Fae Larissa

Your local hairstylist

0 · 48 views · located in The Outlying Capital

a character in “Glass Heart, Clockwork Heart”, as played by Raella

Description

Physical description:
Fae is an asian with an athletic frame and brunette hair to match her hazel eyes. She stands at a height of 170cm and often wears a simple onyx dress or casual clothing despite her occupation as a hairstylist. However, much to her displeasure, her working attire would require much more stylish and expensive looking clothing.

Personality:
Fae is generally an outgoing person who enjoys interacting with other people. She believes in her own values and will not bend nor change for anyone she doesn't respect. She wishes to portray herself as someone who only participates in situations if she benefits however her care for her friends forces her to go against this, making her willingly help those precious to her. She often finds herself trying to hide sorrow and pain so as to not appear vulnerable. Once she gains respect for an individual, she'll remain loyal and devoted to that person be it in a friendship or a relationship; no amount of bribery can sway her. Though she isn't exactly selfish, she values money and other valuables a lot and refuses to spend it on anything unnecessary. (But for some reason, donating money to the old ladies who don't have a home to return to is an excellent way of spending money). As much as she dislikes crowded areas and noisy children, with enough money, she'll be persuaded to babysit almost anyone. Once she sets her eyes on a goal, she would strive for the best; falling short is not an option. It's all or nothing. Also, as much of a perfectionist she aims to be, she's terrible at remembering things.

Background:
Born and raised by the seaside, Fae found comfort in the familiar aroma of the ocean. Although she could still recall countless joyful memories of frolicking by the sea, there's one memory which would follow shortly after: her mother's suicide. Despite being aware of her parent's strained relationship from a young age, never did it cross her mind that her mother would end up taking her own life. Throughout her childhood, she felt lost and unsure of what to do in future but after that incident, she decided to chase the dreams her mother never could. Immediately after graduating college and obtaining a diploma in hairy styling, she moved to the Outlying Capital, hoping start anew. Eventually, she opened her own salon, naming it after the neon green lights that flickered across the midnight sky on the day her mother became one with the ocean - Aurora. As a result of the effort she poured into her work, she clinched the first prize in numerous national and international competitions. Yet she was never satisfied. She thought that by being the woman her mother could only dream of becoming, she'd find consolation in her creations.

But it was just was retribution.

If her mother had a passion for hairstyling, so should she... right? She then continued to climb the corporate ladder, further honing her skills in the art of coloring by attending a course in London. Through the experience, she forged many connections with other artists of similar footing and collaborated with them to earn her more fame on social media. When she returned, it was as though she had it all: fame, wealth and skill.

However, the solace she seeks has yet to be found.

So begins...
