Personality

One marvelous personality wasn't good enough for Kyjia, no, she needed two. Cursed with Multiple Personality Disorder, or, as it is now known Disassociative Disorder, whenever she becomes emotionally stressed (Goldeneyes, as those who knew her nicknamed it), she switches to Jykia. They are each aware of the other's existance, but only through what they are told by others. They each have a hard time wrapping their heads around the idea of the other one.
There are some important differences between Kyjia and Jykia, much like the important differences between fire and ice.
Kyjia is soft and delicate and shuffles her feet when she walks; when people think of her, they see a small, sweet smile. However, she is horribly insecure, and needs constant reasurance to accomplish her goals. Kyjia wants to help people by brewing potions, nothing serious, like curing illnesses or saving lives, just potions to remove wrinkles or help someone get to sleep at night. She dreams of opening a small shoppe/workshop (instead of the cheap laboratory she rents now).
Jykia is confident and sarcastic and walks with long strides; when people think of her, they see a fierce and daring grin. However, she can be self centred and ruthless, not caring about other people if they get in the way of her goals. Her goals are best represented by the visual of someone rubbing their fingers together. She dreams of running a corporate empire, a company devoted to making cash selling potions to buyers with deep pockets.

As well as brewing potions Kyjia/Jykia is fond of cooking.

Equipment

Kyjia/Jykia always keeps a recipe book on her, in her silk bag. The book contains a recipe for everything, or, at least, she hopes it will someday, and is always eager to add to it. She has three categories of pockets in her cloaks, gowns, and capes. Ingredients, containers for ingredients, and occasionally some sort of potion (or snack) that she happens to have on hand.
She traverses via a large, special underground species of fox she bought at a pet store. In relation to human size, it would be about the size of a pony or small horse. It's fur is a golden colour, one reason why she is so fond of it.
She also owns a portable scrying fluid and dish that she uses for communications, mostly with clients, and potentially with the friends (and family) she wishes she had.

History

Kyjia has a history, but Jykia has one too, fictional of course, but as real as she is.
Kyjia was born to a poor family, in the most aether polluted part of the city. When she was 12 (in gnome years), her overprotective mother who suffered from paranoia, died of mysterious circumstances. Her father, lonely and phsycologically disturbed himelf, started sexually abusing her a few years later. At 27, she became pregnant from one of these assults. The resulting baby was poisened by the aether and was mutated into a goblin form. This was the first time Jykia appeared. Her ruthless nature enabled her to, in a daze, dump the baby in a dumpster behind their house (shack). A few days later, Kyjia, as Jykia, ran away. She sold enough potions on the street to rent the laboratory+bed she currently uses.
Jykia was born to a family of rich nobles, the inventors of a major invention that she fails to recall. She grew up in prosperity, and, after a formal coming-of-age ceremony, was given enough money to rent the laboratory+bed she currently uses. Her loving parents are just too busy to call, that's all.
