"Normally people call me Dare, but you can call me whatever you wish."
Percy Timothy Yanger
Nicknames
"My friends usually call me 'Dare' for my risky behaviors."
From blowhole diving to bull riding it seems like Percy may have a strike of putting himself into situations that could cost him his life. Doing things like that get him the name Daredevil, or Dare for short.

Height
"When people have to look up at me it makes me happy."

Scars
"Adventures do leave a few dents."
Being wild he has come in contact with hitting the ground.... hard. He's broken both his arms at least five times minimum, and twice he's had his left elbow penetrate through skin, leaving a complete solid long scar on the bottom of that arm. Basically he has scars all over him, most are usually covered by clothing though, but a few more noticeable ones are the ones up and down his legs from scrapping up against rocky surfaces. Another noticeable one is the one above his right eyebrow. The major scars that aren't off the bat visible is the 'Z' that's literally covered into his skin when he was in a fencing match without protection.
Tattoos
"Everyone needs to know my love for music!"
A fraction of a piano board laid upon a few flowers is Dare's tattoo on his right arm. The keys come from his love of music, the flowers weren't original suppose to be added, but while getting the tattoo his mom thought it'd look good on him, so he just went ahead and got it.
Piercings
"My piercings don't make me gay, thank you."
His piercings are simple, just one piercing on each ear; he'll wear a diamond stud in one ear at a time.
Appearance
When first meeting him a few things someone might notice is his first his blue eyes, defined face, and his Brazilian sun kissed skin. His face is well defined, very sharp. On his face you'll find a few freckles, mainly on the apples of his cheeks, and a small mole on the left side of his chin. His lips are very full, smooth, and pink; when smiling he has dimples. Dare's eyes are fairly large and are a blue almost purple mixture. His nose bridge is very defined and thicker at the end.
Dare has stubble for the most part on his face on his chin and has a good amount of hair on his legs. On his head his hair is extremely thick. At the top it's somewhat straight and full of volume; as it continues down if gets more wavy and normally curls up at the ends. His hair stops at the end of his neck. He also normally wears his bangs in a rightward swoop. Most people think he has black hair, but in reality it's extremely dark brown. In almost all lighting it does look black, but in the perfect shade of lighting, usually the sun, you can tell it's brown.
He pretty much has no fat on his body whatsoever, it's muscle. He's not huge like a body builder, but he is fit and extremely strong. He has a eight pack and nice looking biceps. The brood shoulder boy is known for wearing the most randomness of things. Sometimes he wears suits, to appear more sharp and professional, and then the next day you might see him in a wife-beater and shorts; it's just what he's into. The only common thing he wears is thick rimmed black glasses.
Personality
{Daring}{Loving}{Caring}{Easy-Going}{Strong-Willed}{Jealous}{Cunning}{Stubborn}
If you know him then you simply know how he lives. He gets the nickname Dare for a reason. He doesn't believe in just living, for there's no fun in that for him. Maybe he wouldn't have thought this if he's parents didn't force him at a young age to do things with them, but of course now he loves it. He doesn't like simple things, he doesn't like a regular routine, but sometimes he has to get over it, like school, he has to go since he's no longer home schooled, and for that regularness he must spend his weekends and breaks making up for it. From running with the bulls in Spain to bungy jumping in New Zealand it makes it seem like he has no fears. Sometimes the things he does may be extremely intimidating he never fails to do it if he's asked. Turning down a challenge is taboo to this man, no doing new things is just so wrong. Doing new things is always something he looks forward to, so when asked it's nearly impossible for him to say no to any idea. One of his greatest fears is to never amount to anything; he'll never let that happen though. Another hot of the adrenaline junky would be excising, always moving. Having a case of ADHD just always has him bubbling around somewhere doing something. This also makes school almost hell for him, Dare just can't stand the fact he has to sit and be still for hours. When it comes down to everything though he's really into for the fun. Not to prove a point, but for the fun. Every time he does something exciting it brings him so much joy he can't express, maybe that's why he likes waiting five days before he can do anything on the weekends, as long as he waits the anticipation builds.
Dare is one of the most open person someone could ever meet. He loves to make people laugh, bringing joy to others brings joy to himself. Laughter is the best medicine to him, for he does laugh a lot. Sometimes he laughs at nothing, he'll just bust out into laughter for absolutely no reason, this is annoying to people, but he can't help himself. Dare even laughs at his own jokes even if no one else finds them the least but funny; he won't let their boring nature stop his fun. Dare's caring nature leads him to put people before himself, to him other people's needs and wants are more important. He can be a very big people pleasure and normally tries to make everyone happy even if it causes him pain. Dare has tried to stop being so pleasing, he knows in the end it's just going to hurt him so bad, but he doesn't. He just stays so pleasing. Along with the lines of this he's a gentlemen in his ways. Dare knows how to treat people right, which he always does. He's the type to hold the door open for people, if it's raining he'd take off his jacket and place it over a puddle for a lady to walk across, he cooks every meal for his family, and so on.
With the caring he does he tends to get a little to attached to people. It's somewhat strange that he loves to always be busy, but hates to be away from the people he's close to. There's a clinginess about him that gets overlooked because he doesn't put it out there. When wanting to spend an unusually amount of time with a person he makes it not to obvious, like asking them to help him study or hanging with the person through another friend. Dare hates to just come out and say he needs someone from the fear of looking weak, something he defiantly isn't. He's not a guy that always has to prove how strong he is, he finds it so unattractive when other men do it, but if he has to prove his strength he would. Dare has been into a few fights to prove he wasn't a push over, he can't stand to be bullied and taunted how he was in middle school, being almost outcasted, perhaps that's way he clasps onto the people he's so fond of. He may be friendly, but not everyone he talks to he becomes attached to. Like when he does travel he's always with his family, and if possible he brings his best friend along with him, Darren. He's feelings for the boy are great and he rarely wishes to be away from him, maybe because they've been glued together since sixth grade. Darren is the person Dare trust more than anyone, even though he may not tell him everything. He fears losing him more than anyone, that's way he would never tell him he is gay even though he really wants to.
Jealousy isn't an emotion he has every really experienced, so when it comes across him he isn't sure how exactly to handle himself. His jealousy usually forms around the people he takes interest in flirting or being flirted with by others, luckily he momentarily he is only fond of one person, but still the jealousy gets to him. Rhapsody, he hates her with almost every fiber of his being due to jealousy. When she's around Darren he gets mad and even though he tries to hide it he knows it shows slightly. Because of this when she comes around he tends to leave the group. Anger has never been a good color on Dare, he finds it hard to control himself at times. If he becomes overly upset it's like he's not himself anymore. He becomes violent, unfriendly, and is barely stands me. He doesn't like violence, as mentioned before, but if to upset he could possible hurt the person his anger is towards.

Goals
"Everyone wants to accomplish something, no matter how small it's still something."
Traveling The Whole World
"Traveling is in my blood, literally. My family has been moving since forever until one day I begged them to stop moving. It seems like for a big sum of my life the sea and the sky was my home, like it was the only sturdy thing I ever saw besides my brothers."
Traveling for pretty much his whole life means he's explored a hand full of places, but there are more places he could go. Dare has been to every continent at least once, yet there are still places he has yet to see. It's his dream in life to go to every country, city, town, even every single small village on the earth at least once. He knows that it's most likely not possible, but he'll at least travel as many places he can as long as he can.
Music
"My Babushka taught me how to play the violin when I was young. It was so beautiful, but with it's beauty it would cause my fingers to bleed from plucking its settle joy. Regardless the pain I still loved the sounds it made, but it was never as engaging as the grand piano that stood mighty in her home."
One of his least shown loves is music. He knows how to place multiple different instruments; he just loves music and the piano would have to be his favorite. With this talent he dreams of going to Juilliard School of Music one day to study, but this dream may not com true, he may never even go to collage with the fact he couldn't travel if he did.
Being With Darren
"My bestfriend in this glorious world would have to be Darren. It's strange to me how we got a connection from the smallest of interaction, but still it happened. I've always been by his side after we became close, always. I know almost everything about the boy; that doesn't matter though."
It's seemed like every since the two met that Dare knew that he had strong feelings for him. He knows how much Darren loves Rhapsody though and that they'll probably never have a relation since Dare refuses to come out with the truth, but he won't give up hope yet.
Fears
"If you can conquer it it means you shouldn't have to fear it. It's conquerable, which means its beatable no matter the risk or strength of it."
His Sexuality
"People in my town are very dense, so very, very, very dense; why else would I still be single? It's sad to see so many couples being happy and I'm all alone being homosexual without another male to date. Being gay means if anyone else were to find out I'd most likely.... no, I would be shunned and have no one but my family. I love my family, but I would lose my bestfriend. Luckily I do travel a lot though, so that means outside of my town I could meet someone, possibly. Still there's the problem when it come to religious views. So many men believes it's biblically wrong. My family in their ways are religious people, Christians, but never once have they been judgmental against gays, which makes me feel better even though they don't know I am, expect my older brother, Cooper, who at first told me I would go to Hell, a little later that changed though and he promised to still love me and never to tell a soul. He promised that, but when I'm around his friends he acts awkward sometimes, like I'm going to try to rape them or something. That's why I fear I people knowing though. I don't want to be treated differently as sometimes the thought of going to Hell drifts in, sometimes. Once I almost told Darren I was gay, it went south to quickly in our drunken states. If he knew he wouldn't want any part of me, I know that for sure, he's heterosexual, as straight as they come. He'd have to be straight in order to love Rhapsody. Yes, that's exactly why I don't want anyone to every find out this horrible thing about me."
Hobbies
"I feel like I've lived everywhere on this planet!"
Traveling
"I try to travel in my free time as much as possible."
Playing Instruments
"There's nothing more inviting then walking to a home full of the sweet sound of music."
"We're moving!" The announcement was full of excitement as it randomly traveled through the home of the Yanger family. No one had been asked for their opinion, not once whatsoever. "You can not be serious, Lana." Chuckling huskily he wrapped his arms around his wife's face then kissed her forehead. "We can't just get up and move three babies!" Pulling away she started him down with a glare as he continued his laughter, "Am I missing something?" Sighing she shuck her head for a yes. "Before we had children we never stayed in one place for long, and now we're so stable. We've lived in Paris for eight years now and I'm growing-" "Bored? We have four kids, of course you're bored, we just can't get up and leave with them though." "We can though!" "How?" Lana seemed aggravated as she sat down in a chair and just glared. All she knew was to do was glare at her idiotic husband. "Moving sounds fun." The small voice of an eight year old echoed through the kitchen where the fussing was taking place. "Moving sounds difficult and we don't have the money." "My mother is loaded," Lana stood up with a huge smile, "and the children would have such a fun time with us!" Marko was a simple man that loved his wife and finally he smiled back and pulled her into another hug. "Fine, hun, where do you wish to go?" "I want to go to Peru maybe, and then Costa Rica. I want to sky dive and fish for sharks or something." "With our babies with us?" With a face of seriousness she responded, "Yes. With our babies." "Fine, get packed." "I already packed everyone's luggage upstairs!" Slightly walking over to her son she picked him up and hugged him. "You knew I was going to cave." Marko spoke as Lana's back was to him. "Of course." Planting a kiss to Cooper's face she then set him down and walked into the living room where the three other children were. Dare, at the time still Percy, ran around the room. "What are you doing, sweetie?" As he ran he put his arms up and buzzed like an airplane around his mother. "Being bored!" At his comment a smirk grew across his mothers face. "I swear you'll never feel boredom again."
As years went on it was still true what his mom had said when he was two. It seemed like his life was one adventure after the other, always. "Are you scared?" The question was so simple he just looked over at his brother with wide eyes. "No! No! I'm not scared at all!" "I dare you to do it!" In all honesty he was terrified as he looked down at the blue ocean water blew him. He knew that there could be pointy rocks down there unseen by his eyes. "I can take any dare you throw my way." The seven year olds pride shined through his fear as he took a few steps back and a deep breath. "If I die tell mom I love her." Without a second thought he ran as fast as he could and then jumped. Once in mid air he felt himself begin to fall, almost as if he were flying slightly, but it was peaceful. He could hear the whipping noise of the wind around him and the waves below him. Soon he was in them, the soft waves caught him with gentleness. Looking through the water he smelled as he began to kick his way back up to the survive. Breaking through the surface he took a deep breath. "I can't believe you're alive!" Cooper shouted from the top of the cliff Percy had just jumped from.
"Why are they making me go to school? I mean I was homeschooled all of these years!" He wanted to fight back so bad, he hated the thought of just settling down, he couldn't do it, never. "Stop acting like a baby! At least I'm driving you to school and not making you walk." "Starting public means we're done traveling, it means that there's no more adventures! I'm going to be like every other child in the world, but you," looking up at Cooper he frowned, "you're eighteen so you can do whatever you want." "The Great Percy no longer going on adventures? That's impossible! Every weekend I'll take you places, I promise! Dare, I'd never let you stop doing stupid things." He wanted to stay upset, but he couldn't. "Dare?" Raising up an eyebrow he searched his brothers face for answers. "It's short for daredevil." Cooper didn't even have to look at Dare to know he wanted an answer. Stopping the car he sighed, looked at his brother, than kissed his forehead. "Don't do that!" Acting quickly he pulled around from his brother and left the car. "Bye love you, though." He whispered quickly to the chuckles of his brother as he walked up the sidewalk into the school. Once in the school building he watched as all the kids rushed around him. He still wasn't use to this, but he had come on a tour of the school a week ago, so luckily he knew where his classes were. As he walked around he was roughly pushed. "Watch yourself!" A boy a little larger than Dare exclaimed after he was the who knocked into him. "Excuse me?" Was all he could reply. Being around people wasn't completely new for him, but normally it was just him and his family, the only time he truly dealt with smart attitudes was with his brothers, and that only ended with them fighting it out until his parents broke it up. "You heard me, watch yourself!" The boy used both of his hands to push Dare back. "Don't put your hands on me again." Trying to stay calm he took a deep breath and began walking away, until he was pulled back by his hair and pushed into a wall. Before Dare could think his fist went back and he punched the boy as hard as he could in the nose. Blood immediately started pouring from the boy and his eyes fiercely watered, causing his vision to go blurry. "Fuck you." The boy said as he walked away. Shaking it off he then noticed how people were staring at him and he didn't know why. "Are you new here?" Asked a dark haired boy as the crowd began to leave. "Um, yeah. I'm Dare." Holding out his hand he smiled as it was returned with a shake. "Cool name, I'm Darren." Letting his hand drop Dare began to walk away, "Wait!" Stopping in his tracks he turned around, "Yes?" "What's your next class? I could take you there." "Science-" "That's my class too, let's go together." There was a small spark in Dare that liked how strangely nice the boy was being to him and he wanted to ask, but he didn't, he just walked with him to class as the two joked about stupid things to each other.
"You're an idiot!" Cooper's voice was not merciful as Dare laid in the hospital bed. "I'm fine, it's just a broken foot and I'll be leaving this morning." Cooper's rants continued about how this was his fifth time to the hospital his freshman year, but he didn't care because he knew he'd just be getting out again soon. Knock. Knock. Through huffed words Cooper told whoever it was to enter. "How you doing?" The entering human brought a huge smile to the face of Dare. Raising into the sitting position he patted a spot to his left; the hint was quickly taken. "I'll be outside the door if you need me." Shaking his head Cooper left the room, shutting the door behind him with a slam of anger. A moment of silence lingered for a minute or two until someone finally decided to speak, "You promised me to be careful." To the words of Darren Dare frowned, opening his mouth he was going to speak, but stopped himself before he could. "I would never break a promise to you on purpose-" "This isn't the first time you broke it though. First it was a concussion, then a broken hand-it's like you're always breaking something, Percy-" "Call me 'Dare' like everyone else!" He couldn't stand being called his real name anymore, it no longer had any meaning to him, it was a pointless thing to be called anymore. "But I don't like it, I don't like the riskiness." He ran a hand through his hair unsure what to say, what to even do at this point. "I'm sorry, I'll try harder." Dare hated when his bestfriend was upset with him, he didn't know how to handle it well. It put a lump in his stomach and made him want to throw up. "I'll call you what a wish," giving a light hearted tone and warm smirk Dare felt relieved, "just start being more careful." "I promise." Wrapping his arms around Darren he hugged him barely before laying back against his pillow. "Wasn't this a lovely way to end our trip to Hawaii?"
The music was loud and he could barely hear his own thoughts. Picking up another shot drowned in the flavors of Gatorade he took it quickly. "Calm down before you make yourself pass out!" Over to his left was one of the twins, Nick. He was holding onto some girl that Dare had never seen before, "Aren't you a little young to be here?" With the laughs of a drunk he shook his head, "Of course I'm not, I can so whatever I want." Laughing as well he wobbled his way into the kitchen, of whoever owned the house, because it was less crowded. "Hey, buddy." Slightly slurring his words he sat in the chair next to his friend. "What are you doing in here alone?" Dare asked Darren as he rested his head on the table feeling dizzy. "Everything's just getting to noise." "Yeah, well at least now I have you all to myself." "I guess so." Popping his head back up he let their conversation continue in random drunk topics that he barely understood. The whole time he seemed so confused about what was being said, but he tried to carry the conversation on. "You're right, blue is a really good color on you; it makes you look more attractive." At Dare's statement Darren seemed confused, "I'm attractive?" "Of course you are, you're pretty perfect as well." "How so?"
"You're kind to everyone, you when smile you have the best dimples, eyes that make everyone melt. You're just amazing." "Amazing?" Yes," Dare chuckled, "youre absolutely gorgeous. You're strong and beautiful, that's why I love you." When he finished speaking he stood up. "I'm thirsty." Dare stated, but before he made it wherever he was going he fell onto the ground.
Waking up was odd for him. Looking around the room it took a second for him to realize exactly where he was. "Why am I in the-" "Alcohol poisoning. You've been here for about two days throwing up and sleeping." Wiggling around in his bed he tried to recall the things that had happened at the party, the things he had said. 'crap' was all he could think and he knew that Darren was suspicious by the look on his face. "Have you been here the whole time?" "Yes, I was worried about you... and I have a question." Simply smiling he knew he'd have to play it off. "Well, last night you told me you love me... what did you mean?" Dare made a silly face to his friend, "I do love you, just like I love my family because you're like my family." Darren slowly nodded his head and made his way to the door, "Get well soon, Percy."
Relationship Background
"Dating is a hassle if you don't actually like the person. Unfortunately I learned that the hard way, multiple times."
Dare only likes males as it's been that way as long as he can remember, but he's never had a boyfriend from fear. Odd enough he has had a one year long relationship with a girl from the beginning of eleventh grade to the beginning of twelfth. He didn't actually like the girl in that way, but he wanted to feel normal and they stayed with one another until she went off to collage; he missed her but he was happy the relationship ended. Her name was Angelia Christy Berk and she was his first and last girlfriend. While they were together he wished he could have been straight just for her, but it was impossible. Dare thought she was a beautiful girl though, so sweet and very popular, it had been shocking for him that he liked her, but at least now if anyone ever doubts his sexuality he can always bring up the beautiful girl he had been with.

You Don't See Me That Way by Safetysuit
"Now I'd like to tell you
And I'd like to say
How I, I feel right now
And I'd like to follow
You down the hall
And see where it goes from there
But you, you don't care
Cause you don't see me that way
You don't see theīģŋ way I look at you
When you are not looking at me
I wish that I could tell you
Every single thought I ever had about you and me
But you don't see me that way
Now I'd like to hold you
Here in my arms
And have you never leave
And I'd like to give you
All that I have
To have you stay with me
But you, you don't see me
You don't see me that way
You don't see the way I look at you
When you are not looking at me
I wish thatīģŋ I could tell you
Every single thought I ever had about you and me
But you don't see me that way
I stare at you across the room
I maybe make a move atīģŋ you
I don't think you'd take it too well
I steal another glance or two
I maybe take a chance with you
But you, you don't need me
You don't even see me
No, you don't see me that way
You don't see the way I look at you
When you are not looking at me
I wish that I could tell you
Every single thought I ever had about you and me
But you don't see me that way
No, you don't see me that way, no,no, no

The Gift Of Innocences
She could have laughed at the thought of sharing with him, this still unnamed man. And then it was like she ran face first into a brick wall. For years she'd been seeing a psychologist, well more of sitting in a room silently staring at the ground, for a few years about her paranoia, depression, and schizophrenia. The psychologist was still nameless to her, Grey was pretty sure she was a woman but never had time to really pay attention. This fact was so unwanted she could scream, she couldn't change what she just realized though. She couldn't just go sit down for a few hours then walk out of the office that she dreaded so much, oh no, not this time. The man behind her was now her new silent sitting buddy she'd probably go to three times a week, and she couldn't forget that one small detail.... they lived in the same building.
With a slight pivot of her body her right shoulder was now to him, her head followed the straight point with a lazy roll, staring at him with a strange tension growing of confusion, why was there so much confusion? "I'm not one to open up, but before I was brought I took.... consoling...." Talking about this was odd, standing here was odd, but the distance uncaring look that she had was not. She was normal Grey. Like her name she was just dull and bland from time to time for a big sum of it. Avoiding the world was a favorite of hers, something she needed to work on.
Letting her body completely face him she took a moment and just stood there blankly without a care in the world, but then the care returned and she rooms step towards him once again. Her bipolar tendencies was another issue, small but there, it wasn't a big concern at this time for her. Her problems were her problems, she never disguised them, they still lingered anyways. Small pebbles of hope filled her imaginary river that if she never shared how she felt that it'd all just go away, each time she didn't share she'd gain a pebble and every time she did she'd get water; the river was completely dry and was stoned over. "I care a lot about my problems, I never share, never," that one word could not be stressed any rougher from the fragile girl. She hated how everything in her life had been screwed up and that what had happened would get her locked up probably for life. "I care a lot about my problems, more than I should, like everyone else in this messed up world. I cry, stress over, break down because of it... I don't share it with anyone though. That's why I'm pleased with the new job I was given. I can help the people like me... Maybe if I begin to trust you more I'll open up, but until then I'll still need you to prescribe me medication that I'll need...."
Telling that much was more than usual, but today was full of newness. It kind of felt good though and she would think about the memory removal, she knew what the price would be though, her wedding day. The memory would be hard to part with, still most likely worth it. "And my memory"pause"I would really like it gone." Loving the day she was married was the best thing in her life besides the day she meet George, forgetting his death was worth losing it, at least to her. She could forget the beautiful white dress, the big smile, the kiss that slide the deal, all could just leave her mind of she could forget finding him dead. Filling a new burst of emotions overwhelm her she leaned forward, accidentally laying her head to his shoulder but was to stricken to move from the place. "Sorry." Saying so softly she tried her best to quiet the random gasps of air she needed. "I just wish I could forget everything that's happened lately... everything."
