning. Someone, probably Anna, had brought blankets from the house and covered the mass of sleeping bodies on the ground. The two youngest were also missing, undoubtedly carried inside to real beds. Jenny was stirring too, though she woke with a human’s tendency for laziness.

Wilder nudged the girl with his foot, tying one of the blankets around his waist. One of the draw backs of a full shift was the inability to bring clothes with you. “Come along, sweet. Lets get these pups back to the house and into the bath.”
There were five children in the pack, and both Pierce and little Ani had been taken inside last night. That left three. By the time Wilder had hoisted Jaime onto his hip, Jenny had picked up a sleepy Aron and taken nine year old Megra by the hand. Together the group headed back to the house, where they could already smell the food cooking.

It was only a short walk, in case they had needed to return quickly. In the kitchen, Wilder handed Jamie off to Anna before he excused himself and went upstairs to shower.

When he was done, the alpha could hear the sounds of life downstairs. Undoubtedly the others were returning from their own run. Freshly washed, the twenty-seven year old made his way back to the kitchen, comfortable again now that everyone was together. Anna tossed a pancake at him, which he caught and started tearing into little pieces.

That night, Roman had ran to some of the deepest depths of the forest, the parts that no human ever ventured unless accompanied by some sort of protective. At night, especially in the depths, the forest became a breathing living thing; the trees even seemed to have a mind of their own. Roman had raced through the under brush, let the jet black of his fur meld him with the darkness as he sprinted, leapt, and hunted.

ImageHe needed to be Wolf; especially after that conversation. Alex was...a puzzle. Rom an hated puzzles, not because he was bad at them, but because he did not see them necessary. Why not just say what you want, be up front about anything? Why make someone sit for hours putting the pieces together only to discover that they were shoving one into a place it wouldn't fit? Roman wanted the big picture- not the tiny bits and pieces that it can be broken up into.

He had not returned back to the pack that night even though he knew they had a pack get together. He was to far gone by the time he remembered his obligations; a five hour run back was of no interest to him after a full night of hunting. Besides; no one would truly notice one new pack member gone. Roman was not the center of attention when it came to pack meetings- he was nice to everyone and treated the pack members with respect and kindness, but he did not go out of his way to take an assertive role. That might be changing now....if he followed through with his plan with Alex.

Glowing orange pits glimmered through the hollow of the tree he had found, looking out into the early morning light. Their was a light dusting of fog settled around him, enough to mask the area in a hazy morning glow. He watched it twist through the undergrowth for a minute, enjoying the way it caught the light and illuminated a beam that had broken through the tree tops. There were times when Roman had no interested in leaving the forest- like now for instance. He could imagine himself leaving the pack life and the human life behind for something far simpler...but Roman's father had told him horror stories as a kid about werewolves that went insane after spending too long in their wolf forms. Still....this life would be easier.

A hefty sigh escaped the dark canine before it stood and twisted its massive frame through the opening of the tree. He stretched, pushing his large paws forward as he arched his back and curled his thick tail upwards. Then, with a sharp intake of air, Roman turned towards the direction of the packs den and moved forward in a light trot. He was in no rush to face the pack, or make his final decision on Alex, so his paws mimicked his mindset and set him at a leisurely pace.

Roman opened the door into the house quietly, shutting it behind him slowly so the click of the door wouldn't be heard. Not that he needed to be cautious- the racket that the werewolves made over breakfast was enough to cover up even the slamming of the door. He smoothed his dark hair back back, sliding his fingers through the locks to push them free of his angular face. He had pulled on some clothing that he kept stashed in the woods (like most of the pack- common decency and all); black jeans, a pair of black workers boots, and a denim button up over a white tank. Slowly- because lets face it, Roman did not want to go into the next room with his mind full of swirling thoughts/regrets/turmoil- Roman steeped into the dining room/kitchen and entered into the domain of Wilder and Ash.

It was fairly hectic, with the pups running around and the older wolves chasing after them, trying to get some breakfast down their throats before their day began. Roman smiled at a few of the ones that made eye contact with him, dipping his head in greeting before averting his eyes in a show of respect. He glanced up into the kitchen just in time to see Wilder gobble down a pancake. His eyes instantly went to the floor and a flash of Alex's smirking face filtered through his thoughts- Roman had committed treason against his alpha and then showed up the next day to eat his breakfast. HIs father had not been a pack wolf, but he had never directly disobeyed a werwolf law. Roman swallowed, hoping to settled the turmoil in his stomach before he walked forward to get a plate of his own breakfast and great his alpha.

ImageHe grabbed a plate from the pile that was set out, loaded it with a hefty helping of bacon (he rarely ate anything but meat), then snagged the top pancake that was still steaming warm. Roman looked up at Wilder as he finished his meal, made a moment of eye contact before dipping and tilting his head to the side to show his neck, a sign of submission and affection for the alpha. Roman did not partake in a lot of the rituals; he often did not even great the alpha in this way. But with his resent conversation...he felt it was due. Guilt washed through him, but he tried to hide it with his usual aloof kindness.

"How're you this mornin' Wild?" Roman asked as he picked at a piece of bacon, glancing up for a moment to smile at the other male, "You been outside yet? The fogs beautiful"

A day earlier ....

Since the Division Mutiny she had organized months back things within New Division were still tense, especially between her and the head, Ryan. She had known that creating a mutiny within the organization probably wasn't the best idea nor did she expect it to go over smoothly but after months of getting the cold shoulder from Ryan she was starting to consider going back to Russia. Before the rebellion within New Division there were 300 employed agents. In the aftermath of the Division Mutiny, 8 members were killed, 278 left, and 14 stayed. Soon after Ryan told everybody to go. The only members remaining being: Ryan, Nikita, Michael, Birkhoff, Sonya, Cyrus and herself.

While tensions were high among the seven missions were still being set and accomplished and things in the world were momentarily peaceful for the time being. Nikita and Michael were off on there long awaited honeymoon, Birkhoff and Sonya were being annoyingly nauseating cute and all the down time had Mikaela feeling restless and bored. When Cyrus finally located Mikaela her playing with Birkhoff's newest gadget the 'Robotic Hand', "You know the nerd doesn't like it when you play with his toys." The abrupt sound of voice startled her causing her concentrating to break led to the glass in her hand shattering to the floor. "You know according to the nerd it takes immense focus to control this thing. I had that before you walked in.", she said somewhat annoyed as she disarmed herself of the mechanical hand.

"Yeah well sorry for the intrusion but you've got a message.", he said as he approached her with an extend hand that held her cell phone in its grip. "Zetrov." Mikaela asked assuming it had something to do with the company as she took the phone from the man. With a simple shrug of his shoulders Cyrus handed over the phone before turning and exiting the room leaving Mikaela once again alone. Turning her attention to her cell she retrieved the voicemail and hit the play button as she placed the phone to her ear, ”Hey Kayla, it’s Alex. Not sure if you are busy right now but could really use your help as have a job you may be interested in, if you can meet me in the old cabin in the Hill Valley woods. Hope to see you soon…”

From the second she heard the voice coming through the device she knew all to well who it was. Alexandra Ackroyd. She hadn't seen the girl in a while and the fact that she was calling now all out of the blue made Mikaela wondered exactly what kind of job her friend had in mind. Not like it really mattered because with things at Division currently in a stand still it was either at this point take the job or go back to Russia and Mikaela was oddly enough in no rush to go back to russia. Hill Valley it was.

Present time ....

Mikaela had been Hill Valley in ages and she had almost forgotten just how beautiful the nature of the place was. As she walked through all the dirt, shrubs, trees and insects when she finally made it to the old cabin she smiled. It felt nice to be back. Pushing opening the creaky old door to the cabin she walked into the empty space. Alexandra hadn't arrived yet. The only light in the cabin was the natural light that spelled in from the sun. She gave herself a tour of the old place as she waited for Alex to arrive and fill her in one what exactly it was that this job of hers entailed.

Ash Stone

She didn't want to play a game, nor did she understand completely why it felt like today was a day to pick on her. Ash crossed her arms as she walked the rest of the way home. She wore a pair of ripped jeans, red t-shirt and the locks of her blonde hair. Her eyes rolled in the back of her head as her feet trudged through the soft soil up to the house. She was not a happy camper. The tomboy threw her hands up in the air and pretended to pull her hair out as she entered through the front door. It slammed, and she hadn't meant for it to.

"I will kill them." She grumbled, taking off her shoes near the door. They were covered in mud, and that was not the problem. The problem was her partners in her run that morning had gone off to play hide and seek, or at least, hide from Ash. She shook her head and stretched her shoulder. It was bleeding, which was no surprise. Ash had a small incident an hour prior to her return. She had tried to jump over a cliff, and she would have landed if something hadn't distracted her. It was a small snap of twig, a deer nonetheless and it caught her attention right away. She had glanced and lost her footing, fell, and her shoulder caught the edges of a rock.

The eighteen year old was a trooper, but the bleeding was beginning to make her irritable. This was not a good morning. She pulled off the outer layer of her shirt and underneath, she wore a black tank top, one that revealed her rather deep wound on her shoulder.

Wilder Bell

Wilder greeted those who filed in after he had with a nod or a soft word. Most simply acknowledged his presence, since they had been with him last night the long greeting rituals weren’t needed. In fact, most didn’t bother with those either. Ben was possibly the only one who continuously did it – his work with the law enforcement sometimes kept him away for weeks and Ben was a stickler for rules, even though he was possibly the most laid back of the wolves.

When Roman offered his neck, Wilder reached out, letting his fingers dance over the skin with affection. It was a middle ground response, less intense than the proper soft bite, more than the casual nod it could have received. Roman’s skin felt cool, but almost clammy with a repressed sweat. Something was bothering the wolf, which made Wilder pause momentarily. He thought it was probably something more than another failed job search, but Roman was more lone wolf than pack and wouldn’t appreciate Wilder trying to pry it out of him.

With half a seconds though the alpha decided to leave it alone publicly and simply keep an eye on the other, older wolf. If he thought it would be a problem later, he could bring it up again.

“It is good to see you, Roman.” He spoke, letting his hand fall from the others neck and back to his own food. “It would have been nice to see you last night. I trust something came out of it?”
Image
Wilder couldn’t understand why Roman didn’t accept the pack’s help. They could have him in a job for less than a week, but Roman steadfastly refused.

“I was out earlier with the pups. It was a good time to be out and I---“ he cut himself off as the front door slammed open. Within a breath he had left Roman’s side, letting the smell of blood lead him to his second. He wrinkled his nose at her arm – it would heal, but it was still deep and bleeding freely. He could tell by her face that she was in a foul mood.

“Ash, what happened?” He grabbed her arm, using it to turn her slightly so he could see the rest of her, The noise in the kitchen and dining room had died down to a small whisper.

The second Wilder turned her around to get a better look, Ash let out a frustraited sigh. Her eyes looked up at the male and she rotated her shoulder gently. "It's just a scratch." She said, rolling her eyes lightly. "I miscalculated a jump and fell. My shoulder got the worse of it. I just need to clean it up and wrap it, no big deal." She answered simply, her lips turning into a smile.

"Did you know that deer is in season?" She asked, pressing a finger beneath Wilder's chin. Just a simple touch really and she let herself smile more. "Did you sleep well? Did the others return from the run?" She then asked, almost forgetting. "They took off so I had to walk back alone."

Ash looked passed Wilder and her eyes settled on Roman. She gave a smile, one small but there. "Feel like hunting later with me, Roman?" She asked, her mood perking up a bit. She was still annoyed but it would soon pass. She didn't like having pain slow her down, or her mood to sour everyone's atmosphere. Her eyes looked up at Roman, that piercing gaze of hers that seemed to hold secrets and yet, she felt like an open book.

"We can chase some deer and who knows, maybe some other animal." She added, giving a glance to Wilder. "If you want, you can help me stitch it."

As Wilder reached out a hand to touch him, Roman remained still and obedient. He prayed that the alpha did not sense his uncomfortable nature at the moment....or at least that Wilder decided it was something other then treason.

“It is good to see you, Roman. It would have been nice to see you last night. I trust something came out of it?”

Roman shook his head, his shaggy locks swishing at the movement, "No such luck, haven't found a job yet. Caught a few deer on my hunt though!"

A soft laugh escaped him, but he quieted in time to hear Wilder explain his morning. When the door slammed, Roman turned just as Wilder stopped talking, both their attention taken away as Ash made a very loud entrance. Roman stayed back as Wilder rushed forward, obviously worried about the smell of blood that permeated from his seconds body. Roman leaned back against the counter top, paying the couple little attention as he worked down his plate of bacon.

It wasn't as if he hated either of them, though he had his opinions on their relationship and how it affected their strength as the leads of the pack. As he had stated in his conversation with Alex; Roman did not trust Ash as a leader. He thought that it made Wilder weaker and careless as an alpha- more often then not Ash seemed more the alpha then Wilder. Roman frowned down at his meal, swallowing the meat at the thought.

"Feel like hunting later with me, Roman?" Roman glanced up at Ash as she spoke his name, his brows raised in slight surprise. He instantly put his normal smile in place, one that read that he was open and happy. Roman was used to his facade, so much so that most people took it as his normal personality. He was a nice, happy wolf- maybe not the brightest but surely one of the strongest, "We can chase some deer and who knows, maybe some other animal."

Roman nodded as he set down his now empty plate of food and took a few steps closer the pair, "Sure, I spent the night in the forest and caught a few deer myself, but maybe something a little more challenging. I heard you say deer in in season, but maybe we could try our hands at a buck?"

“Of course I know the deer are in season.” Wilder scoffed at her, catching her hand in his to bring her fingers to his lips for a nibble. “I know everything, after all.”

With a laugh he dropped her hand, drawing away to lean back against the wall. The noise in the kitchen had resumed, everyone relaxing once they were sure there was no threat. “Slept great. Bed of pine needles with a lovely sixteen year old and a few pups in my arms? What more could a wolf ask for?” He grinned then, showing off his white teeth.

"Feel like hunting later with me, Roman? We can chase some deer and who knows, maybe some other animal." Wilder watched Roman, looking for some cue that what was bothering him was pack, but he seemed relaxed enough around Ash, if a bit stiff. Roman had always been odd to Wilder though. The blond had grown up in a pack, knew how one worked, and the lone wolf business just didn’t make sense to him. It was the opposite with Roman, and Wilder thought he had adapted fairly well.

“Oh, you’ll let me bandage you up?” Wilder placed a hand over his heart, looking up at the ceiling, letting his eyelids flutter. “Oh me oh my, next you’ll be showing me your ankle and then what will the gentlemen say? You’ll have to live your life as a spinster.” He ran his hand through his locks, grinning despite himself. When the alpha was happy and content, it was easy to remember he wasn’t yet thirty, and that he looked even younger. Most outsiders assumed he was a lower pack member, a mistake they often didn’t realize until it was too late.

He grinned again, the picture of the term wolfish. “I say we go bigger than a deer buck. Lets hunt a buck elk. I heard rumor of a twelve point, wouldn’t that be fun? Come on Roman, it'll be nice to have you hunt with us again. Its been to long.” The alpha leaned over, nudging the older wolf with an elbow, making it clear that it was an invitation, not an order.

Wilder greatly enjoyed hunting. The thrill of the chase, the adrenaline of closing in, the feel of bones napping under his jaws, the taste of hot liver and blood in his mouth. He was almost salivating at the thought of it.

"The gentleman would be filled with envy!" The young woman exclaimed, rolling her eyes at Wilder's remark. She glanced back at Roman and nodded softly. "Later, we'll hunt for something big and strong and...juicy." The female sucked in her lower lip as she thought about this tasty meal. She looked back at Wilder and shook her head. "Ah, I dont think you'll be joining us on our hunt. You'll only slow me down." Ash stuck out her tongue playfully and stepped close to Wilder. Her arms slid around his neck, dispite her shoulder and gently, she pressed her forehead against the base of his neck. She smelled of Forest and Pine, and lavender. She buried her face into his neck, gently before she stepped back and rotated her shoulder.

There were times, were Ash showed some femininity. They were rare but when they happened, people often enjoyed them incase they were never to reveal themselves again. The beta squeezed her fists together and cracked her knuckles, her eyes looking past Wilder at Roman.

"Tonight, we'll go out a hunt until early morning, that way, those who are sleeping will want to wander themselves. I'm in the mood for a fast hunt too. Long, but fast." She grinned. The beta was always up for running, chasing hard and fast until her legs gave out. Her fingers ran through her hair and she smiled once more, this time a little softer.

"Kay, well, my arm is still bleeding, if you'll excuse me boy and Wilder, I'm going to stitch up this shoulder."

ImageRoman snorted at the girl- superior she should be, but he saw her in no such light. She was interesting though, interesting enough to warrant Romans attention.

"Buck elk, for sure. Your on Alpha" Roman answered to Wilder, giving the other male a wolfish grin. Ash continued on with her strange ways- touching Wilder and such. While Roman understood the pack significance of touch (especially with the alpha) he couldn't help but hold back a snort. He had no interest in displaying his feelings and devotions in such an obvious manner, and Ash's actions made her seem weak in Romans eyes.

"Kay, well, my arm is still bleeding, if you'll excuse me boy and Wilder, I'm going to stitch up this shoulder." Ash excused herself and Roman drifted away at the same time. He had no interest in being alone with Wilder at the moment- apart from his mandatory greeting earlier he'd rather stay away. Roman slipped by the grouped pack members and headed into the kitchen once more, grabbing a glass from the shelves as filling it with tap water. He gulped down two glasses before filling it a third time and glancing around the room, his eyes appraising the grouped wolves.

They were jovial, enjoying the presence of each other in the communal pack area. Breakfast was a social time for everyone to meet together- it was one of the few times they all ate at the same time. Roman hunched his shoulders as he leaned forward on the kitchen counter, looking over the bar as he rested his elbows on the granite surface. While he was always nice to everyone, Roman was far from social. It tired him more then a hunt did- the room seemed to sap his energy from him. His mouth opened in a wide yawn and he shook his head, clearing his mind of the foggy tiredness that surfaced all of a sudden.

A nap seemed like a fine idea, he mused as he sipped his water, or maybe a trip back into the forest... Though he promised Ash and Wilder a hunt later, so he had to stay. Roman sighed and shifted off the counter, downed the glass of water, and walked around the counter top. He grabbed a couple pieces of bacon as he passed the food and immersed himself into the pack- slapping a grinning smile on his face as he laughed and clapped a member on the shoulder. Small talk, his favorite pass time.
