Ringo's Story

Ringo had been following Tony's nose, and so far the evilest thing he had met on the way were some demon bandits. they had ended up in the Clearwake region when he had seen something right over him to the town close by. Tony said that thing is infused with dark energy and it's killing towns people so that should give us enough time to charge their special attack. by the time they got close enough to see it they saw an airship floating over the city and a dragon and the griffon, that's what Tony said it was so being took down by a dragon, and he guessed it's magic. Tony told him that it would still have magic energy in it, and it would feed tony for at least five days, and just the meat would feed him for three. when he got to the body he saw the dragon and some human servants or something, well he had to unbind Tony for this. As soon as tony had eaten the magic center, he opened his mouth and yelled "HEY STUPID DRAGON I'VE EATEN YOUR KIND BEFORE AND MESS WITH ME I'LL EAT YOU TOO" Ringo looked at Tony with a horrified expression and started to run away, last time Tony had got him into this much trouble he'd had to kill a bar bar full of mercenary.

"I'm sorry lord dragon but there are two of me I'm Ringo, my hand is called Tony He's the celestial lord of gluttony I'm just traveling, looking for evil to fight, please spare my life" "shut up weakling, we can take this guy he's not so tough" "no you shut up tony, we would have to take out his servants over there too" "there still weak from the fight we could take them easily" "no tony, I'm wrapping you back up". Ringo took the binding wrap and covered tony up, now the only one who could hear Tony was Ringo. "im sorry for Tony, but if it would not trouble you where would the airship station be I seemed to of gotten farther from the fount lines then i had hoped and i was wondering when the next airship i could go on is, or if you have been offended then let me help you with any favor you need".

"This Gen your talking about must be evil, if you don't mind could i come with you? Hey rix, do you mind if i call you that? you don't have to burn the body give me three minuets and the body will be gone, Tony has about five days in the tank after that, more if to allow him to eat the griffin, after that unless we run into evil creatures someone in the party is going to have to feed him him magic." he has smiling as he said, then suddenly he frowned"unless your not taking me with you, i under stand if you don't want to, but you should, this is a celestial lord on my arm and the way he describes himself in his home dimension he one step down from a god." he then laid at he princess feet crying "pleeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaassssssssseeeee take me with you Tony just led me in circles i don't think he wants to kill evil, you're the best lead i have to destroy evil, i promise to make sure Tony is good, if he isn't you can leave me to rot, just give me a chance pleeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaassssssssseeeee, I'll do anything".

Bella yelps when the man with binded hand laid on her feet, pleading to take let him join the group. Gabe pulled Bella behind her in panic and shouted at the man.

"what are you doing?!" Gabe was getting angry "we don't even know who you are!"

( the airship is parked a few hundred meters from where they are. I don't think people know they have a ship. And no one else except for the team knows about their quest, k? )

The silent Arkantos moved down from the roofs.He looked at the party and the dragon turning in an humanoid being...
..Because that being was something way more than human.
He walked over the dead creature and looked at it,to then remove the knives and daggers wasted to harm the creature,if it really did.
After he gathered all the twenty,he moved apart and sat on a barrel,with a piece of cloth,intending to clear his dagger from the blood to avoid damage and bad looks.
Then a man came and wondered about the situation.
Passively,Arkantos was looking at the scene: he saw Gabe and the man discuss about what happened,and when Gabe pointed at the group he was sharpening the edge of his blades.
"So...we have a dragon,a shard of the Goddess of Light,an insane assassin,a cat-man,a Guardian and a poetic warrior...Hmmm I like this team"
Arkantos looked ahead,seeing a man falling on the knees,praying for something: he wanted to join the quest to convince the gods to fight the Children of Venash.

"Pleeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaassssssssseeeee take me with you Tony just led me in circles i don't think he wants to kill evil, you're the best lead i have to destroy evil, i promise to make sure Tony is good, if he isn't you can leave me to rot, just give me a chance pleeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaassssssssseeeee, I'll do anything".

He saw the princess tempted to let the Stranger in the team,but here comes the guardian that blocks.In the tone of Gabe Arkantos recognized a little of irritation: he never saw Gabe getting angry,and it seems to get bad if he gets angry.
Arkantos stood up walking forward without saying anything.Rixator,wanted to burn the beast: even if Arkantos was a backstabbing traitor,the sense of honor comes before everything.
He wanted to further see the Gryphon.In truth tales of Clearwood told about such winged lions flying around: thus who had the luck to see a Gryphon,would enjoy a life of joy and happiness.
He heard a lady,saying that a man named Gen turned this winged beast in a wicked.
But this Gryphon was way different: he may turned the life of many in a desperate run for life.Arkantos gazed the beasts and muttered something,before returning to the main quest:
The probably future companion of adventure.
He made out two ideas: The man is insane and is seeking death...he doesn't even know what he is going to face!
Arkantos joined the group,only for the safety of Clearwood and for that he will fight.

Bella placed a hand on Gabe's back. Gabe turned to see Bella shook her head, signaling him that she was alright. Gabe replied with a nod. Bella then turned her head to face Garen.

"The god of light told me to seek an ally here. I assume it is you... is it?"

"While I'm sure you all might not agree with my methods, do not think any less of me. Where I am from, the sands aren't fit for burial, so we use catacombs. And those that aren't suitable for the catacombs...Too mangled body or the corpse is tainted...We send them off in a funeral pyre and spread their ashes to the wind and sand." Rixator explained blatantly, folding his arms and looking to the group. He had grown up knowing and working with animals just as much as people, though all native to the badlands and deserts. Such noble creatures as the griffon were unknown to him for the most part since he rarely saw them, even in his travels. "All I'm doing is suggesting the latter as an honorable send off. And no, no one is eating this griffon." He eyed the one now at the princess' feet. "Study the beast as you wish to any of you who wish to do so. But once you are done, we decide how to get rid of the body, if we choose to do so. I stand by my choice." He gave a nod before yanking the hood back into position and concealing his face once again.

"how about we let..." Gabe paused and looked at the person with binded hand, just realizing he did not know the person's name and that they all had not introduced themselves.

"My name is Gabe, a royal protector of Avory and beside me is the one and only princess of Avory" he waved his hand at the group and continued "we are on a quest to try and gain peace back in Daughtris" he turned to look at the party "while we are here discussing about what to do with the dead griffin, the children of Venash are colonizing Daugtris and killing people in the process".

Gabe turned to Bella and signaled her with his head to follow him. Bella understood and followed gabe a little further from the group.

"so should we let the guy join?" Gabe whispered while looking around, careful not to let anyone hear.

Bella looked a the person with binded hand for a second and turned to look at Gabe "I don't know..." Bella said looking worried "it's up to you, Gabe" she whispered

"okay" Gabe whispered

They both walked back to the group.

"ehem" Gabe cleared his throat "shall everyone introduce themselves?" .

-after everyone introduce themselves

"Okey, Ringo, our quest may involve fighting with monsters, if you cannot fight, you will only be dragging us down... If that happens, we shall leave you" Gabe then turned his head to the dead griffin "as for the griffin, if you can, you may feed on only it's dark energy and leave the body as it is and the guardsman of Amara will take the job of burying it. If you cannot feed on the dark energy without taking the body, then leave it. The guardsman shall see to the dead creature" Gabe paused for a moment and continued "now do what you must, Ringo"

Gabe turned to look at Mitei and Reiko "you have incredible magic, Mitei" he smiled and continued "We would appreciate if you and your twin would help us on our quest"

Gabe turned to Garen "will you help us too, Garen?"

Lastly, Gabe turned to look at Bella. Bella smiled, and nodded at Gabe, impressed.

RIngo said “thank you, Tony has already eaten everything inside the body but the flesh, I can fight I’ve killed bandits, a bar full of mercenaries, and ahhh some other stuff probably. Just remember in five days tony will need to be fed, if you have magic items you don’t need or a high level spell or two that should give him another day or two. Because I really don’t want him to start feeding on me, and I don’t think you want to see him start to eat me, he told me the black would creep up my arm until it got to my brain then he would be in control and eat until he had a few days’ worth of in his tank. But the five days are an estimate; if I unwrap him it would be more like twenty four hours.”

The Twins had just brought Eclipse some interesting news, his sister was coming to his new capital city. Eclipse wasn’t even done making Demotia into Eclipsia, not too much was going to change, the only major changes he was going to make were the name of the city, changing some of his shadow knights into their old peasant bodies so that they might slave away growing food for his army, letting his new lieutenant Hidan chose what gangs stay in town and what gangs become shadow knights for the glory of eclipse, and of course putting a collar made of shadow, that could activate at a moment’s notice, turning the all wearing it into knights. As he entered the room all five of his lieutenants where there ”so if you haven’t heard my sister is coming, bad news she is a more powerful summoner then me and know my abilities, good news I know her tricks too and she shouldn’t know any of your skills. Ok my plan is when she comes we have a party like the last family reunion, except this time we have fireworks. Hidan how many yukuza groups are needed to run this city and how many of your subordinates would you like traveling with you that have free will?”

Rixator nodded once, sighing softly as he rubbed the back of his neck. More people were here, lovely. But, as they say; the more the merrier. But, seeing as how nervous Bella was getting just from addressing the original group, he doubted she would be taking the leader position. It'd probably be Gabe. Rixator wasn't big on taking orders from someone nearly half his age, but he couldn't fight it. Besides, things were actually starting to get a little fun! "Well, if anyone needs me, I'll be wandering about..."

((Short post, but not much to work with.))

Gabe announced over introducing the team to the future team mate,Arkantos rises from the barrels and stood up not far from Gabe.
Arkantos cared not: instead he seemed to dislike the new joiner,he was a little strange however what was separating him from fantasy right now? Gods,Invasions...this is nonsense!
A flash of wondering appeared in Arkantos's mind.
He walked toward Gabe and touched his shoulder.
"Gabe,where are Obana and Theda?" Arkantos said,while removing his grip from his shoulder.
Then,Arkantos moved ahead slowly."If you search me,am in the Air ship" He muttered,turning his head toward Ringo,as he walked.
In truth he didn't know where the Air ship was: He is going to discover it,thought.

CHAPTER 4

Rixator turned around "Well, if anyone needs me, I'll be wandering about..."

"nu'uh your not. We need to get back to the airship" Gabe pulled Rixator by the cloth

Bella was watching Gabe and Rixator while Reiko is purifying what is left of the dark energy from the dead tainted griffin, talking with Mitei in the same time. Reiko then turned to Bella.

"By the way, I see you can use white magic, your highness" Reiko said to Bella, "May I ask whom you learned it from?"

"oh" startled Bella. She placed a hand on her chest where her heart is "The god of Light joined her spirit with mine when I was little" Bella smiled "since then, I could use white magic"

While Bella was talking with Reiko, The dark aura from the dead griffin, engulfed Garen. Garen seemed to lost his senses and dropped to all fours and changed into a dragon form. His scales turned black and eyes turned red. Letting out a roar he slammed his tail into the ground as a challenge to anyone. The ground shook.

Every civilians started to panic and run. One of the guardsman yelled "the dragon is going mad!". The sheriff looked at Gabe "control that dragon of yours!". Gabe replied with "that's not my dragon!"

Mitei turned around, "... Great... A dragon now... What next? Bahamut?!" She said as she jumped on Garen's back and neck, "Alright dragon-boy... Time for you to face the light(ning)" she said as she used a thunderbolt to Garen's head.

(dice roll: 8 for Mitei's atk ... so will Garen block or let it burn? )

Bella had to balance herself from the earth's shaking so she would not fall. She looked at Mitei casting a lightning spell on Garen "Stop!". Her voice is filled with worry.

When Gabe saw Bella was in danger, he quickly focused his energy on his legs, disappeared from his spot and re-appear in a blink of an eye in front of Bella, protecting her from Garen with his shield "Careful, Bella!"

After he lightning from Mitei's attack burned Garen's neck, Garen tried to grab and toss Mitei with his tail. He then breathes black flame to everyone.

(for the attempt to grab Mitei I'll roll a dice to see if it succeeded... if 7 and more, it succeed... dice roll:8... grab and toss succeed)

(dice roll: 8 on attack to Mitei and 11 on everyone else.. you are lucky, Garen )

Gabe's eyes were focused on Garen. Seeing that the black flame is going toward him and Bella, he cast a force field using the his shield to protect Bella and himself "I summon the Spirits of 17 holy Valkyries! Holy Shield!"

(dice roll: 5.... 11atk-5def = 6 )

Garen's fire was too strong. Gabe's force forcefield broke and burned Gabe. Bella was behind Gabe which saved her from the fire.

"Gabe!" Bella was shocked

"I'm okey!" Gabe said. Gabe focused his Ki, preparing for a great attack. (charging)

"Let the Grace of Jupiter Be the Cure for Your Sake!" Bella casted a healing spell on Gabe. The burns on his arm and legs started to heal.

"thank you"

Bella started casting another spell to shield everyone "Let the Hexagram and Pentagram shields my friends from harm!". A big overlapping Hexagram and Pentagram appeared and shielded everyone

(dice roll: 11... I'm not lying :-P... 11atk-11def = 0 )

The shield spell succeeded in protecting everyone.

Ringo started to unwrap the binds on his hand and revealed Tony, the gluttonous monster. Tony lunges forward, dragging Ringo along, attempting to bite and drain what has overwhelm Garen.

(dice roll: 6... will Garen dodge?)

The sheriff and his guardsman was safe from the black flames thanks to Bella's magic shield. The sheriff knows that Garen is one the princess of Avory's companion. Killing the beast would offend Avory. He decided to help and capture the beast.

"men! use light elemental magic against that beast!" The sheriff ordered the guardsman "fire to paralyze! not to kill!"

(roll dice: 5... hehe :-P attacked Garen using npc :-P)

It seems that Garen has lost control of himself. He did not defend or evade any attacks thrown at him but attacks blindly at everyone. Ringo is clinging on to Garen by Tony's bite trying to absorb the dark energy that has overwhelm him. Mitei's firebolt arrow hits Garen's body but the hard dragon scale manage to absorb most of the damage. Theda's blinding light had temporarily blinded Garen. The blinded Garen breathes fire on everything. Bella's protection shield had taken lots of damage and is starting to break. Suddenly Garen stops and electricity overwhelms his body, getting ready to do a stronger attack to everyone.

Rixator saw what was happening as the attacks landed, and now he took action. With a simple step, he was off, a dark blur that could only be registered for a split second to the untrained eye. Without the weights, his Ki assisted speed and agility were at an inhuman level, and he knew just how to utilize this. Speeding forward and around, he began his movements while summoning up sands in great amounts, forming length-wise before turning to a chain sort of material, the sands compacted and hardened just as before with the sand drill. Moving along different lines around the others and the rampaging Garen, he worked the sand chains in a complex manner, seeming to go in random lines and such. However, upon a bird's-eye view of it, he was forming a pattern; a crest to be presice. After a moment he soon stood in front of Garen, hands together with the end of the chain clutched between them. "Ancestral desert winds and great sands of the noir, grant me the strength to bring down this foe!" He muttered before shouting. "Everyone, braces yourselves!!" With that warning, Rixator finished his mark by staking down the end of the chain. "Dark Art of the Sands! Devouring Enboundment!" The chains began to rattle and soon erupted upward. If successful, they would not only bind down Garen, but also possibly cancel out the lightning since this particular trapping technique had the ability of consuming energies.

--2 Hours Earlier--

As a warm breeze blew and the sun's rays finally seeped in through the shattered stained-glass windows, a pair of ivory eyes opened in the shadows at the farthest corner of the ruined cathedral. A massive figure shifted and soon stood on four legs, stepping out toward the southward facing hole from which the beast entered and exited its home. Its scales could be seen through as the colors of the lights seemed to dance. Moving into the sunlight, Bahamut stood on his hind legs and stretched out a bit. The immense dragon turned and moved amongst the ruins of what was once a magnificent city, his eyes glancing to the castle ruins in the distance. Today was the day he'd begin his destruction of Daughtris, whether those infernal gods liked it or not.

After finding the run he had used for getting a running start on fast paced, long distance travel, he stood at the end and faced the cliff. The point from which Bahamut would leap and become airborne was a cliff side at the coastal line. It was not a slant or steep side; it was a sheer rock wall that ran perpendicular to the crashing waters below. With a bellowing roar that shook what one could assume was once farmland, the mighty dragon sprinted forward, at the edge in no time and soon in the skies. His first destination was the major cities and such of the country/region called Clearwood. A forest land. Perfect to start off strong with his path of destruction.

--Present time--

By now, Bahamut was well into Clearwood territory, and was already burning down portions of the mighty forests with his Dragon Fire. Internally, he was laughing at the misfortune he was causing many people and creatures, but he was too focused to give any thought to how hilariously futile the struggles of these people were. The dragon had sources and had even scouted some of these lands himself, and he knew now he was fast approaching Amara, a major town in Clearwood. In the distance, a little ways away from the town was some sort of massive, metal abomination. Airships they were called. Petty creatures desiring to rule the skies as dragons, harpies, griffons, and other flying creatures do. With another bellowing roar that traveled and echoed for miles, Bahamut heralded his own approach with his unmistakable call. The beast that was supposedly just a myth was here. Very real. Very large. And very, very dangerous

CHAPTER 5

Bella turned her head back upon hearing a roar from the faraway skies

"What was that?" Bella's heart jumped "Did you hear that?!" she asked Gabe, shouting, so that he could hear her.

Gabe's wounds are still in the process of healing. He was holding his shield forward, still blocking Garen's attack from harming Bella "hear what?" Suddenly Garen's fire became stronger. Gritting his teeth, Gabe started to push harder so that the fire won't pass through.

Then the nightmare appeared, Bahamut, the legendary dragon. It's gigantic wings blocking the sun light from shining down on them, drawing people to look up by curiosity. Gabe was stunned at the sight. His mouth fell open but no words came out. He only heard stories and seen drawing of the being from story books when he was a small child... but now... he is seeing it with his own eyes. Gabe wasted no time and cast the most powerful magic barrier that he can conjure.

"I summon the Valkyries, Shield-wielding Sisters of Battle! Protect us from harm!" Gabe shouted and 6 Valkyries spirits appeared, aligning themselves, creating a Hexagon sigil barrier.

Gabe grabbed Bella's arm and shouted "Lets run!"

Bella was shocked. Gabe pulled her and they both ran to the woods, trying to get out of the Bahamut's sight.

"how many monsters attack will there be today?!" The sheriff questioned loudly "run people or Amara! Save your family!" He knew that Amara couldn't be saved. People ran as fast to the woods as fast as they can, leaving all their tree houses to be destroyed by the Bahamut. The sheriff saw one of his men getting ready for a charge at the legendary nightmare. "Stop! We have no chance of winning!" The guardsman heard the sheriff yelled and stopped. He nodded and ran away following all the other townsman.

Gabe pulled Bella, running away to save their lives. Bella turned back while still running, her hands in Gabe's.

"Gabe!" Bella shouted at Gabe to get his attention "what was that?"

Gabe turned to Bella "I'm not sure" he paused to take his breath and continued "but I think it's the monster from the storybooks we use to read when we were kids"

"but that's just a story to scare little children, Gabe... A fairytale" Bella let go of Gabe's hand and stopped, taking her breath.

Gabe stopped and saw the others following. "we need get to the airship, Bella"

"and why am I running?" Bella panted while taking her staff out of her magical satchel. ”Fly! Float! Staff, take flight!” The staff hovered and Bella sat on it sideways "lets go!"

Bella flew quickly using her staff while Gabe dashed by casting wind magic to his legs. When they reached the airship, Bella flew up while Gabe climb the dropped anchor by running up on it, fast.

"Lets go people! Get on, fast!" Gabe called the others from up the airship

Hikari's and Bella's spirit are one. Hikari eccessed Bella's thought to gain information on the group. She now knows the names of everyone that Bella knows.

"you alone will not serve much, Arkantos... you all need to stand as a team" she said while looking at Arkantos, replying his question earlier, then continued "Currently, I alone don't have the power to stop Bahamut. The ancient dragon is almost as strong as two of the Gods combined" She paused and looked at everyone "with only this one airship, we can't hope to do anything for now" She walked to the edge of the airship's deck and gripped the railing and stood there for a moment, staring where Avory is, before continueing to talk "We can only hope that Avory's forces can hold until one of my sibling is found..." Hikari walked to Garen with a frown "You need to have better control of yourself, Garen. Don't waste the powers of the artefact that I led you to"

Some parts of Clearwood is still burning from the Bahamut's flame. far away, the main city of Clearwood, its castle stood and was fortunate enough to be untouched. Suddenly, a familiar energy wave could be felt by Hikari. Water can be seen rising high, reaching the skies, multiple times from different parts of Clearwood, putting out the flames.

Hikari turned around quickly to the group, looking surprised and spoke "I can sense Undine nearby" She looked down from the airship and scanned the area with her eyes "there!" she pointed to a great waterfall. "you all must go there, quickly". The god of light then bursted into many tiny lights and floated back into the unconscious Bella.
