"That's not right..."
David is a generally easy-going and fun-loving little boy. His severe case of OCD quickly causes problems for those around him however and others tend to immediately label him as "strange" or "odd". He loves numbers (specifically the odd ones), stripes, and pens. Everything must be done in a particular way and very organized or his anxiety levels rise and he becomes a little terror. When stressed, his symptoms become worse and he becomes withdrawn and broody. If his anxiety is under control, however, he is very social and happy.
David always wears a brightly colored two-toned bracelet around his wrist that he pulls at when his anxiety rises.
David was born to a traditional, happy two-parent household. He was diagnosed with OCD at the age of three and has been receiving treatment ever since. He has been hospitalized once (three months prior to him beginning to develop powers) when his mother (who stays at home with him) could no longer handle the downward spiral of his symptoms.
He first begins to notice his powers while in class. Bored and becoming antsy, he wishes for a breeze to blow through the classroom. In an instant, all the papers in the classroom begin to fly around in a whirlwind. Later, he is able to change his lunch from a grilled cheese sandwich into a peanut butter sandwich with a mere thought. At the end of the day, although his mother hadn't packed him any money, he finds a dollar in his backpack to buy ice cream. He still doesn't completely understand what is happening, the extent of his powers, the responsibility that comes with such powers, or the possible consequences of such powers.
